Magic Beans

Our first awareness
      falling through time
through blood-rain, pure white snow, green vegetation
      down into deep earth
      warm sunshine
      cool wind
      soaking rain

Energy flowing-up through our pod
      each day we grew bigger
snug together with brothers and sisters
      bursting our little cozy shell
      then one day
      a father and daughter
      plucked us from the vine
stripped – we lay bare upon a tray
      disorientated and tender but alive
a life force deep inside us
      our skin soft but hardening
then sleep . . . waiting for the one

Daddy!! Come see the beans
They changed colors
I see brown ones with white specks
      Yellow with black dots
      Orange with blue stripes
But wait . . . there are three larger beans that seem to glow and vibrate
      one is blood-red
      another . . . brilliant white
      the last . . . forest green
What does this mean daddy?
Is it evil?

No my sweet darling
These are special beans
Descended from an ancient garden long ago . . .
      no longer of this world
It was a place of love and light
No death but a deep communion between mother earth and us
The three beans are: Peace, Purity, Prosperity

These beans will feed a starving world
      Bring healing to the hurting
      Laughter to the downtrodden
      Hope to the desolate
      Love to the unloved
      Life to the dead
These beans hold deep magic

How do they work Daddy?
      a worthy woman is chosen
      who is humble of heart
      strong in spirit
      wise in love

Who is this lady?
      the magic beans choose
they only appear to the one female
you, my darling . . . you are the one

Me? I am only a girl
I have none of these things . . .
the beans see deep within a soul
      they never lie
      they have chosen you
together you will change the world!

Daddy, I am scared . . .
I am shaking
I am not worthy
      breathe deeply, close your eyes
put the beans in your mouth

Daddy, I taste sweetness
Molasses, ginger, caramel . . . now chocolate
I see visions upon the wind
Blood, wars, rage, yelling . . . unbearable things
yes, darling the evil is strong here
let the blood from the red bean flow
let it mingle with your love
it will defeat this evil and bring
      healing and forgiveness . . . peace

The white bean is singing with my voice – Daddy!
Sweet is her song
I see merriment, laugher, dancing . . .
People hugging and holding hands
My tears are falling
Filling rivers with waters of light, love and purity
Joy reverberates from mountains peaks

From my open lips runs rich green sap
Deep does the earth drink
Big drafts of life and love
I see fields flowing with
Cream, honey, and wine
Trees waving to the sun
The earth is rejoicing

I see beans being planted
In a garden
A man and a little girl
yes, my Little One, soar now
fill the world with your love
fill the wind with your song
      love generously

Such is the magic of these colored beans

Forbidden lover night time musings

Oh beloved, uplift your veil so I may enter your forbidden kingdom Savouring those untouched succulent fruits Relinquish your modesty - submit to me so, I may stroke your tender delicate skin absorbing and blending, our souls merging pulses beating faster with passionate evolution Your elegant body is an untravelled journey grant me permission to travel upon it for, I am the cicerone who yearns to guide solely leaving footprints, upon my ultimate destination 23 December 2015

Spring Bud

                          shivers under
                       a rug of loneliness,
                    a sleepy heart huddles
                   against such memories
                 of togetherness and not of
               goodbyes, hating to disperse
the fiery rhymes of your lips,
as well as the warmth of its
                 sweat...tastes like red wine,
                   then it beats...and beats
                     gently, as it envisions
                          you, in an early

Moonlight Madness

The moon falls out like a secret above the frisky clouds
Daylight and night the stars come in crowds
Like a glistening diamond, I can't stop staring
Mixed-up in that moment that has no time sharing

Holding onto the tip of the tree limbs like a puppeteer
I can hear the words the moon whispers into my ear

I will illuminate into a world only I know of
My very own little secret sparkling island getaway
A world where beauty hides the beast
I'll be the only exile under a sunless night feast

I'm going to pass on all my secrets away---
As I have on my dreaming moonlit gear
Comfort upon this mundane wonder, astronomical sphere.

I looked one last time at the mooned night
I will close my eyes, and find myself in a box kite flight.

