Boy oh boy and a girl

I wish to claim
My boyness
My yesterday sillyness
Innocent shyness
My crinkled nose grininess
That hide and seekiness
Spin the bottle
kind of geekiness

Getting caught
My hand in the cookie jarness
That pushing too farness
Collecting comic charminess
Pulling pigtales
Stolen kisses
Hidden playboy kinda business
Cop a feel inquisitiveness

Being a bit
Self conscience
A true life witness
Loving the mysterious
Laughing more than being serious
Feeling delirious
Not afraid
Somewhat curious

Wondering
About adultness
What it was all aboutness
Thinking that it lead to freeness
I'd know just how to be ness
Eating what I want
Staying up late kinda keeness

Now I wonder
What was the rushness
To reach adultness
Full of it's doubtiness
What's it all aboutness
I witness it's dreamlessness
It's no longer about me-ness
More mundane
To much sane-ness
Routine and sameness
No one cares if you cameness
Less is less
And more is moreness
Can't see the trees
Through the dark forest

So grab onto your girliness
I'll bring my boyness
There will be more
Way more
Yesirey
Hotdigity
Joyousness
No more boringness
We'll spin in circles
Enjoy our dizziness
After all
Having fun
Is a serious business!

Enigmas of the soul
Do you know how it feels?

Never tasted before

Goodbye, My Child

Where cradled canyons sing
Of ebony wood in the forest
There lies a gurgling spring
Where cockcrows sing their chorus
To the melody of singsong birds
There I’ve concealed my sensuous words
Filled with befitted signs
The saccharine whiff of my designs

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Where the fogs of night are fountains
Spills of glistened moon ignite
By distant silhouette mountains
We dance with passion of fight
Entwining ancient stance
Mingling hand in hand we dance
Till the mountains smile on high
Near and far we spring
To pursue the realest of dreams
While the world cries at its seams
Anxious in trouble to cling

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

To where the ridges merry make
From the beaks of wooden bright
In sparkly pools the ghouls awake
That scarce to stir our night
We watch for seekers down under
Muttering secrets in their soul
We bid them lucks of shivers
Dipping gently in
From reeds that hide a tear of a foal
Under the gentle rivers

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Far away she shall ever churn
The taciturn eyed
She’ll listen no more to turn
To the working mills beside
Or the scrubbing of the barn
May peace weave in her song
She shall wave in the yarn
To a haven known as Belong

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

For she comes, the mortal youth
To the wild realm of her truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only her tears be found

Leaving, Searching, Hoping

Ahead of us lies the unknown

The flatline horizon betrays

The beating heart of the ocean

Each beat causing a swell

Each swell causing us to sway

Out in the open, enclosed in the womb

Umbilically linked to our mother

Daily we reminisce of the island we left behind

The families that will live without us

The paths we will never walk again

We try to keep our thoughts on new paths

On stepping in the footprints of our ancestors

But darkness falls and fear reigns over us

Shrouding hope in a veil of obscurity

Will we fall into non-existence

Will we wish our existence to end

Damnable transient emotions

Ever dispelling our confidence

In the gloom hangs a twinkle of hope

Our hearts mirrored by the sky

Opening and showing us the way

A timeless voyage into our island universe

Cowboys

A man named Ben stood on a slope looking at the gates of hell,
He swore they’d never turn back, him and his best friend Del.
They knew the bandits came this way, they’d left a sloppy trail,
Sheriff and posse had given up but they, would never fail.

He reached into his saddle where he pulled some paper out,
Posters of the bandits, who had brought them on this route
There was Crooked Jake a killer who was merciless and drear,
He shot you if you looked at him, his colleges were full of fear.

Then came Baba Barber as hairy as a lamb,
But nothing gentle about this one, he head-butt’s like a ram.
The third was Festus Farlow a man with just one eye,
Yet the fastest gun in Texas causen many a widow to cry.

Ben turned to Del and with a sigh he mounted his beige mare,
Said, “guessen we’d better git started, Del ma frind tek care.”
The two had ridden hours with bandanas on their face,
Which only helped a little, for sand was all they could taste.

Both saw many carcasses and bones, bleached white from sun,
But also knew these badlands are not a place for fun.
All at once Del’s stallion, stood with hoofs boxing empty air,
Sent him flying to the ground, and in a rattlers face did stare.

