STARS LIGHT, THEY SHINE BRIGHT Glowing gems that dress the night, I yearn to know your brightness art blinking quick, blinking slow my running thoughts you make them go... From arid desert to distant worlds, stars white shimmer a wordless speech: their wink--a gift of hope to travelers who dare tread the darkest steep. In my arms, I have one little star so mild, so child, my antidote to fear twinkle in her eyes, my happiest tear years ebb my star bloom to a big star I clap loud for my star scintillates from afar Amidst terrors strike, she, standing still her Venus light shining in the flight of years. She soft-hearted despite some limiting steel My star swim, swim to life's stream 'til pass a tide, she found her hearts' star One day he said: "she is his dearest" so eighth of February, they breath their vows Soon, after a year, my before little star now cradles her own baby star. Her eyes so deep, her grin so sweet, our little star add a touch of treats. Twinkle, twinkle little stars-- gleam silver above the skies let your light boogie near or far on each fair fields that before us lie. ______________________________________________ Sponsor Kelly Deschler Contest Name Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Placed 5th... My Son Moon and Star

My Son Moon and Star ~

Approaching the celebration of his Birth
                cherishing the gift I received
within weeks of conception I knew
something amazing was in Creation ~

            the Stars held a party
sending me with one of their own
Gazing at 3 shooting stars twinkling crossing the sky
It was magic It was destiny taking its flight.

In love with an October full moon
               drawing and painting I liked
thinking of Vincent Van Gogh ~
caught in a loss of time

Hours going by as choosing my color
a wittness to three falling stars
             A clear night sky sparkle's
A once Famous Star was sent
inspiring the tiny child inside ~

Never a doubt in my mind at all
child bearing was worth any pain received
yours will be in a pursuit of a dream ~
             one to cherish and hold
My Son was born the following August ~

working on the set of Grimm 3rd season this year
as the set of Leverage for 3 years .

Has done a Indie movie here
In Paris it was seen and honored
coming soon filmed in Portland ~
"The House of Last Things "

awaiting the credits , you will see
1st Assistant Director ~ production assistant
My Young Lion Mans dream ~
A proud mom I watch every show and the credits

as foretold in a whisper to me 25 years ago
My Son & Moon and Star
A name you will all know ~

Happy Birthday to my creative Son
you will exist in my heart forever~

A radiant view lingers inside my eyes, suspended in the unknown hemisphere of eternity, of pure innocence where its moons and dust alight. I sense the rocks and craters of Mars as one drift. Yet , upon creation's fathomless vortex, there are certainties. While I, an observer in this expanse break into a thrilled stun, as the grandeur of matter and red kiln recall the ways of genesis when chants from gods prophesied, ‘The Fire Star.’ And each motion of this orb knows its pull before circling amidst outer space. I pause... the novice in me sees all brethren worlds vibrating in a rhythm of fluid continuity. I pause…stirred by this lineage of oneness borne from holy design, roaming to greet friendly strangers in a journey to reach a terminal carrying life’s original seeds. 6/30/2015 Subject Mars Contest

Just wishing on a shooting star Shimmery streak in the night sky Wistful eyes, clasped palms, mouth ajar Countless desires piling up high Mesmerized heart has stopped beating Just wishing on a shooting star Timeless moment, am savoring Fly me away to dreamland far Realms of real life drift afar Stack of suppressed dreams form towers Just wishing on a shooting star Let there be meteor showers! One silver strand for each sweet wish Sprinkling glitter from God's gold jar Soaking in the heavenly bliss Just wishing on a shooting star 10/8/2012

The Hollywood hills still echoes with his
Rebellious yell, we are the forever young
An iconic American symbol, to this the lost
Age of innocence.
Nay did this rebel die without a cause,
I think not, in my humble opinion, he
Died for his desire for speeds acceleration,
In death's ironic twist of fate, James Dean's
Name became immortalized as an epic tragedy,
Of youthful hearts seeking to be wild and free,
Without any consequences.
A teen idol who went out in a blaze of glory,
Revving His engine hell bound for destiny's,
Rock-n-roll Hall of Fame.
A nation wept in despair mourning for the
Loss of one so young and full of life.
Sorrows children cried in disbelief laying roses,
At his final resting place.
The jukeboxes remained silent with respects,
Reverence, and bikers gave him a rebel send off.
A generation whom believed they were bullet proof,
Realized how human life could be extinguished,
Within the flash point of on coming head lights.
James Dean's ashes were swept away swallowed,
Whole by time itself.
Now he's nothing but a tarnished star in histories,
Memorabilia case on display for all to see,
And remember, this the first easy rider.
JFK dream vision illusion of Camelot has faded to gray,
And Elvis now sings in a more heavenly chorus,
In the great beyond.
But before these man took the center stage, another
Walked the thin line of immortality's rebel fighting,
For a cause.
One lone figure rides into the night across freedoms,
Highway, and his name was James Dean.

