Eternal Everlasting Joy

Sometimes, I think about my life
And the prices I have paid
All the places I have been
The choices I have made

Seems somewhere along the path
I stumbled upon a stone
At that moment I realized
I’d forgotten my way home

My home became a prison cell
My memory was forgotten
My soul was like an egg
An egg that had gone rotten

Sorry I had to go away
You didn’t deserve my shame
I moved very far away
No connection to my name

My life has always been a lie
One I kept hidden from you
When you thought I was in college
Serving time up in the zoo

On the day I was released
You thought I graduated
The moment you were most proud
Another lie to be hated

I have learned it’s never to late
I believe those words are true
Grandma I’m on a mission
I will graduate for you

I really want to earn the pride
You gave me so long ago
I think it will bring some peace
Releasing guilt up in my soul

I’ve learned in the game of life
We must earn our pride
Even if the people are gone
Resting on the other side

I’ve learned in the game of life
Even though they may be hard
Choices aren’t like rolling dice
They're not like flipping cards

Choices define who we are
I know these words are true
Every choice I know make
Are bringing me back home to you

Grandma, I know where heaven is
It’s right here inside my heart
Inside of mine your memory
Until death will never part

During the time I have left
I vow to always let it show
All the seeds you sowed in me
I shall nourish as they grow

In the end I’ll sit with you
Just like when I was a boy
We’ll sing and praise Jesus’ name
With eternal everlasting joy

Eat Pray Love

On the edge
of the evacuation zone
Miyuki holds her daughter
tip-toeing in pink sneakers
her small hands fragile
blossoms opening
to the man with the beeping wand

They were outside in the karesansui
washing and raking
rocks, when the school
heaved, convulsed
then pressed into silence
one-hundred-and-seven
voices rising inside

So now they wait with strangers
in ordered lines of sorrow
for bread and drinking water
as an adolescent, eyes downcast
sees the small pink laces and
offers up his only ration
of precious onigiri

Hooded and white masked they walk
three days and bed-less nights toward
Ishinomaki by the ocean
to family, friends, and home forever
transformed

The landscape jumbles unfamiliar
with plastic wreckage
and automobiles
detritus flooded in a field
where Japonica once grew
while moon-suited men
and women gather
albums for the living

And after sunset Miyuki moves
her little girl away
from a white-taped blue-bagged
lifeless form
toward the humming black-robed Monk, his
prayers for light
and workers burned
exposed to radiation ten
thousand times too high

And in the shadows one old man kneels
beside a fetid pool and scoops
rice to carry back to neighbours
moved to higher ground, un-opens
one last bottled spirit
bows his head and offers
Miyuki and her first and only
everything  he has

At last they reach the shelter’s glow
beneath the starless robe of night
not used to wearing
shoes indoors
Miyuki helps her daughter fold
sheets of painful news into
an origami box to hold
her last and only pair

And in the morning as they face
the stretch of road for home
to unknown love and losses there
they turn and gaze toward the east
awaiting still
spring’s warming breeze
to rise with brilliant red once more
new light of wondrous dawn

