What I Have Learned From You

One fateful day, he said to me, "Something I really, really wish you'd see, You called me abnormal, you say I'm crazy, But I'm just unique, and extraordinary." One day, I heard him sigh, "See those stars and meteors in the sky? I wish everyone's point of view was as high, And as wide as the universe we live by." "You don't have to change," said he, "for those who chide you mercilessly, Accepting what they say you'll be, Is a one-way trip to misery." "Why must I do what they do too?" He asked, "Why to fads must I stay true? I'm my own man, and I say to you, Do what you love, and love what you do." "You don't have to be what they say, Always choose yourself what way, You'd go and forever stay," Is what he would always say.
