With Your Hand To Guide

Father, I got a message the other day, From a mother who knew me not, Lost and whose heart was broken. With your hand to guide, she sought me out. Father, her heart aches with grief and sorrow, Troubles continue to fill her heart. She too lost a precious child. You shared your love with me in all your glory When I too lost my child and was filled with sorrow. I humbly ask that you show her your love in all your glory. Father, now I pray that your hand will guide me. Let my mouth gently speak the words that she may hear, To soothe her troubled heart . Let my hands tenderly reach out To give the feeling of comfort she may need. Let my heart be open to her heart So I may understand her sorrows. I know her not, Lord, But with your hand to guide, Help us to become closer Not only to you but also in friendship.
