Faith Is A Powerful Thing-

Faith is a powerful thing,
asking for absolute trust.
It allows you to believe
that you are not all alone,
here in the shadow of death.

In times of persecution,
some souls have little else.

And yet it’s unshakeable.

Praying perpetuates hope,
opening your heart to God.
When you first feel Him enter,
everything in life changes.
Routine tasks take new meaning,
filling existence with purpose.
Until then you felt empty,
languishing in misery.

The love between you and God,
has only strengthened your faith.
It’s His love that sustains you,
not the words of those that say
God is nothing more than myth.

Petite Poetess

Petite she may be, but her words say otherwise Extremely intelligent, simply read through her writes Themes of mix, appropriates my eyes Inner thoughts of her peripheral, leaves me to sigh Testament to her faith Everlasting, it's in her eyes Poetry plays a part, massively in her life Outwardly there's that smile, wonderfully rife Emitting, oozing warmth, infectious she be Thermal is her heart, fusing you and me Exceptional she, and she will become She being the Petite Poetess Simply, she's the one .

Live life as if a miracle

Inspired by the movie “Miracles from Heaven (2016)”

Live life as if a miracle
Open your eyes you’ll see
Undeniably biblical
It’s truly gluten-free
Some might be skeptical

Views might be apolitical
Everyone has their own say
No one stops to enjoy the day.
Take a look at the biological
Even Einstein could not disagree
Right before you all this time, give praise and thanks to Thee.

ACROSTIC : MY PAKISTAN

My land is culturally richest,
Yes not as bloody as canvased!

Purely we follow the same lord,
At same time we offer, so faith is restored!

Knotted in holy month to fast, all together,
In my home, religious values still haven’t blur!

So we speak different languages but,
The followers of same prophet!

And we have the different skin color,
Nationally but we are alike, greener!

In my home, hospitality for which people dote,
Nobly I say religion we culturally denote!

And the love imparted in closely knitted families
So rich, but live only under father’s monopolies!

I make hackneyed proclamation of beauty of my home,
Anchoring the same ship, we stand under the same dome!

Long Arms Of Tender Compassion

Long arms of tender compassion
Oneness of embittered Humanity
Visceral faith was your salvation
Encompassing all vain materialism
Lenitive of the corporal punishment
Illuminating a hope encrypted in a
Necropolis of suppressed ideas
Extruding life from deep darkness
Seeping rain from saturated soil
Sedative of every entombed soul

It's Just One Word

Am I the only one who's feeling there is something very wrong with all of this ,
I can't seem to get anybody to listen not even when I raise my fist.
How can they not see what I see ,has everybody lost thier mind I say,
Why can't they see what it is that is making them act this way.
Have you taken a look around to see there's something that has changed,
When you look into peoples eyes Lord how you can see the rage.
No compassion for thier fellow man as if they have never ever cared,
For the future of mankind and how we all should be aware.
Saw a friend of mine the other day he was acting a little strange ,
I can't help but wonder just when , how , and who's the blame.
This power and greed is consuming us all we just can't seem to stop
Stepping on our brothers & sisters as we race to the top.
Where's the love ,the kindness ,the hope and faith we use to live by,
How we allowed ourselves to sink so low I' will never know why.
Still I will contunue to spread the word which has always been,
Be good and love one another as you are learning not to sin.
Please don't be another wreck that has been pushed to the side ,
If you' listen to the one and only word you will know why.
We will all band together so we can stand tall and free,
It is one simple word and that is love how could you nor see.

MEDITATION

Majestic leaves, trees, and flowers surrounding
Each deep breath feels empowering
Daoism adheres to “all is one” and “one is all”
Instantly… all chalkboard writing vanishes, nothing else befalls
The road to the energy center unveils
Air flows through the lungs, everything else pales
Time itself seems to slow to a halt
Instinct dominates the other senses in a sudden assault
Opening a gateway to a serene dimension
Nourishing the soul, meditation stretches the tension

John- four- letter words contest

Just as he is, one of the saints
On high with the lord on whom he waits
He was known as the disciple that Jesus loved
No one denies him the prophetic vision he once had

Shameful Feelings Repented

Shadows cast on yesterdays
Haunt her still, as she recalls
A time of impurity.
Masking her loneliness, she
Excelled at performing sex,
Fulfilling an inner need.
Uncertain of whom to trust,
Lust controlled her libido.

For when she sold her body,
Every pleasure was indulged.
Entertaining nightly, meant
Leaving little time for faith.
Inside her heart, love withered,
Numbed by a lifetime of sin.
Gradually she sought God,
Sensing His love stir within.

Repentant, she shunned sin, to
Embrace the life of a nun.
Purged of sexual thoughts, she
Eagerly denounced her past,
Never more to return to
The wonton ways of her youth.
Emptied of all, but her pain,
Dejected, she kneels to pray.

His Likeness

C onsider how unique God made MAN
A dding vision and emotion, there IS
S o much man has invented and MADE,
T hose raw ingredients mixed IN.
N ever picture a big eye in the sky, GOD'S
E specially not a bloated brain, Love is his IMAGE
T ake care to nourish, preserve, AND
S ustain your body. It is his LIKENESS.

Theocracy

The head, a divine messenger for human leadership
Holy scriptures with direct instructions stay as the constitution
Eradication of mixed opinions to keep the sheep completely homogeneous
Official orientation of any kind is void of different beliefs
Creed established and adhered to irrespective of the human right stand
Religion, the command, staff, seal and national identity
Administration under the lordship of some proclaimed unseen forces
Creating a political system tantamount to totalitarianism
Yielding to semi-molded exposure or even close mindedness of its citizens.

Thirteen

THIRTEEN

They say the number 13 is unlucky any day,
However you may see it, misfortune’s on the way.
I beg to differ with them, for that is not my tale;
Real blessing it has for me, it oft seems to prevail.
The many times God’s blessed me in extraordinary ways
Each time it has a 13 somewhere within that day.
Enjoy the number 13? You may not like to do,
No? I’ll take number 13 if it is not for you!

Acrostic of THIRTEEN--dedicated to our church music coordinator Stacy Withers.

A Beautiful Acrostic

A Beautiful Acrostic
By Franklin Price
12/28/2015

Beautiful Jesus gave his life for me
Epiphany upon the cross
Always here for me to be
Unseen but faith makes him the boss
Today I hold a firm belief
In him I find complete relief
For he is here with love and care
Until the end at heaven's stair
Lending a hand to get me there

MASTERPIECE

M agnificent is your name
A pple of his eye
S hepherd of all if you want him
T rinity (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
E verlasting love
R edeemed by the blood
P erfect submission
I mmanuel (God with us)
E ternity is destined for Christians
C omforter in times of trouble
E xtravagantly blessed

Each one of us were designed to be a masterpiece
That is if you remember that it's not about you
And will give thanks to who it's about which is God.

Now it doesn't matter what you've done or will do
Because if you want to truly be a masterpiece in God's eyes
All you have to do is admit the wrong you've done and ask for forgiveness.
