Winter Wonderland

Walk across the frozen fields Inhale the frosty air Nap before a blazing fire The tall tales that we share Etching angels in the snow Reward the inner child Wage a friendly snowball fight Obsess, let joy run wild Nutmeg eggnog with cinnamon Deep snowbanks edge the lane Everything is fresh and new Replacing autumns wane Lakes attract the skaters And to hills the skiers go, I'm Never more alive then when I'm Dancing in the snow

Bob-this is another example of why you are one of my favorite poets...so clever, all these attractive lines..rewarding the inner child is definately what I do when I see this first signs of a big snowfall. <..> Gwendolen

This is excellent Bob. The picture you paint is so beauytiful. I love the snow and every year while my girls were growing up we got out and made a big snowman in the front yard once a year. Of course they played in the snow all year but I made it a thing that they would remember me making a snowman with them once a year, Great job. Loved this. God Bless, JB
