I just want to go home

This incalescent environment lacks in incandescence My cold blood struggles to breathe within this inferno Every day becomes a struggle and I just want to go home I do not belong here and am incongruous to this society An ignorant stranger to their beliefs and their customs They are oblivious to my being and care not to understand I want to go to a place where it rains and the fields are green Where every stranger smiles and everyone knows my name Where my loved ones patiently wait with open arms I long to feel loved again and feel a warm embrace I do not belong here, I just want to go home I long for, my beloved's kiss the eyes of my child my mother's food my fathers strength banter with my friends I count the days to when I will be homeward bound
Return to a place where I belong, a place I can call my home The Silent One 16 September 2015

When You Coming Home

In the middle of my dark black night I feel a kiss upon my cheek a warmth upon my neck hugging me so tight the whisper of your soft sweet voice hand upon my chest fingers running through my hair God, I feel so at rest Your scent lingers in my dreams Your soul floats in my mind Your heart beats inside me Your thoughts are one with mine Tomorrow will you be with me? Will your gentle touches roam? Will the waiting be over? Baby, when you coming home?

Still Loving Her

The dust has all settled I'll go get the broom sweep off the back porch and the old sitting room That wind storm was mighty almost blew me away the foundation was crumbling as the house swung and swayed The timbers were creaking the roof sprung a leak the shutters are broken it really looked bleak The old building survived It's weathered but tough It will stand tall and fight when the going gets rough There's much beauty left in this old home of mine I'll still be loving her till the end of my time

Will You Tie My Shoes When I Grow Old

You were beautiful,
my tiny child,
wrapped tightly in my arms,
close to my heart.
I listened to you breathing.
I counted your fingers
and your toes.
you cried out to me
and I loved you
with every ounce of my soul.

Will you hear me
when I cry out?
Will you hold me close
as I held you then?

I remember the day
You took your first step.
There was no stopping you.
Your feet gave you freedom
to explore the world
like never before
but danger lurked.
I opened those doors anyway,
and introduced
you to the world.
Where will you be
when my legs
no longer run?
no longer work?
Will you realize
that I love
freedom too?

I laugh
about that day
you first tied your shoe.
We tried and tried
to get that rabbit
in that hole
and you finally did it.
You pointed your toes
for everyone to see
how proud you were.

I am proud too,
of my writing
and my drawing,
of my needlework
and my cooking.
But my hands are beginning to ache
and my fingers will not bend.
I will lose the things
that make me proud
except for you.
Hopefully not you.
Will you let me
brag on you?
Even tell wild stories
that are a bit beyond the truth?
Will you be proud of me too?

I waved good-bye
that morning when you left
on that large, yellow bus.
I was so scared.
I know you were too.
You waved at me bravely
through the dusty window
but I saw the water
forming in your eyes.
You came home, however,
full of pride and joy.
You sang the alphabet song
and got most of it right.
You practiced for hours
until you could sing it
even in your sleep.

I'm afraid.
I forgot
whether I took
my pills today or not.
I forgot
if I told this story before.
I even forgot once
who you were
and it terrified me.
My mind
is my treasure
the only thing I have left,
and I heard you make
fun of me
for not remembering
that I gave you the
same gift as last year.
Will you love me
when I no longer
know who I am?

You came home blushing
from the glow of
your first kiss.
Your first love,
the one you thought was real.
You talked about him non-stop.
You changed for him. You gave.
But he left you anyway
for a blue-eyed girl
and I held you
while you cried for him.

I too have a
broken heart.
The love of my life
left me after
fifty-six years.
He left me here
to live life on my own
while he moved on
to another realm
And I cry for him too.
I long for his shoulder
and strong embrace.
I feel betrayed
because he and I
made a deal
that we would never
leave the other alone.
Yet I am alone
sitting in an echoing house
with no hands to hold.

You welcomed her home today-
your tiny baby girl.
She has your eyes
and possibly your toes.
I see you counting them
as they roll me
into the room.
You finally came
to visit.
It has been a while.

You look up at me
with tears in your eyes
and ask
almost desperately,

"Will she tie my
when I get old? "

As Souls Like Stars bursting in air
As Jesus comes.. Like.. through the Night

Blue sky eastward kisses a glistening green sea,
Golden sand stretches endlessly on before me.
Cry’s of gulls and sounds of waves gently rolling,
Promise a day filled with people slowly strolling.
Up and down that golden strand they walk,
Carrying towels, sometimes pausing to talk.

