TRUE LOVE WINS

A man could never love a woman more
And to see her hurting rocks him to the core
But through the pain she finds her smile
Oh, the beauty of her face
Like a warm, intimate embrace
Charming him is just her style
She is his life
His amazing grace

So she leans in to kiss him tonight
She's holding all their memories
Of what a life its been
True love wins!

They could never explain the feelings held inside
Of their forever love that has no goodbyes
So, even in night they find the day
In difficulty they don't despair
No matter what comes together they'll share
This is simply Jim and Betty's way
This is their life.. This is their prayer

So he leans in to kiss her tonight
He's holding all their memories
Of what a life its been
True love wins!

This crazy, messed up world
Is growing more absurd
But he still knows her every thought
Without a spoken word

One glance at him is all it takes
Like love is beginning all again
The story of their lives..
True Love Wins!

*this is a poem about my parents love for each other through all the years and obstacles of life.

The Definition Of A Real Woman

(W)- A real woman knows that the wages of sin is death so she is not concerned about the wages of a real man, because money comes and goes like day and night; but true love comes just every blue moon. A real woman isn't loud and doesn't have to be the center of attention. Money is a gold-diggers virtue, while patience is a real woman’s virtue. A real woman is always wary of the image she displays to the world because she knows her children are watching her every move. A real woman’s wisdom comes from the teachings of her elders and the experiences and hardships life brings. A real woman is the wings that help a broken man learn to fly again. When you become the object of a real woman’s affection, winning is the only option.

(O)- A real woman’s main obligation is to better herself, before she attempts to become someone’s better half. A real woman is very obliged with all that God has blessed her with. When a man takes a real woman for granted, she makes up her mind to put him away into oblivion. A real woman is use to jumping hurdles because overcoming obstacles in life keeps her on the right track. A real woman doesn't spend her time worrying if failure is around the corner, because she occupies her freedom chasing her dreams in her most comfortable running shoes. A real woman is a hopeless romantic ready to be wooed with an odyssey of love with a real man by her side.

(M)- A real woman’s presence is magnanimous and captures attention because of the poised and elegant stature of her classy nature. A real woman is like the magnet of ecstasy. All women don't attend college or hold prestigious employment, but for many being the Valedictorian of mothers everywhere is the major of their lives. A real woman respects the art of marriage and believes in monogamy. A real woman’s life is the motion picture of sophistication. The mythology of a woman began within a man’s ribs and ends in the beat of his heart.

(A)- A real woman sticks to her man like glue and never abandons his side. A real woman has the ability to do anything a man can. A real woman has the power to fill the abyss of a man’s pains with joy. A real woman prays with her other half because faith is the key of remaining on one accord. A real woman will amaze you with the way she adapts to changes in her ambiance. A real woman is the architect of her own destiny.

(N) A real woman needs a man to understand and love her for everything she is and for everything she is not because a good support system is a leading factor in longevity within relationships. A real woman is the nexus between love and happiness. When you converse with a real woman you will realize that she is nimble with her every response. No man can ignore the nymph of a real woman, because it is in her D.N.A to be notable.

'Oh My Bedroom'

It's the playground of love
Satisfaction you can trust
Nothing Feels The Way It Does
When You And Me Become Us

Your Body Yells Romance
Breathing Deep On Every Syllable
I'm Moving Like A Slow Jam
In Every Spot That I'm Kissing You

Sweat Dripping From Our Bodies
Like We Are Standing In The Rain
I Put Pressure On Your Passion
You Get Pleasure Out The Pain

It's Hot In Here It's Dark In Here
The Music Playing To Our Groove
The Thundering & Lightning Outside
Looks Like Sparks Flying In The Room

If These Walls Could Talk
They Would Say Two Things
We Moving Up & Down Like Elevators
Back & Forth Like Time Machines

It's Wonderful It's Paradise
All Day And All Night
You Don't Have To Say A Word
The Bedroom Knows What You Like....Oh My Bedroom!!

My Invisible Ink

The evening sun dawdles into the dark
Night’s darkness croons nocturne
My eyes popple as they turn into Crocus flower
Dreams flow down as I sway in nirvana.

