the skeleton tree

i am the skeleton tree
bare branches where leaves
are suppose to be
i am the skeleton tree
bare bones and no flesh
not another me
i am the skeleton tree
thousands of ancesters
but not one child for me
i am the skeleton tree
the end of my fathers name
and so called legacy

yet i sing a song
like there is nothing wrong
and being last doesn't matter
and yet i've writen a verse
that many will rehurse
when one day my poetry matters
and when i die
who knows who will cry
i'll just be dead and gone
but the skeleton tree
that once was me
will live on in eternity
the skeleton tree
that one could read
and ponder possibilities
a skeleton tree
that one could recite
tell the difference between wrong and right
a skeleton tree
with branches and no leaves
yet and still the best of me
a skeleton tree
in this world i leave

Whispered Into The Air

I admire the tree in silence.
The way it clings to the rock
And works its way down into the river
Down into the earth.
I think about the knowledge of man.
All the things that men have told me
about the tree – about botany or biology.
They have said this
They have said that
Words whispered into the air and gone in time.
Knowledge is worthless in comparison to beauty
This tree is magnificent
And that is enough for me.

The Killing Tree Part 2

Here is part two, thanks for finishing it

Still in his hand his sword a shining
Struck quickly through the tendrils twining
To free his foot with speed a blinding

He fell upon the ground and leapt
beyond the branches' claw
Grabbed from his waist the pouch that kept
his magic ring to draw

So placed around his finger long
The nether world he breached
With power from a heart that's strong
to Lilith's form he reached

That's when he saw her body glowing
the holy light his eyes to showing
The weakness in the branches blowing

For within the tree he saw the face
a mask alive with dread
And swung his sword to strike that place
and sever off its head

Its eerie scream cut through the night
a most unholy sound
And in its haste to join the fight
dropped Lilith to the ground

So through the night the battle staging
As in a dance his war was waging
'gainst evil now his sword was raging

Now evil's strength is in the dark
and weakens with the sun
The trees retreat into the park
soon broke into a run

The stranger leapt into its path
to make it stand and fight
The tree screamed out its mighty wrath
to see the morning light

By light of dawn its spell was breaking
Into the earth its roots were taking
A mortal tree the stranger making

Now death came to the tree that morn'
a triumph over fear
But children heed this tale to warn
that evil's always near

For Lilith and the stranger won
because their hearts were true
Would they have seen the morning sun
if either had been you

So go to bed your faith a keeping
and know that evil out there creeping
won't come to you while you are sleeping

WHAT IS BEING

Of nice
Of growing
Of grass and knowing
Of trees and green things
Of TRESSES that flow.
Of knowledge that's both of wisdom and growth

That some existances are known of wisdom are meant for the mind and
Other KNOWING was meant for a different kind. There is a knowing we
Do not understand.

Being of feeling
Being of KINGS when
Being is knowing
Being is being is being
Being have more than meaning
Being is thinking

Real thinking is linked in to those who have light of life is right.
Being is beginning LOOK THERE beginning has begun. Of clear CONSCIOUSNESS.
FOCUS ON ONE.
Open books have knowledge. Open the mind obtain wisdom.

Why aren't we happy

Why aren’t we happy?

What is it in the most of us?
We are not how we should be
We should be like a singing bird
Who boldly, in the trees
Sings his song when fear is done
His life just flows along
He only knows the dance of life
So he just sings his song.

And yet we humans live our lives
Enfolded in our fears
Glorifying in the sad
And making this quite clear
As we always speak of doom and gloom
And watch it on TV
And always live our lives in fear
Is this the way it should be?

If only each would take a look
And see just what we be
We never see the flowers grow
Or let our hearts be free
Maybe it’s time to see the truth
Of what this life could be
If we look at life without the fear
And live with mystery.

