She Cried

She cried, She died inside over and over again, She was trapped in herself
and she had no way of escaping. Taking drugs to dull the mud that's been in her
eyes
for years. She's so far away from reality that it's like she is constantly
sleeping.
She has to remind herself what's fictional and what's fact because the
hallucinations wouldn’t let her breath, they’d lie to her every chance she gets.
Turning her mom into a monster not butterflies suddenly this high becomes a
nightmare. One she had been fighting for so long, 16 and still traveling the same
rode as so many younger than her. She didn't listen to all the voices that tried to
tell her what she was missing because truly reality is the thing that makes life
worth living. To her reality was the guy who had raped her constantly when she was
young, Why choose reality when you could live in a dream world where everything had
excuses. Not only could she not recognize the girl who cried constantly in the
mirror but she'd done so many things to herself that even her eyes were a different
color.
It hurt so bad not to remember so she continued to fade until soon it seemed
better.
In an idiotical world where there were always smiles, It wasn't until she got help
that she realized the real world was never always pleasant. It was filled with hate
and lies and pain but that's something real and something she needed to face.
Something she needed to open her eyes to, life would never be cake and she couldn't
have her victory without tasting poison at least once. So when the tears dried and
the wounds healed she signed up for a special thing a thing called GED and she got
it.

I hate that i missed it

I got the most wanted invitation
It’s organized by a bad collaboration
Would be fun by every indication
Now to think of that fabrication
That would get me there with no implication
To that plan, I will give my whole dedication
          B:
Halt! What was that insinuation?
Dad even made a buttressing contribution
I will still not give up in this new occupation
It will have to pass through sound evaluation
At all costs I need to get to that destination
By every power possibly even divination
         C:
Oh! The sorrow is like constipation
Against all my careful stipulation
I only needed to heed their conversation
Now I can only sit here in retribution
Awaiting news of others inhibition
My own attendance has already reached its conclusion

Martyr for the Unorthodox word

If I had over 10,000 dreams You'd be the only thing my mind could see Judgment couldn't be real Succumbing to the fear of this cold life Find a way to break through The self-destruction of wordly delusions Don't tell me I've lived so long in a lovely illusion Break me down until we find a Nirvanic state Then bring me a savior from transgressions An atoning sacrifice Send down to me a messenger for me to submit to Bring me the truth to break through The delusion Bring me the messenger to explain it all And let me leave behind Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Without a will to fight But I have the Means to be free I'll try to go with the word I believe But so many stones to be thrown Stakes to burn, limbs to break Faces to hate, scorns to taste Will I have the will to die Despite all of the tears no one will cry Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Broke my will Safetefied my soul Martyr for the Unorthodox word Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Without a will to fight But I have the Means to be free I'll try to go with the word I believe But so many stones to be thrown Stakes to burn, limbs to break Faces to hate, scorns to taste Will I have the will to die Despite all of the tears no one will cry Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Broke my will Safetefied my soul Martyr for the Unorthodox word

Violet

In London, away in a terrace
Half-hidden with elm trees and grime,
Lived young Violet, in her parents' house,
Left alone for near all of the time,

As her mother had no patience to teach her
And her father was working all day,
Violet read to herself through her childhood
Forgetting her seclusion in play,

Any friends she made as a young woman
Would laugh at her stitches and cloth,
For they knew that Violet was quite useless
And so showed their neat needlework off,

Poor Violet kept trying her best, but
Each time everyone ran her down,
She retreated back into her mind's warmth
Far away from that cold-blooded town,

Then one night, as the raindrops were piercing
Through the rueful, restricting twilight,
Violet threw on her Sunday attire and
Did at once in the darkness delight,

So she ran through the alleys and gardens,
Dancing down the pitch-black London streets,
Her beautiful dress flew about her
As she skipped past the other deceits,

Violet's stories swam round in her memory
As she flew through the night and the stars,
And she bathed thoroughly and with relish
Until Violet was cleansed of her scars,

Now her heart was open and happy,
So she laughed and fluttered her tail,
Carelessly gliding free through the water
And onwards to the ocean did sail.

As the weary sun rose on the next day
Her friends could be seen on the pier,
Dabbing at their dry eyes with their hankies,
Voices straining trying to sound sincere,

"It has hurt us so indescribably,
That because of her poorly-sewn hems,
Violet felt she was inferior to us
And has drowned herself in the Thames."

