Picture Perfect

(Gentle Summer Rain)

Listen to:
light pouring silver gray
enriched thoughts fall from the sky
complete path towards-
Blissful, Delighting Peace
small ceremonial rain dance.
------------

Gentle therapeutic rain
on a warm summer day.
falls of heaven on my skin
lovely healing memory
smiling tears
embracing promise land
means of escaping
utopia in a cloud
Solace-
light mist paints the Earth

"Drizzling summer rays"
Swimming in sunshine, rain.

Silver Strands

Slate gray streets made even darker by cutting raindrops
Umbrellas popping up everywhere, people seeking shelter

But I stayed put, wanting to get drained with the rain,
then I hear this tinkling voice that says, “Don’t you just love it when it rains?!”

I look at her wearily and her eyes actually gleam with laughter
Oh geez, this lady was my total opposite. I was brooding, she was brimming.
I power-up my go away vibes, but she was like a darned magnet…
Was I the ferromagnetic one, or was she?

She gushed on the metaphor of rain in her life, and I didn’t feel like drowning.
Listening to her amidst the onslaught was so refreshing, making me thirstier…

There we were, two drenched souls, sitting on the pavement, chatting up a storm.
Of all her descriptions of rain, one in particular stood out for me…

Pearl drops strung on silver strands …

She said, “Rain for me would be silver strands streaking an otherwise somber sky…
pearl drops strung on silver strands, broken by the heavens to share with us.
See how precious it is?” Then she continued on with the metaphor for pearls…

Her words felt like windshield wipers to me, and I could see clearly now
By then, the rains had softened, and a lone pearl drop landed on her eyelashes
-that made me look closer at her eyes… her beautiful, wise, yet cloudy eyes…

I have never looked at rain the same way since then.

Bring on the Rain

There are places that I've been
that you may never see
As the steady winds are blowing
this storm brews inside of me
But the strong hand that guides me
will surely see me through
As I walk within this darkness
There is nothing left to do

I see the storm clouds gather
as the thunder starts to roll
Lightening flashes all around
as the droplets flood my soul
But when the rain has ended
the sun will shine once more
and I will then be stronger
than I ever was before

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

As everything around me rages
onto my knees I fall
I cry out in desperation
"God help me through it all"
Then this fury deep inside me
slowly starts to drift away
Though a steady rain is falling
I know I'll be okay

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

Rain

Raging rain falls down the street
Creating holes in the land a bit
Rainy, stormy, and windy days
Bring us turmoil, horror and screams.

How I wish to stop the rain from falling
In the days and nights while meditating
People overlooked the reality about rain
That it comes from the earth and naturally falls again.

The rain will drift
As our minds learn to accept
The idea that we create
Everything we partake.

Yesterday's Rain~

Today I wondered about the rain.... ....I wanted it to rain again The beauty of a chopped up sea Cobalt turquoise harmony Warm winds blow indigo Cirrus Thunder crashes intensely furious Golden skies mixed crimson setting West I admire rain-clouds shedding I miss that smell of rain and sea With loud cracks of lightening~ Gems rolling against the sand Treasures kept ....cupped in a hand Walking along a wondrous fate Losing my spirit ....I learned to hate Focusd on a thought or a specific date I felt sad inside...to have lost my mate Finding myself in a storm cloud made An impermeable will and internal shade I've finally met the marvelous Sea Stepping along the beach with me.... Had I stayed in my own little storm Completely compelled to die or conform I would not have come to realize... yesterdays rain... ...cannot touch today's skies

Smile

Hot
Tears
Stream
Down.
Lava rain on a window pane.

Pain and struggle deteriorate the mind,
clock with out a tick,
Just a waste of time.

The Devil shows in spurts
killing our inner minds,
but God lurks and
In him you will find

Your sanctuary,
little bit of heaven.

May be hidden, like
sherlock you MUST detect it,
find it.

The Holy Trinity.

Protect hearts from
The ideologies of society.
Let your mind be free.
Break titanium chains of obscurity.

Let your eyes be wise,
Visual intellectuals.
Let hearts love freely.

White Doves defying gravity with
Glistening ruby rose petals.

The great ones struggled.
Adversity rampant.
Overcame the strain.
For that,
They are heroic.

Sear ambitions in your mind,
A picture you framed it.
View it everyday
Erase pain you came with.

Angels transformed by the New Testament.

The next day comes,
Birds croon a harmonious song
As they bask in the Sun.

Angels transformed by the new testament.

Our lost ones are adding glow to the Sun.
Through fire rain and
Smoky clouds,

God's Son's rays always shine through.

Let loved ones gain
Immortality through contagious smiles
Reflecting the Light.
As we create
Our own spotlights.

Have You Ever?

Have you ever smelled the rain as a storm was getting near

then sat and watched as clouds began to appear

Have you ever heard the sounds of Gods thunderous roar

and looked to see his light along the shore

Have you ever listened to the rain when it starts pouring down feeling the flow of it
before it touches ground

Have you ever caught a breeze upon your face and somehow you new it was Our
Father's Embrace

Have you ever seen God's splendor after a storm was done when his heavens
open up and he shows his brilliant sun

Have you ever taken notice as the clouds start to divide and you see the rays of
sunshine peak over the sky

Have you ever seen his colors of grays, gold, purple and pink and wonder to
yourself how excellent God thinks

Have you ever looked at his miraculous sky when it shines so big and bright with
silhouettes of shadows beaming through the light

Have you ever seen a rainbow far above so high it goes from one end to the other
along his great big sky

Have you ever wondered how his sunlight rolls away and how his darkness
appears without dismay

Have you ever seen his display of wonders when you look into the night

and appreciated his stars above along with his moonlight

Have you ever imagined why God gave us these effects

I think it is to remind us that he deserves all respect

The Rain Effect

The rain outside my door
Its talk, a calming effect
Upon my restless spirit, implores
the need to reflect.

The rain, drenching the moors
Its pounding upon rocky crests
Like the clapping of hands, soars
Upon the senses, dissolving stress.

The rain inviting me outdoors
Its plead to leave the comfort of concepts
Exchanging the warmth of safe indoors
For the dramatic cold of clarity, intercepts.

The rain, cleansing a downpour
Its relentlessness stripping the walls erected
Around the damaged heart, explores
Upon new possibilities, wider directed.

The rain, beckoning a force
Its puddles upon my feet impress
With childlike laughter, a dance extorts
Revving the spirit, the genuine soul expressed.

I NO LONGER FEAR THE RAIN

Today if it rains,
and the skies get dark
I won't allow my spirit
succumb to it , instead I
will grab my favorite
sweater go out and walk in it.

Rejoicing with every single
droplet of rain that falls
bringing me closer to the light;
I know, I've found traces of it
In my beloved eyes.
For That treasure more precious than
Gold that many seek and may
Never find is already mine .

Folk Song of India Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees

A Folk Song of India My Video Song is also on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukRQxnYGQwQ&feature=plcp Background Note: Its a story of a worried Farmer as his fields were dry because of no rains & the season of planting Rice was passing fast. His eyes were full of tears while thinking, what he would eat & earn if he fails to plant the Rice saplings without good Rains in his fields. The song conveys feelings of an Indian farmer, who often face such situations due to lack of rains. Rains felt pity & flooded his fields or his love for Trees & Nature. Folk Song of India- Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How, he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). The clouds keep coming, But fly away and vanish soon, There are hardly few trees in the forest, Who can call and attract the clouds. To tell the clouds, The miseries of the farmer, As, clouds never overlook, The wishes of their beloved trees. But the trees could not convey and tell, The tortures and pains, they have suffered, One by one they have been cut and burned, By none other than their own nursing Man. Because of this only , The clouds often do not come, And run away without showering, When they see such humans. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How without rains he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). But that old farmer, Had planted many many trees, Thinking that the clouds, Came down on the ground. The eyes of the old farmer, Were wet and restless, Tears were appearing and were, Coming out, every now and then. The clouds hovering on the fields, Saw tears in his eyes, While wiping his tears, The clouds too began to weep. Then, it began to rain all over, And the fields got flooded soon, The old farmer raised his head, And saw towards the sky. After seeing all around, The fields flooded with water, The farmer with gratitude, Again & again touched the Rain clouds. Tears started flowing from his eyes, With happiness, And the clouds again showered more rains, To wipe the tears from the eyes of the old farmer. Then the time came to plant, The saplings of Dhaan (Rice), Without forests and their darling trees, Clouds hardly showers their love drops. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near the fields, He would again plant, Many more and more tree this time. After the rain

After the rain

Velvet green with mauve and yellow
Touches blue sky overhead
I walk along this wetland trail
With fairy feathers in my tread
Green parrots in their crazy flight
Rise and fall above the trees
Who’s branches dance in splendid rhythm
As they ride upon the breeze

The ground still moist from yesterday
When the rain came falling down
It feels all kind of downy soft
And looks so very damp and brown
As sweet brown doves search for a feed
And a raven high above
Gives out a call of loneliness
In a voice brim filled with love

The lake it glimmers sheeny, shiny
As the sun upon it beams
It sings a song of sanctity
That fills my heart with lovely dreams
And whispers words of mystery
That seep into my peaceful soul
As I walk in morning silence
Letting nature make me whole.

The Farmer and The Cowboy / Deuteronomy 11:13

The Farmer woke,
Before break of day,
And for a little rain did pray.
Then hitched his team,
And plowed the land,
Given him by the Master’s hand.

The Cowboy awoke,
And a prayer he sighed,
“Please give us rain, for the prairie is dry.”
Then in the heat,
He did rope and brand,
The cattle given him by the Master’s hand.

At night, before sleep,
The Farmer read,
The words from the Bible that God had said,
“If you’ll keep my Commandments,
In it’s season I’ll make it rain,
And you shall eat,
And your land shall fill with grain.”

The Cowboy fell asleep remembering,
A verse his Ma had read,
A promise God made and the words he said,
“Love and serve the Lord God,
And it shall come to pass,
That I shall make it rain,
And for the cattle, there shall be grass.”

So each resolved, in his own way,
To be a better man,
And follow closely the Commandments,
And there-fore save the land.

And though they never met,
They prayed for the same thing,
And watched the sky for the clouds,
And the rain that they would bring.

And though it was long in coming,
The drops fell upon the land,
And revived and refreshed these special places,
Given by the Master’s hand.

The Farmer and the Cowboy,
Each prayed for the land of which they were fond,
And through their belief, they saved the Earth,
Through the Lord’s Common Bond.

