Cycle

Dearest young leaf,
Why so melancholy?
Thy emerald sheath has not borne Time's folly.

Think not of Autumn's deathly brilliance,
Of colors rich and flaky grounds,
For Thou wilt weep every moment hence,
While Springtime's youth still bounds.

Greet Thy greenness with glee,
For thy root to the Oak remains strong,
Aeolus' fury on Thee has no effect till Summertime gone.

So worry not of what is to come,
Enjoy Thy existence, little one.

Whispers Within

I am the spirit of satin stardust and the antiquities of golden memories alive I call to you from the rising warmth of the sun and greet you in the misty morning light I am the steady and rolling drum beat echoing from the jagged heights above I am the mysterious curves of the raging waters' and the freedom birds of love I rise above the white summer clouds in lilting songs of grace and roam with the western tail-winds to take you home again I am a Spirit of our gracious Lord God Almighty of love hope and faith I have come to tell

Seasons of Life

As spring brings life to all that sleep
Spirit, body and mind renew
Joy reflects in bursts of blossoms
Heralding new birth to God’s creation
As man and nature journey as one
In a dance of celebration
Hope reborn in all that live

As the summer of life screeches by
Visitors invited, welcome to share
Love, laughter, living and dying
Soon comes bittersweet joy of liberation
Knocking, bearing gift of freedom
As mountains rise along the way

As the autumn of life drifts in
The lights of my eyes will grow dim
Yet the hummingbird still sings
Joy of my vision, my rock
Through light of day or darkest night
Like a child I trust, I sleep

As the winter of life arrives
When my tresses turn white as snow
With the sound of my voice just a whisper
Though shallow breath, my prayers ascend
To the joy of my salvation
Just beyond invisible gates
I will in quiet adoration kneel

Untie The Knot This Christmas

Untie the knot this Christmas,
Have a look inside
At the gift you have been given,
It may be to 'cool' to hide!

Undo the layers of wrapping,
Find out what's hidden there.
Be careful how you open it;
It says, "Handle with care."

Unto you this gift is given,
It's stamped 'FROM GOD ABOVE'.
He sends this blessed present,
With unrequisite love.

Understand there is no motive.
This gift is free indeed.
It's given to each person,
Who truly has a need.

Unlock your heart this Christmas,
Let peace and joy flow through.
Then Christmas will be special;
Especially for you!!

Always Believe

Birds singing in the warmth of the sun
Flowers blooming means spring has sprung
Your innocence of the world today
May diminish some, but most will stay
I hope you will always achieve
With warmth in your heart, always believe

Wonderful characters in fairy tales
Uncontrollable joy from puppy dog tails
Capture their enchantment today
Hold on to their hopes in a special way
Sparkles in your eyes show you perceive
Their happiness and dreams, always believe

Fallen leaves rustling in the breeze
Gathering pinecones on your knees
Enjoy nature while you can today
Night is growing colder with shortness of the day
The snowflakes will drift on to your sleeve
With the magic of winter, always believe

With an open heart, may you also receive
Belief in yourself, always believe

Christmyths

If we read the gospel well,
We notice no one rang a bell,
To announce the saviour’d come,
And then when we learn of his mum,
There’s no mention of her donkey ride,
Or of the animals inside,
The stable were the child slept,
It does not tell us if he wept,
And of the weather? Did it snow?
Well we simply do not know,
It rarely snows in the West Bank,
Would be unlikely, to be frank,
And was Jesus born at night?
Did they at least get that part right?
Well it simply does not say,
It mentions not the time of day,
And that’s not all, not by far,
Shepherds saw Angels, Not a star,
It doesn’t say they gave a sheep,
(They were poor and lambs weren’t cheap!)
The Bible tells us many things,
But did not call the wise men Kings,
It doesn’t even call them men,
It only calls them magi then,
It says nowhere they numbered three,
Or if from the Orient they’d be,
It does say that our Lord arrived,
Lived a good life, was crucified,
Just to take away our sin,
So heaven will allow us in,
And this is the truth I will defend,
But just how can a footstep bend?

THIS IS CHISTMAS

There are many holidays,
But only one is Christmas.
There are things that I don't know,
But I am sure of this much:
That Jesus Christ was sent from God,
And we have chosen this date
To observe the Savior's virgin birth--
To sing His praise, and celebrate.

The Winds of the Night

The winds of the night creep in on you and they are up and about.
They surround you in the darkness and shed you into some light.
They are given and they are taken with your most silent thoughts.
They pass through your hidden fears and come from plain sight.
The winds of the night so clever and discreet they really are.
They hold no boundaries to your beginning and nor to your end.
They are warm and they are cold rising above you and reaching up from far.
They are of their own power and hold onto all claims of their own.
The winds of the night come sending a message to the unknown.
The winds of the night are aimless but when directed they drift all together.
They are dangerous when calm at night a sight not even one has really seen.
They are unsettled with no balance yet predictable by where they all concur.
They capture what is felt and heard because they’re accepted as they’re deemed.
The winds of the night come and go for they are on a lifelong mission.
They are silent within your journey for they can not be spoken to or touched.
They exist for your life bringing the world into its final rule on deception.
The winds of the night carry enough strength to lead a massive world into the unjust!

You Don't Have To LIve Like You Did Before

You don’t have to live…
 Like you did before!
I can give you my love…
 And so much more!

You don’t have to keep on
 “bringing up the past…”
I will give you a peace and joy
 that will forever last!”

The chains you once had…
 No longer have to hold you down.
I will pick you up and plant you
 on solid ground!

You don’t have to live the way
 that you once lived…
An abundance of forgiveness and mercy
 is what I freely give!

You no longer have to live a life
 that is filled with fear…
I will always be your best friend.
 I am always here!

You can come to me for a love
that is worth finding…
My promises are forever.
You need no reminding!

You can be a new creation.
 Old things passed away.
I am that I am. And I can change
 your life TODAY!

I am Jesus.  Your provider.
 The all-sufficient one.
My arms are wide open for you…
 Won’t you come???

This Time of Year

The air is fresh, mornings crisp and clear
God I do love this time of year
Vibrant colors abound on the trees
Gracefully falling with the breeze
The workday runs from sun to sun
Until the "Bringing in of the crops" is done
I am a lucky man to live this life
Respect of my community and loving wife
Sometimes in life the land yields plenty
The blessings throughout the day are many
As I watch the sunrise to the east
It gives my soul a spiritual feast
For all my friends everywhere
To my Lord a silent prayer
To the north her majesty appears
For all to see beautiful and clear
Forever snowcapped and standing tall
Lady Shasta watches over all
To the south another blessing to see
The Sutter Buttes clouded in mystery
It was the Lord that gave them their birth
The shortest mountain range on earth
The coastal mountains to the west
Offers the sun a place to rest
Followed shortly for all to see
The "Harvest Moon" clear as can be
Then comes a moment that is hard
As I head my "Cat" off to the yard
My final ride of this year
My face accepts a single tear
My heart becomes full of sorrow
I inject myself with poison tomorrow
Thats the price that a junkie must pay
Years after he has changed his way
The reason is very clear to see
I put myself "At risk" to hepatitis C
I can't stop the fear from flooding in
What will it be like to hold a rig again
Through all the loss and all the gain
I reckon that moment will bring me pain
But through the pain I'm able to see
God has his angels covering me

Denial

Being in denial is like sitting in an empty house,
with a moonlit forest behind it.

Coming out of denial is the new bird,
that comes and stays a while, with that little
empty house, but when winter comes,
he is off on a journey from the heavens above.

Seasons

Seasons come and seasons go.
Life changes for better and sometimes worst.
Strength comes from storms.
The best is appreciated by suffering the worst.
Never change as Seasons do.
Follow your dreams never lose sight of you.
Don't forget who you are.
Don't let life's disappointments leave a scar.
On your emotions and eat away at you.
Until the pain is so strong it overwhelms you.
Don't be blinded by dream realization.
After each storm there is sunshine.
And you can endure good and bad times.
Never let go of your ability to reason.
Perservere learn from all Seasons.

Soul Ties

Soul ties are tight like crazy glue.Who could ever get through?Stuck twisted,and
bonded,can't really hide it.
Soul ties:listening to the continuous lies and the fake alibis underneath that dark
disguise.
Soul ties are so deep that they cause me to creep.Making me feel so cheap
inside where the Holy Ghost can't abide.Because there is so much sin inside of
me,causing my maker to turn away due to the sin I've created that burdens Him
everyday.
Soul ties are like cancer that will cause you not to answer the call of the parakleet.
Come and be restored.Take the mindset to be free and walk into God's liberty.
Soul ties can make or breaker you.A soul tie with our maker is burden-lifter and a
yoke breaker;the finisher of all my fights with much delight.I don't have to fight
anymore.
A soul tie can make or break you .Which one will you choose?Or will you continue
to abuse the soul and unite with savages that cannot make you whole?
Continuing the cycles of twists and turns and down in hell where the(flesh) will
burn.
Soul ties:which tie will you take?Jesus is on His way.Get it right today without
delay.Release the sin today so you can be on your way.
Soul ties:which one will you choose?Today,again, I say Jesus is coming any
day.Choose to connect with Jesus.He'll lead the way.
Soul ties: which one will you choose?With Jesus you can't lose.
Soul tie with Him today!

Did The Lord Build Your House

Did The Lord Build Your House? This house of ours is “plain.” But is still standing. We’re “simple folks...” By many people’s understanding… We may not have much of what is “socially appealing”… But we have love in our hearts. And this is a good feeling! We may not be “wrapped up” in much of this world’s entertainment. But we seek God’s peace and a desire for contentment. We, as a family, have one purpose and “calling” in mind. To seek God’s ways of being merciful and kind… Each day we pray with much thankfulness in our hearts… For this is where happiness and gratitude starts! We’re thankful to the Lord for his unfailing grace… And for keeping us together in this special place… We’re blessed to have a God who is truly worth finding. His word in our lives is precious and worth memorizing! “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it!” God must rule and reign… So his love can completely fill it! This Memorial Day We Salute Our Veterans

We salute every soldier who’s
 served this great nation.
And offer a heart of thanks
 and appreciation!

We salute each member
of our armed forces.
And are thankful for their
 efforts and resources!

We salute the many who
protect our borders too.
We’d be in trouble…
If not for people like YOU!

We salute every son and
daughter lost in a war.
YOU are what serving this
 country is meant for!

We salute the officers who’ve
guided our women and men.
Our prayers are with you!
And our love from within!

We salute our veterans!
Wherever they may be!
Those who served on
 land, air and sea!

Offering prayer to the
 Lord is our belief…
That he will guide our
 Commander-in-Chief!

As we observe
Memorial Day this year…
Let’s offer our soldiers
 love, hope and cheer…

May God bless them in
 all they endeavor
And his peace be with them
 today and forever!!

Tick-Tock

You can’t mimic the resurrection
With your astral projection,
Self-fulfilled satisfaction,
Then, wonder why there’s no reaction.
Pride comes before a fall,
Whether you decide to answer his call.
Clarity can only be found,
When you choose not to be bound.
The clock is ticking and it’s the third day,
It is time to evaluate all of your ways,
Look around and smell the season,
All this chaos has a reason.
Blessed are those who walk the narrow
And don’t surrender to their pharaoh.
Enlightenment only comes from truth
The wise find it in their youth.
Simplicity has become complicated,
The paranormal is overrated.
The answers are all at hand,
Only the humble will understand.

Wildflowers

Standing out in a field alone, a little white flower named Daisy longed for someone to share her world.
One day a blue flower named Bachelor Button entered her world they became friends.
 She knew by his name that he was not the propagating kind, but that didn’t stop their relationship she called him BB short for best bud.
The seasons of Spring & Summer they enjoyed the sun, laughed in the rain and held on fast in the Fall.
Winter came it was long and hard they were both covered in a blanket of snow, not knowing whether they would ever see each other again or even survive .The snow fell then came the ice, this went on for months.

The Sun shone brightly the first day of spring. A few days later warmth of the sun melted the snow, Daisy popped up .
 I’ve been waiting days for you to come out, said BB, they both chanted hooray!
The snow was completely gone in a few days, the birds started building their nests , bugs were crawling around ,butterflies began to visit the two flowers. I wish there were more of us Daisy said, to BB.

They laughed as the sun and wind blew through their leaves. Then it started the sun and rain took turns until one morning the air & field was filled with the smell of flowers.

Daisy and BB looked at each other and asked what kind of flowers are these ? they’re not white like daisies they’re not blue like bachelor buttons. They did not know the birds and bugs carried the seeds from the two of them and the caterpillars buried them under the soil.
The seeds from the new flowers were then carried by the winds many miles away, they landed in fertilized gardens and flourished, although they faced danger everyday.
as they were called WEEDS ..
 The Gardener pulls weeds out of the garden so they don’t choke the flowers, which cost a lot of money and require lots of maintenance.

However there was a Gardener who saw her friends spending hours weeding their garden , that they didn’t have enough time to admire and enjoy the labors of their love
So she set out to give a home to all the weeds ,she provided a place where they could fit in and multiply, they required no maintenance, rain provides their water .

The best part of all is their beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
 Ask my granddaughter-- What are those flowers in the garden ?
  She will answer "WILDFLOWERS " their parents were Daisy and BB

God Has Made Everything Beautiful In His Time

“There is a time for each season…
To everything made…
There is a divine reason.

A time for purpose under
 the heavens above…
A time for meaning from a God of love.

A time to be born. A time to die…
A time to farm the ground
 under the beautiful sky.

A time to kill. A time to heal...
A time to tear down and
 to build up with a passion and zeal

A time for weeping. A time for laughing…
A time to mourn. A time for dancing.

A time to keep...
A time to throw away.
A time to tear. A time to make amends today.

A time to get. A time for losing…
A time to keep. And to give
 away at our choosing.

A time for silence. A time to speak…
A time for each hour
 and day of the week.

A time for love. A time for hate…
A time for war. A time for peace at your gate.

How will you spend the time
 God has given to you?
What is your choice? What will you do???

May this be a time living in
God’s purpose and design.
He created you and made
everything beautiful in his time!

The Day My Uncle Died

The Day My Uncle Died...

I was thinking about the smile on my uncle’s face….
This was a before he would “leave this place."

I'll never forget the words shortly before he died.
The more I thought about it, the more I cried.

He said, "you know Jimmy I wish I got to know you better."
I never received another phone
 call or even a letter.

A few days later he was ready to go to a funeral.
But it was also him who received a burial.

I was shocked and amazed as to what happened.
The events took place. There was no way
 I could "stop them."

Memories I had were from many years ago.
I often think about him. And I do miss him so!

I suppose many don't take the time to realize...
How quickly life passes...
Then someone dies.

Perhaps there's someone in your
 life you can think of…
There's been a situation that you're
embarrassed to "speak of/"

A harsh word said, and angry thought was spoken.
And soon your relationship has been "broken."

This may be a good time with this person to spend.
Irregardless if they're what you'd call a "friend."

Everyone is important to God who reigns above.
We need to be filled with his mercy and love.

The person you haven't seen shall one day disappear...
The days are short... Our journey's end is so near!

May God speak to our heart and help us to see...
Where will you and I be spending our eternity???

MY UNIQUE LINE : JSL -------A Day Of Ones In The Sun---

Inundating radiant sunshine beams down on my face fervently tracing crows feet nearing the frown I can taste obliterating tear streaks transmitting them into the depths of outer space introducing an iridescent spectrum of piercing waves golden ears fear in the race Electromagnetic oscillation inspiring me to rely religiously upon solar energy photosynthesis eradicating unwanted toxins by chasing them vehemently So on this sacred date of "ONE"… negative energy is trumped by the positive tsunami of the sun and as she dares me to stare into her face of grace ninety three million miles away… I sigh as her radiance blasts my face in such a merciful way suddenly my shaking knees give way to an epiphany that this day is laced with sanctity Finally the world's eyes feast upon an auspicious uniformed alignment five ones standing side by side gold adorned a spiritual aspirant making change the world will see... "The Sun's Seven" pronouncing a unified spirituality
* Entrance for P.d.'s "Unique Line" Contest-----This poem's title is unique "A Day of Ones In the Sun" because it describes a very special and unique calendar date 11-1-1. But if you missed it... don't worry or let your eyes get blurry with tears cus' 11-11 's comin' in a hurry to relinquish your fears.....so yes there will be another day of ones on 11-11-1! tho' I can't promise you at the Soup that the 11th will be filled with sun!------I believe my poetry, like many others on this amazing site, has a fresh variety, inspired by life and everything in it! I hope you enjoy my lines like :"the world's eyes feast upon an auspicious uniformed alignment five ones standing side by side gold adorned a spiritual aspirant"

Heaven's Branches

My childhood elm of outgrowth stout
Nourished His formative buds about
While holding me during youthful sprout
Yet far I fell from Him.

For thoughtless Time forgives forgot
He waited for his puerile tot
My seasons passed far from his plot
And further I fell from Him.

Upon my adolescent spark
He let me stab his bleeding bark
With foolish whim, a lover’s mark
Still further I fell from Him.

While seasons passed with nature’s grace
And changed the lines upon my face
He kept my sacred vernal place
Still further I fell from Him.

Soon I was met with fortune’s snide
And chilling winter did preside
His thickened limbs He did provide
Still further I fell from Him.

When life bestowed my last defeat
For years of folly and conceit
My eyes beheld His sad retreat
How far I fell from Him!

That tree that held my girlish jump
And greenery once rich and plump
Was now a sickly blackened stump
How far I fell from Him!

I wept upon His tattered rings
For all the comfort He did bring
Throughout my vain and endless sting
I'd not ascend to Him!

Somehow He felt my tears abreast
And cleansed the faults I had possessed
He offered me His stump for rest
I did ascend to Him.

My hand holds your hand

My hand holds your hand and that`s enough.
In the green`s intervals, the weather is rough;
The blue wind freed its own ghost’s chain
Following the rhythm of the crystalline rain;
With the leaf`s thrill and embrace`s embers
Patient ruby hidden in alabaster chambers,
Far from the desert of mirrors, standing aloof
As vulnerable as the surge`s serenity`s proof;
Simple surmise falling down with the mist,
Suspension bridge above the yellow East;
Looking from the season `s round roof,
Solitude seems hit by a rueful cold hoof.
Like the violet dawns date with the pale moon,
Chapel`s morning joined the emerald afternoon;
Air angels with white wings are our mates;
Trees beg for heaven to let open the gates;
We listen to inner chansons sung by Edith Piaf
My hand holds your hand and that`s enough.

