In childhood- I wrote poetry,
This girl, a poet born clearly;
And I pen words full of weeping,
I write poems with blood dripping.
It is deep in my soul this need,
And within is the pain, I seek;
Time has not erased the aching,
I write poems with blood dripping.
Entwined in me, and in my blood,
This dark sadness weeps like a flood;
My words written are sent soaring,
I write poems with blood dripping.
