You Left Me
A beggar asks for a cent on his knees,
A little child fell over on the pavement,
It doesn’t matter – I only feel the breeze,
You’ve just left me – I feel its movement.
This day began in such a normal way,
The sun was in the same point in the sky,
Everything was well known this day,
And only the evening said to me: “Bye!”
It’s all over, but I still see you everywhere.
But your words and glances can’t leave me alone.
I fear to lay my tearful eyes on the pillow
Not to see you in my dreams again... I fear...
