Timeless Love

They met at first around sixteen, while they were in their teens.
A young man tall and handsome, a girl with many dreams.
Years later they did meet again this time he was smitten.
It took some time to hook this girl, eventually their history written.

He had a plan to marry her and move her from her home.
She'd have to leave her roots, the only thing she'd known.
Leave her home and family was what she had to do,
The love they shared was eternal even though it 'twas brand new.

This love they shared was a gift, their faith was also strong
They both loved many similar things like fishing, books and song.
Seven children blessed their lives, they started their own tree
So strong this love they shared, became one large family.

Both worked hard to raise them, devoted to each one,
They shared their love equally to each daughter and each son.
Education and faith were important, practiced with daily prayer
They fed and clothed this family with love and tremendous care

Each child was very different and different paths they took.
Educators, artists, builders, Lawyers and even cooks.
Each child found their partners, some added children to each branch.
All love music, all loved to read, a few even like to dance.

Their children had more children and the two were greatly blessed,
With lovely grandchildren with many traits that both these two possessed
What remained from the love they shared twas passed down through the line
A love this strong must be shared and it surpassed all time

Four generations have now developed from these two whose love began
So many years before when both had shared a plan.
Each twig shares a piece and resembles one or the other
For this love story that's been described was about a Father and Mother

I'd love to say they share a life together here today
But God had different plans in mind, for one he took away
The void he left was devastating to everyone you see
Hardest on the one for which he shared atop the tree

The plan these two created at the time they were entwined
Continues on by one so strong , who giveth all of her time
To the tree these two created which grows branches to this day
The love created by these two shall never go

Faith In God Makes A Difference

                                            Commitments are hard
Time is swift and life is short
                                              Misfortunes happen
Faith in God makes a difference
                                         Times will pass much easier

Pledge of love and loyalty

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

EMBERS OF TIME

Twists and big turns in the name of real love
Either it will mend or break a heart
If this feeling of love, its author is God
Involved persons then must render their part

He logs more on oceans and she on land
Friendship to sweet soulful romance, began

No phone-lines nor e-mails nothing advance
With only black pen and paper on hand
Both of them, grab take that one lifetime chance
Thirty five years now, they are on love dance

Skin gone sag, wrinkled. Hair now thin and gray
Holding hands while walking like good old days
Romantic dinners. Roses. Gifts and cards.
Hugs, kisses... "I love you", their darling say

Ageless enduring in embers of time
Blazing better within embers of time.

A Beautiful Reverie

Here I lie beside you
My heart goes thump.thump.thump.
My soul dances inside you
Reveling in the texture of your own.
Electric and flowing
The currents of our love
Glow like neon lights
Illuminating the hope in my eyes.
Though we're not moving
I feel so incredibly alive
Invincible to my past
Untouchable by all who lack
That gentle touch of when
You lean in and brush my face
Your lips grazing my skin
Softer than a butterfly.
And then you gaze into my eyes
I fall into your depths
Twirling like the autumn leaves
Melting into your smile
Your soul reminiscent of summer.
You pull me into your arms
And for a moment I'm lost
Breathless and in awe
Staring in the face of pure exquisite love
And there you are - holding it
Glowing in the moonlight of my stare.
My heart beats - its drum pounding away
Echoing a song thats lost its words
I touch your cheek and smile
My hands cant stay away
My lips s l o w l y, draw near yours
Hovering, and then -
Part, a soft warmth against them.
My eye lids pulling shut
Dragging me into a silent heaven
I pull away - and what seemed millennia
Lasted only a moment, a second in time
But this is our love
This is what you do to me
You make me invincible and fragile
Lost forever in a beautiful reverie.

The Lovers Dance

It was their night they shone bright as they danced their sweet dance
Two lovers embraced in their world of romance.

They laughed and they cried as their eyes locked in stare
It was their world for this moment as if no one was there.

And their steps they so flawlessly glided in tune,
To a melody that touched everyone in that room.

Their passion brought envy to onlookers there,
Who secretly questioned their own love affair.

But as the night closed and came to an end
The lovers were blind to what lie round the bend.

The house and the cars and the jobs that went bad
The kids drove them crazy and their savings were drab.

So they fought to hold on to the things in their life,
That caused them so much of their pain and their strife.

They fought with each other like enemies do,
And dismissed in their life everything that was true.

So when sickness and hardships and troubles occurred,
Their vows to commit seemed truly absurd.

Their home and their kids would now take a backseat,
For their moral obligation they chose not to meet.

So I Ask …
What happened to that dance they danced so well?
With passion and truth everyone could tell.

What happened to their dance where they held so tight?
What happened to the wonder of their glorious night?

What happened to the words that charmed their ears?
With a passionate rhythm that brought them to tears.

What happened to those vows that poured from their heart?
The “I love you forever and till death do us part”.

For these aren’t just words we borrow for the day,
From another who tells us this is what we must say.

We say them cause it’s what we feel true in our heart,
It’s a God given blessing we commit from the start.

But these words are now lost as they fall on deaf ears,
Since the pain and the struggles they’ve created these years.

So the lesson here learned dear people of odd,
Is that love is so fragile but made strong with our God.

So stop fighting for power and money or need,
For all of this nonsense is only our greed.

Keep God in your life and he’ll walk you through,
When heartache and pain and losses ensue.

For why commit vows in the eyes of our God,
And not call on him when life gets too hard?

For the truth of our vows we are all meant to see,
is that marriage is not, made of two, but of three

If reading these words ring some truth in your heart,
Decide that today you will make a new start.

Go hug your spouse and say something kind
Don’t let the small stuff cloud up your mind.

We’re all just lost souls who are trying to cope
If not there for each other then where is the hope?

You see, the anger, the fight
that in us abide, Is only the insecure child inside.

So rise up above all this fear and this pain,
And see all the beauty that there is to gain.

By trusting in God and his will for you
Together forever he’ll see you both through.

For life is too short for our miserly ways
cheap on our love hence dreading our days.

He made us to love in all that we do
To wake up each morning and start us a new.

So pray for your spouse, ask God to be kind
To the person you prayed in the beginning to find.

They’re still the same person you loved from the start
But life and it’s troubles have hardened their heart.

You vowed that you’d love them in sickness and health
Now is your chance to show God what you felt.

So rise up my friend, don’t say that you’re through
For what if your loving God gave up on you?

Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

The WIDOW'S DAY

THE WIDOW'S DAY

He’d been dead for forty years
But she carried on each day
Got up at eight and dressed
Ate luncheon on a tray

No bride was kissed as well
No groom felt more complete
And one year was their gift
When Fate served them defeat

She should have followed him
But life grabbed her instead
Who is to say what’s better
The living or the dead

Each day as sun drew low
She tossed a glass of wine
Lolled on the white porch swing
And took a dip through time
His shadow found her then
She touched his rugged face
It emphasized the fact
No one would take his place

And though she craved wild nights--
Cold loneliness was cruel--
she lived her life alone
becoming no man's fool.

THE FORTRESS OF LOVE

THE FORTRESS OF LOVE

Every marriage has its bumps in the road
And they can pop up at any time.
We must learn to navigate them safely
With fairness, faith and open mind.

No matter how far in your marriage you’ve gone
The highway of love has its rules.
The excitement of sex, trust and affection
Never tolerates self-serving fools.

They say marriages are made in heaven,
But so are tornadoes, lighting and thunder.
Cold hearts and hot heads never solve anything
They just destroy what we love by blunder.

 Boredom, frustration, irritations and anger
Douse the spark between you and your mate.
More of the same fails to feed love’s flame
Till you wake up to find it’s too late

Human touch sustains the release of endorphins
For both the giver and receiver.
Never be afraid to hug your partner.
For the language of touch is a reliever.

Always remember to support your spouse
When times of dilemma arise.
The fortress of love will sustain your marriage
If you speak less and listen more, you’re wise.

Thank you

Thank you – Zamreen Zarook

Thank you is a sweet word in the nature,
You may be a guy of adventure,
May be you are a person of agriculture,
What matters is your architecture.

Never forget the people, who guided you,
In no degree neglect who were with you,
Don’t ever overlook a creature, who gave a smile to you,
Because, you will meet them above you.

People forget the past due to selfishness,
They have no time to remember their unawareness,
Society, most of the times behave in awfulness,
They will understand when their lives come in to bitterness.

Be a person to thank and remember,
Don’t consider them as December,
Because, you might need them in November,
So, always be as a good subscriber.

The Family That God Gave to Me

The Family That God Gave to Me I think about the family, that God gave to me... And think about where they'll spend eternity! I think about the good times, that we've had. And the trials we've faced... Both good and bad! God helped us to overcome adversity together! And proved his faithfulness... Today and forever! He showed us the Godly path, that we should follow... And promised to be with us! Today and tomorrow! He's proven how much he loves us! And how much that he cares for us! Thank you my lord, for all you do! Where would we be? If not for you? You've proven yourself over and over again! Thank you so much, for being our friend! By Jim Pemberton

Dreams Of Reality

Dreams Of Reality
By Nate Spears
Published 2013 in “Death OF A Rose” By Nate Spears

A difference of a world a way
A distance of a different kind
Love is blind and divine
Hold my hand
Let us touch the sunshine
On this hill of heaven we stand
I pray

From one another
Life and the world will never take us
Unless it’s together
Then we will become forever
Never leaving each others presence
Our bond becomes stronger in living
With every day
I stare into your glare
Wishing we live on; and long
Strong and healthy
We will grow old
In a happy union together
Looking beside me
Coming to a reality
You’re not there
My dreams are not reality
My love has perished.

Log Cabin Sex Life

I can’t help but wonder, about the blunder, of building a one room log cabin,
Where man and wife, lived a private life, ‘til kids became real, not imagined

With no partitions, or new additions, you’d think their sex life would run ashore.
But they both knew, how to make it through, by inventing a thing called the chore.

As each kid did sprout, pa had to go out, and think up a new job for the tot.
He soon realized, that for his farm’s size, there were more tots then jobs to be got.

And the matriarch, made the remark, that inside we plum ran out of space.
So they tried to rid, their house of kids, as fast as were made in the first place.

At last the last lad, made a nice lass glad, got married and had a grand party,
But pa had ma’s hind, right on his mind; they arrived at the party, tardy.

Well all went ok, until the sad day, when the old man’s life ran out of time.
And then poor ma, lost her chutzpah, plus the cabin exceeded its prime.

So ma did call, her last son Paul, asked if he knew what she should do then,
He said oh dear, I just moved here, and that we don’t even have a den.

But son relents, and acts the gent, there is space in one nook of our room.
If you feed cows, and all the sows, cause heck ma, I’ve got a new bride groom.

God's Purpose of the Rainbow

There’s many people who claim they’ve nothing to “hide!”
They tend to use the rainbow
as a source of their “pride.”

But if you read in the book of Genesis, it is revealing.
God’s purpose of the rainbow had a different meaning!

The rainbow was there when much
 of mankind disappeared!
There was a promise of God that was so very clear.

He promised to never again destroy man with a flood.
This was his promise... An extension of his love!

It was never intended as his approval for perversion!
Mankind still needs a Jesus filled holy conversion!

The colors of the rainbow can’t wash away sin’s dark stain!
This can only happen by the
 power of Jesus’ name!

The colors are beautiful… But man’s heart is filled with deceit!
Without the soul cleansing power of Jesus…
 We’re never complete!

No court decision can give the freedom that many desire!
Only the power of the cross can
 change you this very hour!

The only way to find equality with God, is through the cross!
Without his words of truth…
We are forever LOST!

Look past the colors of the rainbow! Seek the power of the blood!
Then you too, can be changed from
 God’s power from above!

My Love

My love I can not find you anywhere,
I feel like I lost my soul somewhere,
because you are my soulmate,
and us being apart can not be fate.

You did not leave because you wanted to,
It just was just something you had to do.

I was not right, All I wanted to do was fight,
and knowing you was the love of my life,
yet I would not make you my wife.

I know that's what you really wanted
and now I am feeling haunted,
by the things I should have done,
and you being the only one
I ever loved and will love forever, if it was'nt for me we will still be together.

But you are gone
and I can not go on,
so I must say good-bye, I'm leaving myself to die.

When a man loves a woman

When a man loves a woman..

He listens to how she’s feeling more than what she’s saying,
He will put her needs and desires before his own,
He will let her into his heart, and work to get into hers,
He will reinforce her as a woman, build her up, and encourage her to take risks,
She will know he always has her best interests in mind,
She will be confident in her endeavors knowing she’s supported and loved,
Her beauty and desire will never be a question, in her own mind,
Because her beauty and desire will always be mentioned and nurtured,
She will know the relationship is worth more that the conflict,
She will know she’s cherished, because she feels cherished in the comfort of his arms,
He will make her a priority in life,
He will be inclusive and inviting
She will be able to trust him with her most intimate thoughts,
And know it will never be used against her,
She will feel free to express herself and be vulnerable with him
He will kiss her with all the passion of the first time,
He will do all this and more,
Even when the color has faded from their very first photograph,
He will do this and more because he loves his woman.

The Autumn Affect

There's something unspecific about the autumn nights
A certain shade of color that uplifts my inner child's eyes
Beside a cashmere moon Venus and Jupiter shine bright
Complimented by a sea of blinking infinite twilight
The scent of burning oak lingers in the air from home made fires
Reminiscent of a time when this man was just a child
Careless and so free to dream and any dream to live
Like feathers floating across a field carried by the wind
As a gentle breeze blows through the leaves shivering delightful gloom
Unlike flowers of springtime the disheveled autumn vibrance bloom
Leaves crackle beneath my feet along the skeleton tree path
Where I try to find my peace or a song to make me laugh
The air is so much crisper and also soothing when I breathe it in
Underneath a starry sky and brighter constellations of Heaven
Amidst the trail I pass a lovely couple holding hands
While their children run aside frolicking in a playful dance
An old man and his wife admire the view from a wooden bench
With smiles on their face as if nostalgia is still their closest friend
Its these specific autumn affects that bring me sorrows and joy
Reminding me of all theses things Ive wanted as a man since I was a little boy
Its times like these that I wish I wasn't always so alone
Because I would light an fire with my family and call it home

love in Marriage by Weston Gregory

Love in Marriage

For this reason, love precious joy
is shared, expressed;
that within the confine of marriage
its significance, are memories
though sometime small
hold the most potent experience.

