The Best Mistake

You made the mistake and now,
your afraid to face this day.

Your thoughts are racing through
and through.

You wonder if your family looks at
you as a disgrace, but you'er mother
takes you and reasures, your very
much loved in grace.

Even though your much to young
for this breathing little thing this
has become.

You couldn't just throw it out
like it was a peice of trash.

So you grow up and take the
path that led you to your best
mistake for years to come.

A message from Emilly

A message from Emilly
By Angelo Casiano

A message from above to those of you I love.
I love you more than you’ll ever know,
Even more now that I’m gone.
And my love for you will grow and grow,
Like the chorus to a song.
I had to leave much sooner than
 I thought, I must admit.
But you know mom, until I’m done,
 I’m never gonna quit.
I left behind some parts of me,
I have so much to give.
Because of you I’m strong enough,
 to help some others live.
So Daddy when you think of me,
While you watch the Phillies play.
I’ll be sitting next to you. I’ll be with you every day.
You’ve given me the best of you.
And now I’m giving back.
I will love you for eternity. No matter were I’m at.

SLY FOX

~SLY FOX~

There you go again little Sly fox P.D.
Another game of tag and jeopardy.
Clever, clever, little fox so bloodthirsty.
Chaos roams through your veins of liberty.
You walk the ground, prancing around your hostility.
Marching down with the dignity of mis-guided anarchy.

I'm gonna hunt you smell end it well.
Hang you up from your trophy tail.
Kiss your night one last farewell.
By morning dawn your foxy tail,
Won't live another tale to tell.

I'm gonna find ya' ~ pull your hideout from where you hide.
Smack you around in your everyday rebellious ways.
Thinking you can defeat my crowd with your lawlessness..
I don't need no hounds to track your unlivable Holy-mess.
You created a selfish character of kindness for the blindness.
You prey on the sheep's and linger on their wall of hopelessness.
Your sinfulness grew from the boldness, and bitterness,
Of growing up parent-less.
My dear Sly Fox are you on alert with your ears of nobleness.
Did you not hear me creeping while you were sleeping.

Sly fox the destroyer!

You are right, you are a mischievous game of hunt!
My trap is set and waiting for you by the river front.
Go ahead, take a drink, pull one last obnoxious stunt.
Run and run, as fast as you can!
You can't out run this one game of Skitty Skat fox hunt.....

An Epic Battle With A Simple Question

A beautiful heart pines from afar. To parallel freedom, we choose our master. In Love, the Dragon and Unicorn are! Celestial winged heart beats faster, Over mountain and ocean meet polar eyes. To parallel freedom, we choose our master. Embarking from sun brewed and moonshine skies Two alien races, in war, collide. Over mountain and ocean meet polar eyes. All brothers' swords raise, marching with pride. Sisters of heaven let feathers fly. Two alien races, in war, collide. The angered clouds rain blood from the sky. A new path finally found. Sisters of heaven let feathers fly. Brothers' swords low now to the ground. A beautiful heart pines from afar. A new path finally found. In Love, the Dragon and Unicorn are! In universe Out bound energy Where are we when we die?

My Departed Friends

Oh! Those whom I loved and cared that left this world
Enjoying the bliss of heaven when my heart wreaths in pain
Free from anguish and agony and attitudes apathetic and cold
Away from burning sunlight of hatred, ruthlessness and strain

My loving parents and my little sister departed one by one
The infinite mercy of the Creator granted them joy of heaven
For me the luscious trees of love gave way to burning sun
The path of life turned thorn infested, rocky and uneven

The lustful demons of merciless world waiting for me on way
My only weapon, my resolute, indomitable will
With God behind my relentlessness I conquered life in a sway
Lonely nights followed crowded days dreary, dreadful still

Then showered on me God’s sagacious and profound recompense
Through love and compassion my beleaguered soul thrived
On desert of life came the rain-filled clouds of loyalty of friends
Roses bloomed, nightingale sang, life’s elegance revived

But happy days are shorter than the morning dew’s life
You Manzoor, Arif, Marghub,.Nisar, Mehmuda, Ismat, Harry and Jo.
Who were spared the pains of this world of conflicts and strife.
Tranquility of heaven is your destiny, Aftab, Ferreira and Remigio

Your abode has elegant pink shadows and golden sunlight
Fragrant rivers and gardens with flowers of colors unseen
Pebbles of emeralds and rubies present the sight’s delight
Gushing fountains, silvery lakes, hills and valleys ever green

These bounties are rewards of goodness and your virtuous deeds
Your kindness, your compassion, and your illuminated soul
The Creator, most merciful and benevolent gifts beyond one needs
More than lofty aspirations and much beyond your goal.

