Picture Perfect

(Gentle Summer Rain)

Listen to:
light pouring silver gray
enriched thoughts fall from the sky
complete path towards-
Blissful, Delighting Peace
small ceremonial rain dance.
------------

Gentle therapeutic rain
on a warm summer day.
falls of heaven on my skin
lovely healing memory
smiling tears
embracing promise land
means of escaping
utopia in a cloud
Solace-
light mist paints the Earth

"Drizzling summer rays"
Swimming in sunshine, rain.

Silver Strands

Slate gray streets made even darker by cutting raindrops
Umbrellas popping up everywhere, people seeking shelter

But I stayed put, wanting to get drained with the rain,
then I hear this tinkling voice that says, “Don’t you just love it when it rains?!”

I look at her wearily and her eyes actually gleam with laughter
Oh geez, this lady was my total opposite. I was brooding, she was brimming.
I power-up my go away vibes, but she was like a darned magnet…
Was I the ferromagnetic one, or was she?

She gushed on the metaphor of rain in her life, and I didn’t feel like drowning.
Listening to her amidst the onslaught was so refreshing, making me thirstier…

There we were, two drenched souls, sitting on the pavement, chatting up a storm.
Of all her descriptions of rain, one in particular stood out for me…

Pearl drops strung on silver strands …

She said, “Rain for me would be silver strands streaking an otherwise somber sky…
pearl drops strung on silver strands, broken by the heavens to share with us.
See how precious it is?” Then she continued on with the metaphor for pearls…

Her words felt like windshield wipers to me, and I could see clearly now
By then, the rains had softened, and a lone pearl drop landed on her eyelashes
-that made me look closer at her eyes… her beautiful, wise, yet cloudy eyes…

I have never looked at rain the same way since then.

Bring on the Rain

There are places that I've been
that you may never see
As the steady winds are blowing
this storm brews inside of me
But the strong hand that guides me
will surely see me through
As I walk within this darkness
There is nothing left to do

I see the storm clouds gather
as the thunder starts to roll
Lightening flashes all around
as the droplets flood my soul
But when the rain has ended
the sun will shine once more
and I will then be stronger
than I ever was before

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

As everything around me rages
onto my knees I fall
I cry out in desperation
"God help me through it all"
Then this fury deep inside me
slowly starts to drift away
Though a steady rain is falling
I know I'll be okay

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

Rain

Raging rain falls down the street
Creating holes in the land a bit
Rainy, stormy, and windy days
Bring us turmoil, horror and screams.

How I wish to stop the rain from falling
In the days and nights while meditating
People overlooked the reality about rain
That it comes from the earth and naturally falls again.

The rain will drift
As our minds learn to accept
The idea that we create
Everything we partake.

Yesterday's Rain~

Today I wondered about the rain.... ....I wanted it to rain again The beauty of a chopped up sea Cobalt turquoise harmony Warm winds blow indigo Cirrus Thunder crashes intensely furious Golden skies mixed crimson setting West I admire rain-clouds shedding I miss that smell of rain and sea With loud cracks of lightening~ Gems rolling against the sand Treasures kept ....cupped in a hand Walking along a wondrous fate Losing my spirit ....I learned to hate Focusd on a thought or a specific date I felt sad inside...to have lost my mate Finding myself in a storm cloud made An impermeable will and internal shade I've finally met the marvelous Sea Stepping along the beach with me.... Had I stayed in my own little storm Completely compelled to die or conform I would not have come to realize... yesterdays rain... ...cannot touch today's skies

Smile

Hot
Tears
Stream
Down.
Lava rain on a window pane.

Pain and struggle deteriorate the mind,
clock with out a tick,
Just a waste of time.

The Devil shows in spurts
killing our inner minds,
but God lurks and
In him you will find

Your sanctuary,
little bit of heaven.

May be hidden, like
sherlock you MUST detect it,
find it.

The Holy Trinity.

Protect hearts from
The ideologies of society.
Let your mind be free.
Break titanium chains of obscurity.

Let your eyes be wise,
Visual intellectuals.
Let hearts love freely.

White Doves defying gravity with
Glistening ruby rose petals.

The great ones struggled.
Adversity rampant.
Overcame the strain.
For that,
They are heroic.