I will lay myself down to sleep,
Not allowing my imagination to rinse off with wild sheep
Like a Nightingale, I rather sit and serenade myself to sleep
With the refreshing thought, the moon is like the pillow I keep

In this mad, mad world!
The moon seems to be the only object that holds it's sanity
Arousing me with it's inner peace and spirituality

The Shadow of Me

It was a long time ago, in another age
Where the shifting of the wind
Knew where I began
A place so far away,
Somewhere distant, in childhood country
Before the fog had set in,
Before time lost all trace of me

Where have they gone?
Those merry dancers with whom I played?
When we were queens of the carnival, kings of the parade?
Before being dethroned to mid-life corners
Hearing the music, without playing the drums
They tell me to take this age with grace
Yet everywhere I turn, is young

I'm still the same, I have not changed
I lived a time where love was wild and thoughts were too
With high regard, when eyes were glued
Now inside I'm torn in two...the old and the new
Trapped between this nowhere place
Myself and someone else
Until each barrier becomes a bridge...
Have I been shaped too square by passing years, to fit in circle's place?

My memory recalls those beautiful tomorrows
Now long buried in yesterday's ground
There are other ways to measure time
Besides growing older and graying hair
Recorded music fills the room
Left playing from an earlier time
When October skies showed fading traces
Of empty days and sad old faces
The "others" of whom I had no fear

Now those shadowed remnants from my past
Are stalking at my heels
Will somebody care to ask? Will anyone need my mind?
Is there something they want to tell me?
Will they patronize, or just be kind?

Care enough, make me useful, give me value, call me beautiful?....
Not yet the age I'll someday be
Still, I feel the sting of losing me
How I ache for all those love songs
How I ache for someone needing, someone pleading...
For advice....for my worth, for an answer, will they want me?
How it haunts me.....Will they see me?
Touching me....reminding me of who I am................not just who I was...

....The Title ^Fight....

Leaning against the ropes, eyes swollen half closed

Its been a long fight....

Blood dripping from a dislocated jaw

Body beaten and bruised; taking a few more blows

Crowd screaming; colourful figures; cloudy sight?!

Knocked down a few times but, not counted out yet

Not yet; still standing to catch a second wind.... ~

My foe is fierce and relentless, the best in the world

This worlds, undisputed heavyweight champ

At least over most of Humanity; never lost a fight to the faithless!?

Been the prince of his ring for thousands of years....

Almost had them carry me out; flat upon my back, in the early rounds

Until the undefeated “One,” showed up and volunteered to become

“My Corner ^Man.” ~

Been doing somewhat fair since yet, still, a tad bit fuzzy in my head....

Absorbing blows amid a fight like this but, I Am, still standing

And I get my punches in also; sometimes, I even win a round or two?!

My corner Man said; “The Real Champ.” ~

"Just wait for the right time, he'll open up, and when he does

Then, put him on his back; hit him with a left and a quick right

Another left another right and then, use your cut....

....I promise you, I shall gladly count him out, for you ~

Just hang on, we've got him, right, where, we want him!?"

The Battle

The menace of war in the chaos of life
The peril of ocean when tempests are rife;
The danger of jungle where feral beasts hide
The terror that lies in a mountain slide.
All these things are simple child's play
Or frivolous sport on a summer's day;
These sad battles that rouse and vex
The heart and soul of love and sex.

Struggle and hardship, beasts of prey
Are there to menace all human clay:
The bird uncaged can take to his wing
But the hazard of love is another thing;
Under the torment of passion's control
Love crushes the body and steals the soul.
A minute of rapture, an age of despair,
These are the gifts of love's warfare.

Always and forever since time began
When man dared woman and woman lured man;
In that sweet peril that prowls and lies
Is a bloodless conflict when eyes meet eyes.
That careless menace, forever sweet
Whose forlorn end, is joy's defeat;
Now and forever till time has passed
On passion's altar, hearts shall come last

Each Day Takes its Turn

Standing firm
we live
we give
we take
we learn
we strive to make sure
each day enlightens us
and brightens us
even as light fades to gray
may we keep fighting
with two swollen feet
beneath the body and soul
experiencing trials
and intense life lessons
meshed with stresses
may we persevere
turn off fear's song
may we stand firm
as we glide along
through shifty winds of change
that may cause things to sway
but we hold true
inside the values and morality
we stand for
fall for nothing
may stumble along the trip
may swerve at the wheel yet
do not lose our grip
because no one
can eclipse the sun
everyone heals
before they're done

Just when situations arise
flooding us with pain we despise
and just when it seems like
our tear ducts are dry
from ongoing cries
we may think
things are on the brink of ending
then God shows us the ways of faith
by way of love that he's sending

Standing firm
we live
we give
we take
we learn
we make sure
every day enlightens us
and brightens us
as each day takes its turn.