Happy though I am for you I must still complain
Why you chose to desert me; why you left alone
The leaping flame of loneliness is my destiny again
The path to eternal bliss you took, to me you should have shown

Since First I Saw You

Since first I saw you, it was your eyes,
mesmerizing, your gaze transporting
me to a realm, not of fantasy, real,
where young men go when cupid’s
arrow takes root.

Since first I saw you, it was your lips,
captivating, holding me frozen
in anticipation of our lips brushing
for the first time.

Since first I saw you, it was your voice,
a crescendo, light, invigorating,
each word you speak intensifies
my hearing, enveloping each
note, time ceases as I hang motionless
savoring, memorizing.

Since first I saw you, it was your hair,
long, flowing, gently rising above
your shoulders as a slight breeze
passes through sending waves
of your essence my way.
The sun magnifying each strand,
highlighting the minute
variances of invigorating color,
creating a halo effect, a portrait of
your beauty forever imprinted.

Since first I saw you, It was you,
my love forever more for you,
only you.

Sister -- a poem in 2 parts

            I.

End-Cut Prime Rib of Beef,
Crab-cake, Lobster Tail,
Sea Scallops.

I feel — no — need to,
eat those foods
you asked I get you.

So I scour the internet
for upscale Manhattan
restaurant menus, listing,
first and foremost,
roast prime rib of beef,

confident, if I find that,
the seafood items
will appear on at least one
of them, also.

It’s the Post House,
on East 63rd Street,
that has everything.
And, on this day,
the 1st anniversary
of your death,

I’m eating the foods
you craved, yet, I do not
savor a morsel. But
not to worry, Renee,

for next year, same
date, I’ll try again, and
maybe, just maybe,
I’ll find it easier to enjoy
what you surely would have,

if only I’d realized there was
no time left. No time left,
as I held your hand and
watched American Idol.

while you morphed into what-
ever it is one becomes
at death.

              II.

I muse if Robert Frost
had taken the other road,
would he have moved to
England, where
his poetry was a hit
from the get-go;

would he have remained,
the constant farmer, or
teacher, or journalist
he been, rather than

the bard who'd crafted
the simplest words
into mysterious,
memorable poems;

and the father who
couldn’t prevent
his children’s deaths;

not the husband
who couldn’t keep
his wife from sinking
deep into depression.

Renee, every day, since
your death, I think about
what I could’ve done
and should not have done
as your sister, your twin.

How I’d sat on my laurels
and let you navigate
on your own, with me
never wholeheartedly
trying to steer away
from conflict with you.

Me, who found it too hard
staying involved in that life
of yours. Truth be told,
if I'd seen two diverging roads
to choose from, way back when

— neither the worse for wear,
I would’ve sought you out —
asked you which one you’d take
if you were me, and surely
I’d have taken the other.

Me and My Sister

i mind when i was wee
playing games with my sister

we kept each other free
me and my sister

we loved with all our hearts
protecting each sister

even after having kids
joined each sister

Combining all these things
playing all the games
loving with our hearts
loving each others kids

We are glued, me and my sister!!

