World Mother
World Mother
Mother Earth is crying for she feels so helpless,
she has fed, nurtured, evolved and embraced all of us,
she is part of our Divinity, and yet she is desecrated everyday!
We throw trash, pipeline her gas, dig up her stones to wear on our fingers,
we are mean to her...definitely not clean for her...
We clip her trees then pollute the oxygen the others set free,
she can't breathe...all she sees is the awaiting catastrophe...
We spare nothing land or sea,
gotta feed the machine, gotta live the dream!
All the while Mother Earths dying...are we really trying???
Why don't we ask her what she thinks...Oh she's to sick to speak...
Please forgive me Dear Mother...I hope we can change...
