Picture Perfect

(Gentle Summer Rain)

Listen to:
light pouring silver gray
enriched thoughts fall from the sky
complete path towards-
Blissful, Delighting Peace
small ceremonial rain dance.
------------

Gentle therapeutic rain
on a warm summer day.
falls of heaven on my skin
lovely healing memory
smiling tears
embracing promise land
means of escaping
utopia in a cloud
Solace-
light mist paints the Earth

"Drizzling summer rays"
Swimming in sunshine, rain.

Silver Strands

Slate gray streets made even darker by cutting raindrops
Umbrellas popping up everywhere, people seeking shelter

But I stayed put, wanting to get drained with the rain,
then I hear this tinkling voice that says, “Don’t you just love it when it rains?!”

I look at her wearily and her eyes actually gleam with laughter
Oh geez, this lady was my total opposite. I was brooding, she was brimming.
I power-up my go away vibes, but she was like a darned magnet…
Was I the ferromagnetic one, or was she?

She gushed on the metaphor of rain in her life, and I didn’t feel like drowning.
Listening to her amidst the onslaught was so refreshing, making me thirstier…

There we were, two drenched souls, sitting on the pavement, chatting up a storm.
Of all her descriptions of rain, one in particular stood out for me…

Pearl drops strung on silver strands …

She said, “Rain for me would be silver strands streaking an otherwise somber sky…
pearl drops strung on silver strands, broken by the heavens to share with us.
See how precious it is?” Then she continued on with the metaphor for pearls…

Her words felt like windshield wipers to me, and I could see clearly now
By then, the rains had softened, and a lone pearl drop landed on her eyelashes
-that made me look closer at her eyes… her beautiful, wise, yet cloudy eyes…

I have never looked at rain the same way since then.

Bring on the Rain

There are places that I've been
that you may never see
As the steady winds are blowing
this storm brews inside of me
But the strong hand that guides me
will surely see me through
As I walk within this darkness
There is nothing left to do

I see the storm clouds gather
as the thunder starts to roll
Lightening flashes all around
as the droplets flood my soul
But when the rain has ended
the sun will shine once more
and I will then be stronger
than I ever was before

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

As everything around me rages
onto my knees I fall
I cry out in desperation
"God help me through it all"
Then this fury deep inside me
slowly starts to drift away
Though a steady rain is falling
I know I'll be okay

So bring on the rain
let me cry these lonely tears
and release the pain
As the lightening strikes
this heart cries out again
I won't give in...
bring on the rain

Yesterday's Rain~

Today I wondered about the rain.... ....I wanted it to rain again The beauty of a chopped up sea Cobalt turquoise harmony Warm winds blow indigo Cirrus Thunder crashes intensely furious Golden skies mixed crimson setting West I admire rain-clouds shedding I miss that smell of rain and sea With loud cracks of lightening~ Gems rolling against the sand Treasures kept ....cupped in a hand Walking along a wondrous fate Losing my spirit ....I learned to hate Focusd on a thought or a specific date I felt sad inside...to have lost my mate Finding myself in a storm cloud made An impermeable will and internal shade I've finally met the marvelous Sea Stepping along the beach with me.... Had I stayed in my own little storm Completely compelled to die or conform I would not have come to realize... yesterdays rain... ...cannot touch today's skies

Smile

Hot
Tears
Stream
Down.
Lava rain on a window pane.

Pain and struggle deteriorate the mind,
clock with out a tick,
Just a waste of time.

The Devil shows in spurts
killing our inner minds,
but God lurks and
In him you will find

Your sanctuary,
little bit of heaven.

May be hidden, like
sherlock you MUST detect it,
find it.

The Holy Trinity.

Protect hearts from
The ideologies of society.
Let your mind be free.
Break titanium chains of obscurity.

Let your eyes be wise,
Visual intellectuals.
Let hearts love freely.

White Doves defying gravity with
Glistening ruby rose petals.

The great ones struggled.
Adversity rampant.
Overcame the strain.
For that,
They are heroic.

Sear ambitions in your mind,
A picture you framed it.
View it everyday
Erase pain you came with.

Angels transformed by the New Testament.

The next day comes,
Birds croon a harmonious song
As they bask in the Sun.

Angels transformed by the new testament.

Our lost ones are adding glow to the Sun.
Through fire rain and
Smoky clouds,

God's Son's rays always shine through.

Let loved ones gain
Immortality through contagious smiles
Reflecting the Light.
As we create
Our own spotlights.

The Rain Effect

The rain outside my door
Its talk, a calming effect
Upon my restless spirit, implores
the need to reflect.

The rain, drenching the moors
Its pounding upon rocky crests
Like the clapping of hands, soars
Upon the senses, dissolving stress.

The rain inviting me outdoors
Its plead to leave the comfort of concepts
Exchanging the warmth of safe indoors
For the dramatic cold of clarity, intercepts.