The star sharpened, quietly bright,
as shadows darkened into night,
a point of shining light that guides
three kings to where the child abides.

They visited, arrayed with treasure,
gold and incense for his pleasure;
poor tokens for a life of trial
exemplifying self-denial.

A man above, a man apart, beloved of
God with hardly time to steel his heart;
a man who sacrificed his soul
to make the unrepentant whole.

He took Mary for his lover,
she was caring, and sought cover
to conceal his dissolution,
(a passion pure, no need of absolution.)

The star that consecrated birth
no longer smiles upon the earth;
he wept for us upon the cross
and every day we mourn his loss.

Star Magnolia

Star Magnolia in the winter cold
Can you give me any hope to hold

There on your branches, buds of silver
In this cold, I feel them shiver

But they are giving me a shred of hope
That soon spring will surely kaleidoscope

The King Of Pop

from his abc's
to that freaky billy jean

came a pop star
for all to love and see

from the apollo's stage
wondered if you were ready for screaming rage

for you never had a childhood of bliss
only done what was on joseph's list

a studded white glove
and white socks just because

a star on the hollywood walk of fame
for you sang and danced showing no shame

scandals of twisted truth
did not detour you from your missing youth

neverland was your own safari escape
who would figure your best friend would be a chimp of faith

michael may god cradle you in his arms
and basked in your king of pops worldly charm

will forever miss that porcelain smile
and always think of you on my radio dial

for now your at your heavens trial
may god forgive this lost and lonely child

Oh hey.. do you know
How Beautiful

Of the coming of Our King

As Star Burst in air
Aint Nothing
That compares
Of How Miraculous tis is
That Jesus comes.. for His
For Time is Now..
Growing Close to be
Gone in a Twinkle of an Eye
ForEver in Eternity

Oh How Precious
It shall be..
For Souls in that time

Received Up.. into Glory
With Jesus Christ Our King

Oh do You know
How Glorious tis be
For then we all be together

These eyes bright
Hair the colour of night
Queen of starlight

She held a handful of stars
She tossed them far
Scattering through,
the midnight sky

The star that landed on me..........
Was my destiny
For this star,
choose to be..............
the star for me

Scattering through,
billions of stars
There is one waiting for you

Glittering glow,
from my chosen star so
Scattered throught the blackest night
This one, I won't let go

This star
So bright
It came so far you see.............
It chose me

These eyes bright
Hair the colour of night

She held a handful of stars
She held one for me
The star she held................
Was my destiny

One for me........
One for you........
Travelling too........
Such stars are meant to be..........

These eyes bright
Hair the colour of night
Scattering starlight

Somewhere Out There

Somewhere out there on a distant star is a

place where we belong all to ourselves where

there's no words nor a familiar face. On

this star is where we eternally exist

without critiscism or anyone's sultry words.

On this star you'll never cry, except from

tears of joy. Somewhere out there our love

has no bounds, out there were never alone,

always in each other's arms. Though no

matter how bright this star maybe it still

doesn't compare to you or me. Some where out

there on that star we'll find each other and

finally be at peace. Until then somewhere

out there we shall meet.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Came to Manchester United as an 18 year old
With a lot of potential and talent to use
Back then you were just a cocky showboat
But you practised everyday and had the right attitude

Your determination, passion and desire
To keep improving has to be admired
Sir Alex Ferguson said you’re the most talented player he’s ever had
And you said he was like your football dad

You amaze us all with your skills and tricks
You get frustrated at yourself for any shot you miss
In my eyes you will be the greatest ever
Thank you for all the memories you gave us in Manchester

You never hid the fact it was your goal to be the best
Well you’ve achieved that
I remember when I cried when you left
Us for Madrid, hopefully one day you will be back

People call you “arrogant” because of your desire to be the greatest
But you’re humble as you do a lot for charity and people who need it
You even paid 50k out of your own money for a child’s cancer treatment
You wanted to be the best and you’ve achieved it