At the sight of your godly beauty
My soul wobbled at the edge of my oblivion
Your body as charming as Jips Twink-
The special kind of Pelargonium.

Delirious with joy I was contented
The pleasure alone filled my belly
As you revealed the pearl you’re
My roots are embedded in you.

At the morning sight of your face
Smiles cascade my face in torrents
Of expressions as morning unfolds
Joy opens in my heart a la Crocus flower

At the morning whisper of your wishes
Purred with pleasure from the tone of your voice
I woke up with only but one thought-
You’re my invisible ink.

Lost and Found

To imagine after all this time that has gone by,
I would be talking to the one that once caught my eye.
Out of nowhere one day she just seemed to appear,
Just so incredibley surprising to me after all of these years.
Sharing all those thoughts and dreams we once had ,
How we laughed at those days yet it made us a bit sad.
For the feelings I did not know she had for me ,
It only makes me wonder what our lives would be.
Our hearts now beating as they did back in the days,
How we are acting like children going out to play.
The love I feel for her has never felt so strong,
A love that once was I thought was forever gone.
But to my excitement I can honestly & sincerely say ,
The love that was lost has been found and here to stay.
This thing we have found in this love between you & me ,
Joy and happiness for the rest of our lives is what I see.

My Sweet Indulgence

sail away with me my swet indulgence
where we can be alone
we'll paint our names in mid air
because with our love
we can do anything
we'll run together on mountain tops
we'll leap from the tallest hills
we'll dwell in the bottom of the sea
then emerge into space
my love..my lover...my sweet indulgence

My Husband

My Husband!
My Husband is the man of my dreams, my fantasies, and so much more. He can take my breath away with just a whisper of things to come. I can’t help but look at him and think my husband; the man of my life, forever mine.
My husband looks and acts professional as he lectures to a large group of people. They seem to linger on his every word learning as much as possible in the allotted time with him. He is smart and well-dressed but underneath a wild side that I know so well is there waiting to come out.
My husband playing while kayaking; splashing like only best friends and lovers would do. A kid at heart he shares his lunch and takes pictures to show his friends. He wants the world to know how fun it was and we plan to go again. So proud am I of my husband, best friend, and lover.
My husband has helped so many of my dreams come true. If you can dream it, then you can do it he would say. As frustration came, he my husband and fantasy would rescue me. My husband set my dreams soaring high as together we found a place the world could never touch us!
My husband is my soul mate and so much more that words can’t describe. Nothing can take him from me; for out of my dreams and into my life made special for me, my husband is everything I could ever want or need. Drawn to him somehow night and day our hearts beat as one. Together nothing is impossible as we share a love and bond that not even in death will we part. Our souls will hold one another forever!

Within the sanctuary of my loving arms

Let the warmth of my warm
Tender loving arms
Sooth your cares away
To make you feel special
Needed Loved
Let me give an ear
for the things you want to say
A safe sanctuary
In which time stands still
and you can hide away.

The warm waves of my love
Flow like a caressing tranquil sea
Let me express my deep emotion
Without word
and lose ourselves
In our world
No one else knows
Can travel too
Or be.

And as our hearts bloom
and flourish with so much joy
Like the smiling sun
Love is the greatest victory
When two hearts and minds
Are one.

Tell me the story of the sweetest love
That I see deep within your dreamy eyes
And no matter if I look at them a million times
still they always take me by surprise.

The wondrous vivid colours that I see
Awaken something beyond words
deep within inside me
That sometimes makes me cry
With joy and thanksgiving
Because the biggest surprise
That I can see
That blows my mind
Is that you love a man like me.

In the Faraway

After that day
I hear about you
exclusively
in breaking dreams

they are like breaking news
for people
meant to be heard
only by me.
In Breaking Dreams
I hear you're living
in a stone tower
by the sea,

Alone, with nothing
lonely without us
yet in your world
lost and serene.

Cold in some cases
sad in others
the dreams support me
or get me drained.

In Breaking Dreams
you're reaching for me
After that day
you died on me.

