Not Too Late

                                            Wednesday afternoon
                                            Blue fruits from the trial
                                          Smacks and hacks for sure
                                          Learning do from failure
Learn from yesterday, live today, hope for tomorrow

No turning back

A Mothers Meditation

I taught her better.
I didn’t want this for her
She’s followed my tracks
Look at her, life is ruined
She knows not what she’s done

	The Daughters Disposition

	Wow, what did I do?
I can’t bear the pain she flaunts
	Her disappointment…
Stings… like a swift kick inside
What on earth was I thinking?

A Teen Dad’s Train of Thought

Did I? I didn’t!
It wouldn’t have felt as good…
She took the pill right?
What if, she was with other guys?
What do I tell my parents?

"Studies and surveys of young teen males show they are worried the pleasure
experienced during intercourse will diminish with the use of a condom."

GOING BACK IN TIME

One last dream is left...
something I've pursued for long:
to go back in time
and see myself a young man,
to get rid of this madness!

About time

About time you show up

About time you help out

About time you comfort me

About time you decide to step up

About time you realized

About time i that i left

About time you felt lost

Because with out me

Your not everything you say

I was your world, and you weren't mine

So listen now and hear out loud

I miss you, but i never knew you

This me telling you

Now its time

To go on your own

While i go on my own.......

- samip mehta

for those you cant say good bye...

Slang

Created by kids
special words, hidden phrases
communication
 the meaning across so quick
adults blinded by culture

VIEW OF FLUSHING MEADOW PARK

A huge hemisphere,
a lake two and half miles long,
many shady trees,
cars on Grand Central Parkway...
happy kids on swings and slides.

It's very quite here,
people walking and chatting
in the greenest park,
they're safe even after dark...
it's the perfect haven!

Nighttime seems daytime
when lights shine on all faces
watching a play, or
listening to pop or rock...
what a view from my window!

never healing wounds

Could it be heart brake
Which gags this young girls soul
Never casing pain
Shoved in her face everyday
That aids this wound which must stay

The Artist

A gifted artist,
Now leaves behind all his toys;
Though fragile he is,
His ambition makes him strong;
Yet, remain humble to all…

(Pour Kevin, l’artiste de Juan-les-Pins, France)

Joshua

This beautiful boy
is, on his tiptoes, a man.
An innocent man
with silver, wrapped gifts of words
hailing the wind, to listen...

Kiss

The first kiss is best

only time will improve it

love is key for it

we all have a different touch

the first is the most special