Now when he fell he’d landed on a hard and rocky bed,
So he grabbed a stone and in a flash, crushed that rattlers head.
Ben had reached for his riffle ready to take a shot,
Knowing the sound of gunfire would give away their spot.

Six days later found cowboys, with cracked lips and weary bones,
Now huddled by the campfire listening to familiar tones.
High up on the rocky hill, a wolf sang to the skies,
His silhouette rare beauty, appeasing to their eyes.

Still sleeping at the crack of dawn, a voice woke them abrupt,
Crooked Jake stood before them, his hand his gun did cup.
He started laughing at the two still lying there in bed,
And Ben and Del were certain, that they would soon be dead.

Now Festus and old Baba, were going through their sacks
Finding pictures of two women, they had just shot in their backs,
Then they took their horses, saddles, hats and boots, sayen
‘’You’s ain’t gunna need these, when Festus Farlow shoots.”

Two good friends were shaking now as a dozen shots rang out,
And when loud echoes finally ceased, dead bandits lay about.
Ben and Del stood in a daze, and checked for bullet holes,
The sheriff and posse had come back, God, bless their souls.

Whisper Of Your Soul

           Whisper Of Your Soul
       (Soul Listens On A Whisper)

Murmurs soft are sensed, mimic nature, diaphanous clouds spread wide
Settle softer than a translucent butterfly on spring light snow
It is the moon flirting in ebullience, fog rising on a thin film on winds side
Lifting skirts or is it veils? Unknown in this muted light of whispers glow

Mist rolls across the bog, pulls along reluctant virgin night
By golden glow, that holds the sky in humble hush, abeyance in a trance
Tracking down the birth of morning, bursting full of light
Barely able to mutter the words, “the light of day”, the endless dance

You feel the vibrant tones, fold over meadows as you go
A vestigial tiny vessel of a virgin’s secret opens here
Chasing dark away along the marsh with pounding heart to know
The open glen is near, fills up in brilliant colors clear

Soft luscious sounds fall silent on the morning air and then
Listen, it whispers on the minutia of the moment something true
Holds on to quiet in the silent glen
Waiting on a whisper Imbued with truth, soft thoughts of you

Between The Kisses And Distances

       Between The Kisses And Distances

What is that shape now taking place out there?
If distance could have a name it would be passion
A hunger for my love as she draws near
Eye candy on the wind is fashioned

Distances grow remote, in a faraway place
Filled with emptiness and the unknown
I’m fevered, with anxiety, until I see her face
Until she is here with me and safe at home

I study every step my precious love makes
Coming from the distance brings her closer still
A small figure against what a vast landscape takes
Hair flowing out along the cliffs and hills

Between the kisses and distances mysteries are born
Like magic she appears with glowing face and smiles
Our love will keep us fireplace warm
To savor Valentine embraces and kisses along the miles

childhood fantasies

i was six and you were nine
you would pack sunlight into a jar
tell me it was mine.

at night it lit my room.

when the stars were out
you'd throw stones to wake me up.

butterfly nets in hand
we'd catch stars from the sky
save them in our pockets.

i'd hand you my water gun
you’d load one at a time
pull the trigger
and yell
"quick wish on a shooting star."

now twenty and more old
i still have the jars
i still own every wish
i uttered silently
on those moonlit eves.

it was you
in my dreams
in my smile

always kind.

i only had one wish
you and i
clad in the innocence
of those times,

of dreams and laughs
i only wished
it would never end,
and your sunshine
safe in my memories
our childhood sealed in those jars.

Light On the Devil's Chord - Day 2

I awoke the next day, with a soft smile,
Not awakened by the screeching and the moaning of the demons beside,
But of the intense breathing of my collaborator,
Crouching above me, glaring me down with eyes abhorred
Though in a flash, the fury in his reptilian pupils disintegrated
Into a strange grin
“How do you rest, woman, in the cradles of chaos all about you?”
I looked at him from where I lay, searching for his purpose in asking
“I need my strength, and in my sleep I find inspiration…”

“Sleep…” He sang…
His eyes gazed above and melted down into my own again..