Her Face

Her Face was perfection, Still see it everywhere
The beauty in her eyes, Please forgive my stare
Though to confess my love,
Oh no, I wouldn't dare...
So I'll just keep thinking of her, But it's just not fair

Her Face won't go away, So engrained in my mind
This girl was different, Unlike any other I'll ever find
Oh how the two of us,
How our lives could've aligned...
So now, to everyone else, My heart is blind

But she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face comforts me, Holds me tight and dear
Takes me to another world, A new frontier
I'm dreaming where she loves me so much,
That part is clear...
But as I awake, Just shed another tear

Her Face and her love, I won't ever forget
Lust for her will remain, Lips will get wet
I'll be reminded of her,
At each days sunset...
And I'll remember everything, From the first day we met

But she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face is the sunshine, A universal light
With it's soul and it's passion, It was quite a sight
Oh how just to see her,
Brought me such delight...
But here I am all alone now, Another late night

Her Face will surely lift someone up, With unconditional love
So what will come of me, Can I rise above?
Without Her Face,
I'm unsure thereof...
Because see, out of my mind, to her, I'll never shove

And she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face, I see it every night, In my dreams
Where everything will all align, Oh how it seems
We're walking together...
Hands together, Along the forests blue streams

Her Face ignited feelings, Things I've never before felt
Just got to play the hand, The cruel hand I was dealt
I will always have my writing,
To continue to dwell...
On a lost love to whom one day, I would've knelt

The Tiny Box Under The Tree

I could see the snow falling outside the window
As we cuddled on Christmas right near the tree
Drinking egg nog and watching our favorite shows on tv
Anxiously I couldn't help but wonder
What my sweetheart had wrapped up for me
He must have read my thoughts
Because suddenly he gave me a surprise gift
And immediately got on his knees

To see what my expression would be
Nervously I stood in shock
But couldn't wait to unwrap the gift
That was a very tiny box
To my amazement it immediately caught my eye
Sparkling and shining from the opened box
Stood a very large diamond ring
Just as beautiful as it could be

At that very same moment he then stood up
And said, " Will you marry me?"
Without a doubt thrilled and excited
I immediately answered back with a yes
We then smiled and intimately embraced one another
Finally ending the night on Christmas was even more special
And one of my best Christmas holidays ever
Because I became newly engaged which was a gift like no other

The lovely Libran

The lovely Libran

Indecision dogs her trail
She’ll always change her mind
Her sense of wonder is so vast
She’s tender and she’s kind
Creative in the way she lives
Her whole life is an art
She can be lazy sometimes too
But she has a lovely heart.

She loves to dress herself in style
Immaculate is she
She’ll always be the peacemaker
For she can’t bear to be
In any kind of situation
Where ugliness is seen
She hates hassles very much
And hates those who are mean.

One to one relationships
She needs them in her life
She needs to have a partner
Or to be somebodies wife
She likes to be surrounded by
Pure beauty everywhere
She weighs her scales so carefully
And always she is fair.

LOCK IN A GAZE

From a far, I was dazzled by your smile..
From a far, I was amused by that sweet laugh..
From a far, I was attracted to come over near..
From a far, You became the apple of eye..

Walking past a crowd of persons..
Eyes locked as I traverse to the path..
Beholding the gaze, unliking to break..
Excitement builds up, heartbeat thudding aloud...

Finally, We are face to face, unoicing the crowd..
Holding a quiet moment, staring underneath a smile..
I extend an arm, mindlessly falling to you..
Clamouring for your hand, squeezing polite...

Haywire, it might have been..
I do not care tor I haven't sin..
All attention focused fat not thin..
Mesmerized enjoying the romantic scene..

Cherish

Cherish

Two hearts one soul
A love meant to be

Cherish the love
God has chosen
For thee

In all things be true
To the one
Who loves you

Forget not
Life is about compromise
This is a word to the wise

For each day is fleeting
Moments you never get back

But if you cherish each moment
There is nothing you will lack

Nottingham Goose Fair Girl

I journey from Sheffield town
to old Nottingham's olde goose fair
where the lights shone brightly
and there was music and laughter in the air.

