Pledge of love and loyalty

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

Moments In Time

The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark

The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.

25th October 1854 Part 2

Left And Right

Either side the cannons roar
Took of blood and wanted more
Salvo after salvo into the valley
Point blank range to deter the rally

Water poured over steaming muzzles
Russian gunner at this sight puzzles
Tis madness against this cannonade
Tis the sacrifice of the Light Brigade

The quicker they fired the faster they came
Under billowing flags and the Queens name
Torn and shredded they carried the fight
And many a soul, never saw that night

The Redout

The Russian generals looked in wonder
Stood in awe at the total squander
The cannons barked and took their toll
Removing horse from man, man from soul

Rifle, cannon, spoke the same
The Light Brigade on they came
Thundering hooves and yelling cries
All for the sight of the Russians eyes

And at the distance of a lance
The Russian soldier in a trance
Sabres cut and slashed in violence
All was death in the cannons silence

The Russians fled in disbelief
Last shot fired to the Brigades relief
Bleeding soldiers and tattered flags
Stumbled, tottered, like wizened hags

Down The Valley

Looking back along that mile
Bodies, horses, pile on pile
Wounded men lean on lance
Said a prayer in skyward glance

On the ground a sleeping parade
Remnants of the Light Brigade
Depleted souls but not of honour
Yet a picture of battles squander

On the conclusion of this battle
Fingers wag and tongues will rattle
But nought should be put to shame
The Light Brigade and its day of fame

At Night

When the moon shines that longest mile
Hear the hooves on lush green pile
The rattling sabres and rippling flags
And how he rode the horseman brags
In the night the ghosts they ride
Full of honour and full of pride

On The Road To Vezalay Part 2

The Holy Land

The butchers slab of Hell, of Christian and Infidel.
Swords slash and cut lose the soul, fear! not
conscience pays the toll. And yet with battles
endless plight, the cut and thrust, ferocious might.
For all the dark one ray of light, that gentle kiss
one moonlit night.
Antioch, no quarter asked no quarter given, the
sword from blood to bone is driven. Then in the
twinkling of an eye, the pain a sickening cry. Thud
the arrow hit my chest, piecing bone and armoured
vest. From horse to earth I did fall, with failing
breath her name did call.
And there he stood with coal black eye, be still
Christian or you will die. The arrow is close to
heart, I must remove less the poison start. With
those words I drift to sleep, back to Avalon and
a promise keep. Was it hours or was it days, the
Devil tricks and mind it plays. When I woke he
was kneeling east, offering prayer to man and
beast. He saw me said rest Christian your heart
is sweet, it is full of love but incomplete. A
greener land and softer hue awaits, it is not we
who control our fates. Pray tell me what's your
name, he said call me friend are we not the same.
Jealousy and greed corrupt our aim, in our Gods
name we create our shame. He gave me rest he
gave me balm, kept the fire and kept me warm.
I asked him why. He gave me that soft dark eyed
look, he said Christian it's all about a book. A man
who stopped to aid an injured man, a man ignored
by his own country men. Yes I said the good
Samaritan, and my book has these stories to.
Your stronger now your wound has healed, time
to leave this foreign field. My family awaits with
open arms, peace and warmth and all its charms.
I clenched his hands and kissed his cheek, as if
brothers in words did speak.

Ne Prorsus Interirent

Unrelentless unforeseen neverending not serene, vacant town of bliss and
horror the end of sanity a walk with declining humanity. In said tales of ill faded

remember that faith never crossed the line sunset angels fought to stay blind.
Your ultimate guidance will crucify me and evade the truth that lay dormant inside

Posin of Satin

I have tried to love
I have tried to befriend
But I have not recived a blessing from above
They have cursed my soul
My heart roars with the anger of being ignored
I have tried praying before
But the prayer made me worse, what was in store
My life was in hell
And the stinking smell
makes me sick, and green
Why did it happen and how
But now I remember my deed
I was with my friends
and the party came to no end
when a handsome man came to me
he gave me a drink
saying the it was called 'The Dream'
I drank it whole
and now I behold my fate
My fate of the posin I drank
From Satins hand
He now commands my soul
Because I drank the posin
No one will ever love me
Not any more.

Me, Myself, and I - (Part 1)

Hello Friends... I suffer from Severe Bi-Polar Disorder and this submission was inspired by
actual events that occured during one of my especially critical manic episodes. Be sure and
read Part 2 to complete the poem and leave your comments on the Part 2 submission. Thank
you for allowing me to share my pain for pain shared is pain diminished

Me, Myself, and I...

“There are things that concern us,”
		Consensed my “Selves” in earnest
““We” fear that “I” have succumbed to delusion”

“And after careful deliberation
		It is with much hesitation
That we choose to delineate upon this confusion”

“Fact is your intuition
		Is riddled with superstition
And your judgment leaves much to be desired”

“So you leave us no recourse
Don’t push us to use force”
It is then that the “I” was summarily fired

I exclaimed “By whose authority?” Response, “Rule of majority”
“The “Myself” and the “Me,” (forthwith the “We”), are experts in our field”

“And with much technique and time
And some forays into the sublime
The nature of your malady will be revealed”

“So to keep yourself from having a fit
Step back and just calm down a bit”
“We,” they said, “certainly have this under control”

“We swear this won’t hurt at all”
Then I felt my inhibitions fall
Still I said a prayer to God that He keep my soul

You know, fact is I do feel off axis
		As evidenced by such parapraxis
As this prose that I, (or is it “Us”), seek to pen

And with my mind feeling numb
		I finally chose to succumb
And allow the “Me” and the “Myself” to begin

And then came questions in a flurry
Answer, answer and please do hurry
Not one moment of respite did they give

They pushed and they prodded
With every “T” crossed and “I” dotted
My mind felt like it had gone through a sieve

And all this psycho-analysis
		Is causing my mind paralysis
The questions, can you stop with the questions please

“Yes, oh yes indeed
I do believe we have what we need
To make an attempt to identify your unknown neuroses”

Tell Me

I'm lost hurt and angry
Why did you take his life
I want, No I need to know
Tell me, Tell me why
I deserve to know

Haven't you done enough to him
What'd he ever do to you
He suffered his whole life
Suffered more than anyone deserved
Tell me, Tell me why you did it
I have a right to know

Why'd you let him born to them
Born to worthless parents
Parents who didn't care
They threw him away like garbage
Pawned him off on someone else
Tell me, Tell me why
Explain how you could do that

You gave him Polio
You let others treat him like disease
You took away the full use of his legs
You warped his hand and foot
Tell me, Explain to me why
I deserve to know

You let others think he was crazy
You let it go on for over year
You didn't stop it, Why
Tell me, Give me your reason
Answer me, Help me to understand

You go and make matters worse
You gave him Cancer
You didn't give him a chance to fight back
You just jerked him away from us
Tell me, Tell me how
How you could be so cruel

How can others not question you
When others do it, It's murder
But when it's by your hand
It's your will, Their fate
Tell me, What makes you so different
Your no better than the demons knocking at the door

You heard me beg and plead
You know I'm not afraid to die
I was willing to carry it all for him
I was willing to take my Daddy's place
You didn't even let me say Goodbye
Tell me, Tell me why I couldn't take his place
Answer me, you owe me that much

Incineration of Love God Madan Cupid 11

Incineration of Love God Madan (Cupid) 11
Originally written in Hindi by my late father Dr. Amar Nath Kapoor
1899 to 1994. The work was written in Hindi somewhere around 1965-70.