“Sleep is so alien to me now…distant…a bewildering past regret-
How one can do so much, in a day… or night,
While others dream up dull dreams…dull inspirations…
How one who watches, fulfills…plots…kills…
And one who overlooks, with eyes of lack shut,
Dies more quickly in their ignorance…
Death crouches, waiting in your rest,
Death be fate in the closing of your foolish eyes…
Be it not wisdom you seek?
Perhaps your rest will rattle at the sound of the word
Discovery—excitement…does it draw you near?
Answer me, my dear,
For these days dwindle, and I have you less and less,
As the hours pass and pass…”

I realized then, that I could not sit up
For in the night, as I trustingly slept,
His broad wings designed my snare,
Black soot…sucking me down to the ground
Fear crawled about me, though I dare not struggle
In the blackness…his eyes more molded in me,
Than the trap that knotted me

“Sleep…” I sang, Hades crawling around the pit in which I lay…
Satan sneered and turned away, but listened very closely…
“It is what brings us the light,
The trust of a brand new day,
Beating upon even the weakest of wings…
Bringing strength in supple cloud, so pure…so pleasant,
How it envelopes the skies in which we gaze
Into dreams often more appealing than reality’s blaze…
I speak for I know, in closing my eyes,
Discovery so grand beyond space or time…
Our own minds bring knowledge that never quenches the soul…
Though when stirred by spirit of our Creator, we find we are never starved
Yes, we are limitless in our thoughts,
Our rest is beguiling …tempered, controlled
Though gentle, freeing, collective in fold…”

I reached my hand to his wing, the soot shriveling…
And he shuttered and pulled away
“Why then….!?” He spat in anger…
“Why do you say rest is so freeing,
When awakened by my breathing you are trapped…?
Yes, you are mine, and yet you smile,
You are soft, in the volcanic eruption of my style,
You are HATED, scorned, negated…
Yet you speak as if rest will bring me light,
What if rest never comes,
To the greatest of mind,
We flock, we tumble, we stalk,
Because it is all we will ever want!
We judge, we laugh, we taunt,
For it is in our blood to haunt…
If dreams be your ally,
Than nightmares of reality be mine…
You are immovable, like a swine hanging,
Freshly slaughtered…
No longer grunting, for breath leaves you
Your desire to feel alive overwhelms you…
Your lack of knowledge of me enshrouds you…
Truth it be, in heaven once bound,
I find your company more duller than the ground
You anger me so,
Like a wilting rose
Your beauty once fresh in the excitement of new
Now you are garbage, slave of the slab
And I hold the whip you cannot dream to grab!”

I sighed, the music heavy on my soul,
Crushing me, my breath light and weak

“I wake up to your crying Fallen Foe…
All around me, the screaming…screeching…sorrows and woe…
I sing you hope…no longer can you see…
That what I wake up to is your eager breathing to know me…”

This left him silent for a while…
Death grimaced and shook his head
Satan sat in the soot, confounded almost,
His wings lowering, a black, tethered feather brushing against my face

“Sing with me…”

My eyes averted from the darkness,
I could see a faint light… where was it coming from…?

And together, like chimes, we sang all the day…
About dreams, and nightmares,
Brightness, and gray…

“Slaves of song we must agree,
This light we see, is new and free,
But is it freedom that we two seek?
Do we lie in wait for our souls to peak…
That discovery, in truth,
In reality or dream,
Is the vision we both painfully seek”

The harmonic dissonance of demons faint…
Music so tense, unyielding of strain…
He looked into my eyes brazenly,
Casting shadows on the new-found light…
Challenged once again

I Was Young When I Left Home

T'was a splendid night and  I'm feeling
Hopelessly unknown
'Had a good ol' time, just areeling
With stories to be told
Now the paint is running out of the frame
With my pockets emptied of all loose change

I was young when I left home

When the heart is great and the world
Proves itself too small
When a stark ambition arises
If only to fall
The battlefield was left bloody and cold
They all had knives and I came through alone

I was young when I left home

Now I hear your name from the darkness
As I'm walking through the snow
And a pleasant warmth embraces me, seeps
Deep into my bones
There is no pretence in your sweet smile
And I find the strength to go the extra mile

I was young when I left home

While You Sleep

While you sleep I tell you all of the things I keep inside throughout day.
Now that you can hear but not listen I find them much easier to say.
My hopes, my dreams, my fears, and everything in between
Your subconscious hears so keen, or so it seems.
My tongue is soft; I speak so sweetly
Knowing your reaction will never greet me.

Tonight will be different in what I want you to know.
It has everything to do with what I can’t help but show.
I hold no claim to any religion but you’ve given me a place for my faith.
Somewhere it will never stale or lose its lavish taste.
You’ve shown me something I can see, touch, and feel,
And so before it I choose to kneel.