I See Beauty - I Feel Love

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A woodland path in dappled sun
hushed and quiet
so kind and full of promise
she leads me on
through boughs of inspiration
where dancing sunlight
touch delicate my soul
and lofty birds
sing in a private sanctuary
only for me
How grateful I am
for the hand of God
has gently
shown heavenly melody
with each gracious stroke
drifting in waters pure and free
a gift of proverb
bring silent understanding
I breath each moment in
with deep and grateful breath
for in this slight moment of life
completion I have found
Elysium Dream of Love
I close my weary eyes
Holding onto the hope
Of not having to cope
Not a mintue longer
Without you by my side
Not expierencing
The warm look in your eyes
The tingling rush of your finger tips
That would grip my hair tight
To stop you from slipping into the night
Biting  your bottom lip
As a pinch to yourself
To see if it was real
The dream of love we felt
And now that you are gone
I only wish to die
Your image fades from my mind
Sometimes I see it clear,
The sun is skillfully stroking it set in the sky
As my feet float down the road across the tuscan country side
I ever so gently sense the wildy grown wheat
Tickling these troubled lines engraved in the palm of my hand
I playfully pick one out of the land and pluck the grains
I look up and in the distance is where she waits
But there she remains peacefully strolling through the calming field
In a white cotton dress that tails off in the wind and
wearing a small confident smile that makes my yearning heart yield
Whispering in my ear that soon I will make it home
But my Life's journey must continue down this God paved road
I awake with the longing of her, But with so much to do
I need God's strength for one more day to get through
Idyll
I am lost
Basking in radiant eyes
Like the grass grows fonder
Bending to the sun's sultry cries
Undressing summer’s silhouette
Fall's blushing fingertips
Warmed by the naked thought
Of hope's supple lips
I am crushed
By heaven's downy gait
Rain’s rose petal toes
Caressing tantric throes
For my heart is adrift
Imbued by harmonic hues
Nature's idyllic shoes
Twirling her golden hand
I am cured
By laughter's contagious dare
Leering through lipstick hair
Strawberry tines
Tickling my helpless spine
Springtime invading
Passion parading
That which winter cannot bear
I can taste
The fruit of her fertile kiss
The nectar of blooming bliss
Like sweet wine suckled
From Eden’s weeping vine
The scent of a sacred sign
For only love's bounty
May find her
Work
Work.
Toil.
The pain I put in the ground.
For such a precious thing.
Corn.
The family enjoys their meal.
They plant their leftover kernels.
And wait for me to tend to them.
Work.
An endless cycle in which happiness is born.
 This poem is dedicated to those who are suffering from natural disaster
 wrote by Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare
 Almighty - Shower Your Love !!!!!
 Ohh my Almighty, Ohh my Nature..
 Everything was alright, everything was fine..
 But what made you do this????
 That you astringently affected the Life of Divine..
 Why you had lend with with no mercy..
 You showered your gift in terms of cursy..
 Drenching tears of the exciting people..
 Pangs of separation happened between lovely couple..
 How much it is aching to there pity family..
 Everyone got acceleratingly disheartened gradually..
 Just now left with the new dawn and the iota of Hope..
 Hey nature please try to rudenessly cope..
 Mankind struggling for their last breathe..
 Please bless them for our sake under your sheathe..
 Please endow them for their wellbeing and glorious life ahead!!!!
The familiar phrase, The Windy City
I’ve a vast store of mem’ries about Chicago
as I’ve lived there for a couple of years
helping out in the parish of many immigrants,
especially Mexicans and Puerto Ricans.
I’ve made friends and a number of them
still continue to correspond by emails;
it’s like a treasure-trove of relationships -
where friendship makes a big difference.
I still remember when I get invitations
from people of other cultures in their homes;
their different cuisines and customs,
a great experience, a wealth of culture.
Chicago’s known for many attractions,
home of architecture with modern skyscraper
the neo-gothic Tribune Tower in the north
along with white Wrigley building in the city;
rich in architectural history, a sight to behold!
Its classic and modern architecture so far,
complements each other in visible terms,
with innovative ideas and creative designs
a special city with marvelous history.
Daniel Burnham, the famed architect,
designed the Merchandise Mart and others
significant to his life like ‘Paris on the Prairie’,
a tapestry of combined art of old and new.
Renowned architects with their respective styles
such as Frank Lloyd Wright and his prairie designs,
Louis Sullivan and his visible ornate facades
Ludwig Miles van der Rohe for modern styles.
Oh, Chicago, known also as the Windy City
so rich in history and its uniqueness too,
the time when a huge fire razed the city
destroyed lovely buildings in 1871.
Well, with the growing skyscrapers in the city
Chicago Spire, for instance, with its 150 stories
designed by a renowned architect Calatrava,
stands as the tallest building in North America.
With the so-called Trump Tower in its 92 stories
and then, Waterview Tower with its 90 stories,
Sears Tower, the skyscraper with its 110 stories,
that’s the only tallest among buildings in the U.S.
Oh well, this is Chicago in the landscape of beauty,
as a windy city, as well as a gateway to reality;
there’s meaning to trace back in history
there’s continuing progress towards this century.
LET FRIGID WINTER COME
Let frigid winter come,
it feels nice to be lonesome,
seeing myself snuggled up
in a comfort blanket holding a cup
of cocoa by this warm fireplace...
while the wanderer's frozen face
is dotted with the whitest snowflakes
as he rubs his red, freckled nose!
Isn't this an unforgettable moment
to delight me feeling the thrill
of the Season with its distinct chill?
Isn't this the magic of Christmas
when joy is felt in a calm land
by the sound of chiming bells?
Let frigid winter come and cover everything in glistening, deep snow,
and 'though the evening will not have the moon's glow,
brightness can lead my footsteps really far...
shouldn't I play a Christmas song on this guitar?
I will go from house to house and knock on every door...
tingle everyone with great joy by spreading the message of the Savior!
I'm very confident that going back home
stars will gleam and children will roam:
singing, shouting, swirling and throwing heavy  snowballs;
happy angels will be heard on gelid gulls,
but who minds waiting in the bitter cold...
when a Divine Child comes down to redeem the sinful world?
Oh! Humanity,
Oh! Humanity,
How you’ve completely lost your sanity.
Did you forget how to grow?
Every one of you was planted row by row.
Did your heavenly Father not nurture you with love?
Did He not make the rains fall from up above?
Oh where is your heart?
Who gave you your first start?
Oh! Humanity,
What vanity!
Oh! Humanity,
What profanity!
Daylight hours just wash ashore,
With simple lives from once before!
Have you forgotten your heavenly Mother?
And what about your heavenly Brother?
Where is your Godforsaken mind?
What happened to being loving and kind?
Oh! Humanity,
How you’ve provoked such a calamity!
Words of SILENCE On the Beach
A footstep so smooth;
A word so candid, yet strong:
A mind, so full of empathy,
came straight up to my heart:
Knock, knock, knock, are we there?
Or, are we still strangers?
The long pile of stories of life,
Unfolded, into your lap, with tears —
Some horrid, some slimy, but all true.
Solutions and steps were put forth:
Knock, knock, knock, are we there?
Or, are we still strangers?
Moments of silence, in tears,
Emotions riding high,
Darkness so deep, fathomless;
Keyboard, whispers, brought hope.
Life sprouts, naturally,
With light, and manure — right,
Springing from words of wisdom:
Knock, knock, knock, are we there?
Or, are we still strangers?
A ray of light sprouted, as did life,
From within me; and my words
Grew wings of fire, and sprung
Right onto paper, as poems and news.
Alas, the thrill lasted not long —
Black venom of the fire of Satan
Swirled around me, eating me up:
Knock, knock, knock, are we there?
Or, are we still strangers?
The silence, construed as disregard,
The lag and the arguments;
Words of war, and then — SILENCE.
Search, search, search…
Life went off action;
No sound, no light, no life.
SILENCE, SILENCE, SILENCE.
Knock, knock, knock, are we there?
Or, are we — after all — strangers?
Create In Me A CLEAN Heart
Create In Me A Clean Heart... Create in me a clean heart, Oh God, and renew a right spirit within me. May my flesh be crucified... so that YOU... others may see! Please don't remove from me your presence, or Holy Spirit. May I meditate upon your word... and daily live it! Restore unto me the joy of your salvation... As I serve you with a deep love and appreciation! I will teach sinners, of your wondrous ways. So that they my serve you all of their days! I will shout aloud of your righteousness and proclaim That you have delivered me from all guilt and shame. As my lips are open... I will sing glory & praise to YOU! May you be exalted in all that I say and do. My sacrifice to you are a spirit and heart that's broken. God will not reject me... this he has spoken! May I bring sacrifice and obedience as I come to your altar. You are my solid rock... like the "Rock of Gibraltar!" Thank you for cleansing and making me whole. You brought healing... and restored my soul! By Jim Pemberton Read Psalms 51:10-17
God's Heavenly Mountain
Skeptal I still followed others up the mountain
Voices said do not fret for God speaks from this mountain
Valley and creeks and eagles that soar
Suitable for a me to continue climbing this God forsaken mountain
Time can be at nil for there my destiny awaits
Tranquility bliss and solace of it's mountain
Relish with me if you will if you must if you can
Shout from the highest peaks of this skeptal mountain
There is a new day a new beginning and a new you
Only if you take this journey beyond God's Heavenly mountain
two
water melon in my garden
like the sun and moon
just two…
”...launcher ready…”
steady my hand
tending the weeds
near a row of beans
a far away land
”...it’s not a good time…”
so I wondered
and thought of when
wars are just plays
staged in the hands
of writers like me…
I’d arm the nations
with radish leaves
squash for bullets
that unload seeds
Peanuts money
on my jelly spread
I’d share the health
giving lettuce, head…
”... is it a good time now?...”
who wants a cow
chickens grown
in crowded pens
suffering blows
in.human.e hands
glitters the water
between the corn
I’d sale on ships
into rosebud shores
and i’d grow my fish
in between the stores
”...I’m god in my garden…”
and I divide the rows
soing what suits me
in tomato groves
and near my basil
I’ll build a school
teaching the mint
just how to be cool
and over hear
the potatoes anchor
on stalks of beer
”...wellcome…”
to chi…
banana central
read booms of cheer
...but they say I’m mental.
lentils
are sooo good in soup!
my capitals
I declare are true!
I only cook
When I brew my stew…
and no one regrets
in the garden of Sue.
”...yes piglet…”
I was Just
Making sure of you.
Close your eyes and dream with me
Close your eyes and dream with me
the way things are suppose to be
the Love inside will set us free.
Close your eyes and dream with me
the way things are suppose to be
the burdens we carry lets share today
Lets do things in our Lords way.
Close your eyes and dream with me
lets walk in the way He made us to be.
Close your eyes and hear His voice
things are crazy in this world of pain
close your eyes and let Him lead
also help me see His truth in me.
My life bounces back and forth
close your eyes and dream with me
on how things are suppose to be.
Help us Lord to live free
in your way,please reveal
Your heart to me.
Close your eyes and dream with me
Take my hand and walk with me
to the ends of the earth
show our true worth
His love in us,
this is the way its suppose to be.
Close your eyes and dream with me.
ANOTHER SEASONS PAST
Autumn's past horizon's
whose clouds coast above the trees
woodland paths are dusted
with the falls of the turning leaves
Four corners of the Winds
in summer exhales release their breath
another season's gone
and lay's to the past it's death
Often my mind has danced
in the corridor's of the earth
where winter's snow has melted
hastening the springs new birth
I've rambled down many roads
and I've sang a many song
been scratched by weeds and brambles
and waded in the worlds wrong
Bridges on the road I've crossed
upon the many paths    that man has trekked
but only one road can lead you
upon a course which is circumspect
It was always for you
every path I ever sought
every step I ever made
the ones my heart was taught
I desire not gold or silver
but the nectar of your lips
a wine so intoxicating
the truth like honey drips
Like the passing of the seasons
and the lives you so enrich
truth and beauty enhances life
there's no question of choosing which
Seasons
I've had so many seasons, and seeds I've had to sow,
winter seasons of dryness, where nothing seems to grow,
rainy seasons of sadness, where tears just flow and flow,
sunny seasons of joy, where love begins to show.
Throughout the seasons of my life, Jesus held my hand,
and brought me through each one of them, and taught me how to stand.
What is Christmas Really About
Quickly is coming Christmas day,
Perhaps you ponder with dismay
Amidst the shopping and the shouts,
What is Christmas really about?
Is it about reindeer and elves,
The gifts we wish for ourselves?
Is it about wrapping paper and bows,
Stockings stuffed with goodies clear to the toes?
Is it about family, friends, and feast,
The smell of bread baking rising with yeast?
About trees, lights, and cute decorations,
Parties, eggnog, and celebrations?
These commodities make the holiday bright,
But something else is required to make it right;
For Christmas is not about programs and costumes worn,
But about a miraculous baby that was born.
About Mary and Joseph, man and wife,
Who came to Bethlehem pregnant with life.
No room was left for them in the inn,
Shelter was found in a cattle pen.
The time of her delivery would not waiver,
In that stable she experienced labor.
Born into a place smelling of manure,
Christ arrived our salvation to assure.
Nearby shepherds tending flocks by night
Were startled by a glorious light.
Angels while seeking to calm their fear
Came proclaiming this event of cheer.
Told of a birth of a baby boy,
A king, a savior, who would bring joy.
His mission was one of peace,
From our sins to bring release.
Then with haste they went with glee,
Marveled at what they did see;
Found him in a manger yet filled with glory
Then left with excitement to tell his story.
So as we gather this December
May this jingle help us remember,
Christmas is not about dear old Santa Claus
But about the Christ who saves us from our flaws.
Stuck
I'm like a lion
Tryin to be  trained
to behave in a cage, but
I wasnt born to be tame
Full of stress and rage
 Im compressed and chained
Infected with depression
beCause I cant catch a break
Lifes taste is so tart
In pain from my scars
Stained by lame luck
Stuck behind apace car
I strive to write
But all I can type is the space bar
I'm Pervaded with doubt
About to freakout
Quick Someone bail me out
I would sniff my way out
but I got this cyst on my snout
From 6 years of this drought
Im sittin with this could of pout
Stickin to me like jam from a can
like melted candy in your hand
I'M a pantree full of Spam
 A Letter without the stamp
A debtor without a plan
Like chicken on a pan without any Pam,
Damn I'm starting to get pissed
 I got to devise a plan, before I break my fist,
Punching this brick wall, I got the spit but no ball
got the wits with no squall, like a toliet with no stall
 Slippin in a pit fall, Shiz just snow balls
I want to brawl, missed last call
My Stick shift just stalled,
This lawl has no intention at stopin at all
And I'm kicking myself in the balls
like old men walking up and down the halls
so i flop, just like a dust mop
Now i got knots in my food box
The size of king kongs rocks and
Every door has been locked
I try to soar but its all for not
THE WISHING WELL OF A SUN-RISE,
It is...within the tiny things of early morning, that moment breaths alive, it is within the tiny whisperings, that a melodye plays...like the very dear and the antelope, play home on the range.
so goes the melodye of heart beat, that plays quietly the songs of soul,
here a rhyme is born of day-light coming so soon, through the early morning eyes of the moon-light, and the starry dreams of twilight's transitioning...
into the light of a love letter written to dawn.
soul to soul conversing, as in this love letter, the letters just join hands with the words and just march across the sky...and at the end of the rainbow, there be plenty of golden time,
way down deep on the inside,
...as the inspired choir, of a bumble bee, or a butterfly, starts to sing, like tiny things that live,
flower to flower,
blossom to bloom,
watered and deeply cared for...
O' Eden.
I say, deep beneath the surface of a wishing well...where the pennies lay,
I wish a sun-rise.
Perseverance
                     Perseverance: a poem
Long ago or should I say sometime in the past?
I had dreams and now at the age of 31 I have realized most of them.
It’s funny how good luck; joy, pain, rejection, effort and ‘Perseverance’ with a capitol ‘P’ have played a part in my life and sealed my Fate.
I now choose to think more positive thoughts even though this is still hard for me when I hear a negative voice in my head or when I hear people say negative things about me.
Those things hurt me and stay with me until I let it go.
I am self-motivated and I was a star pupil in my memories of my childhood.
My main goal is to be able to take care of myself, be responsible for myself and for the choices I make in life.
I am finishing school next January ’14 with my Bachelor’s degree and I want to find a good Internship.
Then after that I want to have a part-time job working 20 to 25 hours per week and continue doing volunteer work.
Oh and poems, I will keep writing my poems and reading other people’s poetry.  Right now I am reading LIT a memoir by Mary Karr. I also want to write children’s books.
Death, Hell and the Grave Defeated
Death, Hell and the Grave Defeated "I will ransom them from the power of the grave ; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?" Hos 13:14 NIV Death, hell and the grave Were defeated at the cross, Although Christ's life appeared a failure; No possible gain just loss. This is where death lost its victory; Resurrection made possible. Just as Christ was resurrected; Called forth by God’s heavenly angel. Christ raised not a hand to resist The evil powers at his side. Without His total surrender, Death’s grave would forever reside. The cross was perceived as failure, But it was victory instead. For that was the world's perception Of our Savior’s bloodshed. Death, hell and the grave Have been defeated for some time. Although death persists, The righteous find their Spring time. Christ will soon come To call them from their graves; Take them home to heaven; Where sin no more enslaves. Sunday's Gift Out On The Porch
Nip in the air speaks loudly
Seek a warmer place in the sun
Sun slowly speaks with a southern drawl
Her lavender dress creeping behind
Trailing a beautiful skirt on morn's horizon
Max, Maximilian Sunflower almost outsparkles the early sun
The sun that slowly glows orange through the Leland Cyrpress and woodsy trees
Whitey waits huddled against the corner post cold needing Sun to hurry along so she can
climb onto the roof enjoying the radiant heat
Nip wants to send me away so that warmth will penetrate aching bones
Desiring to visit with the weak crowing rooster's song for just a moment longer
Those moments that are swiftly passing now as the sun's radiant golden light comes higher
with sun loosing her gown of lavender
Becoming naked before the earth for their joining of spirits to reciprocate love for each other
Thanks to God for the day and for the life and beauty to enjoy once more!
Hope
Today I saw a tree trunk,
Growing through a fence.
Metal bars pierced, as it grew,
It almost didn’t make sense.
Sap oozed out its flesh,
Where the spike had bored.
Victim of its own success,
As if it had fell upon its sword.
I wondered if the tree was wise,
That growing meant having to agonize.
The tree didn’t seem to mind though,
As it stretched toward the rainbow..
"The Ataratic Tempest"
The passion that comes
When greeted by a storm
Is nothing I can explain
The rain, wind, thunder, and lightning
Sends a frenzy of shivers through my body
Making my every nerve numb
As the light flickers
And the thunder claps
I can feel my heart beat faster
The rain on the roof
Like a drum
Sends my body in a rhythmic dance
The wind is my partner
As I float around
Above the ground
Leaving my worries behind
Rhythm Of Life
Joanna Davis
The' jingle, jangle', of life’s bustling pace
is filled with concords of the human race.
Towards and ending that’s yet to unfold,
for the next generation our story is old
The tour we embark on, each step we take,
is forever deciding the choices we make
The limbo, two-step, waltz or the jive
Will all play a part in how well we survive.
If you listen carefully to every sound,
you’ll flow with the music, not stumble around
When in tune with beat, each step you take,
Becomes part of life’s rhythm, make no mistake
Wisdom Paints Life
My God above whose wisdom surely shows
When Mother Nature paints her glory grand.
While gilding grass beside the river grows,
The autumn trees with golden leaves, as planned,
Reflect their beauty, clinging reds and yellows.
Rainwater streams her life upon the land.
Beneath the mountain cattle comes to graze.
And thus, without the help of man, life stays.
I'M FACE WITH A TRAIL THAT
HAS PARALYZED THE EMOTIONS. MY
FAITH IS ON THE JUDGEMENT SEAT THERE'S
SO MUCH COMMOTION INSIDE MENTALLY. CASTING
DOWN THOSE IMGINATIONS THAT TRY TO INTIMIDATE.
THE WORD OF GOD COMFORTS MY SOUL. REMINDING GOD OF
HIS PROMISES. KNOWING THAT HE CAN NOT LIE. I REGAIN MY
STRENGTH AND DRY MY WATERY EYES.............................
I'M THE STRONGEST IN MY WEAKEST.
I REFUSE TO GO TO THE PLACE OF LODOBAR.
I AM A CONQUEROR INSPITE OF CIRCUMSTANCES. I'M
LIKE CREAM IN COFFEE I WILL RISE TO THE TOP.MY FAITH
WAS ON THE JUDGEMENT SEAT.THROWN IN AN INTENSE FIRE,ONLY
PURIFIED THE RELATIONSHIP.........................................
PEOPLE OF AUTUMN
Tumbling, tumbling, maple’s chameleon leaves
swathe blonding grass that is longing to sleep,
A Mennonite farmer hand-bundles wheat sheaves,
Harvest won’t wait and his field will not keep.
Fumbling, fumbling with sodden dresses
clean from a washing on this windy day,
A Mennonite wife hangs laundry, blessing
God’s bounty, His gifts on lovely display.
Crumbling, crumbling, pieces of pumpkin pie
warm from the oven and perfectly spiced,
Mennonite tots lick forks and watch geese fly,
Later they share wood toys, just a few suffice.
Humbling, humbling, these people of autumn
who toil endlessly, then Christmas welcome.
This Island Home
On storm-ripped nights when seaboards crack
And wings of angels rendered black
Are clouds that seethe and boil on high,
The canvas of some desolate sky.
On empty days like shredded rags
Trailed down from mountain peaks and crags
To flap across the barren floors
Uneven plains and lakeland shores.
On trails of tears to God knows where,
When weary eyes flood with despair,
The turgid creep of asphalt stress,
Grey flannels tied to emptiness.
In this vast cathedral sanctuary,
With faith and love, democracy,
Within, without, beloved view,
This island home stands firm and true.
The Hourglass of Life
A new season begun, a new life, a new birth,
engraving our story here upon earth.
The pages turn slowly.
Each day will pass.
Life is measured by the hourglass.
The sands of time pass graciously.
The book is written of mystery.
Echoes of silence, the pages are blank.
For the hourglass of life holds no rank.
Let today be today.
Look not to tomorrow.
For life will fade on the pages of sorrow.
Read the story,
you must go on.
Turn the pages of a new dawn.
To every beginning there is an end.
Your spirit will soar high in the wind.
Hurry before time runs out.
For life surely fades without a doubt.
The clock counts down each grain of sand.
Turn the page and understand.
Reflections of love and holding hands.
This page though so innocent,
a beautiful child of heaven scent,
happiness in a life well spent.
Turn the page again once more,
to find the key to all closed doors.
This page tells of mom and me,
the many cherished memories,
undying love for family.
Turn the page, see all my friends,
from around the world and all nations.
This page tells of sacred marriage,
to have, to hold, and also cherish.
This page tells of many great storms,
the sea of tears, and the thunder roars.
This page holds the photographs,
of many dreams that once was had.
Though some memories of life you can't recall.
The book of seasons, winter, spring, summer, and fall.
The last page to turn, so there's a stall.
The last grain of sand that slowly falls.
Now for a moment don't you cry,
the hourglass of life told us no lie.
For all is born and then must die.
God grant me the time to say goodbye.
Why Is Christ Taken Out Of Christmas