''The rain poet''

When I raise my eyes
Towards the heavens
And see rain clouds gather
I, ''the rain poet’’
Wait expectantly for the rain
To gently fall
and kiss the ground
Then my dreams can be watered
And my future can acquire
A green look
I, ''the rain poet’’
Hope that as the water trickles
It will dissolve my sorrows
My dissapointments
And carry them all
To the graveyard beneath the ground
And when the rain ceases
I, ''the rain poet’’
Will not cease penning
Rainborn inspirations

God Watered For Me

One light clap
Then boom, boom
Wind, rain, storm

Willow threw her head back and laughed as the wind whipped her hair
Large raindrops then faster, smaller and plentiful
All the earth was singing praises, the song of the ages, all the earth sang praise

Delighted at the wind~ going out under the eves of the house
Breathing in the moist air, enjoying the zephyr blowing
I was singing praises, the song of the ages, I was singing praises

Two months since we had any rain to amount to much
All was dry, the plants and trees were hurting, the garden needed rain
Those irrigating hoses just don't bless the earth like rain

The clouds linger the moist air floats about
Birds of the air are quiet relishing each moment
Thanksgiving today for God watered for me

Maids of Rain

The buds were colorful like flames;
in blooming field while her advent
down pouring was, and flow in veins.

Unspoken were on distant sky;
(the maids' descent - rainfall god-sent) ,
splendid on fields, pure drops fell spry;
..................

The clouds in solitude advanced
while raindrops formed air-hung new tropes
enduring bold color-enhanced
dew-scintillate the ferns on slopes.

On thrumming feast they jump and smile
the drops upon the road that shines
the orange trees in lines compile
dawn's maidens dance and weave designs.
..................

Maids' ardent symphony of calls
from within rainfall's calm cadence
- they gallivant in heavens' Halls
Ideal forms on pristine dance.

The raindrops I transform to song,
sweet melody fates play - the leaves,
entreaty are that strings along
my blooming solitude they weave.

Elayne will dance

Elayne will dance; she holds a long white rope,
above our heads - in air aloneness spreads,
cold rain pours on damp ground - the circus' dead,
remote's the emptiness - devoid the scope.

Elayne will dance! High on the ropes upheld;
through acrobatics, apt, her act perfects,
she lifts to skies, her bold routine projects
the tears of wind that blows will be withheld.

Inside the air, ropes thrum upon the mast,
we both had lived ten years before this sound
we laughed there hung, in void, above the ground
the rags now wave to gallivant miscast.

Inside the winds she posed; admired Elayne
will dance; the ropes keep thrumming on the mast;
will hang in void; beguiled, unearthly trust,
spectators watch Elayne's hung wraith in strain.

"Address my love when nimbus rain on Earth
I'll dance with you in fields of heather,
because your soul beholds my eyes forever
and stars are embers of a longing hearth."

A skyward streamlet to expend in space,
admired Elayne departs in splendid glow;
rags wave, the thin mistle kisses my brow ,
- she followed the drops paths to upwards trace.

carousel in roundel

The carousel round goes to circle feasts
The scent of dusk is solitude's primrose
- beloved her stare with light shall fade in mists
- the carousel round goes.

And the enfolding of the silence slows
forsooth advances her response sole kissed
betimes the corteges of night depose.

Disporting round trajectories persist
their merriment of altered times disclose;
- Two loving forms in raindrops dance amidst,
- the carousel round goes.

My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

Broken Pen

Broken pen

I wanted to write the truth that came from my heart but in the end I wrote the problems that been eating me from the start. Can you image the pen writing solely for this purpose just to be knocked down by my own thoughtless words? Those unwritten words, those shreds from my heart, the pointless promises, and the overbearing confident, how did I manage to corrupt them all?
Hiding from my own pain while I hurt other, is this not the demon I create?
No more a hypocrite then you is lost filled. Stampede, riot, tear down, these are how I describe my own action. My own words burned me, my own words destroyed me, my own words bound me, and my own words create a world filled with my own lies. Funny isn't it? Destroyed by the very thing I created. Be I Frankenstein and my word Frankenstein such a reference defies me to the point of fear. Forgive and forget, walk into the sun and burn, become my bride and let’s walk toward a moon rising wonder. I struggle to find out who I am and who we are but won’t this lead me to my grave? Is it a mission I wish to take and for who sake? Dreaming for an innocent heart but done so imperfectly it too late. Let my unwritten words love me and lose me, damaging me with blue fires, be forgotten from my memories and sleepless night trying to recover. Such a helpless thing as I watch a demon take me away and bring me back from time to time again. Bloody mask full of lies, full of fear, and tears. Where does the words fly to once I forget them, I wrote my own truth and the heart filled problems that had eaten me. What a way to use my broken pen .

Set To Sea

"Set To Sea"

No more rain that taste like tears...
Took my sorrows that I buried in years...
Placed them in a bottle and sent them to sea...
Hoping the tide will carry them far away from me...
Maybe to an island where other bottles hold the same..
A place where pain and sorrow is never a game...
Now the rain is just a cool reminder of a different time...
A refreshing drop of water that tastes only of happy signs.
So let it rain, I will lay under it and let it awake and inspire me...
So I can write and play and never dread the rain and thank the sea...
A little more insight to how I love and how I blow off steam....
I play with words and love others to read and follow my dreams...

WORRY WART

Why sit and worry over things,
That seem to happen daily;
Little things that come and go,
That just annoy us, really?

Why get angry over certain things,
That those around us do;
'Cause people make mistakes sometimes,
And life's too short to stew,

O'er things that sometimes come about,
Without a soul to blame,
'Cept Happen-stance and Circumstance,
For want of other names.

To fume and worry constantly,
Makes mind and body sicken.
It doesn't solve a single thing.
It takes the joy from livin';

For God has deemed that rain will fall,
On fair and foul alike,
And what can grow without the rain,
As well as warm sunlight;

So take the rain and praise the Lord,
For sunlight and for showers,
And thank Him every day that dawns,
For blessings He's made ours.

"BUT I SAY TO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, BLESS THEM THAT CURSE YOU, DO GOOD TO THEM THAT HATE YOU AND PRAY FOR THEM THAT DESPITEFULLY USE YOU AND PERSECUTE YOU; THAT YE MAY BE THE CHILDREN OF YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN; FOR HE MAKETH HIS SUN TO SHINE ON THE EVIL AND THE GOOD, AND SENDETH RAIN ON THE JUST AND ON THE UNJUST."
                               Matthew 5:44-45

In other words be grateful what you have and don't sweat the small stuff.
Everybody has problems, you ain't unique.

A Man on a Hill

Far in the distance a man stands on top of a large green hill, hair blowing back,
His head is in his chest, his chin resting on his ribs, he stares at the ground,
The wind is unyielding carrying flecks of rain like sand in a hard desert storm,
This man is searching and lifts his head, his eyes open, they are slits of blue.

Who is this man who gazes towards horizons, across the four corners of the land,
He has stood many days in the same spot, the only movement, is his head seeking,
But he waits, a silhouette in the evening, a shadow in the morning, a man by day,
What quest requires so much patience, so much trust and belief, it must be faith.

After a few days, I get used to the man on the hill, in all weathers except heat,
Violent storms, bolts of zig-zag lightening, burn the nearby grass but not the man,
Heavy blizzards of snow, blowing side ways, creating white hills, on high mounds,
Hail and torrential rain fills the air and rips through the high lands across fields.

Who is this man upon the high hill who does not move for any of natures torments,
What can be so important that he stands both day and night unmoving, unflinching,
To stare at nature hard in the face like a challenge knowing he will never win or leave,
His search is for hope, honesty and purity, it's so hard to find small seams of gold.

Flying High In The Aqua-Blue Sky

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I see a black and white checkered kite…
floating higher and higher than I, myself…
But, I was shoved
Into another shelf…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
2 birds were flying together in harmony… it made me smile
If only…I could fly another mile…
If only…I could higher my smile…
If only…I could fly higher
If only…I could taste ecstasy…
people would accuse me as a liar
If I experienced the best day of my life…

But, I don’t wanna live with undying strife…
I want peace…
Hand it over, please…
Hand me the keys
So I could experience perpetual peace

I took flight like those bird couples…
But, I was on an airplane…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I wouldn’t be greedy for gain…
I’m trying to act sane…
But, I’m actually insane
In many ways…I love my uniqueness…
And my stubbornness… and my gladness…
And my madness… my imagination goes wild
But, I need to put it on a leash…so I could remain mild

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’d feel the rain
Trickle down my hands…my wet, wrinkly hands

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
No one would understand
How awesome and wonderful I’ve felt that day…
Up there…
up there…I felt like a king…
But, now I lost that memory…I lost my ring
To success…but I’m willing to pick up my progress…
My pace…is slow like a snail’s pace
Do you see me crying? Just look at my face…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’m the clouds absorbing tears

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’d be willing to release them…

but they’ve been stored up forever it seems
And…hell – I have been
Shaking with fear…
Breaking by the seams

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I was……..
Daydreaming again…
My mind was stuck on cloud 7…
Thank heavens
That I’m still alive – staring into space
Just look at my sopping face…

I see no grace…I see only a pathetic face
In the mirror…….

This little dream of mine
Was rather sublime
I was a sweet boy,
but now I’m sour like lime

If I were a bird,
I'd fly away from my problems...

I'll flutter away
Without a care in the world...

I want to be happy-go-lucky...
But, I'm bound to submit to my

Misery.............................

And the Rains Came

The spring rain pounds on the roof’s asphalt shingles
washing the maple pollen from porches and cars
just moments ago dusted with puce green.

A tumult of rain twirls the waterwheel
on the garden’s ornamental mill house,
splashing merrily into an over-flowing pool.
Freshly planted pansies and impatiens
turn-up their faces for a morning wash,
their nascent root systems drink with glee.
Newly seeded bare spots suck greedily
at the nectar of God, hoping, against hope,
to drink enough to germinate and survive.

The black cat’s tracks, muddy and precise
mar the freshly washed porch floor
And men, made of weaker stuff,
with the melting minds of sugar,
shelter their skin, shrink from the bath,
huddle inside houses and stores
watching, waiting, and wondering,
when the break will come
and we can again
run free in a world
 of sunshine!

Surreality

Flowers in a valley faraway,
Wind carries them as butterflies in the day.

Meteors through raindrops fall so slow,
Forming rainbow tails from the solar eclipse’s glow.