Grey blue mist covers mountains in the west,
Cliffs and streams, in nature it is blessed.
Fires scorch the land in the summer’s heat,
In winters watch, comes the Snow and sleet.
Always the cycle goes on, death and rebirth,
For this sunburnt land is the oldest on earth.

Southern pastures carpeted in lush green,
Everywhere Sheep and cattle can be seen.
Slowly the settlers tamed the harsh land,
Shaped it and carved it with their bare hand.
Barley and golden wheat sheath the soil,
Against this hard land farmers strive and toil.

Small coves and beaches to the north abound,
Silent and deserted for most the year round.
Summer arrives and the city rises to the call,
Time for the people to forget works thrall.
They fill the resorts and small county towns,
Parents and children, joyous are their sounds.

Some call Australia a continent some an Isle,
It is the land that always makes me smile.
There are many cities rising into the sky,
The beauty of the bush can make you cry.
From coast to coast, from desert to snow,
It is the home from which I will never go!

Mother -- Come Home

Sitting with her now
How did she get so old?
How did I get so old?
So many pills
Green, blue, white, red, yellow, orange
All kinds of shapes
Round, oval, oblong – big and small
A tackle box with markings
       Monday through Sunday

We talk and laugh . . . then
       A knock on the door!
I’ll get it
A police officer – young, clean shaven
As I open the door
      I jokingly yell . . . He’s here to arrest you mom!
Sir, I do need to speak with your mother. . .
      What, Oh . . . come in

Mrs. Meade, did you hit another car?
Her face showed confusion, concern . . . fear
With a trembling voice . . . No officer, I dd i d not
I followed the young man to the garage
A scrape, red paint, a missing mirror
     My heart sank
Thinking to myself – is she lying?
Or does she not realize what she has done?
Does it matter?
     The time has come . . .

As I hug this frail old woman
Shoulders shaking, tears soaking my shirt
I whisper in her ear
    Do not fear . . . everything will be OK . . . . I love you
Standing there I realized
    Our roles had changed
Come my darling
It is time for you to live with us
Happy Mother’s day
    I do love you!

I'll Be Home For Christmas

I'll be home for Christmas home is where you are It's where fluttering flakes fall like stars on my face It's where the scarlet bird sings and a yuletide shrub sways It's where these arms get wrapped in your tinselled embrace It's where the mistletoe waits for kisses to exchange in the old doorway's shade. I'll be home for Christmas home is where you are Its where a stocking gets filled from a candle bazaar Its where the dough gets baked in molds of two heart shapes to be placed in one cookie jar I'll be home for Christmas home is where you are It's where carols are sung to the beat of the drum It's where lights are strung around our front porch posts It's where endless stories of our childhood are told It's where dreams are made where my love for you grows I'll be home for Christmas home is where you are It's the butterflies inside when you look in my eyes It's the smile on your face when we all sit down to eat the meal you just made I'll be home for Christmas home is where you are and wherever you are it is never too far for these feet to walk streets for this love to come flooding your heart.

Welcome Home

Waiting, I'm patiently waiting for
your ship to sail on back to shore
Time standing still, does it even exist
It's been too long since we once kissed

Your scent on my pillow fading away
Wishing and hoping you were here this day
I lay in the darkness thinking of you
and of the day all of our dreams come true

Sounds of footsteps creaking on the pine floor
Gentle knocking upon my bedroom door
Visions of beauty, visions so clear
My meaning, my whole has finally appeared

Crawl into my arms, crawl into my heart
Our two lives together, no longer apart

Home Of My Spirit

Like lone wolves in the night
              you and I….
that through the darkness
we still hunger for justice
and for truth in all things

We want harmony
              and enlightenment
To find ourselves
at peace… one within….

Capture the green
Feel it swirl and beckon
Verdant and healing
Complete forgiveness
Absolution from the guilt
and from the memories

Release and breathe
          Let it flow……

Yes, you and I are connected
Through the regret and remorse
We search and we find light

On a path to illumination
for teaching and learning
and understanding

Love……pure and true

Acceptance of self
results in balance
                 and expansion
Being at one with Gaia
       (and her precious gifts)

Achieving planetary consciousness

Us…..we have found
true ability to connect
to the soul of another

True augmentation of self

A home in the higher dimensions
A place that is safe to sleep

Let us dance, my love
My lone wolf…
Let us connect through spirit
(We have shed the black)
Through touch
                  and heart