Violet's parents had not yet noticed
The absence of their only daughter,
And they would understand even less
How she came to be dead underwater,

But Violet was now free to prosper,
To swim and to dance and to glide,
And with angels and mermaids to play with,
She would always in her dreams reside.

crash and burn

i want to say one thing
this day and age becoming a crash and burn
people getting there heart broken
its something u have to learn

people make mistake and tell some lies
some forgive, ofthere say there last good byes
some hang there selves, others cry through the night.
wishing to there selves," why did i say good bye , why can't we be alright"

thats life.
its something u have to learn , if you dont all it be is a crash and burn
and you dont want to learn it like that ,take it like this..

once you get in a relationship, end it as being friends
dont make a tear drop, just hold on the best you can
if you dont, another crash and burn will happen again
just telling you as a friend

i learn the hard way i broke it off just like that
if i think about what i did i wish i could gone back
but you can't thats life, thats a fact but i have learn now
you have to learn the way of life if you dont, it be a crash and burn every day and
night .... thats life

Antigone

I am the face of misery
My life, a dissonance of autumn and spring,
The years are written in the same
Lugubrious, nostalgic grey
How can it be the author to blame?
I cannot scream this all away…
Burn nor Bleed this all away…
To Death I am Ordained

Lacuna ever growing
With Velvet sheets of life flowing
Aeons apart of my "royalty"
Under the mask the cannot see...
Can you dispel this tragedy:
Antigone - Epiphany failing

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,
Antigone

No words of hope
No words of hate
Do I have Lenore to send to me:
The sordid child of Thebes
Caught In the longest nightmare
life - the slowest way to die

I know this is my life
But I'm not under control
under the mask the will see
Just Another Human

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,
Antigone

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,
Antigone

Can you dispel my life; this tragedy?
Can you control the storm in my mind?
I'm asking you: can you rid me
Of The Curse of Antigone?

Right and Wrong

Between right and wrong there is something called doing what YOU think is right.

Where your not sure if your about to do something terribly wrong or doing
something very right, but you do it because YOU think it’s the right thing to do….

There’s no doubt at all, no guilt, no guilty conscience or nerve’s to tell you your
doing the wrong thing.

your following your heart and not what others say.

You do it because it’s the right thing to do for yourself or for others you are doing
it for

Deirdre

Don’t you know Deirdre’s gone? Don’t you know Deirdre’s gone? I can sence her embrace that feels like Tragedy A heart to have, slipped beneath the waves The dark pulse now beckons us closer How many days will this passion bleed away? We will be the ones left to blame Beware we’ve become their prey They say you’re addicted to your pain A lifeless cold barren soul left to die in the rain A whisper too close to the edge A call from the dark Brings out a saving spark An Exodus from her Pain Her Life Spent breathing in Shame A Shadow Call breaks the Silence Am I the one to blame? Don't you know Deirdre's gone? Don't you know Deirdre never said wrong? Don't you know Deirdre's gone? “My Decadence was just for you Though you’d never care what I’ve been through Enter the world were empathy is clandestine A world created by you, just for me What’s Lying in my heart is why You want to through the stone” I call your name towards nightfall’s reign But they take you so far away A dark angel so divine Cursed by Eden’s heart I will avenge every tear An Exodus from her Pain Her Life Spent breathing in Shame A Shadow Call breaks the Silence Am I the one to blame? Don't you know Deirdre's gone? Don't you know Deirdre never said wrong? Don't you know Deirdre's gone? Don’t you know Deirdre’s gone? Don’t you know Deirdre’s gone?

Sara

Sara tiptoes across
The kitchen floor
To get some heat
She opens the oven door

Sheets in the window
Sara calls them curtains
Mind weary, Soul hurtin'
Sara

Sara lives by the train tracks
At Sixteenth and O
Her Mama calls it a shack
But to Sara it’s quite comfortable

Flour and water
Two minute gravy
Don't rattle those pots too loudly, Sara
Might startle that Baby

Sara empty, cold and lonely
Sara with too much time to think
Sara humble, beautiful and homely
Draws water from the kitchen sink

Sara thought she married the perfect guy
But soon as he heard that baby cry-
He left a two page note:
The first page said, I love you
The second page said, Goodbye
For a whole month he tried

Sara's mother told her
That he was just too young
But Sara didn't listen
He promised Sara he'd be the one
She'd always been missin'

Two pinches of cornstarch
From the box on the shelf
Sara says, Hell,
He was just a baby himself

Nine months
Sara bore the burden
Feet tired, head hurtin'
So many times she wasn't certain

Sara pours vinegar on lettuce
Just enough to call it salad
Memories of him grow stronger
Sara tries not to think about it

One child- A year later a divorce
And the White knight
Who was supposed to save the day
Must have fallen from his horse
Or maybe he lost his way

Men of means offer her money
And pose a promise or two
Sara laughs as if it’s funny
Saying, You're just like sugar
Tryna call itself honey
You're just too sweet to be true

Sara opens the refrigerator door
Takes out the potatoes
From the night before
Then Sara just thinks some more:

"We can let June keep the Baby.
Or we can put it up for adoption."
But Sara knew that wasn't an option
Sara recalled the anger in his voice:
"Babe, please don't force me to make a choice."