Beneath the cosmos and earthly sky.
Floral butterflies ascend towards the showers and fly.

Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud

I hear silent whispers in the wind
“Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come
To see what
I see”
What nonsense is this
All I know is what I will come to see
Will be the shining light of the sun
As the night comes to an end
The bright sun will come up
So I wait for that light to guide me
After the long dark night
But upon morning there is no shining sun to greet me
It is hidden by foreboding black storm clouds
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I look to those clouds and only see beauty
For they bring rain do they not
And rain will wash this dirty earth
And moisten the cracked dirt
With this luscious rain it brings life
To the dead ground
This rain reminds me that through all of the pain regrets and mistakes
You can still be washed anew
Just watch the rain to wash it all away
Forget about yesterday and let the new and beautiful begin
Open your heart to what you never expected
Maybe something magnificent will happen
You'll never know until you try
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I know that I am still here
But at the moment just hidden away
in this shell of a person I have become
But like those clouds
This shell will soon be gone
And the sun inside will burst out with
Shinning and beautiful light
Just like the one that sits inside my heart
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
Time will bring this friendship to a close
But only for a short while
Until then I will remember the lesson
I have learned
Beauty Joy and laughter are not
Always going to be shinning brightly
Nor will they always be loud
Sometimes they are Muted and dimmed
But it does not mean that they are gone
Now I can say those far off distan whispers
Were from my own heart
Just hidden away
Like I was that long ago day
Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come to see what
I see
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you

wether to weather stormy weathers,
crucial to any understandings.
dire to decision,
more like a feeling never mentioned.
heavy to the struggle;
when the weight of the world is on your shoulder,
rise above the storm,
rise above the norm.
critical to the lifestyles,
hard to choose where to begin.
to wait till' the sun shines,
not waiting for the tears to rain.
so many unaware;
the choice you have to make,
the effect it has on you and everybody.
to stress getting through,
to make the right changes.
better to mve on,
don't linger on the problem.
not to get undertow by the trials and tribulations.

The Sunshine

The Sunshine

The Sunshine was not far away from me in the sky,
Surrounded by clouds,
It was piercing them, to spread its light.
My dreams and hopes too are rising like sea waves,
Touching the sky,
Oh, in such a lovely mood, I can feel the rain of love
As defusing golden light
Coming right from the Sunshine’s illuminating light,
Falling on me like the first rain droops,
And embracing me with love and pleasure
Which perhaps I can not define.

The Golden Cup

there he sat, still an Restless
under the muddy light post
on the Slimy, Cruel hill

the Dust blew in a daze
and Mud spat in his face
the Rain began.

there he watched his home Bury away
his mother, father, sister, and son
fly deep into the waves

the Fog sat in, and sat thick
while the Wind roared in wheezing and pushing
the rain kept on

then came a rich, beautiful man
bearing a clean red cross on his chest
his smile sympathetic, but reason hollow

Depression crept in, slow and quiet
picked a spot and was made comfortable
the Rain crashed hard

but there, behind the clean blond hair
over the mud, and past the dirt
a smooth, white cloud beckoned.

his heart, blackened and crushed.
the Rain, deep and dark inside, had Stopped.

Breaking Free

Folded closed, and left behind, .... perhaps for someone else to find... Perhaps the gentle rain is kind enough to wash away a threadbare heart, a broken dream, from yesterday... enchanting me to believe within, to entertain the child again A time to take a step apart, and time to grow, to break the hold where, once before, life shivered cold, beneath the shelter of the old Step past what eyes might estimate, with cleansing mists across the face to christen slates with glistening, new,... paths refreshed with pearls of dew. Listen to the whispered winds, the sweet refrains,of falling rain, as if I were a child again. Begin the walk where raindrops dance beneath the feet, in rainbow hue and mirrored worlds, where twin skies meet, as puddles ripple in the street where passers by, forget to see the beauty in a world scrubbed clean Stamp the feet to make a splash, while those around you make a dash With diamonds in the morning light, to quench a tongue in sheer delight To be as one, with earth and sun, and know that rain can be a friend hold up the hands to catch the sky,...the inner child is waiting in the wings

Kiss the Rain

Time off from the chaotic rhythm of the office
Exhausted from a long day’s work
Never mind, for tomorrow is a chance to peep
In the blue haze of early morning

Another day, another chance
Of a wishful thinking of the seventh heaven
That a Godsend may soon fall to earth in drops
To break the silence of the morning

I need the rain to accompany me
And lull me into a deep therapeutic easiness
Unbosoming the thoughts of turning back time
Between playful stomping and dancing on water puddles

The cloud drifted on to reveal a blinding cloudburst
The first sign of a light drizzle gave hope
Therefore, I looked upward to the gossamer layers of clouds
As railing rains trickle down my face
I opened my parched lips and closed my eyes to kiss the rain

Sometimes I Like To Pretend Things Never Came To A End

Sometimes I like to pretend, things never came to a end. But over time, our love became a crime. I didn't know what we had, would ever end so bad. But then I knew things weren't right, when we started to fight. Now I walk down memory lane all the time, the pain is worst then committing a crime. We only caused eachother pain, but we were eachothers maine. I thought things would be alright, but I cried alot that night. I don't want things to change, without you my life is strange. You said you wanted me so much it started to hurt that you couldn't wait, now im just another person you hate. When you said you didn't care, I knew the person I loved was no longer there. You aren't the same, the new you is lame. We both fell, now it's hell. You use to always be here for me, like family. But now your nowhere in sight, things aren't right. Empty is all that I can feel, I still can't believe this is real. I didn't mean to let you get away, I didn't know what to say. Am i with the right guy, or am i telling myself a lie. I was afraid to loose what we had, but to you that choice was bad.

Exist in Dreams

A dream that dances in waves, and mirrors all you do
So you dance, and hope that some day the song will come from you
This dream is all that exists, and all you’ve ever known
The song is picking up speed, so it’s follow or fail alone

A flame that flickers in sync with the shadows by your side
The rain puts out the light, and causes you to hide
This nightmare is all that exists, and all you’ve ever known
But this song still hasn’t stopped, and so you dance alone

You cherish sand on the banks of a path winding through a storm
This desert trail is all that you see; too blinding to look beyond
This path is all that exists, and the only way to go
Holding close the sand as you sing, just so you’re not alone

The sand is part of the storm that makes you close your eyes
But now the wind starts to slow, and the scenery makes you cry
This life is all that exists, and the only way to go
The sand falls through your hands, and you carry on alone

A love that blooms into being beneath the darkest skies
Is a life that will venture out despite the lonely nights
So scared, but so unafraid to find what you need to be
Despite the fear that prevails, and tells you what to see

The flames steady and still, and a shadow kneeling down
The rain cleansing your heart as all your fears drown
The sand creating a path, and shielding you from pain
And now, with the wind at your back, you remember why you came

To dream a light shining out for all the world to see
To be more than you think, and beyond all that will be
To create a desire to be the creators of our dreams
To become the mirror of self, and reflect our unity

Life

I was the sunshine that cradled your day
that tried to push the clouds away
I was the sand that ran between your toes
when you were four years old
that soon became the rain you danced in
from seven to eleven
And I watched you grow in the glow
of a moon that beamed
when you turned thirteen
How unfair you thought I'd become
when you turned twenty-one
because you lost a few dreams
But I stayed awake when you were out late
I was the stars 'till you turned twenty-eight
And when you found your love
"the one"
I was glimmer in the eye, the blue sky, the sun
Then you turned thirty-one
I became cloud, thunder and shower
there weren't enough minutes to put in your hour
You forgot how to dance in the rain
'till you turned forty all you did was complain
Then you took off your shoes
and went back to the sand
I was now the warmth of your child's hand
At forty-three
you spent more time with me
You began
to understand
And when you stood fifty years old
you stayed warm to me even though
at times I was cold
How close we grew
when you turned sixty-two
The breeze was I
that hung your grandchild's kite in the sky
And I'm sorry I made you sad
when I took "the one" away
But I was proud
when you pushed aside that cloud
and cradled 'me' in the sun
for the remainder of our day

A Rainy Day Hoedown

It was raining outside our window
And the kids were inside moping around
That’s when the idea hit me
To throw our first rainy day hoedown

I kicked off my bedroom slippers
Rolled up the legs to my long pants
Went outside where they could see me
And in the rain I started to dance

They watched, laughing from the window
Thinking Dad has finally lost his mind
Then their mother came out to join me
Splashing in the biggest puddle that we could find

One by one they joined the hoedown
As the rain continued to pour
When the sun, at last, broke through the clouds
They yelled, “Oh please, let it rain some more!”

Cloudy days no longer bothered them
As they journeyed into their adult life
And we still have rainy day hoedowns
With me do-si-do-ing with my wife

The Sieve of Time

The Sieve of Time

Cast ashore,
along the banks of time,

whirling through the passing years,
clinging to my futile scribbles set in rhyme,

Cast ashore,
thrust into an unrehearsed pantomime,

clenching slivers of joy as weariness descends,
lulled into a peaceful slumber exhilaratingly sublime.

Cast ashore,
hazily adrift, a dandelion seed on the wings of time,

trapped in the sieve of spiralling memories,
caught between pristine bliss, and reeking slime.

Cast ashore,
flung aside for no discernible crime,

my human heart thuds with elusive hope,
though battered, bruised, and covered in grime,

I stagger ashore,

alone,

embracing each moment of detached, oblivious time.

The Poet

I have gazed long at the turbulent
  while piled high cloud masses
I have watched the millions of stars at night
the damp fog has come and surrounded me
and the land is silent
the fresh rain has laved my face
while the wind blew warmly.

I receive no message from these for humankind
  but hear only their message to me;
for they awaken the wonder that is in me
in addition, the yeaning that is the depth of my soul.

They do not tell me to scatter my words
  through the world like seeds
rather, they say, Behold! be of us
and wing out beyond the world forever
and in my soul the deep yearning pleads for the
  fulfillment of its' aching desire
to go with the sun, moon and the stars
and seek with them the answer to eternity.

But still the clouds, ebon faced, mass against
the fiery red rays of the setting sun
the stars, far distant, in space, still glitter
  brightly in the patterns
the fog, white by day, grey by night
moves yet noiselessly on, giving intimacy
to near things, and strangeness to
those looming on the edge of vision
the rain falls yet too, cleansing and releasing
the perfume of the wet earth.

So I write
letting the words of my unrest
go freely where they would
  for each word is deflection
from the longing within me
of all the voices I must heed and may not.