Be mine in all things
Forever and always

You are my HEART

My Valentine

With the work day over I'm approaching home to the warmth and comfort I've come to know My heart starts racing I sense you near I feel my tension disappear The aroma of homemade stew greets me along with your amorous smile We reacquaint with a long slow kiss I think I might just stay awhile Your eyes light up like the morning sun My heart tells me you are the one A little dinner then cuddling by the fire Romance, passion, our love rings true No need to seek paradise because I have you

Forever Home

That big Christmas surprise
that look in the little girls eyes
So playful and young
could do no wrong
constant hugs and kisses
sad eyes I sure do miss us

Left alone when you went to school
The smell of you in that leather shoe
drank to much water
sorry I couldn't wait for you

The pain in that big old boot
What had I done to you?
Why are you holding me
in that big wet spot of pee?
Locked in this little room
no lights no food
I just want to play with you

Finally let out so happy to see you
Jump up and try to kiss you
just get pushed down yelled at
Why did you raise your fist?
I only wanted a playful kiss
where are those hugs and kisses?
sad eyes I sure do miss us

Lonely days and nights
locked up and chained
I bark only to say hello
you hit me throw me in that hole
why won't you play with me?
I love you cant you see

A ride out to that farm
You told her "he'll love it it'll be great"
she cries and runs to her room
you grab my collar and take me away
I just want your hugs and kisses
sad eyes I sure do miss us

Frightened and all alone
wandering trying to find home
Shivering and hungry in the rain
Life will never be the same
What did I ever do to you?
Was it wrong for loving you?

Picked up by a strange old man
thrown in the back of a white panel van
given shelter, water and food
first time I ever heard I was good
give me hugs and kisses but I'm scared
you will only hit me and disappear

Assured I will go to a good home
a great place I can run free and roam
there will be love and laughter and cheer
and that person I never will fear
there will be walks and plenty of games
life as I know won't be the same

I knew it the day she walked in
Soft caring eyes and a beautiful grin
She bent down and petted my fur
I could feel it was going to be her
took me home and captured my heart
from that day forward we would never depart

Going to lick every inch of her loving face
because God gave me you by His good grace
so give me all of your hugs and your kisses
I'm finally home no more ever will I miss us

That Bullet Was For You

While walking through a hospital one day, a veteran I did see
He was in a wheelchair with both legs missing, and he did it for you and me.

I turned around a corner and down another hall
Only for my eyes to behold a family who has lost it all

A five year old cried out,"Why did daddy have to die?"
The mother held her son closer while she greived and began to cry

The mother of that young Marine, who had fought over in Iraqu
Wandered why her son so brave, didn't survive the enemie's attack

The father of that soldier, hung his head to cry
He was a retired soldier himself, why couldn't he have been the one to die?

His heart broken sister, sits in shock and tries to deny
The death of her older brother, he was killed and don't know why

A few days later, a family, everybody all dressed in black
Went to the funeral of a twenty-five year old who too our bullet in Iraq

The Bible says "thou shalt not kill." and "Love your neighbor" too
Maybe our soldiers aren't doing what's right, but they still take your bullet for you

They sleep in foxholes, and eat in trenches, and do all that they know to do
They rest in the sand with no comforts of home and they take your bullet for you

The restless nights turn into days, you wouldn't believe all they go through
THe rest of us sit at home and gripe, and still they take your bullet for you

The next time you hear a 21 gun salute, don't condemn as others do
The next time the taps are being played, remember, they took that bullet for you.

Thanks, Veterans for your sacrifice.

Don't Let Right Become Wrong

She is always right and he is never wrong,
Neither willing to concede and the anger rolls right along.
Finding each others faults as they fuel this awful flame,
Both claiming victory when neither will accept the blame.

With clinched jaws and fingers pointing,
Their words so damning, so hurtful, and so taunting.
Then it reaches its fiery crescendo,
Then neither one knows what to do or how to let go.

What had happened, it wasn’t always like this,
They used to hold hands and share a frequent kiss.
Then something bad happened, almost overnight,
Seems now they cannot speak to each other without it turning into a fight.

Little things started escalating and devouring their heart,
With no common grounds for reasoning maybe it would be best if they should part.
She said I’ll take our children and go stay for awhile with mom and dad,
Then it finally hit him he was about to lose the best thing he ever had.

It finally happened like someone turned on a light,
He said I’ve been a fool and I never again want us to fight.
He said I had a vision of living in this cold dark and lonely home alone.
And I didn’t like the picture, you’re the only love I’ve ever known.

Now they both got refocused and once more it is a home filled with love,
And now neither will let a push become a shove.

