Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

watching you
get dressed

Hard Headed Women

< she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          when they get together
                                          they join hand and hand
                                          for loves be glory
                                          in this fairy tales story

for she's a hard headed women
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          a hard headed woman
                                          lovin that soft hearted man

though shes stubborn as an mule
but can make that man still drool
                                          as he's so shy
                                          but captured her roving eye

for she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          a hard headed woman
                                          lovin that soft hearted man

                                          now don't you just think
romance can start out as a wink
even if it may be a little lie
come on little boy now give it a try

for she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          a hard headed woman
                                          lovin that soft harded man

Please Help Me, Re-lyric

Please help me, I've fallen
In Lust with You.
You're just so damn sexy,
That's why I'm hittin' on you.
You don't have to love me,
Some good sex will do.
Please help me, I've fallen
In Lust with You.

Yes, you turned me on
When I saw you walk in...
The face of an Angel,
A body just made for Sin.
Now, I may be real horny,
But one thing is true:
What would satisfy me, Girl
Would be to satisfy You.

So please help me, I've fallen
In Lust with You;
And I hope that you're fallin'
In Lust with me too;
But if not, then please fake it,
Please don't leave me "blue"...
Please help me, I've fallen
In Lust with You.

Pricked

Your love pricks me like a rose each thorn grows but no one knows Your so full of
it as it shows so carry on now go on, go. I'm fed up with the phony and i'm
through with the tears, you couldn't pay me all your money to make up for those
years. Someone help me I feel faint how could I think he was such a saint and
worst of all I let me fall into a spiral down below. A magic called love carried
by the dove of someone I use to know.

Trader Joe

< once there was a man named trader Joe
could do nothing with hair so let grow
                             under big coonskin hat
fleas tick and his pet rat
mercantile's just say Oh Hell No

once there was saloon name lucky spur
where traders brought in their hunted furs
                            in walks old trader Joe

Ridin' On, Alone

Ridin' down into the canyon
Looking for some strays
I chanced to think about
The passing of the days.

Been chasing after cattle
Seems a mighty long time
And all those days I ain't be able
To save so much as a dime.

Never thought I'd get rich
Hiring out with herds
But cowboyin' and old age
Seems really for the birds.

My backside and that old saddle
Have formed a kind of warp and woof
So the leather's highly polished
And now there's snow upon my roof.

When I was a young stud
With a bellyful of fire
Living day to day was okay
And riding out for hire.

But now the cows are contankerous
And cow ponies ain't so smart
So I've started in a-wishing
I had a gal to share my heart.

There was a gal in Lubbock
With long and yellow hair
But that was a long time ago.
She's no longer there.

I remember what it was like to love
Then left alone to ache
Lonely hours in the saddle
Every memory a heartbreak.

All those years riding the range
I've had some time to think
Of the difference 'tween Hereford hides
And skin so soft and pink.

But now time and youth are gone
Left back there in the colorful past
Old horse and I are all that's left
Alone on the range as long as we last.

The Retreat

Vibrations awaken
the still night air,
unsettling the
sanded

Footprints..

At our steps,
one last clinging
before I let go,
of the skies

That stretch, across
our hidden place,
Like ghosts of
remnants

We bathe, in
phosphate
covered sheets

Bare..

Shivers escaping
through cascades
of hair, he strokes
the frail of my skin

like butter I twist,
I'm impaled,
so I inhale
him.

Tainted love
or tired love?
Smug attitudes
and weak games
Look at you!
Your such a lame!
Me cry?! Ha! Not no more!
NOT EVER!
Five point five years
What a joke?!
All you do is lie
Keep smoking your life away!
Wake up before its too late!
Before this love turns into hate!
Your too old to act this way!
Your too comfortable
You cant stay!
In my life!
In my way!
Goodbye to you!!!

There Ain't Nothin' Better Then A Cowboy Lover

He was her part time lover
even though he was her only one
A man you could love
But she’d never let him know…
she had a full time heart
Although her strings
had some wear and tear
throughout her years.

She wasn’t going to let him put her heart in his pocket.

