With Love

This is what a cousins for
To help even out the score
Revenge is sweet but bitter too
But this of course you already knew
We are so different but yet the same
In all our hopes and all our pain
Warmth and love right from the start
Fire and passion fill our hearts

A new generation has been born
A time to love and a time to mourn
We are the hope that burns so bright
Crystal clear on a starry night
The future is there, ours for the taking
A complex pattern of our own making
Independence and strength, courage and fear
A glistening track left by all our tears

Late at night when we are silently crying
All of our faith is slowly dying
No one to talk too, no one to care
Our deep dark secrets we can’t even share
‘nothing is wrong’ is the biggest lie
They don’t take the hints, they don’t even try
Everything is wrong, nothing is right
And this is why we weep at night

Shoulders heaving till we run dry
That is when we stop to think why?
This is just stupid, I’m always around
Even to help you up off the ground
You’re not alone, not like before
Never again will you lie on the floor

I never left, I will always be there
Don’t ever think that I don’t care
And when you think you can’t pull through
Remember there is another exactly like you
You will always be surrounded by my love
After all its in the Banks’ blood.
