Within My Deepest Fears
I wanted freedom
But Life said you can only have Mental Slavery
I wanted to change
But Life said for how long?
I wanted to run
But Life said How Far?
I've already paid for my future sins
I seek no actual Revelation
Gratitude, Tranquility
Have left my solemn mind
I rise above my misfortunes
How sarcastic it may sound
How oblivious it may look
The dismal tenacity of hope
I seek no condemnation
I seek only authenticity
Unravelled, Shrivelled
I Trembled, Staggered
I see no darkness
I exceed my expectations
My fears are held from within
Within my deepest fears
A conversation like mine
That has no meaning......