However, I cannot write in the dark
I cannot write as I stand on the hill gazing
yet the yearning is there most of all
  therefore! I say aloud, convincingly
"It is only lovely"
to wander on through the night and day
and the years.

Our Divine Haven

This town was the place we used to call our haven
You don’t remember which road we’ve driven on
The stars were shining against your cherished soul
You’re a part of my belongings
You’re ascending above the ground
The peace is still like hidden treasure – it’s bound to be found

I believe in you…I put my faith in you
After the miracles you’ve performed
You don’t agree with what you truly are
The sky is grieving
You jump from puddle to puddle
You’re struggling to meet your destiny
Even if your body is saturated in sweat
You must keep your head above the sea

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
I could tell you've been stressing out
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me

Each melody is an exquisite sound that bounces into our ears
Commotion and strife will cease and your heart will be free
We’ll flee together…despite the unwholesome weather
The voyage has just begun…hold my hand and we’ll rise like the sun
Trust me…we will be strengthened and well-equipped before we take that road of victory

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You’d rather be drifting away and never be seen again
I wanna change your mind and erase your frown
Take your mind off of the distressful past
Let loose your strain on me

Hey! I know you’re stronger than you realize
You’re not a failure – don’t be disheartened
Don’t worry…you and I will earn our future prize
This mess will clear up in a moment
Just stay by my side and never depart
From the light… I promise that we’ll endure till the end
Just stay nearby and our hope won’t tear apart
We are willing to do anything to attain our wishes and delight
Let’s take action and snatch our glory before our time is up

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You've been trying to keep a steady pace
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me

Let loose your stress on me…
Don’t be under pressure
Let me handle your anxiety…
Reach towards our divine haven
Do you need a helping hand?

I wish you a carefree
Future

soft rain

Soft Rain

I like rain, not hard, angry rain with an attitude
who, was neglected by the mother cloud, and
angrily show its hate towards those who had
nothing to do with its misbegotten infanthood.
No I´m thinking of soft rain that is like a caress,
a kiss of eternities promises.

And nature is still, this is a moment of rapture
a longing for so long denied blissfully fulfilled.
The dampness of my skullcap and my alpaca
jacket is so soft that it almost feels like oil, but
I know I´m just a spectator under an umbrella
who ought to go home and lit the fire.

Spring Showers

when earth cries
its tears fall upon us
not tears of sadness, really
tears to cleanse the horror
that it has seen that year
to wash away the pain
and the blood that has stained its surface
a revival
so it can last one more year
the ugly must be swept away
so the beauty can be seen
or else we might not notice
amazing
we might only notice
fear
so the bad must be swept away
so the good can return
so the showers must fall
so the flowers will bloom

A Love Thought

The rain fall softly apon the roof.
The drops you hear hitting as they fall far out the sky.
My thoughts of you are there also.
As I daydream of a love of far.
It is not near as you are not in my arms to hold.
But somewhere far that I can not touch your heart.
Touch that of your skin and feel it beat.
As ours thump in one accord I hear the sound of your voice call out for love.
That of a man her heart desires to feel his touch.
As his is to be near and love forever, even in darkness.
But there I stare into a light of bright that in my heart you exsist.
That in my life I have found something just as beautiful as the world.
As I have found you and the beauty you are.
That you make my heart go pitty, patter with wild thoughts of you.
But more important, they are thoughts of you.
And wishing you was here as the rain dance above my head.
Enjoying each moment you stole of my heart.
That I would love you in many ways and not just in sexual way.
But all the way with my heart I would love thee.

Rain Drop

It is that of the rain to which falls.
That of a winter wind to which blows.
It is of the rain drop to which started this day.
Not that of a sun shine but that of a doom day.
It is of something wet as it is a mist from that to have formed.
That of water from the ground to which that cloud had form.
There I lay, with a thought of you this day.
As the rain beat lightly on the roof top it runs this day.
You would think that far up, the rain drops would hit harder.
But it’s there with gentleness to which God watches its fall.
As the leaves turn color and it is of a winter fall.
It’s there; I’m curled in the sheets.
Wishing you was at my needs.
As it is with my heart to which reins for you.
That it’s there to which my heart sweats for you.
Touches of gentle kindness as you bring that of warmth about.
It’s there the drops fall as it moistens the ground.
A rein out from a howl inside, that with a growl for love.
It’s there I want to experience drops with you.
As the rain covers the windows on the down fall through.
Not of cold rain but that of a heat of passion with an explode.
That we rain in which is a sweat of wetness and an explode!
As we would take the day off and enjoy that of the rain he gave.
And make it that not of a rainy day but that of love droplets of spray.

She

She

She smiled, gently,
her warmth infusing me,
with a serene stillness of time.

She settled, slowly,
in my waking thoughts,
a soothing balm of simple joy.

She remains, scribbled,
on the walls of my fractured heart,
memories of happiness that once breathed...

Within Me

Within Me

Flowing through the rivulets of my everyday thoughts,
memories of you surface, gasping for air, breathing in,
permeating, absorbed by the pores of my ageing skin.

Famished, greedily gulping mouthfuls of fractured life,
awash in distant yesteryear, when your feathery kisses,
banished the vacuum, dispelling my anguish and strife.

You are eternally carved, and embroidered into my soul,
I wash ashore, smashing against the boulders of the now,
seeking solace, begging for absolution with my empty bowl.

The book of fate is sealed shut, the tea-leaves have been read,
nothing remains within me, the burden of smiling has been shed.

Now I am stranded, between dreams and the empty years ahead,
searching for forgiveness, in the miles I have yet to wearily tread.

The Growth Of A Wildflower (Composed by Evin Brown For Me)

All through the young years of one Wildflowers life, she had been introduced to all the
darkest colors. Even when the wind picked her up and carried her away the shady colors
followed. And then, rain. And the rain did not stop as it danced against her colorful and
majestic petals.
The Wildflower was sad, and her condition was deepening. Instead of the dark colors
leaving, they would fade. Showing what the Wildflower could attain, teasing her as she felt
helpless while the shade played it's games. The Wildflower began to wilt.
But the Wildflower is strong and little did she know, all her life the sun was coming to stop
the rain and bring the brighter colors. All the things she dreamt of were on there way.
The Wildflower never lost hope, and when the sun arrived, she perked up and stared in to
his face to take in all his warmth and comfort. She stood in an amazing array of beauty and
fantasia of colors. Nothing you could ever see is as beautiful or ever will be. This is truely
spectacular.

No struggle can change the fantasia that is named Taylor Jenkins.

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya - My Beloved Has Returned Home

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya (My Beloved Has Returned Home)

Autumn:

the leaves fell, as you left, a bleak chill wafting across the barren space within my being,
you left, taking your smile and mine,
my smile rests with you still, leaving a void impossible to fill.

Winter:

pangs of longing consumed me, my only company in the frigid nights,
my tears remain frozen, within,
unable to fall from my broken eyes, as I searched the depths of the cold, harsh skies.

Spring:

birds returned home, though you did not, and I felt soothing rebirth all around,
memories of you began blazing, their embers stoked,
and at last the tears rolled, like ink on this blank notebook, my whole being pined for you, my very self in anguish silently shook.

Summer:

alive I felt again, the promise of the coming cooling rain, easing the heat of desire,
yet the furnace slowly raged inside, your absence tearing into me, shattering my nights, my longing for you soaring unfettered across the skies,
dancing on clouds, blissfully free,

Monsoons:

heaven itself opened, the deluge an unending dream,
rain falling all around, mingling with my flowing tears,
and then I saw you, you returned, and I embraced you, never wishing to let you go,
and though I may wear the mask of the clown,
if you were to leave again,
my very soul, would quietly slip away, and in the monsoon rains, I would gratefully drown.

Heavens divine song

Tranquil sounds of rain collides with concrete.
Birds flee to refuge. A grey skin covers the body of the sky.
The rhythm of rain beating on roofs,
in sync with my heart beat.

Droplets of rain trickling down window shields.
Rain surreptitiously creeping through
the cracks of a slightly open window.

Roses at peace,
their rosy red heads upwards.
listening to the rains song, fervid rain.
Rain embolden the land,
embolden us sound of tranquility.
Songs of tranquil rain,wet moist,
peace,tranquil songs,calming the soul.
Sounds of tranquility dropped from divinity.
For this peaceful song I have an affinity.

In my cool bed, I lay enjoying my companions
femininity, as she embraces my masculinity.
Wet rain drips, wet rain drips, falling from divinity.
We kiss to the song of tranquility.

School Dayz

I open up my window
To feel the cool morning breeze
The screen gently pats my nose
Gray skies are all I see.
Then little spurts of rain
Begin to dance upon my face
Through the screen they come
As silence holds this place.
The ground darkens in an instant
With millions and millions of drops
Of rain that have come to quench
The earth until it's time to stop.
Soon the sky becomes a brighter gray
The rain begins to taper off
Parking lot lights remain lit
As early drivers pull off.
It's just after 7:30 am
Voices begin to fill the air
Echoes of laughter bounce off the walls
I gaze in wonder and stare.
Vibrant and full of energy
Children come to run and play
Chasing each other, dropping book bags
Ready to start another day.
Busses arrive with engines roaring
Their lights flashing bright red
The children soon gather together
Boarding the bus with kissed heads.
Precious are the lives of children
Their cares and worries few
Bringing joy and happiness
Every day to people like me and you.

Port of Call

Port of Call

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

with the breath of the ocean a caressing balm,
soothing pained memories away,
to the swaying of a solitary palm.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

feeling the brushing away of all past turmoil,
on a quest for solace, ever so hard to find,
yet comforted by the crashing of the waves,
as the tide cleanses all pain,
and leaves despair far, far behind.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

drenched in a sea-breeze of mist,
that hushes the ache of bygone moons,
tasting the salty tang on my lips,
as the burnished sun,
over the distant horizon,
swoons,

and dips.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

searching, ever searching,
for a slice of solitude,
as memory bids a final adieu,
reaching under the sea so vast,
and seeking comfort in the depths,
while embracing,
the tomorrows to come,
wishing that they be true.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

seeing my truths drown,
as they slip beneath the turquoise waters,

feeling my heart ablaze,
with a passion that rarely falters.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

yet knowing that I am home at long last,
wishing the waves would wash away,
the defences that once stood,
like an impregnable wall.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

I have found, at long last,

my final port of call.

This Nornalup

I stand there on this patio
And watch the river flow
As grey skies in the heavens
Do hide suns warming glow
Tall trees like giants on yonder shore
Stand as icons to the power
That made this earth so beautiful
With it’s trees, and clouds and flowers.