Marrraige is a give and take
love is a give all you can take
marriage is equal estate,
love gift offering keeps you
fill while never sate.

For satisfaction, love though
is not lacking in conviction,
marriage on the other hand
is truly the best one,
offering completion one to
another to safe guard our
institutions.

From seeing its growth,
feeling its unadulterated dose,
love in marriage truly make for
the best strokes.

of importance, not to be side tracked
are the loveliness of our children
when mom and dad tie the knot.

A bond of inclusiveness
A bond resolved on two people
promise to share in matrimony

Ohhhh Rain : Shower again

A small romantic rain poem dedicated to hubby.
wrote by Mrs.Madhavi.Suyog.Pagare

"Ohhhh Rain..Shower again!!!!! "

Showering in the rain,
Draining the pain!
Enflueraging the essence of arenicolous sand,
Feeling blessed porting on this beautiful greenary land! Trees were roaming
under fiercing winds,
Thanks nature for benevolently so kind!
Sip of sizzling coffee With Caramalized sugar,
Cheers hubby to accompany me my gelling agar!
Wanna capture this Driplets of aromatic water nearby lake,
So that I can make an icy snowflake!
That's amazing, "but ohhhh God, I wish my honey is here".

You Alone

Look at you, you have found my heart
With love I stare into your eyes
With passion I devise
I can not part with you or can not stop the things I have started

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Look I walk by your side and I found my self crying
With your hands so soft with gentleness
With your smile so beautiful with carefulness
I do notice life with you without sighing

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Without a fear of losing you, you are in my visions
With beautiful roses by your side
I love you more than twelve times
Without doubt I do love you, I care for you and you alone

So do not walk away
Please lets talk about things anyway
With feelings of letting you go is make me ache in the heart
Do not stop believing my passion has fallen apart

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Look I want us to grow old with each other through years of journeys
With hope of sharing life of fulfillment that gives us memories
With this I hope to give all of my faith and I hope it is not to late
I Look into your eyes with such full life because you have been my life date

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

And you alone

So I raise my hands to embrace you

you alone

Boyfriend

Baby, you remind me of a bunny,
sweet loyal and trustworthy
you always make life funny
when we're not together, i miss you badly,

you notice things no other man bothers to notice,
when i look into your blue eyes i see the true me,
my exes made me feel worthless
that's why i believe in our family,

when we speak i feel the love
when you smile at me i could swim in your dimples
our hands fit together as snug as gloves
and one hug from you makes life seem simple

I'm so happy you are my boyfriend
i never want this relationship to end.

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU?

What all hear various definitions
 of what marriage means.
Not realizing the consequences
 this often brings!

There’s often a lack of commitment and faithfulness.
Many still looking for a true source of happiness!

This institution, that God set up as a husband and wife.
Needs to have his spirit,
 to guide our life!

It’s no wonder why, there’s many falling apart!
It’s causing heartache and many broken hearts!

No court in the land can wash away sin’s dark stain.
When adultery happens, things aren’t the same!

May we all seek to ask God
 to strengthen our home!
He’s there to help us!
 When we feel all alone!

We need the blood of Jesus to daily cleanse us!
He wants to do this! Because he loves us!

Jesus remains committed, faithful and strong!
His word will teach us what’s right and wrong!

May we seek HIS guidance and council!
You’ll find, that he is always most helpful!

Please Jesus… Heal the broken families
 across this nation!
For only you can provide
 a much needed foundation!

In the twilight hours

In the twilight hours

In the twilight hours
We walk the streets alone
Bear and I in the inky darkness
I like to be on my own
On these precious morning hours
When I sink within my soul
It's in the wondrous morning times
When me, I feel so whole.

Then when the walk is over
I do my best to write
A lovely song for you alone
It gives me such delight
To write you words of love, and bliss
For you're my precious one
And I have need to do this thing
Way before the day's begun.

I guess that I'll be writing thus
Until the day I die
I am a wordsmith naught much else
And within my heart there lies
Two ton of love, sweet, tender love
And all of it for you
I am the troubadour of love
So what else can I do?

BEAUTIFUL LIES

                      Beautiful Lies

Gazing on your beloved face sublime,
Love’s mist reflection blazes in your eyes--
Because I know I have so little time,
I whisper kisses with the same old lies.
Each time I vow that I will never leave.
Tho caught again bereft that I must go.
The simple truth too cruel to believe
And hiding truth retains our lovers’ glow.
Reality is killer to love’s plans,
No matter how both lovers promised true.
No man's vision has passion more consumed
Than my yearning eyes nourished sight of you.
You slept---and I slipped silent through the door--
Donned uniform and headed back to war.

                         Beautiful Lies

Gazing on your beloved face sublime,
Love’s mist reflection blazes in your eyes--
Because I know I have so little time,
I whisper kisses with the same old lies.
Each time I vow that I will never leave.
Tho caught again bereft that I must go.
The simple truth too cruel to believe
And hiding truth retains our lovers’ glow.
Reality is killer to love’s plans,
No matter how both lovers promised true.
No man's vision has passion more consumed
Than my yearning eyes nourished sights of you.
She sleeps---and I sneak silent through the door--
Now dare to seek the playoff football score.

A Very Inviting Temptation

A Very Inviting Temptation! I remember of a particular situation. I was offered a very "inviting" temptation. The situation I was in... I didn't belong! And lost any sense of "right and wrong." At first... I felt no guilt or shame. And brought embarrassment to my family's name. I tried to explain this to my wife and kids. I heard; "Dad... please... no more fibs!" The Godly principles were "tossed to the side," As the sin inside caused arrogance and pride. Soon, all in my life that truly mattered... Was gone! My life was empty and shattered! I was sorry for all of the problems I caused! This time... I took a moment to pause. I cried to God to rescue me from my sin. I confessed! Would God help me once again? I read in the Bible of Jesus’ grace and love! This time the help I needed had to come from above! I asked him for a fresh and brand new start. He removed the stain from a broken heart. He restored to me the joy I once had. I'm so blessed! Jesus has made me glad! Jesus is the reason I'm here today! I LOVE HIM more than words can say! By Jim Pemberton

Tropical Getaway

Carpooling in the Monday traffic jam,
Wondering what we are and who I am.
Since we’ve already raised a family,
Is there anything left just for you and me?
Seems each day is just like the one before.
Exactly what have we both been working for?
So many years lost from nine to five...
Making ends meet, but barely feeling alive.

I wanna find us some tropical getaway--
Somewhere lost where the locals play;
With fishing boats and mango trees,
And spicy scents carried on the breeze.
I wanna find us some island Shangri-La—
A quiet spot with no hoopla...
Some place where it’s easy to hide,
That can’t be found in a tourist guide.

I wanna find us some tropical paradise
Where nights are warm and folks are nice,
And green birds sing exotic melodies
While monkeys play high in coconut trees
We could lounge in that tropical paradise,
As bonfires spark like fireflies;
Watch lovers dance while steel drums play
Calypso tunes from dusk till day.

I wanna hold you close on an empty beach,
With a full moon just out of reach.
We could sneak behind a big sand dune
And celebrate another honeymoon.
Let’s forget about all the noisy mobs,
Grown-up kids, and annoying jobs,
And swing in a hammock made for two—
And snuggle close, just me and you.

(Chorus)
Bamboo torches and starry skies
Will be mirrored in your big brown eyes.
We’ll dance away each endless night,
Lost in love, with no dawn in sight.

Healing Can Only Happen When the Pain Is Gone

Healing Can Only happen,
 When the Pain is Gone!

Healing can only happen, when the pain
 and damage are gone!
It can only come about, when there’s
 no “lists” of wrongs!

People need to move ahead, and put all
 of the past behind them!
And seek God’s forgiveness,
so his grace can find ‘em!

Too many carry a load of sorrow
and grief that they can’t afford!
They need to bring everything to Jesus,
 and make him their LORD!

How can we experience healing,
if the suffering is still there?
How will we ever be able to love others,
 and truly care?

May we all seek the kind of healing,
 that only Christ can bring!
May we allow him to remove
 all pain and suffering!

Jesus… We need your healing now! More than ever before!
It is your love that we must learn
 to treasure and adore!

Please come now and refresh us with your awesome love!
The sweetness of your Holy Spirit, is a gift from above!

Thank you God! The pain is gone and the healing has come!
All praise, glory and honor to Jesus!
 God’s anointed son!

Ourselves

Ourselves

The world is filled with temptation.
The heart is filled with desires.
The eye’s is filled with it own truth.
The mind is on the breaking point of sane and insanity.

We are only human.
We are only creatures, neither light nor dark.
We are only ourselves.

Some wear mask to defeat others.
Some wear mask to defeat themselves.
Some wear mask to hide who they really are.

Here is the point where we must decide in our life where we stand.
For trust and love and kinship of your blood will be tested.

First was the temptation.
Then it sets with desires.
Afterwards either the truth or lies are spun.
And to the last who shall stand brave or break under the weight.

We speak of truth when behind us is nothing but woven lies, and hearts full of deceit.
Can you not see the hypocrite side of us?
Ha! It wounds me to known this, even more that I am one of those.

Take heed and resist or be forgotten with all others.
For in this life there is only good or evil, light and darkness, the possible and impossible.

Such is us.
Such is you.
Such is me.

Our world is filled with temptation.
Our hearts is filled with desires.
Our eye’s is filled with what we wish to see.
Our mind’s is filled with things that can make and break us.

COUCH POTATO

COUCH POTATO

Can there be more solid man
On the couch he’s planted here
Under blankets and old books
Calling orders for more beer
Has he grown a set of roots

Planting him eternally
Or is it possible
That he ‘s related to a tree?
As I glance at him again
Taking drinks and giving smiles
Oh, I’d rather have him home--
                       TV’s cheaper than gas miles

America Is Being DESTROYED From Within

As sin and perversion often become integrated… So many lives and families are being “disintegrated.” Many are being driven by sin’s temptation force… It’s no wonder much of this country is way “off course.” The morality and values that once made a great nation. Are evaporating…. Leading to a “spiritual separation.” Love, honor, and respect of God… Is often a “thing of the past.” Anything of God seems to be disappearing FAST! God is our only hope! And him alone! Only he can bring healing to our broken homes! He’s the answer to this wounded nation, that bleeds! It’s only God that can meet all of our needs! He’s our provider… The great: “I am!” Won’t you reach out to him? And give him your hand? Why not give him a chance? And allow him in? A brand new life for you… Is waiting to begin! May we allow God’s holiness and love to reach down into our hearts… Asking; “Lord please forgive our sins!” Is a good place to start! By Jim Pemberton

I am a woman, not a woe-man

I am valuable but not worth any price
I am precious but far more than gold
I am productive but not for abuse
I can talk but not to be abused of talking
I am hardworking but not to be a slave
I am a wife but I am an individual too

I am a mother but I'm just human
I am strong but I get tired too,
I am in flesh, so I need rest
I care but I value myselft first and foremost
I am kind but need kindness too
I listen but not to be lied to
I run the house but I deserve to run myself too

I am the help meet but I need support too
I understand but not to be misunderstood
I provide but I need to be provided for too
I run the kitchen but I need to run my self too
I am the housewife but I am a wife too,
I am married, to my husband, not the house!
I love but I should not be taken for granted

I am weak but not to be raped, beated and scratched
I am submissive and obedient but not to be exercised power abuse on
I am a cheerful giver but not to be robbed
I am soft but not to have my blood squeezed out,
I am full of life but not to be taken away from me
Yes, I am a woman,
Created to live,
Not to be a woebegone!

Beyond Silence

Beyond Silence…
lives the hearts of troubled souls
a mythical world of enchanting beauty
giving comfort to broken spirits forlorn,

Beyond Silence…
hope’s sparkling joy brings peace
to distant contrite minds ever searching,
for love’s promised happily ever after,

Beyond Silence…
faith’s lasting cherished memories
brings remembrance of good times past
where timeless wonderment stands still,

Beyond Silence…
surprise keeps true happiness alive
filling souls with friendship’s blessing
encouraging lifelong bonds freely given,

Beyond Silence…
playful songs beautiful melodies
rescue aspiring dreams beyond success
from loneliness to jubilance everlasting,

Beyond Silence…
divine perfection becomes one
in triumphant shouts of worshipful praise
lifting countless voices in spiritual refrain,

Beyond Silence…
life is born anew in fervent prayer
cleansing the heart, mind, body, and soul
in forgiveness life-changing joy evermore.

Marriage and Love

Marriage gives life to love and love gives life to marriage.

In marriage, love means:
To know in your heart you were meant only for each-other.
To know that Heaven grew you apart and brought you together after the time you were meant to be molded to fit each-other.
To discover what it is to be best friends forever.
To discover what it is to love someone more than yourself.
To discover you are actually only a half and how much you need the other to be complete.
To discover the bonds that form when times get tough.
To discover how much more joy is multiplied when there is someone you love to share it with.
Each day is a day of discovery, a day to build your love, a day to make your bond stronger.

Marriage is:
To together choose one way, not one's own way.
To respect and honor with love the other over oneself or anyone else.
To compromise with each-other but never compromising each-other.
To know you are loved, cherished and needed whether fat or thin, well or ill, chirpy or
grumpy.
To live life's summer, winter, autumn and spring always being there for one another.
To blend as one that over the years you feel as one and speak as one.
To be savored like wine, enriched by the passing of time.
To honor Marriage is to honor its Maker. To commit in marriage is to commit to its Maker.