Editing and English version by Ravindra K Kapoor.

Hindi name ‘Madan Dahan’

Influenced by love, where man,
Resides with human attraction,
Keeping always happy and merry,
For the common good of man.

The Earth have become a family,
Of all living beings on it,
Enjoying life, as their wish,
On every part of the Earth.

The Struggle between Gods and God’s Power

By prayer to Goddess of power,
He begged delusion of Nature,
And demanded an enchanting season,
From the vernal Goddess of spring.

Our Invincible Defeat

The inner and the outer,
Are dissolving fast in space.
The ominous clouds of thunder,
Are covering your face.

The meek the mild and innocent,
Are trampled under feet,
As we go one marching blindly,
To our invincible defeat.

No more calling softly,
No more calling you,
We've lost our hope and loving,
What once we thought was true.

And now the choice is coming,
Riding on a wave,
To be a free man dying,
Or be a mad man's slave.

And now the drums are drumming,
Drumming down the line,
Will you be marching forwards?
Will you be deaf and blind?

Will the light of sacred meaning?
Shine from bottom of your heart?
As the soldiers go on marching,
Tearing our humanity apart.

Last Kiss

Open your eyes to the ever turning skies
I want to here with me through the night
My heart yearns into your soul
Burning as if newly lit coal
I bravely submerg the embers
That the time I have can be spent with you
And I remember each kiss every moment
I was caught in your love that for just this day I remember
So what happened was a chance for your love
A time that I kept in a locket tied with a kiss
I wanted you to feel, to love, to slumber
And to awake in my arms with that times kept bliss
I lay silient in an umber

My Inner Breath Part:1

Because this is my feeling and what i yell inside
I yell it with anger and i yell it with pride
You might not know what ones been through
But this is part of whats been true
What is there to do
I am a soldier at war with the core
Fighting for my insecurity, in my life's debility
In search for reality through my music ability

Yeah my life is somehow fake
Not even with so much at stake
For goodness sake I want to break
Because with great power comes great responsibility
In an apocalypse of ability, charisma and sensibility
Moments in life are what create a person what he is
In description falling in abyss
My life changed me completely
The point of views that i see in me
Generosity that unfolds through me
Now just pointers to these feelings
Differences that might seem like misunderstandings
Comes and goes that end up as great landings
Now lets just go back to my sentir
Forgive me not the one here to plead
Its my people that call out my story
Who call out the way I face my glory
Like the time i was crossing the border
I still get punished for my misconduct disorder
Now locked in a 5 by 11 cell
I now many don't know this
And many cant tell
But this is just a bit of whats impelling upon
To make it straight I am no criminal I am no con
Just made bad decisions in my life
Now believing in the right in the right of a second chance
I blew opportunities but lets enhance
Certain people just judge me by my stance
Don't judge me by what you glance
There is a lot more to me
Then there is the eye can see
I know no one is superior
No one is inferior

Meant to soar through the stars
not meant to be behind bars
I just know we deserve the same respect
Coming from his image so we simply just connect
I may not have achievements
But i have many goals

BLACKIE THE PIT PONY

Me father was a collier, worked Harton off the coast
And he rattled from the coaldust he was whiter than a ghost
But the one thing that reviled him in his God-forsaken post
Was the torment of the pit ponies whose hearts he loved the most..

Shetlands worked the low seams, Gallers the big pit
And they toiled in dust and danger in the darkness and the grit
Blinkered up between the limbers, heaving coal, tubs full of it
Were the brave young beasts of burden, all a-frothing at the bit.

And Blackie was a strong 'un, he'd been down since '34
But he earned the lads good bonus so they worked him more and more
Till the weight buckled his legs and he stumbled to the floor
And he just laid there a-panting and a- choking in his craw.

Ah me Da would bring them sugar and share with them his bait,
Now his mind was torn with fury and his heart was filled with hate
So raging black with anger he made the butchers wait
And he vowed he'd take the pony back up with him in the crate

Then Da's no longer digging, they locked him up you see,
For misappropriating mineowners property,
But you cannot cage a conscience, he'd set the brave one free,
From the bittered, blackened hellhole that had been his slavery..

And Blackie's in the meadow there with horses by his side
Where the miners bring their children down he takes them for a ride
And he passes by the pithead and the place he nearly died
And he says a silent prayer for the others still inside
For the broken, bullied ponies and the tears yet to be cried
There's torment in them ponies down the mine, Hear me well, lad
There's torment in them ponies down the mine, Hear me well, lad
There's torment in them ponies down the mine.

HEAR ME SING THIS ON YOUTUBE: Louis Spence.Ballard of Blackie- not Ballad.

THANK YOU.

My Future Generation

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless

I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation

Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee

I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…

Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives

Being childlike is

A rare beauty –

No one prizes it…

No one came across it…

In this lifetime…

I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine

Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…

I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation

I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy

I’ll still have pieces of a child in me

And pass it on to my future generation…

An Ode to LIFE Part 1

An Ode To LIFE

As I lay my head down and start to fall asleep I see myself being carried off to a place and time the place of our Lords birth in Bethlehem of Judea

As in the Bible tells the story of His life and how he lived and died in that human seance and rose on the day He told of

I do not remember being here but I remember the story I was taught so many years ago

As I walk through the streets of Bethlehem I see each scene and hear every word as I am learning the story they telling is true

The writer writes of a jealous King and his way of dealing with his people and of Mary and Joseph who came to Bethlehem to have a child

The story tells of the three wise men who saw a star in the north and heard of a child who was born to be the King of the Jews and come to see and bring Him gifts

An angel from the Heavens above came to Mary and Joseph in a dream and told them they had to leave Bethlehem or King Herod would have their son killed

So they left Bethlehem and went to Egypt and there they lived until King Herod no longer ruled

As I follow along in my dream I see each scene and hear every word as I am puzzled by the fact I understand each

I don’t understand why I’m going through this time but I know I must continue on this journey

As I am pulling through a time where I reach the place of Jesus’ in Nazareth of Galilee

As I watched Him grow and work in His father's shop I could see the thing in Him that were with me

As I walk along the streets and look around I hear the people talk of a child that speaks of wondrous love that’s all forgiving and of a Father in Heaven that’s loving and true.

America Is Being DESTROYED From Within

As sin and perversion often become integrated… So many lives and families are being “disintegrated.” Many are being driven by sin’s temptation force… It’s no wonder much of this country is way “off course.” The morality and values that once made a great nation. Are evaporating…. Leading to a “spiritual separation.” Love, honor, and respect of God… Is often a “thing of the past.” Anything of God seems to be disappearing FAST! God is our only hope! And him alone! Only he can bring healing to our broken homes! He’s the answer to this wounded nation, that bleeds! It’s only God that can meet all of our needs! He’s our provider… The great: “I am!” Won’t you reach out to him? And give him your hand? Why not give him a chance? And allow him in? A brand new life for you… Is waiting to begin! May we allow God’s holiness and love to reach down into our hearts… Asking; “Lord please forgive our sins!” Is a good place to start! By Jim Pemberton

Beyond the Frontier

Where am I? Why is it dark?
This isn’t what I had in mind when I left the park…
Why isn’t the wind whispering…the songbirds singing?
All I remember is a telephone ringing…
A scream and a crash and a pain in my side…
Is this what happens after one’s died?
I don’t feel like myself, I feel wild and free,
Yet I’m cold and alone, 'stead of filled with glee.

