Winter Poem
People may hate the season,
But for me it has the exact opposite effect,
And they gave some very good reasons,
But no reasons good enough that I can detect.
The cold frozen flakes,
Falling from the ice blue sky,
Freezing your body till it aches,
But for me on its coldness I rely.
The frozen tundra stretches on for miles,
Shovels scrape and cut the frosty ice,
The snow lays around me in heaps in piles,
But I think winter is just well, nice.