Beyond My Mind

Blue or green? The color of the sea, Going up and down the waves, To be my unexpected mood, Sweet or sour the feeling of me. The question of my mind hitting it through the divine, The passion of art inside a deep mind, With full of imaginations, Hitting me through left and right. Perspective comes along with me, Seeing it in my mind, Looking at the blank paper, My emotions run down the pages, Forgetting my visions along, Looking down on paper, Loosing my focus , Is getting hard to draw. Speaking with my wild heart wide open, Thinking of the world we live in today, Standing amongst the people not knowing what to say, Hearing the music flowing into my ears, Beating myself inside these walls of hate, Wanting my eyes to cry with full of tears, Hating to be on this earth, Seeing people fade away, Sinking through lies in my face, Stabbing me in the back when I need them the most, Seeing people with unwanted faith through their eyes, Anger comes my way, Looking down at the world with full of questions in my head, Going crazy with frustration and confusion of me questioning God, Deep inside my heart is burning with poison, Is breaking me apart like glass, At peace without a path in mind, Falling down somewhere here that I never belong, I'm not perfect yet, I like to lead not to follow others. Life is like a tree that grows inside me, Leafs on the tree come and go like people in my life, Taking the road of life, Things can change in a minute, When I look away, My goals would fade away, Going back letting noting stand on my way, Trying harder to focus on my goals, Looking around with a smile on, Reaching my goals slowly without a distraction.

The Gift

The tree outside the window was bare,
its branches black thrust through the air,
like a nightmare in daylight lingers,
its branches resembled evil fingers.

The sky behind was stony gray,
it looked like it might rain that day,
I briefly wondered why I'd woke,
sat up in bed and lit a smoke.

So quiet is it by the lake!
My ears felt hollow, began to ache,
a city girl, I'm used to sound,
the ambient noise of a busy town.

What if I'd turned the TV on,
would the vacuum inside the room be gone?
The cat, I noted, was fast asleep,
a lump beneath the quilts and sheet.

I glanced again at the blank TV,
then looked once more at the skeletal tree,
it seemed to sigh as if forlorn,
just waiting for Spring to be reborn.

For a moment, I just sat and stared,
the sky so gray, the tree so bare,
stark silhouette of black on gray,
the tomb-like silence where I lay.

These turned my mind to darker things,
my boring job, the fatigue it brings,
scattered off-days wasted sleeping,
life-force through my fingers seeping.

Sleep all day and work all night,
wonder if there's an end in sight,
keep a brave face so they won't see
how this schedule's killing me.

Just then I saw a flash of red,
though depressed, I raised my head,
A cardinal sat and cocked his head,
the black, the gray, the brilliant red.

I see the beauty in the starkness,
a flash of hope among the darkness,
this perfect scene a gift to me,
the genius, its simplicity.

And as I felt my depression lift,
God granted me another gift.
He knew just how to ease my woes,
before my eyes, it began to snow.

It's snowed so rarely in my life,
each memory's sharper than a knife,
the cardinal flutters in the tree,
and shakes me from my reverie.

The magic of life is quiet and subtle,
the bud of a rose, a mirror-like puddle,
the magic is there if you let yourself see,
like the snow swirling 'round the bird in the tree.

LEARN FROM A TREE

When you pluck a flower, the tree remains silent When you remove a leaf, it reposes to relent

When you climb over, it shields When you sever a branch, it yields

When you harvest the fruits, it doesn’t demur When you cut a portion, it doesn’t murmur

When you replant, it don’t quit When you cut the whole tree, it is quiet

For the tree treats you, as its’ master! So your needs, happily it does cater!!

By silence, it symbolizes surrender It silently shows a noble order

The tree, to its’ master, contently admit Like the tree, to your Master, learn to solemnly submit!

Trimming the Tree

TRIMMING THE TREE

Once a year across the land
A festive time is carefully planned
Part of this time just has to be
The anticipation of trimming the tree

It's always fun to shop and choose
Exactly the tree you wish to use
You take it home and once it's there
You decorate it with loving care

Special ornaments bring great delight
When placed on the tree to reflect the light
Each handmade by a tiny tot
Placed on the tree in a special spot

Kept and cared for all these years
Now hung with memories that bring on tears
You think of Christmases long since past
And marvel that time can move so fast

Those tiny tots now grown and gone
Will soon have children of their own
To teach how special it can be
When the time has come to trim the tree

Wildflowers

Standing out in a field alone, a little white flower named Daisy longed for someone to share her world.
One day a blue flower named Bachelor Button entered her world they became friends.
She knew by his name that he was not the propagating kind, but that didn’t stop their relationship she called him BB short for best bud.
The seasons of Spring & Summer they enjoyed the sun, laughed in the rain and held on fast in the Fall.
Winter came it was long and hard they were both covered in a blanket of snow, not knowing whether they would ever see each other again or even survive .The snow fell then came the ice, this went on for months.

