Written Therapy

I am just a beginner A newbie as some would put it Why would you read my poems? They lack impressiveness I rarely write well I only do it to express my feelings out So why bother your time reading these? When all of you are ten times better than me I am not saying I'm giving up But I just started, so it will be time Before I become someone of value Just you wait..

I will wait, and i hope you dont give up. because i started just as you did. its my way of expression. dont doubt yourself so much, this poem is laced with it. that, in a way, is good, it shows emotion through words. dont give up and one day you will be brilliant like the brightest most beautiful star. ~Jese

Actually my reason would be really really simple. I value the honesty you just expressed infinitely more than any work judged as 'brilliant' by a critic. I started doing this in January. I've never written a damn thing my whole life. Out of the 75 poems I have here on the site, I think I actually like maybe 20 of them, on a good day. On a bad day I feel like a hack clamoring for attention. Like I said, I value honesty...