My eyed were drawn to a pretty girl
with a twinkling eyes and long flaxen hair
among the crowd standing there.

oh pretty Nottingham girl
as sweet as the blossom in spring
and as joyful as the nightingale that sings
As soon as I saw thee my hear ascended above
intoxicated by they beauty and charm
I fell in love.

We danced and flirted by the the minstral's music their
I stared into her twinkling eyes and stroked lovingly
her long flaxen hair.

We laughed and sang upon the fair rides
I could see the love shine from her twinkling eyes
I was so captivated by her son like smile
I wanted the moment to last forever instead if a while.

My soul had surrendered my heart was a flame
I fell deeply in love but didn't even know her name
I turned around for a moment
and she was no where to be seen
I screamed out and then awoke from a dream.

I turned around and was so happy to see
the pretty young girl with twinkling eyes and flaxen hair now my wife
sleeping next to me.

Nottingham's goose fair is still held every year. I hate fairs, but like girls.

I'm Only Saying

I'm not asking you to make me your world
I only want to be part of it......
I don't need the biggest or brightest star named after me
But,I'd love to be the twinkle in your eye.
I don't want to rule a nation
Just hoping to be your Queen.
I'm not asking to be put first in your life
I'm asking not to be put last.
We don't have to have our own special song
But maybe one day you and I can live in harmony
You don't have to think of me 24hrs a day
But,I pray that I'm thought of a little each day.
You don't have to agree with everything I say
But, please respect me enough to listen.......

Next To You

Saying all these things really make things right.
Acting just the same, on a different night.
Moving close to you, makes me feel so right.
A kiss on the cheek, really turns me on.
A touch on the lips, kind of sounds like fun..

Next to you..That's where I want to be, is..
Next to you.
I hope you're feeling fine, when I'm..
Next to you..
I'll be feeling just the same, when I'm..
Next to you.
Next to you.
Next to you...

Sounding off the gun, when we start the race..
Staring in your eyes, when I see your face.
Looking to the west, when the sun goes down.
Moving next to you, never makes me frown.
When we're holding hands, it really makes my day.
A kiss on the lips, only makes me stay..
Next to you..
That's where I want to be is..
Next to you..
I hope you're feeling fine, when I'm..
Next to you..
I'll be feeling just the same, when I'm...
Next to you.
Next to you.
Next to you..

Along By The Shore

Together on the beach, laying with you
Holding your hand, gazing up at skies of blue
Though our time together is ending, oh how it flew
We both know girl, how our love was true

Young hearts together, without a care
The love in her eyes
The sand in her hair
Beauty like I've never seen before
We're loving each other, Along By The Shore

How will things be when we're apart
It's time to depart, tell you it's a new start
Lets lay here forever with you in my arms
I'm falling so hard, falling hard for your charms

Young hearts together, without a care
The love in her eyes
The sand in her hair
Beauty like I've never seen before
We're loving each other, Along By The Shore

Now I wonder if she can hear me
Hear my calls to her, my cries
Oh how I fell in love
With her blonde hair and brown eyes
And I remember those nights Along By The Shore

'Hark--for thee my love's unerring'

Hark!--for thee my love's unerring
     (and taut as stretched wire!).
In my chest, my love's constancy
     burneth for thee like fire:--

All seasons long, my thoughts o'er thee
     do emancipate me,--
they form--wing-like!--to my barred mind,
     which ye give liberty.

Like the vast, fathomless oceans,
my love for thee runs deep:--
in their depths swim the secret longings
for thee that I most keep.

Like Helen of Troy, thy fair face
(as well!) can launch a fleet
(of a thousand ships), all brimmed with
Greeks who'd war at thy feet.

E'en Shakespeare's rich, lyrical verse
     cannot grant thee justice:--
his oft-sung poesy pales near
     thee, mine earthbound goddess!

Were ye deity in fair flesh
     ye'd be Aphrodite
of Greek myth and legend--of beauty
and of love e'er so mighty,--

Or Athena, goddess of wisdom,
     justice, the arts, and war
(as scholar of law, thy counsel
     and sphere unshut justice's door).

On tempestuous seas of love
     thou bodeth good omens,--
a guarantee of good fortunes:
     the hope of all captains!

