Withered Man
Let so much of life pass you by, too bad there is no second try
Final moments and final words, second chance sung out by southbound birds
By southbound birds
Broken hearts don't break your stride, feel each pull like the ebbing tide
Don't be afraid, you aren't alone. Southbound birds will take you home.
Take you home...
Chorus
Oh withered man now don't you lie
They won't let your convictions die
One more duty and then take flight
Oh withered man now don't you lie
Hammer lays in the final nails, as your wings are setting sail
Free and clear of the waking world, sail on dreams with the southbound birds
Southbound birds
Solo/chorus
Go withered man, go now proud!
Sail away into southbound clouds
Don't look back but say goodbye, in death you'll find your second try
Second try....