      ~~~~~~~~~
'karesansui' is a Japanese rock garden or 'dry landscape'.  Rocks are often washed.
'onigiri' is the emergency rice being distributed to survivors in Japan.
'Japonica' is a type of (short-grained) Japanese rice.
Fill It With Him (Mid Swap)
There is no love, without our God;
Search your heart and home it’s not hard ~
I cannot stay if He’s not there,
A sense of loss would fill the air.
Fill this house with truer faith
Let, our hearts hope in Him always --
He‘ll heal spiritual beggars,
His glory abounds forever…
Search your heart and home it’s not hard ~
There is no love without our God.
Enter, for the kingdom is nigh,
Reach in and ask He’ll not deny.
There are blessings awaiting you,
Hope in Him, and He’ll see you through…
Open your heart, for it is home
Remember God is on the throne ~
When despair strikes – Give it to God,
Search your heart and home it’s not hard ~
My Journey Home
My journey home is closer today,
than it was yesterday.
Someday my heart aches and pain
will pass me by.
My journey home will be a
most beautiful trip,like no one
has ever taken before.
Mother has been waiting for me,
there on those goldend shores,
ever since her parting from this old world
many years ago.
Taking one day at a time,
until I take my
journey home, when I sit down
with my Lord and thank Him
for what he did for me
on Calvary that day so long ago.
It hurt me
Sitting here knowing that you are laying in that bed
Helpless on meds that you dont want to be on
Not knowing were you are
It hurt me to see you that way Mother
Praying to the Lord that you are going to be ok
Praying that he dont take you so soon away
I hate this so much
Seeing you in and out and its nothing I can do
I just wish apon a star
That all your sickness go away
and you dont have to deal with this no more
It sucks spending your Bday in that bed
I pray that that you get better soon
so you can come home
I pray that all this go away and you never have to deal with this any more
No matter what we go though
I only have one mother
and I dont know how I would live my life without you
Please come home and get better
So i can stop this crying
Please all your pain and sickness go away
So I dont have to worry about getting that call oneday
and I am not there by your side
You are my mother and I love you
If you have a mother and you all are not on the best term
Its best to do that soon
Because you never know when they time is up
I love you mother
My one and only Queen
Please get better and come home soon
Death Of The Saints
A cousin called the other day saying "Another cousin has passed away".
Well my husband said "How old was she.""
"Ninety-eight".
A stalwart woman who had served family and community well. Producing one child that
became a missionary serving in a foreign land..
While talking the cousin asked "Did you know ______"?
My husband answered, "Well, I don't think that I knew them".
The cousin proceeded to tale this story.
"The man had been down with cancer for a while and passed recently..The funeral had been
conducted and the hearse had gone on to the cemetary..The family car with the family was
not to far behind..But when it pulled up, the wife of the deceased did not get out and the
funeral home staff was gathering around..The funeral home director decided to go see what
was going on ...."
The cousin said, " That this funeral home director told him". "That he had been in this
business for thirty-five years and faced something that he had never had happen to him or
any other funeral home director that he knew."
The funeral home director said, "When I got to the family car, I found the wife of the
deceased had passed from a massive corornary."
She had said, "I don't know how I will live without him." She didn't have to learn. God called
her home..
The roosters crow, the crows craw and are answered by the gobble of the turkey across the
way..
Cry only for those who cannot hear you
The wind did stir the thought in kind wanting - for if she knew my soul, just a spark
of it, I would be a rich man...
So long this ribbon of love that flows over the rocks of age and distant torment...
The gate keepers sit alone watching, waiting for the violators who dare not call
mundane theirs...
It is those shackles which bind misguided dreams that which make fertile ground for
the barkers at the door, for what else does one need to grey the vision and dull
delight?
You carry the scent of the well-traveled said the withered old man - I too know your
pain, that which comes from never knowing home - those of us who seek blindly
that which the world cannot give - home is not a place but a thought in time and
nothing more than a stop to rest your ambition...
Cry only for only those who cannot hear you, for it is selfish to do otherwise and
seek home in the gentle embraces of those that know you...
Be kind to those who would bite you, for in doing so it will bring light to a dark path...
AND
Always rejoice in life - it pisses them off and helps them to see the tragic flaw of
their diluted beliefs...
Missing You
we missing you already and you have not gone out of the door
it won't be the same just having three at home instead of four
not having you around at quiet time to read Gods' word
not been able to come into your room and pray
you going on a great trip to spend time with God for a few days
to dream the impossible and to see things that will amaze
God will minister to you and he will show you many new things
it will be great the new songs that your heart starts to sings
you wil return home different from when you go
God is the centre of our life
he comes first in all that we do
but you know we still will surley miss you
sun, cloud,  dull hail or storm
God won't fail to help you transform
so have a great trip and  have lots of fun
it will be great for you to see how God makes impossible things be done. Amen.
it will be a long weekend
but we know you will be with a loyal and true friend, God will be with you
have a nice time this weekend James
miss you, Love you. xx
I'm Going Home
,
Lord thank you for this life,
As I have lived a full life,
It was not always as I would have like,
But I lived it to the best of what I could,
I’m going home; Home to the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
I have been a long weary believer,
As I’ve been away to long,
I now know what I’ve been searching for,
As He's been there in me all along,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
I have been and seen lots of places in life’s journey,
Now I yearn for familiar faces in familiar places,
I hear familiar voices calling me to come home,
I see familiar faces looking at me,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
My time is near, the hour I know not,
I see Jesus' face across the Heaven’s,
I hear His soft sweet voice calling me home,
 I can’t wait for my real life to begin,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me.
My Mother Jean, A Maverick
Alberta “Jean,” the different one was she since her birth and among her family. This redhead born of parents with dark hair had felt herself an odd plain duck; in prayer she’d kneel and on her father’s farm was awed by nature. In the fields, she’d pray to God. With fervent adoration for her God, she searched for truth. A maverick was she. She left her parents’ church, for she was awed by teachings not those of her family. The Gospel she discovered through deep prayer dismayed her folks, as had her bright red hair! Upon her birth, because of her red hair, her folks had joked she wasn’t theirs, but God would lead her to a new life. On a prayer, she traveled west. A restless soul was she - the one to leave her home and family to find her niche; by her bold move I’m awed. By all the things she did back then, I’m awed. She joined the Navy. Jean, with bobbed red hair, would meet my dad and start a family. Great trials came to her. She called on God. To go back home then was the answer she was given after long and pleading prayer. She had to leave my dad. I know through prayer this answer came to her. Again I’m awed because with us, her four small daughters, she became a single mom. She wore long hair up in a bun, worked hard, had faith in God, and married someone else with family. Eight children then were in our family. My mother taught her step kids about prayer, affecting all our lives. Her trust in God is never-ending, and we all are awed. . . . She’s 80, widowed, and still has red hair and goes out dancing!! Rare indeed is she! With faith in God, Jean raised a family. No need of fame has she, for she has prayer and grandkids awed now by her still red hair!
* see about poem for more info on Jean *I tried to make this one like a rhyming Sestina. Instead of choosing just any six words to repeat at the end of each line, I decided to use three pairs of words that rhymed with each other. The position of the words changes from stanza to stanza, but I think the rhyming aspect still holds strong.
I Don't Hate America
I Don’t Hate America
I like the country I live in
That doesn’t mean I have to sing their songs
to prove that sh@!.
That doesn't mean that
I can just can’t get over the fact that
they murdered the people who built it
America was dedicated to a proposition that
“all men are created equal, except
for women, indians and blacks
The white men were just fine is what we were told
but what about those who were stolen that never made it over to NEW WORLD?
The ones that were thrown overboard and
those who died from sickness while in transport
Remember those who were born into slavery and never even knew what freedom was before their physical bodies left
and people like Thomas Jefferson
He understood that slavery was wrong but did not free his own until his death
What about those who beaten senseless and burned, and hanged,
All while screaming “Nigger" What’s your new name?
Oh how soon do we forget…
That’s why I despise that word and
I don’t care who it is that uses it
#u$k that slavery sh@!
And #u$k that flag b@%ch!
#u$k you America because you’ve always made things hard .
So don’t look at me strange when I show those songs disregard and those fake ass patriotic undertones about how we are the land of the free
more like the land of the captured and the Home of the Slaves, see
I don’t’ hate America
I can be and do and go as I please
But, then I remember the poor people they injected with disease
They thought they were getting free health care but the doctor is giving them syphilis
Please!
I remember the natives of this land
They slaughtered and labored them to work for freedom in their own land
I remember the Civil War
where we were a country divided by the Mason Dixon Line
The north and the south of the same country at war to save lives
I don’t hate America
This is my home
But I refuse to let the things that
my ancestors endured during the struggle of building SUCH A FINE COUNTRY be forgotten
It’s 2012 and the politicians still plottin to find a way to take away the black vote
It’s the same shit, but now they just don’t use the noose to choke the life out of souls
I’m so tired of the constitution and it’s loop holes, and amendments, and acts, and laws
This just proves that man can’t govern themselves because even with all these rules we constantly fall into the black hole deeper and deeper
I don’t hate America
I just choose to not take part in its little song and dance
I pledge my allegiance to God
and continue to write and lose myself in my poetic trans
I'm Coming Home
He looks through the curtains as the meal is served
The sweat on his brow and the I.V. drips
Mom wears her apron with a picture of a turkey on it
It was her favorite and the music playing
And I'm coming home to where I'm loved
Father sits watching the game as the plate goes round
He had  money on the wrong side but he swigs a beer
Everyone seems happy and content so he knocks on the door
No one hears  and he stirs,trying to break free of the restraints
And I'm coming home to the warmth when I'm cold and alone
Where a man works and his wife cleans and raises the boys
Where desolation has no place to hide and no regret
And Mom hasn't begun drinking because her son left and will never come back
Where the geese still fly South to the warmth
Dogs bark and people have to stand to switch the channel
And I'm coming home
No cell phone or video games to gaze at and 24 hour news
The nurse brings a syringe and plunges it into my I. V.
The Angel wipes my soaking brow and gives me comfort
I'm alone with the mist and the murmur of the crickets
I'm coming home
The house is quiet and emptiness within
But Mom left a light on with expectation
A sign was set for all to know I'm coming
The quiet is lovely and the light welcomes
Home
Last Kiss
Open your eyes to the ever turning skies
I want to here with me through the night
My heart yearns into your soul
Burning as if newly lit coal
I bravely submerg the embers
That the time I have can be spent with you
And I remember each kiss every moment
I was caught in your love that for just this day I remember
So what happened was a chance for your love
A time that I kept in a locket tied with a kiss
 I wanted you to feel, to love, to slumber
And to awake in my arms with that times kept bliss
I lay silient in an umber
The Vent
im livin in a world, where all eyes on me.
trying to curve my own route.
but route 66 keeps finding its way to me.
ive been plenty sick, in all the events layed before me.
even when i reflect to my lowest points
i dont regret any of the choices
That I’ve deployed in my era
A lot of it by error, but hey
We live in hell conditions and there ain’t no air condition
Or any guidelines when life throws you in the sidelines
But when hindsight twenty twenty hits
You’ll begin to understand life’s a bunch of equations and you in the mix of it
An you’ll have to think twice, before running into a situation and becoming the best of it
Situations
it’s what got me here, it’s what got us here
Ran with my thoughts blazing up to her place and
Guess what happened next
She opened up heaven’s gate
And just before late I slipped out
Simply put
I’m a Grown ass man
Doin his thing, waitin to blow up like an old land mine
In doin what he drools over
But time after time
Something decides to creep up and cover the light
Lost my way
Then I revoked to ever know, I ever thought that way
But in the in between time, that in the mean time
Spent a lot of time
Gettin pissed off just to medicate and lift off
Don’t need Don Perion to sip off
Already had my way with the bottle
Even thought to get back with the trouble and rejoin the hustle
That’s just what happens to a man who really knows his old ways
Whos tired of making ends meet and ponders getting back to the streets.
Memory sets in and he remembers an O.G. saying
No matter how tall your pockets stand when you ball
Eventually times gonna make you fall
Fall
And I as I pull myself together
I don’t wanna end up like the twin towers rubble
I mean no offence to nine eleven but at that time I probably could have used a reverend
But all that’s irrelevant now
because i live with a different perspective now
there you go you made it to the end :-) comment if you like, constructive criticism wanted as well.
As my Mother Slips Away
I called my mother the other day- just to listen to her voice
She answered dear Steve – yes this is me- how are you this day
I said I was fine- it has been some time- I searched for more words to talk
She cantered a bit then came to a halt- as I began to say
Mother dear- this is Mark- how are you today
Mark she replied- I have a Mark- he was the oldest of three
How is school - are you making good grades- are you coming home real soon
I told her I would- If only I could- would she know me anyway
I visited my mother the other day- at a home for Alzheimer patients
Her stare in the air- made it be known- that she could not remember
I sat by her side- we nibbled on crackers- we looked out the window pane
Then I was father- she told me she miss me –I cried a thousand tears
She reached for my hand- I did not resist- I was blessed to make her happy
How are you Tom- I said I was fine- The kids will be home soon
I told her it’s time- I must go home - I have to work tomorrow
I took her hand- I’ll see you soon- Goodbye Steve she told me
As my Mother slips away today- how precious are my memories
For after this world –I can hardly wait- for my Mother to recognize me
FOREVERMORE
When I hear your name
My heart beats faster than usual
It's not that I am ashame
But It's just your name is too special..
Can't control the feelings
When I am with you
Can't stop smiling
When you hold me like you do
When you hug me then
I feel like I'm in heaven
You are a blessing from above
And you are the reason why I loved
I'll promise to love you FOREVERMORE..
And I will cherish you until the end of my borrowed life
And I will keep our precious memories as long as
we see each other in our next life..
My Future Generation
I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless
I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation
Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee
I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…
Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives
Being childlike is
A rare beauty –
No one prizes it…
No one came across it…
In this lifetime…
I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine
Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…
I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation
I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy
I’ll still have pieces of a child in me
And pass it on to my future generation…
Will We Know Him
Will We Know Him?
Will we know Him if He stood in front of us?
If He walked by us on the street?
Will we know Him?
If we have a chance to meet Him in our  lifetime?
In that split second that we meet Him?
Our eyes met for the first time?
Will we know Him?
Yes reading the moment we stood side by side?
Our smiles are very clear
Our heart jumps around
Yes we do know Him?
That look, and that feeling
When we know we've found our home
Yes we do know Him
Yes we know what to say to Him
As we walk away together
Yes we know Him as He knows us His children
We are finally together
I Was Homeless... Now I Have A Home
Never had a voice.
Never had a choice.
Never had a room.
My life was doomed.
Wanted to get away.
No one to turn to.
Not allowed to mix,
With crowds.
Always heard cursing,
Out loud.
Asked God why I,
Had no where to go.
No place where I fit in.
No place where I was me.
No place that I could see,
Hear, feel, touch,
Or taste peace.
No where I had love.
Not realizing that that,
Place was temporary,
That I had to be there,
Just for a while.
So that one day I'll,
See a smile,
And hear well done,
My faithful servant.
You have fought the,
Good fight, kept the,
Faith, ran the race.
I was there with you,
In that place. Now I have,
A new home for you.
For you to lift your voice,
Because you made the ,
Right choice. You have,
Many rooms. You come my way,
And turned to me.
Come home with me,
To live in peace and victory.
No Job Can't Pay the Bills TRY JESUS
Here I sit, uncertain of what lies ahead.
I’m still wondering how my family will be fed.
I once had a job that provided a sense of “security.”
Now I don’t…  And I have a lot of uncertainty!
I have unpaid bills, and I’m not sure what to do.
I’ve asked for help.  But not sure who to turn to!
I get discouraged, and feel life “pulling me down.”
I’ve tried just about every job that’s in town.
The dreams I had, have been shattered and smashed.
At times, I feel like I’m just “a piece of trash.”
My wife tried to support me, the best that she can.
But she doesn’t know me…  Or even understands!
Dear Jesus…  You’re the only left that I haven’t tried.
There’s been many nights I laid awake and cried!
I read in the Bible, where your love for me is real!
When I call on your name...  There’s a love I can feel!
Whatever happens, please help me Lord, to trust you!
Whatever tomorrow holds, may I still love you!
I know that you’re a foundation, that I can stand on!
Jesus is a friend!  That I can always depend on!
Jesus, if I lose everything that I have or that I hold on to...
My I always remember your faithfulness
 and never forget you!
Here I stand… With my burdens lifted from me!
It’s because of Jesus!  And how much he loves me!
I praise HIS name!  And lift my hands to the sky!
He’s in control now!  I don’t have to ask the reason why!
Jesus…  Please take control of my worries and desires!
Above all of my problems, I lift your name up higher!
Daddys Coming Home
My Daddy’s coming home, he promised Mom and me
He told us not to worry; he was safe as he could be
He’ll wear his vest and helmet and stay out of the crowd
My Daddy’s in the Army and he serves his country proud
It’s just another tour he said like the ones before
My Daddy’s coming home some day but today he is at war
We didn’t hear from Daddy, though he said he’d call each day
My Mommy said don’t worry but let’s kneel down and pray
We thank God for our Daddy and to keep him safe and warm
Like he did the last time and back in Desert Storm
We tell God that we love him and that all we’re praying for
Is Daddy coming someday but today he is at war
We haven’t heard from Daddy; it seems for quite a while
We still kneel down and pray for him but Mommy’s lost her smile
Friends keep coming over and they pray with her too
My Mommy looks so tired and sad; I don’t know what to do
Today my Mom was crying when she hung up the phone
She said that was the Army and their sending Daddy home
I said let’s pray for Daddy and knelt down by her side
She didn’t help me with the words; she just knelt down and cried
I knew something had happened but I was scared to ask
I asked God to take over; he handles all those tasks
Then I got this funny feeling, my Daddy’s not alone
He’s with some fallen soldiers and God’s bringing them back home
My Daddy’s going home today like he promised Mom and me
Home to be with Jesus for all eternity
The River home
It was a home on the river we lived .
It was the ghost of a young man whom had taken his own life.
