When I Sit In My Soft Warm Chair
My living room is filled with lots of fun.
So that when I sit in my warm soft chair,
It raises my mood when I’m feeling glum,
With whimsical animals everywhere.
Some sit on the floor, some hang on the wall.
Funny fat pigs and giraffes that stare,
And on a tall bookcase guarding them all,
Elephants with trunks pointed in the air.
They are like my friends, a comfort to me.
If I need a laugh they are always there.
‘Tho inanimate they give lots of glee,
Just as a small child with a teddy bear.
Joy can be found just about anywhere
Even when I sit in my soft warm chair.