Husbands are in heaven whose wives scold not

So much emphasis is placed today on the role of the wife She is to be pure, pristine, just, hardworking She is to imbibe all who surround her with faith She needs to be able to know everything without ever asking She is to be the woman behind her husband The one who would make of him a gem To be a wife, is surely a complicated state Acted out badly, one can even be a contraband! But what of the duties of a man, Is he as important as the woman To be a husband requires one only to work and bring money To care not whether the home is, without him, in harmony Husbands are in heaven whose wives scold not Husbands have rights, rights to use words of spite Rights to beat, rights to abuse Rights even to cheat, to hurt and bruise When the woman speaks out, or scolds such a man She becomes something seen by some as a legend Seen by others as un-womanly Whatever, she knows how to protect herself through her duty What of those men whose wives scold not Should they be brought back to the pot To be cooked and simmered To be brought to the right path Feminists, equal rights, equal opportunities Women's places no more being in the kitchen Husbands, change your mentalities We, women, we are frail and easily broken!

Unspoken Love

She saved herself from pick up lines though she looked vulnerable
She's sooo lovable her heart definition could ruin my poetic abilities
You cannot put a price on her she's not billable
If only her lips where adjustable my soft poetry would define her inabilities and weaknesses for the mute to scream happily ever after
She's untouchable i O you an explanation
Her tears tattoo broken spirits uploaded on instagram
She's no twitter baby though followers invite themselves its unbelievable
I could throw nice verses in our conversation but i'm afraid i'm love blind

I'll tell you more about her if you ask me....ask me nice

DAMAGED MY TRUE LOVE

written 17th Sept 2013

When it comes to love, I AM poisonous
don't let me curse another, leave me loveless

For the first time in my life, I felt your pain and cried for your heart
my heart finally hurts, knowing I passed this pain from the start

Please find help to set your heart free
trust me, it's not a life you recover from easily

Damaged goods I told you, unrepairable
but some how, you managed the impossible

Unlovable for my entire life
yet you had no problem, getting me to become your wife

Yes, it's been more than both of us should have ever had to bear
at this moment, every cell in my body is overwhelmed, so I really do care

Please don't enter my life's pain and despair
you don't deserve it, you are so patient and filled with such love

I'm sorry I let myself fall in love knowing it would poison you
soul mates forever and eternity, my love belongs only to you...

The Ugliness Of Divorce

My parents taught me the Christian ways.
I was taught to obey what the Bible says.

I was proud of my parents! I really was!
And loved them so much… Just because!

They meant everything to me! I was proud!
Until one day... There appeared “a dark cloud.”

It was like a “darkness” hovered above.
Leaving their marriage empty of needed love!

Though they were together many years.
There were many cracks that soon appeared.

I say a once happy home soon destroyed.
Being with one another…. They no longer enjoyed!

How could this happen! I had wondered…
To see a happy marriage “totally plundered

As sin crept in... And allowed to prevail.
Very soon this marriage simply failed.

May this be a warning for me and you…
That our commitment remains faithful and true!

If your marriage is heading toward separation…
Please seek God for a healing and restoration!

If your planning to have a divorce..
Jesus’ love can put it on the right course!

He can replace the brokenness and hurt within..
And can put your lives back together AGAIN!

WILL YOU MARRY ME

I longed for you and me
To be together for eternity
So I traveled across the sea
Open ocean feeling fancy free
Want to see all we could be
Add a branch to the family tree
So I dropped to a knee
Knelt before your amazing beauty
I prayed you would agree
Then I asked "Will you marry me?"

You answered.. Maybe!

Together Again

A girl whom he'd forgotten
At his door, showed up the other day
The one he'd always wanted
Just knew not what to say

The boy she longed to hold
She caught his eyes once again
Of her love, to him, she never told
But this time, all her love, she will send

Once in a lifetime, and not one time more
Fate takes hold, luck is lent
From out of the blue, a miracle occurs
Hearts reunite, Together Again

She greets him with a smile
A sparkle in her eyes
For his love, she'd run for miles
To try this thing called love, just one time

Gazing at her beauty, he feels her in heart
Remembering those nights, with her, in his dreams
And how he felt at this whole love's start
Where they'd be one forever, to him, oh how it seemed

Well this girl's name was Katie, and his Steve
And oh how tears were shed, by them both, when they were forced to leave
But in the past that was, so now he holds her hand
Two angels together, forever they'll stand

Once in a lifetime, and not one time more
Fate takes hold, luck is lent
From out of the blue, a miracle occurs
Hearts reunite, Together Again

An old couple now, a lifetime of love
They've conquered all, risen together, above
Together, all the years, oh how they've spent
And to each other, all their love they have sent

Feeling each others hearts beating every morning
Through all the decades, all the happy years
Steve's heart though, one of these days, stopped without warning
And Katie's wrinkled face, moistened with tears

How could Katie live now, without her beloved by her side
Knowing that beside her, his heart slowly died?
She dreams every night now, just as he did before, of heaven
Where they'll be Together Again

Once in a lifetime, and not one time more
Fate takes hold, luck is lent
From out of the blue, a miracle occurs
Hearts reunite, Together Again

You Are the One

She lays in his arms
he asks her what's wrong
the silence you keep
and the smile you fake
I know that something's on your mind
She says i don't understand
how someone like you
could love me the way you do
and he says

You are the one
that makes my heart beat
that completes me
never look down upon your soul
you are the one
that makes my hands shake
you're my whole life babe
you make me feel so whole
so don't underestimate
what you do for a wounded soul
I looked everywhere for someone to save me
and finally
you are the one

they sit down for dinner
he says it's been so long since we've been together
and there's something that I have to say
he gets on one knee and pulls out a ring
I cant't imagine why you're here to this day
but I hope there is not coming our way
and she says

You are the one
that makes my heart beat
that completes me
never look down upon your soul
you are the one
that makes my hands shake
you're my whole life babe
you make me feel so whole
so don't underestimate
what you do for a wounded soul
I looked everywhere for someone to save me
and finally
you are the one

the preacher speaks
God's words does he say
Faith has brought us to this day
they look in each others eyes
and only they can see

You are the one
that makes my heart beat
that completes me
never look down upon your soul
you are the one
that makes my hands shake
you're my whole life babe
you make me feel so whole
so don't underestimate
what you do for a wounded soul
I looked everywhere for someone to save me
and finally
you are the one

no one else was there for me
no one else stopped my heart form bleding
only you can make me feel this way
only you can find my true smile
among the hopeless and the broken
you are the one that saved me from it all

you are the one
that makes my heart beat
that completes me
never look down upon your soul
I looked everywhere
for someone to save me
and finally
you are the one

thank everything
In this beautiful world
That made for me
you were there for me
you are the one

Eternal Breath

With bicycles and a big shoulder sling bag
You were there, at the other side of my fence
Throwing the paper toward me with a smile
Awarded me with a wonder-stricken time lag

I remember, you were ten and I was eight
It was in 1940, our first met
So soon later we allied
And all these times, I always sure that it was truly a fate

I remember, it was on an anesthetize Sunday morning
You put a ring on my finger when I was just seventeen
We started riding our life together in a rollercoaster of emotions
For years you are my one and only paperboy prince charming

Today, on your grave that is shrouded by Autumn leaves
Knowing that our love surely went on endlessly
I smile and take another breath in the eyes of eternity
A splendor moment, for our memories, far away from griefs

A Woman Like You

Always I have dreamed of loving a woman like you ,
So kind and understanding in all of the things you do.
Everyday you are always the same so full of life,
Making me so proud the day you become my wife.
Never do I worry when things do not go my way,
Only words of encouragement you would have to say.
To hear you laugh or to see your beautiful smile ,
Stays with me in my thoghts for such a long while.
I am forever thinking of the happiness you bring me,
Confirming our lives together was always meant to be .
Every night I Thank my Lord for how special you've been,
I find myself a very Blessed man for what he did.
A person could ask for no more when it comes to love ,
Especially when there's no doubt it was made from above.

HELP HER UP

written 2nd Aug 2013

This life is not as it should be
pick up your wife, can't you see

You're her husband, stand up!
give her a reason, to again believe

She means 'everything'....to this family
shutting the door leaving her totally... Alone

Do you actually know her at all...
damaging her heart and soul, deep within it's cold

Loneliness consumes her, it's been so long
it must be asked...do you still love her?

Are you willing to help her to her feet again?
or shall you sit back and watch, as she see's the end

This is completely left for only you, her husband to declare
how much does she really mean to you...do you still care?

Will you step up, or let her rot into total depression, you see it...
Love and care, or death and dispirit

It's all up to you!
Her loving husband, what will you do.....

An actor but out of the drama

At a certain point
He happened to be a pretender
Deviating the track he came
Like an iguana
Way of flowing the life
Broke and changed

Language of words
Feelings and expressions
Thoughts and strategies
Smiles and laughs
Became an artificial drama of an actor
Does his role very latently

Lie being the reality
Life becomes the reality of lie
From then on
Vanished the soul and
Reborn a different mind

Because of that
Life being shaped
Before the mirror
He is same but different in soul

Writing in sand and stone

Writing "I love you" in the sand suggests that love is meant to fade,
That it can be washed away by life's periodic tides.
I suggest we write our love in stone, always carving it deeper.

THAT SAME DAY

One long stem white rose, he extends
To a lass, he chose and longed to tend
With cold both hands, she gets and smell
Each petal closed wanting to bloom and swell

Years has passed since the very same day
She agreed and said yes for a date
Same cafeteria, they chose and sat to stay
Old familiar faces laughing on the queue

Her short hair before, now healthier longer
Her heart shaped face, accented with colors
Her full soft lips, a delicious bright pink
Her eyes, before shy anew with confidence

How could I ever forget such radiance
How could I not want for more and more
Leaving me in awe, catching my breath
Digging in to my thoughts and feelings

With these, led me to woo and win her
With these, it inspired and moved me to her
Bearing my prayers that God will bless me
And God has been good and great
For this same day, she
agreed for marriage

I Knew Someone Who Wanted to End It All

I Knew Someone Who Was Ready to “End It All!” I knew of someone who just wanted “to end it.” Giving up on life, and did not want to “defend it.” It was a heart wrenching and difficult situation. He said what he wanted to, with no explanation! I could see his face and the sad look in his eyes! What he was going to do next, was anyone’s surprise. He turned to drugs and encountered addictions. With this brought much disease and afflictions! He gave up on the wonderful family that was given. And turned to a pretty wild and crazy way of livin’! I told him about a God who loves him very deeply. As he listened, he began to grow restless and weary. I reached for his hand and began to pray for God’s power! It was a miracle! The blood of Jesus changed him that hour! The spirit of God brought healing and hope to his body! He was so excited! He rushed out to tell everybody! The “end” that he wanted, seemed to just fade away! For the son of the living God, changed him this day! The glory of God, and the power of Jesus’ resurrection… Changed him! And got him going in a NEW direction! He’s so thankful for the blood of Christ’ atonement! And is a different person now, because of that moment! This same Jesus loves and can do the same for YOU! Through the problems of life… He will see you through! By Jim Pemberton

Words of Love

She reached her hand across their marriage bed --
It’d been a stand-off for so many years;
She prayed their love had not grown cold and dead;
His answer could allay her deepest fear:
The love for him she held in unshed tears.
She feared that they had lost the life they shared,
A life of which he once had spoke with cheer;
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

He turned to her as though to speak, instead
He turned away to face the wall most near;
Her hand still out, the tears so long unshed
Fell from her eyes, uncertainty made clear:
The hope that lay inside now faded here.
Her heart was pierced, her need for him was bared;
She felt the pain as knives, so sharp and sheer;
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

For love to bloom, then know it must be fed,
And heed these words, your heart upon them wear,
For marriage needs much more than daily bread:
Think not that words of love are not held dear,
For hearts will break when words to silence veer.
She lay upon her marriage, boned and pared,
She prayed he’d speak the words she longed to hear;
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

I Am Woman

I am Woman.
I am domesticated woman constantly dusting off cobwebs of infidelity.
Tears pace down my cheeks but no, I'm fine.
It's merely thick dusty layers of despondency.

Through scorching barren deserts she walks wither soles leather, face wrinkled, skin creased, smile inverted, eyes downturned with not a single drop in sight like the desert she walks through.
Her only condolence is knowing uba uspho lwakhe lume ngaye, inhliziyo yakhe iethe-ethe ebeleke usana lwakhe emqolo.
I am not privileged enough to call myself womankuba andikayazi inhlungu yobayintwakazi, umzali ne gqhiyazan.

You see, the mercilessness of memory takes her back to the day of the night she cried herself to sleep,
Hoping everything would turn out right,
But all she had to show for it came morning was nothing but a bloodstained pillow which she hung on the washing line.
I am woman

You are phenomenal woman.
The clod steel claws of unkindness ripped her heart out
Ngosuku awathy ndlela'nhle kuyise wosapho lwakhe.
All her creased hands cling onto at night is hope,
Please deliver her for her heart is too dainty.

Qina gqiyazana, qina nwakazi ngoba inyembezi zegqiyazana aziweli phantsi.
You,
Beautiful woman with your barren soul,
Are phenomenal woman.

Forced to caricature, no more no less
Numbed and swinish, departed and grey
With a fractured heart, slack and lifeless

Though I wandered harshly; looking but locked
And twice pulled sparing arrows from my chest
A true golden beauty leaned in and knocked
Some sense into my head; my God I’m blessed

I look at my life here and now with you
And I find life in bloom all around me
A garden of growth filed with soft and new
Fruits and flowers beside the Sacred Tree

The pieces of my heart, your touch restores
And the key to my love, forever yours

THE HUSBAND'S FAVORITE POSITION

Hubby, your dearly loved position?

Kneeling...