I still remember the vision of him walking by me with a blank stare
We,  as a Family of  seven , moved into this river house
Panoramic views right out to the river , I should mention
I was home alone as a child , looking out at "The Julia Belle Swan " as she went by .
Upstairs in that room as I saw a figure walking by , with very nice features , auburn hair
I thought he was my older brother , a handsome young guy
Then I realized the young man was not my brother , a  apparition he appeared .
He was not there to scare or frighten ,
the message I believe he wanted to shed light on, so clear.
He walked right by ,then disappeared through the window, out to the River .
The Ghost knew I could see him , a gift I have been given
when I was a younger child of five , I had once died for a short time. I was lifted by Jesus in Heaven . Death is not for us to decide .
Later in the years we moved from that home , every home we lived in had a story
or a presence of its own . My Mother had told me later , a young man took his life there .
 Keep fighting your way through life and its despair ,
you are important to someone whom cares .  If you feel alone and want life to end , Please pick up the phone , call anyone ,  call for help , call a Friend .
~The Healer, I lay…Meditating, The Shaman’s path is inward and up, up, from the bed up, up, my astral body rises. Silence, surrounds … Looking down I see myself in a pit of covers my astral self slips from the window viewing home and hearth from outside and high above… No earth born sounds, awaken me from my flight. NO earthly forest, lush or deep entraps the Shaman she. NO bird calls fills the Predawn light… NO dewdrops distract~ Astral I recedes in time… a Dreaming Back, back, back without knowledge of time, or space like a fallen leaf~ twirling and swirling, letting the current take me, where it will through lifetimes to the womb and beyond . . . ~The Healer, I.. ghosts in space… my home but a speck lit with Chi. Silence, surrounds… Fair astral form of gossamer light, I…thread space on umbilical silk, the healer...reaches, reaches for the light, the He and She……God and Goddess. The Healer, I... reaches the World Tree, Yggdrasil, white crystal roots tendril into the primordial sea of space time, branching upward cradling Heaven. There below the tree in the soft grass an ancient one, a familiar soul, waits. ~Oh I am held by She, ancient Grandmother, and garner the wisdom of ages.~ But, the bodies time is now, and calls and as the clay rests, it calls down, down, down… I go ~Past the jumble-tumble between lifetimes, within the cycling universe of all, The Healer, I, reforms, snaps to the umbilicus of prone body, within the tumbled nest of sheets, in the now plane of existence. ~Arms reach out brushing cheeks, eyes gleam, and sparkle with the joy of sharing, kindred spirits having touched the ancient wisdon of the Light! Dedication to Everyone
I feel that I have found a home in this cyberspace
with full of hearts and ideas in a special place
I wonder of all the people in the world to make me smile
with antics that help me grow in every mile
I do want to say to all of the people with respect
because of all of you my mind is not in a wreck
I would lie if I did not get ideas from all of you
without you my poems would not come true
I bless everyone with care
with kindness and without dis-pare
I hold my hands high and put them together
with this I bless you with good weather
I do read some of the poems that people put out
sometimes I feel with out a doubt
I feel the pain in the poems that some has revealed
with hopes that they can read with their mind not sealed
I smile a bunch with every word
it is like a music in my head making a cord
I do want you all to know that you have made my day
to be a better day in every different array
I cherish my time with all the people in my heart
the words flow in my mind is just but a start
I'm happy with everyone in PoetrySoup.com
with hardship that came this cyberspace makes me calm
I cannot choose five cause if I do I don't think it's right
just to tell you that is just my own insight
I thank all for helping me grow with all the poems that are shown
with faith and humor, with views of kindness this site has grown
If I had to say or dedicate my poems to who
would be the first five who reads my poems with a point of view
The Risk of Choice
It would be too easy to not believe
And not have faith in all He wants us to see.
But I don't want to risk my life being saved
Because of a choice I was refusing to make.
What I Look For In A Home
I’m sure that home to many has a different meaning. It depends what kind of life they’ve been receiving. There are those with memories of hurt and pain. Some may not want to mention their families name. Others have childhood memories they are fond of. They may have a family that they’re proud of! I think that in many cases, home is not what people see. It has a lot of importance. Both to you and me! What home means to me is to have our family together. And ask the Lord to bless it, with his love forever! God gave me a wife and children to take care of. May I not do things that I’d be ashamed of! I invite YOU Jesus, to be the head of our home! May we come together as a family, around your throne! May our family serve one another as we should. May the truths of God’s word be applied and understood! May the Lord help us to get along, with our imperfections. May God’s word be our “road map,” for needed direction! There’s no perfect home. Believe me! I know it! When it comes to family time… We all need to show it! Unless the lord builds the home… They labor in vain that build it! Let’s seek God’s blessing! So his love can completely fill it! Please come Jesus! And fill our home today! May our home be honored by what we do and say! By Jim Pemberton
Observer
A serpent underneath blue sky,
in shade of man, in twinkle of an eye,
above brick wall, in the structure, at the floor,
venom of white dove; contaminated food, undrinkable water,
misguided youth, pregnant daughter, unfaithful father and hateful son,
mothers do pray while we walk through Babylon;
on teli and in the press, on top shells,
price none the less, in bedroom and at your door..
dawn of a new day seemed to be dark,
after all.
Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Going Home
What is it to see the soil of home again?
A welcome, snow-struck and a return
To cold; sharp white contrasts sunburn.
We converse in broken tongues to men
We know, hooked on holiday language
Comprised of wandering hand signs.
Collect the car and pay parking fines,
Drive through towns and over a bridge
Until we reach the Western gateway.
Oh when will we arrive at our house?
No camels there, only field mouse
Which are eaten by our cat anyway.
The plane flies for an age, slyly yawning
Through the stretching, pealing sky,
A knife through air; what it is to fly.
Our travels over; a new day is dawning.
The Traveller's Unclaimed Land
He says he loves me then he says he loves me not
He loves me today but by tomorrow I'm forgot
He runs from my love but returns wanting more
I guess I'm to blame for letting the traveler explore,
See travellers just wander and are never here to stay
They admire the scenery and enjoy the display
They tour the land and ride the attractions
So memories become their only subtractions,
They search for an experience that is what they yearn
The condition once they leave is none of their concern!
So how can the land be devoted and true
When travellers come and go out of the blue.
The present is now and where he's travelled to,
But the past he calls home so he must return soon
Most likely just a visit although time can only tell,
But what he lusts is in this land and he knows it very well
He may call that place home but its this land that he seeks
Travellers on a mission never realize until they hit their peek
He continues to damage this land down to its core
So what's left to offer when their is nothing left in store?
The resources were depleted and the land left bare
He comes and goes as he pleases it doesn't seem fair;
See this land has been abused time and time again
Seeds that were planted, were means to an end
But pleasure and satisfaction was always accomplished
Because this land provided where the homeland was disadvantaged!
But despite the history and despite the trust
Submit to his urges is something he must.
So this time around his departure is permanent
Lack of faith and loyalty was the final determinant.
The damage he caused cannot be rendered,
So his visitation rights he has surrendered!
So leave this land I say and never look back
This is the path you chose I hope you can stay on track,
Cause travellers have memories of the lands they have stained
But the land only remembers the one that remained!
I Know of An Old Fashioned Family
There’s a family I know,  that may seem old fashioned.
But they serve others from a heart of compassion!
They don’t have much in the scope
 of entertainment.
But they have each other,
 and much contentment.
They have a love for God that comes from within!
And are thankful to the Lord
 for being their friend!
They don’t get too involved with that the world brings.
They have each others love.
They have everything!
This family has been an inspiration to others too!
By their giving hearts, in much of what they do!
This family has a commitment to serve God above.
And have asked Jesus to fill them with his love!
This may seem old fashioned,
not to have a lot of things…
But they know their Lord
and the love that he brings!
I’m thankful to know them and their Godly inspiration…
I extend to them a heart of thanks  and appreciation!
Please dear Lord, bless and keep them in your arms!
Be with them Jesus, and protect them from harm!
May the blessings of God keep
flowing through them!
And may the peace and joy of God continue to be with them!
Some Angels........... Don't have wings!!!!!!
Have you ever taken time to notice and implore,
that in the world around us there's so much more.
When life seems to rear an ugly circumstantial set,
there are  some among us
that remind us not to fret.
They seem to always know what it is to be said,
assurance that better days lie ahead.
Providing a gentle touch to a chin,
of a face that's held low,
casting a gentle smile,
re-igniting a flame,
within a washed out soul!!!
Friend don't you know.
Some ANGELS
don't have wings!!!!
Yet.
They go on doing what they do......
miraculous things.
They carry many titles,
names in which they go by.
Teacher,
Preacher,
Team Player,
COACH!!!!!
Grandma,
MOMS,
POPS,
Grandad,
Sister,
Brother,
Cousin,
all sorts.
Instilling lessons taught
and lessons learned,
dreams cultivated,
and hopes
revitalized
to those of us,
distraught.
I tell you this  because I've come to know.
Some ANGELS,
Don't have wings!!!!
Yet they go on doing what they do
phenomenal things.
They seems to spring into action,
without a whimper or a glare
never departing,
with us all the way,
breath by breath
step by step.
Then comes that faithful day,
the one that we never seem to forget,
You know the one when sweet trumpets play,
never to relent.
A sweet, sweet melody
which he or she can only hear.
"Come on Home ", the creator, would say,
I've reserved for you a special pair.
"Welcome Home "
here is your eternal place, up here
among the saints, my dear!
I'm Not the Kind of Dad That I Need to Be
I’m Not the Kind of Dad That I Need to Be! I remember reading the Bible to my son. But what a mess, my life has become! My children told me, they were proud of their dad! Now they say they’re embarrassed and sad. I once lived a Godly life! I really did! Just look at me now! And how I live! Things in life I once called wrong and sin. Are now causing me to stumble again. God's word I had loved! Jesus was my treasure! I "traded my soul" for what gives me "pleasure." I’m not the kind of father that I need to be! What kind of example will my family find in me? Will I grow stubborn to God as I age? Replacing his peace, for anger and rage? I need Jesus to bring peace to my troubled soul! I ask YOU Lord to make me clean and whole. Restore unto me the joy of my salvation. By your blood, make me a new creation. Words alone cannot truly express… This family God's given to me. I am so blessed! By Jim Pemberton
Eternally Home
Tears of ardency, fell from my eyes..
Seated in heavely places is where I'll
abide..
"Welcome home, my precious child."
He gently whispers with a radiant smile.
I drop to my knees and bow my head..
Hanging and holding onto every word he
had said.
He lifted me up and wiped away my tears..
"You are home now, my child, no need to
fear."
Welcome Home, My Child
Getting sleepy with eyes falling tired
Drift away into a new sense of wonder
Longing for purpose that seems to fade away
With every step, God whispers, "Stay...
"Slow down My Child, you're going too fast
Take a look around at My Home for you at last
Take all in the Love I have for you
And don't fret over fear of what I want from you
I love you Child more than you could ever know
You are My Child; I am your Home
And I will never let you go
All I want is for you to love Me too
Welcome Home, My Child
I love you."
THE STATIONERY BOY
THE STATIONERY BOY
His little dark street
Is at home in the silky cobweb;
His little dark street
Is only loud in the missionaries’ prayers,
It elicits a gaze in very few people,
It is but an uninvited guest to life.
The stationery boy hands out his beautiful fliers,
Like a messenger of his little dark street.
In his big clear eyes a tear is born,
Not as an accusation,
But as wonderful love,
His heart is young and full of hopes
That someday his big silent tear
Shall drop onto someone’s palm.
A new day is born in his wonderful spirit,
Perhaps somewhat cold and strange,
But a new day, still.
Oh powerful destiny, listen to your unloved son,
Wake up the sleeping star;
Wake up the sleeping sun;
Wake up the sleeping hearts of men,
So that the new day may be a friend to your unloved son.
In the inaudible shadows, he has his faithful listeners,
In death he has a faithful visitor,
His young beautiful eyes are more familiar with death than life.
When so many happy children gather around the city’s Christmas tree,
His dear young heart is loudly beating into the deaf nights,
Like a silver bell,
So that his small, dark home would be alight with a gaze.
When the wonderful northern wind brings
Happy children’s voices from afar,
Like a modest Christmas gift,
The stationery boy is building his little kingdom of happiness
In his vivid imagination,
His days and nights may be cold and dark,
But his imagination is bright and completely wonderful,
It shines in the darkness like an angel.
His silver bell is ringing beyond the heavenly dome.
If you want to show a real angel to your kid,
Hurry towards that little dark street,
And you might be lucky enough to see the stationery boy
Before he gets his silver wings.
I'm Coming Out And Am Proud Of It
There are proud people “coming out!” Yet, they have no idea what real life is about! Many brag about a lifestyle that’s revealing. Yet have lost God’s purpose and meaning! I’m coming out for Jesus! I’ve nothing to hide! I’ve asked him to take away my sin and pride! Of my own accomplishments... I’ve nothing to boast! But I’m proud of God the father, son and holy ghost! Whatever pride we have… We’ve all sinned! Jesus told us; “you must be born again!” Nothing that I’ve done is worth “bragging of.” Rather, I’ve done things that I’m ashamed of! But God reached down to where I was standing! And filled my life with his peace and understanding! The more I have of Jesus, the less I need of me! His power alone is what can truly set me free! I’m coming out for Jesus! The redeemer of my soul! I’m going to shout it! So the whole world may know! I’m not ashamed of Jesus! I am NOT! By his mercy… My sins have been blood bought! For each step you take to God… He takes two! Won’t you allow him to do his work through YOU? A life of righteousness and holiness is what God is asking! Come now! And receive HIS life! It’s everlasting! By Jim Pemberton
Our Family Prayer
God, make our home a happy home
for all who dwell within,
Where joyful moments and treasured memories
are always sure to begin.
God make our home a caring home,
One where we learn from each other.
We are all unique in our own special way,
And have many gifts to give one another.
God, make our home a loving home,
Where we give unconditionally.
Where we learn that nothing is more important
Than the love of God and our family.
Past Lives In Edinburgh
....believe in past life reincarnation now,
after visiting the cobblestones of Edinburgh.
From the very first moment of arrival,
it felt as if I had always belonged there,
had finally come home again.
An almost indescribable,
heavy,
brooding calm
settled in my bowels,
centering a spiritual gravity,
erasing all former depravity -
spreading outwards
throughout waiting limbs,
until my thoughts seemed to
culminate into the very center of my mind,
bringing on a clarity like no other.
The closest description
would be a Gothic reawakening.
And when I dipped my feet into the North Sea,
it was as if the ghosts of persecuted witches
were speaking only to me,
prodding, pushing the destiny of Weirding,
telling me to never let go of that most sacred knowledge,
as the whispers turned into a salty wind;
a blustery,
billowing,
intimate communication.
Everywhere I went,
whether around Lochs, through emerald glens,
up rocky bluffs covered in thistles and broom,
ghosts followed me like guardian angels,
whispering to me how I had finally come home to them.
Come home for them - for myself
Even the old stone buildings spoke to me
in a secret language of nuance and periphery,
revealing shadows I had once thought to be mystery.
And to think that a place I had never visited before,
could touch with such a strong sense of familiarity.
I felt as if it had always been a home,
felt as if I had lived there for thousands of years;
older than the very cobblestones themselves,
reclaiming the past, piecing together the future.
For Bruce Springsteen
for bruce springsteen...
it was a rain-swept monsoon day
way back then, so many moons away
when i felt the music strumming in my veins
setting me free like a runaway horse without any reins
you sang of simple truths,
your verse spoke to people just like me
in my lonely, wasted, and desolately quiet night
as you screamed out tragic human wrongs, and of everyone's plight
'bobby jean' spoke to me
of that girl down the street
glimpses of whom, we as innocents would furtively meet
and 'the river' that flowed through my ever-barren heart
led me down further roads of thunder
when slowly i finally learnt that the hardest part was fighting on
and never to surrender
to the hard-luck dreams that were born to run
while i danced in the dark
with memories vivid and stark
even as i whined like that dog who for forever lost his howling bark
and then a 'human touch' came along
and 'better days' seemed real, not just words in a song
and still you sang and swayed and spoke straight into my unseeing eyes
as gardens of secrets were opened, and as your fist punched the skies
in an anger that i too felt and in whose cauldron i too burned
as we saw murder get incorporated, while on its wobbly axis, our fragile world apathetically turned
and then suddenly i was told that i was all grown up
working on a highway of scattered ideals
and absolving myself by sprinkling some coins in a waiting cup
well, after all these years of walking along so many a thorny road
with an armour of your verse covering me, even as i hear them taunt me and even as they continue to goad
but now i can feel myself fading away, into the bleakness of this coming night
just like the ghost of that old tom joad...
Dead On My Own, Alive In Him
Faith is not failing me,
I am failing Him.
Why do I refuse to accept His grace?
Why would I rather live my life on my own
When He is extending a helping a hand?
I am depressed,
Dead on my own,
But I am alive in Him!
I give my life to Him for real;
I give Him my all,
And now I'm alive
Because He gives me life!
The love of your home, its the place to be
With the love of all of your family
Home is truly where the heart is
Remember that the work day is done
Never bring home the toils from the day
Relax and have fun that is the way!
When you walk in the door you will see
The smiling faces of your family
Kiss them hello and have a good night
Be aware that the home you have worked so hard for
Is the place to rest and relax and say
I have done all I can for this day is done its with the
Family, wow I am sure gonna have some fun!
Difficult Trials -Part 2-
Turn the wheel
*******he sea...
Push aside the misery...
The abominable agony...
Endure this hardship...with me
Fight off the tears and let us roam to sea
Don't make it hard for me
To determine the waters
We are the same kind
If you can be so KIND, let me show you your destiny -
To dwell with me in tranquility
We will try to share our responsibilities...
Take turns and share our possibilities...
How have you been?
Sorry we have shut our ears
To your deafening cries
I'm turning the wheel for you
You're losing energy...be still - why are you so blue?
I'll shut out the feeling of anguish
You'll get what you wish
We will start anew
We will start on a fresh start
We will fulfill our dreams and make them come true
We'll brew away the sadness
I'm determined to eliminate
The distress... swallowing us like a tidal wave...
Behave, you wild childlike waters!! Behave!
Don't worry - we'll get rid of
The limited happiness
And make our heart pump with merriness
Don't be a magnet of depression stress
You'll experience a wonderful opportunity
So you may feel  at one with
Our world full of possibilities
And eliminate those cruel, wretched words
That tore apart our responsibilities...
Our activities... our reveries... our possibilities...
That brought us back together
We'll be hiking
These somewhat difficult hardships together
The Bird that is Loved and Loathed
It burns and it stings.
It hurts.
More than drowning beneath
the ice.
More than remaining in a
kindled flame
She hits and I no longer cry.