I know I don’t say it but I miss you every day.
Sitting, thinking of the perfect words to be my choice,
Yet when you call I can’t find any of the right words to say.
I’m just happy to finally hear your voice.
Even just a moment is enough to sooth my heavy heart;
Fearing the ends of conversations knowing we’ll have to part.

I’ll never be too far from you, always within arm’s reach,
And in your days of darkness I’ll be the light that you will seek.
I’ll never let you leave too far from me, I’ll stay close behind you in this world;
Secretly protecting what is mine, you will always be my girl.
I only want the best for you so the best of me I will employ.
Faithfully yours, I will always be your boy.

I close my eyes and kiss your soft sweet lips
And see the very best of you in loving bliss.
I see past the physical which makes you attractive
And focus on the things I can’t see in which I’m attracted.
Your thoughts I’d love to hear them all.
Of the things you speak disinterest never makes its call.

My day will come, I know someday I’ll be the only one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give, to love unconditionally.
Yes our day will come, I know someday we’ll be as one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give… to love unconditionally.

Being you

Being you

Accept yourself
That’s all that I can say
Let your inner voice tell you
The way to live your day
Do not be hard upon yourself
That never did no good
Just be happy, never worry
It’s foolish that one should.

Love yourself
Cause you’re a ‘one off’ too
No one else can play your part
Nobody can be you
It’s a lovely world we live in
Let it seep into your soul
Then when you feel at one with life
Twill get you feeling whole.

Most people call me crazy
But I love being me
I do not care what others think
I only like to be
To be this way, it is my right
A gift sent down by fate
I’m so I’m happy being me
Each day to me is great.

World above the clouds

Far away from this bonded crowd,
Far away from these layers of
shroud,
Oh wings of the air glide me away,
To the world, world above the
clouds.

To the giant mountains of mist,
Where sparkling houses of rain
will
be built,
World beneath where would be
moving,
And sun rays where will be cold
and soothing.

Where I won’t be bound by laws,
And I could speak freely about
the
things I love aloud,
Yeah to the world with cloud
above the clouds,
Where everything just everything
will be allowed.

Sliding on morning dews that stays
till night,
Diving in the night’s sky that looks
like morning light,
With no paths to follow,
I’ll glide free and fast,
Yawing, pitching, bouncing,
shouting,
Like the endless penumbra it’s
unknown where I’ll last
Yeah endless it is,
And it’s unknown where I’ll last

No Chain, No Charm

In Unison-
~No Chain, No Charm~

United we own
Firm, full of finest goodies-
Our ground of freedom.

United we stand
Firm from failure and horror-
On the ground of strength.

United we pray
Faithfully with open mind-
Our bliss is assured.

Moments In Time

The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark

The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.

Rhyme XOX

I just want my summertime
To be at a stand still.
Sometimes, when women cross my mind,
I'm not sure just what to feel.

I'd like to call her friend,
And I want us to mean something.
I can find several, yet in the end,
It seems like all I have is nothing.

So where is the evidence
That says I should move forward?
Show me a sign that's heaven sent;
A point I should move toward.

An Epic Battle With A Simple Question

A beautiful heart pines from afar. To parallel freedom, we choose our master. In Love, the Dragon and Unicorn are! Celestial winged heart beats faster, Over mountain and ocean meet polar eyes. To parallel freedom, we choose our master. Embarking from sun brewed and moonshine skies Two alien races, in war, collide. Over mountain and ocean meet polar eyes. All brothers' swords raise, marching with pride. Sisters of heaven let feathers fly. Two alien races, in war, collide. The angered clouds rain blood from the sky. A new path finally found. Sisters of heaven let feathers fly. Brothers' swords low now to the ground. A beautiful heart pines from afar. A new path finally found. In Love, the Dragon and Unicorn are! In universe Out bound energy Where are we when we die?

Hidden Mountains

A solo pilot, lost in snow,
in a jagged mountain pass,
his eyes are trained upon each tree,
and the shape of each crevasse…
In an open-cockpit time machine,
the winter wind does howl,
but a mighty fire’s burning bright,
inside the engine cowl.
The fog and flurry blinding him,
he searches for a trail,
running late, and miles behind,
he’s employed to fly the mail.
He looks for clues to lead him back,
like ancient, sunken wagon tracks.
A mumbled cuss, then shouts out loud,
he’s heard that mountains hide in clouds…
Now’s the time to pay the toll,
for conversations with his soul.
One way in, and one way out,
it’s true that mountains hide in clouds.