No, she wasn’t about
to give her heart away
She’d play it cool.
Never let him see her fears
Pretend she was tough
Never cry or show any tears

He was a man,
raised right by his mother
He’d lay a rose upon her pillow
He was a man like no other
There ain’t nothin’ better
then a cowboy lover

His name was Jesse from Montana
He had skin the color of lightly roasted coffee
from being out in the sun so much
His smile, a bit crooked
made him look a bit mischievous,
in a teasing sort of manner
It could knock your socks off
if you gazed too long

She met him at a little café’ in Big Sky
leaning against the counter
like a long, tall drink of cool water
Boots, hat and all the makins'
of a real cowboy

She had slayed the paper dragons of her past
Put them all behind her
She was bold and brave;
asked for his number
which he willingly gave
with a smile, a little bit crooked,
a bit mischievous
in a teasing sort of manner

They’d cuddle in their blanket
under the stars and the moonlite
listening to Hank Williams songs
drinking coffee around their campfire
telling stories from their pasts;
laughing, snuggling
Before she’d go to sleep at night,
he’d kiss her cheek
and hold her close in his arms

One night as she lay in his arms,
he stroked her cheek
with his tender touch,
kissed her lips and held her tight

He said, “What would you do if I asked
"Ask what”, she said?
"Little lady, do you know I love you,
would you kindly be my wife”?

When he said that to her that
wonderful nite under the stars
she realized...

She wanted him, to put her heart in his pocket

That was the night
she gave her heart away

  She wasn’t playin’ it cool
She let him see her fears
She wasn’t really all that tough
Then, she cried and showed him her tears

He was a real man,
raised right by his mother
He laid a rose upon her pillow
He really was a man like no other
Nope, there sure ain’t nothin’ better
then a cowboy lover
                                                    *~The Sweet End~*

MYSTIC COWGIRL

She came from out of nowhere
Her hair flowing in the breeze
Wearing a cowboy hat and boots
With denim skirt above her knees

Her steed that she rode upon
Was as white as white could be
How magnificent they looked
Both such a sight to see.

She rode up along side of me
Dismounted with such ease.
Long legs made her skirt rise up
My God, she was a tease.

Her blouse was made of satin
Undone three buttons down.
Her breasts were free and unrestrained
And tanned to a golden brown.

She said "Howdy handsome stranger,
I've been watching you for awhile,
Is it true you're a tarnished cowboy?"
She asked, with a playful smile.

I said "Yes, I'm a little tarnished,
But I can make your dreams come true.
Is that why you came riding by?
Did I cast a spell on you?"

"Oh yes, I do believe your magic
You can cast a mystic spell
I can see you're slightly tarnished.
How much more is there to tell?"

I put my arm around her neck
Our boots fell into a rhythmic stroll
My hand was hanging loose and close
To free buttons and her soul

She smiled as I spoke to her
Said "Do you really want to know?
How I got a little tarnished
Might not be a place to go."

She gazed into my eyes of blue
There was a little hint of doubt.
My mind started wondering
What was she really all about?

She said, "Listen blue eyed cowboy
I want you to talk to me
Show me what you want and need
I will do my best to please."

We spread a blanket on the ground
And together we did lay
Campfire was burning warm and bright
We made love, till the break of day

When I awoke my pretty cowgirl
Was nowhere to be seen
Was she just an apparition?
Was she just a mystic dream?

Her cowboy hat and denim skirt
Lay rumpled on the ground
I picked them up and held them
But she was nowhere to be found

Guess I will keep on dreaming
As I Hope for another chance
To lay 'long side my Mystic Cowgirl
And do another mystic lover's dance

Trouble

He was sun-scorched, flame-torched
stood tall, strong as a brick wall
loose-hipped, well equipped
in for the count, without a doubt
expert tracked, surprise packed
spurs jangled, wild mustang wrangled
I should have, could have
but I was lost, dust-bowl tossed; in Trouble!

In a mess, I confess
as he turned, my body burned
fanned my face, acting chaste
he was endearing, God-fearing
a lop-sided smile, immaculate styled
I could have run, fired my gun
but I only choked, when he spoke,
he was ice cool, me more the fool; he's Trouble!

He tipped his hat, steel-grey eyes of a cat
heavy lidded, my heart skidded,
he said, 'Maam?', took my hand
his cornfield hair, his unnerving stare
I might have, right have
high-tail, hit the trail
the preacher grins, there's all my kin
now side-by-side, my downhill slide; into Trouble!

All curtailed, I in veil
'Do you take?, my mistake?
white wedding gown, two hearts pound
next the ring, my clammy skin
my Pa's tears, must squelch my fears
all too late, more my fate
the thrown rice, last minute advice
my Mama's bliss, that sweet kiss; of Trouble!

Blushing bride, our buggy ride
all alone, our log cabin home
white picket fence, it all makes sense
just me and you, the mountain's view
angels singing up above, it must be love
carried past the oven door, need I say more?
a four-poster bed, enough said
'What a Man!', to our life plan; without Trouble!