My whole life I’ve studied, and pondered, and prayed,
Trying to fathom what would happen this day
But now that it’s here, I’m beginning to fear
Maybe the afterlife’s not what it appears…
It’s certainly not what I’ve been told by my preacher
Or my parents or brother or best friend or teacher…
Is it a bad thing, or is it good?
Maybe it’s just not quite understood...

While I was on Earth, I just couldn’t wait
To meet good St. Peter at the heavenly gate
And ask him a question or query or two
“What was my purpose?” “What good did I do?”
“What’s it all for?” “How does it all flow?”
“Can I have one more body, one more try, one more go?”
But where is the angel? Where is the gate? And
If this is Hell, then where is Ol’ Satan?
Am I a lost soul? Am I forgotten?
Am I to be left here until I am rotten?

Lo and behold! what, now, can this be?
Is this a wonderful spiritual epiphany?
Is this the magical feeling all souls receive
When they leave Earth? Oh! was I that naïve?
How could I have not seen the realism?
Why was I consumed in man-made idealism?
This is more wondrous than all I was taught
Oh, all the times I argued and fought
With others, ‘bout how their views were asinine
Now I see, theirs were just as wrong as mine!
Little I thought was actually correct!
How, why, did I let others petty beliefs infect
My untouched, my pure, my virgin mind?
I regret all the hours I self-tortured to find
That compared to what I see now, I was empty and blind…

Wait - - What is this that I see?
What is this gateway that is revealed unto me?

Now a door is opened to my immortal soul
I am expected now to enter my life’s final goal…
I am scared, intimidated, but still I am glad…
For the truth I have just seen is anything but bad.
This is the end of my journey, I’ve nothing to fear,
For now I am going Beyond the Frontier.

What did I do to deserve this

What I do to deserve this heartbreak,
this horrid and unnatural pain,
this cleche of events that strike me simultaneously
as the time ticks away,
and as the grinning faces pierce a whole through my soul
and my heart turns pale and slowly beats.
My heart is torn in two,
and I cannot find the doctors to stich me up.
I ask an old man,
how does love go about,
he smaked me in the face and went on.
The pain and the sorrow,
it is too much to feel,
too much to gain in one serving,
When I eat, I taste posion, not passion,
familiar faces turn grey, with ruby eyes and sharp fangs
they hiss at me, like a cat to a mouse.
I don't understand why I deserve this.
I am a good man,
who loves with open arms and a big heart.
With every hug I give,
I recieve a knife of betrayal in my back,
I feel the blood ooze from my open wounds,
suicidal tendencies roll through my mine,
but I quickly throw them out,
because Mama didn't raise no coward.
I see the blow, I clench my fists
and swing away,
God cries wanting to stop this madness,
Death laughs and soon joins in,
people join in and punch away.
I lay there on the concret blood everywhere,
my heart torn out of my chest,
each with a thousand knives stabbed in it,
as it slowly beats,
I lay their on the pavement,
looking up to the heavenly skies,
and as it starts to rain droplets of hope
I ask myself,
What did I do to deserve this?
Then, I shall close my eyes
and rest for awhile.

-9/23/13-

Inspired by all the betrayal and heartbreak I've faced, by so many cowards who didn't want to recieve my love. People I had thought who were my friends, came with invitations of humiliation and hate, and now I see who my real friends are; this pen and paper... Have a good day.
P.S. No one should ever be shown this much betrayal and heartbreak. I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy. Have a good day!

I'll shine brighter than ever when I find my way past my woes the farther I wander the more I shall know that I'm a friend with consequences and only one could let that go He somehow convinced me that I needed correction now I know where I'm going for I followed his directions no more full of blaming I point it right at my nose and realize all my problems are by no one else controlled Will I ever shine with a destiny, kind I still have little meaning but he is there with me, sometimes when our doors have been locked up for so many years it feels good to have someone come in my circle, share my fear Everyone so full of hatred afraid of letting us by even when we're most broken still a spark in our eye you think that would tell them that we just want to live life to the fullest potential that our dreams aren't denied We talk of good and evil agreed on right and wrong tell tales of when we struggled and what we did to be strong as the world the he's seen is darker than mine I am less respected as a person but I accept that, it's fine for he talks to me like I'm worthy and proud to be my friend that's why I could never replace all the treasured words of wisdom he gave me like a story of survival, rise and fall though I am a friend with great consequences I could never begin to replace him, at all my personal Jesus, I see the great Messiah in him I hope one day to inherit his good heart to pass it on to some kid one day, struggling.

To Wither and Die Not

Peace surrounds me on this day in May as I let destiny have it's own way I smile down on whom I am made grandly by all my yesterdays I will live again and all my hopes and dreams shall not shatter I am destiny's lost prodigal child, May has been a source of pain for me Seeming to harm me with it's innocent days hidden in coy smiles, yes it lied many times but not today, the day after yesterday beginning all my tomorrows We can not always live in the growing fields of flowers picking them and hanging them up to dry somehow in making something beautiful we forgot them and they did not dry, yet died We can not always hold onto our flowers some do not fare well to the process of living dry so today is not tomorrow nor yesterday but it will always be lost amongst some field of flowers No garden to train, yet sheer joy in what is natural for miles as far as the eye can see it is spring and I pat my body down, I lived through the night yes, I am alive, and did not die, as they live their destiny Yet, my flowers have no scent, and not many want them , but what glory can be found in the ordinary flower? the garden of no surprise with many needs to thrive, none, for there is nothing grander than a flower growing in fields wild Next year, it will spread it's seeds in the wind and prosper so much grander it will be each year there after, yes, growing wilder and my prayer is no one will cut them down or poison them ever-after yet someone will love the flowers growing wild tomorrow and the day after May they become a heart's desire, and glory will forever remain in those alive, and wild but never dried, or tamed, for how can we say nice things about something, we set aside to wither and die, in shame and pain, that should always be allowed to grow wilder, to wither and die not tomorrow or the day after
will edit when I get back home. SORRY GUYS!

As The Cycle Completes

Spending time in prayer the truth is revealed
Man’s weapons useless our fates they be sealed
Returned to a point the cycle resets
Drifting through space this rock we live on jets
Full-scale war part of the cycle been told
Realizing this though you may fear be bold
Dispatched are the horse men igniting fire
Accomplished mission be our lords desire

A Profound Thought

                 HAVE YOU EVER PLACED
                 BEFORE YOUR FACE
                 YOUR HAND
                 THEN SAID GRACE
                 THAT YOU CAN EVEN PLACE
                 AND SEE YOUR HAND BEFORE
                 YOUR FACE

(These words are dedicated to our veterans
who have fought in foreign wars to keep us free
who can't do that simple thing)