Sara cried as she watched him go
His pain he was too proud to show
He said, Sara, please don't cry
Then he said, Goodbye

The only love she had ever known-
Now Sara and the Baby were alone
In his Blue travel sack
Everything in the world
That he ever owned

But sweet Sara understood
The baby that he feared
Probably all in this world
That he had ever done of good

From the balcony Sara watched
As he walked down the railroad tracks
She knew that once he crossed L Street
He would never ever turn back

Sara watched him
As far as her eyes could go
Then he disappeared at Thirteenth and O
Sara just closed her window

And Sara went inside
And Sara cried

Believe

I don't believe in anything anymore
Actually lets be honest
I don't believe in a big amount of things
I don't believe in love
I don't believe in people
I don't believe in safety
But mostly
I don't believe in myself
Not anymore anyways

Most people would find that sad
But I do not
How can I believe in myself?
I'm like a bird
Who should trust in their wings
To carry them up when the branch breaks

But I cannot
Because you see
If I were a bird my wings would be clipped
And tell me
Why would a bird trust in wings
That cannot make them rise?

I am a bird in a cage
And that cage is my depression
And in my cage is a perch which is my anxiety
Then on the far side their is a mirror
I can see myself
I can see a girl

Who is broken
Who is lost
Who is tired
And who is afraid
I look in that mirror
And I see not what you see
I see the scars and the newly marked lines
I see the demons
I see the mistakes
The horrors of my past
All of which make me
Me

I see a girl who can barely look you in the eyes
And I feel the tears that slide down my cheeks
Every night as I try to find peace in sleep
I see the girl that they have all made me into
The girl that they make me believe that I am
The girl that can't get away
The girl who can't save herself

Why do I go through this hell!
Why do I constantly revisit all of these memories
This life is not meant to be lived in such a way
It is not meant to end because someone cannot handle it
It was not meant to be filled with so much pain and fear
It was not meant to be such a tragedy
And it was not supposed to have to end so soon...

But maybe it doesn't have to end
Maybe my wings will grow back
Maybe I won't always be stuck in this cage
And maybe I am worth it
Maybe I can believe in myself
Maybe one day all will be different
But today is not that day
So I will wait
I will wait for the one day that may or may not come
When my wings can carry me
And when I will once again
Believe in me.

Death of an Innocent Heart

Death of an Innocent Heart

That day I fell, today I lie six feet under.I thought you was the one when we first met you made me laugh you held me when I cried and now We have grown to far apart to even truly remember what we use to be.Then by sad chance by crushing feet by this deadly curse you left me and that day I felt my heart die.I wonder what I would do next should i had moved on would the pain hurt me more I don't think i can handle it,should i end my life here will i have pain no more. But what lie beyond death how do I not know I will leave this pain. That day i jump off the bridge into the lake that day I let myself be swept away I let myself drown in sorrow and pain. When I am reborn i wish to be free like the bird in the sky like the ocean and streams, never to face what it mean to be a human.Today I die for the lost of my love for you,It is what most call the death of innocent love.

CHILD UNBORN

On a cold and bleak November day in a lonely
Deserted place a child unborn in its sanctuary
Lies asleep like a bud soon to bloom
A sacred gift, priceless, unique
For a world that is rapidly dying

On a cold and bleak November day
A mother's scent will it ever know
No special bond with another soul
No joyful offering of 'thanks', nor smiles,
Nor welcome kisses that warm the heart

On a cold and bleak November day, the sky
Draped in blankets of gray, hung low
Over the horizon marked by fresh-fallen snow
An innocent life is taken in some unholy place
As consciences lay bound and silenced

On a cold and bleak November day,
Freewill, once more misused, hovered
In the shadows abused and clothed in shame
Bore witness to one of many horrors
The deliberate murder of the Innocents

On a cold and bleak November day a hush falls over Heaven
The Son of God pleads mercy as He alone dares to speak
God looks upon His only Son, once again, His anger subsides
A new day is ordained-another chance to choose
A priceless gift to save the world some cold bleak day

A Broken Fairytale

Once upon a time,
A boy met a girl
With his best friend in toe.
This boy and this girl
Became young love in its essence.
His best friend became what some would call
Her own personal hidden blessing.
His devotion for his friend
Couldn't quite bring him to confess,
But he cared about that girl enough,
To warn her of future distress.