The Sun shone brightly the first day of spring. A few days later warmth of the sun melted the snow, Daisy popped up .
I’ve been waiting days for you to come out, said BB, they both chanted hooray!
The snow was completely gone in a few days, the birds started building their nests , bugs were crawling around ,butterflies began to visit the two flowers. I wish there were more of us Daisy said, to BB.

They laughed as the sun and wind blew through their leaves. Then it started the sun and rain took turns until one morning the air & field was filled with the smell of flowers.

Daisy and BB looked at each other and asked what kind of flowers are these ? they’re not white like daisies they’re not blue like bachelor buttons. They did not know the birds and bugs carried the seeds from the two of them and the caterpillars buried them under the soil.
The seeds from the new flowers were then carried by the winds many miles away, they landed in fertilized gardens and flourished, although they faced danger everyday.
as they were called WEEDS ..
The Gardener pulls weeds out of the garden so they don’t choke the flowers, which cost a lot of money and require lots of maintenance.

However there was a Gardener who saw her friends spending hours weeding their garden , that they didn’t have enough time to admire and enjoy the labors of their love
So she set out to give a home to all the weeds ,she provided a place where they could fit in and multiply, they required no maintenance, rain provides their water .

The best part of all is their beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ask my granddaughter-- What are those flowers in the garden ?
She will answer "WILDFLOWERS " their parents were Daisy and BB

THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Beneath my bark is a whisper stilled in silence,
Scrolled within my rings of age, is a wish waiting
To be answered.
A timeless spark, infused engrain's of wooden pulp,
Legacies promise sense before my birth’s germination,
My special reason for existence.
Warmed by the sun’s rays, cradled by Mother Nature’s
Loving embrace, I’ve grown in the shadows of my elders,
My brethren of the forest wilds.
Tenderly a sprout grew forth, within me a secret kept
Unto myself alone, happily watching the world passes
Ideally by, as seasons changed from spring, to summer,
Yielding unto fall, then covered beneath
Blankets of chilling white.
I fear not the slicing of the human ax, or mourn
For having to leave thy native soil rich and warm,
For my life’s secret is coming true you see,
Mine inner Gift is to be a Christmas tree.
Blazing chains of sparkling lights shall grace
My branches of evergreen, as trims silvery tinsel
Hangs from my strong timbered limbs, that
Shine in the glowing warmth of this magical
Holiday called Christmas.
Crowning from above, admiration's highest branch
Lies a sacred symbol of ages eon’s long ago passed
A brilliant star of opulence, twinkling in the twilight’s
After glow of this special season.
Its eternal light weaves its mystical rays through my
Thick branches of pine, casting a shining upon the
Manjor hidden underneath, behold the greatest gift
Ever given, a simple child of the everlasting spirit.
Beneath my bark is a whisper stilled in silence,
Scrolled within my rings of age, is a wish waiting
To be answered.
A timeless spark, infused engrain's of wooden pulp,
Legacies promise sense before my birth’s germination,
My special reason for existence.

Letting my eyes look within

Letting my eyes look within

‘I am here, I am me’ I state every day
Though I play with the words just a bit
yet always the message it be just the same
There really is no doubt about it
I am trying to enter the essence of me
I’m letting my eyes look within
I go to my center and look at my source
That space far away from the din.

Been doing this thing for just gone four years
And I’m feeling the changes that come
My mind be more mellow, and life feels real good
And the anger, it seems has gone dumb
Little things that mattered don’t matter no more
I care not who’s wrong or who’s right
I look at my me ness and find me the force
Of all of life’s wondrous delight.

I am here, I am me, these words I do state
And this it be my daily song
As I let the mind seek the source of itself
And feel myself truly belong
To the stars and the trees and the whole Universe
As I realize, everything’s me
I just want to be Mr natural man
I just want my mind to be free.