WISDOM FROM PAIN

To her beauty I am mesmerized
To her heart I am magnetized
Her reply of YES my heaven surprise
My being her HUSBAND my grand prize

Early years, bed of roses, we shared
Commitment of marriage, a fair square
Among all flavors, she's the best kind
But comes one new, I falter - got blind
To the new, I lustfully taste and twine

My wife forgotten,
Dropping her behind
Rain of tears fell
As she, I quell
D I V O R C E she dispel
Wakening me from the spell
As one by one all repels

To my knees, I knelt
Forgive me, I beg to tell
In the test of times, I didn't pass
Herculean strength fail to last
To a Delilah's lure I sinned vast

Wish I have never stop wooing her
As much as I protected her and so to my heart,
To like anyone but to love her - ONLY HER
To her best and worst I should have stayed
Not running... Reasoning my getaway
I should have her feel she's cherished
Allowing her holistically to flourish
Instead of tasting one new flavor
I should have been creative to devour her
Consume and penetrate her deeper
Letting her mind be blown or melt to her softness
Avoiding any pretense, instead must have allowed her
I must have opened myself to her
As she is my other half, my wife
I must have not chosen to cheat on her
Instead only to love her more and more

HARD but too late...
so so... so hard but too late...
Divorce papers on hot plate
The only woman I love most
I hurt and totally lost
The epic lover I was once
Now just an epitaph of woes

Hence, to all husbands
Learn wisdom from my pain

Last Goodbye

Pages of my life turn by
Pictures in my mind survive
Memories in my heart flow
The chapters with you are closed

Children all grown with children of their own
Houses from small to big to small were home
Living was filled with laughter and tears
Days passed so quickly into years

God Bless the day I first met you
With one look I always knew
You were the one I loved, you were made for me
Now I am left with our precious memories

Those days when bills went unpaid
But somehow we always managed to save
That old Chevy that had to last one more year
Our first home our first child erased all our fears

We had each other and we were strong
Together we thrived, life was our song
I stand by your grave with misty eyes
I close our book with my last goodbye.

Journey to Unwind

Written September 28, 2013

On a winter's day
On a chilly morn'
I'll be mourning
The loss of a love once lost
The loss of a love once buried in the frost
At the behest of an angel
She'll come around at last
When the dinner bell rings
We'll walk along and sing
Songs of ancient writings
Found written on the walls
Of spiritual surroundings
Dancing in my mind
Swinging to the pendulum of time
To make her what was mine
Before the sound came crashing down
Like chandeliers of persistence
Glistening brightly in reflections
Of crystal on the table
Clinging glasses to a toast
For lovers entangled evermore
On majestic misty mountains
Where snow cascades down the countryside
Until it's reached the ocean floor
Where salmon swim upstream
To the tune of our dreams
While embryonic journeys
Pass through the corded ever after
To dream of light and day
While the children beat their drums
To the tambourine in time
While the father's watch unwinds
And the son is in the closet
Strumming songs with Jane
While the mother presses cotton
The daughter recites her magnum opus
To animals in repose
Upon her bedroom floor
She speaks in tongues long gone
Like a kiss from a rose
And then she's gone
To dream with the ancients until dawn

MORE BEAUTIFUL

We met
Fell in love
Got married

The time passed
Three decades already
Had children
They grew up
They left

Now we alone
Much older, much wiser

The bodily beauty vanished
Hair got gray, then turned white
Wrinkles appeared
Some pounds were added

But

When I look at you, my love,
And think of what we have been through:
The joys
The pains,
The agonies,
The comforts

Then

My heart finds you more beautiful than
Ever before

Cause

You were my companion
My comrade
My friend
My wife

You never left my side, no matter what
You shared everything with me, good or bad

You were the reason that my life’s trip was
Complete
You were the reason that all my dreams came
True
You the reason that my heart was filled with
Happiness
You the reason that my soul’s eyes have seen
Beauty,
The real beauty of life:
YOU!

Seeds of love

She planted seeds of love deep in my heart
that flourished and bloomed like a flower
nourished with tender care
and summer love
with soft warm kisses
that rained down on me
like a welcome refreshing
invigorating shower.

Dream

My life passes me by day by day
Hoping that one day it could change
Then I soon glance at something with such beauty
It was an angel in which I seek

The look in such eyes soon makes me realize
Just how wonderful life could be
When one day you are holding hands with me
At night when you feel the cold air breeze
I will hold you in my arms so peacefully

The warmth of a goddess in the one I love
Makes me feel like I am soaring in the skies above
Glancing at those soft tender lips
Closing in closer so we can share such a passionate kiss

I could wish for nothing more
Your presence is all that I was searching for
Such an image could not be
For me to soon realize that it was just a dream
When I awake I will finally know
How life would be in the real world
Will time come and pass me by
Will I ever be able to find true love before I die
Soon I realize that I am standing under the wedding bells
Where my angel and I are exchanging our sacred vows.

Vows

I take you to be the love of my life,
To have and to hold and to hit and to crush
For better and for worse when worse is unspeakable
For richer, for poorer when money is spent on drugs and booze and porn
And there is not enough money left for groceries and school clothes.
In sickness and in health when I have to sneak to buy medication
and you call in sick to go to the race.
From this day forward because I have no place to go.
The shelters are full. No room in the inn.
I'm not serious, they say, because I did not call the police
When you choked me last night.
Instead I hid, huddled in the closet behind the locked door,
Holding my baby and praying that she would not be next.
Until death do us part because I have tried to leave
So many times and you drag me back.
Love bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures all things.
Love never ends.
Love never ends.
Love never ends.

Lovely were Those Days

I dream of lovely days,
The day I met you,
The chat we had, the love we shared
Jubilant were those ways.

The moment you called me up,
Delicious was the tea,in my cup
Terrified were I, shocked and shiver,
Rattled with the waves of happy river.

We talked night and the day,
So much to talk, so new to know,
Sitting by the beach or the bay,
Cuddling by the chilling snow.

Un Uncontrolled Passion And Unquenchable Desire

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An Uncontrolled Passion and Unquenchable desire!

An uncontrolled Passion and unquenchable desire,
Will lead your soul to an
uncontrollable fire!

This will lead to an unquenchable flame.
Things in your life will never again
be the same!

The passions and urges that led you down this path.
Will not spare your soul from Satan's awful wrath.

He will not spare you of what your longs to have.
No matter what you hold on to.
No matter what you grab!

All the counseling in the world could never take away.
The sin you have in your heart.
No matter what others say!

The uncontrollable urges that seem to burn from within.
Are now causing you grief,
in your life, once again!

The only power that can cleanse and wash you clean...
Is the blood of Jesus! He is God!
 And can do ANYTHING!

Won't you seek his help? Won't you reach out
and take his hand?
Everything you're gong through...
He already understands!

Whatever you're holding on to.
Whatever person you may be...
Only the blood and power of Jesus
can totally set you FREE!

Please come Lord Jesus and restore
our lives with your grace!
It's only in you, dear Jesus,
that we have a "resting place."

Thank you Jesus for helping us to receive
fulfillment inside.
By your love and forgivenss...
There's nothing more to hide!

What's Happening to Marriages Today

What’s Happening to Marriages Today?

I was listening to someone just the other day…
And I couldn’t believe what he had to say!

He had left his wife and children for another!
She was young enough to be his daughter!

Here they were, “in love” and holding hands!
Hoping to soon, get their “wedding bands!”

They were pretending that this was so “cool.”
Living now by their own “set of rules!”

How sick and disgusting this is getting to be!
Is this something that many can’t see?

God gave us Adam and Eve to become one.
To bear fruit through daughters and sons!

He gave us marriage as holy vows are made.
Not to march in an “adulterous parade!”

We are treading on very dangerous ground!
Faithfulness and commitment
are scarcely found!

The very definition of marriage is changing!
As the family unit is always rearranging!

Our only hope is in Jesus! And him alone!
Let’s promote his love! Into our hearts and home!

Let’s allow his love to be our heart’s glue!
And bring new meaning to the words; “I love you!”

May his love bind our hearts and lives together!
And remain faithful to each other forever!

Two be or not - Contest Charles Haig Wood

The scene is set
Within a sumptuous drawing room
The play is re-enacted

Father listen's to his daughters  pleas
Please say "yes " she pleads
Sister sits distraught,  hands upon her knees.
Alfred had been gardening, planting his seeds

"I love him" Beth tells her Tad,
We want to be together so,
Please let me accept his proposal,
We've been a naughty two.

A baby is forthcoming
a marriage must be near.
Shows that even in the gentries homes
these sort of things occur.

The sister Mary  looks so pale
Her story soon to be revealed
Thinking Alfred loved her
She also finds herself with child

Listening to the sordid tale
A decision  must be made
"You may marry him" tad told Beth
To his daughter Mary he said the same.

True Love Can't Be Made, Bought or Traded

Many call making love, from a physical reaction. As many try to find a loving satisfaction! True love can’t be bought, paid, or traded This is something that shouldn’t be debated! True love is from God, and freely given! His love can change the way you’re livin’! Only God’s love can cleanse the heart from sin! And bring true satisfaction deep within! If it’s “cheap love,” you seek… You can find it! But you’ll end up empty, hurt and blinded! If it’s true love you want. Look no more! Jesus is here... Knocking at your heart’s door! Won’t you let him in? And let his love touch you? He wants to do this. Because he really loves you! He loves you so much, he bled and died! In him, you can be made whole and sanctified! Won’t you accept the love he freely gives? It will bless you each day that you live! By Jim Pemberton

I Just Found Out The Meaning

I just found out the meaning to my bachelorhood.
Now, it's clear to me that those experiences I had earlier are lovelorn.
I've just found the reciprocal affection
I have been struggling for all these years in courtship.

I just realize I have found the right woman for my unborn generations.
I've just found the true companion I can confide in at all time.
I found love at last in this angel who now means the world to me.
God! Thank you to have sent her to me on time,
And not until the beauties in her has faded like tainted rose.

My prayer now is that God shouldn't let me lose someone
Like her that would be very hard to replace.
And I as well pray not to find any course (at a later time) to regret or curse the day we met.
I've just found out she needs white roses; she is a virgin.

Halfway There

You and I, Love, are halfway there.
Each content with what we've found--
In spite of kids and strife,
And struggles with mid-life,
We've had the good sense to stick around.
Both looking forward, walking together,
Ever onward, hopefully forever.
Yes, you and I, Love, are halfway there.

YOU and I, LORD, are halfway there.
Each day I'm heading towards home.
In spite of sins committed,
And/or good deeds omitted,
YOU've never left me all alone.
YOU encourage me to do what's right,
Foresaking darkness to seek the light.
Yes, YOU and I, LORD, are halfway there.

We married with complete conviction

That I said -Yes I Do-

Just Because I Said I do

From her words I put out this,
Both in her words her wish is scoop:
“Whatever I do, this I, worth a note”
-She said she needs answers.
For nag I will not play the part,
But for proofs, I will play my part:
I will call you to order as your hobby,
Cos, two wrongs can never make a right.

This love, my lady, is all about understanding.
Though, you are pretty but lack comprehending-
You easily get abnormally obsess, and “let me help”,
You would totally ignore.
Another thing that baffles me about you,
Is the apathy in your pitch and words;
While I word pithy all through for you.
Your love you love throwing in the air,
Especially when you are annoyingly possessed
By things and actions not going your way.

I pity, the why I write
Cos never my strength and personality
To talk behind your back.
A piece of advice to “I want love to remain”-
Reshape, rebrand, reflect, and revive.
For nag I won’t play the part
But for proofs, I’ll play my part.
Your love you love throwing in the air,
Especially when you are annoyingly possessed
By things and actions not going your way.

Love Unique

Just married…..

The suns in dropping, the drapes are drawn.
The table is set, candles burn on.
Anxiously she waits, for her handsome prince.
Sitting on the curb, excited and tense!
She gazes, at the apartment’s entry.
She dreams of their life, and love of plenty.
As he approaches this grand estate:
In his sight, is his sexy soul mate!
Raptured by her astonishing beauty:
His kiss of love, comes not by duty!

Raising children…

The laundry is piled, mountain high.
Kids are fighting, and suppers nigh.
Grocery shopping was put on hold.
Oh’ this routine, is getting real old!
Tired and dirty, he walks through the door.
Stepping on toys that are left on the floor!
He says; “honey I’m home, what’s for dinner?
I sure am hungry; I hope it’s a winner”!
She glares at him, as if in disgust.
Let’s take out, because tonight I’m crushed!

Back to two…..

Kids are now grown, and fear sets in.
Where is that girl, and boy of then?
She’s striving hard, to break her mold.
In her writings, her heart is told!
After toiling, yet another day:
Honey, I’m home, he just can’t say!
Totally burned out, and just ready to doze:
A life of fishing, he does quickly propose!
Gently her lips caress his cheek.
Then fear does vanish, love unique!

To be continued (God Willing)....

the Human Seasons: Elements At War and Peace, Part IV

                                                                 4.

Each dawn, the cold steps back a pace,
And in the lengthening light the tender green steals up
Through the retreating ice and snow
As the lands rise fresh and free from the deathlike sleep again,
To play the full young mother dressed out in life itself,
Strolling through the warming, waxing sun.

Growth and generation give the lie
To the empty time so short before
Everything renewed proclaims its exoneration from stasis
And beauty runs riot, freed from its long waiting
To declare its immortality again.

And for he and she love grows anew
In the hopes reborn in the spring's thaw
The heart's slow healing gathers force with the blooming
As they pull the threads of their lives back together,
Sewing them closer with trust and forgiveness,
Going on again in the thousand-odd ways
That make a single life of two.

Love trumpets again its smug triumph
Through the wakening world,
For it too is one of the old, strong forces,
The one that holds together what would fain break itself apart
To its own rack and ruin;
The ultimate surgeon,
Healing with slow steely cuts
Cauterizing the strangely sweet wells of pain
With unquenchable fire
That burns,
Promethean.

My wife

My wife.

She closed her eyes as I kissed her once more
A sweet tender kiss between two lovers, one soul.

My heart fluttered to the touch of her lips,
Two minds tuned together to a song we’ve missed.

A song we wrote together in moonless night
Two people together passionately in love.

That was many years ago too young to realize
So many obstacles lay ahead in the path of love.

Thirty three years passed like a gleam, and
Three beautiful boys became our joy and dream.