Christmas is the only holiday we often don’t call by name. We often forget about the true reason that Christ came. It’s the only holiday that we often call “a holiday.” It’s true meaning, is often, taken away! It’s more than the tree and all of the glittering lights… It’s time to think about the Bethlehem star so bright! It’s more than going shopping at the malls… More than, “Jingle Bells,” or “Deck the Halls!” It’s more than seeing how many people we can buy for. Or that clearance sale, you’re willing “to die for!” It’s more than buying the “newest in entertainment.” Or receiving a gift that may “cause an embarrassment.” Beyond all of the presents and all we truly believe in. Let’s all come to Christ Jesus and receive him! Let’s think about his birth, and his death on the cross! Without HIM… The true meaning of Christmas is lost! He brings the hope, joy and cheer that’s needed! Won’t you listen to his voice? That often goes unheeded? Christ is what’s important! And shouldn’t be left out! He’s what matters! And is what Christmas is all about! Let’s be joyful! It was for all of us that he came! And take this time to bring honor and glory to his name! By Jim Pemberton
Summer at last
My heart with joy is singing
No more pain no more crying
Summer’s sun is shining bright
In my world all seems right
God is incredible good to me
He heard my cry and set me free
He gives us no more than we can bear
I have a savior in Jesus I will not fear
Though I walk through the Valley of death
He sustains me He supplies each breath
The Sun came out and melted the frost
Thank God it is Summer my heart is warm at last
Glow
Stars shine brightly above me as I look up at the glowing full moon.
A cool breeze is blowing and
A soft music seems to play in the air around me as
I think of what life has given me.
This gift is more than I could have brought myself to ask for.
For the longest time I've been content to be there for others
Ignoring the fact that as I helped my friends find happiness, I have been alone.
Now I find that Life has given me a gift. A thing so precious that never again could I go
through life without it.
Life has given me you.
You, Suki, have become my life force. The very thing that keeps me going.
I love you with everything I have. Granted, it isn't much, but I promise you that it wont
be missed. I'll love you enough to make up for the materialistic things that I don't have.
The moon blurs as tears fill my eyes and I start glowing as bright as the shining full
moon above me and
I find that the music I hear around me that is so heartbreaking-ly beautiful isn't in the air.
It's inside me.
I never have to be alone again.
Never do I have to bottle things up for the sake of other people because I know I have
someone who wants nothing more than to have me cry on his shoulder.
I love him
And to the very core of my being I know he loves me.
Life has given me something I never dared to let myself dream of having.
Life has given me Suki.
A New Romance
A tune of sorrow played on fiddle strings,
Unanswered questions haunting midnight’s hour,
The voice of melancholy softly sings,
Beneath the stars that light the lunar bow’r,
All waiting here for warmth that sunrise brings.
With dawn, the fluffy clouds begin their dance,
While chasing rainbows across the blue sky,
The breeze of early spring now takes its chance,
Just flirting with the budding twigs on high,
The coming of life that sings a new romance.
The End Of Days
People are starting to add up the facts and most don’t like what they see,
The world is rapidly deteriorating at an accelerated rate, call it prophecy!
And if these are the last days how many of us are truly ready?
We are living in an explosive society full of maniacs who’s minds are not quite steady.
Terrorists have made their way onto our shores and struck an awesome blow,
But I feel that was just a testing of the waters you know!
Their weapons are becoming more high tech and more lethal with each new day,
They are trained for suicide missions and to them death is okay.
The Bible says that before the last days the earth will experience birthing pains,
The way I understand it, it is talking about more frequent natural disasters, tsunamis,
more intense earthquakes, killer hurricanes.
Check the records, watch the news all these things are happening right now,
But people won’t listen when you tell them this is prophecy, they say it’s just life and
it’s going to happen anyhow.
The technology we have at our disposal wasn’t even thought of fifty to a hundred years ago,
And instead of using the technology to better mankind we are using it to destroy ourselves
this I know.
The will of God doesn’t seem to have a place in our society anymore,
Wrong this is not our society it all belongs to Him, every grain of sand from shore to
shining shore.
I know I’m not perfect no where near it, but I do believe in God and the Bible and what I
read,
It’s a blueprint for life which we all should obey, follow, and heed.
If I Could Talk To God Today
If I could talk to God today
Humble praise and thanks I would give
For all the blessings I have received
None of which do I deserve
For any good I may have done
Was by grace through His son
If I could talk to God today, I would ask
Lord, when I was a little child
Why was I so painfully shy?
Whenever strangers were around
I would always run and hide
Reading and daydreaming all the while
If I could talk to God today, I would ask
Lord why does evil continue to exist?
I was only seven, abused and blindly robbed
I was lucky, my life not brutally snuffed!
To perverts this is just a game
So many die while others bear lingering shame
If I could talk to God today, I would ask
Forgiveness for the foolish years
Opportunities missed to do some good
For the many times I put Him last
For unnecessary fears and wasted tears
The empty years spent ‘living it up’
If I could talk to God today, I would ask
For mercy not just for me
For children like me whose trust betrayed
For all of us who have lost the way
Some day I know there will be peace on earth
When you come to live in hearts and homes
WHEN NATURE FINALLY AWAKENS
When Nature finally awakens,
one needs to stop as the perplexed ravens,
and watch fragile butterflies dance...
celebrating the beauty of the radiant Heavens.
The flowers that we touched in recent dreams,
are awaiting for rain as they sway in fields of gold,
dreaming of nighttime glimmering with moonbeams...
will the moon's breath keep them as warm as yellow marigold?
When Nature finally awakens,
and snow melts turning into rivers,
follow them and discover new amazing things...
from blooming hills to harmonious plains.
Stare at the star-lit sky and ponder over this mystery:
since creation nothing has ever changed...
we see it as others have and be part of that reality:
feeling its profundity and be persuaded.
When Nature finally awakens,
our low spirits become sprightly and new;
it's rebirth can induce more thrills...
why not be adventurous and sparkle as dew?
The Master's Voice
The Master's Voice. During our life... We have many choices. We see a lot of faces and hear many voices. There is a voice... Like no other. The words are "sweeter than butter." It's the same voice that calmed the storm in Galilee. It's the voice that offers life abundantly. Please listen to the voice of your savior today... And really listen to the words he has to say... "Come.follow me!" "And be born again!" "I'll wash you clean... And take away your sin!" His voice speaks peace to the troubled soul. And speaks joy and love to make you whole. Christ can do it with his blood-cleansing power. He can do it... This very hour! His voice beckons a never ending call. Come to him now... He's worth it all!
A Warm Blanket of Snow
A bright and beautiful blanket of snow
Silently hushes earth below spring shows
White heavenly glory this covering brings
You’ll see its splendor uncovered in spring
Earths radiant colors will then unveil
New life within this warmth revealed
The blanket lifted will then expose
The warmth and love that God enclosed
Easter
Easter Easter is ever so beautiful. It was meant to be just so. For as our Lord Jesus rose to glory… The plants do follow in his fold. Springs beauty is likened to heaven… As it was promised in stories of old. And all the tender plants … Show our souls how to unfold. Growing toward the light, an ever present goal… Reminds us in life, what we should be searching for. Spring is like heaven brought down upon this earth To remind us of God’s promise in Jesus… Waiting in our hearts and souls For the Son's light and warmth to bring it forth.
A DRINK IN THE MORNING
Coffee in a cup, makes a cup of coffee;
just as an aroma from within, makes the air,
smell of flowers in the spring
...blossoms,
blooms,
time,
...a sweet thing, like sugar cane is to the tasting,
and the tasting is to stirring the dream,
flavor,
making flavored coffee
soul,
a drink in the morning.
Matted Layers
I came from behind and my God at what I saw.
I was astonished and in disbelief seen by you.
I counted exact minutes with the seconds too.
But I stood there intact with no lines to draw.
There are many versions of Grace Verse’s law.
So I read through them one by one until blue.
So I picked up the torch it was all I could do.
I was a flame burning stoked in complete awe.
I gave glory to the Sun and Moon,
I exalted a few Stars along my way.
I even rode in on a cloud at noon,
It was a bright beautiful blessed day.
But there were matted layers of deception,
I guess you can only imagine my reception.
Gods Beauty
I thank your dearly god for all the days
 You've shown us beauty in so many ways
 The crimson sun against the smoky sky
 The speckles of villages from mountains high
 When everything is covered with a film of dust
 Painting your trees 'n shrubs with a film of rust
 September's trees in warm attire all flush
 As they cover their bareness in quite a rush
 The fires that creep over the hills at night
 A pretty red rope is all that's in sight
 So much awe in the wake of destruction
 As all your creatures struggle to function
 Under October's sun bearing down
 Upon the ground completely brown
 The rivers trickle to an absolute nil
 As all the land becomes deathly still
 Upon the flats as the heat's haze lingers there
 Survival a must we can hardly bear
 But the trees remind us it again soon will rain
 As in faith their green leaves refutably remain
 As the darkened clouds upon the horizon meet
 The hope in the air drifting past is sickly sweet
 The parched earth eagerly waits to greet
 The large drops of manna falling at its feet
 And we all breath a large sigh of relief
 As with the waters gift, gone is the grief
 Thank you god for all we go through
 When we can't really see what's true
 Time in its circle such a complex thing
 We know healing u always will bring
 So much beauty does abound
 That faith can always be found.
Our God Reigns
Our God Reigns…
Our God reigns in the heaven’s above!
Behold the mighty works of his power and love!
Our God reigns in the mountains on high!
His power reaches down to the deserts so dry!
Our God reigns on his heavenly throne!
He wants to be the Lord of our hearts and homes!
Our God reigns over the majestic seas!
His creation is magnificent!  This you can see!
Our God reigns over governments here on earth.
He gave his son, so we can have a “new birth.”
Our God is mighty!  Everyone shall kneel before him!
He longs for us to worship and adore him!
Our God has made a mansion for you in heaven.
He wants to be your God!  Won’t you let him?
Our God stands knocking at your heart’s door.
Won’t you let him in?  What are you waiting for?
Brighid's Envoi
O sweet white bloom blushing through snow,
You gently kiss the north winds as they pass,
Whispering to winter ‘it’s time to go’,
From your bluey-green leaves like blades of grass,
Sweet drooping bells that mark the seasons flow.
A tiny flower sets the world alight,
And fills a wintered heart with deepest joy,
New life from bleakest days and long icy nights,
Through woods and fields, her bloom Brigid’s envoi,
As spring returns into our mortal sight.
HE Will Lead Me:
He Will Lead Me… Jesus is with me every step that is taken, With HIM in my life—I am never forsaken! A straight and narrow path is what he will make, He’s there to lead and guide me every step that I take. Every choice I have, every step that is made, The price for my life—on Calvary— has been PAID. His word shall direct me which way I should go, It shall be a lamp unto my feet down here below. His Holy Spirit will gently give me Godly correction And shall always lead me into the right direction… By Jim Pemberton
The storm is come
Red leaves fleeing trouble before the gust:
like children playing tag.
Tumbling to shelter under,
or it is to the brick wall.
Tears from heaven
hit cheeks from the side,
and lash down to toe:
and the whole becomes a sea.
I am swept away in it's fury:
each wave crest seeks shores,
and pours itself away; to abandon.
Cherishing that kiss with earth.
Fury must find it's rock;
be diminished in ecstasy,
and sink into nothing.
Before turning into life.
Deep in the Woods
Deep in the woods,
the branches dance in the wind,
wild and free,
Spreading their fragrance for
you and me.
Wild flowers sway,
as the wind try's picking them up,
Their roots planted firmly,
as they flow from side to side,
showing us all their glory,
and our makers touch inside,
shadows follow as they calmly go slow,
Deep in the woods,
time is well known,
as night takes hold,
until the morning,
when light takes control.
Tinkling Bells
When it gets dark and the clock strikes twelve,
 Freezing winds pass blushing the silver bell.
 Snowballs move slowly like a trotting horse,
 Boisterous breezes push open the casements with force.
 Then from dark deep skies, under the clouds shed,
 With reindeers pulling the sledge, comes Santa in red.
 Long beard, pot belly, and conic hat on head,
 Holding the bag full of presents and spells moves to their bed.
 Adorned stags nod head and thump hoof,
 Snorts slowly as Santa ascends to roof.
 Springs into chimney, rests on floor,
 Hoofs clatter, bells tinkle bit more, as he opens the door.
 Twelve months, several weeks, the season comes to end,
 People wait every time for the like trend.
 New Year brings along fresh dusk and dawn,
 New plans made again, old ones are torn.
 Endows our wishes, presents us bliss,
 Santa bows down and gives our cheeks a kiss.
 Bestow gifts, making us cheer,
 Yaps aloud Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Tale of the White Snow Turtles
In the deep of the snow, In the dead of winter,
Under the Aurora Borealis taking our breath away.
The snow turtles jostle, and skittle, and Skim the snow,
All in a beautifully quiet nights, bountiful, wonderful play.
Man has seldom seen this recluse, so gentle and so renowned.
White as the snow packed earth itself, they simply can’t be found.
They sled and slide and scurry to hide before the break of day,
No one knows they’re even there, for they make not even a sound.
Animals respect them for they can’t make them into prey.
Even the polar bears leave them alone, except for to play.
And no matter how much the bears bat them about, I say!
They just close up and go wherever they are conveyed.
Magical, they can swim waters quite cold and really deep.
They eat the little fishes and enjoy whatever they can reap.
A man will never find their den as they dig into the frozen snow,
For like the tundra gophers, they live in the frozen ground below.
I swear they do exist, for a baby once came to me, admiring my fishing pole.
For I had lots of little tasty, yummy, fish that he wanted my son and I to throw.
We obliged him just that once, and then for more nights before we left his land.
But if you're going searching there’s something I should let you know, offhand.
They only show themselves to the pure of heart with a fish offering in your hand.
Home
twenty-four hours and counting.........
I have been called home to the realm above
I must submit a bow and gracefully move forward
I must leave you behind my friend, my life....
But, for now......
I shall,
sing a symphony of celebration
dance naked deep within the trees of belief
dive from the highest cliff I can find
sit quietly and sip chamomile tea
I will run as fast as I can
skipping and jumping up to each cloud I see
I will relish each moment with a ponder and a plea
as the clock tics down to a grand completion
I will fall upon my knees
a prayer of thanks I will recite
a word of encouragement to each one who has brought me into the light
I sit for now, grateful for each second spent next to you
a grateful journey of splendid yesterdays
joyous the celebration , I pledge to watch over thee
goodbye for now.........
soon a flight to be free.................
quite a Tantalize sensation
wings
a halo
yes , it is me..........
2012
I dedicate my 2012 to the one I love most...
Ouch! I shake my hand and stare at the door knob in disbelief.
I open the front door and wince as the scorching late morning sun burns my face. I close my eyes and think back to when I was kid, standing too close to the BBQ as Dad lit it...BIG mistake.
   I close the door behind me and trip over my towel that had fallen in my chaotic response to the hot mid June weather.
Confident from my recent gym ambition, I let my towel fall off my shoulder and reveal my newly sculpted body to the world as I casually approach the giant pool gate.
I swing open the gate and walk in...that's when it hit me...SHE hit me.
Laying on her beautifully toned tummy...I am a sucker for a woman's stomach; sensual, smooth, so full of subtle detail, the holder of life.
   I shake my head and snap back to reality in time to catch myself from nearly falling over. I lean down quickly and pick up my jaw from the ground in hopes she didn't notice.
Her cardinal red hair up in a bun, or pony tail...I guess wildly as men do.
I walk by as stable as I can... "don't stare, don't stare, don't stare," I whisper to myself.
THUMP-THUMP!, THUMP-THUMP! THUMP-THUMP!
   My heart beats so intense I can feel it pulsating through my temples.
I reach the lawn chairs and settle down 20ft from her. Directly diagonal to her right shoulder...her wonderfully shaped, perfectly curved shoulders.
I tell myself to look away but cannot help.
An intense magnetic force pulls my attention to her, I try with all my being to fight it but cannot advert my eyes. I yell at my brain to drop curtains on my eyes but no response. Giving into her dream-like curved body, the sweet gently sweeping motion from the back of her neck to her luscious, tanned cheeked backside. Her legs are incredible. I continue my stare. A non perverted stare of course. I'm taken back to college art classes. The overwhelming amounts of anatomy classes and sketches...
Never had I seen such flawlessness.
   Who was this girl laying by my pool? The most incredibly indescribable woman I have seen and yet, I had only seen half!
Just as if I was narrating aloud this profound experience, she turned over and rolled onto her back.
Dying the darkest, ugliest death, then awaking to ALL of Heaven's golden warmth doesn't compare to when I looked into her blue-green eyes.
Frozen in that moment in time, I had without a doubt, found the woman I knew I was to spend the rest of my life with.
Blooming Gifts
Bright, blooming gifts in the garden, floral crowns inspire like a prayer. I hear whispers from the Jordan on breezes through olive trees, fair. Bell flowers painted royally, bright, blooming gifts in the garden, splendor chiming, God is with me. His grace smiles on beauty within. Iris petals of blue satin sway o'er each daisy and poppy. Bright, blooming gifts in the garden, the glory of Gethsemane. A picture of Heaven serene as rose buds breathe new life again. Spring's kiss, a spectacular scene, Bright blooming gifts in the garden. what christmas means to you
 Even though at this time of year it is supposed
to be a time forpeace and goodwill with happiness
and goodcheer is that really
something we see clear.
People may do their best to forget the troubled
times with their pain and distress,
to join in the festive fun and enjoy the
dinner well-done.
Should it be just once a year that we
make a special time to share with
our loved ones so dear.
Ofcourse we can do this through-out the year
make it a time to get together and build
on our relationships with others as we
strenghthen the bonds with sisters,Fathers
Brothers and our Mothers.
December 25th is not the birth of Christ it
is just a Mere Myth so why people
celebrate this certain date is something
for others to think and contemplate.
Times are increasingly more difficult and
understandingly we want to enjoy ourselves
only natrual but this season seems to give
people an excuse in which they reason
to over-eat, and drink to excess to
 drown their sorrows they express
as the Special day ends their lives return
back to normal tomorrow.
It can be a lonely time for many in this
December month as some are alone
during this holiday and that can be
sad for some while it seems the rest of the world
 are having a goodtime and lots of fun.
There are many through-out the world who
are still suffering  from lack of food and sanitation
no water which causes severe de-hydration don't
you think it is only right to spare a thought for such
ones going through a terrible time of starvation it kills
slowly and affects many atribe and nation.
Thousands may donate to these ones to give hope
they can revive many in order to help them
survive, but many loose their battle as it is
too great to cure as so many struggle to
endure the distress of hunger pangs .
The moral of this poem is to encourage people
to think of the world and not just for a split second then
blink. Take time to count your blessings and be
thankful for what we have and also about the peace
and security we wish to possess in the world will
we really see a world full of peace well
in the Bible it gives us a promise and hope
that soon God is going to take action and intervene
in human affairs and this will be our release, to prove to us that he deeply
and truly cares and that is a promise bestowed
to us beyond comapare.
It gives much comfortto know there is a brighter
future for all who wish to take
lifes water free God will do this
a promise we will soon see.
Season's Greetings!
Oh yes! I am bringing to you my sweetest “Season’s Greetings”!
We’re all for one and one for all we have our gradual meetings!
In just one single season;
I can change my very significance,
Into my natural underlining supernatural spiritual being,
I am inducted into a higher level of a thorough healing.
Autumn decorates Mother Earth’s leaves with painted colors of a much clever design.
Winter sheds its leaves harvesting bared naked trees perfected by one purely divine.
Spring brings many blessings by bundles pleasing my senses delicately I’m breathing.
Summer sparkles in midnight’s mystical air soothing my torturous day stained in sweat.
Balanced by my four winds in heaven into brilliant glory,
Each day you and I personally have pleasured and met!
“Season’s Greetings”!
Great Goodness!
I ‘m believing in exactly what it is I‘m seeing and feeling!
“Season’s Greetings”!
Goodness Gracious!
I’m feeling Mother Earth moving a healing inside of my own natural being!
A Sun so bright, glaring shiny throughout the endless midnight skies spreading wide out.
A Moon so light, beams flow through down into depths of seas netting webs on a mount.
Skies so high my breath loses sight in the glare of golden visions all at once I forebear.
Shallow rivers and high Mountains sounding to winds of decrees summoned by degree!
Valleys and fields rain top rocks of thunderous clouds striking down at the perfect pair.
‘Tis Season’s Greeting adjacent to humbling breaths with heirs to a mightier new year!
Christmas Without Magic
Christmas without any magic,
Would be the darkest of days,
There wouldn’t be any presents,
Without the wonder of Santa’s ways,
The lights in the eyes of the children,
Would become as dull as the light-less tree,
Now standing outside in the garden,
And not in the house as should be,
There would be no cards on the mantle,
No messages from family and friends,
No reason to think of our loved ones,
Or for our faults make amends.
And without the greatest miracle,
Of our own dear Saviours birth,
There would be no hope for all mankind,
No peace for men on Earth,
No non-deserved forgiveness,
For the many times we fail,
And no happily ever after,
At the end of our life’s long tale.
Soul of a saint ~ Life of a new beginning
she walked quietly back to her sanctuary
wings aflutter
a dream in her heart
she longed to fulfill her mission
a quest to bring a saddened soul to the glory of the eternal light
in dedication she spent long nights in prayer
she came to me in the sparkling light of that October morning
she said I was one of the chosen
she talked of miracles......
she spoke of trials......
she taught me of  love ,  faith and of hope
a vessel sent to me so that I may live again
a gift of the holy ghost
a promise delivered
with a tear I ask that I may receive......
beautiful angel of mine
you have a "soul of a saint"
you bring me a "life of a new beginning"
I fall to my knees in prayer
a song of eternity accompanies.....
pure white visions surround,
a deep love fulfilled.................
amen
Jubilation (Christmas In July)
I'll decorate the trees outside
with sparkling tinsel
and dreamy ties
the sun beating down
in all hope and all joy
a beautiful picture under a mid-July sky
colors aglow of reds and greens
a spirit of inspiration
a story to apprise
a hymn of a miracle
we gather to sing
embracing each one, his story arise
a loving sense of our being
a Christmas jubilation we all cherish
a celebration of our king, with each breath a surprise......
MYSTIC PARABLE
Stories dared not whispered, legend of great thinker.
Artificially created Atlantis, maze search for law-giver.
Hushed lips speak no evil, silly little monkey cliche.
Privy ancient knowledge, not clear as light and day.
So-called peace-loving demigods, closely followed in trace.
