Three Hundred

Three Hundred

The wraiths were ringing dead wrought bells
while closely passed the shady shapes
of woods in dusk, where red indwells
communion made from ghostly grapes.

He ran amidst the winds and passed
across the side where grapevines grew,
it was her presence that amassed
small leaves and droplets of fog's dew.

Inside the winds' lone strings accord,
his Bell full-face, was dropped along
the streamlets and horizon's board,
untamed his scopes, they don't belong.

The Astral Chords! He knew this debt;
the skies demand and kill and draw,
the darkened paths his thought beget,
rose thorny droplets on his brow.

Persephone shall be his wed,
subsiding dew the mist regales,
the stringing roar that reaches red,
his greatest bride resigns his trails.

Shall be the threading of winds' howls,
her plea arises from the shades,
homecoming queen from astral halls,
he harks the northern swashing blades.

Ablution's her enjoining black
"Enfold me in the rising dawn
enfold your sadness in the dark
with magistral the curtains drawn".

Acute of wounds she heals and mends
the asphalt of the mists awaits
pristine her bridal thorns amends
while passing through the Hades gates.

Three hundred reasons drew the drapes,
three hundred strings of diligence;
The winds regaled the bride's agape,
his celebration to commence.

Speak of thee

                                        He is above us in the clouds
                                run through the fields and speak of thee
                                              He will grow roses

                                       I will be the stem of the roses
                                       for I shall never leave your soil

                                     You will be the tree I grow beneath
                                             and he will be our rain.

There is a place

There is a place you can go that is full of only love and Warmth .
you will be surrounded by a light that shines from the Heavens ,
Sprinkles of Silver and Gold.

This place is filled with brilliant colors of Purple , vibrant Gold, all colors.
not one Color is less significant then another ,
for every color is equal here .

This place is surrounded by the beauty of different Flowers.
All flowers have significance here . No one Flower is better then another .
All Flowers are equal here .

It is important you know , you can cry here , and should cry as often as needed .
For the tears will cleanse your Soul and give the Flowers water to grow.
No one Tear is insignificant here , every tear has value and not one is better then another .

 money holds no value , Where you live , what you own, has no significance here .

You will be surrounded by a beautiful light that shines from the Heavens .
A shining warm light will encircle you and allow nothing to hurt you .
Hate will be shed at the door light a old jacket of no use.

There is a place of beauty and Worth.
This place will not be found on Earth .
It is a place where no one person is better then another .

How a Blue Rose Came to be

Once upon a time, many years ago,
There was a sweet and lovely - red, red Irish rose,
That was plucked prematurely, from the garden vine;
A budding beauty, taken in her prime.

She was laid to rest, upon the death, of a lovers dream;
Upon a chest of ebony, where lie, his would-be  Queen;
Lowered deep into the depths, of the church yard cemetery;
Her scarlet petals, wilting in the summer breeze.

Then the earth begin to fall, like autumn leaves;
Upon her petals, and the chest of ebony,
From above her tomb, where stood the grieving groom
Weeping , weeping, like a willow tree.

Then the sky begin to disappear, amid that mournful cry,
As tears - from above, fell from that lovers eyes,
And came to rest, like dew drops on that Irish rose,
As she disappeared beneath the earth, there in his grief below

                            	 ~~~~~
In time, he laid a stone of ivory - upon her grave;
Etched deeply  - with the promise he had made:
To love his Irish Rose - forever and a day.
                                  ~~~~~