Wonderland

chasing the dream
falling into a scheme

screaming as I fall
nails scratch the wall

going down
down
down

wake in a new place
hands reach and rub my face

people come to greet me
and they all agree

I'm not from this land
so they take my hand

and lead me to the queen
(who is quite mean!)

all dressed in red
from toes to head

then I meet an extraordinary man
who tells me how this world began

next to him are a mouse and hare
who go thru life without a care

that is where I meet the cat
who gives the man back his hat

a smile set upon his face
randomly appearing in a different place

taking me to see a girl in white
who asks me to join the fight

against the dragon who roams
the skies above their homes

I must agree
for is my destiny

dressed in my silver suit
ready to beat the brute

his wing flap against my face
why am I in this place!?

my sword comes down in a crash
he had no time to dash

now he’s dead and I must leave
but the man grabs my sleeve

and dances a little jig
and tells me that the world’s no to big

I give hugs and say goodbye
never shall these memories die

when back at my palace
I spoke my name aloud
“Alice.”

My Guiding Light

As I sit here on this warm, solid shore
beneath a lighthouse I adore.
It stands perfect, beautiful and mint
the roof shingled, a lovely brown tint.
its beacons, a blazing blue hue,
shine light upon all that I knew.

One day a while ago. Past the fog of the bay
my lighthouse shimmered and played
its beacons shown with a stare
at a new land, an island out there.
I had seen hints of it while looking around
though never thinking I’d leave this fertile ground.

As the fog lifted and cleared
my lighthouse showed a path that was close. I steered
through this maze of perils towards the new shores
Glancing at the edge of this place, suddenly I want more.
I want to venture and explore it so
Thank you my lighthouse for your allowing glow.

This new isle of desire,
surrounded by a bright red ring of fire
has two beautiful blue pools, clear and deep
a cave so welcoming, sweet sounds did seep
Its lovely peaks were thoroughly explored.
with light patch of grass along the other shore.

For all its beauty and wonderment, true enjoyment
lies within the relaxing feel of each moment.
Around this isle I can be myself without a worry.
It has welcomed me and listened to my stories.
I listened as the breeze told tales, many that related
The warmth felt upon these shores makes me elated

This isle has been so inviting
every moment around it was exciting.
My delight in it became hard to evade
but the light from my home was beginning to fade.
I left for home for that is my place.
Having difficulty ignoring those feelings, I pace.

The fog rolled back hiding the isle
Knowing it was there made my mind go wild.
Thoughts that, maybe I could journey without my light
Knowing the trip was very treacherous and not right
For days I pondered it. Deciding to wait out the fog instead
Realizing that I was out of my head

For on my shore I have everything I adore
Stability and sanctuary surround my lighthouse and shores
Family and friends within safe distance
Loss of all this if I were to crash in an instant
That is why I have stopped trying to find
the isle of desire that consumed my mind.

Someday if the fog lifts and the lighthouse shines
I’d make the trip and enjoy the time.
The isle of desire that once consumed my mind.
Now is a place that if I happen to find
Will be fun and exciting as I venture its shores
But only when allowed by the lighthouse I adore.

The Wasteland -Part 1-

How can one express the baffling depths of obscurity? How can one behold to open the shafts of the mind? I have never been able to solve the mystery— Of myself. . . I wish at times that my life was no more That I could live as another and finally see things right But I am always stuck in this darkness And I cannot see this mind in light There are beasts. . .demons prowling through the wasteland Searching for any remaining life And if they are ever found— They are doomed and consumed Fear is their downfall and they never fail to smell it Their ashes remain, dancing with the imaginary breeze It is silent here—there are no answers I wish there were answers. . . But maybe there was never a reason No answers. . . Talons extend and clench around my heart They will never seek me out—they left me here It is like they knew…I had no reason—that was the answer I feel the pulse of my dangling life Alone in the dark, whimpering like a child I have scared myself, becoming this dragon-daggered youth No balm in Gilead! No eyes to see All I know will never be free I don’t need anyone! You are a disgrace—scum of the waste! You have everything, you ungrateful little nothing You are a joke. . . So swallow it all up like the pushover you are Stand your lowest and trudge right through No questions. No answers. Just . You. Or just lie back down into the mush of disease It has already infected you to the core Accept who you are, you ugly pestilence! I hate you Who are you to be glorified? Dream snatcher. . .murderer of all things bright Saturated in what you call light I see right through—even as the reflections shatter All of the dead kept you alive—they all matter… But alive you are the worst there is False savior—edited attention whore I never want to see your face again See, that’s why I hide. . . Desperation. . .desperation. . . I sob and cry kneeling in defeat For once I am right. . .I am right

The 'Undred an' Fifth

The 'Undred an' Fifth is the greatest o' Britain,
They charge like the Royal Marines;
They'll shatter the shock, and they'll 'old like a rock,
On nothin' but pork leg an' beans.

