Words

Words our children going out into the world Seeking recognition seeking to be loved Each one with its own individuality Romantic, funny, emotional, dark, sage or sad Reaching out to touch all they meet Coquettish, shy, witty or with deep hidden dark Racing hither and thither all over the place Some will settle down in a quiet hearth and home Others will be ignored and casually set aside A few betrayed and scoffed and ridiculed But at least they have the courage to go In search of a kindred soul and reach out in hope Dancing, dancing to the tune of life Alive, Oh so much alive in a world of their own creation.

Such is life Ned Kelly said, before they hung him, cut off his head, an ornament so fine, a hero of old times ... we search 4 the bones of Ned...

it's funny when ever i see the word "words" i become instantly inspired. and that whirl wind inside my head starts to spin and words begging to be used fall into formation waiting to be used. ideals at the speed of light so fast i cant see them but my mind recalls them when pen reaches the paper. is it like this for you also? john