Test Of Time

Secrets blowing in the wind Another gift, another lift Words whispered from the soul Echoing in the chamber of my heart Looking ahead to the dreams we'll have It's what we believe in No turning back Chosen ----- Frozen Lost in love Lost in life Wiping away all the tears Soothing all our fears Together our friendship will survive the test of time

No Greater Love

For God so loved this sinful world, He gave us all His son; That we might live with Him one day, when life on Earth is done. No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed, And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed. The time was short for Jesus Christ, but what He gave mankind To lift our hearts and save our souls has yet to be refined. The grace and style in which He moved through politics and fools, Has paved the way for paths we trod through worldly ways and rules. His teachings spread throughout the land, His miracles renowned, He only had to touch a life to show His love was sound. Two thousand years have come and gone since Christ communed with man; And with his dying saved us all, to serve God's ancient plan. He rose from death, as He had said, and proved His word was true, That life eternal waited those who choose to suffer through. Salvation came that fateful day, the Bible tells us so; And time has shown that through God’s love the weakest spirits grow. Now, modern times are hard on us and cause us all to doubt, For change is there at every turn, and Satan’s always out. It’s now we need the love of God, for always, as before; Just lift your heart and ask for it, and see what lays in store. It’s through God’s love we handle change and how it makes us strong In ways we deal with worldly things and sort the right from wrong. For change is just another way the Lord sees fit to use To make our days seem fresh and new with paths to take and choose. It’s by our faith we live our lives and seek a brighter day, And how we find the confidence when doubts get in the way. But most of all it’s happiness that faith’s been known to give When our misfortunes come to cloud these modern times we live. We need not fear what God has wrought. We need not know His plan. We only need to know He’s there, and love’s in store for man. Just think the words you’d ask in prayer, and ere a sound be heard, His perfect love will fill your heart before you’ve breathed a word. No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed, And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed. But God forgave our debt to Him, we live in grace today; The greatest love you’ve ever known is just a breath away.

Lost Love - Gary Fields

Loss Lost Love

Why my love left?
I soon forget the reason's why
All that I remember
Is that she left such
An empty space
An empty trace
So many memories
Which can not be erased
And I die just a little inside
And time mean's nothing to me'
Fore you mean so much to me
              - And -
Then ever so slightly
I wish for quiet subtle change
And I don't know since when
But time just set's end on end
And smoke appears below
Which can choke a friend
A friend in need
Certainly not you love
And once again, ever so slightly
I wish for quiet suttle change
It has been three weeks (03) now
And things' are all in a clammer'
Thing's just seem to set end on end
And nothing seem's to matter
An I make a vowel for thee
In a time that is lost for- ever
O'h, how I wish to belong

by~ Poet Destroyer

I can see the pain!
I came to you no longer.
Looking for answers,
I cried till I could no more..

I shared'
I stared'
At the empty space hiding in my heart,
I knew then that day was the end.
Thoughts ran like rivers,
flowing a stream down my face.
You picked the pieces up as I walked away.
With no more to open and say.
When holding wasn't holding to me no more,
You opened up your heart, in hopes I could feel.

We cried into the night,
until the early morn.
We scolded each other's pain,
searching and seeking each others heart.

As time drew, second begun to fade.
I saw our lovers nest fading,
as the night grew thick.

The moment had arrived,
why did we say goodbye?
Now we sit alone,
reminiscing the past that vaporized into thin air.
An empty trace'
An empty space'
Oh! How I wish to belong!

