Winter Treat
Summer has now gone to sleep,
And winter has her promises to keep,
She stirs slowly from her slumber deep,
You can feel her in the morning breeze,
Soon it shall be cold when winter takes her firm hold,
A distant memory now, the burning heat,
And none, ever for summer do weep,
At long last, a winter treat.