Can You See The Cookie Tree

I was walking in the park last week,
when to me, a young boy did speak.
'Excuse me mister can you tell me,
where can I find a cookie tree?
I know that there are some in here,
and I've been told that they are near,
yes, before I was the age of three,
I knew all about the cookie tree!
I've never seen one yet, although,
they're definitely here, yes this I know,
as from a very young age they've told me so,
that cookie trees in this park grow.
So come on mister, tell me please,
where in this park are the cookie trees?
I have to find them before I'm old,
and they're definitely here, because I've been told.'

I answered him in the following way.
'Since I was young I've come to play,
and wander freely all around this park,
but your question leaves me in the dark.
Because, never once in all this time,
have I come across any sign,
to tell me that cookies grow on trees,
where did you get your info please? '
Straight away, the kid replied.
'Oh well, you're the first one that I've tried.
I didn't think I'd do it with ease,
you know, find the orchard of cookie trees.
So I'll carry on until I find,
someone who believes, and isn't blind,
yes a person who really, truly agrees,
with the fact that cookies grow on trees!

Work

Work.
Toil.
The pain I put in the ground.
For such a precious thing.
Corn.
The family enjoys their meal.
They plant their leftover kernels.
And wait for me to tend to them.
Work.
An endless cycle in which happiness is born.

Awake

Your sons and daughters have gathered
Under the great odum tree
We have come to offer the fruits of our lips

Can you hear the rhythmic tunes of the xylophone?
Can you hear the vibrations from the flutes?
Can you hear the sounds of our melody?

Awake!

We are the children of your great heritage
We are the children of your great tribe
The tribe our ancestors gave us
The tribe that is not complete without
Its mortar and pistil

We are under the great odum tree
The tree that stands between our two tribes
The tree that gave our posterities life

Your kings are here
Your elders are here
Your children are here

Awake! And listen to our great melody.

The symphony of dawn

The symphony of dawn

Have you ever had a day?
When filled with energy
Your mind just wants to spread delight
And your heart is filled with glee
When your happiness just touches folk
Cause, they can see you glow
Have you ever felt a time?
When only love can flow.

Have you ever had a day?
When the whole world seems to glow
Have you ever watched the dawn?
Or watched the morning show
Have you sat there near a fountain?
And heard the magic sound
As it bubbles out its crystal song
And fills the air around.

Have you watched the morning breeze?
On a soft, sweet summers day
As all the many branches dance
In a lovely kind of way
The sun lends them so many colors
At the hazy birth of morn
Have you felt that morning feeling?
It’s the symphony of dawn.

Ode on Sorrows

A traveler has traveled far and wide,
Lost in the plains of yellow flowers and Poppies
He saw the tree that stood
An Oak tree it was, with stream of water from underneath.

A reflection of his image he saw,
A fallacy he denied.
Like a fool he talk to trees and skies
The west wind blew and his heart felt
Heard his name sorrow, thus the wind Whispers
“A man is weight by the sorrow in his heart”

Thirsty, he drank from the stream.
Bitter it was, but the stream was as clear as the sea
An epiphany he had, the taste of bitterness,
Was from his heart, the taste of sorrow.

Green grass withered and the sun died,
Illuminated by the night skies;
He mocks the heavens
And he curses the ground.

The heaven cried out,
“Man is imprisoned in the passage of time”
The stars died too
The stream dried out and came a man
“I am thy sorrow, thy need, thy fallacy”.
“I live in denial, for I know not the man I see,
I know not of my weight, my sorrows”

“The yolk of life that I carry has undone me”
“Emptiness in a man’s heart is the presences of grief
Atlas! How well did my heart grief” said he
“How well did my heart swallowe’d”

Darkness came over the plain,
the beauty was shunt from man.
A voice he heard,"nature of man is beautiful and deceitful"
Dawn came, blissful, as the early birds began to sing
the dew drops that fell on the grass, illuminated the plains
his heart was filled with tears of truth.

A Tree of Love-A Parable of Patience and Faith

One day I had a magical seed. I carried it around in my pocket like a special key. It had the power to change humanity and yet it remained unplanted. The Creator placed it upon my heart to grab a shovel. He instructed me to bury the special seed on a hill where no crows could find it. He instructed me to gingerly care for it and water it each and every day. He was the One who created the seed. I found the most sacred place in my entire town to bury this seed. I sat and watched to see how the wind would blow over this spot too. I knew from past experiences that the elements can be very harsh on a thing so delicate and tiny. I loved this seed and wanted it to succeed.

