Ways of the Wind
Who can harness the ways of the wind?
A wandering wayfarer, it flows freely
as it winds it's way o're land and sea.
Wind can wake one with a whisper, like a
gentle breeze that wistfully weaves
it's way through the weeping willows.
Or it can beckon one to behold the beauty
it brings by wafts of wildflower scents
that are carried upon it's windy wings.
At times, a wild wind can wreak havoc
without warning, like windstorms that
whirl ominously over oceans or
treacherous tornados, terrible and untamed.
Wind waxes and wanes on a whim
whilst working it's way around the world
whether welcoming or warning
it is a work of wonder.
