White Is Calm and Peace

White is the colour of innocence. The purity of a child's thought unsullied by badness, no sins to confess White is the peacefulness of nature The vision of snow untrodden except maybe a robins print here and there. A palette waiting for the artists brush White is the colour of mourning In countries far away Worn with sadness and despair For a soul who has passed this way. White is calm and peace The white rose of serenity The wedding dress of a virgin bride The mist over a faraway hill. White is all meanings to all people. penned 24 December 2013

Light of white encapsulates all colors of the spectrum and your lovely poem defines most of the things we think of when we think of this color. A true reflection of what we are. I wish you a wonderful New Year Seren!
