Your Both One Kind of Dog
As I observe you
both as you slumber
in the grass on
this warm June afternoon.
One of you has moved
to shade, while other
bathes in sunrays,
oh so warm you must be.
Sunshine feels so good
to these old bones,
know you both feel the same
as you rest there.
Your both one kind of dog
love you both, as rain
drops now falling, but
will stay here ok.