Why mother, why?
It burned and it stung.
The markings remained,
returned, and were relived
Looking, loving, and little
known loathing were the known
ways of living.
Never was their pity for the
child that cried
Never was their relief for the
child that tried
You were that lovely bird that
understood the complications of
felicity
Nothing looked the same in
those dewy browns of yours.
My everbeating would cry tears
of joy.
The others-they were yet to
appear.
Caring Mother, o' so fair
 You were that beautiful bird
filled with care.
The others came and were not
alone. Their two suitors sat on
the throne.
Rampage and rage why did you
come?
I began to wither and wither
slumping along. So very soon I-
the child of fines- became a
human raceme.
The droops of the Lily of the
Valley became the slumping of
my heart.
My lovely bird the enemy had
taken you and the person you
were is far from near.
For that divine nature left its
intricate self and you became
irretrievable my big bird.
All of your fairness died.
With that went my pride.
Mother, Mother what moved
you so?
Your intense spirt vanished only
to supplement a monster.
Mother, Monster and your tar
filled lungs.
How did I kill that liver that was
so, so strong?
The lesson of pain was one you
came to learn.
My darling bird why did you
turn?
My lovely bird and your big
brown eyes
I'll tell you once, but never
twice.
Pain is only a flower for it
blooms and dies
And a mistake can be killed as
quickly as lice.
 You dear bird hurt me well.
Though, haven't you heard?
Weakness is a souls greatest
strength.
You brought me up, then you
brought me down.
You haved helped, hurt, and
hindered my blazing spirit.
A hero in my heart-I left you
down in your deep black
slumber.
Escaping those terrible nights
To go for the town of delights.
LIFE
Two hearts beat, now beating faster; beating until they're one
Two souls breathe, now breathing deeper; breathing until they're done
Two lovers see forever, and forever is where they run
One child comes home tomorrow for life has just begun
Even when the rainbow's glowing, the skies can seem so gray
Even when the wind's not blowing, the tides can turn your way
And when the water's raging, beneath skies that seem so blue
It's just your body aging, and it has nothing to do with you
So now when our God comes calling, I'll hold your hand and stroke your hair
Yes, as snowflakes start falling, I will look for you everywhere
And Mother, as you start flying, remember as you rise above
Marlene, you are not dying, but finding everlasting love
One child goes home tomorrow to embrace the Father and the Son
One child who knows no sorrow, for life has just begun
Heaven is her home
The doors are shut and the
curtains and blinds pulled.
Inside the child stands tall.
She's fighting a war on her
own home front she's so small.
A battle which she can't win.
Her name is that of  choice any
name she answers too.
Dumb, stupid and bad girl are
the ones they scream at her.
She sits sad, hurt and confused.
She dare not tell a soul but she
kneels and prayers Dear God can
I come live in Heaven with you?
There I know I am loved everyday
by you, no more pain or beatings.
Once in awhile you will find her
hidden way back in the closet,
with tears streaming down her head.
No one sees them because she hides
them well behind the mask of smiles.
Her cloths are old, dirty and they stink.
Kids, at school torment and bully her.
They laugh and tell her she's nothing
but trash, she stands numb.
She closes her eyes and prayers I want
to come to heaven.
Days, weeks and months pass them by.
Not one person asks or notices that she
is no longer around.
You see she decided to go on home to
heaven.
You and I
You and I.
You.
Your heart blazed,
with a warmth of spirit,
soothing,
alluring,
soaked in truth.
Your smile burned,
branding me permanently,
gentle,
tender,
enveloping my being.
Your love was complete,
from the depths of your soul,
unsaid,
yet fierce,
bathed in silent knowing.
Your dreams were poetic,
fluttering in the afternoon breeze,
infused with the distilled essence of rhyme.
I.
I squandered your generosity of spirit.
I vainly discarded your priceless poems.
Now I stand,
alone,
empty,
desolate,
wasting away,
rotting inside, day by day.
The Lord's Peace
Peace
The chaos is shedding
Piece
Of happiness is floating
Cease
The madness..chaos is concealing
Peace
Comes from the Lord -
To Him who mends us all...
To Him who forgives all of our sins
And downfalls
And answers everyone's calls
Difficult Trials -Part 1-
Turn the wheel
Out of curiosity
I'll be generous...you'll receive
Something special...something to make you whole
Though the trials you must run through
Are a great struggle that can easily
Pull you down
And I want to erase your frown
You will feel way better about yourself
Just trust me...take my hand...
I'll encourage you to have a satisfying time
Just for your own liking
We'll be hiking
Those somewhat difficult hardships
Together for eternity
We'll spend time in the future
Together in unity
*******he sea...Let's flee and be free!
LOOK how nice you look!
Trample those insufferable nuisances
That dare put you down
To the sea floor
I'll push them to the core!
Feel free to walk the
Road of Recovery
The soldier, the war, and I
The soldier, the war, and I
Today I am home and thinking to my self..
What would I be doing if I had a soldier coming home to me and my family?
What would I be doing if I was the soldier looking to going home to my family?
And then, I look back at all the years passed since this last war..
Many children have grown to become men, Others have grown to become soldiers
Where would I be if I had gone to the war and fought for my country?
Where would I be if I had gone and came back safely?
Where would I be if I had not gone at all because I was not qualified to go?
Would I be with my family or in a hospital injured?
Would I be standing proud, and laughing with my friends and family?
Or would I be dead, as I never got to come back?
Today I am home and thinking to myself..
Thinking of all of those brave soldiers, children still
Who are out there, suffering.. And some ill
Today I am home and thinking to myself..
How many woman are crying because of their gone loved ones
How many men are crying for their loved and missed ones
How many children are fatherless or motherless, or both!
And at the end I stop. I think no more..
I am grateful for the things I have,
I am grateful for the people who surround me...
And I am sure grateful to never have gone to a war; yet,
I sure appreciate the thoughts, courage, life, and suffering
Of all of those who have been touched by it.
Am I Still Forgiven
I did it again; I need forgiven.
Will He still forgive me even though I've fallen before?
I've fallen into these same sins countless times before;
I still haven't learned my lesson.
I am an ignorant hypocrite.
Am I still forgiven?
Christmas Cometh
Christmas Cometh
by Ingrid Showalter Swift
Through a wind that never stops blowing
the house holds fast to the light
flickering candles in each window
hope calling out over a canvas of landscape base painted
in solid white
Auburn gold shadows creep along the horizon
where morning and night crest like waves upon each other
frothing sudden color in thier blending fight
Ruby red undertones flame up across the frost filled clouds
then die away slowly to golds and then ice gray
and then moonless white
in the lights of a passing car... flakes ignite..dazzle and die away again
an owl ...its bright black eyes
against round white face
calls out
"ahhhhooooooooooo"
swoops down across the vast field
its feathers struck out white
like white flames held aloft..........or flashing silver polished metal
against black forest and gray sky...
against
the now darkening of night
and I am reminded of a book from my childhood
that read...
"Who.... who... who ....are you?"
The candles flicker on dainty dancers of hope
leaping and falling and leaping again...
so like myself...I have to wonder...
do they never learn? do they never give up?
Turning from the window I smile at all the richness of the bright within
the colors of red and green...
the sparkle of packages and bows not yet even wrapped
but that will lie beneath my tree in time
the crackle of a wood fire...the smells of pine bows and of things I have collected
to celebrate these days
and I am merry ...in my soul
ever hopeful ever believing...ever true
ever listening ......
for your key hit
hoping it will still come someday...
if I am lucky...perhaps before Christmas has grown cold
in the hearth and heart once more
the owl calls out again
"Who who ......who are you?"
and I know who I am
I am a woman who loves a man
and for him I keep on the light
and ration like gold
the oil
Dakota Skies Part 1
My brother and I walk the south pasture on an early spring day,
The warmth of spring slowly melting, the cold of winter away.
The golds of old growth are broken by the green of new,
And we are drifting in dreams, though we have work to do.
Gathering the cows for milking, we allow Father Time to pass by,
When a shadow in the barbed wire catches my brother’s eye.
We run through the stubble of last season allowing dreams to lead,
Shaped by childhood stories which we had seen and read.
The cries draw us near where she hangs, limply as if half dead.
Each barb is cutting deeply. She slowly bleeds the earth red.
The life within her still pulsing its unbreakable bond
We make a solemn vow, a promise, to the crying, broken fawn.
Freeing her from her prison, we discover she is too weak,
She cannot stand or fight, has lost the force of her instinct.
My brother lifts her to his chest and orders me to go on.
For the chore of our cow gathering still must be done.
Miles between us and home, they trudge, a child with a child
Him dreaming of what will be when we tame the wild.
The weight of the burden breaks him and he falls to his knees.
Looks to the heavens for strength, but there is only me.
Her hooves drag along beside and I cradle her in my arms -
The weight of her pulling me downward, and yet I struggle on.
We entrust her to the dancing shadows of the oak tree in the yard,
And beg our mother for help but her motto is “Life is hard.
The veterinarian is more than we can spend. Milking still needs done.
Wild animals should be left to nature and the course which it will run.”
With a child’s gesture of love, we leave her and gather grain.
The labor of farm children - as essential as the rain.
(There is a Part 2 which can be found on my page.)
Grattitude First lesson in Christian Living
Dear little pony, the children’s clown,
Rough mane stands tall, his thick tail tumbles down.
Jiggety, jog.  Yes, some riders have frowned.
Dad can ride him with two feet on the ground!
He’s a tough little, nuggety, wonderful chap
Who can live on the roughest of diet mishap.
We don’t feed him oats much, he’ll founder on those,
But if you can ride him you’re right home and hosed!
He’s full of the tricks that intelligence brings.
He’s always a challenge until mummy sings
Out loud, lets him know that he can’t get away
With presenting his backside to children today.
The children must learn how to command him too.
It isn’t the easiest thing they must do,
But they look for the pleasure of riding again,
So they learn how to handle tough diamond disdain.
They must learn how to stop him from racing away
Towards home when his head is turned facing that way.
His mind is on resting with food in his trough,
But his job is to teach, and he does it but tough!
Tough diamond’s a doorway to wonderful thrills
In the glorious world of the horseman’s spills
And great challenges.  Once you can master this rascal
Nothing can daunt you.  Introductory sample
Of every excitement that riding can offer,
He’s cute, pert, adorable, and he can proffer
Essential abilities.  Gratitude is
The gateway to mastery, sire of bliss!
Every offence becomes laughable when
You think back to this tough little customer. Then
Your mind turns to teaching, as Daddy once did.
No more can the mud of offence cause a skid.
You’ll go round it.  Or jump it. There’s no need to fall
 When Gratitude’s mastered.  Remembering all
Those scuffles you had that your dad helped you through,
You’ll mother, or father, or teach others too.
Seasoned Child
A seasoned child with a voice to hear,
A voice that echoes through hearts and mind,
Her innocence shattered, but not through fear,
The perpetrators will pay their fine.
Her courage carries her through life,
And no one now will dare forget,
The echoes that will always strive
To change the fortunes of regret.
They cry too soon, “She’s gone away…”
Beneath the tears, you hear her breathe,
They pray to God and hope they may
Never see the country seethe.
The country’s hopes are carried on
The shoulders of this seasoned child,
With a voice that thunders at dawn,
This land of hers has been beguiled.
Beautiful Children
Singing around in love;
Smiles built from the ground.
Holding hands in the dance;
Laughing with brothers and sisters,
All in His Glorious Name.
Throughout His perfectly sculpted land:
Look around because this is it;
Look around because this is love;
Look around and know, understand, comprehend,
Rejoice because you are perfect;
You are God's beautiful children!
This Is My House
That is my house
So sweet so lovely
Very old but every
day
Looks new jolly
After long tiring
work
Its gives me a
sensation of
Cool lovely garden
Among my loving
children
And smiling
intimately hugging
My sweet wife
A mate of my every
life
That is my house
So caring and so
possessive
To attract me from
anywhere
Into its safe care
A place where
I sit into deep
meditation
With the Lord of my
creation
Blessing me with His
glare
Of heavenly cheer
This is my house
Which I erected
Brick by brick
Layer by layer
And watched it
taking shape
Year by year
Like my own children
Who perhaps will
never know
Through how much
pains
We two had to go
To give them a
shelter
Full of safety and
love
Yet we feel a
satisfaction
That its every
dimension
Tells a silent story
Of our true
dedication
This is my house
Which will tell our
story
Of love and
affection
To our coming
generation
When we would be no
more
But our souls will
anchor
Here to watch our
children
Living happily
As a family
Looking
satisfactorily
At our portraits
Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Baggage Claim
Drained to my very heart by our slow-paced arrival,
          I wander through tasteless decor to the metal arches
                                                Beyond which a future is unfurled.
My bag’s innards are spilled like blood in the Bible
          Before the cold gaze of the armed man who marches;
                                                He holds the key to this new world.
The mechanistic arch stands and takes quasi-sentience
          Beside passport control, piercing my finely popped
                                                Eardrums with sonic solemnity.
I am refused by technology but stagger forward hence
          Into baggage claim where a suitcase pile is propped
                                                Up like a holiday Tetris calamity.
My suitcase is soul black and with difficulty is found,
          In its lucid eagerness to fasten itself a faux family;
			   Airports are filled with pretences.
Now we are away again, small trolley safe and sound,
          On the road from snow, heat is where I plan to be.
                                                Our intrepid journey commences...
yours are yours,
who has come to this world without
going?
Dear Girl, mummy hates you not,
she spoke right for you, alright
she held you close, by heart
she dream for you a better you in a
lovely home with a brighter clue.
O Girl!
I wonder why you wander around
homes,
thinking solace is hidden
behind mummy's home,
and you went out home for days.
Dear Girl, life isnt so
as you thinking
That's Where The Lord Lives
I walk outside to see all that I can see.
Over there is our house, our home,
In the distance, you can see.
And that place of hallowed happiness
Forever has been our home
And forever will be so evermore.
That house is small but raised us tall,
From the perfect parents who loved us so
To the perfect sister for which every man would want.
The house built us all up strong.
More than a mere building,
It is a place to love and be loved,
A place that hands you hope that you give right back,
And a place of everlasting faith.
This home is where my parents taught me about God
And opened me up to Jesus.
They opened the eyes of the blind for all to see,
And the blind included me.
They taught me to be the best I can be;
The best things in life are free.
They have taught us so well,
And they all have saved my soul.
Even if I am not there now,
I carry Him with me.
I carry them with me.
I carry Their values and Their teachings with me.
In this house, this home,
We reside.
We cannot forget this.
This is where my Mother lives.
This is where my Father lives.
This is where my Sister lives.
This is where We live,
In this loving, caring, beautiful home
They made just for us.
We cannot forget this either.
This is where it all began.
This is where the hunger and thirst was created;
This is where we are fulfilled.
We cannot, we must not forget this:
This is where God lives.
This is where Jesus lives.
This is where The Lord lives;
The Father and The Almighty.
This is where We live;
This is where We reside.
We must not forget this.
We must not forget this:
What a beautiful and perfect life this is.
Our Divine Haven
This town was the place we used to call our haven
You don’t remember which road we’ve driven on
The stars were shining against your cherished soul
You’re a part of my belongings
You’re ascending above the ground
The peace is still like hidden treasure – it’s bound to be found
I believe in you…I put my faith in you
After the miracles you’ve performed
You don’t agree with what you truly are
The sky is grieving
You jump from puddle to puddle
You’re struggling to meet your destiny
Even if your body is saturated in sweat
You must keep your head above the sea
Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
I could tell you've been stressing out
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me
Each melody is an exquisite sound that bounces into our ears
Commotion and strife will cease and your heart will be free
We’ll flee  together…despite the unwholesome weather
The voyage has just begun…hold my hand and we’ll rise like the sun
Trust me…we will be strengthened and well-equipped before we take that road of victory
Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You’d rather be drifting away and never be seen again
I wanna change your mind and erase your frown
Take your mind off of the distressful past
Let loose your strain on me
Hey! I know you’re stronger than you realize
You’re not a failure – don’t be disheartened
Don’t worry…you and I will earn our future prize
This mess will clear up in a moment
Just stay by my side and never depart
From the light… I promise that we’ll endure till the end
Just stay nearby and our hope won’t tear apart
We are willing to do anything to attain our wishes and delight
Let’s take action and snatch our glory before our time is up
Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You've been trying to keep a steady pace
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me
Let loose your stress on me…
Don’t be under pressure
Let me handle your anxiety…
Reach towards our divine haven
Do you need a helping hand?
I wish you a carefree
Future
A Chipped Heart
A Chipped Heart...
Dreaming, my heart brittle as glass,
my solitary facade a pitiful farce,
shards tearing out of my skin,
seeking release, from cages within,
I am lost, in the dream,
bellowing out a silent scream,
torn from reality, drowning in the now,
yet I refuse,
I refuse to succumb,
I refuse to bow.
My chipped heart, may be wounded,
wreathed in pain,
still,
I believe, love, truth, belonging,
will take my hand,
again...
Come to live with honour
You come to divide property after the death of my dad.
you 'd a fight with my mum your attitude was really bad.
you blamed me after he died I 'm only parent's loving boy,
you discriminated my birth never bought your choice of toy.
I donate happily if you come to share moments of my sad.
you 're my blood relation what was need to come with force?
why did you think, I don't support you that needs an endorse?
Noone can take property away you see dad why 're you so mad?
we were born together in a family and played in childhood,
you come to fight when others threatened me as Robin hood.
you listen your wife that's good, no need to insult mum,
if your son will treat you in the same way as it's in scum.
revise your mind and find something is wrong in your attitude,
we 'll die one day, come to live with honour no need to be rude.
What a wonderful mom in law I have
She is kind and caring in so many ways
She shows kindness at every turn
She says I love you without hesitation
And always has concern
She is wonderful and I love her so
Andrea is going to be 99 this year!
She has given the world to her sons
And no daughters, but she has
The best sons in the world I can say,
I married david her wonderful son,
Its been 35 years together for he is just like her
Its a treasure in this world I can say, for andrea
My mom in law had been robbed 3 times and had to move away
Away from her home but she stood just as strong
She has been graced by the Lord above
By getting to live with her sister in peace
For this little older lady has so much grace that she said without
Hesitation this is now my home and my new place
I cannot tell you how much it means to have my mom in law and me
The Romans Road To Heaven
In the Bible book of Romans there is a simple way
To know the way to heaven that you can know today.
The first truth we must realize is there’s not a righteous one;
In Romans three it’s stated—verse ten says, “There is none.”
We’re shown that we are sinners, as shown in chapter three;
Verse twenty-three says clearly it includes you and me.
Then we must know the sentence:  it’s a death that separates
