Why Baby Why
Why are we born in blindness never once to even see?
Why do we chase the baubles rather than how it should be?
Why is our image in a mirror more enticing than others face?
Why do we say we’re humans yet never join in the race?
Why do we travel the world seeking guidance from a map?
Why do we blunder along… the answers often lying in our lap?
Why do we travel a lifetime without using this sage advice?
Why don’t ever consider his handbook, and make it truly nice?
Why do we think we succeeded when driving from here to there?
Why don’t we feel like lost souls the answer is so clear?
Why do we wander the spiritual road at no reference do we peek?
Why do we face temptation always acting venal and so weak?
Why don’t we finally acknowledge both roads have their goals?
One worldly to achieve our destination, and two spiritually to save our souls.