A time to say goodbye

Are you convinced you want to say goodbye? Trust me darling you're making a mistake. If you do not care, then why do you cry? You can't hide your feelings; behaving fake. Trust me darling you're making a mistake. As fire turns to ash your words disintegrate. You can't hide your feelings; behaving fake. I'll shine like a diamond, you'll know your fate. As fire turns to ash your words disintegrate. Destiny guides towards an unknown path. I'll shine like a diamond, you'll know your fate. Be careful my love, world has too much wrath. Destiny guides towards an unknown path. Shadows disappear, washed away in rain. Be careful my love, world has too much wrath. My heart will heal, it does not live in pain. Shadows disappear, washed away in rain. I will not blame you for starless night skies. My heart will heal, it does not live in pain. No tears shed, you shall never hear my cries. I will not blame you for starless night skies. I know it is clouds that disguise the moon. No tears shed, you shall never hear my cries. Nothing lasts forever, some leave too soon. I know it is clouds that disguise the moon. Like weather, memories drift in the air. Nothing lasts forever, some leave too soon. Fragile blossoms perish without good care. Like weather, memories drift in the air. What we believed, died a premature death. Fragile blossoms perish without good care. Like promises to love, until last breath. What we believed, died a premature death. Sandman declined to bring dreams, we hoped for, like promises to love, until last breath. Don't look back when you walk through that door. Sandman declined to bring dreams, we hoped for. Lovers cannot continue to be friends. Don't look back when you walk through that door, broken hearted, hoping the torment ends. Lovers cannot continue to be friends. If you do not care, then why do you cry? Broken hearted, hoping the torment ends, Are you convinced you want to say goodbye?
25 April 2016 The Silent One 10 syllables per line. I was challenged by a Malaysian friend to do 10 stanza, so I did 11! Pantoum poem A rare form of poetry. It is composed of a series of quatrains; the second and fourth lines of each stanza are repeated as the first and third lines of the next. This pattern continues for any number of stanzas, except for the final stanza, which differs in the repeating pattern. The first and third lines of the last stanza are the second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second of the final. Ideally, the meaning of lines shifts when they are repeated although the words remain exactly the same: this can be done by shifting punctuation, punning, or simply recontextualizing. It odes not have to rhyme nor have a syllable restriction.

Oh so far I feel to find you
Oh so near I cannot bind you;
You so wise my plea goes heedless
You so dear my plea was needless.
In each human heart you shine
For all that's good is now devine;
Each act of love brings transformation
With thoughts and words of consolation.

Breath of life, you are the centre
In that point of time we enter;
A love that gives the glow of gladness
Brings relief to comfort sadness.
All we cherish, always flowing
Passes time beyond our knowing;
Trials to test our trust and love
Lead us to new paths above.

Creation lives in love inspired
Creator lives in all desired;
Painter of the cosmic spaces
Life you give to earthly places.
Though all humanity may claim you
There's none so wise that can name you
Human mouths be mute before you
Silence only can adore you.

Time Machine

Ride with me on my time machine to a different time and place
Return with me and let me see if I can put a smile upon your face
To the days of AM radio and the TV was black and white
To lying in a grassy field and counting stars at night
Popcorn and soda in the balcony at a Saturday matinee
Parades led by the High School Band on Decoration Day
Dressing up and going door to door on the night of Halloween
Cigarettes rolled in your shirt, pretending to be James Dean
Pep rallies before the football games, everybody stand and cheer
Going in the woods with your friends at night, sharing a quart of beer
That feeling inside, turning red, when she smiled at you at the dance
Wanting to kiss her goodnight, but you were afraid to take a chance
Playing chase tag at night in the neighborhood, hiding behind a tree
Holding hands with your first steady, so all your friends could see
Medicine Show at the end of town in a giant canvas tent
Saving pennies for a rainy day, fasting on candy for Lent
Going for a Sunday ride with Mom and Dad in the family car
Playing in the yard at night, putting lightning bugs in a jar
Drag racing on that long stretch of road, Chevy was hard to beat
Stealing peaches from a neighbor’s tree, always seemed so sweet
Riding bikes all over town, never knowing the meaning of fear
Identifying cars by their tail lights, make and model and year
News and Stooges at the theatre before the movie starts
Valentine’s day I love you written on tiny candy hearts
Easter bonnets and picking flowers for Mom on Mother’s Day
Opening day at the community pool the last weekend in May
Sock hop in the auditorium, collar up, trying to play it cool
Meeting friends at the usual place, everyday after school
Six for a quarter on the juke box, music that would move your soul
Return with me now to those glory days and the birth of rock and roll.

