Goodbye, My Child

Where cradled canyons sing
Of ebony wood in the forest
There lies a gurgling spring
Where cockcrows sing their chorus
To the melody of singsong birds
There I’ve concealed my sensuous words
Filled with befitted signs
The saccharine whiff of my designs

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Where the fogs of night are fountains
Spills of glistened moon ignite
By distant silhouette mountains
We dance with passion of fight
Entwining ancient stance
Mingling hand in hand we dance
Till the mountains smile on high
Near and far we spring
To pursue the realest of dreams
While the world cries at its seams
Anxious in trouble to cling

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

To where the ridges merry make
From the beaks of wooden bright
In sparkly pools the ghouls awake
That scarce to stir our night
We watch for seekers down under
Muttering secrets in their soul
We bid them lucks of shivers
Dipping gently in
From reeds that hide a tear of a foal
Under the gentle rivers

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Far away she shall ever churn
The taciturn eyed
She’ll listen no more to turn
To the working mills beside
Or the scrubbing of the barn
May peace weave in her song
She shall wave in the yarn
To a haven known as Belong

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

For she comes, the mortal youth
To the wild realm of her truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only her tears be found

Dandelion Dream

-Dandelion Dream-

I stand close with a fistful of flowers
My tiny bouquet made of dandelion dreams
They fade with one gush from the wind
I stand close with a fistful of flowers
Holding on tight to jagged leaves
Sprinkles of sand fall over my needs
I stand close with a fistful of flowers
My tiny bouquet made of dandelion dreams

Memories Of Grandma

I am reminded of... the days I would watch her work
in her flower garden for hours at a time
I am reminded of... the days she would take me by my
hand and say come along help grandma
I am reminded of... me carrying my little bucket along
to help her water all of her flowers
I am reminded of... The smiles that would cover grandma's
face when new flowers would be blooming
I am reminded of... sitting on the bench with her and watching
the butterflies fluttering amongst the flowers
I am reminded of... The birds singing their happy songs as they
flew around the flower garden
I am reminded of... the wind drifting by us and the fragrance of
the flowers floating all around us
I am reminded of...our walks back from the flower garden and
our talks along the path back to her house
I am reminded of...how much I miss her everytime I smell these
beautiful flowers that still grow in her flower garden

In Loving Memory of my Grandmother

What Is Or Is It

                                            What is ? ----- Is it ?

                                            What is happiness ?
A hot summer day, walk barefoot in cool grass
Picking a large bouquet of summer flowers
and then merge a flower crown
Maybe get a good advice of
flower Daisies : love me, love me not,
                                          love me, love me not.......

                                             What is happiness ?
Listen to the frogs love song
by the small pond in the woods
Enjoy a fantastic and very light spider webs
Who can do better than the spider
See the raindrops on a leaf,
which glistens in the sun shining like jewels
Meadow which is full of yellow dots when
                                     Buttercup is smiling and nodding

                                              What is happiness ?
Hand in hand on charity trail
                                               be giddy with love
A tender and gently kiss of the one you loved
The dream of a family, have children
and experience that new life is born
Living life together for better or worse
and that the device love never ends

Happiness for me is that you are here

The Dragon and the Rose

Outside of civil man’s well tended garden,
A field of briars willfully encroached,
Threatening the peaceful flowers without pardon.
Oh these gardeners fought hard as the briars approached.

“You don’t belong here, you’re not good enough!”
“You are snarled with iniquity and with thorns.”
“You live a life so very harsh and rough…”
“What good can you bring?” they said with deep seated scorn.

And the briar replied that hot summer day,
“Deep within these unforgiving boughs
Lives a flower who doesn’t have much to say
Except a story concerning what you espouse.”

“You see there lives a dragon scorned just over the way,
Who tossed opportunity and harbingers to the wind,
Because life is glorious and he loves to play…
Carefree and cavalier is how his days were spent.”

“He playfully trampled gardens carefully tended,
By pious gardeners without wings who would never fly,
Until he happened upon a flower wonderfully scented,
Crimson in color, the flower reflected beauty in his eye,”

“Eagerly he reached forward to make it his own,
But this glorious flower was protected by thorns,
And gave the dragon a prick to change his tone,
And it was in that prick that true love was born.”

“Now the dragon is older and has spent his days,
Watching over this rose, the love of his life,
Learning about beauty and awe inspiring ways.
His world now protected by thorn and briar.”