Sexually crazed fools, copying angels fallen from grace.
Pillars of Hercules within island, dynasty king frenzy awoke.
Powerful and remarkable, ready to enslave at single stroke.
Originally thought to be noble, conspicuous reveal greed.
In route to world domination, struck down by Specialbreed.
Later time earthquakes and floods, extraordinary violence.
Single dreadful day and night, massive lost of innocence.
Intervening super mighty one, so-called wrathful Zeus.
Manipulation of elements, water and lightning bolts let loose.
Grand golden wall palace, swept aside sea and sunk below.
Ironical measured payment, for employment of ruthless blow.
Swiming through labyrinth of wisdom, vie of the celest'.
Chancing risk of schism, mighty sequential vignette.
Perplexed pattern in hide, bloody seal of truth.
Illuminati repelled, for a time real minoot.
Message of twisted tongue, langual contrivance.
Masters' visions swoon, in journey through euphoric trance.
Loud whisper switch, silence left in wake.
Souls of denizens burned, in fiery scourching shake.
Prominent eclectic short order, alien wishbone act.
Convert of non-belief, fierce zealots' minds impact.
Lucid broken water reflection, visible-eye agleam.
Blind finding quarry, standing like obelisk beam.
Instinctive overriding, a slip into lucidity.
Telepathic mind connection, recede to infinity.
Exponential theory, base of schematics.
Common like maybe, superpower military tactics.
Voice of bleeding knowledge, fade to obscurity.
Mystic in strange land, fault found in masters of intricacy.
Undecipherable rhetoric, great monster on chase.
Featureless darkness, a threat to human race!
Cycles and patterns
Rain drops look like heartbeats
Broken in two, melting away candle
Wax into the blue
My teeth chatter because of the cold
The ancient age of old
Has made me stand upon two feet
In one accord, singing to this beat,
One last breath shall be the very first
Kiss that put in his this hearse,
When she felt sweet sorrows stale
And made the prison of my heart bail.
I thought about these gifts and promises
That she made on a piece of paper with no list
And it died earlier on this way and that
The skinny takes away the bone and its fat
It was a deception of faces in the rain
A smile through deep pain
Inside was intercession
To beat this tiger’s aggression
It made me learn something new everyday
To learn this lesson,
That fact that she wouldn’t stay,
I thought about what came next,
Then what happened was what
Came from beneath the ocean waves that had me sore vexed
Running over in my cup, was the heart, out of all the blood.
It started raining from above the ceiling
Cracks of my heart peeling,
Putting away furniture and dress’s
Speaking to a room of noise and mess’s
Voices disguised my male and female
Dish’s, draining away life
That would make harmony come into one flesh.
New Beginnings April 1998
Like a garden path,
Life has many turns
Bringing forth new beginnings
And new friends
We hold on lovingly
To old ones,
Like the sweet jasmine on the walls.
Renewing boarders with flowers,
Scents and colours,
The joy of which we are yet to know.
Yoga
my physical body......yearn......
my mental being......reach......
my spiritual energy.....pull......
within my sanctuary
of mind, body and soul
I center in a calming request
of spirit awakening
with scattered energies tossed along the ebbing shore line
I must focus......
I must touch ailment......
I must harness thy yoke of completion
my breath slows in silent acceptance
as a single sun beam calls of gracious salutations
my spirit drift endless
of cresent moon at twilights eve.
and warriors song in mornings mist
as warmth showers my flesh
my spirit tingle complete
touching a loving convergence, the ultimate purity received
I become one as the spirit calls
with each breath, completion......
DESTINY....PUSH.......
I'M PREGNANT WITH DESTINY.THIS WASN'T A NORMAL PREGNANCY.
IT STARTED LIKE A MUSTARD SEED; IT GREW INSIDE ME LIKE A
BABY...THE FEELING I FELT WASN'T IN WEBSTERS DICTIONARY...
WORDS THAT MORTAL MAN CAN NOT DESCRIBE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
ONLY IN HEAVENLY TONGUES..
MUSTARDS SEEDS REQUIRE A SPECIAL KIND OF DIET.NATURAL FOOD WAS FOR THE FLESH.THE SOUL REQUIRE THE BOOK OF GENESIS;AND BY THE
NINTH MONTH IT WAS FEEDING ON SOME REVELATIONS... THIS WAS JULIANT.BRINGING ME TO THAT MARVELOUS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.
MY MUSTARD SEED IS IN THE BIRTH CANAL.FATHER GOD PREPARED ME FOR THIS SEASON.NOW, MY TIME HAS ARRIVED TO PUSH MY MUSTARD SEED THROUGH...
PUSH OUT YOUR SINS AND REPENT.
PUSH OUT YOUR STRONGHOLDS YOU KNOW..
PUSH OUT YOUR DELIVERENCE
PUSH OUT THE WATER FOM THE TEARS YOU CRIED
AND THE PETITION PRAYERS YOU SENT UP TO THE SKY.
PUSH OUT YOUR GIFTINGS....
NOW HERE COMES THE ANNOINTED
DESTINY.....IS HER NAME...........
Merry Christmas to All
Though we all do celebrate birthdays,
the best birthday,
falls on the twenty fifth of December,
as on this day,
our Lord,
Jesus Christ had been born,
the day is considered indeed great,
as the Son of God,
had come into this world,
and had left us by forgiving our sins,
the day begins,
by people of all castes visiting various Churches,
and offering their prayers to the Lord in here,
on this day,
the day is celebrated with a lot of passion,
and fervour,
wherein we also get to wine and dance,
and be merry all the while,
the kids are quite happy,
as on this day,
they receive lovely gifts,
for been good kids,
from a very special man,
known as Santa Claus
by acting as a postman,
but differs in style and in his way,
by delivering the gifts in advance,
as he does know that,
there is no use in relying with the snail mail,
and the kids would indeed be sad,
if they don’t get their presents in time,
whereby he does not take the usual route,
but always takes the wrong one,
by entering through the chimneys
or through the fireholes,
how he does it,
we have no idea,
inspite of been fat,
his favourite are the cookies indeed,
wherein he seeks an easier way to get into the houses of the kids,
here’s a message,
he leaves for you all,
wishing you all a Merry Christmas!!
Our Gifted Spring
Beauty is nothing; nothing if not spring,
flora shooting, oozing to cover bare
earth that winter spent, stripped; now gives green.
New life God has planted, planned with care
and bathed the globe with rains, spare and clean.
The air, great gasps of spring; the springing air,
blossom of peach and pear, scents fresh and keen.
Wonders of wonder all are flaxen fair.
Praise gifts, which bring this juice, bring us this joy.
Praise gifts of face found and fine wildflowers.
Praise gifts, and praise our debt for springtime’s cloy-
breadth of earth’s wild bounty, it is ours.
Praise gifts of song, for songbirds on bright wing.
Renewing life; Oh! Praise our gifted spring.
This Load I Carry
Along the road of life, I carry a large load… It feels quite heavy… As I travel a “bumpy” road. This load I carry is often difficult to bear… At times, I stumble… And caught “unaware…” The trials and hardships of life… I shall endure… I’ll try to stay on a path that is “safe” and “secure.” There are times, however, when I get in a hurry... As the storms of life often cause a “flurry.” During my travel… As I look up to the darkened skies… I can almost look into my heavenly father’s eyes… As God reaches down his arms so strong… He’s there to lead me when things go wrong. The Lord is there to help with my heavy burden… He’s also my guiding light… through life's "dark curtain!" The Lord is my shepherd and is with me where I go… He’s brought strength and rest for my weary soul. This load I carry may be full of so many things… But grows lighter because of the love that God brings! By Jim Pemberton
The Longest Road
The longest road that I recall,
isn’t very long at all
I used to ride it is a child
on sunny Saturday afternoons
my sister and I play car games
she says “That is your house”
and points to a trailer
I say “This is yours”
and point to a dumpster
Yet we do not worry
what really will become of us
We continue in our coloring books
Along with an old banjo cassette
and when we feel gravel under the tires
and we can no longer color inside the lines
we’ll know we are close to arrival.
My sister graduates from Law school this may
and I am just now getting started
The longest road that I recall
Isn’t really long at all.
Leaves fall down
Leaves fall down
-	To the barren ground
Winter sails inward
Wind blows fierce
Alone on a hillside
-	Majestic, at peace
Stands the tree in all beauty
Without any leaves
No thought, plans, or worries
-	No stress or woe
No shame, darkness, or pity
“To be” is all it knows
The lessons to be learned
-	 Every day, every hour
From nature’s calm acceptance
To relinquish hope for power
We are one with the universe
-	No beginning and no end
We are all here in this together
Flora, fauna, Father, friend
The Open Window
I’m already ahead and stirring before that fiery Sunrise appears every single morning.
I'm quickly catching up to my own waiting for the breaking of this phenomenal day.
My coffee will be in my hand right when my thoughts once again start freshly forming!
Ah, I’m feeling alive inside and I think I’ll just stay right here for each second of today.
I glide through my house to stream Sunlight in by pulling every single window shade up,
I toast this day pouring my fresh hot brew straight into my scuffed up old-timers tin cup.
It’s the open window where I see my birds on my oak tree branches singing and playing,
I just stand at the open window licking early morning honeydew from my lips and I say,
Now this is the most outstanding way to start any God given day with this superb array!
There are just so many smelly buttercups blooming out for me to pluck them up to sup!
I’m smiling whistling and getting enthusiastic about allowing myself to get carried away,
Because I hear my happy little birdies singing their hearts out to me and they’re in tune!
Let us in! Let us in! They twitter their tweets with chirps,
Let us in and we will sing all day long just to be near you.
Laughing and giggling at my birdies I am just tickled pink,
No way Jose!
I can’t sing!
My silly, silly little birdies,
Y’all know my singing stinks.
My buzzing bumbling bee hummers away driving at the winds to boot,
I holler and holler for that goofy buzzer until I’m just not giving a hoot.
So I lift my tin cup up and in my air I toast to a genuine wholeness today,
By the open window I whisper to my eternally inspirational four winds of heaven,
Forever you may live insde my breaths majestically just as my infallible Sunrays!
Back To The Beginning
Back To the Beginning
I remember
As a little girl
Christmas Eve sitting around the fireplace
With my brothers and sisters
Listening to Mom and Dad
As they told us the story
Of the first Christmas
Christmas morning getting up and getting dressed
Going to church in our Sunday best
Mom and Dad walking up the aisle
With five little ones right behind
I really miss those times
When Mom and Dad made Christmas special
Never losing the true meaning
Always taking us
Back To the Beginning
I am all grown up now
As I find myself, getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of Holiday shopping
Competing with whatever I did last year
Then there is a moment when I stop and think
Of Christmases past
How back then it did not matter what it was
How it was all about the togetherness
The fun of getting ready and going to
Christmas Mass
Then coming home and all helping prepare
Christmas Dinner
Opening gifts and seeing what Santa brought us was nice I admit
The true spirit of Christmas
Is what I miss the most
Therefore, I take myself
Back To the Beginning
As I hang each ornament on that tree
Hang lights around a door or window
I think about how I can show a good example
Do what Mom and Dad did for me and
Take my loved ones
Back To the Beginning
Lead by example that is what I have learned
So this year though I may give a few gifts
I will keep in mind
The person I am trying to find a gift for
Why are they so special and dear to me
What would be the best way to show
Them how much they mean to me.
Most of all I want to help
Remind them
Or teach them
What Mom and Dad taught me
The true meaning of Christmas
So please dear Lord help me
As I take my loved ones with me
The Secret Revealed to Joseph
The Secret Revealed to Joseph
©2011 C. Brent Cloyd
About the birth of Christ men have much to say,
But the Bible says it came about this way.
Joseph proposed and to Mary was engaged,
But then he received news that left him enraged.
She was pregnant, Joseph, surprised discovered.
A cloud of fear and shame around her hovered.
Joseph knew that to him it did not belong.
His natural response was she had done wrong.
Embarrassed, Joseph needed to save some face,
Yet wanted to spare Mary public disgrace.
It was decided they would quietly divorce,
Live separate lives on a different course.
Considering this option, he had a dream,
An angel revealed “things were not as they seem”.
The child she carries was not seeded by man.
The life planted in her was by divine plan.
That conceived in her is by the Holy Ghost,
A gift from on high, wrapped by the Lord of host
Now take her as your wife and be not afraid.
The prophets foretold that this plan had been made
A son will be born; Jesus will be His name,
A much needed savior who will merit fame.
Misunderstood, earth’s favor He will not win,
But He will save man from penalty of sin.
His true identity known only by few,
His childhood well-being I entrust to you,
His worth and character men will much discuss.
They will call Him Immanuel, “God with us”.
God Said I AM
God said;  My provision for you
 is more than enough.
I'll see you through when the going gets rough.
I'll give you joy unspeakable and the half hasn't been told.
I am Jehovah...your provider...
more precious than gold.
I am the sufficient one who's able
 to meet your need.
Come to the table I've prepared for you...and feed.
Eat of the Bread of Life that
only I can give!
Allow it to enrich your soul
each day you live.
Come and drink of my water which
 never shall run dry.
I am the eternal one.! I am El-Shaddai!
I can quench your thirst in a dry and barren land.
I am here for you!  Give me your trust and your hand.
Let me do what no other power or God can do.
I am that I am!   I am God!   And I'm here for you!
Memories Of Christmas
Memories of Christmas through the years,
Have brought lots of laughter and many tears.
Memories of those who have gone on home,
Sometimes leave us sad and alone.
The good times that were had by all,
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, their happy faces I recall!
The gifts that were given, the fellowship we shared,
The love we all had, showed each other we cared.
The trees were so pretty, the food, oh so good,
Sometimes we would go caroling in the neighborhood.
We would exchange gifts by drawing names,
Some would get clothes, others might get games.
The homes would be decorated with ornaments and lights,
And we would all feast on the many delights!
There would be cakes, cookies, sandwiches, pies, and punch,
Some might eat a lot, others would just munch.
Before you knew it the night would be gone,
And the wait for next year would seem so very long!
But Christmas means more than just these things,
As we remember the birth of the Christ child and the salvation He brings!
He came into this world in a meek and lowly way,
Born of a virgin and in a manger lay.
The Shephards were frightened as the angels came to say,
The great news of His birth on this special day!
Born in Bethlehem, God's only son,
Savior from our sins, He is the only one!
So as I remember the Christmas's of old,
The greatest of all, was the one the prophets foretold!
The Saving Light of Calvary
The Saving Light of Calvary Stand not in the shadow of the cross But rather in its saving light. For the shadow portrays death; The light makes sinners right. There’s no sin so great His forgiveness cannot touch. He’s healed them all before, Because He loves so much. Stand not in the shadow of the cross For there it’s too hard to see Anything other than hardships; The world’s constant misery. The Saving Light of Calvary Lights up all the world! You have the choice today; The result of your choice to be unfurled. The Saving Light of Calvary Makes shadows a thing of the past. Look forward to the light For this old world won’t last. Joy and peace will attend your soul, When you stand in the Saving Light. Even if the future appears bleak, Christ will give you insight. For The Saving Light of Calvary, He suffered more than we can know. All he asks is that we surrender Our lives to him here below. For Everything There Is A Season And A Divine Reason
There is a time for each season…
To everything made…
There is a divine reason.
A time for purpose under
 the heavens above…
A time for meaning from a God of love.
A time to be born.  A time to die…
A time to farm the ground
 under the beautiful sky.
A time to kill.  A time to heal...
A time to tear down and
 to build up with a passion and zeal
A time for weeping.   A time for laughing…
A time to mourn.  A time for dancing.
A time to keep...
A time to throw away.
A time to tear.  A time to make amends today.
A time to get.  A time for losing…
A time to keep.  And to give
 away at our choosing.
A time for silence.  A time to speak…
A time for each hour
 and day of the week.
A time for love.  A time for hate…
A time for war.  A time for peace at your gate.
How will you spend the time
 God has given to you?
What is your choice?  What will you do???
May this be a time living in
God’s purpose and design.
He created you and made
everything beautiful in his time!
See the wonders of the world
As they pass to us unfurled
Such an amazing light
Sun shining so bright
Flying on the wing
Hear the birds sing
The grass so green
Such a sight has you ever seen
The lilies in bloom
Orange hue in their flume
I see stars in my head
Of the roses so deeply red
The crate myrtles so pink
They cause me to blink
Birds sitting in the trees
Catching the cool summer breeze
Dogs continually play
Let them stay and have their way
The fluffy clouds so high
Up, up high in the sky
The trees they sway
In the wind they play
The magnolia blooms
The beautiful pearly white flumes
The scent so pungent
So sweet to the smell
The bees they separate
Jump from flower to flower to pollinate
God’s wonderful earth
Created for our birth
We shall begin again
From now until the end
SERENITY RESPONSE
SERENITY RESPONSE
The winds of autumn blow
Creating change
The crux of the matter
Do I bend or do I break?
Willow knows the truth
She may weep besides waters deep
But she drinks in courage to face the future
And bends when winds do blow
And in her serenity - she survives
'She accepts the things she cannot change'
Sharing nakedness broad in noble plan,
What If Christmas Never Came
 UNSUPPORTED CODE What If…   Christmas Never Came???
What if Christmas never happened?
What if Christmas never came?
Things around here would be different!
It wouldn’t be the same!
What if the baby Jesus was never born in a manger?
Mankind would be in serious trouble. We’d all be in danger!
If the baby Jesus wasn’t born.  There would be no nativity.
We wouldn’t be able to display this during our “festivity.”
It’s almost like this now!
 It’s an “ever increasing business.”
It seems like nearly everyone wants
  “Christ out of Christmas!”
Why does it seem like Christmas is
 losing it’s true meaning?
The very words; “Merry Christmas,”
seem to be quickly disappearing!
Many say; “Happy Holiday.”
They worry they may “offend.”
Having a “holiday” without Christ….
Once again!
We need to put Jesus Christ back into
our CHRISTmas season!
He is what Christmas is about!  HE is the very reason!
May we all take some time to rejoice in our savior’s birth.
May there be shouts of JOY!  From the corners of the earth!
Let’s not take Christ out of our joyous celebration!
We need him so much right now!
 All over this great nation!
May we bring to him a heart of love
 for everything he’s done.
As we bring honor to Christ.  God’s precious son!
May we continually offer to him a heart filled with praise!
Not only at Christmas time…  But all of our days!
REASONS AND SEASONS
What best friends
hand in hand you walk
existing together through time, never separated
for reasons do seasons exist
Not always expected but you show up anyway,
with each ticking of the clock am assured you're still there only to show up at the
right time
seasons are for reasons
reasons for seasons never defined
Time comes and goes
tears fall, pain laughter, glory and shame exist
expectations are fulfilled or denied
all in it's seasons for it's reasons
You wait for no one
never delayed, never hastened
nothing holds you back not even fear
you are indeed the season that exist for your own reason
making all things beautiful in it's season for it's reason
beneath a blanket of fallen snow
inspiring faith in tomorrow
I Send My Heart to Japan
Once again the Supreme Player has dealt the unfortunate card
From the famine in my lands
To the quakes in Haiti, and the other parts
Then the floods in Australia
Now the quake in Japan
I wonder what to make of these times
In the meantime, I’m just gonna be glad to be alive
And send my heart to those who survived
Sorry for the greatest loss of your time
My kind and I will each lend a hand in kind
Continue to see yourself as worthy in the eyes of your creator
For such are the shortcomings of nature
Even we human beings who’re meant to be better,
...always falter
Even the machines we make with our acute intelligence,
...always have their failures
It’s not time to point fingers of blame
It’s time to offer tonnes of help
Even he who has help worth only a feather’s weight
Will find his place in the plaque of gratitude
...For helping restore the better days
The past is what was
The present is the gift we’ve been waiting for
We must now make profit of the achievements we harnessed in yester days
For today is for the purpose of manufacturing a better day
It is so hard to move forward while fixated with the scenery passed
So please to all of us in misfortunes of a kind
Let’s carry on ahead and take from the past
....only the wealth of better lessons and faith
For as sure as one step ahead of the next will make us progress
Tomorrow is sure to erase all the sorrows and regrets
...and all the pains of yester days
Be keen, on your face a better smile to paint
Be keen, in your heart a better feeling to pump
Be keen, in your mind a better lesson to plant
Be keen, in your present a better experience to deserve
Be keen, in your future a better result to forecast
Believe The Dream (The Lament Of Saint Nick)
Drifts snow upon the road - shines stars like diamond spark,
above the sodium glow of streets - falls omnipresent dark.
Blaze bright the window panes - translucent curtains drawn,
curls smoke in charcoal twists - the long descent to dawn.
Await the children there - quilted and cocooned,
eyes closed in sleeping trust - on dreaming isles marooned.
Faith no more lies pale - yet burns with love inflamed,
fanned by the breath of hope - and innocence reclaimed.
If only adult minds - that drain 'till they fall cold,
could feel this dream again - turn rusted thoughts to gold.
Then they would know full well - the love of ancient kings,
the wonder and the grace - of joy in childlike things.
Bright visitor returns - his yearly, ceaseless quest,
with eyes of gleaming frost - and gifts of timelessness.
In morning tide the eyes - of children hold his gleam
and all things may be possible - if they believe the dream...
A Glimpse of Promise
We welcome unexpected winter births
In this cold country: A new warmth
Delivered in our midst.
So far a-field we are, no home or hearth,
Our lives and this somehow entwined,
His investment in future's salvation
Safe within this small skin.
Awakened in darkness, eyes straining to
See the faces of the desperate, hopeless
Strangers aching for a glimpse of promise.
Sleep now, precious gift, and do not
Dream of tomorrow's tomorrow.  Love's labor
Will stay the bitter Easter for this
Christmas child.
For a while.
THE TENDER BEAUTY THAT SPRING WAS
Nothing makes one forget the stillness of a warm noon
more than that memorable stroll
with our sweetheart as butterflies
gently flutter over us to be admired, making us
remember the tender beauty that spring was.
Everything around us emanates joy,
harmony is seen everywhere in this forest,
but peace isn't the only thing the traveler seeks,
and surely bluejays can arise much curiosity
with their songs that sound good to the ear.
Walk with us on flowery paths, say hello
to the timid squirrels with long, patchy tails;
rosemary bushes are fragrantly sweet...
to remind all the tender beauty that spring was.
MyTreeAndI
By dusk, the day will take its toll
I unwind with my daily stroll
And every day my eyes behold
A tree, upon a mound.
I see his life how he would see
We keep eachother company
Together, just my tree and me
And noone else around.
We laugh and sing and dance and play
And quickly waste the sun away
And soon its light that lights the day
Is nowhere to be found.
And now it seems I cannot see
I’m stuck here, fading, with my tree
Embraced, my mind becomes the leaves
My soul becomes the ground.
The Prince of Life Has Risen