Us from a home in heaven in an eternal state.
That passage there in Romans starts out in chapter six,
Verse twenty-three states clearly the penalty is fixed.
We see the reason for it in Romans chapter five:
Verse twelve says one man sinned then, now all who are alive
Have this sentence passed upon them, but now look at verse eight!
For Christ has paid the sentence, we can enter heaven’s gate!
As we go back and read it in chapter six again,
Verse twenty-three has good news of forgiveness from our sin!
We all have earned the wages of death to come some day,
But God’s love has provided eternal life this way:
His gift, Christ dying for us, we now by faith receive:
The act of Him receiving is simply to believe.
For chapter ten and verses ten through verse thirteen
Explain the simple process that can be clearly seen:
Confess now the Lord Jesus, with your heart now believe,
And call upon the Savior, this new life to receive!
Then we can know forever that we are justified,
Secure in Him forever who for us one day died.
See Romans five, verse one now; see Romans 8:1, too;
Then read the final verses to see this blessing true.
Start at verse twenty-nine there and see God’s wondrous love,
And how He has secured you that home in heaven above!
Yes, in this book of Romans a road God clearly shows
How we can go to heaven, and for sure it we can know!
Moments in time
It’s not a ‘cloud of issues’ to deal with
but a crowd of witnesses that surrounds us;
with different personalities and gifts to offer
remind us that we’re all unique creatures
that God has made across time and space.
Moments in time enable us to change gears,
provoked by situations that bring to reflection;
relationships weave as crucial elements,
to our standards and expectations.
By way of committing to affairs of life,
there’s meaning, home to grace –
and it’s home to God that makes us wonder
his ways are certainly not our ways.
The concept of bitachon  takes us on a journey,
like a beautiful sanctuary within is being shared.
in the fullness of life’s experiences speak therefore –
how integral God is in each of our lives.
he makes us whole again, complete in inner dimension;
with peace that embraces all in a right relationship,
truly, a metaphor for the heart of life, a sacrament --
that provides grace and sanctity to be holy.
The God of love speaks and enters our inner sanctuary -
the heart which acts like a third eye in general;
hence, human struggles echo who we are
that define perseverance and faith in the living God.
We have cried enough tears in our lives
with a tremendous amount of optimism;
though as it sometimes seems a mystery, a problem -
that becomes a straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Aimed at transforming our lives into pieces of hope
where love is shared in many forms and shapes;
God dwells at the heart of every human being,
his interconnectedness defines his essence with us.
What a great gift to keep that in our minds,
it is God and us and those around us;
ilustrate a beautiful symmetry, another episode
that sustains us to keep in the race, keep in the game.
With a vivid recall of events in the life passed by,
a way of emphasizing how God keeps us strong
a response to what life is; in moments of time – he’s still there.
one with the Father, and the Father is in him.
As Mark Twain said in one of his many writings,
“it is not what I don’t understand about the Bible
that bothers me.  It is what I do understand!’ He’s everything;
for we are in him, and he is in us;  we’re his sons and daughters.
Note;
Bitachon - a Jewish word which means “trust in God,” plays a critical role in jewish thought.  Just as a person should strive to observe Mitzvot, he or she should try to develop bitachon, a consciousness that God is actively involved in our lives.
MLK - 1929 - 1968
MLK...
(January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)
they shot you down
all those years ago
but
your dream lives on
and always will
for though much has been
gained since you dreamed
your dream
there is much to fight for
and much more to struggle for
and much, much more
to fight for still
so
your dream resounds in
our hearts and we pledge
this to you today
for though they shot you down
all those years ago on a memphis day
we shall overcome
this we do believe
deep in our hearts
that
we shall overcome
someday...
From the heart of society
Theres a girl
she pours out her heart
gives him everything
changes her hair goes to get
fat sucked out of her cause no
one tells her that she really is
beautiful she goes home to see him in bed
kissing another girl, then get up and smack her around
people ask where she got her brusies and why she hides her face
but behinde that mask hideing her scars is a girl fearing for her life
scared to go home to that man that just might give her more scars.
Theres a guy
who takes care of his brother
comes home and covers his brothers ears
while his mommy and daddy make him fear
fear for his life his mom brings home different guys
every night, daddy is never home but when he is
they fear for  there life that just maybe that might be the last day
the last breath they live to take
Next day he comes home and sees mommy on the floor bleedin
his little brother tied to the bed stabed in he chest
he tries to run but trips and falls
three week later the found him floating down the river..
These are the  people we ignore every day
the ones that cry out for help
 the ones that need us the most..
The ones that are pimped out and dont see there beauty
 the ones that hide the scars that the one they love put on there face
This is our world and society today
It Took A Lot of Faith
If they ask me how I did it,
How I got here today,
I will love and laugh and smile
And say, "It took a lot of faith."
Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Tipping
Gracious smiles, a waiter waiting.
The service: quite nice actually.
The drinks cool and food sating
My average appetite factually;
Who knew they had coca cola here
In the middle of the desert... odd
Isn’t it? I ordered water and beer
And here arrives our saviour, god
And leader, dressed in a brown
Shirt despite the pre-mentioned
Heat. He never wears a frown,
Even at rush hour not tensioned.
7.30 comes and goes, morning
Or night, we arrive, are seated
And eat. The waiter is fawning
But nice, the food is all treated
And we eat it all up, fulfilled by
A fountain of beverages he will
Provide. Full, we give a goodbye,
And place tips away from the till
So the manager cannot see, risky
Business. But how to divide the
Cost? Calculators grant only frisky
Fractions, I only had a mint tea!
God Wants You to Be With Him Forever
 God Wants You To Be With Him forever!
Heaven can one day be your
 eternal home!
You can have a mansion
 next to God’s throne?
You can know for a certainty…
Where you’ll be spending eternity.
Through Christ, your sins
 can be forgiven!
Christ’ love can change
 the way you’re livin’!
You can know
beyond any doubt.
What true life is all about!
You can know
 the peace of God today!
Meditate on God’s word
 and what it has to say!
Why not give your heart to him?
And know what it means
 to be born again!
Your life can have
 a Godly direction!
And accept his heart-felt invitation?
You can know God’s
life changing power?
What are you waiting for?
This could be YOUR hour!
Our Love Is Enough
We don't need to go out and party,
We don't need to drink,
We don't need to socialize,
We don't need to go shopping,
We don't need to spend money,
We don't need to go to a movie,
We don't need to watch sporting events,
We don't need to go out to eat,
Because we found love,
And our love is enough.
Standing behind a glass wall.
I've had a taste,
Just not the full platter.
I'm ready for the cake,
But all I have is batter.
God's Plan for Marriage
There’s a truth that remains since
the beginning of time.
God created man and woman,
 with marriage in mind.
From the dust of the ground,
Adam was formed.
From his side came Eve.  A new life was “born!”
God’s design for marriage became
very evident and clear…
If not for Adam and Eve,
 none of us would be here!
Marriage is a blessing from God.
A gift from God above.
A man and a woman come together
 as an expression of their love.
Anything different than one man
and woman is perverted.
This is a lie from our culture that
 is trying to be “inserted.”
God gave us all a natural love
with a strong ambition.
To come as a husband and wife
is a God given intention!
Read from the books of Genesis
 thru Revelation…
God’s idea of marriage is
 for any person or nation.
Many can try to change what God
 has already designed.
It’s no wonder why so many have
“confused” minds.
Let’s come back to God and
 trust him with our life!
The one who set up marriage as;
“one husband and one wife!”
Where
Where why what who how
I ask these questions
Everyday i cant find Home
Where is home
Why can't I see home
Who's at home
How to get home
What does home feel
Like
I know
Home feels great to the touch
Warmth to the heart
Love to the soul
Brings peace to the body
Home is where love stands
The love that sticks to you
Fills your body
Where why what who how
That is home now close your
Eyes and go
She
A sweetly-scented, earthy rain-storm,
she came to me,
thunderously raging with raw emotion,
she came to me,
drenched in the essence of truth,
she came to me,
she touched a chord deep inside,
she strummed away all emptiness,
she came to me,
once...
she comes to me,
still...
a gentle presence filling my life,
she comes to me,
still,
a healing spirit soothing all inner strife.
Prayer for a Soldier
I wish for you encompassing protection, a little extra of Gods attention to follow you
wherever you roam until you return safely home.
I wish for you peace and love, a special tie from God above to keep you feeling safe
and warm even in the middle of a storm.
I wish for you true understanding, a secret insight to what he's planning, in this war
and in your life so you wont be broken by the strife. So you will know what is meant
to be will be and that you will make it back home safely.
No one will be able to bring you harm.
You will return home to your family's arms.
This prayer I send out for you, a soldier who is strong and true, a man of great
nobility, may you have the strength to BE ALL YOU CAN BE!
Abide in the Light
You abide in the light
I’ll miss you…when you venture off at night
Don’t forget me…
Don’t discard me…
Don’t leave me…
Forgive me for drifting away from you…
Please forgive me…
Please don’t ignore me…
Hear my pleas…don’t turn the other direction…
Run with me…into heaven’s light
I’ve given you my soul…
I’ve shared with you my melody
I’ve fed you until you were full…
I’ve healed you when you were under the weather…
I’ve tried to bring us back together
You hang on the rope of hope
I’ll rely on you…I’ll cling to you…
You saved me from subsiding into the obscure abyss
Don’t reject me…
Don’t depart from me…
Don’t release me…
Respect me for who I’ve become
Please respect me…
Honor my presence
Protect me from any sort of harm
Is it in your nature to relieve my anguish?
I’ve been driven away by my affliction
I’ve set you free from Egypt…and lead you to the Promise Land
Have you forgotten my affection?
I’ve tried to empathize what you’re going through – I’ve gave you a helping hand
Don’t you understand? Will you ever understand?
You abide in the light
I’ll miss you…when you depart from my heart
Don’t forget me…
Don’t discard me…
Don’t mourn for me…
Forgive me for wishing for your absence…
Please forgive me…
Please don’t give up on me…
Hear my side of the story… don’t turn the other direction…
I’m still training for perfection
Run with me…until we arrive at home
Hold my hand and we’ll take divine flight
I’ve cherished you for so long
I’ve lead you to my home town –
Do you remember where you and I belong?
I’ve given you my trust…
I’ve shared with you my dreams
You’re an apple to my eye
You were my angel of grace, promising concord –
Bestowing blessings upon me
Your vitality never wears off…
You were my lamp –
Glowing with serenity and elation
Tranquilizing my mind from despair and unease
I’ll never regret…meeting you that magnificent night
I knew that that was love at first sight
The moment you stepped foot into the light
Love Me Like I Love
I thought if I had patience
I thought if I had faith
I thought if I could wait
You'd come home to me
So I gave with all I had
And I loved with all I could
But it's time
I left this broken home behind
Now I'm packin up my bags
I'm headin towards the street
To find a place
Where I'll be whole again
To find a place where I'll be whole again
and find someone who'll love me like I love
When The Shepherd Calls
The Lord is coming with a shout.
   From Heaven He'll descend.
He'll take me too my Heavenly home
   and i'll never hurt again.
Joy and love will much abound
   around my Saviors throne.
There'll be no pain or sorrow there
   when Jesus takes me home.
Oh, happy day my heart cries out
   when I was cleansed from sin.
      I'm going to be with Jesus
         and i'll never cry again.
           I'll never hurt again,
             I'll never cry again.
         Heavens gates will open
              and i'll enter in.
            I'll never hurt again,
              I'll never cry again
         When my Shepherd calls
           and I go home with Him.
There'll be no cruelty in God's house.
   There will be no sightless eyes.
There will be peace,there will be joy,
   There will be love devine.
There will be no twisted bodies there.
    We will see no children die.
Jesus will gather them in His arms
    and wipe away tears from their eyes
When Jesus comes and takes you home
    with Him through Heavens door,
The things of earth will pass away
    you'll remember them no more.
Your mind will rest,your body too
    will no more feel the stress,
Of the painful daily struggle
    while you're longing for God's rest.
You'll share in His great Kingdom
    because you've loved His Son.
       You've been a faithfull servant
          and He'll say to you,"Well done."
            There'll never be hurt again.
                No one will cry again
            Heavens gates will open.
                We'll be welcomed in.
            No one will hurt again.
                 No one will cry again.
                 and we go home with Him
Dad
I got down on my knees and began to pray
To find the words I want to say
The Lord took you to his home up above
He will have to tell you of our love
Our home became sad that day
The day you were called away
The Lord only knows the tears we shed
Each night before we went to bed
It was hard to see the pain upon your face
We wished we could vanish it without a trace
Your pain was our pain too
We just did'nt know what to do
The years have slipped by very fast
Everyone wishes you could bring back the past
We want you to know of our love
Until we meet you again up above
Living the Dream
I am living the dream.
I stand here today,
Cannot believe what I am about to say,
But I am living the dream.
At times, it's tough
And it is not always easy.
I might be condemned
For choosing this path in life;
Some may think it's too bag of a risk.
When we give it our all,
Our passion and our might,
We can overcome and forget the fear
To become who we are meant to be.
I stand here today,
Another tear ready to wipe away:
You can do all you aspire to do!
Set your mind and never give up!
If I can do it,
You can too!
I can't believe I'm about to say this,
But I am living my dreams.
I am living the dream.
Through the Violent Storm
I've walked the lonely battlefield, For countless years of torment, Listening to the blasts of the cannons, Hearing the blood-curdling cries of the fallen, Watching the exploding shells, Claim many of innocent lives. I see the roaring fires burn, Smelling flesh melting off bone, Breathing in nothing but death, That corrupts the land, Poisoning the waters and lost souls. I walked the burning fields, Feeling the paths of a thousand bullets, Concealing the weeping wounds, Feeling the numbness in my arms and legs, As the blood flows down my face, Washing away my past sins. I've been through the violent storm, And the horrors that it brought, Just to come home to you, The thought of you kept me going, I've said my goodbyes to the old life, Because we shall start a new. Love was always on our side, Death may have used me as it's pawn, Until I found God on the battlefield, In the form of a wounded dying man, And he led me home to you, The only place I belong, With the one I truly love.
Balancing Love Throughout
Rising up in the morning saying to me “I love you.”
Going in and fixing her coffee, saying her prayers too.
She sits and smiles just for me.
Her quiet time is now waking to the news of the day on TV.
After a while about 45 minutes or so, she begins her day.
Asking if I want breakfast loving in her actions in every way.
She pitters and cleans after the meal.
Never ever complaining, oh’ the loves she makes me feel.
Cleaning the home, cleaning others, as she is a home care provider.
Her career she loves, aiding the elderly and the infirm in our small desert area.
Loving caring for others she has the light of love for others in her eyes.
How she balances home and her job is amazing never saying she’s tired, it truly mystifies.
The lady has God given strength, is faithful to me and the Lord all the day through.
Out of love for others God gives her a light in her eyes all for others and me too.
Hopefully my brethren you have the love that I have in your life.
I surely have my blessings and have mine, my best friend, my love and my spiritual wife.
The Old House and the New Home
The Old House and the New Home
©2011 C. Brent Cloyd
I’ve lived in houses in the country side
There with my family I did abide
By the dust and gravel of a country road
Much pride was taken in our humble abode
I’ve lived in houses perched on a hill
Many of which are not standing still
They provided shelter in their time
Provoked memories that make life rhyme
I’ve lived in a house on a city street
Where the neighbors came out at night to meet
I’ve lived in houses made of wood and stone
On avenues where children could safely roam
I’ve lived in houses of mortar and brick
Where driveways were paved and the grass was thick
I’ve enjoyed houses far better than most
Where friends would come and I could serve as host
But my current house seems like a foreign land
Where everyone wants to lend me a hand
Living in this place is not my desire
Of this arrangement I easily tire
The time has come for me to leave
To this old house I will not cleave
I no longer want a cottage here below
To a fine home in heaven soon I will go.
I long not for a mansion or streets of gold
But just a place where I will never grow old
A place where pain and sadness are never more
Where happiness is found on every shore
I am eager, yes ready, to move out
To possess my new home with a shout!
The promised home Jesus went to prepare
Death please come quickly, I want to be there.
When I Come Home
When I come home she'll greet me,
When I cry she'll lick away my tears.
When I run she'll run along side me,
When I sleep she'll lie on my bed.
When she comes home I'll greet her,
When she is hurt I'll bandage her wounds.
When she runs I'll be with her,
When she sleeps I'll gently pet her.
When I discipline her I'll be gentle,
When I pet her I'll sing.
When I hold her I'll hold her tight,
When I leave home I won't be gone long.
When she is dying I'll stay by her side,
When she is gone I'll pet her one last time.
When she is buried I'll visit her often,
When she is gone I'll love and miss her.
When I come home He'll greet me,
When I cry He'll comfort me.
When I leave home He'll be with me,
When I sleep Jesus will protect my bed.
Humble Walk Of The Lord
Appreciating nature from day to day,
The sunrise and sunset.
A day where you meet a caring friend,
Helping you to arrive home safely.
Miracles that enhance your day,
A friend that lends a helping hand.
Blessings from God,
A place of worship and friendship.
A piano concert appreciated,
Completed with humbleness.
Days with words and kindness,
Adding sunshine to your day.
Poems printed in the senior's calendar,
Read by your neighbours.
Activity noble and good,
A senior's blessing.
A retirement that is a humble walk of the lord,
Returning home safely.
Thankful appreciation,
Days of the church and God's blessing.
And the toil of the gods was great part 2
And the toil of the gods was great paert 2
Soon the inescapable truth will come hurdling home once again
We may face the end of life and dreams or we may finally ascend and be reborn
Together we must forge the path forward so as one we can understand where we have been
Once again they will set out in search of sustenance for a home that’s bloody and torn
In their code they will take with then the infinite knowledge of the ancients
Another planet a different sun, light-years away more of our people toil on
Now as we face the summit and re nearer the apex we do with their absence
Too much time has passed since the first fathers came and since they had gone
This immortal spirit remains trapped within this fragile shell
Our souls and blood hold the key to a powerful wisdom but the lock evades us all
Still the war is raging no gods or demons and not for tales of heaven and hell
A boundless eternal soul is the prize, defeat will be fatal the ultimate downfall
So many questions we ponder so often oddly frequent
What evolves to feel dread or fear where’s the need to dread ones own death
A celestial being is meant to be whole and completely transient
The coming test we must not fail or we will all share our last dieing breath
The veil can be lifted and the secrets in the palms of our hands
Moving thru time hurdling in space as the universe expands
The true forms we were denied but with salvation we may return to the creation
No longer bound no longer chained and never again forsaken
They forced on us the mind now the peace and liberty must be taken
Soon will see we all die or become one aware feeling boundless wise immortal and free
				AND GOD SAID LET {US} MAKE THEM IN {OUR}
IMAGE IN {OUR
