it is not the original 5/7/5 pattern ofa haiku but this is my absolute first haiku ever you will see the progress i made through my other ones blessed with a gift writing blind ... like a walk in the mist ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ a true writer takes along his blackbook so he can write at any place , any time and and any day

Amazing for your first haiku. Doesn't have to be 5-7-5 for an English haiku. I feel blessed to be able to write so I can really relate to you first line. Congratulations on having your poem featured. Wishing you ongoing success with your writing. Karen