Five boats lie on the grassy bank
As they wait to ride the river
As motor boat comes speeding by
To my eyes it does deliver
A breath of action to the scene
So silent, soft and still
And everything feels wonderful
And wonderful I feel.

Some fishing folk fix up their boats
A day of sport they see
While me, I watch the river flow
The whole day, endlessly
As I ponder on the magnitude
And the power of this scene
In the loveliness of Nornalup
On this morning so serene.

Sun and Rain

The sun came out for a little while

On a somewhat gloomy day

There's more rain to the south of us

which may just head our way

But the flowers and bushes, the trees and the like

Are enjoying the water that fell

They're nourished by the H2O

their green leaves show the tell

A rainbow stretched across the sky

As the sun began to set

And with sunshine in the forecast

On one thing you sure can bet

That tomorrow morning you'll hear a voice

Mumbling in the garden

For the weeds, they grow here also

Without regret or pardon

So the cycle of summer now begins

It's march toward the autumn

Then winter covers all the land

Until spring begins to thaw them

Then the flowers and trees, bushes and the like

Will spring to life once more

The sun will warm the Earth right up

And the rain will once again pour

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg…

…With sighs of torrential passion,
the heavens shower teardrops,

weeping with me,
as memories of you come cascading back,

skin on skin, ablaze,
moist kisses, fiery,
gentle whispers of undying love, murmured,

in another life, another time,

far removed from my present, a desolate state of despair,
wallowing in the grime.

…

The rain keeps falling,
each teardrop stinging my face,

tasting the salt on my lips,

I wonder, do you still remember the caresses of my fingertips,

between breathy confessions, and vows of eternal love,

before you left me, stranded on an island of solitude,

wounded as a wingless dove,

bereft of life,
stripped of all traces of fortitude

Rain Drops

The rain drop falls to the ground not making a sound.
Hundreds follow. Falling round and round.
The children play and laugh in the water falling down.
They soon run in the house when the thunder brings the sound.

The wind comes and takes the rain drops by force.
The tame, quiet rain drops become a storming chorus.
The clouds go by black and gloom.
The winds stop. No plip plop.

 Then the rain drops resume.
The first fell and the others followed.
The earth welcomed them thirstily and swallowed.

The world wouldn't have been restored and the beauty would not have come
if the actions of one had not been done.
Next time you see the rain drops remember they're followers
who saw the actions of one.

Take the lead like the first drop
  or nothing will be done.

He carries me up the stairs in his arms,
I can feel his heartbeat increase,
Still, he smiles at me with ease.
Outside the sun's rays pierce like arrows.
He says that he'll be fine,
And says, "You'll be mine".
It suddenly begins to rain upon us,
I say that the rain cannot hide his tears,
He tells me he shall conquer all my fears.
The rain stops but over the puddles he tries to jump,
"Please marry me", he begs,
"I would darling if I had legs."

A Tender Moment At The Supermarket

Sitting there watching them
they had no idea
they were such an inspiration
so comfortable with eachother.

He, at least 85
she, about the same.
From my car I could see
the way he worried about her
as he pulled his car up to the door
so she wouldn't get wet.
He tenderly watched
while she tucked her hair
under her clear rain bonnet.

The rain was barely a trickle
but it was a cold rain
and he wouldn't have her
catching a chill.
She waited
just inside the door
while he parked the car
a sky blue 1976 Bonneville.
They probably bought it
brand new.

His steps were slow
and purposeful.
I could tell he hurt
but was trying to still
be the ''protector''
of his beautiful bride.

They walked into the store
arm in arm
while I sat for a few more minutes
alone in my car
listening to the whish-whish
of my wipers.

Canopy Of Cedars

Canopy of Cedars across the road
Offers a covering, a protection
Little rain upon it this morn abode
But in open field raindrops reflection

The field of Cedars was coated damp, too
Saturated with moisture from night's rain
Delightful morn to enjoy the gray hue
Solitude awhile definitely my gain

Solitude for the soul, inner being
Lifts, restores, refreshes spirit cleanses
Mourning Dove coos melodious singing
Alone but not alone soul appeases

Spilling and giving inner resources
As rain of the night gave its cadences

Onslaught

The rain has stopped
But I am saddened by the sudden, brilliant onslaught of sunshine,
Although the apple trees, drenched and dripping
                   In the steaming orchard,
              Glisten in almost painful beauty.

The rain was comforting while it lasted
              It suited my gray mood,
For I was caught up in reveries of blue yesterdays
And I traveled into the nether lands of despair
                 Where regret and sorrow dwell.

But now the sun touches every corner of the landscape,
                           Banishes melancholy
And will not be cast aside.

Gold dances on the perimeter of darkness
And hope most sweetly is restored.

Rain

I raise my head to the heavens
praying for rain
washing away the tears, I shed
for this world of pain

I go to sleep depending on something better
but to my disdain
I wake up, only to discover
more of the same

the world's harsh reality
shows itself daily
only to hold me captive
as I wonder what happened

the life I once knew
a young tike
a baby boy
so free, playing with toys

so easily assured
so easily comforted
that everything would be well
even when I couldn't tell

I flashback, seeing the rainbows
after the rain showers
and I remember the growth
of the grass and flowers

I didn’t like rain
back in those days
but now, rain is a sign
that things can grow in time

Star seeding

How many nights awake as thoughts tumble so fast from the heavens that sense just needs to
be made?
Grab the pad always nearby, for when the rains come
and pour your heart out with them.
It’s understated to say inspired,
conversations with clouds,
allowed and understood.
Good. When that thunder rolls you know that flash is going to illuminate a lot.
All you’ve got
is a few minutes to get that down, a word a code a sign.
To remind your mind again.
It’s like that for all of us, but we,
we who have learned to pay attention,
not to mention
that we like it,
we listen. That’s all it is.
Nothing mystic
or fatalistic in it.
We like to dance naked in the rain.
And let that rain wash right through us.
We’re not afraid of lightning, we know it comes from the Earth.
And we’re rooted there. Deep.
So keep
your judgments to yourself about what’s right.
There ain’t no St. Peter checking for baptismal certificates at the Pearly Gate.
And Fate
can be re-written any time by intent.
Well meant
wishes sent to you do good and keep you strong.
So that rain of inspiration won’t burn you up, keep you watered long
After you’ve apologized.
So we let it through in verse, in muse, in story disguised
As truth. Star seedings through us all
Watching as seeds fall
And sprout in the rain
on Earth.

Spring and sharks

Spring and Sharks.

It is spring nature is green and there are many
variations of verdant, fluffy, shining to sober
olive, with emerald and jade in between.
Yellow is not in to day except for the sun that
shines and rain which is clear as laughter of joy.
Yet I think of lemon sharks that reside in
the Caribbean Sea, they live in shallow water
give birth to little ones; sharks can be avoided
by not swimming in their sea.

There was a knock on my door, a man nicely
dressed, tried to sell me insurance, something
to do with paying for my funeral.
But spring is here and my thoughts are not
morbid. He left me with a brochure of the price
of coffins and the cost of flowers….
It is raining now, gentle rain good for potatoes
and beans, sharks belong to the sea and should
not going around knocking on people´s doors.

Seed of Birth

Moments to Reflect
Seed of Birth
After a summer shower I watch the wonders unfold Gods truth is being shown. His love for all shall be known to all who have eyes that can see. The miracle of life that is a delight to behold can be seen in a drop of rain on the end of a leaf. Sparkling like a diamond in the light, more precious than gold, a secret is told. The water of life, without it we cannot go on the earth would be has dry has a bone. A desert: a waste land as hot as Hades and not fit to be called home. The water of life He is known.
The air so sweet and clean the breath of life He has been called. A blessing from the father it is a Gift given to us all. When the air can been seen it is unclean and in this state I call it satans breathe, oh so foul and within it only death can be found.
Flower and trees, grass that is so green that there is not any artist in the world that could paint a more beautiful scene. Concrete streets and black top parking lots; progress is what it is called…maybe not. An eyesore, mans’ master piece his legacy, beauty it’s not.
Like a spring rain or after a summer shower; new life does salvation brings. Like the morning dew shining like tiny jewels, in the sunshine they do glow. Flowers blooming and life a renewing, with Jesus this is how salvation goes.
Rain can be seen as the world being baptized and cleansed, purifying it of mankind sins. This is a fresh beginning but it not at its end it only truth starts when you ask Jesus to come in.
After a gentle rain shower our God reminds humanity of His power and His promise: rainbow in the sky a wonderful, magical miracle, truly a delightful sight. His signature written in the sky, proof that He tells no lies; never again with water will He end the world that has bought to Him so much pain. His tears of sadness, never again will the world end with rain.
The evil one try his best with his temptation and his tests to cause us to die and never to rise; humanity he do hate want to take all with him into that fiery lake. These are the tools of his trade war and strife adding in a touch of worldly lust doing his best to kill our trust in the Lord who has given us so much. The spiritual war is what we are in do not fall for satan schemes. Heaven or hell which one will it be? Like the sun gives life to flower, the Son gives life to all who follows. He who is free is free in deed.
Christ the savior God did send, it shows us that satan cannot win. Like a summer day after a spring rain new life will begin. He will pardon us of all our sins but you must ask him to come in His forgiveness know no end. Open your heart and let Him in then and only then can you win. In Him salvation is guarantee and a new life can begin; so you must choose Heaven or hell where will you spend eternity in?
God our Father gave His Son to the world so that we would have a path to the truth a light to shine in the darkest of time. Allow His attributes to shine forth you do not would to lose your soul. Before time ever begin He love us, will you not trust in Him sight unseen, the One who gives all life meaning?
All it takes is faith to bypass that fiery lake, because tomorrow is not promise and another sunshine you may not see. Time is on no one side, so do not go chasing rainbows you cannot fly. Keep what real in your mind the reality is sin must die. God give His Son to pay a price that He did not owe, the cost was high, but gift that is given for those who believe; is to be by His side, salvation is free are you ready to receive?
Summer shower and gentle breeze,
Golden flower and dew drops of leaves.
Soft green grass beneath your feet.
The only thing sweeter is than life is living with Jesus for all eternity.

