How Fast it Dries

the jaguar's tear
slides off his single whisker
clouds do sigh

three offspring
dragged into the river's teeth
one remains

they both stretch
the moment of sorrow lost
life leaps on

- Haiku X 53 - So Sweet -

A moment in time
This feeling’s so wonderful
Soft, sweet newborn lambs

Sign that spring is here
Small chubby feet on green grass
Please do not eat me

I am a herdsmen today
she’s away, I play
. .
what does the fox say
do-do-Die-da-die I ate
poor poor sheep and kines
. .
where are? Sure no harm
there by stream or in the barn
what does the fox say
. .
I lie-a lie-lie
the milk does gives me away
the funny sound - Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!

                                laying down for nap
                                 stretching out long
                                 sleepy orange kitty
                              snow sprinkles down
                               paw prints all around
                                  kitty runs to hide

                                 longing to get out
                            watching birds and squirrels
                                  oh, no, hot paws

                            coming thru the trees
                                 lights turn on
                               cat eyes shinning

                              look into the sky
                                 wild and free
                          bobcat on mountain top

                            moonlight stars twinkle
                             prowling the night skies
                           morning light cat sleeps

                             morning walking path
                               sun gets in eyes
                             lingering heat cat sighs

stays on fingertips
the softness as though rubbed off
a quiet presence

the expectation
in her simple meowing
and i understand
the dog is open
not so the domestic cat
so still and secret

in that pea green boat
the owl and the pussy cat
at sea with secrets

kitty cat has been
to london to see the queen
what did he there?