Thou incandescing my dark life
     moves me raptly along;--
the light of thy tender love-glow
     compelleth me to song.

I wish to pen at last, my pet,
     love loveth for us alone;
howsoe'er it loveth (heaven knows),--
     'tis mystery unknown!

The Lonely Horseman

The lonely horseman of old rides down that long,
lonely road.
Kings and Queens lodge and entertain him for the night.
In the morning it is always the same,
the nobility watch him as he rides out through the palace's gates.
This handsome man rides to find his beautiful lady whom he has never
really seen, but this lady is forever haunting his dreams.
For now no false loves will he receive.
Until his search has come to an end, he continues to ride down that long, lonely road.

Wholl Teach My Rigid Beloved Benevolence

 She lives there,
across the stream
By the jungle-side.
She’s bathing in the broad shallow stream
Every day with cockcrow,
in the village outskirts.
Her tall chubby body is wrapped up
And she pulls off her tight tunic
With toil.
Unknots her long curly hair
And sets her busty bosom free
And uncoil.
She’s is in high hurry since she’s very chaste
And seems scared in the desolate place.
Sitting in water washes first face
Then oh! Rubs her bust and her base.
Puts on her outfits— seeing sideways
Sitting on toes by the sandy shore.
And rushes home, water
Dripping her disheveled hair,
And dampened attire
Sticking her fat.
She’s motherless, married to a helpless man,
A saintly farmer’s lone daughter, newly divorced.

Oh! Who’ll teach my rigid beloved benevolence!
 For, I would wed h’r too—if endorsed!

Waking up in Prodromi

Pulling back the sleepy Shawl
Sliding open the glass doors
New Light hits my tired face
And floods across the tiled floor

The room grows with clarity
Gloomy corners lighten
Radiance washes the white walls
My eyes slowly widen

Stretching and yawning
A cold kiss of balcony on bare feet
I step into the fresh glow of morning
Above the scent of trees and sparrow tweet

Waking up over mountains and sea
I stare out to the colours of Cyprus
Towards Aphrodite's baths
And the rich hues of the Akamas

Across this exotic landscape
The sunbeams illuminate all
A cool morning air glides over my skin
And pours into my pores

Yet 3 more Excerpts from The Lost Book of Tuberlantis

Retrieved Passage 6:
From The Book of Days - The Cellar

Don't send me down to the cellar
I swear I won't do it again
lest my sanity goes inter-stellar
and I beat myself senseless in vain

Don't send me down to the cellar
there are things there that scuttle and crawl
there are gnomes there that sing a capella
and an evil old troll in a shawl

There are heebies and jeebies aplenty
who leave trails of slime on the stairs
and their brains are undoubtedly empty
and their long arms have unsightly hairs

So leave me my cape and umbrella
and my half-eaten poems of woe
don't send me down to the cellar
nurse, not again, let me go!

Retrieved Passage 7:
Overboard

"Potato Overboard!"
Came the loud mid-shipman's cry
the Potato King had fallen in
we hung him out to dry
dangling from the mainsail mast
festooned with swaying weeds
it cured his hangover quite fast
it usually succeeds

"Oh Your Majesty"
said his fair queen, in dismay
the gulls had eaten both his socks
and took his wig away
he was a spud of rangy height
wall-eyed, with lantern jaw
but now he was a sorry sight
as many times before.

"Potato Overboard"
was a common cry, those days
We never cured His Majesty
of rabid dipso ways
he would fall into bouillabaise
cow troughs, and out of ships
and always buy up hard liquor
on foreign shopping trips.

Retrieved Passage 8:
The Hour of Cool is Nigh

I came to chill
I came to mellow down
I came to groove about in a yellow gown
hey man, I want to shimmy like a yak
this is the hour I have my cool attack

I came to chill
I came to croon for lurrve
I came to give coolness a helping shove
hey maestro, hit the bass and timpany
this is the funk hour, in the Name of Me

Dressed to thrill
I came to chill this town
to say "one has to get up to get down"
I came to watch the bumble bees go by
hey give it up, the Hour of Cool is nigh.