Each year you just keep getting better
And continue to amaze me
Most football fans consider you one of the greatest ever
Thank you for all the inspiration you have gave me

As a kid you hit a teacher with a chair because she made fun of your Portuguese accent
You were constantly told you wouldn’t make it as a footballer
Now it’s you who’s laughing
Anytime people told you, you couldn’t, you stood taller

Last night you won your third ballon D’or
Giving us football fans a lot of moments of heaven
In almost every match you score
You will always be the best Cristiano Ronaldo 7

The Sooner Recruit

Fifty years, boy and man, I’ve been a Sooners fan;
And watched thousands of recruits try to make my Sooners Team.
Often, I’ve enviously wondered what it must be like
To be a touted Sooners recruit, living out his dream.

He’d had a great career through high school;
Made good grades, was a football star, played baseball too.
Coach said college recruiters were watching closely;
So, he tried his very best to make his dream come true.

You see, he’d played on the L’il Sooners as a kid;
Started getting serious about the game when he was only eight
Played with older, bigger boys and practiced hard;
Always told his friends, “To be a Sooner, ya gotta play great”.

Oh yes, his parents raised a football player;
And, even more important, a Sooners fan;
But he wanted more, to be a Sooner,
To feel the glory raining down from the stands.

Now, the Sooners’ Head Coach is in his living room.
“Son, you’ve got talent. We think you fit our scheme.
We’re offering you a scholarship, an opportunity
To be an important member of our great Sooners Team”.

His mother smiles her biggest smile.
His father nods proudly and pats him on the knee.
“Lord knows, son, it’s a dream come true.
Go be the very best Sooner you can be”.

He walks into the locker room,
Not quite sure what to expect;
But sure that to play for the Sooners
He will first have to earn respect.

He looks each man straight in the eye -
Other recruits, trainers, assistants, and every coach.
“Be proud, but respectful”, his mother had said;
Your character, more than your performance, must be above reproach”.

His handshake is firm and he smiles.
“Only one chance for a first impression”, his father had said;
"Always put yourself in positive light, on and off the field.
That’s what it will take to play for the mighty Big Red”.

He meets so many other recruits, each one a high school star.
He’s played against a few and knows they share his dream.
And, to a man, each knows before any chance for Glory,
He first must prove worthy to play for this Sooners Team.

He knows a few will fail to meet the coaches’ expectations.
For some, the scout team will be their fate.
Many will suit up, but rarely play.
Only the very best will ever dare to be great.

Coach says, “If every man learns and executes when called on,
Then this team, we Sooners, will win a lot of games;
But, win or lose, if you play hard and give your very best,
You’ll never have to hang your heads in shame”.

“But gentlemen, with or without you, this team will win.
Every season, the Sooners strive to win it All.
So, listen, work hard, and prepare yourselves. Each game is war...
And you must be ready when Victory calls”.

Through grueling practices, he finds himself.
As he walks to class, his closest friends are aches and pains;
But, just the other day, Coach helped him up, smiled, and patted his helmet.
“You’re doin’ fine, son. Keep pushin’. Remember, no pain, no gain”.

He sees his name on the "open scrimmage" roster for the very first time.
It’s a moment he’ll never forget, another milestone in his dream.
He calls his Mom and Dad, knowing they’ll tell his family and his friends.
He hopes they’ll actually see him play, proof he’s made the Team.

As he suits up for the last pre-season open scrimmage,
He wonders if the coaches would really let a freshman play at all;
But Coach puts him in for eight plays against the first team;
He makes two great open-field tackles and intercepts the ball.

He barely hears the roar of the crowd, as the whole defense “gives him five”.
He’s so excited, he forgets to ask if he can keep that ball.
Fans are buzzing, “Did you see that hit”!? “Who is that kid”!?
“Will he red shirt or will Coach let him play this fall”?

He sees his name in the Sunday paper, hears it on local sports.
He’s happy, but he doesn’t let it go to his head.
He keeps his focus and uses it as motivation.
After all, he wants to start one day for the mighty Big Red.

Yes, we’ll hear more of this young recruit.
Perhaps, one day he’ll be the hero of the game.
A seasoned veteran, maybe All Conference or even All American,
Who’s tasted Victory many times and helped glorify the Sooners’ name.