Sear ambitions in your mind,
A picture you framed it.
View it everyday
Erase pain you came with.

Angels transformed by the New Testament.

The next day comes,
Birds croon a harmonious song
As they bask in the Sun.

Angels transformed by the new testament.

Our lost ones are adding glow to the Sun.
Through fire rain and
Smoky clouds,

God's Son's rays always shine through.

Let loved ones gain
Immortality through contagious smiles
Reflecting the Light.
As we create
Our own spotlights.

Have You Ever?

Have you ever smelled the rain as a storm was getting near

then sat and watched as clouds began to appear

Have you ever heard the sounds of Gods thunderous roar

and looked to see his light along the shore

Have you ever listened to the rain when it starts pouring down feeling the flow of it
before it touches ground

Have you ever caught a breeze upon your face and somehow you new it was Our
Father's Embrace

Have you ever seen God's splendor after a storm was done when his heavens
open up and he shows his brilliant sun

Have you ever taken notice as the clouds start to divide and you see the rays of
sunshine peak over the sky

Have you ever seen his colors of grays, gold, purple and pink and wonder to
yourself how excellent God thinks

Have you ever looked at his miraculous sky when it shines so big and bright with
silhouettes of shadows beaming through the light

Have you ever seen a rainbow far above so high it goes from one end to the other
along his great big sky

Have you ever wondered how his sunlight rolls away and how his darkness
appears without dismay

Have you ever seen his display of wonders when you look into the night

and appreciated his stars above along with his moonlight

Have you ever imagined why God gave us these effects

I think it is to remind us that he deserves all respect

The Rain Effect

The rain outside my door
Its talk, a calming effect
Upon my restless spirit, implores
the need to reflect.

The rain, drenching the moors
Its pounding upon rocky crests
Like the clapping of hands, soars
Upon the senses, dissolving stress.

The rain inviting me outdoors
Its plead to leave the comfort of concepts
Exchanging the warmth of safe indoors
For the dramatic cold of clarity, intercepts.

The rain, cleansing a downpour
Its relentlessness stripping the walls erected
Around the damaged heart, explores
Upon new possibilities, wider directed.

The rain, beckoning a force
Its puddles upon my feet impress
With childlike laughter, a dance extorts
Revving the spirit, the genuine soul expressed.

I NO LONGER FEAR THE RAIN

Today if it rains,
and the skies get dark
I won't allow my spirit
succumb to it , instead I
will grab my favorite
sweater go out and walk in it.

Rejoicing with every single
droplet of rain that falls
bringing me closer to the light;
I know, I've found traces of it
In my beloved eyes.
For That treasure more precious than
Gold that many seek and may
Never find is already mine .

Miracles Rain From Heaven

It came into existence from the breath of God
Just look at animals, people, trees, and look at a bird
The blind will begin to see
People in bondage of sin is now free
The famine will be fed with loaves of bread and fish
A hospice child is granted and receives a wish
People with cerebral palsy will walk
A Chinese man with a speech impediment will suddenly talk
A New York fireman is in a burning building walks out untouched
On a movie set a stunt woman does an amazing and impossible stunt
A very racist white man get saved in a all black church
An illiterate and homeless man gets saved and a hour later get hired to work
A man rushed to hospital in trauma flat lines awake and yells for wife
A young mother addicted to drugs become clean and gives Jesus her life
Everyone these people can be a witness and be a disciple
That heaven rains miracles

John 1:16, 17 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after
another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Folk Song of India Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees

A Folk Song of India My Video Song is also on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukRQxnYGQwQ&feature=plcp Background Note: Its a story of a worried Farmer as his fields were dry because of no rains & the season of planting Rice was passing fast. His eyes were full of tears while thinking, what he would eat & earn if he fails to plant the Rice saplings without good Rains in his fields. The song conveys feelings of an Indian farmer, who often face such situations due to lack of rains. Rains felt pity & flooded his fields or his love for Trees & Nature. Folk Song of India- Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How, he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). The clouds keep coming, But fly away and vanish soon, There are hardly few trees in the forest, Who can call and attract the clouds. To tell the clouds, The miseries of the farmer, As, clouds never overlook, The wishes of their beloved trees. But the trees could not convey and tell, The tortures and pains, they have suffered, One by one they have been cut and burned, By none other than their own nursing Man. Because of this only , The clouds often do not come, And run away without showering, When they see such humans. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How without rains he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). But that old farmer, Had planted many many trees, Thinking that the clouds, Came down on the ground. The eyes of the old farmer, Were wet and restless, Tears were appearing and were, Coming out, every now and then. The clouds hovering on the fields, Saw tears in his eyes, While wiping his tears, The clouds too began to weep. Then, it began to rain all over, And the fields got flooded soon, The old farmer raised his head, And saw towards the sky. After seeing all around, The fields flooded with water, The farmer with gratitude, Again & again touched the Rain clouds. Tears started flowing from his eyes, With happiness, And the clouds again showered more rains, To wipe the tears from the eyes of the old farmer. Then the time came to plant, The saplings of Dhaan (Rice), Without forests and their darling trees, Clouds hardly showers their love drops. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near the fields, He would again plant, Many more and more tree this time. After the rain

After the rain

Velvet green with mauve and yellow
Touches blue sky overhead
I walk along this wetland trail
With fairy feathers in my tread
Green parrots in their crazy flight
Rise and fall above the trees
Who’s branches dance in splendid rhythm
As they ride upon the breeze

The ground still moist from yesterday
When the rain came falling down
It feels all kind of downy soft
And looks so very damp and brown
As sweet brown doves search for a feed
And a raven high above
Gives out a call of loneliness
In a voice brim filled with love

The lake it glimmers sheeny, shiny
As the sun upon it beams
It sings a song of sanctity
That fills my heart with lovely dreams
And whispers words of mystery
That seep into my peaceful soul
As I walk in morning silence
Letting nature make me whole.

''The rain poet''

When I raise my eyes
Towards the heavens
And see rain clouds gather
I, ''the rain poet’’
Wait expectantly for the rain
To gently fall
and kiss the ground
Then my dreams can be watered
And my future can acquire
A green look
I, ''the rain poet’’
Hope that as the water trickles
It will dissolve my sorrows
My dissapointments
And carry them all
To the graveyard beneath the ground
And when the rain ceases
I, ''the rain poet’’
Will not cease penning
Rainborn inspirations

God Watered For Me

One light clap
Then boom, boom
Wind, rain, storm

Willow threw her head back and laughed as the wind whipped her hair
Large raindrops then faster, smaller and plentiful
All the earth was singing praises, the song of the ages, all the earth sang praise

Delighted at the wind~ going out under the eves of the house
Breathing in the moist air, enjoying the zephyr blowing
I was singing praises, the song of the ages, I was singing praises

Two months since we had any rain to amount to much
All was dry, the plants and trees were hurting, the garden needed rain
Those irrigating hoses just don't bless the earth like rain

The clouds linger the moist air floats about
Birds of the air are quiet relishing each moment
Thanksgiving today for God watered for me

The Farmer and The Cowboy / Deuteronomy 11:13

The Farmer woke,
Before break of day,
And for a little rain did pray.
Then hitched his team,
And plowed the land,
Given him by the Master’s hand.

The Cowboy awoke,
And a prayer he sighed,
“Please give us rain, for the prairie is dry.”
Then in the heat,
He did rope and brand,
The cattle given him by the Master’s hand.

At night, before sleep,
The Farmer read,
The words from the Bible that God had said,
“If you’ll keep my Commandments,
In it’s season I’ll make it rain,
And you shall eat,
And your land shall fill with grain.”

The Cowboy fell asleep remembering,
A verse his Ma had read,
A promise God made and the words he said,
“Love and serve the Lord God,
And it shall come to pass,
That I shall make it rain,
And for the cattle, there shall be grass.”

So each resolved, in his own way,
To be a better man,
And follow closely the Commandments,
And there-fore save the land.

And though they never met,
They prayed for the same thing,
And watched the sky for the clouds,
And the rain that they would bring.

And though it was long in coming,
The drops fell upon the land,
And revived and refreshed these special places,
Given by the Master’s hand.

The Farmer and the Cowboy,
Each prayed for the land of which they were fond,
And through their belief, they saved the Earth,
Through the Lord’s Common Bond.

Maids of Rain

The buds were colorful like flames;
in blooming field while her advent
down pouring was, and flow in veins.