I HAVE A DREAM

i dreamt for awhile
im walking down the aisle
with eyes watching alongside
as they look at me as the bride

their eyes spark in admiration
breath and a moment in cessation
i walk in slow motion
feeling each step in exultation

holding my bouquet of white roses
my face beaming senses
of pride; of nervousness; of joy
as this my day: MY DAY

nearing at the end
a man offering his hand
a dust of magic wand
that, finally we'll be one

i am his..
he is mine..
we will say our vows..
not later but of now..

ill look deep to his eyes
he will see nothing but love...
we will share our first kiss
the time will seize..

Sometimes I Like To Pretend Things Never Came To A End

Sometimes I like to pretend, things never came to a end. But over time, our love became a crime. I didn't know what we had, would ever end so bad. But then I knew things weren't right, when we started to fight. Now I walk down memory lane all the time, the pain is worst then committing a crime. We only caused eachother pain, but we were eachothers maine. I thought things would be alright, but I cried alot that night. I don't want things to change, without you my life is strange. You said you wanted me so much it started to hurt that you couldn't wait, now im just another person you hate. When you said you didn't care, I knew the person I loved was no longer there. You aren't the same, the new you is lame. We both fell, now it's hell. You use to always be here for me, like family. But now your nowhere in sight, things aren't right. Empty is all that I can feel, I still can't believe this is real. I didn't mean to let you get away, I didn't know what to say. Am i with the right guy, or am i telling myself a lie. I was afraid to loose what we had, but to you that choice was bad.

There Was A Woman Alone And Afraid

There was a woman,
alone and afraid...
Her husband left her…
She felt betrayed!

I remember seeing her look
of despair…
Was there anyone who
really cared?

This was a very
 difficult situation.
A lot of heartache and frustration!

I remember seeing her
 at church before.
But no one sees her anymore!

People would pass her by,
Seemingly, not concerned…
Even though things in her life,
had taken “the wrong turn.”

Aren’t we to help the widows
 and single mothers too?
This is what God’s word
asks of me and you!

As the body of Christ...
We should serve one another.
Reaching out to the widow
 and single mother.

We must let them know they’re
not forgotten!
Before their lives hit
“rock bottom”

This is a command Christ
Wants us to do!
He’d do the same for
ME and for YOU!

Divorce Isn't Always the Best Choice

Divorce Isn’t Always A Good Choice! I met a person who’s been married for many years. When he talked to me, he was in tears! He was faced with the option of divorce! And now, he feels his life is driven “off course.” His wife said she’s through. She’s “all done.” And doing things which seemed “fun.” Beyond each day and the circumstance… Does this marriage even “have a chance?” Why do people seem happier when they’re apart? Far too often, this ends up in a broken heart! Too often, people “give up” on what they believe! But it’s so many lies, is what they receive! I spoke to this person, of God’s purpose and meaning! Into God’s loving arms, is where he needs to be leaning! When life changes, and marriage seems to have failed you… Jesus is here! And wants to put his arms around you! There’s hope and answers to all of your problems! You’ll find the answer in God’s word! HE can solve them! The best choice for you is to come and trust HIM! Give Jesus your life! Come now and love HIM! All he needs is for you to give him an invitation! He’ll change you! And make you a new creation! His love can do what no other power can ever do! He’ll bring new meaning in the words; “I LOVE YOU!” By Jim Pemberton

He Wants a Boy

She tries to weed
out his doubts,
but he cannot heed.

He demands a baby boy,
yet she is not a goddess
to change their baby's sex.

She tells him that if there
was a certain way people made love
to get baby boys, or
if she had the psychic abilities of choosing
a sperm that that would fertilize
her ova into a male zygote,
she would be glad to give him one.

Count First -- Three Lines Ae Fine contest

Count First

So you're too cool to finish up high school.
consider that no one will hire a fool.
Count first.

You might be fine with selling fries and burgers.
Take some classes, sell some bigger orders.
Count first.

Before you cut along the penciled line,
Get out your ruler, measure one more time--
Count first.

Before you cook your specialty times three
Make an ingredients inventory.
Count first.

You won't impress that pretty girl so fine
If you can't pay the bill for wine and dine.
Count first.

Before you finally pop the question,
Give her an honest evaluation.
Count first.

If you want a newly-wed apartment,
Think smaller--there is a big down payment.
Count first.

You covet a car with high performance.
Can you even afford car insurance?
Count first

Before buying a new high-tech gadget,
Is there enough in the household budget?
Count first.

When maneuvers are in the planning stage,
Before you commit to a shell barrage.
Count first.

Before overdoing your Santa Clause,
Can you pay the rent? Read the fine print clause..
Count first.

Before you walk up to the Pearly Gates,
What's on your conscience--ask before too late.
Count first.

A New Life

We thought that moving to a place
with springs, grass-field and butterflies
would make it better for us, but it was all vanity;
like in the city when we were complaining about overdue bills,
traffic, noise and lack of privacy,
we are now polluting this serene place
with our petty fights - you now complain about
poor roads, smelly poultry houses, dust-infested air,
and extreme silence.

If it is possible to move to heaven right now,
I think God would kick us back to this blue ball……..

Honey, I think it’s time that we change our attitude
towards each other, and rekindle our passionate love,
rather than moving from one place to another.....

NOTHING BUT HAPPINESS

my heart sings and swells with so much joy..
for finally, my sister meets her one and only "BOY"..
God truly works in mysterious wonderful ways..
leaving us mouth open wide, nothing to say..

reminiscing the days as we talk and shared jokes..
almost always we sometimes poke..
as we see, compare ourselves with others..
late in our twenties, "BEING MARRIED" we are after...

Named as the "SINGLE LADIES"..
WE DON'T CARE, we said to our daddy..
we are waiting on steady..
we don't wanna be hurry, go heady...

he will find us soon, healing all wounds..
each waiting period is fine, as love fills done..

The Human Seasons: Elements At War and Peace, Part III

                                                                  3.

Wrapped close, in implacable, bitter embrace,
The winter grips the land and holds it immobile,
The cat upon its mouse.

Stripped bare and glazed with stony ice
Ashudder beneath a slatecloud sky
That drops its snow in a hush of crowding dimness,
A white leaden mantle
Is lain over empty fields, piling 'round the trunks of skeletal trees
Standing soberly and waving their bony branches in the frozen air
The twilight days light a world now comatose,
Drawn in against the cold and huddled like
Some invalid giant shorn of all his strength,
Lying stretched half slain across the firmament
Gazing into nothing with a distant blank stare
As scattered carrion birds wheel against a wan canvas,
Waiting.

Those two in their little house circle 'round as well,
Moving without purpose through the events of their lives
As the cold outside seeps into the rooms
Invading their thoughts
To make them tremble
Shaken in the blindness of their desperation,
And though the fire blazes orange-warm in the hearth,
Defending this inside space from the day's deep gloom,
Autumnal sorrows have collected in the silence
And worn their hearts weary with cares,
And thus the spirit's wounds have festered and widened,
Filling with the poison of despair.

Soft sparks the glow of the fire makes in his tired eyes,
Reflecting wild fears that her love is lost;
They dance in his mind, stabbing with a pain
That knows no cure.

Long the time he just looks at her,
This life that chose to be with him always,
And he sees that
Whatever
The hurt that came between,
He cannot bear that she leave him
Condemned to go on without her,
Alone.

Her thoughts for him are much the same,
Though she says it not.
Yet when at last he reaches out across the table
And takes her hand in his,
She looks up, and for one long moment
They two become the lone human pair
In all of space and time,
And in one another's moist crystalline gaze
They read a deep sweet tale
In a language without words.

          Something melts,
                                       And something breaks

In that moment when she gently folds
Her delicate fingers over his,
Looking down again with a schoolgirl smile
Spreading irresistable over her face.

Outside, in the blackness of the star-shot night,
Ice cracks
And waters run clear beneath the snow.

An Adulterous Situation

An Adulterous Situation I knew of a couple, involved in an adulterous situation. A person involved, claimed that he was a Christian! He told others that he wanted to tell her about the Lord… But this involvement in sin, he couldn’t well “afford!” A “casual” encounter led to the marriage’s destruction. Her husband was so hurt, he could hardly “function.” How could this man think there’s “nothing wrong with it.” “It must be fine.” He thought. “everyone’s doing it!” Jesus has come, that we might have freedom from within! Going to church, doesn’t give us a “license to sin!” God gave us marriage, as a holy and divine covenant! He gave us his word, so that our lives can be abundant! May this be a stern warning to one and all! That which may look attractive, will cause us to fall! If there’s something more from marriage that you desire… Be careful! Your deep passions will burn like a fire! May I encourage you to pray and seek the Lord above! And ask him to build your marriage on his love! Only he can restore everything the enemy has taken! He’ll be with you, when you may feel totally forsaken! Adultery is like a cancer cell… That will eventually destroy! It’ll rob you of the many blessings, that God wants you to enjoy! What God has joined as one... May there be no separation! But a heart of unselfishness, and a renewed dedication! By Jim Pemberton

Passion in D-Major

Passion in D-Major

Feeling, the sensuous brush-
strokes on a canvas,

swirling,

to a symphonic crescendo,

of our shared heartbeats,

fading between the notes,

feeling your soft body entwined
with mine,

your form bathed in my infinite
kisses,

our orchestral desire rising,

conducting a shared fusing of
passion,

... the music echoing ...

over the precipice,

on the brink of dazzling rainbow
hues,

lost in the void,
of an eternal instant,

plunging through the depths of
rhyme,

pleading,
forever pleading,

for a prolonged,

bouquet of shared time.

Still In Love With My Wife

Still In Love With My Wife...

My son came to me with
a question on his mind.
I said; “Not now son—
I just don't have the time.”
He said, “Daddy—are you still
in love with Mommy?”
“Do you love her like you did when
I was in her tummy?”

My eyes choked with tears;
“Yes son I really do!”
“I'm in love with her...
and I appreciate you.”
“Daddy—will you always love
me like you do mom?”
“Yes my son—my love for you
will always belong.”

I looked down and much to my surprise.
There were tears running
down my son's eyes.
He came running to me with arms wide open.
“Thank you daddy” were his words spoken.
I picked him up and gave
him a great big hug.
As I let him down, on my shirt I felt a tug.

His little arm reached up to grab my hand.
I knew that what I said,
he began to understand.
I love his mom so much—my wonderful wife.
She's been such a blessing-
a great part of my life!

Lets Talk about Love

Lets talk about love

Love is meant to be an opportunity
To share a place in time,
And an open heart for a person,
That God has designed, just for you.
Love is to be our now,
Our everlasting and our happily forever after.
Love is to be the juxtaposition of two,
Moving through a life as the embodiment of one.
Love is to be a place,
That you are never unsure of,
And your hearts most intimate prayer.

Love is offering your breath
So that who holds your heart can breathe.
Love is when that someone
Brings the best in you, out of you.
Love is a wanting and needing,
To be better than you ever were, or could be
For love demands no less.
Love is living with a fire in your belly,
That is fueled by knowing who you pledged yourself to.
Love is synchronized heart beats, rhythmic breathing
And love is a complete thought, of two independent views.

Love is a strong, never weak or timid.
Love is a smile that means everything
To that person who safe guards your heart
And nothing, to anyone else.
Love is a story of a blissful journey,
In and out of the conduits of time.
Where that person, your person is as beautiful as the first day.

Love is rescuing a lonely heart
And a promise to have and to hold till time is no more.
Love to exist within and beyond the memories of a lifetime.
It is being committed beyond the challenges,
Making whole beyond any and all pain.
And love is the dance that you never want to end.

What has happened?
What has love become?
Love today is not as it was created,
It has become an amalgamation of gray areas
Buffered by few sunny days, but much more dark nights.
L-O-V-E a four-letter word
Which now stands for very little and demonstrates even less.

Love is rewritten to mean a collection of vengeful thoughts,
Baby mama and baby daddy drama,
Meddling voices adding poison to the mix,
Who then run for cover after the damage is done?
Claiming to have washed their hands,
Cause them nah get in big people business.
Love is today ungrateful, cruel, secretive and oppressive;
It holds grudges and is unforgiving.
Love is about what ‘s convenient,
A means to an end,
A stepladder to fulfilling a master plan.

Haven’t you seen the play…
The actors present nicely in public,
The performance is a collection of rehearsed scenes,
Where the emotional spears that tore each other’s flesh from bones
Are put away during the intermission,
And the veil of lovingness is presented,
But don’t dear peek behind the veil,
For a stranger might see the reality that has been so cleverly hidden.
Love now is a listing of what was,
What could have been?
What it use to be like.
True love, God meaning love,
Is now a fairytale passed down from a long since dead generation.

Love is sleeping with an enemy
You surrendered your single life to,
A person who you willingly said I Do to,
Thinking they will keep you focused, slow you down
Be by your side; help you conquer the world,
And be the foundation on which,
The very best version of you always wins.
Maybe this is just a view from a past dream,
That love has become a life now,
That only death offers an escape from.

In the beginning there was Love and it was GOOD.
Love is a design of a majestic entity,
Who took the time to form and shape us is His image,
He us gave a world, He gave us our very existence and He has sustained us ever since.
All that He has done and is doing is Love.

All that we do and are doing
Is hawking up the bile in the pit of our stomachs
And spitting in the face of God himself.
At the institution of Love, He so carefully crafted.
He gave us a guidebook, His word
On how to love each other, On how to treat each other,
But we choose instead to say, I know better than you God
And I will do it my way…..so how is love today working out?

Congrats: A Wedding Greeting

Gat not much to say
But that all will pay
Both hubby and wifey
In the life race that
is pacey.

Dream not again
For the reality is
now a rain
Very cold to the skin
Shredding the
thickest cover to the
thin.

Together you are
now
Forever and ever,
so take a bow!
From us all
And walk with heads
tall!

Barakah and Sakinah
I see
Flowing with you in a
sea
Swim and dwell in it
And felicitate forever
with it!

Happy Married life!
A life free from strife!

Sweet Memories

I have sweet memories;memories of you.