Difference Methods of Impact

Not everyone is like the rain
Ever-pounding into the concrete with a
Roar sounding through the clouds above
Drenching everything in its path as
A reminder of their abilities

Gracefully gliding down to whatever
Land the wind so desires to clothe
Nearly silent to the world

I'll Follow You

If you cry out my name
I'll come running to your door
I'll be there when the world walks out
When you're broken up inside
I will be by your side
Hold you through the night
Be there when it rains

There will be storms, I promise you
But I swear I will help you get through
Cause it can't rain forever
I'll follow you, whatever you do

My arm around your neck
Your head on my shoulder
Hold you tight
Squeeze back in you the will to carry on
The spark, the fire, the fight

If you cry out my name
I'll come running to your door
There will be storms, I promise you
But I swear I will help you get through
Cause it can't rain forever
I'll follow you, whatever you do

You can never be alone
Cause a part of me is tied to you
Just know that
I'm never alone when I think of you
I'll be there every single second
Every single day
For the rest of my life
You're an amazing person
One of these days, I know
I hope
You will see more in me than the girl who is your friend
Cause I'll be there for you more than any one in the end

Rain

Rain. It truly is a magnificent thing. Let it pour down and fill our hearts, as we watch the lightning strike down to the earth, from the sky. The thunder roars loudly, as the rain turns into a giant puddle on the ground and moistens the sweet, sweet earth. As it falls down from the sky and turns into an even bigger puddle on the ground, it also washes the fruits and vegetables and cleanses our earth. Rain is always cleanses our hearts and souls, as well as the earth. It always washes miracles our way and we soon find good things happening all around. It’s as though the rain cleans a path of harmony everywhere it goes.

Holy Water

The heavens open and shed its tears upon my being
Water so heavy that I have difficulty seeing
Lord, with a heavy heart and eyes shut tightly,
I pray with every ounce of fight within me.
Please forgive me of all of my transgressions
Lord God, please understand my true intentions
I have willingly done wrong but I’m only human.
I give myself to You and I want to be a new woman.
I want to start fresh and completely brand new,
Like petals on a rose kissed by the early morning dew,
Let the rain wash over me and cleanse me of my sins.
I repent of them and want the chance to start over again.
Where the rain starts and the tears end, I’m not quite sure…
Just shower Your love upon me so that my soul will again be pure.

Rains Of Surreal

There were clouds from the sky
To be a little darker then before
Some thoughts in sacrifice to deny
The ever mist in darken haze to recall

And the walked path was an unsheltered one
He who bears the weight of unnoticed vapour
Should be realized to have unflustered thoughts come undone
For he who thinks will thoughts be flooded lesser!

That be pure and impure to see
For a path of evil may well be a course to undertake
To understand the substances of purity
To then walk perhaps the dream-fill path in wake

As the rain becomes heavier in turn
It only meant for the routes be harder to view
To be drench toward a point of no-return
Guess not the unseen road but be sure of surreal!

Mayhaps an after-rain be of rain an after
To share the affair and to embrace as one… the unknown
And to walk is the path already be taken forever
Yet the rain, hasn’t me to recall of those being shown

A kitten named Love

Love:

His gloved fingers loosely grab the tin cup as he sits slumped over.
People pass, barley glancing at the tattered man before them, their faces uncaring.
He has no home, no duplex or even apartment to call his own. Tonight he occupies a large box behind a local pizzeria, which sometimes if he is lucky the employees take pity and hand him a sack of three day old pepperoni.

He rests his head along him arm, closing his wrinkled eyes before the rain comes. It bounces off his cardboard box fiercely and pools around his naked toes. A veteran for his country, he never thought his life legacy would be this, an empty box laying in an ally.

The night drags on with the raging storm, high winds, monstrous bolts of lighting and thunderous booms. Eventually the old man is awaken but not by the pounding rain but a purr. A kitten, merely a few months old has wondered into his lap taking refuge from the storm. Its orange and white fur drips as he shivers, yet his purr echos around the sagging brown walls. He sits upright and cradles the kitten, wondering why it didn’t run. Perhaps like himself the small animal only wants a home.

Its olive shaped eyes fixate on an empty bag of meat, its heart racing rapidly. The kitten is thin, appearing as though it has never ate. The war vet smiles and slides off his coat, he wraps the kitten gently then grabs his tin cup. Eagerly he shakes, panning for nickles and dimes. He washes windows even wipes away the grime. Never has he worked harder for $8.75 but tonight the man and kitten will eat from a bag that reads pedigree and to him that’s just fine. He has made a friend in the most unlikely of places and to him in the most needy of circumstances. Tomorrow the vet will rise and work the cruel streets of New York. He will face ridicule, people glaring in disgust, but he will gladly face it all to provide for his kitten he named Love.

The Rain

I hear the rain falling.
It`s rhythmic lullaby.
Sending me off to sleepy land.
A blessing from the sky.
I smell the clean fresh fragrance in the air.
Rain washing down, everything, everywhere.
It`s starting to rain harder.
Creating it`s own symphony.
It`s so soothing and relaxing, especially for me.
The rains still drizzling.
But the suns coming out.
Which also brings beautiful things in the sky above.
The sun and rain now share the sky.
Which brings the Rainbow and tears to my eye.

A fresh start

A peace seems to grow as I progress through this day
It seems to become part of me infused in what I say
Things I’ve seen many times look brand new today
I find some comfort as I leave the safety of the bay.

Little drops of happiness are falling from the sky
The rain just keeps on falling as the clouds float by
Still, I wonder where I fit and I wonder why
Everything becomes a part of something larger than I.

The rain used to make me sad but something has changed
Not completely different maybe just rearranged
I seem to see beauty in everything I see
I see what is and hope for what may be.

I’m feeling rather happy everything is going my way
The past is slowly fading the demons have gone away
I see this peace growing inside of my heart
From the ashes of the end comes this new fresh start.

Water

I watched the raindrops
one by one they fell
they filled an empty hole
till it became a well

every word of yours is dew
like this rain I seek
the hole here large and empty
for a cistern of waters keep

Within I hold these waters
as a gift for you
the life within a garden
cannot without them do

The moisture collects in clouds and wind
their circuits round the earth each day
their routes can now be firmly mapped
its requirements to life portray

The bounties hidden in a desert
you won't ever see in bloom
until the rain its torrents fall
saturates the seeds entombed

Your words are livings waters
they must fall upon the seed
they cannot germinate or grow
they require this moistures deed

Mankind's become a desert place
where scorpions and snakes do dwell
life here is with the cold blooded
from the rainforest they have fell

Comprehensive examples have been left
in all nature and histories show
a better teacher than science books
if we observe what's here to know

The fabric of all of life
holds me like a wadi tell
like an archeologist
who digs the sands and dell

These nations want gold and silver
but true riches they despise
in the end pursuits of vanity
will damn those who think they're wise

Once again you refreshed my mind
when I thought my well be dry
the waters here clean and clear
not bottled with a lie

Silver spring with vipers

silver spring,
hardens archly on the magnolia dreams,
greedily and ice

sailors
replenish their pompous short epic sorrows,
(scurry in happy life)

tiredly, raining gently...
the hideous frost... pomegranate poses on your lips
kissed by the wind.

 she, viper frightening,
embrace sadly
insipid eager,
the trees with unknowing flowers...

(she wanted destroy my ego,
but she fall in the hell-

raining
boundlessness plunges verses for
melting human pure soul who
screams mad
...at the faintly sun

The rain starts to fall again

Today began much like any other day
Help for above must be on the way
Everything seems to get soaked by the rain
Realizing the sorrow it erases the pain.

Anything can happen I’m living proof
Inside I stay dry sheltered by the roof
No one can hear me, so what good are the words
Sounds so familiar like you’ve heard it before.

Too many emotions seem to get in the way
Against all odds I still arrive at today
Retreating to only gain the ground once again
To you, my love, I shall always send.

Some people come in soaked from the rain
Totally washed out, nothing was gained
Only the rain really knows for sure
Followed by sunshine it feels like a cure.

All of the pieces of the puzzle are in place
Leaving it behind just to join in the race
Losing it all and then starting over again
Answers I don’t know yet remember when.

Ghosts from the past come from out of the fog
Air is quite heavy saturated with smog
Inside the rain can’t get to me
No one shall know what the future may be.

CLOUD

Raindrops fall from the sky as clouds come in.

He waits for the rain to stop, but it keeps going.

No sunshine in sight to dry up the ground.

So he walks in the rain getting soaked by each raindrop.

Then a sudden pain hits his heart trying to break him,

But then he sees a girl ready to help him.

The feeling goes away and a rainbow is visible.

Their is hope now even though it didn't feel like it a while ago.

The Deluge

The Deluge.

finally the deluge

skipping in rhythmic heartbeats
the softly sprinkling rain

hums and lulls and cajoles and comforts
the weary evening

glistening leaves
on beaming trees

blades of grass shimmer
like rough diamonds strewn about

and settling in my heart
is the softly lilting touch
of peace
of truth

of the rain clearing away
the debris of this passing day

Night

night falls
wounded by the days' plight

night consumes
all the hopeful fractured splinters of light

night recedes
into its desolate lair

night extinguishes
the roaring furnace of despair

night hides
from a bubbling desire reaching out to feel

night flees
leaving the jilted to bow down and kneel

night soars
breaking the chains of isolation

night rots
in the cellars of time's vacuum of desolation

night devours
the travails of the day that has past

night mends
the wounds that once were doomed to last

night returns
faithfully as the day must retire

night settles
the doomed voices that mutter and conspire
night consoles
the weary mind and the restless heart so torn
night placates
knowing that night itself is darkest just before a new dawn

so

night freezes
all snapshots of the passing day

as

night embraces
the new while the old simply fades away

Hope

She screams a scream into the rain The sound bounces off the countless raindrops The sound going so fast it becomes color The color of infinity stretching across the sky. She stands there soaked to the bone her clothes sticking to her body like a scared child to a blanket soon her tears mingle with the rain droplets running down her smooth skin She was a walking a bomb about to burst apart. But now her steam had joined the water above She was breathless, her lungs ached Watching the rain dance in the headlights of passing cars, she was hypnotized Her bare feet placed firmly on the gravel and her jeans on the curb She felt every crack rock and pebble that she was on It all seemed so little in the rain For it to be all washed away in the sweeping storms She liked that idea, it made her smile the thought of being clean To be free of your problems To know that you can have hope once more Thats what she found that night in the young spring rain Hope. The hope that you can banish the army of ghosts that follow you in your dreams The hope of lifting the fear of the future to see the beauty of today The hope of being able to live. Live freely and utterly

THE MEANING OF RAIN

As it beat on my window pane
I hear the sound of the autumn rain
It is a indication of my pain
It falls from my sadden eyes
It also falls from the black skies
I hope it will rain tomorrow
It fills my day with an empty sorrow
When you see rain what do you think of
Do you dream your friend or a lost love
Nothing ever feels the same
Especially when you see and hear the rain
Have you noticed rain never quenches thirst
After the rain the sun appears first
When the sun’s rays pierce the sky
Birds in all their glory will fly

"Rain is nature's chicken noddle soup."

