WOULD YOU RUN FROM ME? You circle me like a hawk a mouse Not realising you're the prey You're so obvious yet elusive You radiate uncertainty and fear And longing My soft curls, my tiny me Your endearing bravado Such transparent play around The open self that I am If I would take your hand Would you withdraw it? If my thumb would fondle your pouting lips Would you run from me? If my arm would encircle your wonderful waist Would you jump and run? Back to that closet I found you in? *** January 3, 2017

Indeed, not being able to be yourself is a dreary existence, painfully so, be it sexuality, gender, or a relationship-intimate or otherwise; the relationship with yourself suffers.

Hehe :) It IS a frustrating reality though, all those lovely closeted gay men who are so ashamed that they rather deny....

each one of us has three faces, the one we show the world, the one we show our friends, the one we wear when alone with our thoughts in quiet solitude questioning God