The Prince of Life Has Risen The prince of darkness Had the Savior’s tomb sealed. One hundred guards stationed all about, But a great earthquake all revealed. A heavenly angel clothed with bright beams Of God’s glory illuminating his pathway. The guards shook with great fear; The hosts of darkness fled away. This angel moved the stone, As though it were a pebble. He called to Christ, “Son of God come forth.” The earth shook, lightening and thunder to assemble. Christ came forth from the grave With the tread of a conqueror; Brightness lit the end of the night; Roman guards fainted, each like a toy warrior. The Prince of Life Has Risen; An earthquake witnessed the moment. Over sin He triumphed And over every mortal torment. Satan thought he’d triumphed, As Christ lay asleep in His grave, But when He arose on Sunday morning, Satan knew this kingdom he couldn’t save. He knows he must finally die And that’s why Satan wants revenge. The destruction of as many as he can— God the Father to avenge. The Prince of Life Has Risen And will destroy Satan in the end. So choose not the darkness, But the glory that our Prince of Life does send. Copyright © Maureen LeFanue 2008-2012 Featured in Easter Poem’s Book published 2012 www.maureenlefanue.com
KEY WEST RESEMBLES A DESERT
A luminous sun steadily glaring
Becomes a phenomenal scene
Can blind the observer's eyes
Diffusing its light very quickly
Effulgent as a winter's moon
Fascinating as the calmest sea
Grand illusion of the unreachable Paradise
Herald of the unconquerable skies
Image of the painter's mind
Jocular clouds turning gold
Key West resembles a desert
Lambent dense buckwheat
Masterpiece of His handiwork
Nascent serenity exalted by bells
October's imminent farewell
Piercing the peace of a perfect morning
Quotidian prayer recited by the fisherman
Ravishing his sincere soul
Satisfying the unwavering belief
Tending to instill more faith
Unimpeachable as integrity
Veracious as Christ himself
Wayward as untamed wind
xenon turning to sweet aroma
Yellow bay guarded by black rocks
Zenith's color is tangerine not blue
SADNESS DISSIPATES AS HAZE
Clouds bring on a storm,
the hidden sun can't keep me warm,
winter is months away,
but sadness dissipates as haze...
when sun rays start a celestial blaze;
who, besides me, wouldn't wish to stay?
On this bay, the ocean breeze
is cooler than the city's wind...
nothing get trapped among skyscrapers;
I can easily breathe and think of something wild:
like sailing on the fastest boat and discover amazing places
and nearing the orange horizon, I'll succumb to tears!
Come brilliant sunset, pause to let me admire
how you spread your pastels throughout the entire universe
to make many dream, or wish they owned some of it for escape;
come lovely sunset, and charm me with the scenery of bright colors
never seen in the evening sky, and this sighting I'll behold to soothe any dire
to reach the unnamed comets and galaxies beyond it!
Stars march towards me, quicker than warriors,
invading my limited space;
let them shine as many distant suns
while sadness dissipates as haze
to get rid of all menacing clouds...
before they strip meadows of their beautiful flowers!
I Know WHO Holds The Future
Our Future...
I do not know what our
future may bring,
But there's a promise I know...
this one thing.
Jesus has promised to take
care of us,
If we'll simply give HIM
all of our trust.
Sometimes it's difficult...
during times of uncertainty,
But Jesus wants to be
our security...
It's hard to say in words
it really is
To know he is mine
and I am his...
I think of the coming
days ahead...
God's children are never forsaken,
nor their children begging
for bread...
A FIRM FAITH
It was a glorious, hot day soothed by the August's breeze; the town's copper bells
harmoniously chimed in their old, sturdy bell towers
as the band tuned to their festive sound with trumpets, trombones and marching drums.
The large square resounded with thousands of voices,
a procession of faithful flowed to the Church of Saint Stephen.
I ran upstairs with heavy breath to tell my sister to follow
them, but there on the flloor she layed with upward eyes, kind of lifeless;
and so hepeless not to find anyone, I stepped outside and saw
the saint's pious face and invoked Him for a miracle...suddenly I went back,
and instantly her face regained color and she began talking. I was convinced
that such a miracle happened because of my firm faith,
and that vision reinforces my belief that saints are the intercessors of God.
I Can't Break This Habit Lord Help Me
This habit has a hold of me. ..
 I can’t seem to break it!
I’m so discouraged  …  I can’t “shake it!”
I don’t know what to do, or where to turn…
When I tell others about it.
 They’re not concerned…
What am I going to do in a situation like this?
It seems like my life is just one huge mess!
The “satisfaction” I seek… I haven’t obtained.
I’ve only myself…  And no one else to blame…
Many discouraging thoughts
have entered my head.
Each night I cry out loud before going to bed…
I can’t think or do anything like I once did.
I don’t know how much longer
 I ‘m going to live.
Can you help me Jesus?  I know that you can.
There’s no one else who’ll listen
 or understand…
I’m going to get on my knees and begin to pray…
And ask for God’s help.  I’ll do it TODAY!
I trust his power to break this habit of mine…
This is the hour!  This is the time!
I need true freedom.  And a love that will last.
Everything I’ve tried…  Disappears fast!
To you Lord Jesus I give my life that’s broken.
“Please come into my heart…”
  Are the words spoken.
“Help me Lord to have victory within…”
“And thank you Lord for being my friend!”
RIBBONS OF LIGHT
Ribbons of light rained down tonight,
From a moonless, inky sky.
So bright they were as they blew about,
So near and yet so high.
I watched transfixed in wonderment,
As they twisted and billowed out,
And wondered at their merriment,
As they glowed and danced about.
I'm stricken by mystical beauty,
As they writhe across the sky;
Twisting, turning, shooting, churning,
As through the night they fly.
They seem to be a living thing,
At play in the midnight blue;
In a cabalistic ocean,
Of deepest, darkest hue;
Bringing out their colors,
Like a rainbow come alive,
And I'm so blessed to see them,
As they bend and twist and dive.
The wonders of God's handiwork,
Nature at it's best,
Is shown to me when we're alone,
And I'm My Maker's guest.
Knowledge
I look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall dusting the ground where the white wolf calls her cry is soon anwered and then echoed by them all as they look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall I look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall and listen to her mourn for the loss of someone small because she had given birth this same night in her den’s hall but his life did slip away as the white flakes start to fall I look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall I want to join her song and help her to stand tall I raise my voice and sing rising high above them all and add my strength to theirs as the white flakes still did fall I look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall learning that same night which I have never known at all a wolf does not exist without an answer to its call so I look up at the sky and see the white flakes fall
I have arrived
I wonder why that one leaf clings
lone and wind-tattered
to the weathered old oak;
held firm between gnarled fingers
long after the others have given in
to spiral dance in bravery to the ground below
Is there hope, a promise made
between leaf and tree
of something greater yet to come,
or is it reluctance to let go, even fear that inspires such hesitation?
I have been more and less like the second leaf, than the first
(though I would dearly love to know what it waits for)
I lack the patience for hanging around
so I let go
into the arms of fate
never to know whether I will fall or be caught
until I have arrived
My Reasons
The more I am away from you,
The more I want you here.
The more I do without your love,
The more I want you near.
I know that it makes little sense
To want what's not around,
But there's just one true love for me
And that's the one I've found.
We've gone through all the weather maps,
The sunshine and the rain,
But I would take a sea of storms
To be with you again.
Love must be so pliant
Love must be so pliant ,
like a blade of grass,
Bowing to the wind,
till the storm has passed.
Love is enigmatic
Like the sphinx’s smile.
Waiting for an answer,
Nothing is on file.
Love is often near us
Yet we do not see.
Sometimes where we are
Is just the place to be
God What A Wonder YOU ARE
God...  What a wonder
 you really are!
You formed every planet
and every star.
You created and put
everything into place.
Your creation is a reflection of
your beauty and grace.
Over everything.
 Lord God.  You rule.
The heavens are your throneroom.
The earth...  Your footstool!
All of creation groans
in anticipation of Christ' return.
We shall get a new heaven.
One day...  this earth will burn.
God's majestic slendor.
This universe does hold.
Has given me salvation ..
His face I'll behold!
Has given me new life & planted
Sparrow Song
The winter sun stays longer now,
Now as the seasons start to turn,
Returning life beneath the snow,
The snow that held the earth’s sojourn.
A poet sits beneath a tree,
A willow tree bedecked with buds,
The buds of blooms waiting to be,
Beneath the tree, my heart now thuds.
The goddess works her magic round,
Around the earth she calls for life,
The living seeds burst in the ground
Upon the ground, the signs are rife.
The sparrow sings its mating call,
A call to love and dance again,
Once again, the earth lives for all,
And for all ends the winter’s reign.
SPRING AND THE DEVIL'S ARM
      SPRING AND THE DEVIL'S ARM
Abbreviated by an early autumn night
the summer, once tormented by a torrid sun,
relented to September, as if dying might
give reason to all things the heat and time has done;
The stalks of corn, if touched, explode into a dust,
and water tables sink down to a new found low,
but love always goes on, as love, it always must,
through drought and flood, and shortages that come and go.
There in the field, an old man points his maple cane
as if a prophesy, and something we should know,
always, always, always, there will be too much rain,
or not enough, and only love can ever grow.
There is a blizzard brewing, it's part of the plan,
up in the wastelands north, with tons and tons of snow;
and on a winters' morn, snow will be deeper than
the fences seperating everything we know;
and how the wind will howl, and everything will freeze,
there's little we can do, but hope for early spring,
always, always, always, we fall down to our knees
in love and prayer that times like this always will bring.
Next spring the rains will always fall, perhaps too much,
for some the devil's arm will reach down from the sky,
and twisting life about, there is no gentle touch,
excepting love, and that is all that gets us by.
Always, always, always, love has to always be,
though borrowed from the wind, though sought in pain,
though snatched out of the grip of some cotastrophe,
if not for love, there'd be no welcome summer rain.
The Donkey Carol
(Chorus): My name is breda Donkey
               'Pon my back is de Christmas story
               A carry God's son an' mercy
               Down through the ages to wi glory
               De baby born in Bethlehem's manger
               Wi creator, redeemer, how stranger
Ole Balaam let mi carry him
Fi guh sell the Massa prophecy
An angel did appear to him
An' bring me square in history
               Ole Balaam saw a star
               Coming out of Jacob family
               Jesus coming from beyond afar
               To bring all sinners mercy
So one night breda Joseph call mi
Him seh O donkey come carry Mary
I know it was Balaam's prophecy
For Bethlehem's star was bright above me
              No room, no room for the baby
              Not a preacher in the earth was ready
              So mi call 'pon mi animal family
              Jesus cum guh mek yuh manger ready
The street was full of trafficking
While merchants count their money
Wi sang glory to man's joy born king
Jesus is the manger baby
              Hush Mr. cow nuh bawl again
              Red Heifer yuh sacrifice over
              Likkle lambs guh skip 'pon de plain
              Bethlehem bring forth the redeemer
Sweet likkle turtle dove you are free
The covenant of the ark is broken
Sweet Jesus bring love and jubilee
Same de greedy ole Balaam had spoken
              But mi is donkey an mi work nuh done
              Mi labor till de second coming of the son
              Sin is mi burden, but a him it cost
This song is written to the tune of Jamaican folk song: "Good evening, Mrs Cunningham
It is written for two voices that blend to sing the chorus, but sing each stanza in 2 parts.  It
tells the story of Christmas from a donkey's point view, and yet stay true to the Bible
discourse.
Some words are peculiar to the Jamaican dialect for coloring of the song:
Breda: brother; 'pon:upon; de:the; wi:our; ole:old; mi:me; fi:to; guh:go
Cum:come ... had all words recapitulate to the Jamaican dialect even young Jamaicans would
have been alienated --- for the language was not encouraged in our homes where it was
considered bad talking. It is being revived through academics at the UWI again.
Giving My Time To Jesus
Lately... I’ve been wasting time on foolish things. Not living the kind of Godly life that only Jesus brings. Twenty four hours in a day, Jesus. How much time with you is spent? I’ve never really thought of what a commitment to you meant. I need to spend more time in your word and in prayer. Forgive me now of not doing this—I didn’t even care! Even ten minutes with you Jesus is more that this world could give, This is what I need to do—as your child ought to live! So Lord, my time I give to you. Take total control. Make my life new... And by your word... Make it whole! My time with you is important! This I can see! Receiving your joy and knowing how much YOU LOVE ME!! By Jim Pemberton
Have You Been Found GUILTY Come to the Lord
There was a woman caught in an adulterous act.
Her accusers came after her with all of the “facts…”
She came to Jesus. .. With a heart-felt plea.
“Master….”  “Have mercy on someone like me!”
Jesus looked at her as she wept and cried.
So many other things she had already tried.
Coming to Jesus… She felt scared and alone…
Jesus told her accusers; “You without sin.”
 “Throw the first stone.”
One by one… They dropped the stones and fled.
Rather than face the truth…
 They ran away instead…
Jesus told the woman; “Your forgiven.”
 “Go and sin no more…”
She was the meaning of what
God’s grace was meant for.
If you’re caught in a situation,
 with “no way out…”
This is what the meaning
 of salvation is all about!
Any “accusers” you may have,
 will quickly run and hide.
When to Jesus you come…
And have him “on your side…”
Allow the master to cleanse your life this very hour…
And experience the love of his life-changing power!
He’ll take you in with his arms wide open.
“You’re forgiven!”  Will be the lovely words spoken!
Be “caught up” in the savior’s
redeeming grace…
He’ll give you hope and put a smile
 on your face!
Here's The Answer To A Hopeless Situation
Jesus Is the Answer
Jesus is the answer to a hopeless situation
He' brings peace and
the gift of salvation
Jesus is the answer when all seems lost
He purchased your life with
 his death on the cross
Jesus is the answer to "a world gone mad."
He'll give you joy and
a reason to be glad!
Jesus is the answer to a family torn apart.
His love will be the glue
to "fix" a broken heart.
Jesus is the answer when all seems to go wrong.
In his arms of mercy & safety
is where you belong.
Jesus is the answer when there's no one to turn to.
He's here right now...
 patiently waiting for you!
Jesus is the answer and waits at your heart's door.
He'll bring the satisfaction
you've been looking for!
Jesus has the answers in his word... so pure!
The words he speaks
are true and secure!
Why not come to "the answer?"...  For all your prayers?
He is someone who loves you
and really cares!
"The answer" to everything is what he brings!
He's the alpha and the omega...
our EVERYTHING!
Murder of a Betrayed Soul
Have you slowed your busy pace to take notice of a drop of rain?
 As the sun glints through it, do you see its natural and quiet beauty?
Becalm your soul in the exquisite burst of color from a leaf after autumn’s first kiss.
Have you tuned your ear to the fall of the first snowflake of winter?
Become mesmerized by the quiet order in natures every soft footfall?
As the season’s tiptoe past, do you draw inspiration, or blindly immerse yourself in the bland cares and concerns of your daily rush?
Grinding your soul into nothingness on the treadmill of society’s thoughtless whims.
Imprisoned in a self-made sightless box of disregard.
Your spirit slowly snuffed out without so much as an objection to the lack of trial or jury.
Will you call a mistrial, or will you pray for a last minute death row pardon?
Have you betrayed your soul?
                                                                                                                                Summer Gratias
Water
I watched the raindrops
one by one they fell
they filled an empty hole
till it became a well
every word of yours is dew
like this rain I seek
the hole here large and empty
for a cistern of waters keep
Within I hold these waters
as a gift for you
the life within a garden
cannot without them do
The moisture collects in clouds and wind
their circuits round the earth each day
their routes can now be firmly mapped
its requirements to life portray
The bounties hidden in a desert
you won't ever see in bloom
until the rain its torrents fall
saturates the seeds entombed
Your words are livings waters
they must fall upon the seed
they cannot germinate or grow
they require this moistures deed
Mankind's become a desert place
where scorpions and snakes do dwell
life here is with the cold blooded
from the rainforest they have fell
Comprehensive examples  have been left
in all nature and histories show
a better teacher than science books
if we observe what's here to know
The fabric of all of life
holds me like a wadi tell
like an archeologist
who digs the sands and dell
These nations want gold and silver
but true riches they despise
in the end pursuits of vanity
will damn those who think they're wise
Once again you refreshed my mind
when I thought my well be dry
the waters here clean and clear
not bottled with a lie
Jesus Will Lead Me
Jesus is with me every step
that is taken,
With HIM in my life—I am never forsaken!
A straight and narrow path is
what he will make,
He’s there to lead and guide me
every step that I take.
Every choice I have, every step
that is made,
The price for my life—on Calvary—
has been PAID.
His word shall direct me which
way I should go,
It shall be a lamp unto my feet
down here below.
His Holy Spirit will gently give me
Godly correction
And shall always lead me into
the right direction…
Blessed Is He Who Walks Not In The Council Of The Ungodly
Blessed is he, who walks not in the
 counsel of the ungodly.
Nor seeks counsel in their "wisdom" or folly.
Blessed is he, that doesn't stand
in the way of sinners too.
Nor takes part in the things
 that scorners do.
Blessed is he, who deilghts in
obeying God's commands.
He is attentive to his voice,
 and understands.
Blessed is he, who meditates
 on HIS word day and night.
It's the truth of his word,
which gives him delight!
He shall be like a tree planted by
 the streams of water.
Though the fiery trials of life
 seem to get hotter.
He shall bear God's
 fruit in due season.
His love for him is the reason.
When trouble comes his way...
he shall not wither.
God will protect him...
 as a believer!
In all that he does...
his life will be blessed!
In Christ.... he'll find peace
 and a haven of rest...
Blessed is he who is rooted
A Brother Who's Offended
An "Offended Brother..."
"A brother ofended is harder to
reach than a fortified city."
It seems like many brothers
 dwell on their "self-pity..."
Just look at how easy it is for most
brothers to get offended.
It could be you or I...  Or someone
they've befriended...
Many stop having anything to do
 with a particular person.
They read God's word.  But fail to learn
 HIS divine lesson.
Jesus said; "Blessed are you when you're
cursed, persecuted and despised."
So why do so many "brothers" hold
 "vengence in thier eyes?"
Is  there someone you know...
Thay you've completely shut out?
Is this what being God's child...
Is really all about???
If Christ really gave to us.
What we certainly deserve...
Than his blood's atonement.
Would not be perserved..
In spite of our sin and faults...
God's heart bleeds...
He's so willing for forgive
and to meet all of our needs!
Don't allow an offense to turn into
 a "huge brick wall."
Christ came to forgive...
 And to be a sacrifice for all!
Living For Jesus Is A GOOD DECISION
No good decision is made
that starts out as a lie.
A good decision is to live for Jesus--
why not give him a try?
The truth is that God's son died
 for me and you!
The decision to live for him--
what are you going to do?
The lie is..it doesn't matter what
kind of choice you make.
The truth is...you must do it now!
Before it's too late!
You'll never know when your
 last day shall appear.
Your final day on earth
could be very near!
A dedision for Jesus is the best
choice to be made.
His life for yours.. on calvary
has been paid!
Come to the cross and give
everything to him!
Come and experience the joy
of being born again!
A decision based on (God's)truth,
is the best place to start.
Jesus' blood will make within
you a brand new heart.
His gift of salvation is offered
What You're Luck Runs Out You're At A Dead End Road
What if your "luck has all run out?"
"No one listens" no matter
how loud you shout.
What if your life has come to
 "a dead end road."
You've lost everything... Even your
 car's been towed.
What if all you have
 "suddenly dissappeared."
Your circumstances can
 be decribed as "wierd."
What if you got on your
knees in prayer.
Knowing there's a God
 who really does care.
What if you gave Jesus
complete control.
Giving him your life,
heart and eternal soul.
What if Jesus gently wiped
away your tears.
And his peace calmed
all anxieity and fears.
What if you realized at
this moment in time.
Jesus is worth more than
 a large gold mine.
What if he restored that you've
 lost & all that's been tekan.
With him on board... You're never forsaken!
An abundant life is that he
promised to give.
And he will enrich your life
Exhalted
I saw the Sun and the Moon take a stance in the universe.
And an unknown Star placed over them was put in charge.
The whole entire inhabitants scattered themselves at large.
And all the lands and seas became separated by a diverse.
The Sun Shined brightly in the west never to set in a curse.
The Moon gleamed fully bright to the east as the surcharge.
The door had been widely opened and many came by barge.
The stress was great because the world went into a reverse.
Fate and destiny was being dished out like a deck of cards.
Skies lit up and the Stars came back out like never before.
And the palm trees took up to the seas like standing guards.
And from this stemmed growth from that one opened door.
The Sun and Moon are exalted above and beyond you all,
And so is the Star in charge of those that flaw in its thrall.
After All These Years Still IN LOVE
Still In Love...
My son came to me with
a question on his mind.
I said; “Not now son—
I just don't have the time.”
He said, “Daddy—are you still
in love with Mommy?”
“Do you love her like you did when
I was in her tummy?”
My eyes choked with tears;
“Yes son I really do!”
“I'm in love with her...
and I appreciate you.”
“Daddy—will you always love
me like you do mom?”
“Yes my son—my love for you
will always belong.”
I looked down and much
to my surprise.
There were tears running
down my sons's eyes.
He came running to me with
his arms wide open.
“Thank you daddy” were his words spoken.
I picked him up and gave
him a great big hug.
As I let him down, on my shirt I felt a tug.
His little arm reached up to grab my hand.
I knew that what I said,
he began to understand.
I love his mom so much—my wonderful wife.
She's been such a blessing-
a great part of my life!
Christmas Song
Born to Bring
Peace on Earth,
Born to Mary,
A Virgin Birth.
Born to Bring
Love to Mankind,
Born to Joseph,
Pure of Mind.
Born to Bring
Joy to the World,
Born of the Spirit,
God’s Love Unfurled.
The Star of David,
The Wise Men Led –
The Brightest Light
To a Manger Bed.
Cattle Lowing,
While Angels Sang,
Blessed Hallelujahs
From Heaven Rang!
Born to Heal -
Born to Save -
Born to Die –
His Life He Gave.
Merry Christmas!
This year has passed by quickly,
changes everywhere.
It's all been reminding me,
of this life that we all bear.
I thank God each day
for this holiday.
Reminding me of hope,
saving me with Grace.
It's all about a child,
born one quiet day.
Recognized by kings and paupers,
that he will truly save.
He was feared by some,
and revered by others,
no matter what day it truly was,
it's a day to praise the birth of the King!
Stand tall and sing,
and praise Him more and more.
Christ is born for us,
to let us love like never before!
Merry Christmas to all,
don't let the gifts take your focus.
Sit back and contemplate,
this day that we all celebrate!
Spring holiday fever
Daffodils bunch, spring has sprung,
Sun raises higher to waken sleepy heads;
No time for hibernation now as spring fever hits, -
create time to get together; go fly a kite,
or sit and chill, make daisy chains.
Let the sunshine bring warm sunny days.
In meadows baby lambs take their first steps;
whilst mad March hare hops and plays
with baby bunnies dotting the green fields
of the countryside.
A season where everything wants to bloom,
time to trim those lawns and weed again;
and all just in time before spring rains
will once more aid those thirsty
flowers and bulbs as they grow.
For it is now that gorgeous butterflies
flutter gracefully by giving nature a helping hand;
pollinating the kingdom while watching little chicks -
crack open their Easter eggs, just in time
to join in the madness of this happy holiday season.
Midnight Lily