God Saw My Distress and Healed Me part 4

This question drives me up and down the walls
I know for certain that God has answered my calls
I can’t hang up on Him…He’s so brilliant
And I’m so little compared to Him…
Maybe I’m little in size and very insignificant compared to the most High
He gives me quite a natural high
He brings me back home and kisses me good night
Without His love, I’d be lost like a sheep losing his shepherd
I feel like I’m separated to God
As if God and I are on both sides of the coin…
Our oceans don’t collide with each other,
But He does make huge tidal waves…
And I make baby waves that swerve up and down
Like a wave’s movement, my life seems to have its low points and high points
But, when I build enough energy, I glide higher than the clouds
Though, unfortunately, I’ve only been dreaming this
Then, I collapse into the sand...my face rubs against it and I have scrapes all over
Sand and water do mix well, but afterwards, the sea shore’s weight will pile up on the bottom of the ocean floor
I can’t imagine how many grains of sand there are on Earth
There are countless amounts of ants on Earth as well
Trillions and trillions of them are in existence
It’s amazing how plants take in Carbon Dioxide
And we breathe in oxygen…
God is a fantastic creator and He did carve His creations pretty well
God saw my distress and He healed me
When I think about Him, I’m speechless and can’t say much
He’s made out of love and He bubbles me up with excitement
I haven’t given Him the credit of working miracles in my life…
But, I don’t want to divorce God…I must propose to Him like a wife
Does to her husband…I want to submit to Him
He made the sunset, the moon and stars
Look! He even made the planets and He healed our scars
He made the flowers, the roses and the creeping bugs
Look! He even made leaves for our eyes to see…
He made the change of seasons
God saw my distress and healed me
God made the wild cats, bears, reptiles
He made us have a brain that is as neat as black and white tiles
God healed me…and I’m simply glad He did so
God wiped out my distress…and He simply dressed me with happiness and He’s in high spirits to see me grow

EYE Don't See -Part 3-

My eyes
Witness your departure
My eyes
Are dripping with hopelessness…
My eyes start to blur…
Melancholy put me under pressure…
Is there a cure to my disease?

You don’t see
The shards of hope that once brought us back together
Just let me search for safety
I’m strong enough to realize that I’m no longer
The weakest prey out there…

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me whimpering like a distraught puppy left on the train tracks?

I’m close to my demise…save me and take me home

Nourish me…and be my beloved friend

Will this friendship last forever?

Hopefully it has no end

Will this cheerful moment help us get along with each other?

Because of you…I feel the need to run
I keep an eye on you – I worry that you’ll hurt yourself again
Because of you…My freedom is nearly gone
I don’t wanna be caught off guard again
Because of you…EYE can’t picture a solution for our vexing dilemma
Because of you…eye can’t focus on my long-term goal

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you sense that I’m giving in to failure?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…I can’t endure
The hardships that you place upon me…
Could you boost up my confidence to overcome
My atrocious anxiety?

I’m just waiting for some sun
To keep me in good hands…
To strengthen me with perseverance …
I’m just waiting until His son
Leads the world outtah Egypt and reveals to us…
His radiance…His dazzling Kingdom –
Vibrant with glee

Your undying sympathy dawns upon us
I’m overflowing with indescribable joy
You’re a candle in the night…
We meet eye to eye…
What a sight…what a precious sight

The Lord's Peace

Peace
The chaos is shedding
Piece
Of happiness is floating
Cease
The madness..chaos is concealing
Peace
Comes from the Lord -
To Him who mends us all...
To Him who forgives all of our sins
And downfalls
And answers everyone's calls

Silent Prayer for her Son

Her words had meant a thousand meanings but still i felt no self healing
for i had hurt her, done her wrong, called her a slave and nothing beyond
she was african but i be white, does that make us different
to see through the eyes of life and feel the nature hell bent

So many days had i been white, to insult the african woman who worked so hard
her skin, dry from the planting seasons, her hair so ratted from the water loss outside
but that same night i had called her worthless and slave she bowed her head
and i as well for it was her last wish, and that made it sacred

"Dear Lord" she said as she began her prayer and her eyes filled with tears
her silent stature, blissed with love and pure confinement, shone though
she was african but i be white, does that make us not afraid to die
to fear the darkness of the night and worship all who makes light no questions no why

"May all who recieve thy lord's love, cry to the bloodshed moon
for if man and woman be forgotten the balance of evil and good
will perish and i have seen this for my eyes turned blind by work
but here i sit with the same girl who did so and wish her no harm"

To stand up felt wrong but as she did so i followed out into the pasture
looking about i noticed the cows this african had milked 'um so many
but she was confident and bent down to the dirt that had one blue rose
i bent also not knowing if what i did was because i felt anything that arose

"And dear lord let her memories have soem of my son's
let the very feet he walked with be hers for i know they were strong
fast and smart he was but none know of he except me
but this girl right here will now know of his eternity"

And with that silent prayer sent to the heavens, i too began to cry
our shoulders shaked and our heads bobbed as the night engulfed us once more
she be african but i be white, does that make us sisters
yes, for we have both suffered and lost, loved and cherished, stood and cowered, worked till
death with blisters

MAKING IT HAPPEN part 4: Take It to God in Prayer

some wish it would happen, some want it to happen,
some don't know what happened and some don't even care
but if you're inspired you can make it happen
inspite of your limitations and fears

Nehemiah was compelled by the Holy Spirit he was determined in his mission
even though the temple had been rebuilt he knew the walls were in bad condition
he knew in order to make it happen you must first take it to God and pray
to allow the presence of the Holy Spirit to come in and have Its way

in order to make it happen take it to God and let Him make it His project
allow Him to process if for you so you'll get the result that you expect
in order to make it happen you need to be patient and plan carefully
and to have the spirit of preparation and a mindset of persistancy

we live in a remote control society where at the push of a button
we get an instant reaction
but the reality of life is that you don't always get instant satisfaction
timing is that all important factor when it comes to what one aspires to do
for it's not about us but the timing of God that we are all subject to
the kyros time of God will prevail no what what we desire or expect
and I don't need to remind you that God doesn't own a Rolex

as it's not about fast it's about experience when walking in spirituality
where everyone involved in making it happen possesses a spirit of godly unity
in order to make it happen you need to contribute by doing your part
with a spirit of perseverance fully in your heart
in order to make it happen adjust your priorities
with a proper perspective for your cause
and don't allow the haters to intervene nor make you stop nor pause
and be watchfull towards those who are trying to profit from the plight of the poor
speak truth to those in positions of power and let them know what you stand for
with the proper perspective patient planning, preparation and prayer from the start
God will help you make it happen as long as you do it with a righteousness of heart

Baby-Steps

Complicated as it may be we all take the baby a step into the light; or back light of our life, Generally we never took the time to really slow~down and inhale that one last breath before growing~up at A fast PACE.
But we manage to keep the water~afloat above gravity feet, blasting through the strucktured build that we create, for our~selfs hoping not to fall abandonately apon natures knee.
We trust blindly against the world around us, looking for that one straight answer that no one can give, except for you, for no one knows better than you.
Yes, we may ask opinions, or may know the answer, but do we really??? for it might be costly; this I will ask please take the necessary Baby~Steps to elabirate any road and take it with <<< cushion >>> Make then the right turn around guided by our father above in prayer and LOVE to full~fill the blessings that are yet still to come.

EYE Don't See -Part 4-

My heart is beating with upbeat delight
You astound me…in every shape and form
My spirit is dancing with unbreakable might
You surprise me…when you take my hand
And pull me outtah my jail-like dorm

And He dismisses me from my solitude…
My eyes are glistening with bliss…
And I’m far from my demise…
Only to find that there’s no need to feel helpless

Why do you spoil me rotten with your fatherly affection?