Unspoken were on distant sky;
(the maids' descent - rainfall god-sent) ,
splendid on fields, pure drops fell spry;
..................

The clouds in solitude advanced
while raindrops formed air-hung new tropes
enduring bold color-enhanced
dew-scintillate the ferns on slopes.

On thrumming feast they jump and smile
the drops upon the road that shines
the orange trees in lines compile
dawn's maidens dance and weave designs.
..................

Maids' ardent symphony of calls
from within rainfall's calm cadence
- they gallivant in heavens' Halls
Ideal forms on pristine dance.

The raindrops I transform to song,
sweet melody fates play - the leaves,
entreaty are that strings along
my blooming solitude they weave.

Elayne will dance

Elayne will dance; she holds a long white rope,
above our heads - in air aloneness spreads,
cold rain pours on damp ground - the circus' dead,
remote's the emptiness - devoid the scope.

Elayne will dance! High on the ropes upheld;
through acrobatics, apt, her act perfects,
she lifts to skies, her bold routine projects
the tears of wind that blows will be withheld.

Inside the air, ropes thrum upon the mast,
we both had lived ten years before this sound
we laughed there hung, in void, above the ground
the rags now wave to gallivant miscast.

Inside the winds she posed; admired Elayne
will dance; the ropes keep thrumming on the mast;
will hang in void; beguiled, unearthly trust,
spectators watch Elayne's hung wraith in strain.

"Address my love when nimbus rain on Earth
I'll dance with you in fields of heather,
because your soul beholds my eyes forever
and stars are embers of a longing hearth."

A skyward streamlet to expend in space,
admired Elayne departs in splendid glow;
rags wave, the thin mistle kisses my brow ,
- she followed the drops paths to upwards trace.

Yellow Frogs

Our note is composed
Before the shroud of summer.
It’s a deep song offering
At the feet of rainy clouds.

Monsoon was a spring of spree.
Fresh rain drops had scattered us
In the paddy fields and ponds,
Where we organized shrill concerts
In bright yellow coats.
Leaping in love and diving in joy,
It was a paradise regained.

Monsoon is now a drought.
Our diving dreams die
With the paddy fields and ponds
Affected with the development.
As men cleave our lives,
All leaping joys end in the frying pan.
We hide in the unwanted holes.
Our tunes are wasted
Against the concrete walls.
Truly, we are now in yellow.

FABIYAS M V
*Monsoon rain comes to Kerala, immediately after summer,in June. Then the air will be noisy with the croak of frogs. When the first rain starts, the fields and ponds will be filled with frogs yellow in color.

carousel in roundel

The carousel round goes to circle feasts
The scent of dusk is solitude's primrose
- beloved her stare with light shall fade in mists
- the carousel round goes.

And the enfolding of the silence slows
forsooth advances her response sole kissed
betimes the corteges of night depose.

Disporting round trajectories persist
their merriment of altered times disclose;
- Two loving forms in raindrops dance amidst,
- the carousel round goes.

My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

Broken Pen

Broken pen

I wanted to write the truth that came from my heart but in the end I wrote the problems that been eating me from the start. Can you image the pen writing solely for this purpose just to be knocked down by my own thoughtless words? Those unwritten words, those shreds from my heart, the pointless promises, and the overbearing confident, how did I manage to corrupt them all?
Hiding from my own pain while I hurt other, is this not the demon I create?
No more a hypocrite then you is lost filled. Stampede, riot, tear down, these are how I describe my own action. My own words burned me, my own words destroyed me, my own words bound me, and my own words create a world filled with my own lies. Funny isn't it? Destroyed by the very thing I created. Be I Frankenstein and my word Frankenstein such a reference defies me to the point of fear. Forgive and forget, walk into the sun and burn, become my bride and let’s walk toward a moon rising wonder. I struggle to find out who I am and who we are but won’t this lead me to my grave? Is it a mission I wish to take and for who sake? Dreaming for an innocent heart but done so imperfectly it too late. Let my unwritten words love me and lose me, damaging me with blue fires, be forgotten from my memories and sleepless night trying to recover. Such a helpless thing as I watch a demon take me away and bring me back from time to time again. Bloody mask full of lies, full of fear, and tears. Where does the words fly to once I forget them, I wrote my own truth and the heart filled problems that had eaten me. What a way to use my broken pen .