You Wouldn't Know Good Lovin'

You can tell me that you love me
But…I know that it ain’t true
Because you left on Sunday
Said you were tired of feelin' blue

So now it’sTuesday afternoon
  And you’re coming around again
Well it doesn’t really matter
Cuz, I ain’t lettin’ you back in

You said that you had changed
Told me you knew you’d done me wrong
Well baby I heard that old line before
Same ole’ story same ole’ song

Cuz’ you wouldn’t know good lovin'
If it came knockin’ at your door
You wouldn’t know it now
  Darlin’- you never did before

I know you well enough by now
  That you’d say most anything
To get right back into my heart
  But baby…
When it comes to good lovin’
You don’t even know where to start

So you think that I’d believe you
With that same ole’ dance and song
Well, baby there just ain’t no way
Now go on back where you belong

Cuz, you wouldn’t know good lovin'
If it stared you in your face
Once you had me, now you’ve lost me
  Now...
Go find someone else to chase

When a woman says I love you

When a woman says she loves you, take note because what she means is she trusts you. When a woman says she loves you, it’s not because it sounds cute or surprisingly because she likes the way it sounds when it rolls off her tongue. When a woman says she loves you she’s entrusting you not only with her heart but with every insecurity she has ever phantom. When a woman says she loves you must first understand that it is not rather or not you feel the same way but more so that you understand what is happening at that very moment, because although I love is a statement when a woman and I do mean a woman says I love you, it’s a series questions. She’s asking you first of all are you man enough to love her back, Take her heart and do it no harm, and if not are you man enough to be bold enough to know that even if you may not feel the same way acknowledging it and being upfront is a lot better than dragging her along for what will be a both unpleasant and heartbreaking ride because you see when a woman says she loves you, what she is asking you is are you done being a boy and ready to make that next big step, that next big commitment. When a woman says I love you she asking you are you just going to keep sampling, or are you ready to buy? Are you done renting and ready to sign this mortgage? When a woman say she loves what she really say is……. Are you ready to make this Home?

A Cowboy Cure Will Help For Sure

I feel yucky and not well
I am in a sickness spell
That's taken over my whole day
I wish it would go away
A banging head and throbbing veins
That are popping with the pain
Eye pressure that's alternating
Back and forth, its aggravating
Relaxing I can't do no more
I end up on the bathroom floor
A throat on fire's getting old
Some thing icy should keep it cold
Breathing's getting hard to do
I am turning very blue
I need a cowboy hunky strong
To help fix whatever's wrong
A six pack and lots of muscle
Who will lasso me and rustle
This illness out very quickly
Then I will only be sickly
For his tight hugs and sweet care
Every day while he is here
Embraces he will wrap me in
Fevers rising skin to skin
Heart rate beating with each touch
From my hero who I love so much

Rodeo Anyone? (Ode to Love at Burning Man)

One look at you and it’s on...
	Sunshine’s breeze is on
white buttocks on Black Rock;
	She has cowgirl boots on...
Dirt kicking fun; Hanging out in the sun;
	Horseshoeing around.

I’ve been alone; Roamed barren lands;
Pissed in an oasis; Lost my way
in order to find my way;
Found a rare flower, rose to the occasion;
then Fled town with the rodeo;
Searched the worldwide;
Been to the end of the line;
And found my way back to you...

Rattlesnake ponytail...
	Scorpion’s clench...
Red wrapped long legs...
	Chapless ass...
Playa mama tips her hat...
	Oh Ms. Henderson –
How do you do?

This country is where it’s at...

Lone Cowboy

He is a man to himself Trust is not of his nature He is a lone cowboy Corralling his love It would be easier putting a stallion out to pasture He is a gentle man, simple is his way His cowboy hat, boots and trusty steed Is all he needs to make his day He's a man to himself, trust is not of his nature He's a lone cowboy and you can't change that I gave him some rope and let him go free To my amazement he came riding back to me Slowly now, I will accept and let him be I love the feeling he gives me, I too feel free

REQUIEM FOR A ROMANCE

You know, we could.........
we could laugh every day the way we promised we would
you know, we could,
if we chose to,
choose to never argue
when you want or need to do something and I don't hesitate......
wouldn't that be great?
You know
we could care deeply
deeply enough to blur the horrific scenes we see
just you and me
the beauty only you and me could be

you know
we could share
with all our wishes and requests laid bare
you know,
you and I could make a really noteworthy pair
we could thank our lucky stars that we ever came to meet
you know
we have the ability to make life cotton candy type sweet
when our decades long unfulfilled search for each other would thereby finally meet defeat
we could prevent reality from stifling a smile
for quite a while
we could
we could live in that castle across the street
when again we could bless the day we both came to meet