One day as I gathered at the sacred place I saw a tiny seedling emerge. I raised my hands to the Creator thanking him for his miraculous workings. I said a prayer over the fragile plant emerging and wondered what it would be like several months from now. Oh the potential for its growth!

I came back to view the seedling a few months later and it had grown into a budding sapling. There were the most elegant heart-shaped flowers upon it and the aroma of a true friendship had sprung from the soil in which it was planted. I was enraptured with this tree in wait. I was optimistic how grand it would grow to be!

Years had passed and time was on my side. The tree and I had become the best of friends. I even sat beneath its branches one day and had the grandest nap! I dreamed of miracles and joy and butterflies descending upon its branches. I nurtured it with love and prayers over the years and it was standing before me a miracle from the Creator!

The lessons that I learned from this tree of love were great. I learned that time and patience are truly on our side if we have our hearts in the right place. I also learned that just a little water goes a long way when you consistently take the time to bring your watering can to the seed and stretch out your faith. I also learned that it is good to dream with your friends along the way and hope for the miracles around the bend.

All things are possible with God, a seed, and a watering can!

THE MONEY TREE IN THE WARLOCKS GARDEN

THE MONEY TREE IN THE WARLOCK’S GARDEN

Poverty, poverty, Oh poverty
there is a money tree in the Warlock’s Garden.
Before you slept, you wish for a better way.
Your mother is sick and your father is dead.
Do well in school and live for a moment.
Your poorness will disappear because you have been chosen
to remove bad faith and bring luck upon you.
Do not ever say it is not a blessing.
The thought will bring disaster.
Your magnifier is your mind in thought.
Exemplary, your ideas are.
You are now in a scrape.
You will be the condemner of your faith.
Good I am to those who know a truthful way.
The Money Tree is in the Warlock’s Garden.

Through that door

Through that door

As the Sun crashed through my window
As the birds awoke the dawn
My mind made new by daybreak
It became the day reborn.
And a whisper stirred within me
From my heart arose these words
“Go through that door to the other side
Then you’ll “hear” these blessed birds”.

And those trees did softly rustle
In the early morning breeze.
And I became the morning
and the breeze that moved these trees
And the whisper softly told me
As the dawn it beckoned me
“Go through that door to the other side
Then you’ll dance just like those trees”.

Through that door, through that door
Go through that door beyond.
Just keep on moving to the other side
Let the shadows all be gone.

That door seemed so elusive
When I sought it with my mind
Then the whisper seemed to tell me
Just leave your mind behind
Then I felt the sweetest music
As the trees they shone so bright
And as I wandered through that door
I felt such sweet delight

Tree Of Knowledge (Fibonacci)

…and
this
is tree
of knowledge
where its sweet fruits, not
of apples, as many believed
are forbidden, not for the birds, but for man to eat

yet, these un-named fruits, sweet as they are, caused man to sin
that man became God’s enemy
unless we seek Him
thru His son
we can
be
sure

of
His
mercy
for He wants
us, to dwell in Him
this is the reason why He sowed
a tree, for us to enjoy life, as we flatter, free

The Fat Sparrows Tree

Do you ever watch little birds in a tree on your front lawn?
They rise early, stretching, shaking, chirping right at the break of dawn.
They are soon to be going out looking for their food for the day.
It’s like they gather to talk about day. Make a plan, and they are on their way.

I’ve watched those small fat sparrows, one male with red breasted colors, start their day.
Seeing that I’ve been awaken way before them I marvel at their precision time as they fly away.
They have their babies in the nest outside in the bush in my yard.
I realize their protection love and bondage their caring ways for their young, who they fiercely guard.

Special, yes, it’s truly sad that creatures that live in this tree live by instinct are smarter than men.
Men; where war is a happenstance for greed, maliciousness, man’s total misunderstanding this is a sin.
The fat bellied sparrows knows not nuclear bombs, knows not killing for gain; So it’s clear to me in then the birds will win.
As the horsemen are riding, here in the end is the end of an age the fat bellied sparrows live in the tree in harmony.
I look at this family this fat bellied sparrows community, and see God’s gift to them, they not man’s terrible destiny.

