Wretched Creatures That Live To Deceive

Wretched Creatures That Live To Deceive Tis no wonder that some choose to just go the bad ones certainly put on a real show. They depend on those that just do not know playing as if clean as wind driven snow! No honor, lies and darkness in their game doing just as they damn well will. Nothing they do brings them any damn shame getting by with dishonor, what a thrill. Look about and see how sad some humans are wretched creatures that live to deceive. Their black souls just one large wicked scar playing for any gain they can receive. Sad that, such sad ,evil creatures win out. They do because good people do not shout! Robert J. Lindley, 09-26-2015 NOTE: I am quite sick of seeing rascals and liars win out especially as they do so by mistreating others! Clever in their dark deceit, ego's leading them by the nose. Game players that truly win nothing with their lies and clever plays.

Correct Robert... it's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil, unfortunately the squeak from some is an imitation - frustrating it is - Lindsay

I've seen recent placements where the sponsors make rules then don't stick by them - makes it so unfair for those who do stick by the rules but hey ho its just poetry soup contests not the Nobel Prize for literature. With some sponsors I can predict exactly where I will place so I am under no illusion,, that being said there are sponsors who show no bias at all - its not an easy job and you can't please everyone:-( hugs Jan xx

I agree with you Jan. I DO NOT ASK TO PLEASE EVERYBODY--I ASK FOR FAIRNESS AND EVERY POEM ENTERED TO BE SUBJECTED TO THE REQUIREMENTS GIVEN FOR THE CONTEST.. Not these exceptions that many sponsors make and thus mistreat the other poets that entered and adhered strictly to the contest rules!

Dear Robert I understand what you are saying here, have noticed I don't enter many contests it's for reasons very noticeable, I entered the silent one contest for my father in law, whom recently passed away, for his memory sake to be remembered, but other than that I have not entered a contest in a long time, I write to express not so much impress, and for the love of writing, cheri

Myself, Peter Duggan and others keep bringing up that the contests here(not all), but too many are being sponsored by incompetent or game playing people. Which make it all a joke. I see now, why many poets recently up and left the site. I speak put --the truth..

I hope he does try to explain it. I am not wet behind the ears my friend. I've been around the block a few times! Some sponsors think its my contest so anything goes that they make up. Yet we agree to write based upon theme and requirements they set! Then they place poems where the author did not meet a primary specifications. Thats an dishonorable act in my book.

That is sad, Robert. Now that it's been brought in the open, John will have the opportunity to say what's inside his mind.

good one, Robert. there is too much of this crap in the whole world. One day the meek shall inherit the earth! Very well expressed thoughts in your latest sonnet!

See my reply made to Kim , Andrea. Check the link given.. Sponsor broke his own requirement. To me that can only be stupidity, careless abuse or arrogance. I favor none of those and will never enter anything he has anything to do with as I view him as dishonorable. As can be seen , I do speak out. No denying what he did!

Ah, but some of us do speak out, my friend. Sometimes we are heard, sometimes not. This is quite a stinging write, which may well speak of any issue under the sun. 7. Kim

http://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/a_paper_boat_114762 Some sponsor are either cleverly devious or not bright enough to even follow even **their own contest requirements** Or else deliberately ignored that requirement and gave place to a poem 4 years old when clearly required was new poem written for contest. Myself , I call that dishonorable and will never enter another contest by that sponsor.Poets put their heart ans soul into poems only to see such shabby treatment by certain judges!