No ones home

No ones home

I won't say a word
Just tell me what I want to know
Has this love of ours grown cold ?
Long days longer nights
We don't talk , so never fight
Another end to another day
More words we never say
I lay here empty , my arms feel numb
You play not knowing , this us , we've become
Just stone walking , together but alone
A full house .... but no ones home

A mother's treasures

A solitary piece the diamond
precious rare gem most treasured
by those lucky enough to hold
Once in possession it is rarely out of grasp
Like the gemstone the mother
requires very specific conditions
in holding fast her (family/) childrens love
Treasured forever in her heart
she will go out of her way
to preen and protect them
holding them dear to her
deep within her maternal safe – the heart
closely guarded by the mind
Her infatuation of all treasures to her
are totally understandable
especially when you think to the complexity
of structure and process taken in creation
Just as from the ‘unbreakable’ in ancient greek
this alletrope of carbon
with strength of bonding between atoms
is representative of that strong love
between mum and child
The maternal being could be compared
to the superlative physical qualities of the stone
Even the characteristic luster
of this gem so prevaient from its ability
to disperse light and colour
compared to the many strengths, roles and qualities
of the mother
seen by the many she deals with daily
A most high pressured job
versus the high pressured temperature
within the Earths mantle
that forms the delightful rock it gives birth to
Infants delight and ignite the forbearer
just as the jewel would dazzle the room
a mother’s love encaptures the magical luster
of those she’s birthed and nothing
stands inbetween this richest of cargo’s

he is leaving home

In great respect of the band I grew up listening to
as sure as Mom passed down Saturday Chores
for I had been chosen to scrub bathroom floors `

Yet a familiar sound would bring me to keep scrubbing
The red album, The blue album , The White album
Then .. Abbey Road , always remembering the sad look on
Ringo's face , something hard to understand underneath~
I get it now, what you were saying all those years ago ,
the many sad lonely tears , secret tears , secret fears
For Maxwell's Hammer was a real one . It wanted silence

Going back ..remembering when John Lennon died
I was in Arkansas saddened with the world .
Then seeing his face saying " Drag isn't it "
No .. this was not my hero in music and song .

he was a stand in hired William , he filled his shoes
bringing diversity to create so much beautiful music from loss

One left standing , alone;; grief struck on back cover ~
The other identity hidden, tried to be part of ..coming together
                            his world of secrets
He to suffers today , in fear , Faul~
Too many years gone by .let us tell the Truth. Let us be free
The very sad long and winding Road ~
Let us Bury our real Paul.

No more " Mystery tour "
                             No more fear
Let him be in peace ~

Eat Pray Love

On the edge
of the evacuation zone
Miyuki holds her daughter
tip-toeing in pink sneakers
her small hands fragile
blossoms opening
to the man with the beeping wand

They were outside in the karesansui
washing and raking
rocks, when the school
heaved, convulsed
then pressed into silence
voices rising inside

So now they wait with strangers
in ordered lines of sorrow
for bread and drinking water
as an adolescent, eyes downcast
sees the small pink laces and
offers up his only ration
of precious onigiri

Hooded and white masked they walk
three days and bed-less nights toward
Ishinomaki by the ocean
to family, friends, and home forever

The landscape jumbles unfamiliar
with plastic wreckage
and automobiles
detritus flooded in a field
where Japonica once grew
while moon-suited men
and women gather
albums for the living

And after sunset Miyuki moves
her little girl away
from a white-taped blue-bagged
lifeless form
toward the humming black-robed Monk, his
prayers for light
and workers burned
exposed to radiation ten
thousand times too high

And in the shadows one old man kneels
beside a fetid pool and scoops
rice to carry back to neighbours
moved to higher ground, un-opens
one last bottled spirit
bows his head and offers
Miyuki and her first and only
everything he has

At last they reach the shelter’s glow
beneath the starless robe of night
not used to wearing
shoes indoors
Miyuki helps her daughter fold
sheets of painful news into
an origami box to hold
her last and only pair

And in the morning as they face
the stretch of road for home
to unknown love and losses there
they turn and gaze toward the east
awaiting still
spring’s warming breeze
to rise with brilliant red once more
new light of wondrous dawn

'karesansui' is a Japanese rock garden or 'dry landscape'. Rocks are often washed.
'onigiri' is the emergency rice being distributed to survivors in Japan.
'Japonica' is a type of (short-grained) Japanese rice.

Memories on Branches

How did a cherry kiss? Bitter flower petals with sweet pistils.
So laden they act as halos while we breathe the love
in a pink hollow, silence sounding like taste, acting like epistle
to hold this moment in a silvery image, like moon, or dove
low, low, a bowl formed while sunshine flickers above.