They march by the mile, an' they step 'er in style;
At 'ome by the land 'r the sea.
They'll fight like a lion, an' die for the tryin',
For nothin' save crackers an' tea.

Aye! the 'Undred an' Fifth is the best in the land;
They 'ave trampled the gates o' Chardaux.
Brave for the fight, they 'll sail to the sand,
An' they'll march till they meet wi' the foe!

The 'Undred an' Fifth, yes the best o' the best;
They 'ud conquer the ends o' the world.
Not taking a rest, they are game for the test,
Till the Jack o' the Brits is unfurled.

The 'Undred an' Fifth is the greatest forever;
They'll cross any line in the sand.
When others 'ave failed, an' the reg'lars 'ave bailed,
Then the Fifth o' the 'Undreds 'll stand!

They stand in a rank, an' they march in a file,
They 'ark to an ol' rusty sot:
They serve for the Queen, as they camp o'er the mile;
They're the greatest that Britain 'as got!

Song Of The Seamen And Their Ship Called Mary Rose

Mary Rose, the mighty sailing sea vessel glided majestically across the waves
She had robustly and bravely sailed the briny waves for many a night and day
With the ocean's heaving gusting squalls blowing off proud stern and mast
Sailing victorious and proud - her billowing white sails were cast
The calm, liquid waters of the sea flowed quietly purple for now-
Unaware of the coming storm that would beat furious against her bow

Her alabaster sails whipped violent and furious in the oncoming storm
Impending doom was yelling its cries while the seamen went unwarned
Down below, inside their cabins the seamen peacefully slept
Wrapped in the secure watch that their gallant captain kept
The oceans black, boiling waves beat savage against starboard and port
As Captain Noe standing fearless - at first quake, did not the storm report

The old wooden beams of the Mary Rose began to restlessly moan and creak
While the blackened roaring, rolling waves beat furious against her feet
Her alabaster sails rose proud- beating mighty against wailing squalls and gusts
While deep inside the bow in bunks, the sleeping seamen thrust

Suddenly...they heard the captain's distraught voice cry out
When the seamen heard his voice -they heard fear without doubt
“Awake, all of ye’ ”, Captain Noe forcefully roared
“Alive! Awake… all ye’ seaman come quickly up on board”!

The savage spirit of the sea reigned fierce with rage and fear
While the brave captain fought - loyal seaman brought up the rear
They courageously fought together - not silenced by the eye of death
As the sea raged violently against them with its brutal, menacing breath

To save their mighty Mary Rose, they’d dip their very souls in blood
Leaving themselves merciless against this drunken, mighty flood
With plank and bow standing fierce between them and their fate
The raging ocean’s fierce, blackened waves - the sea they could not hate

The morning brought the warming sun which rose broad above the waves
The winds had tamed their violent voice against captain and seaman brave
With unshakable courage and seaman’s wit not once were spirits broke
Each cheered his mate and captain strong as they fought with steady stroke
Their peril fought in days of danger and night filled with pain
Their manly courage did not wane - their fight was not in vain
For all the courageous seamen and their brave Captain Noe
Joined together in hand and spirit to save...their proud Mary Rose

Embark

I try to reach profundity
but all around make fun of me
for living life with simpler goals
like learning and tranquility.

So now I'm leaving all I've got
to quest for my own Camelot.
Requiring only books and pen
I'm setting off to find my spot.

Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

Forgotten You

Forgotten you
As your mind collects the memories of yesterday
Forgotten You
Epiphanies tie into knotty strings of realization
That very moment. . .
You merely exist

Back then. . .those smiles
Those. . .distant laughs
Some you remember by name
Gone now maybe
Like the exhalation of the wind
Others dispersed in the world of arbitrary happening
Like leaves from falling, man-made trees
There is no doubt that they have
Forgotten you

Activate the bomb
Ignite the fuse
And you’re on next year’s history book
Never forgotten
But drained of all remaining good

That smile you gave
That happiness
The warm embrace so long ago
Salt-coated with piles of rubbish
Over last remaining mental spurts of comfort
Evil, evil, evil, evil, EVIL. . .
Always absorbed and remembered
. . .though never forgiven. . .