Oh yes, there have been so many who’ve aspired;
But many fewer who’ve actually made our Sooners Team.
They are our heroes, each and every one;
For it’s through their accomplishments, we fans can live the dream.

Billy Vessels, Steve Owens, Billy Sims, and Jason White,
The Selmons, Little Joe, the Boz, Josh Heupel, and “Q”
They, and so many others, were once touted Sooners recruits;
Who set a higher mark and built the Tradition that is OU.

So, c’mon! c’mon! all you great young football players!
Dedicate your talents to OU’s Team and OU’s Fans.
Make Oklahoma’s Owen Field your Field of Dreams,
And feel the Glory raining down from the stands.

Mind and Sound

Only light can penetrate the
that resides in the default state
of mind
I descend from beta to delta
binaural beats; instantly caught
between frequencies beyond

I absorb amplitudes of acoustic
and I learn to just be earth
Since I am the earth
and because I am of
the one that is the source of its
I've owned the power of

I realize now that I AM because
HE is since I am from that, a
Created in the image of a
and a feeling from the
Universal Mind
I tune in to this vibration from
pulse that manipulates
subconscious minds

Immersed between 4 and 7
brainwaves halt to a conscious
All chakras are aligned shining
crown energy
and now my consciousness
begins to reap!
and light begins to penetrate
the harmonious beams
that were already there
constant and always there

is now flooded with sound
that force brainwaves to submit
to power
of omnipresent sound that
always was
and always will be connected to
the Source from which I came
so I extend exponentially
physical time and space

I long to embrace the intensity
of gamma rays
I give way to the coded sounds
that resonate from the inner
and continue to connect
through the binaural beats that
remind me of before

Always familiar but ignored
until found by gaining
knowledge of self
I listen with the intent to excel
while reaping an abundance of
benefits and rewards
It's already yours

Just reach out and grab it
as long as intention and ego is
the universe will correspond
it will deliver a life to you divine
and orderly
Just listen to the sounds that
were there from before
They will guide to to the
vibration from the core
and it will guide you to connect
directly with the source

hiden star

the last night i've seen you in the sky, it was dark and you were bringing light, i've
seen you at the same time i've seen some others stars, all similars, i almost got comfused
with them all but night by night i was seeing all those stars were moving or just not
lighting anymore and you were still there, night by night i looked for you, i didn't know
that you were my star.

Sea And Space

I see outer space
As the place
To retrace the roots
Of the human race.

I see under the sea
Is where our bodily
Cells first came to be.

Man's heart is in the stars,
Holding onto the dream to reach Mars.
Man's history,
Written in the stars as destiny.

I am but a child,
Born onto this planet turned wild.
I am but a soul
Sent here to alleviate the toll.

I see a sea of stars,
A healing ocean for our scars.
I see an empty crater
As void as our love for our Creator.

Man's fate has
Always been to create.
Man's destiny is to face
The sailing of the vastness of sea and space.

The Morning Star

The Morning Star
By Nate Spears
There’s clarity in the depths on my deepest thought
I’m never blind to a world of darkness
I’m challenged by whatever in time
Defeated by my ambition in others

Close to my last day
But far from my last night
And I’m light years away
From my very last fight
The actions of the man
Creates the path of his life
The absence of the man
Restrains his rights
The mentality of a man
Saves the day he's granted
The intent of the man
Leads him the way the earth has planned it

So feel my rose as it fades
Feel my pedals bring a new days
As I sprout beyond the stars
To a galaxy that stands out
The route brings the creation to light
After the day
After the night
After the darkness
After my arrival
The morning is tainted
The day is seen in a human’s eye
Sight has been sinful before and after
You and I
This is the heart filled reason
For the birth Christ.

The sky is blue with music beats
The stars are smiling in the east
The moon is tangoing with me
And the trees are waving their leaves

The lilies are swaying in the wind
The birds are flapping their wings
The sun is standing still
For the birth of a unique Prince

The duck is cooing a coo
The drum is booming with boom
The bell is jingling melody tunes
For the dancing shoe in jolly mood

Every teeth is stable, dappled with babble
To dandle and staple the victuals rounding the table
No squabbles to dabble or dangle
This fable is not a parable to scrabble

The world is now at ease
In my mother’s little arm with peace,
That is crooning a lullaby
For her newborn baby

Now that a diamond is in the sky
My mother is no longer shy
She could join the laughter of the night
For the birth of a new life