Awakening

Are we awake or are we still sleeping?
Blind to the hurt, and deaf to the weeping.
Ashamed of religion and supportive of the new,
Aware of the lies and hidden from what’s true.

Worship the evil and turn away the pure,
Developing disease with an unknown cure.
Starving the poor and overfeeding the wealthy.
Killing the sick and drugging the healthy.

Going to war for some kind of power,
Building tall structures over all types of flower.
Cutting the trees and polluting the air,
All out of greed, with no sort of care.

Turning us against our own,
And help from up above.
Making us beings of hate,
Instead of ones of love.

Demonizing the mystic,
Criticizing the wise.
Making our own family members,
Into people that we despise.

Awaken to the torment,
Be aware of all the pain.
Those who are misleading,
And claiming that we are insane.

Tree Bark Poem

I like tree bark
Like to climb up it
With shoes with metal spikes
And cuffs with sharp hooks

I see a bird's nest
With eggs that are blue
I count five or six
It's a robin's kin

If I fall down hard
From this mighty height
I will crush a limb
I will hold on tight

The Master Carpenters tree

The impressive mighty trees
Are birthed from such small seed
Drawing resilience from the sun
And earth’s fertile garden bed

Trees wooden trunk has shaped
And sustained for centuries many in varied ways
Some over and upon oceans wide
Where waves stroke shapely hulls
And lull to sleep the hapless venturer
Trusting in woods durable strength and buoyancy

And from such crafted boughs
And whispered sounds
Her meekness and strength is seen and heard
Like the creaks of grandma’s rocking chair
Where the hapless wanderer was first rocked to sleep

Trees have cradled and rocked in their arms
High and low of this world
The greatest of these was in a lowly manger
In an animals crib
But for this one tree its destiny was marked
Chosen before time

For on this tree’s wooden shoulders
It bore God’s greatest gift–
A Holy Child born - Like it-
For one purpose only –
To become accursed - on its wooden cross
To bear the sins of All
The Holy Son then rose - triumphantly from earth’s fertile soil

Into His Father’s arms

Spiritually Belongs

Do you think this world needs some mending? Anger, vice, hate abounds.
Take a good look, wars, killing, famine, and diseases pestilence, all around.
What this world needs is love, something man will never know.
Carnal selfish man wanting what he knows not, getting through life somehow.

Our Father long ago scattered men to the far ends of this earth, confusing men and languages.
The thing that men forget? It’s the Father, He has the final say, all the rest is gibberish.
The Eternal stands above and observes His creation, the fallen man.
God the Father in His infinite wisdom experimented with carnal man, gave him choices, Understand?

With His choice Adam ate from the tree of knowledge not the tree of life.
Adam, in his carnal mind wanted what God had the tree of knowledge, the serpent tricked the wife.
Willy, deceitful, evil Spirit one that sinned in His vanity, was cast to this earth.
Waiting treacherously for Eve to make Adam make the choice, God knew this was going to happen even before Adam’s birth.

The Holy Bible, God’s plan, His mystery reveals that’s so, God wanted Adam’s obedience and His love.
A gift, the tree of life the way to true happiness, from God above.
You can’t have lukewarm faith, like Adam’s, remembering God’s plan is for us to enter the Kingdom it’s our choice.
The Supreme One God, a patient tolerant loving Spiritual Father, He wants your Spiritual happiness and voice.

Adam by choice failed so his children were doomed to physical, emotional, ailing, sickness and death.
God made us in His image He put in Adam a special place, gave him life and his first breath.
Our Father is everywhere He gives His love to whomever he chooses, now, you as a part of that seed, what will you do?
Make worldly things important, or take heed and make the choice to obey God’s laws and return to the Kingdom that the Father has made for me and you?

Our Father the true God of this universe, His “Word” has stood the test of time,
To obey the deceiver of men and his fallen angels is the real crime.
Jesus had the choice, and He died for our sins and stood spiritually strong.
Our Father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus are there for us, He wants to be obeyed and keep us safe and spiritually strong.