Texture of your silk dress reminds me of the first
date that we had together. Scent of your favorite
perfume reminds me of the texture of your skin,
and the flame that we made on the bed. The space
in the house reminds me of how we chased each other
around the living room, and competed to make the best
pancakes in the kitchen.

Though you are gone,
I have sweet memories; memories of you.

Fresh and clean

I love the way she smells after a shower
so fragrant fresh and clean
and how she sits there
so beautiful
in her dressing gown
brushing her long wet hair
until it dry's and gleams.

Her sweet perfume fills the room
and sets my heart on fire
heightening my senses
and filling me with desire.

LIFELINE

Defibrillator, I have to set..
Cardiac monitor, I need to attached..
Intravenous lines, workingly patent..
Emergency drugs, positioned on standby...

His color turning to pale then bluish..
His breathing starts to become shallow..
His limbs become to loose and cold..
His pulse thready and weak..

On high alert!
On high alert!
Is it the end of his life?
Or is already the beginning of his death?

the tides are rising

My heart is heavy from the waiting.
Lonely from sitting in silence
with nothing but my own inadequacies
to balm the wounds time festers.

Patiently abiding the time of recognition
when fate bows down and bestows a grace
sacrificing these tribulations for the mercy of love,
I wait for the coming of salvation
the benediction of true loves embrace.

The tides are rising-
and the binding on my soul is strong
am I to die a martyr?
With imminent despair I implore
come home and untie me...

God's Plan for Marriage

There’s a truth that remains since
the beginning of time.
God created man and woman,
 with marriage in mind.

From the dust of the ground,
Adam was formed.
From his side came Eve. A new life was “born!”

God’s design for marriage became
very evident and clear…
If not for Adam and Eve,
none of us would be here!

Marriage is a blessing from God.
A gift from God above.
A man and a woman come together
as an expression of their love.

Anything different than one man
and woman is perverted.
This is a lie from our culture that
 is trying to be “inserted.”

God gave us all a natural love
with a strong ambition.
To come as a husband and wife
is a God given intention!

Read from the books of Genesis
 thru Revelation…
God’s idea of marriage is
 for any person or nation.

Many can try to change what God
 has already designed.
It’s no wonder why so many have
“confused” minds.

Let’s come back to God and
 trust him with our life!
The one who set up marriage as;
“one husband and one wife!”

What If Joseph Kissed Potiphar's Wife

What If Joseph Kissed Potiphar’s Wife?

What would happen if Joseph kissed Potiphar’s wife?
Just think about the impact this would be on his life!

If he’d entered into her temptation and charm…
This would’ve cause much damage and harm!

Many of God’s blessings, I’m sure he would missed ‘em!
If he’s let Potiphar’s wife reach out and kiss him!

Thank God that he didn’t succumb to her beauty.
He held fast and remembered his God given duty!

A life serving God was something that he chose!
Even if it meant her tearing off a part of his clothes!

Godly living was something he decided to choose!
Even if it meant him being falsely accused!

God used him while he spent time in prison!
He trusted God, and knew that he was with him!

I’m sure there were things that he didn’t understand.
But soon, God made him the #2 ruler in the land!

May this be a stern warning to me and to all!
Think about what temptation may cause you to fall!

Scripture says “resist the devil and he will flee from you!”
Run to God! And allow his presence
 to surround you!

This society often encourages to “indulge” in sexual sin!
This is where so much heartache and misery begins!

Run to the Lord! Seek his spirit to lead and guide you!
A way to escape temptation, he’ll provide for you!

Like Joseph, run from temptation as fast as you can run!
And lay everything at the feet of God’s precious son!

His love will sustain you! Regardless of what you’re “missing.”
So you too can receive HIS love
 and Godly blessings!

Your Wishing Well of Hope

Its been three years since we've met
two years since we started sharing a bed
and one year since we haven't been
fighting on what could have been.
wishing you'd give up her hand
hoping you'd see your kids again.
For three years I have listened
you cry over your past
hoping to guide you forward
to a better path
I've smiled to people
I didn't want to serve
just to make the rent
I've taken orders from the rudest soul
bit my tongue and begged
not to spare the tip
at home is a hungry man
I've loved you from the start you see
I cannot escape what you've done to me
you've made me smile, shared many laughs
heard me cry, carried me though
the darkest times I've been with you…
but secretly there is another side
the one I try, but lately can't hide…
the one who's secretly been waiting
hoping you would pull through
three years later, and I'm still wishing on you
the lady I smiled at before
is starting to make me angry
I can no longer work for her measly tip
of pennies.
Take me away like you said you would
help me live the life I thought we could
there is only so much love can do
when in many ways there isn't two…
and I'm still looking to count on you
but my pockets are low on pennines
and there are no more left to throw
down your wishing well of hope.

Did You Ever Really Know

The minutes lunge forward,
the days plunge fast.
Months slip by so quickly,
many years define our past.
Will you remember me?

Soft skin turns a blemish,
tiny wrinkles begin to show.
Our youth violently perishing,
did you recognize or even know?
Will you remember us?

Health, wealth and wagers,
placing all bets on love alone.
With stakes too high to squander,
this constant fear of the unknown.
Will I ever reach you?

Admiration, honor and devotion,
always seems to come in last.
Guilt, fear and destruction,
destroying the finish line fast.
Will you ever put me first?

Be joyful, happy and merry,
how do I find the will to be so?
While years have gone,
and our lives moved on,
an empty void will forever grow.
Did you ever really know?

I married my sister

My marriage ended when I learned that my wife is my sister.
We were married for twenty years and I sure have missed her.
When I learned that we are brother and sister, my heart sank.
Soon after I was born, Dad sold his sperm to a sperm bank.
Until last year, I had no idea that Dad had another kid.
I will never forgive him for what he did.
For years I was so happy but now I just want to die.
My perfect life was shattered and all I can do is cry.
I tried to kill myself in my car with carbon monoxide.
But my cousin found me in time and sadly I survived.
When our marriage ended, my whole world fell apart.
Now I'm doomed to always have this broken heart.
The love that my wife and I shared was as pure as a dove.
But now my life is over because I had to give up the woman who I love.

Empty Promises

before desolate
wanton misery’s

beneath deep
yawning canyons
inner darkness’

hope died
inside,

beyond distant
stark starry-eyed
earnest dreams
quiet breaths

Fifty-Seven Years Ago Today

Fifty-Seven Years Ago Today

With new dress and suit, flowers, and hair fixed just right
The dreams, plans, and labors of our lives would unite

My brother and his gal stood beside us on the spot
To give witness to the world that we tied the knot

We stood nervous before the preacher at his home
Promised to cling to each other; never to roam

Said “I do” to the questions; gave the preacher his pay
Man and wife; fifty-seven years ago today.

In Such A Happiness

In such a happiness
You resemble one in a stress
You have everyone to yourself now to say yes

You have in your accommodation the right foreign man
And you have his entire plan written
He?s at present recognized prosperous in all this clan
And you differ not effectively beaten

What is kept in that thunderous silence
That looks nevertheless a rainbow
You have a bias in speaking and letting us know
Or is it what they say in doubt you have the heat?s shyness

In such a happiness
Being given all the choices
When all said is as well an omen
And you think love is everything
You put shame on brains of the youth
To send your letter while open

When Did Loving Us Stop

When did we grow a part
Surely there can be no date assignment
Nor can a time of the hour or minute placed
When did we become selfishly alone
Preferring the singular to the plural in tone
When did loving each other take the preverbal back seat
With vain wisdom filling our hearts
When did touching excite no more
The sensations callused by prideful numbness
When did thoughtfulness tenderness and kind words
Thus exchanged for screaming hurtfulness and distraught
When did trust slip away as sand in an hour glass
Spying each other- knowing it could not last
When did honor turn into threats
Threats of self-preservation by disarmament
When did our breath die to seek servitude as one
As passion was placed into a closet – we entered the ring
When did love stop- we now needing new air
When did we die and we simply did not care

God's Definition of Marriage

God designed marriage as the real thing!
Anything less, is what a counterfeit brings!

His concept of one man and woman is very real.
He’s not interested in bowing to “man’s appeal.”

His court of justice rings very loud and clear!
The truth of his word shall NEVER disappear!

You can look in Genesis and it is found!
He created Adam from the dust of the ground!

He designed Eve from one of his ribs!
They were joined together as both lived!

He didn’t need a constitution to know “their rights.”
He gave them HIS WORD as their guiding light!

Satan has been trying to pervert what God created!
This is a truth. And need not be debated!

We have cheapened the value of the marriage institution!
And have added needless
chaos and confusion!

Through the Bible, one husband and wife are taught!
Unless you want to live in Sodom, as did Lot!

Ungodly perversions take many forms and kinds.
And it soon piles up garbage into our minds!

“What God has put together.”
 “Let no man put asunder.!”
Many ideas of “marriage,” is a total blunder!

One man and one woman is what God ordained in Eden.
It was Adam and Eve.
Not Adam and Steven!

The choices in life are yours! And yours alone!
Who is going to be the Lord, of your heart and home?

'Til the day

Where have you been all my life
I kept on waiting 'till you passed by
I wonder how it took you for so long
To notice that I've been here all along

We managed to vent both our feelings
But it seems our fate is very deceiving
Why would they put us world apart
And let us make a brand new start

Hope is always our line to cling on
But we are always razed with frustration
I hope we can stand still against the time
'Till the day we both say "you are mine"

Will You Marry Me

I love the way you look when you are happy;
your teeth glowing in the moonlight, and your
laughter cheering up everything I know.

I love the way you smile;
it is the sweetest thing I have ever seen
under the Sun.

I love the way you look at me;
they have a way of inviting attention
without any speech.

I love the way you hold a child;
it is as though it is your own.

I love the way you shed tears as you watch
a soap opera; I console you with a cuddling
touch, reminding you it's just a play, and reminding
myself that I have a woman who can feel,
at the core of her soul.

I love the way you act when you are mad at me;
pushing me against the wall, and holding my
shirt as though you want to tear it; making me feel
like making love to you.

You are all I want in a wife; everything I prayed for!
Will you marry me?

God Can Heal Your Marriage

How often have you told your
wife you love her?
Only to be caught in the arms of “another…”

The vows that were made...
 The promises given.
God gives a chance for you
to be forgiven!

A husband and wife are sanctioned
 by our Lord…
But often end up in anger,
 bitterness and discord.

Jesus can mend the hurt and remove the pain.
And bring a healing to
 any guilt or shame.

He loves you with a Godly
jealousy that is evident.
Into your heart and life…
He longs to be a resident.

Won’t you allow his power
 to bring a restoration?
Before your family is heading
 toward a separation?

Let his words of hope and
 love be the glue.
And bring a new meaning to the words;
 “I LOVE YOU!”

May you be “caught up” in your
heavenly father’s embrace.
And allow his love
to put a smile on your face!

What God has joined as one.
 He can keep together.
Won’t you allow him to bless
 your marriage forever?

How John Mayer helped end and save my marriage

How John Mayer helped end and save my marriage.. S.Hudson

Our love can be summed up in a playlist of John Mayer songs,
A myriad of one liners and chorus’ overlaying the template of life,
Our “heart break warfare” led to a horrible affair,
She and another took solace in a shared love for John Mayer,
They dreamed together with “Half of my heart” playing in the distance,
“Showing me another way” ,
But a dream is all it could be, and a dream is all it was,
The “Gravity” of the situation realized,
And a husband missing all of his heart.
Two worlds pulling at the hem,
“Pain throws your heart to the ground, Love turns the whole thing around,”
It is said, we have lived together through both my wife,
And I don’t know, “If I trust myself with loving you”,
But, “I’m not the man I used to be lately”
And here we are now,
Trying to recapture this “Home life” John muses of.
“I’d love to walk where we both can talk”, I’d love to give you my all,
“Oh it’s taking so long, I could be wrong, I could be ready, Oh but if I take my hearts advice,
I should assume it’s still unsteady, I am in repair, I am in repair,”
For know we stand with our heart in the others hand, fragile, unsteady, unsure,
But oh so willing.
All I know Rhonda is, “There ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone”
“My girl she ain’t the one that I saw comin,” I “love who ya love, who ya love”
That’s YOU!
I thank you John Mayer for giving us the words and the playlists for
This roller coaster of emotion, heartbreak, passion, romance and desire,
That has been our Story line.
Keep em coming, because we still have a lifetime of Romancing and store walks ahead…

My Love Poem to my Love

Thank you for all you are
the little things that you do
for the advice that you give
and the deep love that is you

Many a time we've shared
so many memories to remember
looking back over all the years
right back to that pizza in September

In the ups and downs of our life
we always come together as one
because divinely sought and drawn
to be always looking unto God's son

I hope I have been
the very best to you
for my finest decision
was saying to you I do

So me love you
you love me
so together in love
we are set free

Bitter taste the marriage

Bitter taste the marriage

The marriage prepared to its date,
The date arrived,
In front of dozens of people,
In front of pastors and advocates,
We tie the knot,
That we are the meat of each other,
Till death do us part,
So sweet the wedding till it date,
And our honeymoon at Mauritius like honeymoon in paradise.

Welcome to the marriage,
We will be happy forever i thought,
Heh!Marriage is too bitter,
That soft smiles are now high serious,
The name honey replaced by name owl,
I missed that kiss that hit my mouth in the presence of the dozens,
I missed to be called sweetheart like it used to be,
I missed to be taken to the picnic,
I missed a sweet smss,
I missed to be lifted and put to bed,
I missed to hear my name to be called every minutes,
The foot messages,
The spoon-feeding,
The breakfast in bed,
That soft hand is a hard punch on my face,
From a soft body to a slim body i went,
When the phone rings i know he want to say he is not coming home,
When i cook he doesn’t eat sometimes,
I remember we never forced to get into marriage,
Marriage is bitter,
Sometimes i think of taking my life and...
Marriage is bitter than thought

Beyond my control

This very day, 27 years ago a little boy met a girl and thought nothing of it.
Two innocent minds, two pure souls with no crooked intentions.
We shan't lie to the world that it was love a t first sight
For we didn't know the difference between wrong and right.
For we didn't know what love is or what pain is.
We chose to be friends, yes we became best friends.
With the passing of time, moments, laughs tears we shared and Gods plans,
With the synchronizing of two heart beats that longed to beat as one.
Two souls that fed each other, two minds and two bodies that were destined for all eternity
This we could not fight, for it was destiny, for it was God’s plan.
This love was beyond my control my love.