I’m a newborn baby today
Starting life afresh, again
The smiles on a baby’s face anyway
Is an anthem, enough for a happy birthday.

successful man

Every successful man had his first time
What happened that day was his experience
If he trailed, then he became resilient
But if he thrived,he became consistent
Every successful man had his first time

Every successful man had his first time
When he trailed,
he refused to flatter-close his eyelid,
when he was feeling drowsy
He was at will and top
to lift that which the world said was heavy
Every successful man had his first time

Every successful man had his first time
When he thrived,
he refused to sigh
Until he inhaled the last air
he refused to smile
Until he felt the last tear drop
Every successful man had his first time

What then is success?
Success is how the beneficiary defines it
Success is the ability to revisit
Success is the willingness to conquer that which is conquered
Success is the zeal to awaken that which is dead
Success is the courage to say never
Success is the stamina to stay forever
Success is the patience to await regardless
Success is the readiness to climb the impossible stairs
Success is you and I
Success depends on how high we can fly
Success depends on how best you can try
Success is what we deserve before we die

An Ode to LIFE Part 1

An Ode To LIFE

As I lay my head down and start to fall asleep I see myself being carried off to a place and time the place of our Lords birth in Bethlehem of Judea

As in the Bible tells the story of His life and how he lived and died in that human seance and rose on the day He told of

I do not remember being here but I remember the story I was taught so many years ago

As I walk through the streets of Bethlehem I see each scene and hear every word as I am learning the story they telling is true

The writer writes of a jealous King and his way of dealing with his people and of Mary and Joseph who came to Bethlehem to have a child

The story tells of the three wise men who saw a star in the north and heard of a child who was born to be the King of the Jews and come to see and bring Him gifts

An angel from the Heavens above came to Mary and Joseph in a dream and told them they had to leave Bethlehem or King Herod would have their son killed

So they left Bethlehem and went to Egypt and there they lived until King Herod no longer ruled

As I follow along in my dream I see each scene and hear every word as I am puzzled by the fact I understand each

I don’t understand why I’m going through this time but I know I must continue on this journey

As I am pulling through a time where I reach the place of Jesus’ in Nazareth of Galilee

As I watched Him grow and work in His father's shop I could see the thing in Him that were with me

As I walk along the streets and look around I hear the people talk of a child that speaks of wondrous love that’s all forgiving and of a Father in Heaven that’s loving and true.

Little Mountain Star

January 24, 2014

Little Mountain Star

Little Mountain Star, how dare you fall to my feet from afar!
You should be dancing across galaxies warm and happy.
You have an attitude that blemishes when you are sappy.
Carry yourself up to the Northern winds and plant your Star!

Take me with you but bring me back with a great spar.
Hot or cold you must not ever get too snoopy or snappy.
Up! Up! Up! I tell you to rise like your big daddy pappy!
Little Mountain Star hear me, oh hear me plead this par.

You are too big,
Much too little,
I will take a swig!
I stand in the middle!

Conquer me or defeat me, I will adore you forever.
I will stand between this to and fro until whenever!

My Spirit Keeper

In as many stars
that I kept
Flowing in my heart
In depths
Only I could ever know
My Spirit Keeper

I can look back
In depths
Of stars flowing
That you were always there
My Spirit Keeper

In the Great Connect
The Silver Thread
To you
In depths
We could ever know
In stars and thoughts,read
My Spirit Keeper

Small pin pricks of light
In the beginnings
It took time in the finding
Such stirring
In my night
My Spirit Keeper

The stars grew
In my wisdom,
so did I
In depths
Only I could ever know
In my sky
My Spirit Keeper

Flowing in my heart
In the Great Connect
To you
Stars gushing
In depths
That you knew
My Spirit Keeper

Such richness
Began with you
My Spirit Keeper
For, in those stars flowing
It is my discovering
Of love showing
My Spirit Keeper

My Spirit Keeper
Only I could ever know
In depths
That I kept,
in as many stars

To rest awhile

In my Moondust’s arms

In a meadow of flowers

A shady tree

Watching her smile

I wove star flowers

In to her hair

She wove me into her heart

Never such love, so rare

Could be

In a meadow of flowers

We talked and sang

Until the sun set low

Fires lit, in reds and golds

Of loves’ glow

We slept

In blue wool

and silver stars

Amongst its’ folds

The first bird called to me

I looked up

Saw the first morning star

Shining steadily

Across the meadow

Above the trees

The early light

Caught the flash

Of the birds’ wing in flight

I woke my Moondust

Across the meadow

Is the way

The bird showed me

In its’ flight

Guiding us today

We walked through

The flowers of the meadow

Moondusts’ horse followed behind

In that early sunglow

The rush of water could be heard from afar

The meadow ended too soon

The stream could be soon

Upon it…..