The years and all their seasons came and went
And a million lonely tears were cried and spent
Upon her grave where everyday he kneeled and prayed
And dreamed of her until his dying day.

		~~~~
The epigram has long since faded on the ivory stone
That still stands alone   upon her grave
Where from the million tears of love he gave
A seemingly impossible - blue, blue rose has grown.
The Visit
In greyness the weather swung and basked,
A fog of old, rude and dead,
Are you alone, was it this she asked?
Only in company he said.
She would have come -to greet, meet, talk sweet
Cotton words well uttered to squeek all thought
But torns in his voice, they paved the street,
With little green memories of what she once sought.
What a festival of souls deeply tailored to life,
Once there were songs of this kind of strife.
Days flitter away, never sitting, never sitting
Lashes make haste save pictures from slipping.
Yet footsteps were made, tap tap, tap tap!
A few minutes late though not too late to stop.
The rain spotted her jacket, colors green now black
Come in and sit down, now it's too late to go back.
I flew, I jumped, I said hurry, please hurry!
You have come on time to prevent my journey.
I know, well sure, very sure I don't bother,
I was on a travel to Mars, what an honor, real honor!
Tea I like tea, and I'll even have some wine!
From far above they have sent me a sign
I never wondered what could lay in great space,
To save him from her with fast and steady a pace.
Goodbye, he said, rising to the skies,
I love how thoughtful you are
Once my mind flies high, my body dies
Are you gone- somewhere far?
Romeo and Juliet
When last they kissed, and summer’s lease
fell brief and sweet, and winter's chill would steal the heart away...
Sweet coral days, turned blight to rust,
and Shakespeare's words,
will wring despair from what will never be.
Behold, your eyes that weep,
and empty arms will flail, for
young lovers swept away on wings so frail...
No other love could ever grieve so well.
Shall hence, will come a cry, to shatter starry skies
with tragedy to tell
O’ she of flaxen hair, fair cheeks so pale,
His love was as a fever, longing still.
His sorrow greater than the darkest night
Too cruel to bear, delusion played unfair
Despair, beyond all words could shout
Disquiet of the heart cries out
To death, that calls, from 'yond the distant stars.
Sweet love so rare, a thing beyond compare.
Where whence their love, once like the lilac full
The blossom fragrant,  so sweet as whippoorwill
Ere' slumber's chain has bound them now.
Thy song has waned, the garland dead
upon the blade, upon the sword, asleep
The swollen heart with anguish weeps…forever is a love to keep.
I Feel Like Dancing
Drink me ill this pleasure still,
And cure me with your poisoned pills-
Before I lose all my strength,
But, oh! I lost that long ago!
Dreamily dancing to and fro...
With legs of lead and no feet to stand,
And a phantom partner to hold my hand
A languid trance and lulled Romance
To seize me whole in its expanse
Never I yield, though quite out of breath-
Drunkenly dancing in the Depths Of Death
Nevermore
With the weather cold and dry
My mind wanders far and wide
Within the future things in store
Negative thoughts, nevermore
Of course the mind can think of horrible thoughts
The pain that left the memory, not forgot
Until one day, it returns to life
To fear it with your heart, nevermore
This stone inside is your sanctuary
Not to be broken or to make one wary
Demons from the past surround your love
Let these Legion win, nevermore
Alas, true lovers can fight them off
Not lie, bicker, hate or scoff
Predict the weather tomorrow pleasant
Allow the rain to come, nevermore
You cannot allow this darkness to thrive
To swarm your soul like a hornets’ hive
Beware of those who intend to kill
Let them take your heart, nevermore
Titles are a trivial thing
Would phones or your heart start to ring?
When your darling returns home in your arms
Let the outside in, nevermore
For you and our love are all that matter
My heart and soul come together in patter
For my weakness is your voice
Allow us to be apart, nevermore
SLEEPING WITH THE DEVIL'S WIFE
   SLEEPING WITH THE DEVIL'S WIFE
Some night you'll wake before morning
Sweatin to the oldies she will sing.
She'll make you think you're in Heaven...
Long enough to tell you ANYTHING...
And you'll believe her.
Some night you'll wake up hearing voices
Sweatin to the oldies of here life.
She'll never say you're in Heaven.
Or tell you you've been sleeping with the Devil's Wife.
She'll never tell you, you've been sleeping with the Devil's wife.
But you will KNOW.
You will know.
That's when you'll need her.
That's when you'll love her the most.
That's when you will die.
Sleeping with the Devil's wife.
That's when you will die.
Dark Shadows
The night approaches me again and you're not here still with me
And here under my breath I call your name and I'm watching your loving face
And there among the dark shadows of the night you come back to me always the same
I hear your haunting tune and just know that this time you'll be waitin' for me.
Release me from all this pain I'm sufferin' Come to me, and just take my hand
Hold me in your arms ever so tight and please never ever again let me go
Together we'll dream of that other time and fly away to that other magical time band
There is no other place like that upon heaven or earth where our love can only but glow.
Join me here tonight,hear my voice into the night and just be mine for all time
Come to me right now and give me all your love before the night is taken away
Let me kiss your lips,caress you and love you all night til we both see a brand-new day
Disperse all the dark shadows in which I exist,come to me and you'll be mine for all eternity.
Author Notes:
This poem amongt many others that I'd written in my life,had been inspired by
my very favorite and most beloved vampire character of all time,
"Barnabas Collins" from the most popular daytime soap opera series ever
produced on T.V. in my opinion, "Dark Shadows." This whole DVD collection is most
wonderful!
And Jonathan Frid is so awesome!
