Will my heart ever mend

Will my heart ever mend
And if it can
When will I begin
to see a ray
of sunshine once again
Instead of always feeling
like a very dark cloud when
the rain starts coming down
Because that’s when
my tears start falling
Because I didn’t just
lose my
companion back then
I also lost my
very best friend
And after all this time
Since she has been gone
You would think that
I could just move on
But I just cant seem
to get
her out of my mind
And that’s why I have
never been the same
Because I loved
her
more then I had
ever loved anyone
Will my heart ever mend
And if it can
When will I begin
to see a ray
of sunshine once again