The Bridge of the Morning Star

Of ancient oak tree

Carved with magical hands

Its’ trusses carved with birds

On each rail, silver stars were inlaid

A beautiful canopy of redwood

Completed this crossing

Carved on it, ancient words

“The Morning Star”

The bridge

of The Morning Star

As soon as the sun rose

Like The Morning Star

The bridge faded too

In the coming of daylight

The bluesman

The bluesman.

The bluesman
He’s up there, he’s a star
As he clutches in his hands
A battered old guitar
The bluesman knows his own damned worth
He does it in his style
And folk they come from miles around
And have done for a while

The bluesman plucks those strings
And wails his old blues harp
Then comes in with his rusty voice
Maybe he’s flat or sharp
But no one ever notices
They’re caught within his spell
When that bluesman does he’s stuff
Then in his world they dwell

With the bluesman
You get just what you see
He’s not out to impress you, man
He’s busy being He
And when he plays, he’s ‘It’ my friends
He pulls you into him
The bluesman can you hear him now?
When all the lights are dim.

First star to your empty Night

I want a love that
fills my veins like
liquid fireworks
sweet like sugar and
strong enough to knock
me off my feet, like a
mighty ocean wave, yet
gentle and magic
like the forgotten lyrics
to a nursery rhyme

I want our spirits to soar
into a bright forever
like two yellow balloons
released, by the
tiny, sticky hands
of a little child
I want, my man, to know
my true self
like the words to a favorite
song on the radio
to feel me, all that is me
rhythm bound from a beaten
street drummer

I wish to be a bright guiding light
as the first star
to your empty night
A familiar love, as
traveling back to a childhood spot
your first love kiss...
first bully fight...
first playground crush lost...

I want a love
that encompasses
my senses, envelopes me
from nothing, like the
steam from my rose petal tea
filling my pores
leaving me
rejuvenated and refreshed

A love, whom steals my worries
as a thief in the night
and greets me with doe- eyed
kisses, once rounding
up a fight

I speak these words into the
universe, to send me a love
to call my own
what path will my soul mate
travel to me, mysterious
mystical journey unknown

The Morning Star

Look toward yonder Morning Star
And follow the staircase to your dreams
Love will find you where ‘ere you are
So cast your garlands in the streams
See them catch the golden sun beams

Gaze steadily upon its brilliant light
It calls us, 'come meet the glorious dawn'
It is the prize to keep in sight
As it is from light that pure love was born
And apart, the twain shall not be torn

This path is rugged; the journey long
At times we’ll stumble and look away
We’ll be accused of the same old song
Still, we must rise each time and be on our way
Light and love for us all shall never stray

The Canvas of Night

The Canvas of Night

Stars like sprinkled sugar,
lay strewn across the canvas of night,

enthralled by the wonder of the cosmos,
my dreams take to the heavens in effervescent flight,

I bathe in the beauty, soaked in sublime delight,
absorbed in moments of bliss, transfixed by the serene sight.

Stars like sprinkled sugar,
lay strewn across the canvas of night,

and my being is infused with feelings of hope,

for even in darkness I find the sprinkled sugar of hope's light.

note: special thanks to one of my heroes, the late Dr. Carl Sagan, for making science accessible to younger me, many, many moons ago.

Beautiful, perfect, inimitable star

Most things that we know
aren't even worth knowing,
it's all pomp, and glamor,
wicked lies mind is throwing.
The ego's all shiny,
all sparkly, and bright
as it spews forth sweet lies,
turning day into night.
The bigger the better,
no losing, just win,
we must have it all,
there's no thought about sin,
as we dig ourselves deeper,
and forget who we are,
beautiful, perfect, inimitable star.

Star Shining In The Setting Sun

The sun was setting
Casting red upon rippling clouds
Rippling like the sand
The sand upon the shore
When the tide is out

There it was a phenomenon
A star shining before the sun set
It was shining a radiant green
Up there in the Western sky
Right next to the setting red sun

One more moment of awe
One more reason to believe
Only a divine creator
Could do all these wonderful
Acts of nature for man to see