Just protect me from any harm
Let me make my own decisions…
To see the results in the long run

You prize me as if I’m cherished like your carefree child
You don’t understand – I’m TOO foolish and wild
I haven’t even reached to full maturity
But how eye hope to see myself grow and be set free
From the world’s mayhem
Is there a solution to this problem?

And I’m left with no answer…
My eyes are eager to see…another bright day
And the night is coming to haunt me…
I find myself slowly disappearing from sight…
When will God give me a purpose to fight?
When will He feed me His awesome might?

Just support me…especially during my downfalls
Please answer my calls!

And I’m left to venture off into His path…

Eye can’t escape my terrible nightmares
Consider my calls of acceptance…my grief weighs a ton
Let me pour forth my tears –
Do me a favor and cast away my fears
Steer me away from disorder and confusion

Eye can see you’re making great progress
You’re heading towards a brighter, superb future…

My eyes
No longer witness oblivion
My eyes
Looks beyond the earthly pain…
bEyOnD the affliction

I spot a rope in the distance. . . . .

Push aside the waves…and let me
Grab it this instant!
God feeds me His love…and treats me
Like a newborn infant!

Eye see my Father with brand-new eyes
I feel rare content
And I feel hardly any resentment

Eye
cherish
that
REMARKABLE
moment

Limitless Lust

Introduction: Limit itself has a limit of its own…

A walk, mile after mile
In quest for my lost soul,
I had forgotten how to smile
Everything felt out of control,
I fought too hard to be worthwhile
By that I got lost in my life’s hole

The regrets for mistakes I’ve made
It took me off the edge, way too far away;
Yet I tried again so hard to get off from that shade
But got caught up in my brutal fray,
The same song keeps playing with such a vicious rage,
I find myself down to my knees, nowhere to go - So I pray

A prayer to leave the worst and move onto more,
Come off this fantasy and onto reality, to be -
Closer to something I’ve been fighting for
The touch of the light cutting through the night, it rains down upon me
As I overcome the grief and believe, recovery lies ashore,
Only three steps remain, to be fixed and free.

A lesson of value I earned from my faults -
Never push yourself off the edge,
You’ll lose the only key to the vault
A life you never had to live – It too could forever be lost,
So stay confined within the limits of the limit
As it seems - Your control over lust, only can make you complete.

Soldier of God

In the presence of battle
Surrounded by smoke
Everything goes silent
Your heart pounds
As you realize
For a minute that you are alone
On that battlefield
Risking it all
For the fate of your country
You are a soldier
A soldier of God
And then you pray
Kneeling on the ground
Hands clasped
That minute stretches on
Forever praying
Then you march
Onward and fight
The fight of faith
Guided by that holy light
It seems all will see
At one point
Finally, that prayer seems to make the difference
As you win that battle

EYE Don't See -Part 2-

My eyes
Refuse to see tragedy
My eyes
Marinate in dread…unable to embrace ecstasy

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s sagging…from endless mourning
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

You don’t see
What damage you’ve done
Just let me be
Leave me alone…hand me a gun

I yearn for unspoiled glory
To make me feel perfect once more
I yearn for flawless serenity
To make me feel no regret…don’t ignore
My calls…don’t hang up on me

You don’t see
What damage you’ve done
Just hear my plea
Listen to my excruciating cries…
Listen to the truth, not the malicious lies
Our journey has just begun

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me weeping?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

Eye can’t handle the stress
Let me release my horrendous distress
Eye can see you making that same mistake
At least MY life isn’t at stake

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s weeping…do You feel my lament
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…Stepped on like cement
I’m aching with discontent… I abhor this torment
When will peace scrub off my fear?

I can’t believe my eyes
Your guiltiness flows into me…
I can’t believe I fell for your lies
Your heartless action rape my mind…you don’t see
What my EYES see…

You’ll never see
How much pressure you put me under
Unchain me from this chamber
And watch me flee…

When will you be set free?

NOT MY little JOY

    NOT MY LITTLE JOY

Everyone who knows knows it shouldn’t have gone this way
A friend I’ve had for eons knows this isn’t the way it should be
That such a threat be handed unto me
My ex-wife Peggy will say the same
That such a strengthened opponent would summon my name
Just three quicksilver years out of high school
Thought I was cruel because those guys seemed cool
Only to be confronted and finally tormented by such a gory ghoul
Without question my parents would tell you “not my boy
Not my boy who blessed this earth with his birth
And oh how cute at only ten days old he could get up on one knee
Things like this don’t happen to him, my husband or me”

And they would say those exact same words only maybe paraphrased a bit
I feel like yelling loud enough for people for miles around to hear me scream “Holy S**t
This isn’t fair and I can’t bear the thought of such a callous end
After my doing things an honest man could never defend
Looking back at the people a hurt badly enough for blood to run
And every single act of selfishness I have ever done
So now, as my every dream, plan and prayer fades
Maybe it’s righteously right that I would contact aids

JAIL BREAK part 2

there is this Rapper from Atlanta, Georgia who calls himself T.I.
who constantly got into trouble and in jail he did some time
he was once a true disciple of Christ in his younger days
a gifted and honor student until his life went astray
he found himself in all the wrong places
hanging around with all the wrong faces
but the Lord God did bless him with a special talent and gift
he had a way with the spoken word that would make a spirit lift
then one day he saw the Light and came to truly understand
that there's nothing good in this world if it doesn't come from God's hands
now he is one who advocates and tries to tell the teens
that fast money and cars, guns and drugs are not godly things
he managed to survive his misspent youth and lived to tell the tale
and like Paul and Silas God broke him out of physical and spiritual jails

we all have some type of prisons from which we need to escape
we all have some stuff binding us up and we need a jail break
in the ways of Jesus is how we should live our lives
in the ways of Jesus who for us made the sacrifice
we need to fulfill the will of God and not be a distraction
we need to be of truth and in Christ find satisfaction
to not stand in the way of that which God has designed as our destinies
to not be in anyone's business and thus hindering any testimonies

a slave girl with a spirit of premonition at Paul and Silas she would shout
until Paul saw her as a distraction and he then ordered that spirit out
the owners of that slave girl were upset and dismayed
that they could no longer use her to have riches flow their way
so to the authorities they went and reported a big fat lie
that Paul and Silas were causing the people to riot and go awry
stripped, beaten and then thrown into prison with shackles upon their feet
but at the midnight hour into prayer Paul and Silas did retreat
not to be frustrated nor to be wondering why God allowed this mess to take place
they understood that God controls everything so they waited on His mercy and grace
and at the midnight hour that prison started to quake
cell doors flew open, shackles were broken it was a jail break
a new day was dawning and a godly victory was now at hand
a jail break rendered by the power of God's omnipotent plans

no longer to be in spiritual bondage nor locked up in mental and physical cells
praying to God to change our circumstances and break us out of those jails

the nght before christmas

T' was the night before Christmas
At a house made of stone
There lived an old man By himself all alone
My sleigh stopped on the roof
With my presents to give
For the owner of this house
It's were this man do live
But when I did go there
What a strange sight did I see
No fairy lights no baubles
 Not even a tree
No pictures of family Hung on the wail
Just medals and such like Was all I could see
An old soldier was sleeping Curled up on the floor
No bed no mattress As he slept by the door
  Then I remembered the families
That I went to that night
Owed all of their freedom
From young men who were Willing to fight
  Quite soon the whole world
When children would play
And parents soon celebrate a new Christmas day
And I started to wonder How many young men
Far away from their home In a far distant land
How many felt that they were alone
That terrible thought Invoked me to cry
And I fell on my two knees And started to pray
For I have no family No children no wife
But I do thank my lord For saving my life
This old man awakened And I heard his sweet voice
Say a prayer for me Santa But this was my choice
For I have fought for freedom
And I cannot ask for more
My god is my whole life And my freedom is for sure
Then the soldier looked up at me
 it's Christmas tomorrow that's true
On your way Santa you have so much to do
I looked at my watch And I knew he was right
"merry Christmas my friend And to you a good night "

