Wonderful Friendship
A-fter the night has turned
I-nto a fourteenth day anew,
R-ising sun has taken
E-arly January morn from blue.
E-vening dark shadows drift into the distant darkness;
N-ew dawn has just broken in the perfect land of promise.
G-ood day is breaking,
R-ise up from slumber;
A-llow your eyes to open,
C-herish the sun so bright
E-ver.
L-et my wish touch the inner part
O-f your heart, mind, and soul,
L-ove, hope and faith we share,
O-ur friendship is so wonderful.