In His Bed

In his bed she lies in wait.
For when he returns he will surely sate.
The time in the shower was just a tease.
No time to time to please.
In his bed she envisions how he looked lathered in soap.
The smile he gave her when she went for a grope.
His mouth seeking hers for and amazing kiss.
The mounting pleasure..... turning quickly to bliss.
In his bed she tingles from head to toe.
From wanting him so bad, but he had to go.
An hour of yearning will seem like forever.
A blush reddens her cheeks as she imagines them together.
In his bed her fingers start to roam.
Finding her pleasure points, she lets out a groan.
For it's his lips and hands that she craves with desire.
Just the thought of his touch makes her perspire.
In his bed she anticipates his welcoming return.
Full of alluring charm that will certainly make her insides churn.
The smell and taste of him will awaken each and every sense.
Driving her to the brink of desire, each time getting more intense.
In his bed she hears him call out her name.
"Oh Darling........I'm going to drive you insane!"
The quivering begins for she knows he is right.
There will be no sleep 'in his bed' on this particular night.

Soul Mates....

A familiar ambiance…she had known this air….
This sand she had felt on her feet before
Ripe red strawberries grew wild somewhere
For, they’d shared them on a quiet shore
Her soul felt stripped…..naked…left bare
A man once whispered love ever more

These eyes of hers had never seen this place
Yet her soul sang of his hands on her face

His fingers once kissed a gentle caress
On her starving mouth that craved his touch
His lips made her an angelic mess
Wild eyed passion…a brush fire crutch
His hands reminisced her summer dress
Love and fear that she could feel so much

Yes, in a sometime, somehow she’d been here
How she missed those distant near....

Yesterday I forgot the shade of your eyes
I struggled to remember your touch
Today I forgot the sound of your voice
Each day I don't miss you so much
In the end you only brought me sorrow
I wonder what I won't remember tomorrow

A Moment In Time....

Sleeping Beauties~ Moment in time....

As I reflected upon her picture; this fairytale revised ~

And how she disappeared so quickly

Yet but a passing vision before my eyes

Still not knowing, what it was about herself

Or why, her name kept resounding throughout my mind?!

For it seemed as though she had arisen out of nowhere

Amid this enchanting allurement, which had drawn me unto her soul ~

Trying to envision her, within my far away thoughts....

Knowing although, that it did not matter, in which way she shown?

Because it was her spirit that sparkled, her radiance unto me!

Listening to her voice; like the silver soothing waters, of a gently flowing stream

Her golden hair so glowing, as the rays of the rising sun

Tall and perfect; with a smile shining, like those of polished pearls

Eyes like transparent glass; bluer then the bluest skies

A touch as soft as the clouds; and her skin, as smooth as a virgins flower!

And as my lashes blinked, once more, it was then, that I could see her there....

Like a goddess of all man's dreams she was, flawless ~

Mesmerizing, her brilliance; as an Angel when she did appear

As I bowed my head, and thought to myself, again

How never I would of believed, that she, would have been the one....

But as a phantom which passes within the shimmering night

Beyond, the frosted window pane of sight

Before I had awakened, she was silently and suddenly gone

Yet my eyes still glimmer at the thought, of how radiant she has become ~

While she dances away upon the waters of her moment

I know now, that her beauty and her soul, shall forever glisten

These portraits of her wonders, deep, inside of me

Her~Like the stars within the heavens....

"Tis better to have lived and loved, then, to have never loved at all"

Upon the stage of life; where she pirouettes like a princess

Whirling within the winds of Eden; gleaming gracefully, as she turns ~

Smiling, as I watch her now; thinking, who would have ever known!?

Sleeping Beauty, revived, amid a moment in time....

The Hardest Thing I've Ever Had To Do

The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

Well, of course,
It was pretty hard when you refused to go to the funeral after my Father died,
And I’d hate for this relationship to end in a lie, so…

The second hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

But, to come to think of it,
It was probably harder when I had to give Skippy away.
You know, when you made us move to Florida because you hated the cold,
I’ll never forget that day.

The third hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

Well, not quite as hard as it was when I had that little operation,
And you decided still to take your vacation,
And left me alone in the hospital with no visitation.
That was hard.