America after 1962

On June 25, 1962 prayer was taken out of school
It was like losing a ring's precious jewel
If you look into America's history
You will find that it is no mystery
From that date on we haven’t been as strong
I believe we have done something terribly wrong
What they teach in history books simply overlooks
Important information that has raised up a blind generation
Youth, family, education, and national life is far from the same
We have lost morals and values that our forefathers firmly proclaimed
A Blessed Nation under God we have always been
But in the last 50 years it has become destroyed by an abundance of sin
Divorce rate is at an all-time high
While so many children grow up fatherless and wonder why
Gang violence increases each day
Teenage pregnancy has become a common way
Young people search for love in all the wrong places
Leaders in government wear faulty faces
Role models have become extinct
Technology while good has caused many jobs to sink
A nation rife with perjury
Broken marriage covenants In need of surgery
Unforgiveness extortion bribery slander and profanity
We need God to restore us too sanity
Hypocrisy, and lawsuits initiated solely for revenge and personal gain
Doing things are own way has caused us much pain
The rich are getting richer and the poor sit back and cry
People have lost their integrity yet shake their fists at the sky
If you want to learn open a bible and begin to read
If we listened to its wisdom we wouldn’t have so much need
We have become too liberal as a whole
Besides having so much debt, we are all losing our souls
If anyone talks about God in school they risk losing their profession
Yet more and more young people suffer from anxiety and depression
Many are on medication making doctors filthy rich
So many people are dying in their own emotional ditch
Statistically we are on a downward spiral
Many people turn their heads or just live in denial
History is important to learn
For it shows us how quickly society can turn
We all have to answer to God someday
And if I were you I would start to learn his way
For if we are going to continue to be America the best
We have to take a moment to address
All the ways we have allowed this country to slip
Take personal responsibility and restore our spiritual grips
Weneed to take back the people's power
We are living in a crucial hour
If we don’t open our eyes ears and mouths we will fall instead of just bend
who knows this time if this damage we can mend.

We Were All There That Day

All of us were there that day/
Yet not in the physical aspect,
It was a very spiritual notion/
Not some encounter from a heavenly omen,
Beneath the soil amidst a great gulf fix,
Some have become a bit transparent/

Perhaps a little cumbersome ?

While other's having claimed to experience all the fullness,
Little did they know that king's and queen's would all bow to thee,
Amidst the given turmoil of the unfortunate vast excursion !
Still in the garden that day they all fell asleep/
Yet still all of us were there,
When the roman solder's ripped off your beard !

Still some of us it's too hard to fathom it,
Some finding it to intense and a bit weird !
Having common passerby's spit in his face/
While still there were many angels in waiting to take vengeance on those,
Yet Jesus didn't choose that route of passage,

With no sense of remorse nor a common disgrace,

We were all their that day !
Even when beloved Mary your loving mother wept !
Fashioned with real tears for her son,
While they tore into his flesh !
Until there was nothing left but exposed bone,
When all the nails had mounted you to the rugged cross/
We all knew that this wasn't some tragic loss !

With words', "Father please forgive them for they know not what they do ?"
He said the prayer now the rest is up to you ?
We all had learned Lord what your beloved father really knew/
We were all there that day/
When after three days you suddenly rose from the grave !
Although still many had rejected you ?

The god of this world had blinded many eyes/
Does all of this come at some big surprise for it is written in the scriptures for our benefit ?
Lest they all should see and be healed,
For even Pilate had found no fault in thee,
Yet he gave into the crowds cry's and demands !
Having vicious fangs nor swollen teeth/
Which all gnash abruptly !

Having a fish dinner with Peter for breakfast/
The was fully after your grand exit,
We were all there that day/
Henceforth, even to this present moment in time,
Today, everything we pray for we can all visualize you being there,

For we were all their that day !

Are You God ophobic

Are You God-ophobic? I’ve heard of phobias of different kinds. I’m sure there’s many people with “confused” minds. But there’s one “phobia” that concerns me the most. It’s a “God phobia” that’s drawing so close. It’s like people have a phobia of “In God we trust.” While so many of their lives are burdened with lust. A lust for pleasure and whatever “pleases for the moment.” Many are looking for various kinds of “fulfillment.” But fearing and obeying God? This sounds absurd! Why should anyone care? Much less… Read his word? Even prayer seems to be “a thing of the past.” How much longer will this country last? What we should fear… Is the wrath of God that will come… For not believing and accepting Jesus… His son! Everything we’ll ever need. Has already been provided! An abundant life with Christ can now be decided! Won’t you accept his gift of life everlasting? And look beyond human reasoning and understanding? Put your faith in God. And HIM alone! So you too, can have a place in his eternal home! By Jim Pemberton

Today, I was sitting in the PX snack bar sipping a cup o' joe,
Just biding my time while my spouse was busily spending dough!
There was a host of intriguing people passing by in review.
I couldn't help but muse about them as I savored my cup o' brew.

I peered back thro' the mists of time when I was a swaggering youth,
Proudly wearing my uniform. (I was smitten with nostalgia, to tell the truth!).
Watching those young soldiers strolling by, my soul was filled with pride,
But I was jolted from my reverie, knowing that too many like them have died.

A sergeant hobbled by on crutches, no doubt wounded in the war.
So young, so very young, thought I, to have seen such morbid gore.
His son, about five years old I'd judge, marched proudly at his side.
I couldn't help but note the love and pride exhibited by his bride.

An old veteran leaned on his cane and was tenderly guided by his wife.
No doubt, he was a Greatest Generation hero who'd see his share of strife.
Gathered around a table were grey-haired veterans enjoying lunch.
Tho' I couldn't hear their banter, they traded war stories was my hunch.

A young mother and her kids scurried by - their soldier I suspect was overseas.
I'm sure her fervent prayer was, "God, bring him home safely, will you please?"
Watching the parade at Fort Carson PX is one that to me will never grow old.
Each member of the unique military fraternity has an epic tale to be told!