The Falling: Part II

Thats all she needs.
She desperatly wants his strong, protective arms to wrap around her and sheild her from this cruel world, this world that has broken her.
She desperatly needs him to whisper to her the words that would set her free.
That everything will be ok, and that he won't ever leave,
Like the many times before, where she would lie in his arms for hours
just listening to him breath in and out. His steady heartbeat playing its beautiful composition in her ear. The most signifigant sound in her world.
She drops to her knees, pulling her drentched hair from its roots,
Screaming at the heavens.
"WHY?!"
The heavens respond with a loud bellow,
shaking the earth beneath her.
She knows the truth.

Yet she refuses to accept it.

The pouring rain continues to fall.
She continues to break.

He does not exist.
Not anymore.
He never did.

She wanted it too much.
She wanted to feel love.
She wanted to feel human.
She wanted to feel the unconditional need to be with another person,
and have that feeling returned with equal amounts of passion.

Was it too much to ask for?
Is it too much to ask for?

She can not move.
The rain starts to freeze mid air,
violently pelting her exposed body, leaving red marks as proof.
She does not care.
She can not feel.

The heavens cry out to her, begging her to get up,
To get help.
She refuses.
All she needs is him.
Who ever He is...
Where ever He is...
She will wait.
Wait for all of eternity if need be.
She will wait for the unconditional love.
For that unruly passion that burns in both of their souls.
She waits for the man who was designed to love her,
to need her the same way she needs him.
Forever.
She waits for the man who cannot live without her warmth,
her touch.

And with that,
She slowly, unwillingly pushes herself off the muddy pavement,
permitting herself one final glance at the angry sky,
catching a glimpse at her diamond among coal
Her only friend in the wake of night.
The moon.
"Save me, my angel...Save me."
she whispers towards the sky, allowing a tiny smile to dance across her pale, desolate face
Before returning back to her throne in her cold, abandon dungon, her in lonly, abandon castle.

Feeling a new emotion she's never felt before.

Hope.

Hope shoots across her sky like a metor.
Shinning so bright, filling her with warmth that blinds her.
The heavens cry out,
Relief.
He will find her one day.
And she will be waiting.

[.Because Falling in love, Is giving someone the power to break you.]

MUSIC TO DANCE TO

The rain falls gently against my skin
Releasing the whispers in each gust of wind
Picks me up than gently puts me down
Playing its music so i may dance around
Sharing its beat with every breath i take in
Changing its direction as i dance and spin
The rain drops now fade away
Through the willow branches the sun shines my way
The winds gusts halt's to a low
Now a slow song is played as i dance to and fro

Soft Rain Drops

Soft raindrops fall like dew drops upon the grass
As I walk wearily down my street with this heavy load alone
No, it’s not a nature walk, but a walk to clear my head
Because he’s not free to take a walk, I walk for him and me
In hope, the rain will wash away the pain for him, I feel
Suffering shared, so easily conveyed, by the tears I shed
But soft rain walks with me out here
And gently kisses my face
Camouflaging my flowing tears

Yet, as I come 'round the bend to my front door,
My leaden spirit slowly rising
I see my rose bush thriving with
Remarkable abundance of buds!
Soft raindrops fall, like dew upon the grass
Gently kissing each bud in view
I smile and I realize that like the beautiful rose
Out of this pain we will grow
For God sends soft raindrops to ease growing pain

The Falling: part I

Noise.

Loud noise.

but it was not just noise, no, not to her.
It was the wild cries from the heavens, calling out to her, reassuring her that everything will be ok, that there is somebody out there who understands, who is just like her.
She emerges from her throne, in her cold, abandon dungon, in her lonly, abandon castle where she is kept prisoner. Kept prisoner from her dreams, her temptations, herself.

Serenity.
Bliss.

The scent stunns her.
Memories from her former life proceed to play like a movie in her memory...
a movie that she can not pause, can not forget.
She stumbles, -afraid to move for the thought that this magical moment may dissapear if she becomes too hasty- to her only escape.
Destroying the barriers that stand in her path.

Ice cold.
Refreshing.
The tiny rain drops fall from the sky,
releasing her temporarily from her own personal hell.
From judgment.
From criticism.
From the abandonment that overpowers her.

Lifting her pale, desolate face to the sky
she lets the rain wash away...
Wash away the hate
Wash away the pain
Wash away the lonliness
Wash away her...in the end.

She cries.
No one would notice, the rain unselfishly disguises her pain so any on lookers would assume that the moisture is just from the malicious storm.
The wind.
So rude, so loud, whips past her.
Attempting to knock the fragile being to the ground.
But she is strong, stronger than she thinks.
She is not phased by it's attempt.
Mother nature is kind.
The heavens cry out again,
begging the young girl to remember, to be happy.
But she cannot.
She can't breath.
She can't think.
Her heart stopped beating a long time ago.
Stopped dead in her lonly, broken chest,
and the heavens cannot understand why

No one can.
But no ones ever tried.
Suddenly, the vicious winds attack her once more,
this time getting a reaction.
A violent tremmor shakes her body
raising goosebumbps on her skin.
She barely notices.
Her imagination runs free,
unleashing all her memories, all her former happiness.
They all consist of Him.....

No One Heard Him Play The Rain

Living in a box down the alley way

Apart from the hustle of the work day

When a rain storm would begin

His face would light up with a grin

For only he could hear the beat

With in the rain fast and neat

Out in the rain he made his band

With his drumsticks in weathered hands

Beating out his own refrain

He turned his talent loose, unchained

Upon the trash bins where he stands

With a collection of metal cans

He’d fill the cans to change the sound

and play in the rain as if spellbound

They watched from windows high right and left

Sealed in their buildings tight and deaf

Their sympathy for the “crazy” man they did feign

No one heard him play the rain

Dream of Reality

Dreaming is like traveling to another world
We dont know where we are going
But we can't wait to get there
It's a place where we can be free
But we can also be a prisoner.

It's a place where we have no fear
But where we find new ones
It's a place where we can slay our dragons
But still come out with burns
It's a place where we see ourselver as we do and dont want to be.

It's a place where the good witch helps us home
But the wicked witch will knock us off the yellow brick road
It's a place full of magic
It's a place where wonders happen
But also where tragedy strikes.

It's a place full of love
But also of hate
It's a place where the sun always shines
And where the rain never stops
Sound familiar?

Our dreams are like reality
There is love and hate
There is good and evil
There is rain and shine
But reality is just part of life.

We can make our reality whatever we want
We can slay our dragons and we may come out with burns
But our good witch will always help us home
Tragedy will happen but wonders will never cease
And we can be whoever we want.

We can make our reality a dream
And we can make our dreams a reality
So open you eyes and dont be afraid to dream
Because if you try hard enough
You can make your life the dream you want it to be.

the questioner

I once was asked a question
that couldn't be answered.
It was a deep question, one with intent and thought.
The questioner thought long and hard
before he came to see me.
Although I had no answer, a reply came from me,
"Let us search out the Answerer of this great questioner.
Maybe he'll find us, but let us search and wander."
On our journey we went,
searching for the answerer, the questioner and me,
passing mountains of old and new.
Making us stronger as each day we grew.
We came to a fork, "Which way should we go?"
So I sat and left it to the questioner.
The questioner said, "I think the answerer is this way."
So up I was to follow the thoughtful questioner,
on the quest for the answerer.
To the Left was a forest
To the Right was a sea.
As we walked we could see rain ahead
the darkness trembled, the trees hid.
Into the forest we went, surrounded by care
we went on for the answerer to answer the question.
The rain brought cold, darkness swelling as the sea,
we huddled together, the questioner and me.
We tried to get some sleep, but none could be made.
At first light on we went, through the forest with great delight.
At the break of the trees a town came to pass
we followed the road, to the main street.
This town had some jazz, it even had class.
Passersby we asked the questioners deep question,
no one knew the answer to, so we told them of our quest
to find the Answerer, they wished us the best.
The mayor of this classy town heard the news
thought he'd look for us, and found us sitting down.
Told us not to look so blue
and asked us what was this heavy question
we then asked him out question, as we looked at our shoes,
then he smiled, and asked us to look him in the eye
and asked us the reason, the reason why,
we would ever ask a question of such great size,
I said "I don't know that's the questioner's job."
The mayor looked into the Questioners eyes
then picked him up, and said,
"Child, I tell you no lies,
your daddy cares for you
and will always dry you eyes."

RAIN FALLING IN OCTOBER

It's so mild in the quite suburbs
with rain falling in October,
and unable to sleep, I face
insomnia for certain;
rain, keep on falling and let me hear
that steady, pelting sound on
the closed windows....a melody for
the saddest song should be written.

I must choose the right mood,
a minor scale to match this melancholy,
and a slow tempo growing into a crescendo,
and I could even throw in a scherzo;
and transport it with a C Major to smooth
some sadness out of the melody,
which tomorrow somebody
will hum, or whistle by learning the easy tune.

Hoping this song will be a hit,
thanks to the falling rain
in October for the sudden inspiration...
when I couldn't think of anything else!
Wishing the rain would stop at six,
so I could see the rising sun across
the eastern sky and listen to the lark
that built his nest under my windowsill.

It's past sunrise, and the shimmering clouds hesitate to leave,
and with nothing to look forward to... I must believe
that the rain falling in October,
can teach me the game of solitaire;
and pinned against my warm pillow,
I don't have anything to share but sorrow!
Flap your wide wings, friendly lark and repeat my song,
note by note; and without a lead sheet, I can't play it for very long...

Another Rain Soaked Letter

Another rain soaked letter
Delivered to the woman in black boots...
The much awaited package.
Eager hands tear the envelope
Parchment is hastily unfolded.
More than a letter
A statement of love meets her eyes.
Ink is soaked by salty tears...
Emotion poured through a pen.
From the text,
She hears his voice.
Through the words,
She feels his breath...
Pressed against her ear,
He is with her again.
She pulls the letter to her chest
Sobbing deep...
Another rain soaked letter
And the distance melts.
Another tear soaked parchment,
And somehow she knows...
Everything is going to be okay....

