Footnote: I am a sixty-two year old woman who still loves writing poetry, whether I can or not…
In the dark ages,
The world lay bare
With no care
In the inhabitants lives.
As time flies
So knowledge grows
To height till it springs
Then a blessing and a
Curse was conceived
Which bcame compatible
With the society,
A new society.
The new birth brought
Means of destruction
And the creation
Of medium of easier
Movements like flying
In the air,moving
From one planet
To another planet
With measures costlier.
An instrument of death
And life like two-edged
Sword,out of its sheath.
Your bearers are judged
As scientists with
The savior of mankind?

I send my words ,right through the wind
Hoping and Trusting
they shall fall right into your brain.
one day, like a rain, you came to me.
One day, like a wind, i went away,
and there were times i came to you
for you to speak of something, deep in your heart,
ahd how you made my heart a feather in wind.
How suddenly we parted, leaving each other unwared, untold
how we search of each other, everywhere
in this wild thicket of light
yet i know not where your sun shines
How i miss to see you again
upon a rock ,i lay my heart
to wait for that magical day
when my eyes will fall on you again
That will be the Day!
and never again will i send
my words in the wind for thee
and, like a farmer scans the skies with anxious eyes
i too wait for thee...........
A wish to break free from all the tensions and stress,
Pressure to perform or because of low marks distress,
Bombarding on the brain by parents and all teachers,
The soul of a science student is really much harassed.
A wish to break free from this monotonous schedule round the clock,
From college to tuitions and from tuitions back,
No time for self study, no time to get a grip,
The hectic schedule has all the capacity from the brain hacked.
A wish to break free from the rat race around,
The peer pressure and strain that continuously surround,
The fatal competition that burdens the soul,
Each moment living in fear of losing the ground.
A wish to break free from the inhumane touch,
Of those lecturers who don’t care as much,
As the ones who care but can’t be there,
To show support and encourage and all such.
A wish to break free from the wrongs happening in the world,
The laws and the rules working against certain student lot,
Adding to the already existing pressure on these tender minds,
Making the heads fuming and hot.
A wish to break free from the deep rooted ill logic,
Present in a subject that scatters all its magic,
The memorizing and roting that is so much required,
That makes the studying all the more tragic.
A wish to break free is the soul’s earnest cry,
A wish to break the barriers, to soar and to fly,
A wish to be science-minded individuals by choice, not by force,
And to be found some years hence, where our hearts lie…
Time will tell
into the night
a lonely birthday....
I come to you so humbly
But I have something to show we
What can a sweeper so they
Clean our streets that’s the way
Can’t you see this wonderful delight
This strange device that gives of light
They thought, we are annoyed
Hear our plea it must be destroyed
All bombs cause destruction exemplifying
fanatic ghastly heartless infamous
jar, kindling loathe, machination nefarious
operations pitilessly quashing
rabid sanguineous tyranny, uncivilized violence,
warlike xenophobia, yielding zilch!
You are the perfect example of what a man should be
Internally coded with intense sexuality
I don’t think for a minute you want to be just friends
Your subtle gestures are just a mends for your situation
There is a reason you anchor to this crustacean
You listen as if I'm teaching you the bible
And you need my lessons for survival
You perform as if you are my weight hand and foot
You bring me juices whose nectar makes my heart beat like Chinese percussion
I know you probably be thinking, “Im’ma get me some!”
But not because you want to cum into me
Not because you’re not happy at home with wifey
But just because you are anchored by me metaphysically
And besides my poetry you don’t really know ME