All good and gracious sentiments
Packed up in a box set nonchalantly in Downstair’s storage
. . .that chair with the broken leg in the corner of the room
That mangled cobweb holding a dangling, lifeless spider
A drowned sailor’s hat drifting through the current of the ocean
The single tear from a soldier’s vigilant, memory-stricken eye
The frustrating thoughts of a mute
The unchanged. . .HATED deformations

Forgotten you. . .
One soul brings to light weary, unthought-of happenings
Wedged deep into what she can only imagine
With not even a hint of understanding
. . .of the pain. . . .of the bewildering distortions
Of the ugly. . .
One soul merely vomits sickly verse after verse

As humanity embraces its downfall
The poet hangs onto her unjustifiable, forgotten. . .

Beautiful day

Oh how beautiful the day you gave to me

A new and bright glorious day your mercy is new and your love is fresh

Lord I desire your ways and your rest to see your hand touch my life

Is great and peaceful and keeps me right

I stand and look inside my soul

The way you make things unfold

The little things Lord they make me new

The touch of the wind gives me life from you.

The flowers and there fragrance are lifting me up

I love you Lord your precious to me even though I fail and wander you take me in and make me humble

Your ways are glorious why can't the world see the light you give inside me take my hand Lord help me be

The woman you made when you set me free.

I Believe In You

I believe in You…
I really want to believe this is true
Oh god, you made my day
And you made me jump with joy today

*chorus* Someone is calling my name
Somewhere out there…somewhere out there…
Could it be you?
Is this a dream come true?
Someone is calling my name
Somewhere out there…somewhere out there…
Could it be You?
Is this a dream come true?
I can feel you lingering around me, whispering in my ear:
“Have no fear, have no fear…
There is hope if you put your trust in Me!”
Those words make me speechless
I carry on with confidence, knowing all of this is true
Yes, I smile…and God healed me from the flu
Thank God I’m not alone,
But I’m stronger than I realize
Your spirit that guides me – I truly prize!

How kind of you…
To expose your miracles out of the blue
Oh Lord, you make me smile
Not for a while, not for a while
But, forever…and you made me think of love on a different level
You are so different, the opposite of the Devil

*chorus*

I believe in You…
I really want to have a brand new
Start…don’t depart, don’t depart from my gaze
I want to express my glorious praise
So, listen…
I see Your eyes glisten
With love and serenity…peace and liberality…

*chorus*

Oh god, you made my day
And you made me dance with hope and I pray
That I look up to You and say
How much I need you in my life
I want Your word to submit to me like a wife
Your spirit is what I yearn to have…
And this remorse cuts me with a knife
Could you take me away from this vicious strife?

*chorus*

How awesome of you…
To expose Your promises out of the blue
Oh Lord, you make me depend on You
Not temporarily, but I want your spirits to renew
This faith in my heart…deep down inside
This anticipation in my mind…to stretch out wide
Like a rubber band…however, it’ll never lose grip

*chorus*
Some kind of King or Shepherd is calling my name with gentility
My mind is frolicking jubilantly, not paying attention

I think my Shepherd is calling my name
Somewhere out there…somewhere out there…
Could it be my loving and forgiving God?
Could it be Your voice, calling from afar?
Cleanse my heart, for sin clings on to it like tar….
You are like a car,
Driving me to the road of paradise…
You are the most majestic star!
In the ebony sky…I hope you’re not too far…

Constantly, You make me think of endurance and devotion on a different level
I believe in You
 I’ll remain faithful to You…
I look up to You
I’ll refrain from feelin’ blue
You are so beyond brilliant…I’ll never put up Your spirit on sell!

Billy Law

            Billy Law

A simple man rode into harvest town
Tall, with sharp features, and a gun
No words were spoken when he walked by
Locale folk feared him and his kind
People here were evil
You could see it in their eyes
They despised the stranger
He had a badge, walked with a swagger
Chance and thirst brought him to the saloon
He placed a dollar down for a bottle of booze
No one moved
When he was done he turned and drew his gun
Two punks tried to shoot him in the back
They lacked the proper aptitude
And their attitude was warped
So they bled out quickly on the floor
The law man moseyed out the door and said
I’m Billy Law
And never looked back