Resolution-

How far away is nowhere?

Could I get there from here?

Would it take a long time? Or none at all,

for me to get there?

I'd like to go there sometime,

and disappear away.

To have that nothingness envelop me,

and forget about this pain.

This illness overtakes me sometimes

and covers up my life.

Steals my joy and happiness,

robs away my rights.

I have to remind myself daily,

my soul has been set free.

Because my body might have lupus,

but lupus does not have me!

Can't Stand the rain.

Cant stand the rain It feeds the pain of me looking forward to sleeping with out
you once again. O how the pain shine when it rain I thought we were more than
lovers and the best of friends yet I'm alone and crying again. All I want is to
express my hurt and hope that you regret all your double dealing dirt. But every
time I try to forgive I remember your anger and all your ill will.

The miracles of God

When I look up at the sky,

I always think it is a miracle of God,

humans,birds,fish and animals,

all of them is a miracle of God

When rain starts and rain falls,

when clouds gather in the sky,and

when all white snow falls in the valleys

cities and towns...all is a miracle of God

When babies cry and babies laugh,

when war ceases and peace prevails,

it is all wonderful to happen......

because it is a miracle of God.

Even you,standing just across me,

you are a miracle,it is the miracle coming to me

when God sent you,

and this is because we all believe in miracles,

THOSE OF GOD

TEARS OF RAIN

Today I will shed no tears
For tomorrow I do not live in fear
As the clouds get dark and full
The whole sky seems so blank and dull
For at night I cannot sleep
With my heart in despair I weep
I see the world’s problems
I pray to God to solve them
As the rain feels so cold
The problems of suffering and hunger seem to grow old
I try to make a difference and not complain
Because I learn there will always be conflict and pain
I wish tomorrow and today will never be the same
Everyday we should hope for and pray for a change
O blessed Savior, help me rise
And lift my praises to the skies
The tears that rain in my life
I thank you Lord for your sacrifice

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the
former things are passed away.

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by
Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish,
strengthen, settle you

WARM RAIN GUSHES FROM THE BRIGHT SKY

Warm rain gushes from the bright sky,
to free all clouds of their heavy weight
and nourish everything below...
even the dry beak of a sparrow;
we didn't ask for it and yet
it came unexpectadly
to end our physical thirst...
another reminder of mercy!

The thirsty crows invade
the drenched meadows,
once so dried-out and yellowed,
to resemble an arid desert;
water sustains life on this planet...
and allowes the low rivers to overflow
when winter can't bring any snow;
then...is all hope useless?

There'll be lots of beautiful flowers this spring,
even those silent bells will joyfully ring;
a brighter sun will radiate...
illuminating our path until evening:
so much joy in our singing,
a perfect time to meditate!

Warm rain gushes from the bright sky,
surprise sparkles in the unbeliever's eyes;
doubts make us unhappy and weak...
considering the dark side of things!
Vision makes us soar above the awesome stars,
while despair causes our souls to die!

I'll Be On Time

My world is crumbling from the outside in.
My heart's failing I hope it'll soon end.
I look all around and still don't know which
way to go. Somedays I want to just give up
and throw in the towel.I do everything to
try to do things right, but some how I'm
still losing the fight.Bless me Lord for I
need you now more than ever.Let your love
rain down and sheild me from the storm.Oh my
gosh the water's rising past my ears and up
over my nose.I'll hold my breath for as long
as I can.I can't give up,I'll do the best
that I can.I won't lose faith, or let doubt
set in.The lord will save me,he'll insure
that I'll win.The Lord will ensure that I
don't drown in the rain or let my faith go
in vain.I look to the sky as the clouds
began to fade, suddenly the rain stopped, and
the sun began to shine.Suddenly I heard a
voice say "I told you I'd be on time."

I Can't Stop The Rain But I Can Weather It Out

Everyday I always plea for God's grace He helps me thru problems of any kind Because I only rely in His mighty power God helps me through sunshine and rain He helps me thru problems of any kind With him there no really high walls He helps me through sunshine and rain And He brings in my life just fresh air With Him there not really high walls He steps in and stops the ocean's swell And He brings in my life just fresh air And with Him my soul can't turn yellow He steps in and stops the ocean's swell Because I only rely in His Mighty power And with Him my soul can't turn yellow Everyday I always plea for God's grace.

rain

The heavens open
The rain falls
Torrential, cleansing rain

I stand outside arms outstretched
Letting the rain soak me
Drenching, cooling rain

Wash away my sins
Renew my soul
Baptizing, spiritual rain

I ask too much
The rain dissipates and I am the same
Ordinary, common rain

RAINBOW

Rainbow..........
Falling colour so
Deepest violet and blue
Indigo,
to show
Orange and yellow too
Colour bright
The children of the light

Falling rain so
Falling colour so................

rainbow

Golden sun,
falling rain
This magic,
becomes bright
Children of the light,.............
to reveal colour heaven

Red and green arcing too
Circle of seven
Joined to make white
Bright light
Combined through
this colour heaven

Children of the light
Rainbow bright
Colour insight
Circle of seven
Made in heaven

Circle of seven........
To reveal...........
Colour heaven
You cannot conceal
Colour delight
Children of the light

In the Way of the Storm

As the rain descended,
            the floods came, the
Winds blew, and the stream beat vehemently upon a house; but
It fell not. It could not even be
Shaken because it was not founded upon the
Earth, but upon a Rock.
The foundation was laid deep, and the
Man who built the house dwelt safely for considering that the
Assaying would come, he heard and took precaution, and
Nothing of his household was lost.
But there was another man who seemed right in his way,
And the rain descended,
           the wind blew, the
Floods came, and the stream beat vehemently upon his house, and at
Once, it fell: and great was the fall
Of it. It was laid upon the earth, and the
Labor that was labored in it was in vain.
It was built with no foundation ans was easily
Shaken by the violent winds and waters, so the
House, moved by the torrents, collapsed,
and destruction was the end of the
Man who built the house for considering not that the
Assaying would come; he heard and took not precautionm, and
Nothing was left of his household but ruin.

A child of God

A young boy lived in an old orphanage in North Carolina.
He ran away to find something better than a lonely building.
From the tallest hill to the lowest grounds he search and search.
Wondering from place to place he could not find where he belonged.
He tried selling newspaper on the street, shined shoes for a dime.
Preformed country music with he’s old guitar and even joined a circus in town.
Many months have past and still nothing could fill in what was missing.
The young boy was too stubborn to give up; he tried once more at this factory.
After along day of hard work he knew this wasn’t it.
He felt hopeless and defeated by the world.
If only he find something that could make his spirit be full.
Deep down inside his heart cried out to the dark blue sky.
He hands fell to the cold ground and hot tears ran down on his face.
The winds started to grow heavy with rain coming down.
Darkness covered the whole sky like a black sheet.
He struggled to walk through the winding trees.
Everything that had owned was blown away by the firing wind.
Stumbling at every move did not make him stop going.
His legs became bruised by the rigid rocks.
Roaring winds blew at him like giant waves.
A small light from afar was glowing on a hill.
He pushed the thorn branches to make his way through.
Moving closer to the light he fall to the ground and began crawl.
Slowly he got up and was looking at wooden building with painted windows.
He opened the doors and found a burning candle sitting on a table.
Above the table was a cross held up high on the wall.
Walking up with amazement because everything had became quite inside.
Everything had become still and all the rain had stopped.
A loud voice called on him and told him not to be afraid.
The young boy fell to his busied knees with his cut hands on the floor.
He began to cry in pain of his throbbing body.
The voice called on him again and healed the young boy.
In astonishment the young boy looked up at the cross.
He asked the voice who he was, then a bright light came over.
I am God the creator of all things and you are my child.
The young boy smiled with tears in his eyes.
Love filled his heart with joy for this is where he belonged.
A child of God is how he lived for the rest of his life.

HE'S ALWAYS WAITING

Don't you ever think
Why God made nature?
To remind us of Him
So we don't forget Him.

He made the sunset
To make sure it relaxes you
It reminds us that even when the sun goes down
It always comes back.

It also shows you that
Even though you sin
God will always try to get you back
He'll wait for us no matter what.

He tries to make you remember Him
How do you think rain came about
The rain was His tears
Because you're always too busy for Him.

When we have had a very rough day
He knows how that feels
He goes through it every day
For this reason He gave us a breeze.

It was His heavy breathing and sigh
For He wants you to know that---
He's there for you,
And we still don't pay attention to Him .

Sometimes we leave Him
And sometimes we come back
But He's always waiting for you
With His arms open wide.

I'm a poet

I'm a poet, but I just can't write today
please dear God can you give me the words to say
Could you help me Lord,
and bring joy my way

A touch from You is all that I need
To be a blessing is my one and only dream
rain Your love on me today
and make these feelings go away

I'm the poet, but you've been my words all along
you've been the one to plant all these songs
you are the words that I speak
Could you help me Lord, it's joy that I seek

A touch from You is all that I need
So would You help me, and set me free
And rain Your love on me, so I can finally be made clean

So without you I am just a useless vessel for you
But with your help I can do anything that you have me to do

A touch from You is all that I need
To be a blessing is my one and only plea

With a touch from You, I know that I can be made clean
So rain Your love down now, and cleanse this dying soul free

Jesus you are the seed that I need
you are the blessing for me
So would You help this feeble, and weary soul
And rain Your love on me so I can finally be made whole

The Rose

A seed fell out from the tomb
The flowers died, the seed should die too
But rising sun outlasts the night
As raindrops spill, as the seed learns to fight

A playful leaf, silhouette in the sky
The rose now born decides that it likes
But how to reach when trapped in this form?
And now the rose is lost in a storm

The sunlight draws the rose from its bed
The rose just stares, too lost in what’s said
More rain will come, more dark will rise
More light will come, then more rain to despise

Nothing now but whispers and time
The gentle wind, the lonely inside
The rose just waits to feel it belongs
As gentle winds begin with their songs

Complacent air, atonement for us
The rose has grown, the leaves it can touch
Now patient hope has finally come
And past the dead the rose feels the sun

Life's Road

The driving rain pounds fiercely upon the windshield
As my eyes strain to look into the face of tomorrow
Only being able to see what is right in front of me
I push on down this road hoping for a glimmer of light

My tank approaches E as a ray of light breaks through
This road is only in one direction so it’s to there, I go
Hoping to free myself from the rain and get refilled
I come to the destination, where I am then replenished