JUST A PRAYER

LORD...YOU KNOW MY STRUGGLES, MY TRIAL AND TRIBULATIONS THATS GROWN IN MANY STAGES. SOMETIMES I WONDER WHY MY HARDSHIPS PLAYED A PART IN PERFECTING ME, AS TIME UNFOLDS SEEMS LIKE I'M ALWAYS INVOLVED IN A WAR, MENTALLY AND SPIRITUALLY FIGHTING WITH THESE DEMONS THAT SEEK TO DESTROY MY SOUL. THERE IS SOMETHING INSIDE OF ME WORKING ON MY OUTTER BEING, IS IT THE ANNOINTING THAT I'M FEELING? THAT PROTECTS ME FROM THE STORMS, GOD... SHIELD ME WITH YOUR MERCY AND COVER ME BY YOUR GRACE, LEAD ME BESIDE THE STILL WATERS WHEN MY FLESHLY SELF STARTS TO FORSAKE ME. I'VE BEEN BATTERED AND BRUISED PUSHED ASIDE AND DESPISED. THE ENEMY USE THE ONES I DEARLY LOVED AGAINST ME WHEN THERE'S TIMES HE CAME NEAR ME...LORD HELP ME-I SEEK YOUR FACE, YOUR PRESENTS IS NEEDED THIS SEASON. I'M TRYING TO WALK BY FAITH BUT EVEN PETER LOST HIS FOCUS. YOUR WORD SAYS YOU'LL DELIVER TO THOSE WHO CALL UPON YOUR NAME SO LORD, I ADMIT THAT I AM A SINNER AND I ASK THAT YOU BLOT OUT MY INNIQUITY, CREATE ME A NEW HEART CLEANSE ME FROM MY SOUL. THIS IS JUST A PRAYER FROM A JUST MAN THAT IS STRIVING TO LIVE RIGHT...AMEN

Isis

Goddess may'st thou bless me
,thou of most divine mien.
guide thou my steps in life's
journey of dangers rife.
May I be above wrath
and not stray in thy path,
and find thy torch in gloom
of darkness's death fumes,
fleeing death's pavilion
so that I may ascend
thy stars bajillion
as the world I transcend

to live in what is divine
by grace of the muses nine.
May Maat find my soul divine,
my heart,nature's benign sign,
and I with virtue dine
in justice's holy shrine.

Tornado

Look up in the sky! Such a frightening sight! the winds are a churning in horizontal flight!

It started with hail slamming down to the ground, then no showboating, things were floating, when you looked all around, I saw a cow, I don,t know how, being lifted up in the air!

Confounded and astounded, I must find a way to get out of here!

Suddenly! through the dark cloud a strange thing did appear, an extremely loud funnel cloud, that my eyes and ears could not bear.

A huge and great menace, it moved most supernaturally, this wondrous wind wonder hadn't left me anyplace to flee!

With nowheres to run and lil time left to wait, I threw out my hands in prayer and accepted my fate.

Mighty mighty wicky wicky mighty mighty woe woe

Mighty mighty wicky wicky mighty mighty woe woe
Wouldn’t it be cool to be like G.I JOE
Cruising with Barbie goin to the might rock show
Couldn’t make heads or tails of where to go
Sometimes toys flow from the mind I find
With different thoughts of all kind of ways
Mighty mighty wicky wicky mighty mighty woe woe
Only you can prevent forest fire
Finding the nature of human desire
Comic books are cool I read heroes for hire
Mighty mighty wicky wicky mighty mighty woe woe
Stuck in a paradox of the mind
Answers escape the madness that I find
Music is a relation to the world you see
It’s the answer to a prayer from me to you
Mighty mighty wicky wicky mighty mighty woe woe

Honesty

To be brutally honest with you

We stake our claim to fame
Among falling ambers with feathers for wings
Through a barrage of disgust & then,
For a fallen world in quite a rush

He knows that if he can control your thoughts

That in effect he can control your mind
At one time I could see yet today I'm totally blind
To be brutally honest with you
That effective fervor prayer of the righteous one

From such prayers availeth very much

To resist him will result in a flee

The bruised reed shaken in the wind
Although, Papa was a rolling stone;
He was never to be found very far from home
In matters of solace degree

To be brutally honest with you
A transformed hermit was once a slave
That fully claimed thread,
In noticable silent dread

Some engrafted in essential sought after fabrication

With silver streak to faintly prey on the weak
To be brutally honest with you
A slight of hand once delivered out of divination
In solemn mass to profess a vested proclamation

To be brutally honest with you !

One Day In April

I remember after three weeks of fasting
and praying with heart and soul,
pleading to The Lord that He help me,
that He hasten to me and console.

Then one day in April,
as I stood by a mighty river:
I looked and suddenly there before me,
appeared a vision that caused me to shiver.

The vision was about to speak to me.
I grew pale and weak with fright;
then fell to the ground face downward
unable to bear the sight.

His eyes were like pools of fire,
with feet and arms of polished brass;
and like the sound of a mass of people
His voice roared strong and vast.

He placed his hands upon me.
I was lifted up from the ground;
and as my knees were trembling,
the voice began to resound:

"Oh dear Daniel, beloved of God,
listen to what I have to say: Do not fear!
For I have been sent here
to answer your prayer this day."

"Soon a mighty battle will come to pass
evil powers will fight against The Lord;
but God's faithful will hold firm until the end...
then the righteous shall receive their reward at last."

The Light Of Love

It is by the light of love re-birth unfolds,
A tonic of just course and common events;
Touched by the grace of the knowledge of the one,
Chiseled from fate and molded into destiny,

Like being the image looking back through the mirror,
Objective thought carried on the waves of time;
The blank slate with a mission on the way to death,
A site unblemished without hate, fury or envy.

We carry our flag drenched in an epic story of our ego’s quest,
Towards a singular haven at the conception of our being;
Liquid rainbow colors floating our forms in divine pleasure,
Hearts pounding in symmetry to the whispers of angelic wings.

A prayer of wishful grace absorbed in our mind’s eye,
Where truth is but a lip ness test open to subjective thought;
Ending at the core of our moral and ethical ideals,
As re-birth unfolds upon us by the very light of love.

ONE BOLD BLACK SOUL

often in the grand scheme of God's desires
He will use mankind to do what He requires
His providential purposes God's master plans
will utilize any and all types of man

the Pharoah declared a most horrendous decree
of infanticide on Jewish male babies
to put them to death to keep their numbers down
fearful of having too many Jewish males around
but history has a way of repeating itself again and again
as the young Black male populations today hangs by a fringe
with incarcerations, police brutality and killing each other
we're on the verge of eradicating our young Black brothers
a supposed threat to society that same old racist mentality

yet all it takes is for God to send someone to be bold
one person unafraid to break away from the mold
over 400 years of praying and keeping hope alive
a people once in slavery but today they now thrive
from Moses to Jeremiah to the Rev. Dr. King
to President Barak Obama God can change anything
One Bold Black Soul to say what needs to be said
One Bold Black Soul whose life is spirit-led

don't let the world compromise your moral integrity
let prayer be the tool you use to claim the victory
you need some solitude to simply reflect
on that which God desires of you and what of you He expects
God will be what you want no matter what you need
and He will do whatever is needed to help you succeed
so walk in the spirit and just wait for your time
and be ready to act when God gives you a sign
to be called into place with God's saving grace

Jeremiah told the people of the prophecy
about their demise if they confront their enemy
he was then thrown into a pit full of mud and slime
his death to be a certainty in a very short time
but One Bold Black Soul stepped up to the plate
and told the King to save Jeremiah before it was too late
One Bold Black Soul an Ethiopian man
told of the soldiers diabolical plans

to be bold, to be risky, to be resilient in your resolve
to step out of your comfort zone until the problem is solved
from Rosa Parks to Medgar Evers to Malcolm X
to do what is prevalent and not what society expects
creative in courage, inspired with innovation
by any means necessary to change the situation
One Bold Black Soul willing to step out on a limb
to stop history from repeating itself once again

The Talisman Knights part II

IV

And so the Talisman knights reveled for a time,
Alone, adrift;
But it was not long before goodly vengeance came hard and swift,
For Alan the True and his band of knights rode through fear and doubt,
And when he arrived upon that sickly green plain,
He and his host did shout;

"You have raped to gain your sight,
Lost all that is precious and right,
And now you demons will die justly and well;
You will end this bloody day in hell!"