The fourth hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

You know, I did take it pretty hard when I proposed to you
And you said if I couldn’t buy you a bigger ring we’d be through
And I had to sell my car and hock my guitar
To get you a ring as big as a star.
That was pretty hard.

The fifth hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

Well darn it, no!
It was hard going to school at nights and working all day
Because you didn’t want to get a job and wanted me to earn more pay.
What exactly did you do with yourself all day!?

The sixth hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

No, its time to admit it,
I saw you with Tom that night,
And Bob the time before that,
And Tim and George, Harry and Frank.
That was hard on me and I’ve got you to thank.

The seventh hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you.

Now just wait a minute!
This is not hard.
In fact this is rather easy.
The hard part was living with you,
Placating you,
Pretending to love you,
Pretending that you loved me,
Heck, this is easy!

The easiest thing I’ve ever had to do,
Was to say I’m through with you!

Boy that was easy!
Now I feel much better.

Loving is to through a pebble into the sea
and the ripple become a wave
to plant a seed
and it become a tree
to cook a meal
and it become a feast
to build a house
and it become a home
to shine a light
and it become a beacon
to speak a name
and it impart trust
to see what lies benieth
what is seen on the surface
to hear the secrets
of the heart being told
to touch and give
comfort to a human being
to feel empathy instead
of sympathy in time of need
to let love be measured
by decades and deeds
where words are the least
of expressions of these
but summerize the tears, fears
and tongue of our God
a relationship with both
mate and Diety we laud
with works and prayers
love is more than words
it is the path we trod
love is a blanket
covered to keep warm
love is a needle
sewing socks while a fire burns
love is waking
before the break of dawn
love is baking and taking out
before it burns
love is a love note
during the day
love is thought
finding words to say
love is sometimes saying
"You can have it your way"
and love is duality in saying
"Lord give US this day"
where hell and high water
have no say
a sacred trust
in giving time away
love is forgiving all that
is abroad
love is not giving
that which belongs
to God
the only place to find this love
it is the place we call heaven
up high above

In another time

They say: " Fate is out of your control and destiny is what you are meant to do." I guess, some things in life are not meant to be, but then why would fate bring two people together when it is not their destiny. Circumstances in life can mean two hearts with a powerful spiritual connection cannot meet, because of the obstacles of distance. What use is a bee if it cannot produce nectar, what use is a tree if it cannot produce oxygen and what use is love if two beloveds cannot unite. Their frustrations burn with the agony of not knowing, torn between the emotions of the heart and the ego of the mind. Love is invisible, you do not see it, only feel it. It is an intangible phenomenon that everyone will experience in their life time. The touch, voice and sight of the beloved is like no other. To feel the breath of a loved one upon your face, to gaze into their eyes, to kiss their lips and to merge, drowning in an ocean of passion are fundamentals of love, so many take for granted. Whilst those apart can only dream of such pleasures. Someone once said: "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go." A heart cannot spend years in the wilderness and a human needs physical contact. Do you listen to your heart and keep the hope or do you succumb to your mind and walk away. Love never dies and you never stop loving someone. Sometimes in life you may have to settle for second best. Maybe in another place and in another time - she would have been mine...

What We Had Was Only a Tale

Here’s to a love that never existed!
And to the departing you insisted,
Let me give in to all I’ve resisted
It is true through our frivolous trail
Our lives were but a tale;
Though if I hadn’t thought of it
Pure hearts indefinite,
Not mattering even then,
Would I ever believe again?
We never win, we never fail
For what we had was only a tale

I’m lost within a dream never dreamt
Inside a slumber never slept,
And I caress the intricate design
Of the world I can never find
How vast! Yet still it is dying
Fading into the nadirs’ binding
As I fill the world with crying—always crying!
Oh world! Can I ever bring myself to hold
The warm nothing growing cold?
Oh world! Can I not take away
The love I gave with my will today?
We never win, we never fail
For what we had was only a tale

Time To Let You Go

Beneath the sunlit sky I see your face, and in that moment you reveal your touch- I feel the way you’ve mastered your embrace, and through the night your passion is as such. Above the twilit moon I need your kiss, I beg of you to keep my secret safe- For when away your fondness I do miss, and as we said we need our tender faith. The way the spark is lit beneath the sheets, reveals the gentle ways you swiftly trace my body like a sketch down to my feet, for in your arms is where I leave my lace. Before the Lord made man you loved me so- But now it’s time for me to let you go. English Sonnet October 21, 2016

Now my tendrilled soul,
Has found its pergola-- Christ--
To wind its way up....