Chains of yellow petals hang over our deck, the leaves hands--
offer welcome resting branch, our sheltered home.
Seeds follow close, fragile like beans, hard case to feed the land
crawl before God, they say, be grateful as we weed and stir loam.
Together seeds and flowers and hands make a life a poem.

Awaiting the sumac, the flame at summer's ending is fruitless
we've passed the feathering, the pimping of red underneath bristle
the deer horn softness crawling out in oddest places in a mess
lining the sand pond, above the purpled iris, the pestle
of stone and sun, no rain to bring down sumac's fiery trestle.

Vulturous crows squawk and fight the ring-billed sea gulls
waiting, one in the bared hollow hands of the cottonwood
the other fat-bellied and waddling after rain finally dulls
we're under hoodies, under shivers, our neighborhood
waits the pinking and mossing, will it unfurl new wood?

A Blessed Year

    "A Blessed Year"

in the Year of 2012 our reflection
reminded how truly blessed
our family felt with strong emotion.
a new home with lovely trees
and blossoming bushes flourished
green grass for animals to enjoy
beautiful birds singing melodies
acres of ground for gatherings
and celebrations.

happiness surrounded new parents
my military son and his wife
welcomed new baby boy with
pride and joy and love.
God has given us so many reasons
to cherish each other and Life
for love rules our home always.

through sickness and death
we fought the good fight of faith
and trials made us a strong family
material possessions allow feelings
of importance ... but ...
we learned that love is the
key element to this earthly existence.

so in the Year of 2012
we share this love with everyone
thus extolling God, who loves us all

atop your hearth my soul doth rest
away from fear that grips the best

like ships at dock you gently tend
to aches and pains your love will mend

when evening falls you bathe your light
on loved ones gathered, hearts held tight

as daylight breaks, you conjure smiles
our travels filled with love for miles

and like majestic oaks that cast
your acorns nourish dreams that last

Home, Sweet Home

If you lose yourself in this great big world
  Where you gonna end up?
How you gonna find your way back home?
There are signs around just try to see them
Then you'll find your way back home.
Look into the eyes of a new born babe
  Stare nature in its face
Look into the mirror and see who's there
Do you reflect the face of love?
That will be your guide to the way
Back home, God loves you still
  He'll guide you back home
To those who love you still.
Just be kind to yourself, love yourself.
Then you'll find your way back home.

Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home

The time I spend with you are golden hours,
Each day from work to meet your poppy kiss.
Crystal vases full of fragrant flowers,
That smell of fresh baked bread just brings me bliss.
Here we both share the love that we call ours,
From strength to strength as we all fear dismiss,
whilst fun and laughter reign under our dome,
Nothing beats the feeling of home sweet home.

Average Age 19

Once again, the powers that must
In rise again in what we trust
An overseas conflict, another war
Just what in the hell are we fighting for

Families are asking, Korea has just passed
Generations again reft, how long will it last
A country in need, to rebuild again
Flags at half mast, in wind and rain strain

Once again into war, sent by the Washington Post
To send back reports to hit home the most
Military observers were the first to be sent in
Another chapter of man entering existing sin

I'm witnessing our ariel power, Lam Son 719
US planners determine their incursion, saying all will be fine
Along the Mekong River, we'll carpet bomb their supply trail
Tons of munitions and napalm, this spread surely cannot fail

Many sorties are being flown, for the wounded and the dead
Whilst Nixon and his cronies, aren't thinking with their heads
The news of losses has reached me, nineteen have been killed
Eleven missing, fifty nine wounded, more American blood spilled

Seven fixed wing aircraft, more sons in action loss
Whilst back at home more protests, fading the dyeing's gloss
To to this job that I do, I was never prepared for this
To witness such bloody scenes, and ignore that life is bliss

How can I write about a soldier, whose name I'll never know
Killed at nineteen years old, his family he'll never see grow
Or even explain to his parents, when carried from the AH-1
His body bullet riddled and limp, when lifted it bloodily run

I never went back to the theatre, called the Vietnam War
Having witnessed the wanton killing, what were we fighting for
This colonial conflict that started, us on the side of France
So many came back as strangers, many to live in trance

Nippy air bites the skin, sunlight trails off in a sky so morose;
bare trees contemplate the yellow grass below mourning their lost splendor;
be that messenger of the Season's Greetings and avoid being sad and alone...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

Assist me in decorating the pine-scented and candle-lit rooms ,
of my lair; please, come in and accept my hospitality with ardor;
let's chat over dinner and sparkling wine until darkness looms...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

Anticipate the thrill of the Holidays with a big smile spreading cheer:
dream of snow, of Santa riding his sleigh from the cold North Pole;
he'll remember every good kid who has shown obedience and grace...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

I looked for a Christmas Tree crossing the snowy boardline,
searching the nearest forest for the tallest, prittiest one
with the help of neighbors who had a good will and no fear...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of year!