] LIKELINESS.
Bring me home again
How did I end up here.?
How did I lose my way?
Tossed in this sea of destruction,
I drift further and further each day.
Loneliness surrounds me,
As the waves keep crashing in.
How do I get back ?
Bring me home again
Lost in the tidal wave of confusion
Surrounded by torture and shame
I feel as if I drowning
Immortalized in pain
Imprisoned by my past
Held captive by my mate
Is this all there is to my life
My unquestionable inevitable fate?
There has to be more than this
There must be another way
I refuse to believe You created me
Just to endure this pain every day.
But where do I belong in this great big
Massive world ?
Show me my place let Your will be unfurled
Father, Let the tide turn
Bring me home again
Are We Better Off?
In my day we played outside, riding horses,
Playing hide and seek and on swings and slides.
And only on rainy days
Were we confined inside to play.
We played slap jack, crazy eight, go fish
And Lincoln logs was our dish.
Everyone drank coffee and tea
No caffeine worries did they see
All our houses were painted bright
And no one heard of the lead base plight
The new homes of the day had asbestos,
But what the hey!
This was during World War II
Where our fathers, brothers, uncles and aunts
Left our homes for foreign lands.
Here at home when sirens screamed
It was our Air Raid Warning Drill.
And companies that worked through the night
Were required to paint their windows black
Safety was our countries goal
Here at home and on foreign soil.
We played at the lake and tanned or fried
When we got home a little cow cream was applied.
Where I lived prohibition was still affirmed
And Bootleggers were the cops major concern.
The air we breathed was just air
Unless a corral or hog farm were near.
Transportation was car, bus or train
The only planes I ever saw
Were B 29’s heading for foreign soil.
I can’t help but wonder how we survived
Compared to the rules and laws  we now abide.
 I just heard a well known man say
“No more Santa Claus he is to fat”
“It’s bad for kids to honor a man like that.”
The Christmas tree has become “Happy Holiday”
No prayers in school, It breaks the rules they say.
Religion in government there is no place
“In God We Trust” is a disgrace.
When was the last time the Constitution was read
Were our Forefathers out of their heads?
“Merry Holidays too and you best take a stand
If you want to continue to have Peace in Our Land.”
I Imagine Heaven
I imagine what heaven will be like.
I imagine skies so blue,
Glistening like diamonds set in the sky.
The sun shining so brightly,
Offering its warmth to me.
I imagine lush green meadows,
Whispering to me:
“Come, lay down, and rest awhile”
The trees, so large and so full of color,
Some offering luscious fruits,
I can see the flowers with all their hues,
Like precious jewels scattered everywhere.
Bursting with colors like an artistic canvas.
And their fragrance, overwhelms my senses,
Fills the air with their heavenly aroma.
Oh, I cannot leave out those beautiful animals.
They are so gentle, so marvelous.
I can lay with them and feed them.
I call to them and they come to play.
I imagine the waters,
Clear as crystals, fresh and sweet.
I imagine the streets will be of gold,
For my Father only gives the best.
What about the people?
I imagine Adam and Eve,
Noah and Jonah, and so many more,
Along with loved ones and dear ones,
At my home designed by my Father,
Sharing food, fun, love and laughter.
Most of all;
I imagine my Father and I,
Walking together in the garden.
His gentle face looks at me,
He holds my hand,
He gently speaks to me.
We sing songs together and laugh together.
My family comes to join us.
Wow, how very blessed I am.
Oh, how I imagine what heaven will be like.
He’s at the gate,
His angels surround Him,
His arms open wide,
He tells me,
Welcome home my Child.
Come home my child
Come home my child
you are the apple of my eye
you mean everything to me
and that's the way it will always be
Come home my child
I'll welcome you no matter what you say or do
come home my child
my Love will always be here for you
I understand if you need to take a little more time
for in my heart you'll always be mine.
How much parents dote on their children and Love them so much, We are all Gods' children
and he Loves' us more than anything, he waits for us to return home just like any Loving
parent does, he waits with his arms open wide, his door will never be closed when you knock
he will answer, to all Gods' Lost children everywhere he truly Loves you and he will always
care, Just call on him and he will be there.  God bless you all from Diane.
The Calling
And you oh Father judge of all mens hearts
have examined the core of our secret parts
for each mans conscience knows what is True
and has his choice of what he listens to
Those whose works are harmful have aversion to the Light
for they wish all deeds to be hidden away from sight
Oh Father the hearts the Son of Man could see
how is it possible the gift be given we
Those whom the Father loves with them he shares his mind
for those who want the Truth the shining Path will find
for he can see your thoughts and your hearts intent
those who want the Truth and how your thoughts are spent
All the things of man are preserved in your Book
the Lamb of God will unseal and within will look
all those doing righteousness will into kingdom come
the workers of whats harmful and the liars be undone
From the abundance of the heart does each one speak
and how you judge another in oneself will complete
my spirit my God is molded by your hand
I listen to your discipline and your reprimand
Oh beloved children you are close to his heart
sought he has your redemption from the very start
the wayward sons left their home and into Egypt ran
spent their inheritance on things that will not stand
God freely offers Life within his heart and home
with a Loving family on need never be alone
come break bread together fellowship do share
let Gods loving kindness give your heart repair
Return to your Fathers house and his grand estate
with open arms he'll take you home and repatriate
precious to the Father is every child born
why live in rebellion and loss of Love do mourn
As the Word of God foretold
this dispensations end behold
the age of Gods Kingdom to unfold
spoken by the ancients in days of old
Those who know the Truth watch in great delight
God will collect together those precious in his sight
come you who are laden heavy give to him your pain
embraced within his loving arms be free to Love again
I Am
I am not a perfect person,
My hair doesn't stay in place,
I spill things a lot,
I seem pretty clumsy,
I sometimes fight,
Some days nothing seems to go right,
But when I think of you Lord,
And take a step back,
I remember how amazing my LIFE is,
I just start to see that maybe,
I would be better off imperfect,
As how else would I learn...
What you have tought me Lord...
ABODES
There isn’t a place I haven’t abode
a river mansion or a tree by the road
in a multitude of places not our home
from commune havens to being alone
Was cold and hungry and lived on the street
with two small children and nothing to eat
I asked you to care and you threw us away
erased all my words despised what I say
We’ve slept in the fields and a bus stop bench
none who cared to help when in a pinch
I’ve seen men at their worst and their best
the crazy ones who took us in as their guest
Lived in house that had no doors
got one now by the oceans shores
I have lived with plenty and without a dime
the people I remember gave us their time
The sectarian churches have I attended
but so few hearts their revivals amended
no sect can save you when you stand before God
if you haven’t learned love your thoughts still flawed
I’ve been coast to coast livin’ on the street
the stories I can tell bout the people we meet
the cars that stopped with sacks for a meal
so the children had milk and oranges to peel
I’ve been close to heaven definitely hell
felt the sleep of death for preference dwell
the most important lesson I ever learned
it is by the forge my wisdom earned
I’ve read the Bible so many times
stories of love and hate for hearts reminds
what a man would do to acquire affection
cave to opinions to avoid rejection
I know I will always consider you
knowing I don’t know what you’ve been through
you can rest assured I’m here to learn
my choices are the only ones I can turn
I could wax eloquent on prophecy
but like Paul don’t matter if loves not in me
to every kind of learning sold my soul
but if you don’t count my hearts not whole
So much in life we have to consider
experiences that can help or hinder
the so called guidance that many teach
a whole new Talmud do they preach
Funny thing in the Word of God
they were royalty or in sandals shod
one can never judge by their appearance
by their outside to truths adherence
I read every mythology by grade seven
all their thoughts bout hell and heaven
the Bible teaches that death is sleep
till the resurrections judgments keep
If you don’t examine all things taught
you won’t know the lies that live in thought
if you think you already know all truth
and that learning is only sought in youth
When you’ve unraveled the knowledge of the universe
and fully apprehend and can death reverse
when you are perfect and my attention demand
and like my Lord extend understand
I’ll always give a care bout who you are
but if Loves not your teacher you’re not my STAR
if you don’t seek love for earths family
what possible connection could you find in me
A CALL FROM DAD
My child the time is growing short.
We really need to talk.
There are things that you don't understand,
So you rave and rant and balk.
You want to captain your own ship,
Won't kneal before a Master,
Because many who have lived by faith,
Have met with some disaster;
But all men serve a god, My Child,
Be he low or noble born;
But it seems the more a man is blessed,
The more he tends to scorn,
All that's good and right in life,
And all that makes good sense;
But for showing such distain,
There must be recompense.
The sheep who stay within the fold,
Are fed, protected, sheltered;
But those who shun the Shepherd's care,
Are food for wolves and buzzards.
Come home to Me while there's still time,
I'll open wide the door.
Come home while I still reach for you,
Be strange to Me no more.
                                         Judy Ball
This body ages, withers and dies.
The spirit lives on.
Talking am I
Okay I am not gonna talk deep any more
You guys can get it from somebody else
I am through
Lol
I am going to be talking about nonsense funny stuffs
Things that interest me
Whether you like it or not
Ha my pen
My choosing
My topic
Would you believe I sent the fart poem out to my entire office ?
For a minute there I thought I was in trouble
But sometimes you have to do what you have to do
What you feel like it
That’s it my friend – live for the moment
Why do people like goodbye so much?
I keep reading poems about goodbye
I hate goodbye
If I say goodbye to you
You can bet I won’t see you again
That is just me
Why leave it hanging?
I have to save enough leave so I can take off
To see my niece
I am afraid by the time I go to see her
She is going to say ‘who is that lady?’
Does little thing give you pleasure?
It does for me
I found a good deal on a sport rider
I was tickled pink
You would think I won a lottery
I don’t know why
I am just easily pleased
Are you a creature of habits?
Do you find yourself watching the same shows
Eating the same food
At the same restaurants?
What is it?
Why can’t we do things out of the ordinary?
Like don’t ever do anything the same twice
Wouldn’t that be fun?
But we would run out of things to do
Pretty quick
But that would be fun
Haha
Anyway
I think I’ll stop for now
I am done talking
I Came Home Again
Across those fields I came home again,
   my foot fell assured
   on those frozen seas of white,
   again ----
That Titan-Crunch neath me,
   those twinkling red lights
   dazzle still, and the puffing chimneys
   alight,
   with certain company, good food
   and bright eyes
Alive, how the horizon has nestled hopes,
   snug windows of firelight ----
   stars of the earth,
   and the moon just aloft to make a crown;
Above the heavens gaze down,
   among them those celestial spheres,
   (an oft traveled dome)
Of this I am certain;
   without err and pause ----
If Christ were here,
   (he'd call it home)
The Age Old Problem Of Trash
History takes us back, two thousand years ago,
People walked and rode, where'er they had to go.
News would travel slow, and folks would gather roun',
To hear the latest thing, passed from town to town.
Cities had a well, where water could be drawn,
Families lived in homes, without a yard or lawn.
A common thing like trash, was something of a chore,
None had rubbish cans, to sit out by the door.
Carried to a cart, drawn outside the city wall,
Where a pit of fire, was made to burn it all.
All lived day to day, with smoke and ash about,
Protection from disease, the fire could ne'er go out.
Now there's a City built, untouched by human hand,
The folks of olden days, called it Beulah Land.
It has walls and gates, and flowing water too,
And every home afffords, a quite spectacular view.
The Builder there is wise, and never let's trash in,
The disease it causes has a name, known to Him as sin.
The news has traveled slowly, even on modern earth,
The trash of deadly sin, is spread to all at birth.
Now Gehena was the word, they called their fire pit,
The 'never ending fire', the title seemed to fit.
The Builder made a pit, of fire to burn as well,
Far away from Beulah, a place we know as Hell.
The source of sin is Satan, rebellious from the start,
He corrupts each man, from deep within the heart.
So Hell was made for Satan, to rid the world of sin,
And on the day of Judgment, he will be cast in.
The Builder sent His Son, to cure us all from sin,
Starting from the heart, He cleanses us within.
This miracle must start, while we yet draw breath,
Whether young or old, but surely before death.
Sin is from within, staining soul and spirit,
The Son can throw it out, eternal fire to sear it.
But once the body dies, with sin stain still in place,
Sin and soul entwined, the fire of Hell will face.
A morbid picture true, but not the Builder's plan,
He made in Beulah Land, a home for every man.
He loves us everyone, enough to keep us free,
Allowing everyone, to choose their destiny.
How can anyone, such a marvelous Gift receive?
The Builder's price is this, simply just believe.
Love's Strong Bond And Guiding Hand
There once was a young, freckled faced girl, who had the world
wrapped around her finger.
The world was glad to be touched by such a precious hand as hers.
Talent did flow from
these precious hands to the artist's canvas.
Dreams never ceased, and love did flow. The
sky was the limit, of what God and this young girl could achieve.
In a small farming town, there was a young man,
the fourth brown eyed, curly haired son of five boys from a
loving couple. He worshipped God,
and worked hard on his job and also at church for Jesus. He had
a simple prayer one day to find a christian wife to
be his help mate. God has a plan for your
life, even if we don't see it.
The freckled face girl, was not expecting
to find a life long mate in Butler, GA, the home of
her grandparents, because she too had
prayed for a christian man to share her life. The girl
had to mature and find her way in the world,
then God put a matchmaker into her life.
The Curly haired young man of twently nine,
thought that God had not heard his prayer, he
moved out of his parents home to make his
way in the world. His neighbor Mrs. Laurette
Stewart, thought he would make a fine husband
for the freckled face girl. A blind date was
set, it was love at first sight and God had
found a mate for the young couple that prayed.
Inspried by James Fraser's poem Farm Girl
Heaven or Hell or Earth
Heaven,
The home of god and all good,
Every one thinks its THE best place to be,
Some might think it's the worst place to be.
Hell,
The home of the devil and all bad,
Every one thinks hell is THE worst place to be,
Some might think it's the greatest place to be.
Earth,
The home of war, love, and nature.
War is killing violence and blood.
Love if you lucky is great and beautiful,
or could be the killer of most people today.
Nature with storms, hunting, and dyeing.
Sweet Angel
Oh, my sweet angel
an angel on earth
how I mourn your pain
your heart lost it's berth
are there any remains?
that I could bear the burden
which carries your pain
I would do so right now
without any refrain
I can feel your heartbeat
so closely to mine
we were once together
before there was time
it was from the water
that we were both bourne
and on water we travel
from where we were torn
sprung forth from the oneness
asail on the sea
we chart out a new course
to find unity
I have fleeting memories
of home that was lost
we all have one true name
and we all bear the cost
of paradise broken
though all of us different
we  all were the same
that is why I can feel you
down deep in my heart
we are always together
though we're far apart
it has been from the beginning
and right from the start
so give me your burdens
let me soothe your pain
for with my own troubles
you have done the same
it is time to home now
for there's no one to blame
Passionate
I would not have desired any thing less
Than to hear your sweet voice
Each day I wake up with an expectation
A hope and a continuous desire
To feel your warmth and smell your scent
You have not failed for once
Whenever I desired you, you have always been there
In the midnights when the cold is freezing
I can only turn around the bed
And wished you were there
Then I will feel your arms around me
And the cold is gone
In the loneliness of the mind
When I desire someone to speak to
And no one cares to know how I feel
You have always come at the right time
With the right words you soothe my nerves
Your ever presence is my desire
I wish we stay together all day
And that you don’t leave when the sun sets
You don’t have any other home than this
Come and make your home in my place forever
I love you really.
Heat
Heat
It is hot! The air above me suffocates, lacking breeze.
This July eve, the heat affects me most.
Tomorrow, I will end one affiliation and begin anew.
The future causes my brow to arch, the heat adding to my discomfort.
This house, my home is large and strong, but may not survive the coming storm.
All before me, I must be willing to cede as a consequence of this nights decisions.
I feel the heat began to crescendo into a fire storm.
I envision myself appearing at the very gates of Hell.
I finish my dress and put on my coat realizing, soon, this will be my home no longer.
I will be branded a traitor in my native country, a patriot in my new.
As I sit in the Congress, I am alone if not for Jefferson and my Congressional Secretary. The
document prepared by Jefferson beckons my signature. I am overcome with emotion as I,
John Hancock, President of the Congress, slowly, in large bold script, sign The Declaration of
Independence.
As I return to my home, I realize this heat will not go away for a long time.
I return to say goodbye.
Another Saints gone home
We just got the news today
she will soon be going away
the doctors done all that they can do
but it's not over for her
she's just going home
she's faught her fight
Her battles now are through
another saints gone home Hallelujah
another child of God reaches Her heavenly home
another saints gone home Hallelujah
Praise the Lord
for now at last her victory is won
When the time has come for me to go away
I want my friends and family to see
that its not time to mourn
but to celebrate
this life I've lived
 I pray they all may sing
another saints gone on hallelujah
another child of God reaches the Heavenly gates
another saints gone home hallelujah
Praise the Lord
Some day we'll see her in the heavely home.
Dedicated to the memory of my grandmother Beulah Campbell who was a great
When Missing a Love One
She takes her ways so seriously.
He takes everything so hesitantly.
Both shared their lives since childhood.
Both were not misunderstood.
Their lives did not get complicated.
And so they decided to be dedicated.
They became close and very happy.
Her memory of growing up is so sappy.
He took the time to comb her hair.
She took time to be there.
She took a trip for a week.
He was emotionally weak.
Being away for the first time ever became a bother.
Both of them were not meant for other.
She was not home she felt not right.
He saw that she was full of new insight.
Their feeling becomes true.
They both said at the same time I love you.
She said she cried almost each night.
He said that he was waiting with a light.
She said she looked at the moon.
He said I hope she comes home soon.
Finally she came back.
She said he showed his emotions with no lack.
He said she said that she missed him and longingly.
She said he said that he was so lonely.
The final word is not words it’s just the look in her eyes.
And I know it is not any look that says good byes.
The Waves
Do you hear those waves crashing on the shore?
You might say someone was slamming at your door.
Oh, what I would give to ride those waves so high,
And never again to the shore draw nigh.
I would give money or even fame,
For a chance of those waves to tame.
I hear them crashing on the shore,
And it is those waves that I long for.
Soon that day will come when I will try my best,
To lie in the trough and rise with the crest.
When that crest pushes into the sky,
I will most nearly be able to fly.
I will ride the waves out to sea
The shore, I will no longer see.
I will whip the tide with my hands,
And from great distances see many lands.
For in the oceans I will stay,
Until I am called home for aye.
Yes, I would rather live and die in those waters of the world,
Than to spend another second on dry soil.
I would ask you to go with me on my quest among the fishes,
However, I am sure you are too young and have had better wishes.
Therefore, the old man left on that mornings tide,
Whipping that water as if it were his child’s own hide.