When we are all alone
when we don’t know where to go
we need to overcome
the feet that trample us to the ground
Some will persist to stay
others will fall for everything
if they don’t stand for anything
if you live for me
I’ll always live
and if u die for me
I’ll live everyday for you
Midnight lily; you are trampled underneath
as they watch and stare
waiting for a passion something to let you live
come and see what you have
come and see what you have is me
if you hold on now more will come
…they promise you
but if you always hold on
love can be true
leaf turns to leaf
live it when you can
We all fall into grief
 not all the same
lets be strong and rise again
show them whom you are
mortal
if you live for me
I’ll always live
and if u die for me
I’ll live everyday for you
Midnight lily; you are trampled underneath
as they watch and stare
waiting for a passion something to let you live
come and see what you have
come and see what you have is me
if you live for me
I’ll always live
and if u die for me
I’ll live everyday for you
Midnight lily; you are trampled underneath
as they watch and stare
waiting for a passion something to let you live
come and see what you have
come and see what you have is me
it seems to get harder
everyday
but happy can’t be happy
without sorrow
The promise of Spring
Summer ended too soon
Autumn leaves falls under the moon
Snowflakes chills the winter air
As spring  flourishes with care
Raindrops will slowly pour and give the seeds
A new hope after the cold and lonely season
The sun will shine as if it has never been deprived
Of rising during the cold and lonely season
The bitterness of seeing the leaves
Cut-off from its mother branches
The sorrowful  sight of trees
Uprooted from Mother Earth
Even if the flowers are already withered
For now it’s leaves are sleeping
A new branch  will soon come out
And the tree will be soon alive again
Snow will soon vanish from your way
The leaves of hope won’t fall soon
Neither shall the trees be uprooted
That’s the promise of spring God will keep forever.
Ho Ho Ho
Go to sleep
Go to sleep
My little ones
Or Santa
Just won't come
For he knows when you are awake
For He knows when you are asleep
Close your weary eyes now
And I'll go take a little peek
Tap Tap Tap
Upon the roof
It's santa coming
For I hear reindeer's hoofs
Hush Hush now
Don't say a word
Better hurry
And fall fast to sleep
Or he just may leave you a big turd
Let sugar plums
Dance in those pertty little heads
As I made sure
Santa was nice and fead
Cookies and milk
With nothing else
Oh thank you my dear Lord
For this nice little cord
For they are fast to sleep
Now I can go back to bed
And count my own lost sheep
True Expressionists
As far as my mind can perceive, that which is all I have come to believe
Stands true to my soul, and as I grow old realizing there's more to be seen.
If you share same nature in feeling, and have courage enough not conealing
Then dont be afraid, express it in ways, assessing the cards god is dealing.
Trust that god in its general name, shows creater just what it has made
Wayward cultures confused, helpless people are used in the race to place all the blame.
You are brave enough to construct, true religion yet faux claims deduct
Then you'll see there is reason for changing of season, and "coincidence" isn't just luck.
Its whats positive that which I feel, and negative hits harder than steel
I find more joy from the up, so darkness gets fluxed and spirit steers better my wheel.
How did I possibly come to conlusion? obtain vision and not just illusion?
I read people like books, so when teachers tried to look I either embraced or gave
resolution.
Purpose In Time
There is a time; there is a season-
To every purpose and for every work:
             A time to be born;
              A time to die.
              A time to weep.
              A time to cry.
               A time to tear down;
                A time to kill
                A time to fix up
                A time to rebuild.
                 A time to take a chance
                    A time to dance;
                   A time to embrace-
                  A time to make haste.
                     A time to get;
                      A time to lose.
                  A time to accept;
                   A time to refuse.
                A time to speak and lift up the voice;
                 A time for nothing more than to rejoice.
                    A time for love;
                     A time for hate.
                        A time for war;
                         A time for peace.
                       A time to stay;
                        A time to depart.
But all time is given to serve God and each other-
With true expressions of Love from the depth of the heart.
Spring at Avebury
Cold, grey stone in formation stand,
Old standing stones, they gathered round,
Around the magic close to hand,
Old hands that grasped the Pagan ground.
The joyous come to dance and sing,
They sing the tales the ancients told,
The stories told by bards of spring
That spring shall come end winter’s cold.
All seasons turn upon the wheel,
The wheel of life that never ends,
At winter’s end the warmth we feel,
All feeling the path springtime wends.
A Rose or a Thorn
Our love is neither a rose or a thorn.
One leaves us whole, the other torn.
Which one is which? There is no trick.
The first we smell; the second, pick.
When we pick love we end its growth.
Not just the picked but of us both.
Together we must each have 'ground'.
That's where love's nourishment is found
I Once Knew A Man Who Did Things His Family Didn't Understand
I once Knew a man who thought
 "things would get better."
He had children and a wife.
  But soon left her.
He met someone who "captivated his eyes."
Having an appetite for her "beauty." and lies.
His wife loved God and the
 kids with all of her heart.
"How could this happen?"
This question "ripped her apart."
As a family.  They went to church...
 and did their "Sunday best."
How could this "happy" family
 turn into such a mess?
Temptation can happen to anyone.
 Rich or poor.
Be careful wha  you allow to
 enter your heart's door.
Regardless of whether you've been
 a "Christian" for "20 years..."
One shameful act can cause
 heartache and tears.
What God has given to you...
  Let no one take way.
No matter what others think...
 Or what they might say.
Stay true to God.  You'll be
glad you did!
His love and joy will bless you
 each day that you live!
This saviour is HERE NOW!
And will never leave you alone!
Allow HIM to bring peace and
 love to your troubled home!
Eat, Drink And Be Merry The Night Belshazzar Died
The Night Belshazzar Died…
The night when Belshazzar seen
God’s writing on the wall,
He did not know that soon
Babylon would FALL.
This king who thought he was so
“awesome and great.”
Didn’t know that death soon
would be his fate.
“Eat, drink and be merry”
was the motto of the day.
But God had something
else to say!
The days of endulging themselves
in wickedness and sin,
Was soon to be destroyed
by their enemies within.
This life which for long
you have enjoyed,
Shall one day perish
and be destroyed.
Allow the “writing of God”
to reach your heart’s door.
It is for you that Jesus died for!
Don’t allow the enemy
to destroy your soul.
For Jesus loves you more
than you’ll ever know!
Even When I Lost Everything God Chose ME
It was me that my
savior chose...
He’s supplied all my needs—
my food and clothes.
He was there when I was
laid off from work.
Satan was saying,
“you’re no good—just a jerk.”
I admit; “my accomplishments—
I do not boast.”
But I do exalt the Father,
the Son and Holy Ghost.
If not for God’s love,
I’d be dead, this I know.
This is the reason why
I love him so!
He’s done so much for me—
it’s hard to express.
The privilege of being God’s son—
I am so blessed!
I was a clay jar all broken apart,
But the potter put me together
from his heart.
The glue he used was his
love for me,
That’s why I’m happy
and set free!
This I know and hope
you’ll understand,
He’ll do the same for you—
just reach out your hand!
This Road I Travel
Are you looking for joy and satisfaction
 that you “haven’t got?”
The peace and joy which you seek…
Simply can’t be bought…
Do you seek some kind of fulfillment
 in your daily activities?
Meanwhile, pushing the envelope,
” with your liberties?
There’s a road of “good intentions.”
 It’s wide and easy to find.
But there’s a narrow road… Which I have in mind…
This narrow road, to many, may seem strange indeed…
It’s only on this road, where you’ll find
 an answer to your need
This road eventually leads to a life that’s everlasting.
This brings me to a question, which I’m asking…
Are you ready to take the road that
 leads to heaven’s gate?
Will this be your choice?  Before it’s too late?
Jesus stands at your heart’s door
and he’s knocking..
The choice is yours…  Which road you’ll
 do your walking…
Please take the narrow road…
 It can be difficult to travel…
You should do this...  Before this world begins to “unravel.”
Jesus.  The prince of Peace...  Rules the earth
 and heavens above…
Won’t you enter his haven of rest,
 and abundance of love?
He is here waiting for you.  So loving,
 patient and kind…
Only in him… Will you find satisfaction and
joy every single time!
DEEP GREEN THROUGHOUT THE VALLEY
Deep green throughtout the valley
attracts the beautiful, clestial bodies of different colors,
to attest that this planet is more unique than others...
why did its Creator gave it such an incredible glory?
Is outhere life...are there intelligent beings alike us
who know of our existence and try to reach us?
They might have done so in mysterious, acient Egypt...
look at those long-cones skulls...don't they suggest that?
Deep green throughtout the valley
stands out from with the blue of seas and oceans miles away,
only at night it vanishes from sight
to be completely transformed by darkness, but not without light.
Why did God embellish this planet more than Junipter, Venus and Mars?
Was He thinking of creating life with a concept that wouldn't fall in disarray
by giving the first human couple a free will guided by rigid obedience?
So as anxious as He was, His perfect plan became law, which some still obey today.
Away In The Manger
out in the pasture sits a church
homemade by brothers hands and filled with dirt
given to Mother so it stops her hurt
decorated each Christmas for what's its worth
as Mother lays down the cotton skirt
out comes the angels the manger and baby Jesus without a shirt
next comes her towering soldiers buried into the dirt
holding their swords that really can hurt
strewn lights gazes upon the pasture's dirt
frozen in time like a star that shivers and quirks
Mama's eyes glistens like fireworks bursts
for all her effort and time even when she hurts
as mother kneels in front of her church
she praises baby Jesus for all he's worth
comes in from the cold and winters bursts
gathers the children as they all look at her work
and tells us the story of a Christmas birth
as we sip on hot chocolate and felt the hurt
of how Jesus died for our sins on this earth
as we wiped our tears with our night shirts
I was glad to run out and relight the candles burst
and give baby Jesus one more kiss and fix his grass skirt
When Everything Is Lost There's Jesus
There shall be a day which is coming near.
Much of what people have shall dissappear.
The things in life which
many have enjoyed.
Are being lost as many are
bankrupt and unemployed.
The future of many doesn't look good at all.
As the economy all around us begins to fall.
The stocks and bonds brought to
many a "false security."
Have fallen as a result of corporate
 greed and impurity.
But wait!  There's an answer to all
of this "chaos and confusion."
Your lifeline is a Holy Spirit' transfusion.
Only by the blood of Christ can
you have "peace of mind."
Someone who'll be there for you
 "in a most difficult time."
Your every need and burden can
be brought to the cross.
When everything around you
seems "hopeless  and lost."
Jesus is the answer.  Look to him...
Who is solid and true!
Through the trials of life...
He will be there for you!
He is more secure than a bank
and will never let you down!
He's a solid foundation and will
 put you on solid ground!
He's the best unsurance.. the best
401k you'll ever know.
It's only in him that you can be made
complete and whole!
His love is complete... steadfast and sure.
His divine plane for you is 100% secure!
Have You Taken The Time To Thank God
Have you taken the time to tell
God how much you love him?
He is awesome and there is no greater
power that’s “above him”
Have you taken the time to tell
God how thankful you are?
The one who formed the earth,
the heavens and the stars…
Have you taken the time to  thank him for his grace?
His beauty and glory are seen all over the place…
Have you taken the time to meditate
on his words given?
The Bible needs to be the direction
for the way you’re livin’!
Have you taken the time to think
 about all that he’s done?
You’re here today because of the sacrifice of his son!
Have you taken the time to think
 of his beautiful creation?
He rules above all kings, presidents, or any nation…
Have you thought about the planets
in the heavens above?
All that we can see is a reflection
of his power and great love!
Have you thought about the relationship
 this God wants with you?
He’s waiting to come into your life.
What will you do?
Think for just a moment of heaven’s
special invitation…
Won’t you accept the Lord and his free gift of salvation.?
Think about God’s gift of life that is
offered to you and me…
Christ can change you and give you life abundantly!
Christ Came For You
He was born this day over two thousand years ago,
A Savior for the world to know.
The angels rejoiced, and shepherds went to see
This baby born to set captives free.
In your life have you done the same,
Sought the gift that on Christmas came?
Have you allowed Jesus to save you from sin?
Have you invited this dear Savior in?
If you haven't, this is what I pray,
Accept the real gift of Christmas today.
It's available to you if you ask and believe
And Christ as your Savior you do receive.
If you know Christ as your Savior now,
Share what He's done in your life somehow,
And give thanks to Him on the day of His birth
For what His coming into your life is worth.
May you know the spirit of Christmas all year through,
And celebrate daily that Christ came for you.
The Beatitudes Matthew Chapter 5
Blessed are the poor in spirit.
Theirs is God’s kingdom.
Many blessings from God…
They shall receive them!
Blessed are they who mourn.
 They shall be comforted.
In the loving arms of Jesus,
they shall be well rested!
Blessed are the meek.
 They shall inherit the earth.
And shall receive from Jesus.
 A “brand new birth!”
Blessed are they who hunger for
 righteousness.  They shall be filled.
A desire to know more of God…
 has been instilled!
Blessed are the merciful.  God’s mercy
 they shall obtain.
As they’re an expression of Jesus’
 wonderful name!
Blessed are they with a pure heart.  They shall see God!
Though many in this world, may think they’re “odd.”
Blessed are those who are persecuted
 for God’s kingdom.
They share their testimony for Christ,
 to those who receive them!
Blessed are you when others persecute you
 and accuse you falsely.
Rejoice in the power of God!
 He loves you most assuredly!
Rejoice that heaven shall one day
 be your reward!
So YOU can rule and reign
 with Jesus our lord!
Blessed are we who serve Christ…
 The anointed one!
Blessed are God the father.
 The Holy Spirit.   And the Son!
Do You Have Wandering Eyes
Have you been captured by
the wandering of your eyes?
Things you once held as true and
wholesome-- you now despise.
Have you been “captured”
by an outward beauty?
Thereby neglecting your
God-given duty?
Has your soul been consumed with
sin's all-consuming fire?
With an uncontrollable appetitie
and an ungodly desire.
In your heart, is the Holy Spirit
an uninvited guest?
No wonder your life is in
such a huge mess!
Your head is filled with fantasies
and temptations of every kind.
You pretend on the outside. But you've
lost control of your mind.
For your failures—you have
only yourself to blame.
Now's the time to repent—
and call on Jesus' name!
Though your sins be red as scarlet--
they can be washed as white as snow.
Only Jesus can be true peace and
satisfaction to your troubled soul.
Habitation
Precious the creation of each blade of grass
with wanton destruction how long can they last
like showers carried on the cycles of wind
knowledge is traded for gold in the end
every molecule that exists is part of the whole
without his consciousness mans without soul
the threads of life display unequaled beauty
to protect and preserve is more than a duty
Guardians entrusted with care of the earth
a failure of many to see what thats worth
the voice of our actions how we are living
that is the testimony whose service we're giving
Twas Love that gave our fathers birth
that wove the filaments of our earth
who laid the circuits of our skies
with knowledge made his children wise
With careful thought designed where we would live
the precious abode that to your children give
nearly infinite the habitations given to explore
a desire within for learning so very much more
Flowers so deep in the desert blooms
small decorations in so numerous rooms
opulently have you adorned our planet
many are those who think you have not planned it
With fire and ice welded the universe
the circuits of cosmos which around us skirts
mankind has named them like their gods
false stories that each millenia frauds
each pattern contains the steps of a dance
to intricate to have arrived merely by chance
attempt we to trace the flash of beginning
seems no amount of knowledge can prevent it from ending
offered you have days of pleasure endless
infinite life and resurrection of those we miss
the very creation and its distribution of wealth
bountiful resources and with perfect health
how could I not before your promise kneel
when you have offered our beings to heal
where imperfection is turned into grace
and all of our offenses you will efface
before your people I will you extol
the first and the last who gives us control
I rest my soul in the course you have set
because my happiness you will never forget
With This Years' Passing
Be it health, finance, or be it age
We all are forced to look upon
Whatever before us now doth lay.
With a new year apporaching
It's birth just hours away
I wonder how many will find
Themselves alone or wrapped
In the arms of a loving companion
Both ready and eager to meet
Whatever is coming their way.
When the hour strikes midnight
And the New Year opens wide
If you are not with me, nor I with you
You can rest assured you will be in my thoughts
And I hope my memory will be there with you.
We all have our battles and our bridges too burn
But New Years' Eve should be special
For a new beginning is about to be born.
We won't live forever nature will see to that
We only have now the presence
And it should be filled with laughter and love.
Builded around a willing sprit
One able to share
One willing to care.
For there is really not many moments to waste
Life waits for noone as the hands of time move onward
Their life spans become shorter
Or so it does seem
As this New Years' strikes up the band
May it play a loud note
So our hearts can sing.
How Beautiful Is Our God
How beautiful is our God...
And I shall praise him greatly!
His presence has blessed me
and filled my life completely,
In Mt. Zion, he's to be praised...
in the beauty of his holiness.
He's more than worthy of praise,
 in his glory and righteousness.
The joy of the earth...
and beautiful is the situation...
To all of mankind... He's extended
mercy and salvation.
He is known in high places as a
 God of refuge and shelter.
I will shout of his praise...
 there's no reason to whisper.
He is our God, and forever
and ever, he shall reign.
He's is worthy of all praise...
that is due to his name!
He shall lead and guide me
 from birth until death.
And his praise shall continually
be on my breath.
Thanks be to God for
everything he has done!
And  thanks to him
for sending Jesus... HIS son!
He gives everlasting water
that never shall run dry.
It is no secret how much
 he loves you and I!
A Christmas Tale
A tired old man walked
down a snow covered street
His clothes were in tatters
He had rags on his feet.........
It was Chritmas time in the big city.  All the stores were brightly lit.  There were
Santas on every corner ringing their bell, hoping the busy holiday shoppers would
drop a coin or maybe a few dollars into their pot.
The old man was cold.  He hadn't eaten in days.  There was a crowd of people
waiting at the bus stop at the corner.  The old man approached one of the men
standing there.  "Please kind sir, could you please spare a few coins for a cup of
coffee?  It is very cold and I am very thirsty."  The man looked at the poor beggar
with disdain.  "Get away from me you old bum" he said giving the old man a
shove.  The old man lay on the ground for several minutes, listening to the
laughter of the people standing there.  He finally pulled himself off the cold,
snow covered ground and started walking down the street.
He passed many people running in and out of the shops.  He asked several
more people for help, but he was either ignored or like the first man, they were
very abusive.
The old man was so tired and cold and hungry.  He sat down on a crate in a dark
alley.  Suddenly, a bright light appeared.  The old man disappeared and standing
there, robed all in white, was Jesus.  "Every year I come down here to see how
things are going, and every year, all I find is hatred and greed.  "Don't my children
know that what ever they do to each other, I will do to them?'
Jesus just stood there slowly shaking his head, and disappeared.
The next time a stranger asks you for help, I hope you remember this little tale.
You never know WHO you could be turning down.  MERRY CHRISTMAS
This Fourth Of July
This 4th Of July
To my fellow Americans,
during this 4th of July.
I have a question. Here's why;
When we salute our flag
 ever so grand.
Our country's foundation
 is sinking in "quicksand."
This is because.  From God...
We're way "off course."
Driven by lust, greed
 and an "immorality force  ."
Our ungodly government
 continues to rule.
Anything of God has been
removed from the school.
We hear of  "separation of
church and state."
Anything of God...
Many people do hate!
America!  Listen to what
this message is about.
Everything of God is
slowly being taken out!
We must return to Jesus...
Our freedom indeed.
This is the right direction our
country must lead.
Godly living is worth the cost.
For without God...
 America is forever
doomed and lost!
Satan Goes As A Roaring Lion
Satan goes about as a “roaring lion.”
 “Seeking whom he may devour.”
Be careful!  He could “ensnare” you this very hour!
He knows our weaknesses.
Our “vulnerable points” within…
This is where so many of our
trials and heartaches begin!
He is sure up to the challenge.  He’s up to the task!
“How could this happen to me”
 You may wonder and ask…
He tempts you at your weakest point,
 and then tries to pull you down…
He attempts to smash your life…
Right into the ground!
He tries to create havoc, confusion, and much despair…
Trying to get you all alone…
And catching you “unaware…”
The only one who can overcome
Satan and his evil force…
Is the power of Jesus Christ.
He must daily be your source!
He alone can bring the victory!
 Satan is already defeated!
Christ can make you whole again!
With him, you’re COMPLETED!
His power, love, and wondrous grace
 is more than sufficient!
He’ll take away your every sin!
His blood is efficient!
Allow Christ to bring the victory and make you whole today!
He will stop anything that Satan may “throw your way!"
This “lion” will shut his mouth at the
mention of Jesus’ name!
With HIM on board.  Things will never be the same!
God Gives A Moment Of Opportunity
A Moment of Great Opportunity…
Living for Jesus—
What more could be said?
A moment of great opportunity
lies ahead.
An opportunity to live according
to God’s divine plan.
Even though I don’t
always understand.
A moment with Jesus
is time well spent.
May I give him my all...
100 percent!
In him, I’m complete, having
been made whole.
An opportunity now—
to reach the lost soul!
Jesus working through me
is where it begins.
Satan is defeated—
Jesus always wins!
This moment of opportunity
is mine to live.
May a servant’s heart
I continually give.
I’m thankful for the opportunity
of being born again.
A new life in Jesus is
where it all begins!
In the days ahead—
there’s a joy that waits.
An opportunity to one day—
enter heaven’s gates!
Power of Choice
Who’s this kind fellow I’m beholding @ Facebook
Wearing a very nice apparel well-fitting for a Val Day’s
Service?
Am I a genuine brother to this good-looking lady
And hence where’d we quickly get to, to unite,
Exchange some few words, and say a dedicatory prayer?
If we’d planned to get to a brothel house some inmates
There’d come fast to us,
Why not forget all your norms, all raging storms
Get set your tents with some little cents, take these condoms
And wildly explore through whoredom?
Surf with gently your web browser, launch deep, find ex-friends
Without measure, Oh the pleasure, the thrill, just enjoy the
Power!
If we’d decided to get to the mosque, lo a most happy welcome
There’d await us; we’d get some water, wash our hands, our ear-lobes,
Our legs
We’d get in there with our earnest songs and prayers,
But remaining in separate quarters there’d be our sole choice
And too difficult a solemn task.
If we’d agreed to get to church ushers there’d smile with us
We’d hear the din of Jesus’ disciples who told the violent
Blind man to live in silence, they might see us in a panorama
Our blessings would seek to grab from us like clear manna,
