Wrapped By New Love

When my eyes meet your gaze The first time in a surprised time, Bumping each other in a cafe The earth somehow knows your flesh, Embracing our marrow’s warmth More encompassing than life fate. You are received by my body, As much as sky’s fire; perhaps more When we breath the same winds. This may be a new alliance, Yet raw this earth that wraps us Incorporeal like starlight itself, And nameless as shadows in moonlight. Contest on In The Mood for Love, For Shadow Hamilton 11 Nov 2015
