Wharfedale Dawn

Embracing warped shadows with in crevice crouch till the morning light liberates the hideous gloom. Then upon the balmy breeze delirium vouch dawn’s chorus melodious across the valley zoom. How fragrant this moment a day born again when sunbeams frolic within this a craggy place. Nature comes alive in hillside dale and fen simple truth abiding to ignite the human race. © Harry j Horsman 2012

So true Harry, night always seems the worst, but dawn brings a sense of release, of light and new birth, opportunities and new beginings. Gone is the night, the gloom, the shadows of doubt and despair. Thank God for the new day! Thanks for visiting. One love. Joy Wells

Beautiful imagery, Harry... Great poem... Terry (& thanks for your kind comments... I think "bus stop to hell" may have been a better choice of title...)

this poet commented on a poem of mine and called it "different" yeah man, it's different because mine whine, weep and are woeful as hell, this man's poetry teaches, touches and tells it like it is...man, to be able to write without the "f" word and without self-pity..that must be cool...cudoes to the poet...PHEEPOETRY ~free cee!~

how wonderful this one is. I am trying to think if it is for one of the recent challenges. I bet it is! Thanks for reading my old stuff, Harry. Last night the power went off and I actually wrote a few poems out on my porch by moonlight!!!
