Wind
the tragedy that was yesterday
is now so far away
like a wind blowing
runs passed you never knowing
where it'll end up
or where it will go
all you know is that it keeps blowing
and where it ends up, you will never know
the bells you hear
sounding so near
now extinguish
and are now replaced by silence
of those lost
a terrible cost
of human tragedy that was never meant to be
the flags on the poles
are now at half mass
and the question of why
is the question many now ask still, the wind blows
right passed you as you stand there silent
where it'll end up where it will go
is still the one thing that you will never know