The old man left never to return,
As he reached the horizon he gave the water one last churn.
Up he flew with the greatest of ease,
Then down he floated like a cool summer breeze.
That was the last I ever saw of the old man,
Nevertheless, as I grow older I am beginning to understand.
His thoughts were pure and true at heart I know.
It was his destiny to the sea he must go.
I sometimes wonder where the old man could be,
But I do not worry for it is not in the sea.
No my friends, he was called home long ago.
For it is with Jesus that he does now stroll.
before the war
little boy sittin at home
good little boy said his prayers all alone
just before he said amen
he thought to ask his question again
when is daddy commin home?
when is daddy commin home? amen
nobody, put him on their shoulder's anymore
he used to climb on daddies back
when he had'em on the floor
everything that daddies did
his daddy did and more
just to play with the son
he verily did adore
in his heart the little boy grew
the vicious fact that he could not ignore
that a home without a daddy
is the home of the poor
why can't God just end all wars
why can't daddies talk with other daddies
and try to end this war
why can't daddies come home
and be what they was before
why can't daddies be what they
was before the war
The Pain Of A Young Widow
The pain of a young widow....
Her husband has just died and she can still smell his cologne
She can still remember the last words his beautiful lips spoke
"I love you.."
She cries and cries
Shes upset with herself...
Shes upset with God..
And shes upset with everyone who has happiness...
Shes upset with her friends geting over his death so quickly
She thinks"why'd he have to leave me"...
She stays home and looks at the window hoping that it was all a dream
That her new husband would come home with flowers and joy.....
As she sits she neglects everything.....
Her health......
She neglects her baby...
Her baby gets taken away..
She justs waves through the windows at the trees imagining and hoping....
She sits and waits...until shes tired of waiting...
She goes back to life thinking that she still has everything,....
The widow lost everything she wasn't young anymore.....
The pain of what used to be a young widow...
all the things
all the things I couldn't say to you before, I can say to you now
all the things I couldn't feel before, you've shown me how to feel them now
all the things I took for granted, you have made me see
all the things I see are imperfect, yet you still chose to love me.
I am not a genius, nor do I pretend to be
In your creation, you made who you want me to be
I can say and scream for all the world to hear
Love, love, love, love, love, it is pretty clear
all the things that people say, could never turn me from you
all the things that people do, bring me closer to you
all the things I don't understand you guide me through
all the things in this world couldn't keep me from calling on you
Your name is a sweet song, that's special to sing
Your Word is a light, the light of a High King
On this earth you placed a Son, in which He did bring
hope and happiness, for He is my everything
no matter what happens in my life, no matter the words that people say, or the dumb things
that people do
one day nothing will matter because I will be there with you.
His words are marked and His warning is set,
one day all will remember and will never forget,
your life on earth is being recorded every good deed and bad,
we will all wish one day, that we'd been better than what we had.
Our actions will be multiplied every single one,
His wrath will come about, and stay until it's done.
Whether willing to or not, one day all will see,
He is Lord above all else, and bow to their knee.
Confessions from their mouths, will soon be amplified,
the King of Kings will come, and can no longer be denied.  F
or all the things I know are true,
my home is in heaven, where is home for you?
Once Upon A Christmas
I stand at the window and watch the snow fall
It's been two hours since Billy left
The wind has built, a blizzard set in
And I can't put my mind at rest.
The snow has drifted blocking the road he took
But he knows his job, the cattle must be watered and fed
And hay for the baby calves to bed.
"I'll be all right," he said.
There is no school it is Christmas vacation
The radio predicted conditions to worsen.
With his family save and warm
He then sets about caring for those out in the storm.
TV and presents keep the children entertained
While I my hair do pull.
Dinner is ready and still Billys not home
And with questions like "When's daddy coming home?
And "Can I go out and play in the snow?"
It is hard for them to understand
It isn't just a snow fall, the danger is far to grave
Wander to far and they could be lost
And in turn perhaps lose their lives.
Two o'clock, three o'clock, four o'clock came
Finally Billy comes through the door
Wet, exhausted and frozen to the bone
He removed his outer garments and collapsed on the chair.
As he ate the children came
Excited to have daddy home
Satisfied he was safe and sound
They went back to their TV and games.
Chore time came and the blizzard ruled
I offered to do my share
He smiled and said, "Everything's fine.
Just the cow to milk and the pigs to feed
And I'll be right back inside. "
I put on my coat took shovel in hand
And worked at clearing the path.
In an hour it would be covered again
But I needed to have some fresh air.
All were in bed, the Christmas tree bright
The Nativity set caught my eye
Tenderly I picked up the manger, bow my head and say
"Thank You Baby Jesus and Happy Birthday."
                                                                Cile Beer
Boat of Horror
I hear the moans and cries of my neighbor next to me
Tied down on this boat of death
Where are we going?
Taken against our will
Towards a place of unspeakable cruelty
Our families, our homes, our lives
Taken away from us
Why?
Lie in filth and sicknesses
Tied in chains in the bottom of a boat
Little food, rats, feces, and filth
Slaves to these people
We sing our hymns
Quietly at first
Then it passes along to
Our brothers down the rows
And suddenly we are all one
From many different tribes
We are all brothers
In our singing
Until they tell us to
“Shut up”
The ones who don’t
Are punished
They take away all that we have
Even the one thing we all have in common
Our hymns
Why?
Why do we endure such torture
For doing nothing?
They call us savages
These people with light skin
Who are they to bind us Innocent
Take the babies away from the mothers
And will we ever see our families
Again?
No, no they say no
They say we are their property now
We are human too
We are human too!
And they call us savage
Who beat the women and children
For not working hard enough
In the sweltering heat
But who is savage?
They say we are stupid and
Do not allow us to learn
But we do anyway
They take our names
And give us new names
They take our religion and
Give us a new one
But we still worship
Our way
We yearn for our home
And our children’s children
Will do the same
But we pray
That one day they can
Go home again
Or at least be
Able to stand on both our feet
Home
Home is where the Heart is,
For we all know this
From the moment we are born
There is a home full of bliss
For those that don't,
It is sad but true
For in my heart
my home is for you.
Our home is full of happiness,
Gladness and Peace
Respect one and other
Before this world will cease.
For the light that shines through
Comes from me to you
My home is an open book
Please come take a look
Where there is Love,
There is Hate
The two strongest words
In this world to date.
For in my home
There is no Hate
For the love I have
Is for you too take.
For in this world
There is a price
The price of Love
It can be nice
Don't  let go
Of  what you have
Between YOU and ME
We can all be free
For in this world
Lets all stand tall
Embrace one and other
And be thankful ONE and ALL!!!
ONE CHAIN
I AM
One chain
away
from the day
when everything was so black
and grey
One chain
away
from when I actually care
about anything you have to say
One chain
away
from home sweet home
and home sweet home to stay
One chain
away
from getting down on my knees
to say thank you, God, and pray
One chain
away
from convincing myself
that I'm gonna make it
and be ok
One chain
away
from feeling hopeless
each and everyday
One chain
away
from being on my back
abused
confused
and under attack
when everything was so grey
and black
One chain
away
from coming out of the black and grey
into the light where I can finally see
One chain
away
  from breaking loose
and running free
from leaving you
and loving me
Amen, Good Times
Her special month is November,
 My special month is December,
Gather around the fireplace,
 look at the burning ember
 My special time to remember,
 Listen to the wind chimes,
 These are my good times,
 Hear my voice,
 Please feel rejoice.
 Amen.
 No time for depression,
 Time for love and affection,
 Streets filled with snow,
 We're under the misltoe,
 There we had our first kiss,
 I've never felt so much bliss,
 Listen to the wind chimes,
 These are my good times,
 Hear my voice,
 Please feel rejoice.
Amen.
 Its time for joy,
 Kids playing with their favorite toy,
Gathering around the Christmas tree,
 Always something jolly to see,
 Looking back at the year,
 Not a single tear,
 Flying reindeer,
Doing the shopping at the mall,
 Merry Christmas to all,
 Listen to the wind chimes,
These are my good times,
 Hear my voice,
 Please feel rejoice.
Amen.
We're coming home,
 As a kid thats all we've known,
 Our homecoming,
 Our family singing,
 We're coming home again,
 Celebration with our children,
 We're coming home again,
 Bringing our souls closer to Heaven.
Almost Home
I heard a shout and my vision was summoned to the skies,
To majestic colors that dazzled my eyes.
The sound of royal trumpets rang out so clear,
Accompanied with angels melodious voices that captivated my ears.
I started to rise with such a pace,
I could feel Gods glory upon my face.
I knew this day I was going home at last,
As I was jettisoned above the clouds so very fast.
Then my feet sat down upon a golden path that would lead my way,
To my eternal home on this glorious day.
There it stands, the most beautiful pearl laden gate I’ve ever seen,
And a little beyond is home so perfect and so serene.
Gabriel was there to send me back, he said I was to continue to share my love for the Lord,
It was not a request and leaving here was so very hard.
Then when I awoke, people and monitors were franticly moving all about,
But I was unable to move, and I tried to scream but I was unable to shout.
Then life started returning to that old shell of mine,
And someone shouted he’s alive, a miracle, I thought this guy must be out of his mind.
For I know what had happened was simply Gods will,
That I hadn’t quite finished fulfilling our deal.
Damaged (part 2)
One particular guy took advantage,
Of my dad choosing him to be with exclusively.
He ended up being with me in private and in public,
With this chick who resembled a beast,
Who did not resemble in any way of her hometown symbol.
Her appearance made a mockery of a Ruston peach
He had the nerve to call me a “b”,
In front of her and called the authorities
Only after a few days of visiting me at my home,
And getting busy with me.
My home and love life should be described as this:
Complete tragedy.
The list goes on of the men who did me wrong,
But it all links to how I was treated at home.
Like a puppet, walked over, talked badly to constantly
Always being told that I would let men get the best of me,
Always being told if I wanted to do certain things,
 That I would be another word for a garden tool.
Often I was called an educated fool.
Being held on to by someone who meant me no good
Was not helpful to me at all.
Often I wish that I had no dad,
Because he is the worst man that I ever had.
My home life was simply disadvantaged.
It was bad enough that we were poor.
Women don’t worry about a man:
Only focus on God’s plan
For you.
The real Father on whom I depend,
Your life he will manage.
Don’t settle for earthly men and even your father
Look to God for your inheritance.
So you won’t be damaged.
EVERLASTING LOVE
EVERLASTING LOVE
The revelation of God to us in His word is that He is love
Best displayed in the gift of His Son given to us from above
He was sent by the Father to be the sacrifice for our sin
By the shedding His blood He purchased our pardon.
The debt had been paid God’s wrath was appeased
He was raised from the dead the Father was pleased
By grace through faith we are forgiven and born again
By the power of the Holy Spirit we are made alive in Him.
The veil was torn from the top Christ had opened the way
Come boldly my child is what we hear the Father say
He proves Himself faithful with new mercies every morning
He fills our hearts with His love causing us to go on rejoicing.
Nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord
Stop listening to Satan’s lies and believe the truth in His word
We are more than conquerors because of His love and His grace
Filled with His Spirit we are empowered to run and finish the race.
One day we will see Him face to face all because of His love
Finally at rest in our eternal home that heavenly city above
Led all the way by His Spirit He guided us home to glory
Conformed into His image our lives became His story.
A Prayer For Your Safe Return
Lord I love Rodney.
I love him infinitely.
Please bring him back home to me.
He don’t need to run the streets.
Bring him home safely,
To his loving wifey.
I will welcome him gladly.
Please shower your spirit,
On him daily.
Let him know,
That we both love him insanely.
Keep that ignorant girl,
Away from his sight.
Open his heart,
To love us with all his might.
Let him know that it’s not your way,
To run away from a call
That you place on his life
From birth.
His life has so much worth.
I really genuinely love Rodney.
Please, Lord, bring him home to me.
He don’t need to run the streets.
Bring him home safely,
To his loving wifey.
So that his life,
Will give you the glory.
And that you will bless
Him, me, and our family.
As he shares with the  world,
His life story.
The Peek chap. 3
I couldn't say how long we stayed atop that little hill,
If not for that familiar tug, I'm sure I'd be there still.
We drifted further down the road, into a great valley,
As we turned up toward the North, the River I could see.
I began to realize that many things were hidden from me,
All those small details, the ones I think should be.
Were there flowers growing here, with flights of bumble bees,
Was it warm, a fine spring day, was there a southerly breeze?
We slowed down, and as I'd hoped I felt that warm right hand,
And I knew that he would fill me with wisdom to understand.
But as we stopped I felt a pull, I staggered from Light so bright,
Like a veil was ripped away, but I couldn't take in the sight.
In an instant, the veil was back, just as it was before,
Though it took me quite some time, my wits to restore.
Now there are things that mortal men were never meant to see,
And places sin scarred, filthy souls were never meant to be.
To describe that amazing scene, I had just gone through,
I'm not sure there are words to explain that awesome view.
But Light was everywhere at once, a radiance filling the air,
The One who walked beside me, was Beautiful beyond compare.
That pulse I felt back by the Sea, was magnified infinitely,
In crashing waves of Life and Love, and God's amazing Glory!
And I realized I couldn't survive a real glimpse of this place,
The one on my right hand, sustained me with His Grace.
I woke that evening with headache gone, outside I heard a storm,
As thunder sounded I felt my palm becoming oddly warm.
Then as the rain came pounding down, my mem'ry unleashed too,
And I remembered all the wonders God allowed me to view.
As I write these words just now, I wonder how soon 'twill be,
When He will call His children to come Home for Eternity.
Man truly can't imagine all the incredible things in store,
In God Almighty's Home on high, there on Heaven's Shore.
Near Miss
Driving home one afternoon from school,
It was raining and the air was nice and cool.
Less than a mile from home in my little S-10,
Traveling the same road again and again.
It was a freshly paved road around the bend,
Taking it nice and easy because my turn was at the end.
A dark green car came around in my lane,
I swerved so I would not hit the insane.
Before I could even blink an eye,
My truck was sideways as my tires let out a cry.
I had to think fast my time was running out,
I’m not going to live through this, my mind full of doubt.
Sharply turning the wheel all the way to the left,
Holding on for life like protecting something from theft.
The front tire bites and the truck slings around,
My heart sinks as I see a stop sign firmly planted in the ground.
Now bounding through the ditch on the other side,
Landing hard hitting my head as I cry inside.
Clipping the stop sign on the right side of my truck,
Is it over yet? Can I have the worst luck?
Woods dead ahead as if signs weren’t enough,
Now I’m dodging trees, bushes and stuff.
I slam on the breaks thinking how could it hurt,
I close my eyes as my tires fill with dirt.
The truck stops. I’m not moving anymore,
“Is this the end?” I think as I reach for the door.
My eyes open now looking at a tree,
I can’t believe I made it, someone was looking out for me.
Divine Parents
Who is like the Sun
who comes riding his white steed
the leader of the holy ones
and of his people Abram's seed
I will hold you because it is what you need
I will listen above all others I exceed
when I arrive it will      be to take you home
a place of Love          where you will never be alone
I'll give you children who            are needing your affection
with the ability       to give them all protection
this is the home                           that contains abundant joy
where happiness                     reaches every girl and boy
In this home           no child will ever hunger
suffer any pain                          or any kind of danger
they will be able     to run the fields wild
play with the animals                  like every dreaming child
Every day                                   will be a new adventure
not dependant                           on some monetary venture
every family          of the nations       has this task
to learn of Loves                      requirements at last
Earth was meant                  to be a place of beauty
not a hard line of unconsidered duty
where people hate            learning how to give
but free to Love            and reaching out to live
We have painted the pictures          over many century
for your consideration                 of what will come to be
you have the choice      of what you listen to
and of your actions                     in everything you do
For all existing                  must learn a single Law
that Love must cover        everyone to exist at all
every example that to you                    which has been given
demonstrates the cause effect          that you have been livin'
Over and over             the truth these examples set
in daily life         the things you must not forget
when you understand                   that every I must become We
for without Love           you cannot reside eternity
These are the things             promised to Loves Bride
the joys of Life         and working side by side
a perfect Union              of those joined heart to heart
to bring forth Life          and in its sharing have a part
~ Wander Back Home ~
With great joy in my heart today, I
wander back home to Him, to see
for myself the beauty in measure
one contained therein within the
heart so full yes full, so full of the
grace that I adore, as all the while
He has brought within me this one
emotion, and with my better intentions
and in all my, tenderness, I can say,
never again will I begin to be the one
so fickle, as to take even a tiny gander
beyond the humbleness of my abode,
for to know me now, you would see
me in this my one affection, for His love
in some great measure in way has kept
me, for through His goodness I have
grown, as I have given over the hold I
had, the very knack to be recluse and
rebel from Him in His, good nature, and
I can see now that my home was to be
with Him, and as well, one of my greatest
favors, for as within His grace, He beheld
me in His fervor even beyond the day
that I walked away, and so now today,
back to Him, I wander home, for there
is no better time than now, yes, my friend,
their is no better time than now, so this
shame He can take away from me, and
make me one a man alive, and living free,
and whole again, I wander back home to
Him, to Him and His gracious way of
mercy and forgiveness it is with great
joy that today to stay with Him, and
His Perfect ways, of Grace, I wander back,
home.
Heaven is your home
Nights and day they come and go
Steadily traveling on this road
Our eyes only see what they know
So faith leads us to where we need to go
Struggling to reach the place we call home
Knowing we all can't make it alone
So we ask god to help us along the way
Protection over us so we may be safe
Continuously praying while keeping the faith
He watches over us each and every day
But my god where are you today
Children are dying and people got nowhere to stay
Cancer taking over as they're calling on your name
Promising to god that one day they're gonna change
He opens his mouth, can't you hear him speak
He says he is here for you he got everything you need
He sees he sees the pain your going through
The person right beside you is going though it too
He believes in the same things just as you do
All this time you were never alone
God picked you up and carried you home
The pain was was only temporarily now it's time to go
Don't worry about those worldly things
Because heaven is your home
The Happy Place
Mornings delight is present with the laughter of so many little children.
My street is filled with pitter-pattering little feet that are out and about.
Each home impressively stands tall with a very valid gift on this street!
