Inner Struggle

Inner Struggle

is it the stars
on a cloak of midnight blue
or the moon beams
dancing through the canopy
that eases reality’s view?

the reflection
in the window pane
begs answer
for it’s tears, not rain,
that stream on the glass

silent cascades
bare the resistance
of approval
prayerfully awaiting
the dawning acceptance

From Above The Lost City

Before morning sun

      illuminates its beauty -
               gaze down; listen to
                        a long lost people whisper

                               through mists of Machu Picchu

copy and paste this link: to see a very interesting explanation
of why the Incan city was built and learn the supposed untruth about
its discovery:

oh dear, me-oh-my
valentine’s day, all the rage
the headlines – front page
two weeks away, but big news
and here i sit – lost my muse

oh what can i do?
i must invent clever words
sweetest ever heard
searching, everything to lose
and here i sit – lost my muse

this desperate thought
world’s biggest box of candy
a handy dandy
as last resort let’s try it
but no! she’s on a diet

i must give up
cannot even make a start
save her broken heart
just three words will have to do
i’ll kiss and whisper, i love you

To be a Leader

Reminiscent days
I remember being lost
My eyes were glued shut
Lead by Jesus pure promise
Now I see; to lead; first follow

dedicated to to future leaders of america.....

Lost/ Verschollen/ Desaparecido (Sentanka)

A drought ridden land
And miles and miles yet to go
Into uncertainty

A dream lost in desert sands
All tracks of existance wiped out

Ein ausgedörrtes Land
Und noch Meile für Meile zu gehen
Hinein ins Ungewisse

Ein Traum verloren im Wüstensand
Ausgeöscht alle Spuren des Seins

Una tierra secada
Y milla por milla para ir
Hacia lo desconocido

Sueño perdido en la arena del desierto
Todas las trazas de ser borradas

Note: Ludwig Leichhardt (1813-1848) was a German explorer, zoologist, botanist and
geologist. In 1842 he came to Australia to study its mostly unknown nature. He wrote a
diary on his first expedition (1844/45), titled "Journal of an Overland Expedition in
Australia 1844-1845. This ebook is available from the Australian Explorers Journals page.
His second expedition in 1848 failed and he started again on a third expedition in 1848 to
find a cross-country route from the cattle station McPherson (Queensland) to Perth
(Western Australia). He and other expedition members were lost in the desert. Two rescue
expeditions in 1858 ans 1869 ended unsuccessful. Only in 2006 a small copper plate was
found by an Aboriginal with Leichhardt's name engraved fixed to remains of a half burnt
rifle which hung in a Baobab tree near the Simpson Desert. The tree was merked with the
letter "L"

To have loved and lost

To have loved and lost
are a heaven and a hell;
and the place between
is its own purgatory,
a limbo of sorting out.

Some Here Unloved

What I want taken
fate dealt to me a taste of
then took it away
like a child from its mother,
this anguish pitted so deep.

Misplaced items

Oh, those darned things are
Never there when I need them!
Always somewhere else.
Usually left idle
In that moment I forget.

The Military

A soldier lost his rifle
A general lost a war
Soldier shot
Cowardice they said
The General was promoted
Got an extra star.

Warlock's Ploy

Warlock stands atop Entire world, splashing hatred Into each person That ever hopes in getting Ahead in this world of death Where the plush is gone Hope is ever elusive And the spider weaves His daring web of deceit Luring the lost inside it Warlock laughs at us Thinking us to be lost souls Without the darkness That he so envelopes in His dark soul, eaten distraught Now the warlock preys He looks towards the missing The lost ones inside And he converts them into The deepest darkest minions Servants of his craft Do his bidding whenever He desires them to He tries to get as many People under his hate spell He will try to spin The web of disillusion So people may think He is something that he’s not To one day rule this planet