Distract our attention, retract our petition
While to God we express our real penitence;
And here do we stand to affirm our hearts desire
We wouldn’t relent in efforts our gifts to present,
We’d call upon Christ, and surely get out from the mire.
We wouldn’t stay here long to stain the excellent aroma,
On our gold, our frankincense, our myrrh.
As joy and gladness are partners together
May our friendship last forever; these two virtues may
We never miss: Hold my hands my dear, grant me a hug
My beloved, but I need on my cheeks first a holy kiss.
How Beautiful Is Our God
How beautiful is our God...
And I shall praise him greatly!
His presence has blessed me
and filled my life completely,
In Mt. Zion, he's to be praised...
in the beauty of his holiness.
He's more than worthy of praise,
 in his glory and righteousness.
The joy of the earth...
and beautiful is the situation...
To all of mankind... He's extended
mercy and salvation.
He is known in high places as a
 God of refuge and shelter.
I will shout of his praise...
 there's no reason to whisper.
He is our God, and forever
and ever, he shall reign.
He's is worthy of all praise...
that is due to his name!
He shall lead and guide me
 from birth until death.
And his praise shall continually
be on my breath.
Thanks be to God for
everything he has done!
And  thanks to him
for sending Jesus... HIS son!
He gives everlasting water
that never shall run dry.
It is no secret how much
 he loves you and I!
Wasted Years
Jesus...  I've been wasting my
 time on foolish things.
Not living a godly life,
 nor having the joy it brings.
How much of my time...
 With God...  Is actually spent?
I've never thought of what a
commitment to God actually meant.
I need to spend more time in
 God's word.  And in prayer.
Forgive me dear Lord.
 I didn't even care!
Even 10 minutes with you Jesus
 is more than what I've given.
Living for you...  all of the way.
Is how I should be livin'!
 My God... My life, I give
 you complete control.
By your precious blood,
 I can be made whole!
My time with you is so
 important to me!
In finding freedom in Christ.
I have been set FREE!
Seasons
I love the seasons
spring, summer, autumn winter or fall
I love the seasons for the Lord God made them all
I love the snow so fluffy and white
and the summer sun so warm and bright
I love the new flowers in spring
the pretty colors and the sweet  fragrance that they bring
I love the autumn when the leaves start to fall
I love the seasons for the Lord God made them all.
All things bright and beautiful.
Emergence
The sky beckons me open these eyes and we do
The owl and I
We turn our gaze unblinking to the sky,
The heavens above and together we see
We see as two the clouds are touched with cerise,
Sighing into deeper hues until they merge
Merge with the water drained cerulean tiredness of those many underbellies as if
As if the fresh colour can soothe the storm resting within.
The skies breathe down cool air, crisp . . . and clear
It touches everything
With something more than just life,
Carries with it the promise of tomorrow,
The foreshadowing of nature’s style awakening after the long winter’s cooling embrace.
As if she can barely contain her urge to scream
Scream out in freedom
As if she can barely contain her cries of stretching
Stretching out toes and fingers
Revelling in the these her first movements that bring
Bring forth the blooming promise
Whispered in the sky of summer’s raining sheaths of tresses caressing
Caressing this hungry earth.
With all the tired souls falling rapt by the newly forgotten tears
Tears still lingering in the lightly licking touches of grass yawning from sleep.
Yawning from sleep.
Beneath the timid warmth of our stretched out toes
When our souls are tickled
Tickled by the dew dropped eyelashes of the earth.
And . . .
And as always the moonset vanishes for this first kiss is only false
One like the first rays of dusk across the night swept sky and lands lingering
Lingering beneath the moon’s subtle glow,
That false dawn with all its memories intact of yesteryear.
Where once walked the souls of children undreamed
When we were young in the expanse of this our home
When the dirt beneath our bare feet was still untouched by time
And this
This is what I see in the sighing
Sighing of the midnight star.
Dear Lord Give Me The Strength To Reach Others For You
God...give me the strength to stand
up against this evil tide.
May I be a Christ-like example
 for God's "winning side."
Standing up for what is right
 is often hard to do.
I must do it God...if I'm going
to be a follower of YOU!
You're an awesome God who
knows each person's heart.
But, so much of our moral fabric
 has been "ripped apart."
God looks down from heaven and sees
 our wickedness and shame.
As so many have ignored his word
 and cursed his HOLY name.
Jesus--what must I do to reach
 this lost and dying nation?
As a wave of evil spreads and
destroys  your creation?
I must tell others of your grace
and redemptive power.
I must act quickly.
with each passing hour!
His judgement is coming.
Make no mistake.
It's time to receive his salvation..
.the hour's growing late!
As our nation needs a mighty
 Holy Ghost delivering.
Help me to help others to be
ready for Christ' appearing!
One day soon, Jesus Christ
 is coming again!
Even so Lord Jesus...
come quickly... Yes and Amen!
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Twinkle, twinkle little star
The Star of Bethlehem--that's what you are!
Shepherds watching their sheep in the field
Saw angels on high announcing Christ's birth
The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son
So they followed The Star to worship The Son
Not only the shepherds--but The Three Wise Men--The Magi--from lands near and far
From Asia, from Europe and from Africa said--"Let's find the long-awaited for Messiah!"
And gifts of gold, frankincense and mhyrrh did they bring
To The Christ Child, Our Saviour, The Baby King
Twinkle, twinkle, little star
I wonder where You are?!
Said Herod--the evil king--to his sorcerers
Where is The One--The Jewish people call their deliver?!
The evil magicians replied--"We don't know but we know who does--The Three Wise Men--
and the sheperds in the field!"
So just to be on the safe side--King Herod had all the male babies under two killed!
When this didn't work--Herod called on The Three Wise Men
For he wanted to commit another greivous sin!
"Tell me--my dear men--where is The Deliverer?!
Me and my sorcerers want to bring gifts to God's Son--lied king Herod--with an evil grin!"
The Three Wise Men--knowing the king's evil intent
Sent the king on a wild goose chase
Meanwhile--Joseph--being warned in a dream--took his royal family to Egypt--on the run
To protect The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son!
So you see--my children--Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star--is not just a childhood story
and children's rhyme
It is the story of The Christ Child--The Greatest Story of all time!
Ring Around The Pumpkin
For the bounty of the earth
Come Ye thankful people come
For it is Autumn
And the leaves are coming down
Run run sweet John Barley Corn
Let's play ring around the pumpkin
As the harvest moon shines
On the jingle jangle scarecrow
For I'am just a little acorn
Bounded for another harvest home
As the wind shakes the barley
Like a slow Thanksgiving waltz
For our farmers sets the table
To a wondrous haymakers hoedown
For we bid ado to a Shokan's fairwell
And now thank we to all our God
During This Year What Have I Really Accmplished
During this past year I think of
 what I wanted to  “achieve…”
And think about the things
  that I’ve received…
I think about the trials and mountains
 that have arisen…
It’s almost like looking through “a glass prism.”
The times we’ve had together…
As a family normally would.
There are things I wanted to accomplish,
that I knew I could!
But there’s one thing most important
 that is a reminder…
What’s done for God is what I call
 the “ultimate decider…”
The treasures that I lay in heaven will be
 more precious than gold.
And will be a blessing to future
generations untold.
There are blessings from God  that  I’ve gained…
  I have very little room
to really complain…
As this next year is before us
and is about to appear…
I know the coming of my Lord draws ever so near…
May I make plans to live with my beautiful Lord.
In heaven… May I seek to have my treasures stored…
Only in Christ … Will I find true
joy and contentment…
May I let go of any unforgiveness or resentment…
Thank you my Lord  for everything
 that you’ve given!
You’ve blessed us and are the
 reason I’m  livin’!
I EXIST FOR A PURPOSE
I have many qualities and talents
that make me popular and likeable for my kindness,
and unpretentious gallantry;
ask me if I'm blue-blooded like the gentry!
I exist for a purpose and I intend reveal my cause;
honesty and shrewdness will guard me against errors...
do weeds grow in a well-maintained and embellished garden?
A grubby garden attracts gloominess, mine appeals to sunshine!
I have traveled down rough and dark roads,
grabbing the attention of bad-wishers,
who handed me gooseberries, not gorse;
it was a clumsy course swarming with rocks and thorns!
I exist for a purpose that puts fear into my unseen enemies,
who grumble and judge more than the-assumed-righteous-ones,
they are obsessed with their perfection and like to impose it on me;
but do they know that I control my destiny by spinning my fortune' wheel?
My belief is not to accept anything of worthless beauty,
I love to hide myself in the grain fields,and shake their stalks...
to celebrate a harvest more bountiful than sunflowers;
and I imagine myself gorging on fresh-baked bread daily!
O golden grains, your seeds satiate many that earn their hard living,
saying grace at mealtime...as God gives them His blessing;
and those hands that cut the husks off are much detested
by the elite with a feeling of inferiority and a lack of gratitude!
I exist for a purpose to bring glory to the Heavens,
that magnificently dazzle upon me in times of desperate need;
pity is an unacceptable word whenever they attempt to make a deal;
I change no direction and try not to fall into the trap of moral weakness!
Enduring Lifes Trials
The hardships in life
you must endure.
If your faith in Christ
is to be sure.
It’s easy “to give up.”
Anyone can do it!
The challenge is to “trust Jesus
to see you through it!”
Living for Jesus
“is more than just talk.”
Adversity will challenge your
faith and walk.
Trusting Jesus will end all
complainin’ and cursin’.
And will make you more of a
Christ-like person!
You’ll have strength, courage
and a desire to win.
Knowing that Jesus will meet
your need again and again!
Your faith and love for God
will grow to be strong,
knowing that “in the arms of Jesus
you surely belong!”
All That Really Matters Is Jesus
What kind of life have you
 been spending?
Is it one of "wasteful things"
 and "pretending?"
Things seem to be going "great."
 You're so proud.
Does it seem like you're
"walking on a cloud?"
You have a family. A big house
 and good health.
Not counting all of the "friends"
 and some wealth.
Have you thought about who
 made this possible?
It was God.  You may find this
 as "improbable."
His word says that everything is
 a gift from God on high.
HE is EVERTHING!
Anything  else is just a lie!
It's not because of you that
you have all of this.
To be wealthy, happy
and very bliss.
The next time you find yourself
 heading toward the door.
Think about what the true meaning
 of life is really for!
Lay your treasures in heaven
and you'll find.
Godly contentment and a
real peace of mind.
The blessings of God...
Is what you need to acheive.
So the treasures of his love,
you'll begin to receive!
Rain and Thunder
You know what really makes me wonder
When I hear the rain and thunder
Calling me from such a distance
Just to touch me for that instance..
Is the purpose just to cleans me
Or a message that its sending
beneath the layer that's pretending
To lay claim upon my ending..
So when it comes I take my stand
And reach up with my strongest hand
So I can see beyond my sight
what sets me free from day and night..
Baptized by an ancient story
I will bathe in all his glory
And when I rest just 6 feet under
I will still hear rain and thunder..
The Gap
So many empty spaces with cracked dimensions as stardust flew by.
So I counted to ten and held my breath knowing this would just never end.
At every angle there was a gap so I tagged them all with messages to send.
I stepped through portals leading me to places orbiting way too high.
I passed through broken dreams and landed where the Sun never shined.
No Moon, no Stars, and no galaxies were straight, much less aligned.
The Earth had gone completely berserk and the seasons were sudden to change.
It was the gap warping time and even the people looked far beyond strange.
I listened to faint vibrations and watched galaxies as they all weakened.
Time was lost and gone forever, for they had all been forewarned and told.
I found a spot and planted the last starlight and watched closely as it strengthened.
It grew and grew even withering through the hot and cold.
Shooting through portals I spread my light and left it a sparkling trail.
Ray by ray a beam filled the gap and lit it up by my new starlight’s flaming tail.
a season of transformation
spring is the season of rebirth and renovation
a time for renewal and rejuvenation
a time to clean house, to bring about some change
a time for our spirits to be rearranged
it's a ritual that requires a diagnostic regime
a season to repair and fix everything
a transformation of our hearts, minds and souls
a time to reassess and readjust our goals
it's like going to the doctor for an annual check-up
to see if everything is on the up and up
as women we must be especially aware
and mindful of the changes in this flesh that we bear
God wants us to prosper in our own season
He wants us to be whole in body and sound in our reason
yet society seems to be in a state of disintegration
and women's health issues are in a precarious situation
it's time that we move forward and finally see
that preventive care is not beyond our own capability
to bring about our wholeness we must also participate
with our doctors and God make a covenant
a partnership, a collaboration to work in harmony
for God gave us these bodies in generosity
God promised that through faith we will be renewed
so connect with your doctor and the spirit in whatever you do
be willing to change, repent and atone
abide by the word that God sent down from His throne
be humble and submit to God's grace
let a healing spirit be put into place
but before you can be healed you might have to reach certain height
take responsibility for your decisions whether they're wrong or right
and turn from your rebellious and wicked ways
humbly submit to God and to Him pray
God Himself came to earth so that we could be healed
He took on the flesh of man to feel what we feel
His death was the sacrifice and redemption for our salvation
Jesus died upon the cross to give us reconciliation
we are now the vehicle that He uses to show His power and glory
His earthly creations who will continue to tell His story
as women we are the carrier to create and sustain life
the vessel that gave birth to His son Jesus Christ
as women we possess humbled spirits and personalities
and willing to walk by faith on His authority
as women we are transformed whenever we pray
and we will submit to God's will and to His ways
as women we have a need to repent for our sins and mistakes
with a desire to be healed and will do whatever it takes
spring the season of renewal and rebirth
a time to reassess our situation here on earth
a season to clean house and start over anew
a season of transformation, a long time overdue
Historical Flight's
wing's spread for morning flight
catching the wind at first dawns light
wings take me high , so high i might
see the place to end my flight
soaring above forest grandure green
scenes of mountains and glorious streams
only birds can see these things
for the eye's they were given
were made to be keen
like a bird leaving Noah's Ark
searching for land just a small part
and perhaps a little something to take
back to the Ark
 of long gone ancestors i dream
 like all birds, i dream
i dream of a bird sitting in a tree
i dream that that bird is waiting just for me
when i land she will not flee
she will have something just for me
there it is the tree
with one lone dove waiting just for me
i'll ascend , like the spirit
of my ancestor before me
that landed upon the Messiah, gently
and rest with her i will not leave
from now on to her i'll cleave
Holidayz (Angel of Sadness)
November, December,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
As my senior days become to fade
Wipe away the innocence of the games we played
I’m nearly an antique and as my life will come to pass
Only to be intrigued Sometimes I wonder with the children ask
November, December,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
Against these cold tiles I rest my head
As bad dreams and nightmares test this bed
A Funeral for those whom bled
It no longer rains, it only sleets
It keeps me slipping from these tempered feet
Like disaster is constantly pressing repeat
So to these Novembers and Decembers,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
Happy holidays
Dear misery, slap me if I follow the paved
Take these invisible gifts
Make them into relive-able myths
And one day, outside this life
I’ll divorce the devastation
Marry my dreams and finally hold my wife
But fantasies are peaceful times
So again I’ll leave you with a deceitful rhyme
a sight to  see
so beautiful to me
then the leaves wither and drop and mother earth is
covered with a crop of white snow bringing   joy
to a child,s heart
soon spring returns
children leave their winter dins
and began to run
and play and i hear a voice say that,s the way
sunny flowers in bloom
all of winter,s dark gloom gone
the seasons change, all are the same
yet different,seasons in a name
the voice tells me that,s how
Christmas Together
Christmas is upon us now.
It's a time we celebrate together.
We recall the birth of Christ our King,
Knowing He's with us forever.
Because of what He's done for us,
We have this joyous time to share.
Not only do we give the gifts.
We use this season our hearts to bare.
If we're joined in person or in thought,
We remember the love we possess.
Because of Christ and each other,
We'll never experience loneliness.
Acts of God
Neither Mother Nature nor Father Time
Has ever railed any accusation
Against God with reason or with its rhyme
For earth’s travails, there’s no gratulation
In deeds of the gods evil to the hilt
Who bring such slanders; yet, they hold the guilt
With the prince of the power of the air
Who comes to kill, deprive and raze; the theif
Of the kings and rulers everywhere,
Orchestrating casualties and grief,
Thrusting in his sickle and clutching the snath
In anger and hatred reaps earth in wrath,
For he was cut down; falling to the ground
He drew the third of the stars of Heaven
With him, and his pomp; his viols did sound
Within his chaos until day seven
When God had made good that void with form and
On the day before gave man its command.
Thus, rage of the serpent was so subtle
To steal the crown to be god of this world,
But his time’s cut short since God’s rebuttal;
So he takes out his vengence, and it’s hurled
At those who have no law and make no pledge,
At overcomers gaurded with a hedge;
The winds, earthquakes and fires pass by with force,
But God only good, is without the blame
When Father tells Mother to take this course;
Since the gods follow evil to the flame,
The earth is in sorrows to be redeemed,
And God is the One most often blasphemed.
God Is My Strength And Fortress
I love you my Lord!  You are my strength!
Your love for me reaches a
non-measurable length
You Oh lord, are my rock,
fortress and deliverer…
Your beauty shines brighter than
 the purest gold or silver!
You, Oh God… Are the horn of my
 salvation and my high tower…
You reign over the earth in your
 majesty and great power!
I will call upon the Lord who is
 so worthy of all praise…
He is my peace and comforter
 all of my days!
He shall save me from my enemies
 and bring the victory!
I have found strength from him
and a holy sanctuary…
Though the sorrows of death
 often surround me…
God’s victory over death continues
 to astound me!
At times, the crowds of ungodly
 men cause me to fear…
But I draw comfort in knowing
that God is always near!
I bless the Lord for being
 so steadfast and true!
I don’t really know where I’d be…
 without YOU!
You heard my distress
and answered my cry…
As one day I shall be with you at
 that mansion in the sky!
"CHRISTMAS SHOULD BE EVERYDAY!!!"
Christmas should be everyday
This is alot more than a Holiday
So now each time that I pray
I ask Jesus to guide me on what to say
Gifts,toys,and food are all okay.
I want everyone this holiday season
To truly know the real reason.
Is all about our Jesus that is now Risen
And it's all because of him our sins are forgiven.
From my heart Merry Christmas everyone
Keep that faith in Jesus and we won't be out done.
A Note On Christmas
As we go along in our busy life it is easy to forget the important things of life. So
as we look twords the season before us let us slow our selves and seek
reflection
of a new kind. One that is without pain and suffering. One without hunger and
sorrow. Let us see each and every one in and out of our lives in a new light, a
glow if you will, a shine like no other. Let the spirit of the day stand year round
and let us be as God wishes us to be faithful and true, generous and kind.  Let
us listen for those in need and help the lost to be found. See it as I do that you
and I are not that different. Black or white, or other as we may be we are one and
the same. So as you set at the table with your family and friends give thanks for
what you have and pray for those less forchent than you. As you open your gifts
stop and vishulise the young child that in his or her heart they are truly blest that
they have the roof over there head. Let us truly honor the worlds one true guest
this year. Let us honor our Lord and Saveyor Jesus Christ for without him their
would be no true life to live.
Are You Ready
Salvation came to the earth
In the form of a baby boy
Born that first Christmas day
That the world might experience joy.
A picture of His Father in Heaven
He showed the world as He grew,
And brought love and compassion
To all, not just a few.
To fulfill God's plan of redemption,
He gave His life on a cross,
Dying and then rising again
To make eternal life available to us.
Now He's coming back soon
To take God's children by His side.
As we celebrate His birth this Christmas,
He asks, "Are you ready to be my bride?"
Our Nation NEEDS God
I believe we’re living in…
 What many call “an x-rated society…”
The “pleasures of life” come in quite a variety!
Just about anything someone wants,
 comes with “a push of the button.”
But when it comes to anything of God…
  “He ain’t nothin.’!”
Where we will be tomorrow…
 No one seems to know.
As many seek “fulfillment” for their ”empty” soul…
What’s right or wrong…  Has been
“turned upside-down.”
While the tide of wickedness
 reaches every city and town…
While so many minds seem to be filled with
this world’s pollution…
People are looking for answers…  And a solution!
Our hope and faith certainly doesn’t
 lay in our possessions.
Nor in our dark secrets, and “secret obsessions…”
To those of you who perhaps, are waiting
 for a “government bailout…”
Let me tell you what the true meaning
 of living is all about…
Jesus is our security!  100% guaranteed life
 and health insurance!
It’s only in him, we can have a “blessed assurance!”
Only he has the power to rescue us
 from the horrible mess we’re in!
And it’s only in him…  Where true freedom begins!
He gives a true definition to what we call
“The American dream…”
He alone is our foundation.  The truth.
Our everything!
May the words; “In God we trust”
apply in everything we do!
Let these words be woven into
the great “red white and blue…”
As the good news of Jesus Christ
 is shouted loud and clear…
The “darkness” across our land will
soon disappear!
Song's reason be the Season....
Woowhew....is the whistlestop,
our journey to slow
Christmas train revelries,
nearby choir they sing.....
Harkest as Angels
dawn morning noel
sweet blissfull voices
their story to tell....
"May peace be your only,
no wish and no dream
Holy,Holy,Holy....true wholly can be,
It starts in your heart,
and forever shall it last
fix the wheel of your cart
let it happen that fast....
Time created in part...relativity
to what you have learned
Christ consciousness nativity
the birth of a child,is your child-like within
here to bring hope,faith you can win
restore and remember,
allow time to be your friend
.....unthoughtful dismembers
use time for their ends.....
Holy,Holy,Holy....true wholly can be
forever let your vision...true eye too see...."
Are You Ready For Christmas?
Are you ready for Christmas~have you lifted the tree
Are your lights through Christ shining bright~for everybody to see
				(everybody should see)
Your good deeds and your gifts of love~that you're presenting to Him
And they'll praise God above for His Son~the gift He's given to them
Are you ready for Christmas~will you surprise Him this year
With the harvest of love and faith~bidding others come near
				(bid all others come near)
To the banquet of Christ the King~don't let your candles grow dim
In the room of your heart prepared~because this day is for Him
Now are you ready for Christmas~carolling of His birth
Retelling Jesus' death to life~til He returns to this earth
				(He'll return to this earth)