Each home esteemed by many splendorous seeds yielding viable sprouts!
Laughter and joy fills up in my air allowing the child in me to cheer again.
Little hearts pound with excitement from all that is complete and genuine.
These streets are always stirring up in sounds of my own pure innocence.
Many of my screams are carried out through many of their tiny shouts.
Their little lives engage with my own will to thrive alive on this street.
Not one shimmering smile is shaded by a stunting glimpse of doubt.
This is The Happy Place and exact with what my eyes can clearly see.
It is my place of comfort that carries me back to where I've already been!
The Happy Place holds the master key to my life of many, many things!
My warmest images are portrayed by the innocence of a child's smile.
The Happy Place holds my essence in presence of many, many memories.
The face of my own authenticity identified is what this child's smile brings.
The Happy Place is a true gift in this world freely given by a precious child.
A genuine smile dignifies my world restoring my truth purified by my honesty!
Waiting
Summer is ending, so begins fall
I am scared that the season will begin at all
Surrounded by people, and flinch at a call
Sit in a dark room with a chair at the wall
Should be outside with a rake and raking
Here inside at work and waiting
Home alone lying in bed
This month I lost my only friend
To a painful and abrupt end
Wake up in the morning and hear that he’s dead
Should be in the kitchen with cake that’s baking
Here inside at work and waiting.
Halloween comes with trick or treat
Or go to a party with people to meet
To creep and crawl with silent feet
And grope and fumble in darkness deep
Concentrate on something making
Here inside at work and waiting
Thanksgiving with my new family
November passes quite rapidly
Together with turkey, peas and tea
Advent begins in a cold grey sea
Winter is now and its breaking
I’m home inside at work and waiting
In December the birth of the son of God
I must remember what in his life he taught
Then sort the teachings out from a dark fog
Because Christmas is love not at all macabre
The frost grows on the lawn outside this morning
At the window inside at work and waiting
Happy New Year that begins with a seven
The angels above call down from heaven
To the earth below and meadows and oceans
Like the dough that sowed and rises when leavened
The days are short and nights sedating
In the kitchen alive at work and waiting
Is the vast bleakness a harbinger of Spring
When nature sets forth its most beautiful things
That grow quietly without sounds or rings
Or move about at night under moonlight scenes
With equal days and nights the equinox brings
The time flies by without break or sating
Here at work at home and waiting
To Question God
On one early morning came a knock upon my door
I thought it was my daughter with grandkids I adore
But there stood my sister, grief as plain as day
She said her son had died in the war yesterday.
Now she wonders why God just sits above
He's supposed to be all powerful and so full of Love
He surely could prevent our death, disease, and war
Yet they happen still, and everyday brings more.
Then to top it off, He makes a Lake of Fire
That doesn’t sound like Love, it sounds like He’s a liar.
After many tears, I took her by the hand
And said, “There are some things you don’t understand.
When God created life and all the world we see,
It was perfect then, like we’d like it to be.
But Adam chose to sin, and ever since that day
Death awaited man, the debt of sin to pay.
God could have killed us all and started over again
Instead He made a way to save us from our sin.
Yes, God so full of power, who lives in Heaven on high
Loved the world so much, He sent His Son to die.
His Son hung on a cross, then in a tomb He lay
But death lost all it's sting when He rose the third day!
Since God is perfect there, in His Home above
Sin is not allowed, only Peace and Love.
So God created Hell for Satan and for sin
And on the Judgment day, He will throw them in.
When Jesus died that day, His Blood flowed to forgive
To wash man's sin away, so man with God can live.
And all we have to do is believe that it is true,
Repent of sin, so He, can cleanse us through and through.
Now the curse of sin remains, so all men surely die
Believers wake in Heaven, Eternal Home on High.
But those who don't believe, still carry all their sin
And God will have no choice, He can't let them in.
Sin will be destroyed, along with the Devil in Hell
Those that die in sin, will be sent there as well."
My sister listened close, tears still flowing free
Then she bowed her head, and there she prayed with me.
"Jesus I confess my sin, I know that it was wrong.
I know now that You cared for me, and Loved me all along.
I invite You in my heart, please, take control of me
Live Your life through me, so others plainly see."
I hugged my sister tight, and I just had to grin,
with greatest joy I told her that she'd see her son again.
Before he left for war, I'd had a chance to share
He's waiting now with Angels, to greet her over there.
Lucifer's Cry
Created in wondrous light
Beauty now held within
Until darkness invaded
And touched with great sin
Now sorrow is seen
While pain fills his eyes
Will the Lord still hear
His wounded cries?
Or is he forever doomed
To walk this earth alone?
No one to comfort him
Or offer him a home
Raising his head
He prays for the light
Please come and end
This torturous night
He has fallen from grace
Sickened by lies
Looking for salvation
To save his soul before he dies
For he would gladly
Send steel through to bone
Please, dear Lord
Just welcome him home
Trapped in Hell now of his own making
His God turned a blind eye
Heaven, no more his for the taking
World left to suffer, Lucifer's cry
Still your not here
 It’s Valentines Day full of cards and kisses
Wish you were here covers all of my wishes
Easter is here and were celebrating our lord
Each day that passes I miss you even more
 It’s been seven years today since we said, “I do”
It seems longer than that since I last held you
 We all gather together for the birth of our land
It’s the Fourth of July and your not here as we planned
 It’s your birthday today marking 34 years
When I think of you celebrating alone, it brings me to tears
Now it’s thanksgiving and the families all here
The rooms filled with spirit and still your not here
Out of habit I set a place at the tables head
The kids leave it and “Soon Mom” is all that was said
 Santa is coming and kids are full of cheer
I try to keep smiling even though you are not here
Pictures with Santa and the lighting of the tree
Smiles on Christmas morning I wish you could see
We gather to wish good tidings to all
I sit and wait by the phone thinking maybe you’d call
You have missed a great deal in the year you’ve been gone
Jason had a great time at his junior prom
 Katie turned seven and Chrissie turned two
For all their birthday wishes- they just wished for you
At night we all get tucked into bed
We snuggle up close and then bow our heads
 Dear Lord please keep special watch over our Dad
If anything happens to him we’ll be so sad
 He’s over helping the other country grow
Doing his job as you already know
 He’s helping other little boys and girls
Opening their eyes to a whole new world
We are so proud of him and hold our heads high
But each night we hear mommy lay there and cry
We all miss him more than you know
Yet during the day we don’t let it show
We have to be strong and keep the faith
That soon he’ll be home with us and be safe
We are proud to hang that flag up high
We are all so full of American pride
 We pray for all the soldiers’ safe return home
We pray that there are no more families left alone
Dear God for this Christmas please hear us pray
Bring our soldiers home where they belong, where they’ll stay
My Little Boy
You've had this dream from the time you could talk.
You wanted to be like your dad and chose the path he walked.
I thought you had forgotten and changed your mind..
Oh, but no you only were waiting for the right time.
I watched you grow up and I hoped and prayed,
I'd never have to say good bye to you one day.
How I wish your dad were here.
To see you go is too much to bear
And now you're going off too...
Dear Lord please don't let me lose you too.
Please watch over my boy and keep him safe while he's away
And bring him back home again one day.
He smiles and turns and waves his hand
And for that moment ,he's my little boy again.
I sit and read his letters over and over again
And he ends each one with don't worry mom I'll be home soon,
But he doesn't say when.
I hold his picture close to me.
His father would be so proud of the man he came to be.
And so I wait patiently,
For that little boy to come home to me.
A Dripping Rose
A penalty pinned down my conscious,
When a high volt power injected me unsuspended shock,
Unawakened and unconscious,
I cried as a fish, out of water.
Imagination of discrimination terrified me,
My soul was jerking with dizziness,
The democratic system was trembling,
The bureaucracy was pinning the nibs into my dreams.
Not only once, terminology of deeds,
Curriculummed deliberation of considerations,
And ranked bribery and recommendations,
To reward innocence and honesty,
To secure human values,
A system was highjacked by think tanks.
As I experienced after applying a vacancy online,
Where home office advertised descriptions of a job,
And declined with direct approach in moments,
I experienced my capabilities,
Home office departments, on various occasions,
Rewarded me, a safe and tolerated direction,
And provoked me to enjoy the fire with my qualifications,
To protect my future from cold weather.
Not only Home office also local councils,
Highjacked individual progress and prosperity,
Criminality always delivered justice of excuses,
Where democratic equal opportunity services policy,
That was lying dead on a log of ice.
My pain was streaming into flames,
My throat was drying with the taste of equal opportunism.
I was imprisoned into the democratic boundaries,
Where my performance was demarcated into various barriers,
My soul was delivering justice through my poetry,
But my unemployment forced me always,
To learn about high ranked poor and victimized positions,
And my tolerances run down after touching a sore of sand.
The bubbling rust was claiming superiority,
Law is equal for all.
Everyday Missions
In everyday life,
Do we notice what we are dreaming?
The dreams that we cannot hold onto.
These visions of symbolic meaning
Set us in our daily goal.
In everyday missions.
We fill the world with will
Our wild kinetic dreams
Breaking the world’s surface.
Will molds visions
 Into
Everyday missions.
Has our expectations flown too high?
Seen so far away without the wings to carry.
We still try.
The twist of fate
Will always vary
From the circumstance.
Please give us a chance
Or a guiding hand.
Find some faith in our freewill.
Give us strength to take a stand.
So much selfish acts without shame.
So little recognition of the real deeds
They come unnoticed to these heartless acts of blame.
And these closed minds with shattered hearts
Trapped in a captive society
Some will try to escape
Or our drawn to the crowds of festivity
And come home to families
In a home town.
Give us the right
Or a moment to understand
Find some faith in the human will
That gives us strength to stand a fight.
The battles of everyday missions.
End…
Monday night is my weekly Bible Study
An evening spent delving into God's word.
A night devoted to knowing Christ as my Savior
To not attend would be simply absurd.
Tuesday night is spent at the county prison
Sharing God's word with hard-core sinners.
Trying to lead them to repent and accept Christ as their Savior
In hopes they'll be transformed from losers to winners.
Wednesday night is spent at church
A midweek devotion so important to my life.
To praise God and thank Him for his many blessings
As Sunday service alone does not suffice.
Thursday is our weekly lunch at the diner
A great time to get to know my fellow Christians.
We break bread and we share God's word with each other
And often talk over our latest church mission.
Friday and Saturday I like to leave open-ended
Unless my church has something planned, in which case I attend.
I love my free time but would drop everything for
Participation in a church-sponsored event.
It's Sunday, dear God, and I kneel before thee
Grateful to be here in the House of the Lord.
Though you've bestowed so many blessing on me
I pray for just one more.
Please God, help me be closer to my children
As I've been neglecting their many needs.
I've given my life to Christ as my Savior
Yet somehow lost touch with those important to me.
I love you Lord, and love your son Jesus
For giving His life so I can be with you in eternity.
But please don't let my heavenly desires
Put a wall between my children and me.
So, I hope you'll forgive me if every once in a while
I skip a church event to stay home with my family.
To get reacquainted with them and put forth more effort
In being the parent I know you expect me to be.
My child, by all means spend time at home with your kids
When you are together, you should know I am there.
And when you want to have some alone time with your God
Trust me, they'll still know how much you care.
Be at home for your children and here for your church
Enjoy all your loved ones while you've got the chance.
From your prayer, I suggest you need only be mindful
Of the simple, yet profound gift of…balance.
we the people
we the people just who do they mean by we .you me them becuse if they mean
me this is what we would do. we would stop this war and stop it now we would
bring are soliders home.we would stop this pointless killing we would leeve iraq
alone. we would  drill for oil right here at home yes we would bring our gass
prices down .we would stop making excuses we would turn this country around.
affordable housing would be nice .we would bring are people in from the cold.let
them know there not alone. we would make sure every american family had a
nice home of there own. yes my fellow americans if i where only we. we would
restore your hopes your dreams and your happiness we would give back the
american dream. a home food healthcare clean clothes on your back. now i ask
you my fellow americans is that to mutch to ask. in the land of oppertunity we
need to take it back .now here comes the truth my friends and you better take
some notes we the people means them.and they hurt us the most .they look for
ways to drive prices up on everything we need. they try there best to keep us
down to take away are dream. we have to keep gass so high theres no other way
that is what they tell us. and then they smile and say we have to drive the prices
up.  theres nothing we can do they look us right in the eye and lie to me and you.
and that seems to be ok .i think its time that we the people try to take a stand.they
lie cheat and steal from us each and every day. they make everything sky high
and give them selves a raise .a hundred and fifty thousand a year man how they
must struggle .take take take more more more thats what they relly say. they
make themselves above the law they think they got it made but sooner or later we
all must die und god will sort us out we the people will rule in heaven and they
will burn in hell ....
Homesick
I long for my home when I’m away
But I’m determined to leave anyway
So I’m going to pack my bags and leave this town
I put on my make up and wear my crown.
I miss my bed now that I’m away
Knowing that I won’t be home till Sunday
So I searched for a few pieces of stationery
For only through words I find sanctuary.
My plane will leave at seven
In that foreign land blessings are given
I really want to stay
But it’s better to go anyway.
I will surely cry now that I’m away
But I know I don’t have to leave someday
So while that sun is out I’ll make hay
I’ll do anything no matter what they say
So worry about  me no more
For I am in the good graces of the future.
My Home is My Heaven
Where all good things happen
Where all things are even
My castle, my sanctuary
My home is my heaven
When from it I must leave
From that safety, I roam
My soul, it will live on
In heaven, my home
From concrete to clouds,
Ocean depths to the foam,
My home is my heaven
And heaven’s my home.
home
Across the midnight sky
i see a flash of light
a sign of things to come a message from above
telling me i must go
never to return to my home
i feel like a prisoner in this new place
not knowing a friendly face to go back i cannot
for i found the place that i sought
out so long ago still i feel lonely in this new place
i remember my home my family my friends
never to see them again
i will be strong and go on for its not my place to say i dont belong
maybe some day i will find my way back
to see the land i left so long ago
to smell the air to see the snow
Fly Away Home
The bells toll for you today
To fly to your new home in
Yonder sky..
Spread your wings and fly
From down here below,
So, fly away home
Oh, fly away home
To your new home in
Yonder sky..
Our hearts are  broken and
We fill so blue,
Many tears has been shred
For miss you so
We know you have pass through
Heavens gates
Your journey was hard but the
Bell toll
For you to come home in yonder
Sky..
So, fly away home
Oh, fly away home
Your great work you accomplished
Down here below
Have been awarded
Your memory will never fade
So, fly away home
Oh, fly away home
To your new home in yonder
Sky..
If I had not died I would have
Been a gospel singer..
But since I’d died I will sing
In the heavenly choir..
So, fly away home
Oh, fly away home...
A Letter From Paul Harvey
Here I sit reading our local rag.
    Our little newspaper full of good stuff and hometown brag.
Anyway a story caught my eye.
    A story by Paul Harvey in his quest to find the answer why.
He speaks of different religions in our land.
    But the majority is Christianity, and the point he makes, makes you understand.
He said get your phone book out and let it prove my point I try to make.
    Christian churches outnumber all other by 200 to 1 for goodness sake.
He said a thirty second prayer before a football game isn’t asking that much.
    We’re not praying to change the world, just let our boys be safe and have a
safe trip home and such and such.
Just humor our wish is all we ask.
     Surely your god will look the other way while we perform this simple task.
We’re not out to convert no one or asking that you even share.
      And the atheist’s can even take a toilet break while we say our prayer.
 But speaking as the majority why is it that we have to ask?
     No one is asking to come home with you just let us perform this one simple
task.
If I were in Bagdad at a soccer game, I’m sure they would say a Muslim prayer.
     Which I would understand and that would be okay, I don’t think I ‘d care.
Or someone praying to Buddha in China at a ping pong match.
    It wouldn’t upset me or cause an itch, you know one that you cannot scratch..
Paul goes on to say we have been silent for much too long.
   We live in a country where majority rules so let that be the name of this song.
In closing he says God bless us all especially those that denounce Him.
   God bless our service men and women, God please bless them.
This is the year the silent majority needs to be heard.
   And bring our troops home was his final word.
Well I for one agree with Paul.
    He puts his job and reputation on the line to stand for one and all.
He’s a man of honor and conviction.
    He loves this country and to him with God there should be no restriction.
Thank you Paul Harvey .
     And that’s the way it was!!!!!!
My Savior
Everywhere you go he sees you
Watching,
           Watching your every move
Listening,
           Listening to your every thought
He surrounds you like a blanket made of love and care.
As His son's blood is drippings down the splintered wood,
Your sins drip,
             They'er dripping away and you as are forgiven.
His love is so great,
             So great it makes you wonder,
How could I, me, be loved so much?
Everyday and in every way,
We find one way,
            One way to survive this world,
This world,
             The world around us and,
One way for me is knowing,
              Knowing his love will never die,
              Knowing here is a home waiting for me,
                            A home where all is perfect,
                            A home where I will find a light glowing,
                                        Welcoming me into everlasting life,
                            A home where I will finally be with my Maker,
                                                       My God,
                                                                   My Savior.
I desire
I desire the cloths I wear.
Like a shirt, a tee, a skirt, a pant
A crop an flare. Man with pretty hair.
I desire,
Shirt that flirt.
And pants that tight but doesn’t hurt.
Desert tones that I desire.
Wraps that shape.
Man like super hero in his cape.
	Flying home to be rescue and never EX-scape.
But keep their love in shape.
I desire a man who never comes home late.
 	I desire a man who white, brown, or black
	To make love to my mind, he might be tall he might be fine.
	But he always be mine.
	Always give me sweet kisses.
	Give me sweet roses. For valentine.
	He always made me shine.
	Boy, people don’t know how much I desire this man.
Drive up the wall, I can dream easily I can’t really explain.
 	He must be hard to fine, that I can’t complain.
Back At Home With You
Travelin down this freeway,
I'm wishing I were free from this world that I'm in...
I'm wonderin  if the traffic knows just where they're
going? and if they knew the storm was coming,
would they continue on this road?
Travelin down this freeway,
I'm wishing I were home where the love of Jesus grows...
Why did I choose to continue on this road
where the unknown comes, unknown?
My family back at home wonders when I'll return,
I'll stay dear family, where I belong.
Back at home with you.