V

The two armies of might battled and fought through that day,
And nary a prayer to the gods did one say,
And when the moons rose once again in that green land of death,
The good men had taken the last evil breath,
A victory... of a kind,
On the blood-stained plains of victory, stood a scarred and tortured mind,
A mind that shed a tear and shied away,
As he surveyed his fallen enemies that day...

VI

And in the aftermath Alan led the good men of his host to a hill,
That those knights could look down upon the blood they had spilled,
The red stained, white clad Talisman knights, laid out in droves upon the green and crimson
ground,
Dead and dying, or otherwise bound,
And Alan's knights viewed that moon-jade field, lush deranged,
And there, beneath the dead men of both armies;
The green disappeared, and the land was so changed.
And once more that land was a scar,
A pitiable place, from near and afar,
The evil is gone, and the goodness restored,
To a land that is sterile, and always abhorred.

On The Road To Vezalay Part 3

Along The Road To Avalon

The journey long and full f thought, of values gained
and lessons taught. Of what I wanted and what I had,
a quest of honour that turned so sad. I entered the
woods with a heaving heart, eight long years since the
journey start. Yet I see the trees and leaves as yesterday,
the birds sweet melody and how the fox did play. The
sun through the branches danced, blossom fell and
young deer pranced I approached where we once lay,
nought a sound as bluebells sway. I dug a trench and
broke my lance, shed my armour , dismissed its worth,
covered them with petals and finally with earth. I made
a cross from sword and hilt, the blood now gone and
free from guilt. As I knelt in prayer I felt the strangest
stare, I turned and caught the eye of a boy with golden
hair. She said you would return, the old ways you would
spurn. I come here every day, sit and watch the shadows
play. He came and sat beside me, his eyes searched not
knowing quit what to see. Did you find what you wanted
he said, what I wanted I already had. As he leant forward
his tunic came apart, and there I saw the star above his
heart. She, this woman I said, my mother he said. She is
waiting and has been always. But why did she run away,
you had a destiny to fill, questions and answers to find,
A sense of duty to all else blind. He took my hand we
walked and talked. The sun was strong it warmed our
backs, as we walked those twisting winding tracks in
the woods of Avalon

dressed for the occasion

do people understand that the way to make a good presentation
one needs to be properly dressed for the occasion ?
be it a wedding, a battle of a school graduation
one needs to be suitably attired for the situation

as a believer of God, I'm a Christian soldier on the front line
a prayer driven warrior whom on God's word I stand behind
fighting against principalities seen and unseen
defending the word of God and all that it means
putting on the whole armor of God with a heart full of righteousness
ready to engage in battle and for the occasion properly dressed

strong in the Lord and trusting in His omnipotent powers
outfitted to take on the enemy at any given hour
standing bold with the Belt of Truth tightly around my waist
with the Breastplate of Righteousness rigged firmly in place
feet tricked out with the readiness of the Gospel of Peace
holding the Shield of Faith to stop the weapons of destruction when they're released
sporting the Helmet of Salvation upon my blessed head
wielding the Sword of the Spirit that is by God's word spiritual fed
dressed for the occasion wearing the whole armor of God
suitably attired for battle with a spiritual desire in my heart

Don't Stop Praying

you've been praying to the Lord God you have an emergency
and you hope that He will respond to your prayers immediately
but hold on, you've got it twisted, you need to comprehend
that God answer prayers, BUT WHEN it's up to Him
so don't stop praying and don't hang up that spiritual telephone
don't stop praying even if you only get a dial tone

Cornelius was in his house praying for a blessing
down on his knees, his situation was most stressing
and on the fourth day at the ninth hour
he saw the manifestation of God's almighty power
an angel appeared before him at God's behest
an angel appeared before him to answer his prayer request

God answers prayers but many fail to understand
that He answers prayers according to His master plan
it might be at the midnight hour, it might be at the ninth
just stay on the line praying even if it takes all day and all night
and be you a Jew or a Gentile, we're all children of the God the Lord Christ
the Soul Provider, the Saving Messiah whose death was the salvation of our lives

the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End
the Prince of Peace, the Living God, our Eternal Friend
He's the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Trinity
the One who created the universe and all humanity
He's the One who breathe life back into those old dry bones
the One who occupies the seat of the highest throne
He's the One who protected Daniel in the lion's den
the One who sent angels to watch over him
He's the One who shielded Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego
from the fiery fires burning in King Nebuchadnezzar's inferno
He fed five thousand with just two fish and five loaves
and compelled the people to come hear Him in droves
and when that woman with the bleeding sickness touched His garment hem
it was the power in Him to answer prayers that made the flow of blood stem
He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind and voice to the mute
He gave us the universal parables of wisdom that even the Pharisses could not refute
and on the way to Mount Calvary He bore the cross of the sins of mankind
and said to His Father with His last breath "forgive them" for they know not their own minds

so don't stop praying and give the Lord the chance
to come into your life and change your circumstance
don't stop praying just keep the lines of spiritual communication open and clear
don't stop praying to God the Lord Christ just wait for your miracle or an angel to appear

CHRISTMAS MOURN

The cry's rang out all through the night.
In Moweaquas' town of sorrow.
On Christmas Eve 1932 took the joy of their tomorrows.
Pressure dropped, gas escaped, carbide hats ignited.
Their valiant search was all in vain. In prayer and hope united.
54 coal miners died that day. Fathers, sons, and brothers.
My grandpa Dowd was one of them.
Leaving five kids and my grandmother.
Ending the era of carbide lighted hats in all U.S. coal mines.
A heavy price they had to pay. The rules weren't changed in time.
Mining ceased in that little town. None left to work or labor.
A monument placed with all names traced.
CHRISTMAS MOURN remembered forever!

When the Stars Fell Down--First Sacrament

heaven opened up once to the eyes of Man. the reached up to the sky to be led by the hand. but no one came. no one came, no one came. their eyes strained to see the twilight sun, the stars came down and stained their burned tears as the End begun. no one came. no one came, no one came and the stars fell down and still no one came. Man laid down on their tear-struck faces as the stars fell down and wiped out their holy places, all around the world and no one came. no one came when the sun fell down, no one came when the sky made sound. thunder rolled as the chimes tolled, heaven and hell were at war again, but no one came no one came. the Devil was loose and no one came. The Sephiroph tied the noose, but no one was sent to the burning earth. no one was in the Garden to answer the call, no one was in Valhalla's hall. so no one came. god and his angels had already fought this war once upon a time ago, and no one wanted to revisit that cataclysmic sorrow. the stars came down and neither angel nor god would dare spill immortal blood. star fire and hailstorm came down from the mountains in torrential flood. the chimes were ringing and star rain was stinging, would no one come? neither angel nor grigori would stand and take Man by the hand. the judges waited for salvation to come, but no wing or sword would ever come. no prayer made a sound when the stars fell down. No one came no one came.

man of no face

he comes to me,
in the night, in my sleep.
no death i wonder, through which portal came,
he comes to me.

and there i see,
in the truth , the light.
no prayer unturned, through third eye became,
and there i see.

in the night , in my sleep, death may wonder through the dark,
in the light, in the deep, breath of day through out my heart,

the love of lost, the love of deep and still i sleep, i sleep, i sleep...
