Creative work. Not a very comfortable place to go to wipe tears away though. Sara

Thank you, Sara, for reading and commenting. I used to spend a lot of time under my grandparent's willow tree, mostly reading, a few times crying... was my own place away.

OOooh I love this one! Your play on words between "weeping" and "tears" ... really cool! And it's funny because I actually wrote a haiku that made that connection ... though I think yours is more emotionally engaging than mine.

Very lovely and touching, Susan. Many sentimental poets feel a closeness with willows. Well done! // paul