Goodbye My Love

After the snowfall but before the lily blossoms, you were this woman who left by choice. All natural decisions made from a place of despair. Darkness consumed you as you fell into an addiction with expressions of deep sorrow and remorse... Step by step by step... Taking steps... Foot by foot by foot... Slower than a run, yet faster than a turtle, closer and closer towards your oblivion... Into mysterious unconsciousness, I whispered... "Goodbye, my love"...as you walked away. After the spring but before the leaves, I found you drained of energy. Completely exhausted into nothingness, and through it all, you still loved me. Seems like yesterday we walked side by side, you..me...the gentle breeze... You need not ask for forgiveness, sweetheart, it has been granted long ago, and before you were gone I already whispered... “Goodbye, my love"...as you walked away. After the sun but before the rain, You tore out the pages from your favorite book. You wrote it at such a tender age. Too young to understand, yet too old to make believe. Big brown eyes, wearing a ball cap on your head. Smiling while hiding and running while crying... I couldn't handle this defeated hopelessness you wore on your sleeves with patches sewn on to cover up the burn holes... I sit at your grave once again. No tears, no laughter, no guilt, I stood up and whispered... “Good bye, my love" as I walked away. ~Date Written: December 2015~

Marble in Columns on Green

On a slope graced with green
White marble stands in proud salute

For beneath these engraved pillars of memory
Lie the resting places of heroes

A solitary green fir looks down
As if sheltering the lost and the taken

So many names, from all walks of life
A father, brother a girlfriend or wife

On a sunny day, they glow radiant like their lives
On a dull day, they stand out against the greys

For the living, life goes on
Tomorrow is another day

My Sister, My Friend

My sister my friend,
Forever to be,
My friend, my sister,
For eternity.

No loss or distance,
Can sever our hearts,
For two joining souls,
Can never part.

With undying love,
And unbending trust,
God saw to it,
That this was a must.

To be together,
Forever you see,
My sister my friend,
For eternity.

Sisters

Close in age they are
Fight at a given chance,
Sitting at opposite ends
While each other they'll glance.

Don't like much seperation
But enjoy some private space,
Life would be so unbearable
If on was gone without a trace.

Shareing their little secrets
Playing some prank or two,
Say to each other leave right now
Alone they are lost as to what to do.

Sister's they will always be
Riverely between them as well,
But no matter what may happen
They love each other one can tell.

Never, Always, Sometimes

NEVER will I stop loving you
It does not matter what you say
You have a place with me to stay
No matter what you ever do
ALWAYS know what I say is true
You do not have to feel the same
You can think it is all a game
SOMETIMES life makes no sense at all
I pray each day that you will call
No questions asked, no one to blame

Fly Away---into the Arms of Jesus

As the day progressed
My brother...
Was in deeep stress
Tis had no other way
But to let him go...
Fly away...
Into the Arms of Jesus

As we let him go..
I felt the Spirit of Peace
Spirit Of Love
Christ Angel came
Took my brother
by the hand
Fly away...
Into the Arms of Jesus

Someday.. in Time
I too... as many others
Shall Fly away
Into the Arms of Jesus

But those whom
have Not yet come to Christ
Please do so.. while your here in this earthly life
For tis be... Whenever your time shall be
Then Eternity
There is No turning back..
Now is the Time
To accept
Jesus Christ into your heart
So.. when tis be..
Your time to depart
From this Earthly world..
You than too.. my brother my sister
Shall Fly away
Into the Arms of Jesus

Red

I think sometimes we are more enemies than friends.
When we scream at each other, I think about how much I hate those dark brown eyes of yours.
Your hair are soft downy feathers that I wish I had.
The way you speak your mind to me is like a river, carrying fish but also debris.
We disagree over the smallest things, neither of us willing to back down and determined to have the last say, no matter how insignificant they are.
Your childish personality often clash with mine.
You don't ask, but my favorite socks will somehow end up on your feet.
I wish I can turn back time to the way we were before.
The two of us were like puppies, playful and inseparable.
I remember our balloons being blown away, sailing up into the blue and beyond.
Hand in hand, we'd walk into school, only letting go when we go our separate ways.
We'd play outside even in the musky, gray fog.
You once defended me like your life depended on it.
I miss those times.
But I love you anyway; even though at times you make me see red.

The Baby Blue Bonnet

The smile on one's face makes them feel glad again
My sister always had a smile to share
Once came time for her birthday,
A handsome boy came to call
And along with him,
A baby blue bonnet that pleased us all.

The smile on her face showed us she was glad
She leaned in a gave a sweet little kiss
Then the Civil War started and he had to go
She would be crying for him.

The bleak war raged on
Many were dead
She was pining for him.