Live each day as if it were your last
I tell you dear friend time is running so fast
All of us would one day return to dust
I know it's hard to accept but we must

Tell the people you love about the way you feel
Give them a hug and show them love that is real
Say sorry to those you offended so wounds would heal
Accepting your faults is not really a big deal

Do it now and don't tarry lest it be too late
Sometimes it's not wise for the right time to wait
Because your plans could be ruined by fate
If you do it now you would feel really great

Smell the pretty flowers, listen to birds singing so gay
Enjoy the beauty of nature give yourself time to play
Remember on this earth we can't forever stay
So I tell you now is the time, go ahead and seize the day

         *DRUNKEN POET*

There I see him sitting like a dummy.
Asking me for more shots of rummy

Talking about his detox days.
Talking about his poetic ways.

Rhyming my eyes comparing them to the moon.
Whispering lines saying he wants too spoon.

Next thing you know his words start getting deep.
Poeting out words revealing he's the family's black sheep.

His blood shot level was releasing his emotional word.
Dreaming that I was in a bath like a dirty bird.

Intoxicated with a breath so refreshing.
Designing me a thousand passionate ones in the meshing

Falling for his physical and mental temporary drunken state
His sense of intellectual things where hitting me real straight.

Swallowing his words like a forbidden love potion
I excessively indulged him with more alcohol to inspire his motion

Admitting to me that love was his downfall.
For me he fell from the stars and than began to crawl.

Proposing a toast for the sake of love
Rambling how I'm the only one he's dreaming of

Nourishing me with his ocean water of affection
Re-bonding his words for me to be his resurrection

Call me crazy for feeling the connection!
Allowing him to penetrate his poetry in me like an injection.

A character so loving above a 99% liquor proof test.
Romancing me with the disguise that he is the best.

Restraining myself from this drunken poet called my husband
Remembering that he is the one fool I can not stand

In his most charming rhyme he called me his rehab.
By that time I knew it was time to call him a cab.

Reminding him about his Alcoholic Anonymous class.
Now all of a sudden he starts acting like an a$$!

Putting his drunken sober poet mind to sleep.
Anyways tomorrow he will still be the same poetic romantic creep!

In a valley where our hands etched the moon Through luster of nightfall’s October veil; We shared confidences through hazed monsoon As I rambled on, keeping each detail Of common views…angels, books, a jazz tune While a serenade for two charmed night’s grail, Igniting warmth with his presence everyday… Slowly, we knew this was destiny’s way. Through persistent journeys, time clasped one spark Enshrining three years graced by light above, A pledge to remain steadfast, to embark On endless devotion crowned by flamed love. Again, he offered eternity’s mark, That would seal our vow like heaven’s white dove And my moist eyes glistened just like before, “Dear one, fate shall lead us to evermore.” Our Year In Love Contest, For Olive E. - It Is Never Too Late -

Being Young
What is "young" what you want
regardless of what others think .....
Young....."wise", inexperienced and a lot to learn
Not sure or absolutely certain
No duties and no considerations to take,
just think of the day
Free as a bird, spread their wings and fly where you want

Flower Power
Make Love Not War
Peace & Love

Spending the day with good friends, sleeping under the stars
Not sure or absolutely certain
Today`s young people are not so simple,
there are liabilities - they have to go to schools
to keep up with modern society
School, work, homework and have time to social gatherings
They are not free as a birds, they can not fly where they want

Flower Power
Make Love Not War
Peace & Love

For those who are young at age
Being young, young in body and soul
It`s never too late.....Fly Where You Want.....Fly...
Have a wonderful day

Flower Power
Make Love Not War
Peace & Love

Moment In Time

A moment in time, frozen in my mind Vision of beauty, an angel in my eye Sunshine sparkling down Brightening up my cloudy days Life was on the downturn spiraling lost... out of control Nights of loneliness. days of false smiles A few choice words, consoling my cries Those killer smiles you gave Those deep caramelized eyes, giving solace to my broken heart Taking my hand, you lead me from the deep, into the light. Upon the next shooting star To you, I devote my heart.
