This thing between us, was probably not meant to be.. You were supposed to be yourself, I was supposed to be me... Times changed, and so did feelings... Values attached, and a whole new meaning.. Looking back, on how we began, Wishing sincerely that i can, Change the very start, begin again, this time from the heart...!!!

The classic love lesson: instead of 'me' it must be 'we.' You define it succinctly and poetically quite well.