The rain, cleansing a downpour
Its relentlessness stripping the walls erected
Around the damaged heart, explores
Upon new possibilities, wider directed.

The rain, beckoning a force
Its puddles upon my feet impress
With childlike laughter, a dance extorts
Revving the spirit, the genuine soul expressed.

Have You Ever?

Have you ever smelled the rain as a storm was getting near

then sat and watched as clouds began to appear

Have you ever heard the sounds of Gods thunderous roar

and looked to see his light along the shore

Have you ever listened to the rain when it starts pouring down feeling the flow of it
before it touches ground

Have you ever caught a breeze upon your face and somehow you new it was Our
Father's Embrace

Have you ever seen God's splendor after a storm was done when his heavens
open up and he shows his brilliant sun

Have you ever taken notice as the clouds start to divide and you see the rays of
sunshine peak over the sky

Have you ever seen his colors of grays, gold, purple and pink and wonder to
yourself how excellent God thinks

Have you ever looked at his miraculous sky when it shines so big and bright with
silhouettes of shadows beaming through the light

Have you ever seen a rainbow far above so high it goes from one end to the other
along his great big sky

Have you ever wondered how his sunlight rolls away and how his darkness
appears without dismay

Have you ever seen his display of wonders when you look into the night

and appreciated his stars above along with his moonlight

Have you ever imagined why God gave us these effects

I think it is to remind us that he deserves all respect

I No Longer Fear The Rain

Today if it rains, and the skies get dark,
I will not be disturbed by it.
I no longer fear the rain...
I will grab my favorite sweater and walk in it.
Rejoicing cause no amount of rain could ever again remind me of sorrow.
Instead I will imagine myself being showered by a love like no other man has ever known.
I am grateful for rediscovering love; may it always pour down on me like the rain.
I will embrace it even in darkness because I know it will eventually bring me light; I find traces of it in my beloved eyes.
And when the rain finally ceases to fall; I'll patiently wait for the rainbow to
shine cause the treasure it holds is already mine.
it's just not found in the promises of gold; it's found in the beauty that time eventually unfolds.
More precious than any metal or stone it's the love you've given me a love Ive never known.

Miracles Rain From Heaven

It came into existence from the breath of God
Just look at animals, people, trees, and look at a bird
The blind will begin to see
People in bondage of sin is now free
The famine will be fed with loaves of bread and fish
A hospice child is granted and receives a wish
People with cerebral palsy will walk
A Chinese man with a speech impediment will suddenly talk
A New York fireman is in a burning building walks out untouched
On a movie set a stunt woman does an amazing and impossible stunt
A very racist white man get saved in a all black church
An illiterate and homeless man gets saved and a hour later get hired to work
A man rushed to hospital in trauma flat lines awake and yells for wife
A young mother addicted to drugs become clean and gives Jesus her life
Everyone these people can be a witness and be a disciple
That heaven rains miracles

John 1:16, 17 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after
another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Folk Song of India Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees

A Folk Song of India My Video Song is also on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukRQxnYGQwQ&feature=plcp Background Note: Its a story of a worried Farmer as his fields were dry because of no rains & the season of planting Rice was passing fast. His eyes were full of tears while thinking, what he would eat & earn if he fails to plant the Rice saplings without good Rains in his fields. The song conveys feelings of an Indian farmer, who often face such situations due to lack of rains. Rains felt pity & flooded his fields or his love for Trees & Nature. Folk Song of India- Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How, he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). The clouds keep coming, But fly away and vanish soon, There are hardly few trees in the forest, Who can call and attract the clouds. To tell the clouds, The miseries of the farmer, As, clouds never overlook, The wishes of their beloved trees. But the trees could not convey and tell, The tortures and pains, they have suffered, One by one they have been cut and burned, By none other than their own nursing Man. Because of this only , The clouds often do not come, And run away without showering, When they see such humans. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near his fields, How without rains he would plant, The saplings of Dhaan ( Rice). But that old farmer, Had planted many many trees, Thinking that the clouds, Came down on the ground. The eyes of the old farmer, Were wet and restless, Tears were appearing and were, Coming out, every now and then. The clouds hovering on the fields, Saw tears in his eyes, While wiping his tears, The clouds too began to weep. Then, it began to rain all over, And the fields got flooded soon, The old farmer raised his head, And saw towards the sky. After seeing all around, The fields flooded with water, The farmer with gratitude, Again & again touched the Rain clouds. Tears started flowing from his eyes, With happiness, And the clouds again showered more rains, To wipe the tears from the eyes of the old farmer. Then the time came to plant, The saplings of Dhaan (Rice), Without forests and their darling trees, Clouds hardly showers their love drops. The Farmer was thinking, While sitting near the fields, He would again plant, Many more and more tree this time.