The sheets of casualties came and they left
Many were torn to pieces
My sister dear cried,
"He has died and left me!"
She hugged the dear baby blue bonnet.

The time was bleak when she claimed the body
Sister dear had to wear black
When came the funeral,
She brought with her
The beloved baby blue bonnet

She refused to wear the hideous black hat
"Instead the bonnet!" she cried
For she would remember
The sunny day when,
He gave her the baby blue bonnet.

Sisters

Sisters, by far, are the closest of friends.
Though, at times, their bond may need mends,
they have been together from the start.
Nothing will ever tare them apart!

Whether it be death or life,
gladness or strife,
or war or peace,
their love for one another will never cease.

The memories, the memories, endlessly they flow!
Of times good, bad, or just for them to know.
Sharing struggles, partnering in pain,
laughing, encouraging, singing in the rain.

Constantly, to each other, love they send,
for sisters, truly, are the best of friends.

holokauston Page 1 of 2

Around that table, picture the scene
Self appointed leaders if you know what I mean
What were the topics on the Agenda that day
The Jewish race is about to pay

Who gave the right for this decision that's made
Who has the right to cleanse and degrade
To decide who lived, to decide who dies
Another chapter, I still wonder why

They came in the day they came in the night
Women and children pulled out of sight
Herded aboard like cattle and sheep
Many a family awoke from their sleep

Dazed and confused as they are taken away
Where will they be at the end of the day
From their warm houses and their warm beds
What must be going through their heads

As they travel through days and through the night
Up ahead, they see lots of lights
They depart the trucks and board the train
Their faces scared under the strain

Asking questions from family and others
Generations, sisters and brothers
Why are we here, where are we going
Windowless carriages with no way of knowing

We come to a stop, soldiers aplenty
Towers and wire, topped with sentries
What can this place be they have taken us to
As we head to large gates as they shuffle us through

Families separated, herded in file
Women and children, not one did smile
Taken to rooms where our heads were shaved
Is this the way humans behaved

Clothes discarded, as we enter the shower
No signs of water no signs of power
Doors slammed as we are all crammed in
History will recall this evil of sins

As we stand in the dark, chanting Jewish faith
Can hear the voices can't see the face
Noises above, do the showers start
The event has begun that tells us Humans apart

Questions and sighs, as walled vents show daylight
Some thing is falling then their slammed tight
A strange aroma starts to fill the air
As all around are screams of despair

Twenty minutes have passed and the quietness is rife
Two thousand people, two thousand lives
Pellets called HCN, or Hydrogen Cyanide
Contribute to this Genocide

holokauston Page 2 of 2

After the quiet we all have to go
Dragged and carted by the Sonderkommando
To be dumped in pits covered by lime
A race to dispose by it's Human slime

Auschwitz, Buchenwald & Dachau slaughtered
Many a son, many a daughter
Experiments on children women and men
Some aged 90, many under 10

In 45, their end was near, how many alive would reappear
As Russians, British and US troops
Chased the Hun to their German roots
Each camp reached showed it's sordid past
Where millions of me, were massively gassed

In Auschwitz, to this present day
Birds don't fly, no animals play
The reminder is all for there to see
Those terrible days what happened to me

It's 1948, our Nation is born
From histories past, populations torn
To all who survived I wish you well
And our new born world, called Israel

"I Remember"

I remember the first time,
You came to my house,
All we did was sit on the couch.
We sat and held hands and watched my little sister dance.
I don't know about you,
But I had fun,
Welcome to my life,
It's day number one!
The second day you came,
We sat and we talked,
Then my little brother asked you to go play basketball.
It was dark outside,
And it had just finished raining,
You fell in my pond,
And spent most of the night complaining.
I don't guess I can blame you,
I'd probably feel the same,
If I were soak 'n wet,
On my second "date".
You had to borrow my dad's pants,
which of course were way too small,
Quite frankly I think we both agree,
That they didn't fit at all.
I don't know if all of this you recall,
But on "date" number two,
I had a ball.
Over the next couple of months,
It seemed you had become,
A BIG part of my family,
For you were my first love.
We have a lot of memories,
We had a lot of fun,
But once again I'm only one.
Now that you're free again,
I have one question I'd like to ask...
Is your love for me held within?...
Or do you wish to keep your freedom,
which you finally have at last.