“He has discovered great beauty and learned much,
And no longer does the dragon destroy with fire.”
“But should you gardeners even dare to touch
A single branch or bough in this tangled briar…”

“You will face both the Dragon and the Rose,
Who with great love now protect each other,
From pious gardeners who would have them go,
Because neither can be kept on a tether.”

“So snip your lilies and pluck your weeds,
Make your lives as perfect as they can be,
For in this harsh briar we continue to watch love grow,
That of a magnificent Dragon and the beautiful Rose.”

Incessant Motion

.
                             This is just for you
                             little hummingbird….

                        How inspirational you are!!

You flit about in eager ways
From flower to flower you dance
                      always intent on your mission

                      Pretty crimson and deep blue
                       and shimmered green hues
                      on your lightning speed wings

                         Just watching your drive
                           makes me grin at you
How you are always so busy
                          Your vigor and energy

                                   Yes….you…
                            irrepressible you are
                             A bit mischievous….

                        Dashing through the wind

                                   F
                                       R
                                          E
                                             E

I love to watch your little loops
and your sudden stops in mid air
                        How you love to hover…..

Bright, you are….a light to me
On sad days when sorrow comes
                         you dash to my rescue
                              with super speed

                               How I love you
                            little hummingbird!!

This is for a dear friend. She is much like a hummingbird *^_^*

Canyons Cold and Dark

She dwells in deep canyons cold and dark
To ponder a mystery that haunts her soul
That leaves confusion and doubts in heart
The loss of confidence now takes its toll

To ponder a mystery that haunts her soul
That renders sleepless hours through the night
The loss of confidence now takes its toll
A flower slowly dying withers in sunlight

It renders sleepless hours through the night
The days are shortened and she wastes away
A flower slowly dying withers in sunlight
Her sweet fragrance lost, forever and a day

The days are shortened and she wastes away
What could be this wrong which she has caused?
Her sweet fragrance lost, forever and a day
To fully grasp this puzzle she requires pause

What could be this wrong which she has caused?
What pain has she laid upon your heart?
To fully grasp this puzzle she requires pause
She dwells in deep canyons cold and dark

Tiara in Her

This picture I pick is not her own,
It could be for a bimbo or a night trig.
This picture with me is not her own,
It could be for a sissy or a bleaching wig.
This picture I hold is not her own,
It could be for a lousy or a neglected lass.
This picture with me is not her own,
It could be for a demon or a girlie class.

This picture I pick is no doubt her own,
It's obvious in her spotless face and her passionate grin.
This picture with me is really her own,
It's obvious in her modest crown and her sincere chin.
This picture I hold is no doubt her own,
It's obvious in her ideal stroll with her gorgeous rose.
This picture with me is really her own,
It's obvious in her charming blouse and her classy pose.

Mother's Flower Garden

Mother’s Flower Garden Each day in the summer and spring Mother would water her flowers the same time each day While she nurtured them she would always begin to sing A sweet melody that brought everything to bloom in a magical way The sun always seemed to shine where the flowers bloomed Giving light to a beautiful yard’s bouquet that mother blossomed there Giving life to once flowers that no one ever cared for and were left for doom She knew everything alive required tender love and care Mother passed away in the beginning of this spring Still the flowers remain with such beauty in bloom Her love from heaven seems to be taking care of everything As I still hear her voice softly sing her sweet melody in tune

Peaches and Cream

She was looking my way, I had nothing to say,
Though I'd dreamed that this day would transpire;
With her beaux all around, why would she look at me
With such interest and playful desire?

She was heading my way, what on earth would I say
To the prettiest girl in the town?
And how could I bear all her sunshiny hair
Or her eyes, speckled golden and brown?

I thought, "This is the one! Mercy, here comes the sun!
If I stare, I shall surely be blind:
Though I be somewhat plain, if she choose to remain
I'd be last in the county to mind."

Then my eyes turned away as she sweetly did say
Pretty phrases I cannot recall;
And I mumbled replies, though they might have been lies,
Since I cannot remember at all.

Of that bright day in May but one thing I can say,
She was dressed in a soft yellow gown;
'Twas a lemony hue that was buttery too,
And with eight shiny pearls buttoned down.

Then I asked if she'd dance at the Cunningham's manse,
At the ball on the fourteenth of June;
She replied, "Oh, how good! Yes, I certainly would;
And I hope I shall talk to you soon."

What a wonderful day! Still with nothing to say
I just whistled an old happy tune;
Having primrosy dreams of sweet peaches and cream
As I counted the hours of June.