So much I will share and learn this Holiday Season announcing a divine birth
to the Earth below brightened by candles, twinkling lights and mirth;
admire my decorations of garlands and golden bells to make you merrier...
welcome to my Holiday home at this very special time of year!

Family, friends and neighbors gather around this fireplace that will bewilder us,
let's remember the wonderful birth of our Savior Jesus, who came to visit us;
hear the song of the angels echoing through the chilly air...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of year!

Bring my love home

She's dying over and
From the insanity of
the missing
The heart will
Though I wouldn't
dare say this
At the sky she
She says life must
go on
I must go on
she says

I don't want to be
without him
As she opens the
second bottle of
If I'd had a choice
I'd of gone with him
But I'd never wish
for him to ever feel

This crushing
Not for a instance

In the night she
thinks I'm sleeping
But I hear

Dear God
I was wondering if I
could have a moment
of your time ?
I know your a busy
bloke and that,
your tired with all
these voices
shouting up at you,
I would be too.
But I thought I'd
give it a go.
I know your the
universal spirit and
there's lots on
your mind,
so I tell you what
I'll talk and you
can just listen,
give me your views
at the end.

I was wondering if
you've looked in on
me lately
See God
I'm feeling
incredibly unhappy,
Distraught you could
miserably alone.
I know there's
millions, probably
I don't know the
but no matter.
I know there's
other's wanting your
The people dying
from cancer or
The African village
women screaming for
you to stop the men
taking their kids,
Putting them on
smack to fight there
twisted gorilla
Our boys in
Afghanistan getting
maimed and

So firstly I was
wondering if it's
normal to feel this
way ?
You see I think of
him so much he
enters my dreams as
soon as I close my
Is this your doing ?
Tell me what I have
to do to stop this
Tell me when I reach
the other side I'll
still be me,
Tell me it's ok to
still cry silently,
 without even
Tell me how to stop
the tears,
Tell me, if this
ache in my chest
Tell me, I'm
standing this pain
to be with him
Go on tell me ??!!!

I'm so alone I bet
you got all the
Angels up there
keeping you company,

Hay I thought they
were supposed to be
down here looking
after us ?
Point is, the real
point is
You got something of
mine and I want it

I'm not blaming you,
well I am sort of,
I think your a
really good bloke
but took too much
We all do it now and
then don't we.
I mean the church
wrote your book
didn't it,
It's really down to
Matthew , Mark ,
Luke, and John,
you should really
send them boys down
I know a lot of
people who want a
word with them.
They're responsible
for war,
Famine and mass
Because be honest
all wars start at
religion one way or
another don't they.

I'm Sorry I've gone
off track,
What I was saying
my dad told me if
he'd of died when he
got kidney failure
It's God's will.
Well if it's your
Do me a favour and
send my husband back

I wasn't finished
with him yet.

And if you can't do
Tell him something
for me,
Tell him I love him,
But lie, say I'm ok.
Say I'm getting by,
I got sleeping
tablets off the doc,
Say I'm almost
Not to worry.
Tell him I'm rushing
towards death for
That I've stocked up
on vodka.
God, tell him I'll
be there soon.

Approvals I Should Praise

Approvals I Should Praise

The rhythm of my pen knows no bounds
Its ticks, treks, and steps knows no count.
The songs on my lip just loose the count.
No where, I suppose to untie the bond.

Strong bones are so much in here
They touch and squeeze out letters bountifully.
In these bones, many light I have received gracefully.
Linda is one, Andrea is two among all of you there.

You are all amazing guests in this field
Cup of water..., cup of tea come to toast.
Many hugs, many thanks to you, writ and host.
... Eden that crowns my garden and its yields.

Special parcel to my coy mistress, Linda.
All sea, roses...and sweet showers to you.
And my lady Andrea; always brand new!
I love you all... your words in my wall are tender.

Dedicated to:
Poet Destroyer A,
Andrea Dietrich
and to the rest of Poetrysoupers.

I am Grateful for your warm welcome.