After 3 long years,
Of the back and forth romance,
Their young love finally ended,
The girl was broken hearted and defenceless.
She had given her all
To someone who was only willing to take it.
The best friend tried to warn her,
But she couldn't see her lover fake it.

A year would pass,
Before the best friend would find,
His best friend's ex,
The one he longed to say was "mine".
A birthday of hers
Was his golden opportunity.
When he missed her night out,
He offered to take her to a movie.
She wrestled with the thought:
Do I open that door?
She kept pushing it off,
Until she couldn't avoid it anymore.
Neither one of them expected,
Or even could dream
Of all that would come
From one night, one movie.

A love affair of sorts,
Filled with constant ups and downs,
But despite their best efforts,
They couldn't help but stick around.
A year and 2 months
Of the greatest love that ever lived,
Was shared between these two,
Who were only just kids.
Neither one of them was ready,
They didn't know what to do,
They loved so deeply,
But this experience was so new.
A girl with a broken heart,
With no sense of true self worth,
Met a boy with a broken heart,
And the desire to move forth,
With her by his side,
Forever hand in hand,
Yet she felt she didn't deserve him,
And did what she could: she ran.

Now her love for him consumes her,
But his heart is in pieces.
Now he's too afraid of her
But his love he swears never ceases.
And she cries herself to sleep at night,
For the best friend she hurt foolishly.
And she prays for their future together,
The one he says can never be.

Anwnn

Coming from the misty lake Lough Leane
Came a beautiful maiden of the name of Niamh
Upon a mare, for she is not from the world of man
A seraphic princess from Anwnn
Upon the shores she claimed around his kin
"I have came for Oisin son of Finn"
"Maiden you come to me so alluringly
I am he, if we marry for all eternity!"

And so he rode upon her horse to the secrets of Anwnn
For he and she, they'd be happy for all eternity

Come with me to Anwnn
I am she, your queen Niamh
I have come for you Oisin, son of Finn
Don't leave me or you'll see
The age of man
The age of man
The age of man

How I found love and lost it part one

I only said it, to make you smile back
You wouldn't say it back

I like to shy away from the world
To silence the thoughts
don't have to think about the camera girl
With soft locks
Just stick my head in a book, my masking mistook
I think I killed the atmosphere
It's okay, it wasn't so great in here
Some say my vocabulary is full blown
And some say I'm a misanthrope
Oh ho, you couldn't wait to say hi
Is she looking at us? just smile and wave
I don't know what she's saying
Does she want us to come over?
You do it, now say it
Oh you disappoint me

She's a party girl if I ever saw one
And I only saw one in my brother’s black room
Air always smelled like a Hippie reunion
And I'm pretty sure they were all doing shrooms
She's a Rhythmic, non-cynic, hygienic class act
She likes to speak like a debaucherous Nazz
I don't know what I want
But I know what I need is her
Stay right here
I'll get the girl

Can't sleep as I think of a song
I can't remember the words but it went bom bom bom bom
my wind, my world
Ah, Those dreams with my girl
Ever notice in the life of your dreams
You're never self-loathing, or nervous or mean
It's so fine
Good times
All sorts of lives
With her hand in mine

Time and time again, I'm on the far side of Earth
They say it's different as you get old
But I doubt I'll stop myself from looking too dumb
Where is that so called spirit you speak of?

"Oh stop, you silly boy.
I told you I like you as a friend.
Oh is this for me? Why thank you.
We're still just friends.
Oh my now you say you love me.
We were just friends a week ago.
You're too attached.
It's okay, we all get that way sometimes.
Here, let's go for a ride."

"See all the boys think of me as a temptress
Like I use guys and make them do my bidding.
But you'll find I'm just trying to be nice.
We can't all be lovey dovey.
What's a girl to do?"

Feeling sappy on my own
I know someday I'd make you turn
Well it's the classical pneumonic state you're in
I can’t believe this wild wicked sin
It's in your genes, it's in your blood
It's 90 degrees
Let's flood flood flood
Time to do it tonight

Stagnant

Blue above and

Blue below,

Clumps of clouds,

Falling slow.

Airplanes surge but do not move.

The elephant passes in the room.

I try to sleep,

to turn away,

Turning pages

yet the story stays

Stagnant.

I look everywhere except at you.

I see nothing, except for you.