27 years have gone by and I am still in love with you as if it were our first day.
My love is still pure and innocent just as the minds and souls of that little boy and girl.
Loving you is still not a choice, loving you is not a decision I have to make day after day.
Loving you is food to my soul, loving you is what defines me, loving you is my daily bread.
You make me whole; you make me significant, for you make me one with you.
All these years have passed and all I see changing is time and not my love for you.
Loving you my dear is beyond my control.

Without you near me I am deaf, I am blind and I cannot feel.
For my eyes see only you
For my ears only hear your sweet voice.
For my hands feel only the smoothness of your skin.
When you are away I cannot smell nor can I taste anything.
For the only scent I know is yours.
For the only lips I know are yours.
You are my connection to the outside world
For I see through your eyes and know the sour sweet taste of air with your tongue.
For I hear the sound of the wind blowing with your ears and smell through your nostrils.
For I feel through your palms and your skin.
You are me and I you. For we are one
This love I feel for you is beyond my control

You are my one and only
You are my past, my future and my present.
You are my life; you are my heaven, my gift from above.
Every day I pray to the Lord to thank him for I have you, for I have it all.
I am yours always, I am yours for eternity, I am yours even in the after life
I love you. Wish us an eternity together.
This love is beyond my control my love.

A Walk In The Garden In Moonlight Part 1 of 2

( Song of Solomon 4: 16 )

We Walked In The Garden At Midnight
We Walked Thru The Garden In Moonlight

Among Azealeas & Verbenas & Blue Jonquils
Sweet Honeysuckle, Yellow Primroses & Daffodils
Among White Phlox & Orchids & Pretty Pink Quills
Two Lovers Holding Hands In Romantic Thrill
Your Touch Grows That Budding Power Still

As We Walked In The Garden At Midnight
We Walked Thru The Garden In Moonlight

Among Tulips and Lilies and Wine-Hued Amaryllys
Intoxicating Lilacs & Jasmine & Ground-Cover Iris
Breathing In Lavender & Vanilla & Bougainvillea Scents
Wafting Heady & Sensual Yet of Shy-Perfume Strength

While Walking In The Garden At Midnight
While Walking Thru The Garden In Moonlight

A "Home Sweet Home" Brass Plaque Cast Soft Glints
By A Heartshaped Box Holding Moonflowers & Herb-Mints
Symbolizing Love's Nature The Way It Was Meant
& There Was A Touch of Citrus Somewhere, Just A Hint

Wafting From Beyond Our Closest Neighbor's Fence
Bowed To Our Queens of The Nights As Darkness Squints
and Slender Topiary Stands Crowned With Hyacinths
Guards Our Garden Where So Much Time Is Spent

Walking In The Garden At Midnight
Walking Thru The Garden In Moonlight

Our Garden, Well Tended, Cultivated Thru Till & Toil
Thorn Blooddrops & Brow-Sweat - Has Moistened Our Soil
Sprouting Tendrils & Offshoots That Loops Softly In Coils
On Our Garden's Ground - Grown So Large & Lovely & Loyal
(as More Queens of The Night & Roses Reigned Royal)

The Story Is:
We Saw The "For Sale" Sign ... & It Was Love At First Sight
For Our Family & Our Future, It Would Fit Us Just Right
We Bought The Ground-Plot - Our Land of Dreams So Bright
... Built A House, Made A Home & A Garden of Delight

Filled With Peonies, Carnations & My Philodendron-Fetish
Hydrangeas Spilling Riotously All Over The Trellis
Ivy Interwoven All Thru The Surrounding Lattice
Periwinkle & Prize Winning Magnolias Embellish
As Cattails Encircle The Pond - Our Garden's Chalice

We Walked Past Gladiolus & Silver Sage At Midnight
We Stepped Into Our Private - Garden Stage In Moonlight

Our Eyes Became Stars A Reflective Shine
Our Lips Became Sprinklers - Our Arms Were Vines
That Clung To Both Limbs - Yours & Mine
That Attached Like Roots of Evergreen Pines
That Rose Like Stems That Bleeding Heart-Flowers Climb
Among Four O'Clocks & Hollyhocks & Silver Thyme

While Wading Thru The Garden At Midnight
While Wooing In The Garden In Moonlight

Mine For Life

The summer that we first met
Is a day I wont forget
Just one look and I knew
You'd be mine my whole life through
Four years later down the line
Is when I joined your heart with mine
I could hardly catch my breath
As down the aisle step by step
I walked closer to the man
A ring on my shaky hand
Searching for which way to go
We joined these two lonely souls
Doing a complete reverse
We made it through better or worse
Never having to give in
As others do time and again
When things start to fall apart
We just look inside our hearts
For the perfect reason why
This relationship will never die

HE ATE HER YEARS

                                                      HE ATE HER YEARS

                                                          Ate her years

She Sat in Shame no More

She sits in shame
Wrapped in soiled sheets
Where she recently loved
Against her inner greets

For her desire to be loved
Drew her away from her bond
To be with her lover
Whom to her, responds

No longer captured
In a marriage of cold
Ignored, forgotten
Her empty soul, sold

As she sits and ponders
Her tomorrow life
Breaking her marriage vows
And who made her his wife

She no longer sits in shame
For a decision she's made
If she stayed with her vows
In this life she would fade

Her closed door has reopened
Now loved and adored
No longer cold and discarded
Her heart restored

Dear, Naive Mistress,

Dear, Naive Mistress,

Open your eyes.
You’ve been used...again!
He doesn’t answer his phone –
Sister, yeah, right. NOT!!!
It was his wife.
He can’t take you home.
He has another life.
He’ll never ask you to move in
Or play with your kids.
He is married!
And already has a family.
Nauseated? Dizzy?
You are pregnant again.
And who is the daddy?
Mr. Married Man!
Look inside yourself.
You don’t deserve this.
Put an aspirin between your knees
And leave it there until you are married.
Or keep being an easy mark.
The choice is yours.
Promiscuity brings pain.
Deceit delivers downfalls.
So, pick yourself up,
Look in the mirror,
Get some professional help,
And make a change.
You deserve a better life.
But only you can make that happen.
So get a grip girl.
And become the best you
That your children deserve.
It will not be easy, but you can do it.

Best Wishes,
Agony Aunt

God's Plan For Marriage

God’s Plan for Marriage… There’s a truth that remains since the beginning of time. God created man and woman. And had one thing in mind. From the dust of the ground, Adam was formed. From his side came Eve. A new life was “born!” God’s design for marriage became very evident and clear… If not for Adam and Eve, none of us would be here! Marriage is a blessing from God. A gift from God above. A man and a woman come together as an expression of their love. Anything different than one man and woman is perverted. This is a lie from our culture that is trying to be “inserted.” God gave us all a natural love with a strong ambition. To come as a husband and wife is a God given intention! Read from the books of Genesis thru Revelation… God’s idea of marriage is for any person or nation. Many can try to change what God has already designed. It’s no wonder why so many have “confused” minds. Let’s come back to God and trust him with our life! The one who set up marriage as; “one husband and one wife!” By Jim Pemberton

Dear Life: Dear Love

I know when I talk,
I am passionate.

I know when I act,
I am driven.

I know when I love,
I am scared.

Thing is, we are all passionate about something.

I flip out a lot,
I sometimes shake with frustration,
I sometimes lose my breath.

I know I am not the most open person in the world,
But you have to cherish and appreciate the moments
I knock down some walls.

I apologize for the moments I say things out of anger,
I apologize for the moments I turn away.
I have my flaws,
I am not perfect,
But that's the best thing out of life and love:
It's to build foundations and grow from them.

I hurt easily.
I only expect the best,
Because I've seen the worst.

My Salewa

My S-a-l-e-w-a

Before you say “I do”
Think deeply before given your precious life
To that person you think you love….
Since marriage is not worth rushing in, for rushing out sake
Since it is not lived in other people’s path or in their will
Neither is it lived as your parent’s had lived their lives

Since it is not for the reason that; my entire friend’s are married
So ‘You’ must…and your desperation makes you desperate to get it
And it is not because you are alone and lonely and need someone
Or been pressured to marry from your relatives and colleagues
But because it is sacred, it is a commandment, and you have found such one

Since most who had tasted the marital life are clamoring to come out...
By divorce or separation or through death
By physical or sexual violence...or emotional withdrawal
And those who have not tasted the marriage experience desire to get in…
By pregnancy, or cohabitation or through formal wedding

And you will ask what went wrong? Why this struggles?
I say think deeply before giving up your single-hood
To that intimate stranger you called your man
To that seducer you called your woman
To that neighbor you called your friend
To that passer-bye you called your partner
To your colleague at work you called your fiancée
To your classmate you called your spouse-to-be

Since your single life after giving it away cannot come bye
Because your single life is that time you have for yourself
To be responsible for your choices
To plan your career life and create your world
That time you have to yourself to create your empire
That stage in your life that you need to master
Your thoughts and emotions….
That time in your life you need to examine the life your living

That period you need to know thyself intimately
That moment in your life you need to follow God with your heart
That phase of your life you are creative and imaginative
That era of your life you must be resourceful and adventurous
And become useful to yourself and to the person you love
And accept to live the rest of your life with him

Before you say i do
count the cost and consider the price to pay
are you emotionally matured
since marriage is not all about sex
it involves your person and personality
it involves your emotion, money and time

since what you demand from your spouse
is what he needs in you-and you need in him
what you will spend is your emotion
how you spend it is your responsibility
please think deeply before you say i do

her poem

I write poems on many topics
Love, nature, stars in the sky
 Some can make you smile
And some can even make you cry

 Some can touch your hearts
 And make your emotions flow
 Can even make you hungry
 And make your appetite grow

But when I ask the girl I love
To write her a poem, she said no
And at that moment I was hurt
Until she explain why she said so

But she said that I could
As her smile lights up so bright
That she will let me write one
But only on our wedding night

And she wants me to read it to her
And it’s been her secret wish
And it will be so special to her
a night she will always cherish

So I started writing her poem
But will keep it secret in my mind
And it will be the easiest poem to write
And it will be the best of all time

So I began write about her
And the first day that we met
And the moment I laid my eyes on her
A second I will never forget

 the kindness of her heart
Is like a treasure that has no end
She is my angel from above
My soul mate and my best friend

Her hair, her face, her sweet voice
Is a beautiful mystery to the world?
 Her eyes and beautiful smile
Is like the sun warning my soul

The way she talks, the ways she walks
She just takes my breathe away
 Her wisdom and understanding
The magic in every word that she says

And loving her is like breathing
It’s the only thing I’m living for
And i would end the poem by saying
I love you infinity for ever more

My Curse of Eight(revised)

Number eight has plundered my life.
First time was divorce upon eight years.
Second marriage ended in strife.
At the end of eight months, were tears.

Eight years of loneliness took its toll.
Alcohol, second youth, choices wrong.
Chasing dreams, almost took my soul.
Presenting new problems too long,

Now much wiser then in years past,
Securing true love, finally in life,
I believe my curse has ended at last.
Finding and cherishing a final wife.

Eight years of courtship, I planned.
Her curse of five had long passed.
Five years of marriage does stand.
Soon eight years of marriage massed.

My curse lifted sweetly, so serene,
She says, I am the cutest she ever seen.
I know she is a treasure of my scene.
I am her king, She, my everlasting queen.

Its Not to late For Change contest

If it was 1942
Relationships would carry substantial views
Since about 1983
Things have changed drastically

Backwards, zig- zaged, upside-down
Destroyed traditions have become muted sound
Men are getting milk for free
While feasting on all the meat they can eat
They have no reason to buy the cow or compliment it with a vow

Trying out the goods before paying full price
A generation who hears the word marriage and thinks twice
I’d have to blame it on the 60's babies
They started getting divorced and made everything crazy

Now what sense is it to have a child and than move in?
Not to mention it’s a biblical sin
God’s word never changed His people suddenly did
He wanted parents to be married when they had a kid

They use to ship a girl away that got pregnant before she began to show
Now there are many men that pick up and just go
We are in an age that is afraid to fully commit
Yet we have no problem doing everything else with charm and wit
The results of this lifestyle has caused nothing but chaos and pain
How many people go to court for child support every day and are in need of financial gain

Let’s not forget the teens that have followed in this lead
They meet some teenage boy and think that love means having his seed
Children are raising children while young adults are living together before its time
What’s the point of marriage if you have already drank the whole bottle of wine

If you think this is normal or that marriage is for the lame
Wait another 20 years and watch how damaged and filled with shame
Our future children will wonder why no one stays together for long
They will write it in poems and sing it in their songs

It was not just a religious belief it was the right thing to do
Fall in love get married then have a baby or two
Women are wasting their lives with a man for years
If you live together and aren’t married he will end up bringing you to tears

And if you do get married what is there to look forward to, tax right offs I suppose
Because by the time you have married you have formed thorns around your precious rose
There were no talk shows featuring “you are not the father” back then
People had one partner until the very end

Let’s not forget about the problem with STD's
They run ramped like birds in vibrant trees
Before long people will have to carry a safety card
To prove their privates aren’t strangely scarred
All avoidable, yet it keeps getting worse
When will we wake up and finally hit reverse?

I Love It When

I love it when I get you sweetheart
All to myself;
To take a walk -
To sit and talk -
About our lives and health.

I love it when I take you sweetheart
Out for a ride;
To drive around -
To get unwound -
With just you by my side.

I know you are so busy
Slaving away;
You wash -
You mend -
You cook -
You tend -
And go to work each day.