With His angels and trump of God~forever we'll be with Him
So share this joy with the world like the shepherds of Bethlehem
Burning Bright (A Christmas Verse)
Spirits burning bright in the glow of fire light,
Reflected in the ruby sheen of port,
By the crystal gleam of glass, counting seconds as they pass,
Finds the day and its’ dominion growing short.
Spirits burning bright in the velvet drape of night,
Shining on the baubles in the pine,
In the stars of red and gold, flecks of time seem to unfold
As the tinsel drips in dazzling design.
Spirits burning bright, soaring higher than a kite,
Far above the smoky rooftops clad in snow,
Smiles on lips of children spread as they settle down in bed
Dreaming dreams of things that only children know.
Spirits burning bright, incandescent, silver-white,
In a world allowed a chance to mend its ways,
Will the day just come and go, wherein time once more will flow,
Leaving fading thoughts of all our yesterdays?
Spirits burning bright in a clamour to unite
All humanity to learn from what has gone,
And put the past to rest, hoarding nothing but the best,
Dreams of peace to build a better world upon.
The Greatest of Which
As we remember the birth of our Savior,
Like this season we do,
It's such a blessing to share this time
With all my loved ones such as you.
I enjoy the gatherings, parties, and gifts,
But the best thing of all this season
Is together celebrating Jesus' birth,
Which for this time is the true reason.
So know that at this Christmas time,
Holiday greetings to you I extend,
The greatest of which is my prayer
That God's gift in Jesus you comprehend.
WINTER
           As autumn bids the land farewell
           And winter's visit starts
           An air of pure enchantment
           Stirs something in our hearts
           The sleeping earth is covered in white
           As the snow falls gently down
           A sight to behold as the sun comes up
           The trees adorned in ermine gowns
           The roofs of houses wear snowy crowns
           On the hills children shriek with delight
           The odor of hickory hangs in the air
           Hinting of a fireplace warm and bright
           Yards are dotted with snowmen
           Each with a jolly bright face
           Jack Frost drapes the windowpanes
           With a shawl of silvery lace
           Footprints dot the landscape
           And in the wintry chill
           A majestic stag stands regally
           A king upon the hill
          Winter is a masterpiece
          Designed for all to see
          A living showcase arranged by God
         To be enjoyed by you and me
The Virgin Birth
Walking on the water of the life before the birth of pain.
Seeking to become the savoir of a World become insane.
Coming to this planet not inside a golden spacecraft.
Coming to this planet from a place of quietness.
Using the life of Spirit to explain the life within.
Poetical remembrances of virgin birth await us soon.
Future is often just repeated past.
Only once is Grace afforded us.
Please dont let it lapse.
This Christmas remember Christmas Future
while enjoying Christmas past,
and Inn this Christmas Present
please say Jesus of the Virgin Birth.
When people cry for saving this one will,
The City Of The Nazerene is always on a hill.
Merry Christmas
My friends and enemies, I send best wishes of cheer.
Especially my poetic friends, I send joy next year.
Rich talent of words I wish, to all those who read.
Rhythmic flow in all poetic lines, expressed indeed.
Your lines of poetry, blessed with joy so sincere.
Christmas time has joy and happiness for all.
Having peace and love, shared broad and tall,
Reaching out to others, giving with true feelings,
I send out to poetry soup family, great dealings.
Secret blessings from the spirit of this season,
True passion of faith, my heart sends in reason.
Merry Christmas, to all the poets on the earth,
Allowing their freedom of words with worth,
Sincerely, I wish superb and joyous mirth.
A MOON ADORNED WITH DREAMS
A childhood lived apart
from the usual existence,
made innocence more intense;
watching raindrops
from unclosed windows...
while welcoming a shivering skylark!
A moon adorned with dreams
gleamed over shadowy hills,
taking me to their forbidden realm;
and as my little arm stretched out
to reach it...the further it seemed
to move deeply into space,
arousing my curiousity
and making me aware of infinity,
of which I measured no distance...
to avoid controversy and doubt!
An entire adulhood being
the jack-of-all-trades, never having
enough time to stop and stare
at a moon adorned with dreams,
whose smile was as alluring as its glare...
with the intention to deceive!
A moon adorned with dreams
arouses my old emotions...
drawing me to its extraordinary charms;
somehow relieving my unspoken grief,
which is as irresolute as of  my belief!
Its face so dotted and pale
shouldn't be so plausible,
or nevertheless graceful,
but it constantly changes like me...
to find its destined place in eternity!
The Winter of Life
Life carries us through many changes, some good and some bad
But every change is a chance to grow to realms of spiritual maturity that humanly,
we could not know
Life takes us through seasons of change-
Through summers, winters and springs.
The Winter of Life can be barren and dry, but God is still yet by our side-
Taking us through the seasons of change and helping us remain strong, able to
bear the pressure that we may retain a sound mind.
The Winter of Life can be cold and still, frozen it seems by circumstances that
disguise themselves as unbearably real, making our sight unfocused on the
claim for victory.
The Winter of Life makes us wonder if we will ever overcome the stillness and
uncertainty that sometimes short circuits our faith, causing us to linger on in the
wilderness of despair.
The Winter of Life seems to have no end; just does not want to go away;
But just as sure as you were born and night turns into day, the Winter of Life will
soon be gone.
And all that is left will be a fleeting memory of what once was-
As you rise above in power to live in summers and springs throughout Eternity.
A Life Tray
A day is coming and passes away.
Memories are adding in a Life tray.
Few good or wrong and bad occasions,
Cycling in a cycle but all in seasons.
Fate is treating in a same defeating,
Unfortunate person is always waiting.
Working hard but admitting a mistake,
Wasting his time and fishing on a Lake.
One day will come I’ll be a fortunate,
I will tease my mate to reach at late.
Money will play a game to roll overcome,
When she‘ll love me I‘ll open a bear drum.
We’ll dance together to sing a song,
A day‘ll come brighter after a dark long.
Money has a life but life is nothing,
Opportunity is risk, achieving something.
Longing
Guard my heart from all the worldly pain
Bring peace to my soul
And from sin let me refrain
For I have been so broken for so long
By Your light teach me right from wrong
Help me to walk in Your way without a doubt
Bring me to my knees
And Your name I shout
The journey seems so dark I cannot find the light
To me bring goodness , love, and what is right.
Help me to believe Your word will prevail
When I was once so strong
Now I feel so frail
Bring me back to the place
Where the darkness is no more
Close my past, give me a future of hope
Let my heart soar
Take away the sadness
And bring joy back into my life
The pain is so deep.
It cuts like a knife
Where is the compansion that I'm longing for
Bring me back to the place of peace
that I was before
I know that place
I felt the warmth of Your light
Take my burdens and help me to win this fight
A WISH FOR RICHNESS
It may sound foolish or even insane
to have a wish for richness or fame,
and it's perfectly normal and human
to long for things we don't have;
but it's morally wrong to use them
against others...for one's greed and gain!
That conviction comes from inside,
uncovering the unclearness of doubt...
without being afraid of answers so dark;
faith seems worthless without a vision in the mind..
be persistent in seeking gold with an enormous risk,
and many will try a thousand times until they find it!
A small seed will grow into a rich harvest...
sun-nurtured and rain-quencher before sunset,
and all these things you desire
are obtained through prayer;
don't heed the cynic's advice:
push forward  with endless stride!
A wish for richness has different motives,
discard the unworthy ones, consider the good ones;
curiousity and effort make people successful,
'till their empty basket is completely full!
Never did I see  believers struggle for food;
it was given because they bow down to a true God!
Real food comes from the fertile earth,
those who eat it will not know early death;
millions of people die from man-made diseases:
cigarettes, drugs, alchool, and promiscuous sex;
if these are to continue, there'll be no one left!
Be considerate of others...don't do anything
you don't want to be done to yourself;
have the kindest heart overflowing with giving:
never stop at anything, if someone laughs;
your determination is the result of dedication:
let all watch and envy you for your perception!
So when our tears fall like rain and when we feel there is nothing to gain.
We know it isn`t true,for Jesus is carrying us,while he is holding you.
EMBRACE WHAT'S BEAUTIFUL...
Once certainty has crippled all doubts,
make faith come alive with joyful words
and instead of feeling so shallow...
bring to life what was dead inside;
don't reject hope that leads to sorrow...
learn from it and walk in a straight line!
Embrace what's beautiful,
wait by the crossroads:
one bloossoming with roses
and magnificent sunflowers...
the other cramped with thistles;
choose the one that's  long and durable
something that has the ability to grow,
to comfort you when you'll feel low!
Listen to the merry sounds
that flow through the Nature's song;
hear the robins, among
the weeping willows,
softly emitting musical notes...
the attentive composer memorizes!
Embrace what's beautiful
and deplore any misery;
turn from bad habits,
face the course of events
with boldness and believe in yourself!
Wandering from reality
strips you of dignity;
can you hinder what seems inevitable?
Homecoming...
We are each like snowflakes that have fallen from the sky, each one has fallen at
different times and none are just alike... they are all as unique and special in thier own
way.
As snowflake each falls to the ground some may stay for a while, some evaporate in
the wake of the morning sun.
Some snowflakes may get washed away by rain…some never even make it to the ground.
Each one of us are engulfed by what seems to be an endless journey here on earth
that will some someday, eventually will lead us all back home. No not one of us are alike,
each as different as those snowflakes that fall from the sky.
For just like the snowflakes that are here on earth for a short time? We too will have a
final day here on earth very soon.
When Angels will descend down from the heavens above and come to take us each back
home.For just like those snowflakes that fell to the  ground and return to the sky that no one
ever sees.
You too will be taken up to the Pearly White Gates by the Angels with their
beautiful white gossamer wings... they will then rap you up in a purple robe...and place
upon your head a gold crown to wear.
Then the stars in the sky above will start to dance and dazzle… for those to see
who were left behind on earth…and trumpets will sound as the Angles will
sing songs of joy and great praise! They will all rejoice with cries of rapture that you
have return home to stay!
But up there in heaven there was no gold, silver or diamond paved roads for you to walk
upon only the soft clouds from where we all come from… but there was a gentle kiss
from our Father whom sat above in the heavens on high...as he spoke into
your ear and gave you a hug... and as he said to you in a soft voice, "Welcome
my lost snowflake, welcome back home."
ASK FOR AN ABUNDANT HARVEST
Prayers are answered by choice or creed...
if faith is stronger than belief;
put that glimpse of imagination to work,
and simply believe in yourself:
it will come to pass while you're awake,
because determination leads everyone to believe!
Ask for an abundant harvest,
and be specific in your request;
and if it is earnest and motivated...
your wish will be granted!
Look out to the lulling grain and corn fields,
someone has planted their seeds...
soon to be sawed in an abundant harvest;
no one but God has the power to bless!
This truth was egoistically hidden from me,
hypocrites and deceivers told me otherswise:
to try my luck in gambling and giving money away;
what grief and disappointment I accrued from their lies!
Ask for an abundant harvest,
knowing that everything given
won't ever be forsaken;
but don't let folly make you one of the least!
Curse is equal to deserved pain,
because it has the same result,
and guilt is even greater than sin;
consider all before you answer your call!
Ask for an abundant harvest,
with hands and eyes lifted up;
He will hear you...though you speak in a whisper:
distance won't stop God from opening His door!
His Match
God wants you and me
To finally be a family
He wants us to see
That we were meant to be
That is why He brought me
Here from Monroe
To finally show
That He is the reason
For our being so attached
And that it is our season
For the egg of divine love to be hatched.
Proverbs 12:4
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,
but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones.
Ecclesiastes 9:9
Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you
under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the
sun.
Yonder Star
Rises yonder star once more, aloft Jerusalem's dreaming,
And bathes the Nazarine son in silver frost,
Dapple the dunes and wastelands, redeeming,
Framing shepards and kings and paradise once lost,
Until svelte harmonic voices from ancient graves
Ascend the turmoil of generations reborn,
And the spiritual purgatory shrinks to enclaves
Flooded with radiance upon a starlit morn.
Rises yonder star once more, a diamond on lavender skies,
And emanate peace, the tranquil pulse of rays
Impales wonder in the minds through glistered eyes,
Herald the king's rebirth, light of lights, day of days,
And from the vaults of buried temples, prayer
Defies the dust of ages, scales the tombs to tear them down,
And resurrects this prince beyond compare,
As yonder star anoints the golden crown.
What's His Name
Tell me if you know
Who He is that has established
All the ends of the earth and designed each flake of snow
That falls and blankets hills
Like His holy Child at birth.  Tell me if you know
Who has gathered up the wind
In the hollow of His hands and calmed torrents that rage and blow
As He walked on the high seas
And gave them His commands.  Tell me if you know
Who has wrapped up those waters
In the bosom of His cloak wringing it so that they will flow
And shower down from above
Like the Word He has spoken.  Tell me if you know
Who from Heaven has gone back up
And seen God face to face, who first descended below
But was resurrected by His Father
And gave the Way to the heavenly place.  Tell me if you know...
What's His Name and His Son.
Illuminations
Illuminations bright reflect
Upon the snow drift laden street,
The yellow lanterns intersect
Where human traffic circumspect
Leave hollow tracks of phantom feet.
Shop windows with lacklustre shine,
Like showcase sockets in the dark,
Bestow a grey and black design
Of product shadows ill defined,
Skulk predatory like a shark.
The leads and cables strung between
The interface of brick to brick,
Electric silver, gold and green,
Supported, hung above the scene,
They flash and strobe, pop and click.
Illuminations rain upon
The lonely brows of midnight men,
To steer their plight and guide them on
And light their ways until they’re gone
From Christmas present to past again.
Gentle caressing hand sweeping across the stars.
Ever watchful as we sleep.
A lullaby sung by night birds fills
the air and it carries to all corners.
Teacher of all things, sprinkle the
Silently turning the wheel of time.
Guided by your wrinkled hand,
As hurrying birds chisel their way
When I'm Not Writing
By now, see.
You almost know me.
A shy type little man;
With pretty wife, as my avid fan.
I’ve 1, 2, 3 syllable count, rhymed name;
Thor, Nestor, or Ernesto; it’s the same.
More than a decade, never been home;
Before, I wandered by myself, and lived alone.
Alas, I found my other missing half;
Miraculously, I learned to share a laugh.
Now I write, from summer to fall;
Four magical seasons, I love them all.
I love you...three words thou, yet, it’s for y’all;
For relentlessly reading the pieces, of my soul---
Which, I offered to the Unseen;
To protect me, from wallowing in sin.
In return, he gave me a silver quill;
So that I won’t be tempted to praise evil.
Hey, if you don’t see me often,
Worry not, I’ll send you a kiss from heaven.
For I’m in the lord’s house, worshiping…
Hope you can come…and see me sing.
Oh yes, aside from working…
That’s what I do, when I’m not writing.
Wish, we’re together not just for today;
But, till last days end; so, I pray.
Glitches
I watch from a distance as all four corners unfold.
Stars fall from the sky and Mountains fall in the Seas.
And in the flowerbeds the blooms wither away fleeing with bees.
The Sun strikes down upon the Earth revealing a story untold.
The Moon stands guard and the trees stand up straight.
Waiting and waiting for a shattered billowing breeze.
Happy is thy fate.
And down on thy knees.
The clouds sway in the midnight skies.
The whole world sees you with open eyes.
Quaking and dawning it all must be done,
One by one the glitches are weeded and gone.
Roaring abroad is the Oceans beds and now smut is the dust.
Glitch by glitch straightening them all out is an absolute must.
XMASS
Borne on the wind in the cold valley slipstream,
  Carried by rivers on ribbons of ice,
In the pines that sang to the corpse-grey sky
  From the earth that drank the blood of Christ;
Comes the spirit of Christmas present and past,
  The heart of nature, the stars and wood,
The ghost of a future, extolling rebirth,
  The vanquish of evil, the triumph of good.
Stitched in the bird song of red-breasted robins
  Suckled by fires of chestnut and coal,
Lit by the glimmer of crystal and gimcracks,
  Nursed in the fabric of each living soul;
Come the day of salvation for all that we are
  The mercy and goodness with hope reconciled,
When X times the MASS of the weight of humanity
  Equals vision reborn through the eyes of a child…?
DORMANT DAYS
Seasons
of emptiness-
barren,desert dry;..yet
these too may have God's purpose to
fulfill.
to thereandon
Softly I fall
Under the spell of Spring
My lips recall
My tasting of the morn
Each day I work
Recalling what could really be too far to reach
In time to see the dawn
My back is warm
E’er I could feel a soaking rain, and as bees swarm
Neath brighter longer days do yet I see
The way that time sneaks quietly by
How could I know life ties itself to thee
I rest my back against a young and helpful tree
Victor of wars I hardly knew I waged
I roll the dice of Lady Fate and dream of what could be
Not knowing where this road is going to end
God knows I pray to gain the sight and rise again begun
So must we all travail
Each day is new
As rises yet the life persuasive sea
So goes the time in  rhythm with the tides
Yet swiftly too
AWAKE
Awake, O' children of zion.Purpose and destiny is waiting on thee.
Awake,awake out of the slumber of your sleep and shake the dust off your feet.
Awake, my child of zion the zeal of the Lord has gotten into thee.
Awake,my little ones.We must gird up and put our hands on the spiritual guns to
build,and the guns that once killed.
Awake, Awake, O'children of zion.The kingdom conquering has begun.
Awake,Awake,can't you see that the victory is already won?
Awake,Awake.
So many degrees to everyone's destiny .
Victory is in the hand of all our destinies.
Awake, Awake, and again I say awake.
Time must run.Run, Run, because time has already begun.
Awake,Awake, the word of God had spread to all points east.
Awake,Awake,because north,south and west also has the  411 and the 222.
Awake,Awake,
this is where salvation is won.
Awake,the work was already in your destiny.
October Hope
October light,
burnt against pumpkin colored tree skin,
lit with autumn secrets which only nature knows
October sky,
blue as ocean frigid,
promising to bring the cold as winter mushroom grows
October song,
written in the minor, mourning key
sad and soulful warning to hibernate your sun-starved, liquid dreams
October ending,
letting leaves dissolve, understanding warm rebirth
is the other side of the cycle to be blossomed: faith, belief...
It is Good (Part II)
Still, there were no sea creatures, no birds, no land creatures,
And there was neither man nor woman;
Yet, God saw that it was good.				             #11
Since there were no living creatures on the earth,
God created the great whales and every living thing
With which the water teems.  He also said, "Let birds fly
Above the earth in the open sky," and God saw that it was good
Blessing them saying, "Be fruitful and multiply."
And there were evening and morning- the fifth day.		             #12
Now, on the sixth day, God made the wild animals, the livestock
And everything that creeps along the ground, each according to their kinds,
And though God was not finished, He saw that it was good.	             #13
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness
And let them rule... over all the earth."  So God created man in His own image.
In the image of God He created him; male and female he created them.           #14
From the dust of the ground He formed man and breathed into his nostrils
The breath of life, and the man became a living soul.  	                                  #15
Later, causing a deep sleep to fall upon the man, God took out one of the man's
Ribs and closed up the place with flesh.  Then with the rib, the Lord God made a
Woman and brought her to the man.                                                                           #16
 He blessed them saying,
"Be fruitful and multiply.  Replenish the earht and subdue it.  Have dominion over
the fish...  the fowl...  and every living thing that moves upon the ground."           #17
He also gave them every green plant for food, and it was so.                                #18
Then God saw all that He had made,
And behold, it was very good.				             #19
So, He rested on the seventh day because He had finished the work He had
been doing.	                                                                                                  #20
It is Good (Part I)
In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth
But He didn't make the world in just one day,
For darkness was upon the face of the deep,
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
There was no sky.  There was no dry ground			#1
There was no vegetation, no sun, no moon, no stars.
There were no land creatures.
There was neither man nor woman,
But on the first day, God said, "Let there be light."
And there was only light yet God saw that it was good.	                     #2
Separating the light from the darkness
He called the light "day" and the darkness "night",
And so there was evening and morning, the first day.		#3
Yet the earth was formless and empty
So on the second day God called an expanse between the waters
And separated the water under the expanse from the water above it.
He called the expanse "Heaven".  It was so.			#4
On the third day with His Word God gathered the water under the sky
To one place and dry ground appeared, which he called "Earth".            #5
The gathered waters He called "seas",
And God saw that it was good.				#6
He also told the land to produce seed-bearing plants
And trees bearing fruit with seed in it.  It was so,
But still there was no sun, no moon, no stars.			#7
There were no sea creatures, no birds and no land creatures.
There was neither man nor woman;
Yet, God saw that it was good.				#8
But because the day and night had no governors,
On the fourth day God commanded lights in the heaven
To separate day and night and serve as signs
To mark the seasons, days and years, and it was so.		#9
There were two great lights, the sun to rule the day
And the moon to rule the night.  He also made the stars
And set them in the expanse to give the land light.		#10
NIGHT LIGHTS
After the first frost,
Twinkled lights in the gloom
Emerge like a mirage-
Images,red then white
Speckle the winter night
And fill the cobalt sky-
And in my heart-a light
To fill the darkest place-
A perpetual morning star.
Pointing Gun
A heat wave was blowing,
The sun was roasting clouds,
The army vehicles were hiding,
The sandy dirt was flying heap,
And pouring as showers of rain.
The soldiers were going forward,
With their pointing gun,
A bottle of water and rock sack,
A loaded man was walking,
In a sweat pool under his hat.
Fear was crossing a side,
Death was honouring a pride,
A dignity for a nation,
A price for liberty,
A human paid to a human as enemy.
I'm Going Home.......
 I'm going home....
 What sweet words, fresh and fragrant.
 A long journey justified,
 in three words.
 The bridge named suffering,
 becomes a rythm of footsteps
 and counted days, to another side.
 I'm going home....
 Where welcome is never spoken
 But written on hearts and smiles.
 And like a precious gold coin,
 loved ones rush to find me.
 I'm going home....
 My soiled garments, left to the wind,
 like yesterdays papers.
 Favorite meals hang in the air.
 My stomach envies my lungs,
 there first taste.
 It waits for me,
 In a place called forever.
 Where longings are filled with
 the spring water of peace.
 And the summer rain of Gods loves,
 falls on my smiling face.