why u lie?

you know how much i love you and you know how much i care why then do you lie to me and act like you dont really care
i tried being the best a person that loveing another can be.
yet you find the time to always tell a lie to me.
yes you break my heart after each and every lie some times its hard for me to hold the tears back so i cry. i try to hold on to what we have but it getting harder by the day for you to continue lie's, i think maybe tomorrow will bring about a change for you not to sneak around and play your little games
but i see that is your nature and you do what you do that why on today i say I'AM THROUGH WITH YOU!

Just Reach

just reach your hand out to the sky
pull your loved ones back to your side

lets get to say one more goodbye
for we never wanted them to go away and die

as now the days and nights lay
in such sweet disguise

so let us once again our lord
stare into their illumating eyes

as we reach out for them
in your broad horizon sky

and get to hold and kiss them
even if their not by our sides

for if this is however feels when we die
then I'd like to be that angel in that sky

so I can just reach out right back
and wipe their tears too from their eyes

Conversation With An Angel

She felt the pain and loss of the gain of a midnight true love’s dream.
No one to blame she left and came and I asked her, “how did it seem?”
“Oh heaven, you mean? It’s beautiful and serene like I thought it would be.
I saw your tears when you said goodbye, and thank you for setting me free.”
I sat in fear, so unclear, she's really here! “Why did you choose to visit me?”

She said softly, “honey, I’m so sorry...I can’t forget the look in your eyes,”
Down on one knee, I beg and plead, “do you regret what you took to my cries?”
She sat and pondered and I sat and wondered, “how could she want to die?”
I stood and wandered, for I was younger but I still needed a reason why.
“I hid right under the bridge from the thunder, no more seasons to try."

I needed assurance, “dear sister, do you ever wish you could take it back?”
She pleaded in endurance, “dear sister, forever it’s been self-love that I lacked.”
I believed her story, she now lives in glory, but to her I must always remind,
“your life was stormy and lived too shortly, don’t forget I always strived to find
a way to rid a soul forlornly, left so sorely, you’ll always be on my mind.”

*True story based on a dream I had
last year of my sister who took her own life*

Invaded by the tribe

Invaded by the tribe

The old station wagon
Pulls to halt in my driveway.
The five children fall out
of its rusted doors
shouting and laughing.
She turns off the noisy engine.
Slips ghostlike from the drivers seat.
Her five hours of driving
In a bedlam of her children’s noise.
Looking so slight and frail.
My heart melts again.
I enfold her in my arms
And whisper thanks for coming.
Even though I have moaned
About her children’s disruptions.
The extra work cooking
And entertaining.
I look into my sisters face
And whisper I love you Sis.
You are always welcome
In my house.
And in my heart

My sister

Remember my words of wisdom today,
For i plead for your sanity to stay,
Being in love means unlimited boundries,
Excruciating pain yet ultimate surrender,
Forgive me for what i am about to say,
Yet a warning i must give you today,
Your friendship to him is important i know,
but his love is unconditional . . . this i don't know,
Beware the facetious tricks he endeavours,
Hark his flooding emotions in turmoil,
Let me not preach your unravelling,
However your plight renders me speechless
His actions belie his each word,
And his perfomances leave me appalled

A prayer for my sister

Dear Lord I come as humble as I may
Asking you to give my little sister strength
That she will need to make it thru the day.
I know the road ahead of her is going to be tuff
give her faith in knowing that in you God she can trust

I know it’s not easy for her and she’s going thru so much
I ask that you give her guidance Lord and let her feel your
Loving touch

I can’t begin to imagine the pain she must feel
But when I look into my sisters eyes the hurt
Is all to real

So Lord I come to you as humble as I may
Asking you to give my little sister strength to make
thru the day

To my little sister on her wedding day...

To my little sister, on her wedding day...
well, what can I say?
As you don't need any help from me,
you have a man who loves you dearly.
But if you ever have a problem - big, or small
you can always give me a call -
although you won't have the same name as me...
my little sister, you'll always be.