I know you are an angel
Sent from above;
You serve -
You care -
You heal -
You share -
God’s precious gift of love.

I love it when I have you sweetheart
Close in my arms;
Your kiss, your face,
Your warm embrace,
Are some of your great charms.

I’ll love it when in heaven sweetheart
God will make things new;
I’ll be in white,
And what a sight
When He puts wings on you.

FORMER MARRIAGE

I was married to a man,
who I loved with all of my heart.
Until, one horrible evening.
My marriage fell apart.

How could this have happened,
after so many of years?
The news I would be given.
was one of my biggest fears.

Out of the blue
I received a call.
From another woman,
I had no knowledge of at all.

As my husband stood there
denying all of the facts.
She kept on insisting
they were having an affair, behind my back.

Her voice was so cold.
It’s obvious she did not care.
For a marriage or children.
My husband and I had shared.

I hung up the phone
when the line had gone dead.
Our marriage was over.
What more could she have said.

Although we are no longer together
as husband and wife.
I have since then moved on
I am happy with my life.

Achilles Abides

Watching mundane seconds tick away
Linked together they form passing years
This flimsy chain around my neck does not betray
Nor can my stinging eyes squeeze back the tears

Dreams begin to float out of my reach
Tormented by what makes me so distressed
Losing many of my hopes I feel besieged
Yet still reflecting on the way my life is blessed

The silence puzzles me and pierces with its thunder
The foundation bucks the shaking of its core
What God has joined together no man puts asunder
The waves are beating hard upon our shores

Weary eyes look towards damp clouds and search for light
Desperate to feel some warmth deep within my bones
Will its brilliant glow supplant the bluish night
Giving a sneak peek into the great unknown

Chasing those rainbows now seems like wasted time
The pot of gold was a seductive ruse of lead
Perhaps we were just lonely partners in crime
Caught up in reveries we thought surely lied ahead

Waiting for the stars to fall into my hands
To turn this to profound from the surreal
Nobody but the stars can understand
That I’ll fall victim to my poor Achilles heel

Are You Having An Affair

I don't think many people
are aware...
of the dangers of having
"an affair."

Adultery begins with a lustful thought
captured in the mind.
It's been part of sins's curse,
 since the beginning of time.

Many aren't sure how they're
 going to react.
Until the day they're caught
 in an adulterous act.

By this time... they're love for
 their spouse is broken.
When the words; "I love you"...
 to another... are spoken.

Soon... their home become
"turned around" and divided.
As their commitment and loyalty
become undecided.

The family soon become "
one huge mess..."
As the love "for another person"
becomes "obsessed."

You may find yourself in this
kind of situation.
Perhaps you're in
 "deep desparation."

Run from this person as
fast as your can!
Come to the cross and
reach for Jesus' hand!

Confess your sin to your spouse
 and call on Jesus' name.
You have only yourself...
no one else... to blame.

Allow Jesus to 100% be
the Lord of your life.
As you brings you together
as husband and wife!

Let him restore your marriage
and make it complete.
Come to him now and
lay your sin at his feet.

His love in your marriage is
forever and binding!
His commitment to you is
a love worth finding!

Pondering Life On A Cool Morn

Pondering Life On A Cool Morn

Sitting here all thoughtful and so quite alone
shadow on the floor, cat is outside on the roam
House is so very quiet, empty and a bit cold
this brief spell was my entire life so long ago

Yet now just a silent temporarily lonely state
because my darling wife leaves early as of late
Our son to babysitter has so early just flown
too soon, too soon , a man then he'll be grown!

I sit in silence pondering such thoughts this morn
how tragic had our beloved son not ever been born
As the cool breeze eases into this large room
memories come calling with a splash and loud boom!

Immediately my heart stirs to take glowing flights
as those coins now give such brilliant new sights
The glow of love and a life now so very at peace
such treasures fill my heart and many joys unleash!

Robert J. Lindley, Feb 18, 2012

Found this write on a paper folded into a coat pocket
in clothes we are donating to charity. I had simply forgot writing it!
My coat goes but my write stays and into my journal it will
now be recorded.

Jesus Is A True Foundation For Your Marriage

As a child, in church, I was raised.
Taught the Bible
and the Christian ways.

At an early age, I invited Jesus in.
Learning what was right
and what was sin.

I looked up to my parents--I really did.
I was so proud of the
way they lived.

They were the world to me--
I was so proud.
Then one day there appeared
a very dark cloud.

This cloud hovered over my parents,
whom I loved so dear.
Soon the ugly face of divorce
was soon to appear.

I prayed for them-
I desperately tried.
The many nights I lay
awake and cried.

How could this happen?
 I often wondered.
To have a wonderful marriage
so utterly plundered.

A sin crept in--and was
allowed to prevail.
Soon this marriage
began to fail.

Let this be a warning to me and to all.
Playing with sin will cause us to fall.

If your life is heading
toward a separation,
build your marriage on Jesus--
a true foundation!

He can Do what no
other power can do...
And give NEW meaning
to the words; "I LOVE YOU!"

I love you still

Oh how I felt
I felt I would explode
If I didn’t talk to you
The first time I saw you

My innards were knotted
As my heart pumped blood clotted
As I looked at you
The first time I saw you

Somewhere, somehow
I found the courage
To walk to you
My knees were wobbling
And I felt cold
As I walked to you

And as I tried to think
Of some clever thing to say
My mind was on the blink
I felt I could just bray

But then your eyes
Met mine - across the universe
And space and time
Took a bow
As my heart then wrote a verse

Your eyes looked into me
Right down to hidden truth
Your laser-look burned through my string
And my head floated off like a balloon
I heard the circus
I heard the song
I heard the heartbeat beat a different gong
And as my heady feeling
Felt a rush of warmth
My cheeks were ablaze
Within your laser truth

And at that moment,
We shared, we sparked, we lived
And all else faded
To a background noise

And then the universe responded
The radio waves of dying stars
We found ourselves surrounded
We found ourselves on Mars

Your mouth so slowly parted
In a glistening ripe smile
And my eyes were fixed on you
Bonded with the strongest, the strongest super-glue

And in that moment,
Three children were conceived
Three lives were there created
As we looked and we believed

Oh, how I felt
Like I was not myself
Oh how you felt,
When you then gave yourself

The rest is history
And history is written
For all to hear and all to see
As you and I became “we”

Oh, how I love you still
After two decades and a half
And how you thrill me still
As I look upon your face

Real Lasting Love Together

In this day of break ups and divorce
is marriage for life really possible?
can two people really live in harmony?
to start with let's get sensible

Any two people will have differences
no two persons can be the same
so we all need to be realistic
be not quick to cast the blame

Make sure you truly love each other
wanting to live with this person for ever
willing to put up with each other
always willing to be the giver

When apart wishing to be together
treasuring each moment that you share
wishing the best for each other
give your all in loving tender care

They'll be times of doubt and fall outs
but this will test if its real love
for deep persevering love will overcome
refusing temptation to take a shove

Real lasting love together
will no matter what overcome and defeat
with peace and contentment shared together
will be for each other a life long treat

Josh and Amber

Marriage between man and woman is an intimate union you see
that begins with an equal partnership with the man on his knees

With deepest joy you are asking someone to share your life
Knowing quite well in this journey there will be times of strife.

Happy is the man who discovers his true friend in life
is the same one he's about to marry to be his wife

A good marriage relationship begins with mutual respect
Where a couple goes through life vowing to love and protect

Whenever one is wrong we need to be quick to admit
In this relationship the one who is right needs to acquit

A good marriage is like a good casserole and has many parts
Those responsible keeping what goes in close to their hearts

No relationship comes with a guarantee for success
We need to learn to pray so we will do our very best

As time goes by we need to look upwards to the sky
A day will come we have to look our Father in the eye

pyar kisi aur se , par shadi kisi aur se
wade kisi aur se,par nibhate kisi aur se
nhi rah sakte pyar me,pyar ke bina
par rahna padta hai majburi me
har janam sath rahne ki kasme lete
par ek janam bhi n ji pate sath
kaisi hai ye jindagi ki majburi
n chahte huye bhi apnana padta hai , kisi anjan ko
apna banana padta hai , us anjan ko
kaisi hai ye jindagi ki majburi

so it seems

A new year comes a new life for some I see a light at the end of a tunnel vision impaired by the life I have.
ode to my self as I I try to reclaim my name in this time of love and hate give me life and take it away and be
My one and only see me fail see me fall so it seems you are ment for me

The Awful Marriage

Why get stuck in an awful marriage forever more.
Never again will you be able to soar.
Only one,
You will be able to adore.
Only you won’t adore,
But you will regret forever more.
Between freedom you’ll be torn.
In a marriage I’ll never be scorn.
It’s a curse forever worn.
I fell sorry for the ones this disease hath born.

I Love You You're Perfect Now Change

Pre-marital bliss becomes post-marital blues
When the one you marry ask you to choose
Be who you are or become someone new
Meet my expectations or I will leave you
Do everything that I say not as you will
If you do then I promise to love you still

For you are mine forever, no longer free
You’re my Mr. Right! But to be with me
There are a few things that need to change
Just a little this or that to be rearranged
The way you talk, and walk, your attitude
Your financial status must also be renewed

Your physical appearance from head to toe
Your look and personal style just has to go
You’ll need to change, but only as I say
For to be with me there is no other way
You just need to remember ‘I love you!’
I will always and forever be true to you

As long as you do as I tell you to do.

Celibacy

I respect myself therefore I'm respecting you
What I wouldn't do to me I wouldn't do to you
Our love can be celebrated by our celibance
We don't have to have sex to prove its true
Me giving myself to you and you giving yourself to me at the right time will prove
its truth
A moment of passion soon will past
And those feelings don't last
Me and you minus the sex is better math
A relationship without the lust is the better we can have
Just think if you get pregnant I'm not ready to be a dad
Beyond that and disease
Think about who we are trying to please
Without God there would be no you and me
Sex before marriage in this world is common
But sex before marriage in our world is a problem
So what if so society is numb
We march to a different beat from the drum
The wait can be frustrating but in the end its worth it
If you don't understand you will when you know what your worth is

How sorry

You say you are sorry and want one last chance.
Can't you see that I am so weary of this dance?

Did the divorce papers not give you the clue?
I no longer want to be married to you!

What makes you think I would stay?
I am no longer your prey.

Your word I do not have to obey
For I am finally having my say.

My love I once had for you is deeply buried,
As you are no longer the man that I married.

You did nothing but give me grief.
So now our marriage is one that is brief.

Do I have to tell you a lover I have taken?
That our wedding vows I have now forsaken?

Can I be that cruel?
To the fire add more fuel?

Break your heart and your trust?
I surely will if I must.

I just want to end this marriage bizarre,
I no longer want to hear how sorry you are.

The Sneak Attack

At last the proverbial other shoe
has dropped and hit the ground
I've been waiting for it for so long
been waiting for that sound

And it thinks itself so clever
staying motionless for years
in the hope that I'd forget it
and relinquish all my fears

It'd pop its head in from time to time
when life was going well
and warp someone with evil
send a marriage straight to hell

I must admit, it tricked me
more than a few times
and swept my feet from under me
and stole all I thought was mine

But this time I was waiting
now that all my dreams came true
the perfect man, the perfect place
it came as if on cue

This time it wouldn't warp my mate
it'd leave my marriage strong
and it wouldn't make me lose my home
and nothing would seem wrong

This time it'll ruin me from within
undermine things like a rumor
and destroy my bit of happiness
with a large and deep brain tumor.

Marital Bliss

The best marriage is a union
Between two people, minds, and souls
They are not halves
They are simply two wholes
Two people joined together as one
Facing life together in Christ
Knowing each battle is already won

Marriage means compromise
It does not mean control
No by one of the spouses
Only God can make the marriage hold
Marriage is a beautiful thing
When the Lord is in the midst
When the two are right for each other
Then it will be pure bliss

Storms arise in every marriage
And in every marriage, the spouses sometimes disagree
But if God is in control
Then the two spouses can declare “I’m free to be me”
When marriage is done according to God’s Word
It is not anything to make one spouse surrender being free
It is quite the opposite; you get the spend your life with the partner you love and you get to live with partner and experience daily glee

A good marriage is always blissful
Even when hard times arise
Because the couple treat each special
Face adversity together
And sometimes, give each other a little surprise.

What is Marriage

What is Marriage?

Marriage once had an aura about it
a special union ordained by God
a unique symbol of our humanity
I find that the purpose and meaning
of marriage and family today has
changed as society has accepted new
norms it seems that are now the way
we define both of these institutions.

Boys and girls no longer have their
roles as future husbands and wives
defined by growing up watching
and learning from their parents
what is means to be a husband
or a father and a mother or a wife

Our roles as husbands and wives
are ever changing and are based
not on what is right or wrong but
on situation ethics and individual
self-centered attitudes of what’s
exactly is in it for me, myself or I.

Marriage is no longer a relationship
based on the giving of one another
for the benefit of each other, but
instead is all about getting all that
one can and having it all for oneself

Selfishness and greed are the two
primary determining factors that
deems whether a marriage is or
or is not working, with the easy
solution being the pre-nuptial
agreement or the fast “No Fault”
divorce when the marriage doesn’t
live up to unrealistic expectations.

Today what determines whether
a marriage is successful or not
is the accumulation of things
geared to our own selfish wants
and not seeking to live together
in harmony working together and
seeking only to acquire those
things that meet our own needs.

The Message

(Rondel)

People take too many risks, and later they crack,
When before marriage in free sex they lark!
And all these sexual activities will leave their mark,
That good or bad right after they can't take them back !

Days can be turned all the way, from white to black
It depends so much on you, not any Jessie or Jack!
People take too many risks, and later they crack
When before marriage in free sex, they lark!

It seems that some people don't still get it Jack!
People get hurt get sick from having free sex with Jessie or Jack!
And the price of sin is leaving in society, its very ugly mark,
So resist temptation, it's not really worthy your life! turn back!
People take too many risks, and later they crack
When before marriage in free sex, they lark!
